I know everybody's anointed the bills, the champions of the AFC, and the preseason. And I know the Kansas City the last four AFC championship games have been played in arrowhead. So, you know, I mean, it's a tall task, okay? However, Baltimore Ravens were the number one the number one scene in the FC, but the top of the AFC north until Lamar Jackson got hurt. No, they were actually the number one seed in the AFC. They were ahead of Tennessee. You know what? You did say that. When he got before he said that in the commercial break and I somehow have something many. But no, but then even with that, two, I don't say questionable because if they had worked, we never would have said anything about it. But two games that came down to 2.8 versions as the clock is hitting zeros. If the converted those, they would have won, right? And that's going into the season last year with the most injured thing that we've laid most injured. We've never signing running. Devonta Freeman was on this couch. They were down to their fourth running back. They had 19 men on the IR one at that point was an NFL record. See, so there you go. That just goes to show you just how damaged and broken this Baltimore Ravens team was. All that not being said, all that notwithstanding. And then now probably who will go down as the most athletic quarterback and then players do when it's all said and done with Lamar over because he just let Mike tell it he'll tell you the same thing. But I think this game is fascinating because you had Brian Flores running that defense before. Now he's gone. They're the same defensive coordinator, but like you were talking about these speed on the outside. Well, all those guys now that played at Alabama, they play for Miami now. And I got more stuff. They played Miami plus tyreek hills. They had tons of speed on the outside. Where do you think this game is going to end up? Well, Miami is underdog. So this plus three and a half, so of course I'm going to take my dolphins with the plus three and a half, but the rave is a few things here. The ravens are playing four backup defensive backs tomorrow. They got four guys that are out. So I'm hoping the dolphins will take advantage of that with the passing game. "I know. Anyway, pick number 19, overall consensus. Where were we? Yes. Pick number 19 in rookie dynasty drafts Jalen tolbert from Dallas, too high, too low or about right. He's a rookie that doesn't have to carry the water in Dallas because he's the number two wide receiver. That was outstanding. Oh, thank you. Injuries all over the place. It looks like he's going to. Wow. These cats carrying, that's the water right there. I didn't know we were in a pool, though. Tolbert's going to have the chance to start opposite CD lamb right away in a pretty good offense and so far he's impressed in camp. He's getting first team reps the whole time. There's a lot of wide receivers we've talked about that won't slide into nearly an every down roll like tolbert will. So I think he's going a little bit too low here. Not a little bit for me. What did you say 19? I haven't met 12 in my records. So I have a lot too low. Yeah. I think we all agree that the opportunity is so good for James. He's good. It's not just opportunity. He's good too. In a different year, it will use third rounder, I believe. In a different year, he probably would have been a second rounder and it was a deep draft. But it's so much a fantasy football and especially rookie receivers about opportunity. He will hit the field as a starter very probably with one. Gallup's still in pupae. 20th pick overall in rookie dynasty drafts, David bell from Cleveland, speaking of opportunity. Sure. It's going to be him trying to fight off Devin duverne duverney and stuff like that. That's it. It's opportunity. He's a good receiver. It's opportunity there. I have him. It looks like exactly in this spot or one away, so I think it's about right. The 21st pick of The Rookie dynasty drafts by consensus is zamir white from Las Vegas. This is a pick you're making for next year. I think it might be too low just because of the Jacobs might leave. I don't it running backs rarely get traded because they're not much of a commodity. You don't get it. No, I mean, after the year. This is last year. It's his last year on the contract. Okay, now I'm with you. I thought you meant in season. Yes. I was going along with your next year thing. Got it. If you're taking this for next season because it is a painfully crowded backfield, not only is there Josh Jacobs, but you've got Kenyan Drake. They brought in Brandon Bolden. They drafted zamir white. And white to me does not look aunt Amir Abdul, I'll throw him in there too as a passing down guy and he scored on the Thursday night Hall of Fame game, not that that means a lot. But then again, just Jacob's got a bunch of shocking amount of work. I think 5 carries in that game. White doesn't look to me to have the build of a workhorse back ever. And that part worries me, but at least you're not paying a first round price like James cook, who also to me does not look like a workhorse back. So I think this is about the right spot for zamir white, but you have to be willing to sit on him for a good year, I believe. The 22nd selection, this would be pick number ten in the second round, is Trey McBride, our first tight end. He's an Arizona. Is that too high too low or about right, Matt? I think it's too high. It was a bad tight end draft and McBride was the best of them, but he joins a Cardinals team with just a log jam in front of him both at tight end and overall in the receiving position. Zach Ertz and max Williams sit in front of him on the depth chart for the tight end and the Cardinals have four, maybe 5 wide receivers that are going to be drafted in your fantasy league. McBride won't see the field very much. So if you've got a spot that you can hold onto him for a year, maybe two years, it's a really deep dynasty draft, then go ahead and draft him, but I just don't think he's going to get the opportunity. Yeah, and that may be that may be a significant issue for him. The timeline is too far out for me. Yeah. It's always a slow timeline with tight ends are almost always. This is going to be a very slow one, unfortunately. The second to last pick of the second round in our dynasty rookie draft by consensus, you guys are all selecting Wendell Robinson from the Giants. Yeah, I was the guy who was in on one day Robinson early. I liked him. He's really small. That's a concern. Players that his height and weight generally don't hit the NFL. I've kind of soured a little bit just because he's a slot receiver on the Giants offense with like 14 slot receivers. And a whole mess there. That's not exactly the most high octane thing that the bills or the Cardinals would achieve or whatever. So I actually have pushed him down in the second round. I'd rather have guys like, you know, I guess jelani Woods maybe or Romeo dubs or even an interesting one is Kyle Phillips moving up, who is basically taken over the starting slot receiver job in Tennessee. I have one day on the second round now, but not too far down. I worry there's just too many miles to feed and with the Giants. You haven't even mentioned a quarterback yet. Not two rounds of ADP. And rightfully so in my opinion. I don't have any problem with that. Final guy we'll talk about the last player in the taken in the second round of dynasty empire drafts. San Francisco rookie running back, Tyrion Davis price. He's tall. He's fast. He was productive at LSU. And Eliza Mitchell has is the clear starter there, but we saw Mitchell breakdown, they're going to run the ball a ton. And then Shannon is always weird about usage, who goes in, who goes out, you get the feeling at some point, Davis price is going to hit the field as early as this year. He'll hit the field. Shanahan is kind of unlike his dad in the way that he does use a bell cow and he does stick with a guy. It's going to take an injury to Elijah Mitchell for Davis price to really see the field. I think that's safe to say. And I think Trey sermon is not going to be a factor in this, but you're too. Maybe you also never knew no, maybe it's maybe he uses a bell cow like Mitchell and stuff because of what he's had. In Atlanta, in Atlanta, he had devonta Freeman and losing the second running back. Yeah, I think Willis is the guy I kind of like the most, but I think he's got the toughest road to overcome with Tannehill there. I think that's safe to say. "The perimeter, what they've been able to do making up stuff in the run game, devonta Freeman had really good games in this stretch since he's been lead back. The offensive lines played well, even through some injury issues on the right side. And yet, Lamar Jackson there he is. Every time they get into a rough situation, he has the ability, whether it's through his arm through his running through his reads through manipulating a defense over the course of two or three drives, setting things up for later in conjunction with what Greg Roman's doing and the trust that Harbaugh has in a I think this is a dangerous team. I know their losses were impressive, the Cincinnati loss in the second half was really bad. They were bad on defense and they still have some struggles. But offensively, that's one of the best things I've seen. Individual like chunks of a game or a team or whatever, the Baltimore offense last week has me convention. All right, final thought before we say goodbye to you here. What's it like for you in Chicago now? Second year on the gig, have you noticed it? Have you noticed more people noticing you? "So many different wagering options to try and get you into the game as early as this evening. Baltimore Ravens 7 and a half point road favorites against your beloved Miami Dolphins this evening a FanDuel sports book total on this game sits at 46 and a half. When you look at the most recent meetings between these two teams, they haven't been pretty by any stretch of the imagination, the ravens have absolutely housed. Miami on multiple occasions. And this will be the first meeting since Lamar Jackson through for 300 plus yards and 5 touchdowns back week one in 2019. When you look at Lamar 17 and four in his career on the road, the second best road winning percentage of any player with ten or more starts, only Jimmy Garoppolo is better over that stretch at 12 and two. It is, of course, also a homecoming of sorts for Lamar Jackson who grew up in the South Florida area. If you're the Miami Dolphins and you're trying to figure out a way to scheme up an offensive or defensive game plan against this ravens team, how are you trying to go about approaching slowing down Lamar and what the ravens can do with a healthy receiving core that'll be boosted by the return of Sammy Watkins as well? Ultimately, it comes down to what Brian Flores decides to do schematically, right? I mean, he runs a defense that has been built to play man in blitz. There's a reason you pay, saving Howard and Byron Jones the money you do when you spend draft capital on Jay von Holland early in the second round. And he's been fantastic. Over the years, it's been said that you can't play man against mobile quarterbacks. You know, you can't have your secondary turning its back in coverage against mobile quarterbacks. It's pretty much true. The odd part here is this Lamar has been substantially better throwing the ball against zone than man this year. Large, large splits. So you kind of just wonder what floor is going to do? He's playing a little more zone earlier in the year. And then they got back to their man principles and they've shown well the last two weeks, obviously, the Texans not the stiffest test, but tie rod was there and the performance at buffalo, the first three and a half quarters was fantastic. The dolphins loved the bullets from their main concepts, 36% blitz rate second highest in the NFL. Lamar has more interceptions than touchdowns against the blitz this year. The dolphins do have some pieces in the secondary. If they want to play with 5 defensive backs, which we've seen works well against this run offense because you can have more speed on the field doesn't allow Lamar to hit the explosive as well. It doesn't allow me to get to the outside as easy. So you can have 5 defensive backs on the field. The guy like Brandon Jones or row can play more of that linebacker role with baker. Baltimore's offense is tough to figure out right now. We know the old line isn't what it once was. It looks like Patrick Mark Howie is out again. The running back room leaves a lot to be desired. But somehow when you look at the metrics, Baltimore's 8th and run block win rates second in Russia efficiency and 5th and EPA per rush. A lot of that obviously is some unscripted runs from Lamar. But it was interesting to kind of see now that we're in week ten that the run game isn't as bad as it appears visually and obviously it's not as good as it's been in years past. But that's kind of the adaption defenses have made in Lamar's grown as a passer. To negate some of what's been lost on the ground. This really hasn't been easy for Baltimore, if you kind of just look at the entire season. You look into 6 and two, 7 and a half point favorite this week. We're just rolling. But they've got a battled their way to this market. It hasn't look pretty at time. There's issues with this team and they've played a below average schedule as well. So I'm not quite sure what to make of the ravens. I can tell you at 6 and a half, there were some guys that did grab Baltimore in this spot. My number, if it were tua, certainly doesn't get me to 7 and a half. So that's the interesting debate here is the matchups don't necessarily bode the best for Miami, but we always talk about price as well. What's interesting too when you look at this ravens team is that they've struggled early on in games. They're averaging just to shade more than two points per game in the first quarter, third fewest in the NFL. And it appears it takes Lamar Jackson a little bit to get his bearings as a passer. You wonder if Miami can try and benefit from some of that but to your point talking about how it's kind of been Baltimore operating in fits and spurts. At some point, the depleted depth in the backfield and no true game breaker, if I'm an opposing defensive coordinator, I'm going to be honest. I don't really worry that much about latavius Murray who's been hurt. I don't worry about devonta Freeman and Levi and bell, being able to take the ball to the house the same way I would with the gospel or JK dobbins. So you think they want to key in on the Marc Jackson on some level. You talked about tua all week, the dolphins have been pretty coy do we think it's gonna be a game time decision in terms of when we know who Miami will elect with elect to go with under center? Not a lot of people know about him, but he brings the power as well. So those two backs I think they're going to be just fine within this offense, Led by Lamar Jackson, We have had the flip of the coin. Baltimore one. They're going to take the second half kickoff, so they'll be kicking off from our left to our right. This is a natural grass surface tonight. Baltimore is an all white with black helmets, purple trim. The Raiders, black jerseys, silver pants kickoff coming from our left to right. The fans were given towels, white towels, all now waving them above their heads. But even if you only sees, let's call it 12 to 14 touches. He's such a dynamic player. He's been clear to get out there. I think the Giants are going to need to rely on him. So in all likelihood, unless you're playing in a very shallow league It's hard to envision putting him are keeping him on your bench right now. Again. It may not be exactly what fantasy players want to hear. Because if you drafted him early, certainly you want him to be that Bell cow back that you anticipated in being But the truth is that I'm not going to go out and advise you not to play him. None of us know exactly what he's going to get carries wise, right? It's not really in the Giants benefit to tell us the fantasy players what they're going to do. They're trying to beat the Broncos today. They don't want to tell the Broncos. Hey, even though we've been limiting his contact in practice Oh, don't worry. He's going to be full go. It's certainly possible Despite all The caster nation about whether or not he will get a full workload. He may still see 18 to 20 touches and it just again. It's not in the Giants. Best interest will tell us that situation. So I would say if you have say Kwan Barkley, I would certainly go ahead. And use him today. Unless you're looking at some really stellar options on your bench it running back because otherwise You're just in all in all likelihood, if he does get 10 to 12 touches gives you 70 80 yards and a score. Come on down, but be very careful in the process right? Baltimore's backfield has been cursed early so far, suffering three season ending injuries to J. K. Dobbins, Gus Edwards and Justice Hill. Williams is the early favorite to lead the team and touches but the Ravens subsequent free agent Fleury, if you will, the activity of activity of signing between Levian Bell, Devante Freeman and Latavius Murray. That cannot make Tyson Williams fantasy owners out there. Breathe easy. If you're asking me to figure out what's what here. I don't think anybody can actually tell you with any degree of certainty who's going to be the lead back when this season actually gets rolling? I would say Tyson Williams today, though, is a solid RV to flex spot. However, going forward once Levian Bell and Latavius Murray in particular get up to speed with the playbook. I would not be surprised if either of those two do see more carries as the season progresses, and Murray certainly seems to be the guy who would be the likely goal line. Back when he's in there kind of the role that Gus Edwards some majority of last year, But let's be honest truth be told. The Ravens are going to be reliant on Lamar Jackson. For the most part, certainly down near the goal line. Lamar Jackson the possibility to steal some of those goldmine touchdowns and his rushing ability is going to really Be what carries this Ravens offense if they're going to be productive team, so I would say if you're wondering, are speculating on Bell or Murray like, Let's I said his name Devonta Freeman, throw him to the side. He's not worth an ad right now. I have to see a lot from him before I would go ahead and add him to my fantasy team Levian Bell, though again, he kind of looked cooked. The last few years now, and I don't see why his running style in particular would necessarily complement Lamar Jackson. So I'm not really buy into the Levian Bell hype, either. Tyson Williams seems to be the guy who has the young legs. Who is the good bet, too. If anybody is going to be a very good Fantasy player. I would probably put my money on Tyson Williams. But Latavius Murray of the others is the other guy who intrigues me a little bit because he was the last running back of the three free agents who has been effective. So I would say, you know if I'm ordering that's Tyson Williams, Latavius Murray and then a dark throw on Levian Bell. Next up 1st and 10 40. Niners backfield Raheem Mostert. When he's healthy, he can be a fantasy monster out there, but The 49 ers drafted Trey sermon out of the Ohio State University in the third round for a reason. So I'm curious to see how this one unfolds because the 49 ers offense what Kyle Shanahan does as a play caller is absolutely brilliant, and so if either or both running backs Sees a large portion of carries, which I think is certainly possible for both. They're going to be guys who are going to be locked into most fantasy lineups. So I think there's a possibility where both moisture and sermon are productive fantasy players so something to keep an eye on and something I'll be watching for today. Number four Austin Ekeler is ascension into the fantasy elites at the running back position. Is predicated on him being on the field and the treasures haven't played a game yet, and he's already missed multiple days of practice this week. Now the hope is that he'll be out there and ready to go. But I will say It's doesn't bode well. If you made the bet on a clear in the first round this season already that he's dealing with injuries. It's never been about the ability for Ekeler. It's more about can he Deal with the pounding that a true fantasy workhorse back needs to give you and because of his side size. I think it's fair to question whether or not he can be somebody who Lives up to that. I would say you know what? If if Austin Ekeler has a big first week. He's somebody you may want to go ahead and throw out there and consider potentially Just just dangling out there in front of other running, but owners and seeing what is available if he has a big week this week, because I'm telling you, I'm concerned about his ability to hold up over the long haul of the season as a featured back Number five in Indianapolis. Carson Wentz has had a tumultuous offseason, but Frank Reich said on Friday he is not expected to be limited in any way now, once his fantasy impact may not be the biggest factor for him in particular. But his success I think is critical to productive seasons for Jonathan Taylor, Michael Pittman, and I'll even toss in him. Heinz, who just signed a big extension with the Colts, I believe was yesterday if not Friday. Um, making him with a top 10 highest paid running backs in fantasy football, So I'll tell you My read on that is that no, he minds if you were able to snag him and PPR format, I think that just goes to show you. The Colts think he is going to be a productive player. They didn't Go and sign him, too, and make him one of the top 10 high speed running backs in the league Now certainly we can quibble on a different show about Running backs getting paid these days, but now him, Heinz is somebody who is in the plans for Frank Reich and the Colts offense, So.

I know that, uh, Mikey 18 League. Got a little bit of a nice little boost from Chris Godwin on Thursday night. Corey is nodding his head back there. It's funny, Corey because while I was rooting like I've been, I've been five fantasy leagues and a Survivor league and this is my first year doing survival leagues, but I'm in five fantasy leagues. And the guillotine lead the W G R G T lean that Jeremy runs is the one that I'm always like Most invested in because, like you want to be the last one standing in a guillotine lead. You want to have that that bragging right in the past few years generally want to be the one operating right? Right. Historically, speaking in the past two years, I've actually finished fourth in the game Team league. So like I'm really invested every single week in my GT league, and I feel kind of bad because I feel like then at that point, I'm neglecting my other teams. So I'm rooting for Chris. God and I'm like, Yeah. Get the ball to Chris Godwin, Get the ball to him Touched down. There we go. I was upset about his fumbling in the game. But I was sleeping at that point, so I didn't really know I had to get here You get I got to half time. I got to have time before I had to go to bed and be here early in the morning the next day. All through halftime rooting for Chris Godwin, and I'm looking at my other teams after a little bit, and I'm just like, all right, I guess I should check and see how my other teams are doing. I was facing Chris Godwin and three other leagues. Listen, it wouldn't have too many leagues and you're invested into many spots. It's just gonna be like you're going to be playing against. You're going to be playing yourself like this is why you got to tighten it up. I know like everybody loves to have 15 different leagues. But no, that's you got your money and way too many different pots, right? No, no, I mean, like, I'm I'm not like I'm not like my show bikes. Mike Scott. Like what? While I'm like watching my guillotine league Super heavily because I really don't like my guillotine League this year. I don't like my team. I didn't like my team after I drafted him, however, Corey, I do have to say I did pick up Tyson Williams as, uh, as a guy that I was just like I'm out of running back options here. Who the heck am I gonna pick as my second running? Well, great news guy suffered a debilitating injury in front of him. Uh, not not just one guy, not just two guys. Three guys in front of Tyson Williams suffered season ending injuries, uh, for the Ravens. So now Jayson Williams pretty much You're starting running back along with Latavius Murray and Devonta Freeman and Levian Bell, and I think that there's a chance Levian Bell is not going to play the Sunday bringing back all the old Favorites, but I mean, you would think that Tyson Tyson Williams is probably going to get the start because he's been with the Ravens since the start of the season because he's not collecting Social Security. Well, I mean, Latavius Murray. I mean, has to get up to up to par with the offense and so does Devonta. Freeman. So Tyson Williams Fine. Like I kind of lucked out there but run that way. Yeah, see the where the that were the and just and just don't hurt yourself and see the guys in the other colors. Don't let him get you. Yeah, So, so I'm heavily invested in my guillotine league, and then I feel like I'm neglecting my other teams. But anyway, I have one fantasy team and this is the first time I've played fantasy sports in 10 years. All right. So like I am coming back into the fold after not doing it for very long time, So I I find all of this kind of stuff very amusing to see how complicated people have made their lives so so back to my original point here is that Anyway, Uh, Derek and Lou, if you have any questions for them with breakfast with the Bills, fantasy style. Well, I I took Texas A and M So I'm not betting on the Buffs. I'm betting on Texas A and M I just think that this game will be I believe that it won't be a laugher. But I think Texas A and M pulls away and I think they cover so I'm not betting on the book. And I understand Service Academy games. I understand throughout the records, all that kind of stuff. Air force is so much better than Navy so much better, and they're only laying 5.5. I know. I know Service Academy games, I get it. It's only 5.5 points. I think Air force can do it. But if you agree with Aaron, you probably want to go now, right because the lines got and move towards the Raiders. It's moved to half a point from where it was. Dobbins is up, you know who's going to get the carries. Lamar Jackson is going to get the carries. Gus Edwards or this undrafted kid or Levian Bell or Latavius Murray or Devonta Freeman. It's going to be Lamar. And Lamar will be just as effective as ever. So I think that's why you don't see any real movement on the line is because it's just going to I mean, from a fantasy perspective, you want to know? But who's going to get The carries with all the rash of injuries to the running backs. Lamar is And his I don't think Isn't it? Always the more carries the better for Lamar Jackson. I guess you don't want to put your quarterback even a running one in that position to potentially get hurt, But When Lamar Jackson runs the football. Good things happen for the Ravens, and I think that's who especially this week, especially Monday night. Lamar Jackson is going to get those carry. So if you gobbled up one of those Ravens.

Who was a surprise cut on Tuesday in New Orleans for not restructuring his contact. You cut So in or out. You do believe the Ravens would be just as good with these three veteran backs as they would have been with their now injured younger back. You know, I got to tell you because Murray is now part of that trio. The answer is in bounds here if it was just Levian Bell. And it was just Devante Freeman and you know some other guy off the street that nobody really knew, But it was a body was depth. I would say now there will be a drop off. And quite frankly, there might even be an appreciable drop off Latavius Murray could play. Let's Davies Murray is a good player. Uh and I'm curious to see what Latavius Murray is when you have the threat that Lamar Jackson is running the football. He's never had that nobody has only one Lamar Jackson so Inbounds. I think running will still be the strength of this team. Mark Andrews in the Red Zone. They've got to get some of those young receivers run down more. Some of those Some of those guys banked up. It's been a horrendous summer now into the early part of fall for the Baltimore Ravens, But I do think that this is a very savvy recovery by an outstanding organization.
