Former Boston Red Sox Pitcher Curt Schilling wants off the Hall of Fame ballot
"We'll stay for the first time since 2013. The baseball writers did not elect anybody to the Hall of Fame. Curt Schilling came the closest missing by 16 votes. He got 71% Barry Bonds. Roger Clemens were both at 62%. All three have one year left next year, their final year of eligibility. But Schilling says he He doesn't want to be a part of it. He wrote a letter to the Hall of Fame, saying he wants his name taken off the ballot. It's the first time since 1960 that nobody, I mean, not even someone from a veteran's committee is part of a class for the Hall of Fame. But Derek Jeter in the class of 2020 are still scheduled for induction this summer in
Anthony Joshua casts doubt over whether Tyson Fury fight actually happens in 2021
"Let me give you some more quotes from an art. Spn article About a week ago from joshua go a week ago. When i look at fury. Great talent but i don't know whether he's coming or going joshua tolley. He's supposed to have the real boxing. I q so it's going to be a real good challenge. I'm keen to compete with him. No problem but whether he's ready that's a whole other story because of the issues. He faces during his career. I don't know what will happen in twenty twenty one. But if i was to bet all my money on it i would say use it because he is with matchroom straightforward fight and his track record shows when he says he's going to fight someone he does and Yeah man look. He's expressed that you know. I guess. Tyson fury kind of little bit all non dependable. I guess in a sense you know. It's not dependable and usually tyson fury kind of goes off the hinges. Miami Marlins: Derek Jeter, Kim Ng make baseball history
"I want to start with What I mentioned in the update, and that is the hiring of Qiming as the new GM off the Miami Marlins. And just off the top before we get to the historical nature of this and what it means for North American professional sports, moving forward. Just it is interesting to me. You know? Inevitably, the Rockies and the Marlins will be linked. Both coming into the league together. Iraqis and Marlins or not rivals by any stretch of the imagination. It's certainly if you are Iraqis Fan and the Marlins do something good. And the Rockies. Don't You inevitably draw that line between each other. And for the longest time, even though the Miami the now Miami Marlins used to be Florida Marlins have been more successful or tasted Oldham. Its success more than the Iraqis have. For the most part, the Marlins have been one of the worst run organizations. In all of baseball. We all remember Jeffrey Loria. Would buy a championship. Did buy a championship. 97 When Edgar Renteria got that hit off of Jose Mesa and the world Syriza's Sold everybody off. Because the wage bill would have been too high. But through that, by selling off all those players, he ended up getting a lot of really talented young players. Josh Beckett, Juan Pierre Carl Pavano. And they We're able to go win a championship, and then they were all sold off. Couple of ownership changes later, a monstrosity of a stadium poor attendance. Fire sales seemingly every other year incomes Derek Jeter and we thought that it was going to be more of the same. How in the world Is Derek Jeter. Going to Be the And he's not He runs the Marlins that he has a money man behind him. That helped him get the deal done as much money is Derek Jeter has made throughout his career. He can't outright by a major league baseball team himself, so he has kind of a What Silent partner that kind of front him the money, But he's the face. He's the guy that is making all the decisions. And it's something that We really haven't seen too much. And North American pro sports. We've seen plenty become G m's even presidents. And I guess that might be Derek Jeter's technical title, but two Be The owner. Of a team like the true owner, not nine. Justin Timberlake buying Air Peyton Manning's wife, buying shares of the Memphis Grizzlies. Like it's his team. And then they promptly had a fire sale. After he took over. We thought, okay, same old Marlins. Quietly. They have become one of the more Progressive Four thinking which I guess are It basically means the same thing. Progressive four thinking. Competent. Organizations in baseball.

Forget Barrel-Aged Whiskey: This Company Whips Up Instant Aged Spirits in the Lab
"This is a little test. If you're a fan of craft of things that require years of patients to pay off, say a Christmas tree farm, a newly designed luxury car or an eighty year. Old Scotch time is a worthwhile investment to you on the other hand. If speed matters more to you than craft, you may see years invested in, say those Christmas trees as so much wasted time. It's much faster to make an artificial tree after all and you can still hang lights on them but what if you could have convenience and craft at the same time? Seems impossible doesn't well, not anymore at least for one particular beverage, scientific innovation has come to whiskey. There's nothing about whisky that's new. The date of its invention is a little fuzzy but historians say may have existed as long ago as fourteen hundred ad or maybe even further back than that today, the longer it ages the more expensive it is and two connoisseurs typically the better it tastes but not to the founders of silicon. Valley's bespoke in spirits, Stu Aaron, and Martin. JANACEK say they've come up with a laboratory process for making whisky and only a few days if they took my made quiz being the second group, they call the years it takes to age say mark antiquated and wasteful. bespoke spirits doesn't call itself a distillery. Rather the company is Spirits Tech Company intended to help other distillers, grocery chains and celebrities create custom spirits that can move like lightning from lab to store shelves. The name speaks to its intent bespoke means custom-made. The startup uses the lab to bring the barrel to the spirits rather than the other way around in other words, it's using material science massive amounts of data analysis to. Create spirits according to Forbes rather than putting spirits into oak barrels. The company places selected tiny pieces of wood in precise combinations in a kettle with spirits in char- heat and churn or apply again with scientific precision to mimic the aging process much much faster. The company claims they can create seventeen thousand different flavor combinations in three to five days. Most whisky is aged in barrels for about five years according to CNN. So far spoken has made whisky Tequila Rum and brandy mostly for other companies but they also do sell spirits to consumer specifically a line of different whiskies from classic Bourbons to one made with Ron Whiskey of course, the biggest obstacle, any food or drink made in a lab faces scepticism about and quality when it comes to that question bespoke in his taken home about two dozen awards from spirits tasting events since they launched early this year, that's the social proof. They think they need to grow the rest of the business, not just custom blending new products behind the scenes, but also helping distilleries rescue batches of expired beer or spirits from distributors that aren't quite right which seems. To be a good foundation for a promising business, still it's hard to grow a whole new category of anything without enough money. Early, this month, the small business one, two point six, million dollars in seed funding from hall of fame, Baseball Star Derek jeter, and Silicon Valley scientists TJ Rodgers purists may turn up their noses at spoken in America. Samuel senior bought a distillery in Loretto Kentucky in nineteen, fifty three but that distillery began making whisky as far back as the early eighteen hundreds. Maker's marks message today is still it's one bottle at a time every time. And an oppression bit of copy anticipating the changes coming to the Industry today they also say it's been a widely held belief around here that character isn't made by machine. Ouch. Regardless of an expected war between purists and innovators, the time may turn out to be just right for bespoke in the pandemic is spiking demand for spirits but trade wars are making them more expensive to import according to CNN. And when you can't import easily making new spirits here, bottles that can get to the shelf in the blink of an eye could fill a growing demand. and to that investors like, Derek. JETER may well say, cheers.
Pandemic playoffs: Brewers, Astros in despite losing records
"When you woke up on Sunday morning none of the eight matchups were said I. think that's kind of cool that would be like the the final day of the regular season Lebron Yeah I don't even know who we're playing. That's what it was for every single team yesterday in Major League Baseball your dodgers are going to play the brewers who got in yesterday with the first losing record granted at sixty. Games with the first losing record for a team in the history of the Major League Baseball Playoffs there were twenty nine and thirty one opening round best of three all in the same ballpark what are your thoughts and we couldn't lose I mean you know it. Likely not, but we could because his only three games all they got to do is win two of them, right? So baseball is so weird dodgers obviously you mentioned we got him at home dodger stadium. I don't think that you know I'm sure we're going to roll out Walker Bueller in Kershaw and we're going to do what we need to do to get to the next round But you could lose you know teams could lose you know the beginning of the year, the dodgers and the Yankees were pretty much the favorites to to get to the thing. In the end, but then the pandemic happened then we had to do all of the rescheduling and figure out how many games that went on for so long how many games should they play the only WanNa play this amount, the players, WanNa, play that amount it became a money issue, and now we finally have gotten to the point where October will be playoff baseball. Speaking out, let's go through a couple of interesting storylines after this round by the way, then everything is going to be played at trial sites and eventually the world series will be played at the home of the Texas Rangers and they'll wrap that no. Later than October twenty eighth, they want to avoid the second third. So homefield everybody early, and then we're going to neutral sites, Los Angeles San Diego. Texas and Houston quick thoughts the Yankees of the five seat in the AL, the five seat, the rays of the one-seat. What does the same thing with the dodgers? Right? The Yankees could they take care of business they moved their events they don't they go home whether they a one C or DHCP. It's everybody's even really to be honest with you. Everybody's even Garrett Cole. Start, for the Yankees Chain Bieber for the Indians in for all the money they paid Garrett Cole Shane Beavers had a better year he has in when you look at it, there are no fans in the stands. So there's no home field advantage for anybody you know what's great about not having fans the Houston Astros. Left right. Everywhere they go. They are the sick see the astros have made it in baseball's big off season, they should just get blinked. Every time people bring up the Astros are frown just cheated just blatant just cheat to win. They're taking on the Minnesota twins keys, dodgers will take on the brewers the padres in the playoffs for the first time in fourteen years will take on the Saint Louis Cardinals and the much maligned and I know it's a sixty game season. How about the Miami Marlins under? Derek. Jeter, for everything that they have gone through there and they'll get the Chicago cubs. Yeah. They they. They deserve to being I'm happy for I'm happy for Jeeter because when he? Blew everything up and traded. Call Stan and everybody was like Oh they just care about the money. They're completely trash in the organization, and now they're in the playoffs and they take on. Chicago like you said, one

Miami Marlins CEO Derek Jeter: COVID-19 Outbreak Happened Because Players ‘Let Their Guard Down’
"The cardinals of the latest team to suffer a corona virus outbreak resulting in their four game series in Detroit being postponed the I. of course, was the Marlins. Here's Derek jeeter their man in charge describing how his players behaved before all this happened. Oil. Down to on this particular trip was. Guys were around each other got relaxed in. Let Their guard down. There were getting together in groups. They weren't wear masks as as they should have been warned social distancing of the entire traveling party is responsible for not following. The Protocols has instructed that that includes staffs, players. Everyone is seen seen the impact. They've seen their teammates, you'd sick. As I bring the Jeff Passan and Jessica does in Jeeter did go on to say, I think this is important that he had seen as we all have people suggesting that when they were in Atlanta, maybe the guys went out to bars and clubs and all of that strongly refuted that notion he was saying, yes, they got lax in some of their protocols, but it wasn't like they were out there doing things that were like super erase. I just thought that was important to get in. That said Jeff, what does the League's response to the Marlins, and now the cardinals outbreaks tell us about what we should expect for the remainder of this season. Greenie tells us that Major. League Baseball is saying damn the torpedoes full speed ahead, we are going to play through outbreaks and we saw that with the marlins and we're seeing that now with the cardinals, seven players on the cardinals have covid nineteen six staff members as well. Those thirteen people have been sent back to Saint Louis Right now is the cardinals trying to figure out what exactly they are going to do. They played only five games, this season Greeny, and yet the fact that they're missing potentially at least another four games possibly another week of games on top of that. MLB says, okay. This is this is reality if we want to put a baseball season on traveling around the country in two thousand twenty and it is a reality that they are embracing in full because at this point, if there's going to be baseball Greenie they really don't have another choice Jessica. What do you think? I think that honestly, this is something that's going. We're going to see it again in another team I hate saying that, but you get one player and that's what jumps out to me. So much is now seen it with two teams in a week or one player has it, and then the next thing you know you blink and overnight five, six, seven players get it, and I think even talking with, Mike, Chill, the cardinals manager everyone realizing how quickly this can spread and that's something i. feel. Feel like we're gonNA see continued throughout the MLB

Where exactly are we? So we're going to California el Segundo AB- like what two miles from the airport? Exactly yeah I mean it was the most. This is the easiest drive ever made from the airport and season to just so you know the whole theme is heart of a hero and we're really trying to identify People that are changing the game and and that's who were having an inviting on season two of the Pike Aston. You probably more than just about anybody. I know are changing the game in a multitude of ways and I and I wanna get into that so you are truly a game changer. Speaking of the game game changers. Have you seen the movie I have in before I even get into that? I mean I just WanNa share on August the impact you and your family out on my own life and just how much a fan of yours and incredibly sincere. I've watched forks over knives yet more times than I can count Shared it with more people than I can count And you don't want. We got a chance to connect few years back. It was a terrific thing for me. No I've been a big fan of yours for a long time to be here being everybody. You surreal well. I I'm flattered. Thank you and so in the game changers. You saw it. Did you like it. I love that movie. Yes in fact. You're so intimately viable that but I'm having to stop myself showing you a clip. Because it's almost every time someone comes to my office injured in this subject. But of course that would be lost on you because you set the record for most I think most downloaded most downloads of a documentary ever and they broke it in a little over a week. It's remarkable and it resonates so strongly with me for so many of the reasons that it also resonates with you of course But even as somebody's building business it was really important for me to see this You know growing up we were very much exposed to the got milk campaign. I mean that was something that was a big part of culture and and maybe less so today but you know the use of athletes to promote a particular type of animal-based protein with something the California Milk Board. Did you know very well And and that was something that because of my own background and interest in the milk industry. My family was doing I paid a lot of to the got milk campaign with came time for me to start my own company I. She hired the original sponsor of that campaign. I'm Jeff Manning on the California Milk Board. He had left since you grew up on a dairy farm. I grew up in the city. Okay on my dad's a professor and we He he didn't like being in the city and so he wanted to have a place to recreate because he grew up in the country and so got a farm Very early on in my childhood and he's kind of entrepreneurial so ultimately we get wholesale cattle there Dairy but but he rate so To went back and found the person who who wrote the original mandate for the got milk campaign of someone named Jeff Manning on the California Milk Board and that led to that campaign with milk mustache. And you know Bo Jackson Derek. Jeter et CETERA. And so I asked him to come work with me so we were together for a number of years creating the future protein campaign that we have here on the go beyond campaign and it's been been remarkable woman named Beth. Moskowitz has brought in more athletes. I can count Really remarkable career having or you know deandre Jordan Deandre Hopkins Chris Paul. They are now getting behind the idea. That a plant based Diet is the best performance and so game changers just nails that yeah and and there's a scene in there with the Tennessee. Titans football players and chastity. Morgan yes is cooking. I think some burgers on a grill. Those beyond Meat Burger. Yes we love the the Morgan's and all they're doing and I think that's just a great story and you're seeing that Clifford throughout the NFL particularly NBA. Where lightness quickness is so important you seeing so many. Nba Athletes turn to a plant based Diet for no other reason improve the performance. They also love the social aspect of it. They love the disruptive Challenger. Let's let's not do things the way we used to do. Let's bring something forward in this. World is a little better for for their kids. The challenge the status quo. Yeah there's a big big part of that

Miami Marlins' Jeter giving up salary during pandemic
"Miami Marlins CEO Derek Jeter tells team employees he's giving up his salary during the pandemic a person familiar with the conference call by Jeter says other members of the Marlins executive team also agreed to take pay
"derek jeter" Discussed on Xtra Sports Radio 1300 AM
"To refer to Derek Jeter as beloved the yeah I think that like as a general term sure but I think a lot of people would also disagree with that too well I I I say beloved because I've heard grown men referred to him as the captain yes you know and and generally that wouldn't go to your your you may be right other fan bases may say Hey if Jeter was on the Royals he wouldn't be what he isn't yeah no I I think one hundred percent that would also be true but I think people grown men prefer him as captain because that's the style check like he brought so much joy and excitement and championships to the city that I really put so many athletes under intense pressure and scrutiny and he did it without he you know he did it without really doing anything off the field in a bad way you know what I mean like for the most part it's just a standard guy I always said about that Jeter didn't give you anything so therefore all you could judge him on was his plight and his is play was excellent and and and also collection and all those things but it sort of is has made him beyond reproach in a way where he's very well liked and and when you're very well liked people give you the benefit of the doubt and I think that might come into play with what we're about to talk about because I'm surprised in all the the Jeter media attention this quote didn't get more attention Derek Jeter was asked why there has been a fall in his mind in the black participation in Major League Baseball for instance when he entered the league it was about sixteen percent African American and by its final season six point seven percent and continues to decline and Jeter said I know I think you know the younger generation and let me finish before anyone judges me I think you're into instant gratification he went on to say if you see a player playing college basketball the the next year they're in the N. B. A. you see someone play college baseball they disappear for three years and that point to me Julie would have validity in general yeah like I understand that in general the instant gratification but we're it's curious is that it was asked specifically about black people and if that's the answer you're giving therefore the the connotation there is sort of bad you know black people are lazy or want that instant gratification or shine that while it because the don't necessarily have the same kind of income or opportunities that may be why people would like that's he he addresses the racial inequality which I do believe exists in this country but I think that it's interesting that he does because he doesn't he never would ever give a comment and something that could be considered a hot button issue in a way like you for any young kid instinct for any young teenager anyone instant gratification of being able to play in high school and play or play in college and play in the NBA like in within one year and you get to make that money like anyone's going to want that that has that excitement we see the the sneaker culture it's all over the media baseball is like very hard to be very good at because you have to go you have to slog through the minors you're in college like you're not you're not the cool guy on campus necessarily yeah I mean is the gratification reply across the board but you could film yourself put on Instagram livor or what have you media Lee but I don't know if that explains used participation because if you're a kid I doubt you're thinking that far ahead right I I think that's might be just more about either the the speed of the game what your friends are doing and then of course opportunity like you mentioned some sports soccer and basketball I think more than any other right you do need a a field or court and a ball and that's basically basically it so I I would also like to give due to the benefit down here because I'm I'm assuming it was maybe not a question he was exactly prepared for and perhaps went when he answered he went to sort of a stock answer about baseball participation in general without realizing the ramifications of the specificity in which it was after yeah because he technically didn't address the racial component he just answered a question that had you know that was under that the premise that it was a directed at race and I we are giving him the benefit of the doubt because we would put a lot of other athletes under intense scrutiny if they did answer a question in this manner that was about race yeah because his answer applies to everyone the answer would be that's the answer to the question why is youth participation falling as well but then maybe he was speaking to it like why are we giving him a pass then perhaps this is his answer to a question that is about race and sports and why there aren't as many back black players now playing baseball but then if that is the case it's problematic right because if that's the case he is saying the black culture is more you know a a show your something along those lines that would be the implications of that statement if he didn't make it in error I think that went in the article mentions that it it also insinuates that black players come from you know a family upbringing that that isn't as well off like that does that you know maybe they do want player like the players would want to be able to go make money and not be able to sort of sustain a career in the minors and not make as much money as you know I mean there's there's a there's a financial component to also insinuating that the racial component yeah every and look there aren't socio economic realities in the country I mean go you go all the way back to obviously the way the country was formed in slavery and and segregation and all these things that that have an impact to today so I I don't think that aspect can be ignored and when you are talking about baseball or golf for you mention hockey you a lot of different you know activities that that have a cost that that that's going to be tougher for you know across an income line I don't it just make that race a lot of poor people all across the board but it it's just it comes across strange for from him when it was asked that specific way because I I I I I don't know how to approve of this answer even if I disagree with that fundamentally in a broader sense without saying or were hoping that he was speaking to baseball in general not just the black and I think that he the more we talk about them that it seems he was speaking of baseball in general because he would have to explain his reasoning and his point of saying yes this is because of instant gratification but I would just pertains to a a black community like you have to explain why he'd say that because if I was a white kid and I was good enough to play basketball the same thing would apply right why would I be in in Poughkeepsie or or whatever you know playing for the the the Tritton sea birds or or or what not rather than than being a a rookie on the New Orleans pelicans yeah I mean honestly the bigger question in like an idea is it like why would kids want to what looks to pursue a career in Major League Baseball when if it's if you're good at a lot of different sports like why would you decide to go down that path sure of course baseball is America's pastime people love it there's a number of incredible athletes that would inspire you but to get to be really good is very very difficult it's it's very hard to obviously they there there's a long process involved there but I I I I also think it's easy I would disagree even if we were giving the benefit down applying it to you I would disagree that that is a hindrance for youth participation because I I I don't think that's where that conversation started that's when you start to realize you are good when you start to realize all right I am sixteen seventeen years old and I'm making the all American team in high school or what not and I I have real chance to play another sport or or you know I I'm Kyler Murray and I could play ball or baseball but when I'm Billy you know at the end of seven years old I don't think I'm thinking that far well then that also just as it it's your parents like putting you in different sports like I was a competitive figure skater because I liked the pretty dresses like I did that for eleven years based on just that premise alone which is horrified dresses gifted that wasn't it was still pretty dresses I was like yeah dresses are pretty pretty good no way I mean it is your upbringing and it's where you are and it's what you have access to and it's how much money your family has like soccer basketball or easy for any family to be able to put their kids into hockey football aren't necessarily the same yeah there are there are barriers there for sure eight five five two one two four two two seven robin Lundberg Julie Stewart Binks here with you on CBS sports radio it's going to Jake up in Dallas stick up your up next on CBS sports radio what's up man I think we have make sure I want to preface this by saying that I'm a maverick swim I have no bias here but I honestly think it's disrespectful to lebron even put Kobe in this conversation I mean if you look at any of the major five stat groups one has more points rebounds assists steals and blocks per game for their career and we have this false narrative that Kobe with the killer and he you know he killed in the playoffs look look at their playoff percentages lebron has higher points rebounds assists steals blocks per game and you can even look at efficiencies that lebron has higher fuel percentage report percentage the only thing that Kobe did better on the field on the court I'm sorry would be a better free throw percentage and I'll let that one slide since if there is one weakness in lebron's game that he has an actually because it Joe your matches shooting before like even like shooting cut Kobe is probably a slightly better midrange shooter lebron but it's close the bronze a better shooter from distant for brands better finisher I really just don't see any actual quantifiable way to make an argument for Kobe over the brunt of the rings yeah and I also agree with that too and especially if they're caller there Jacob said I would be upset if I was lebron like people romanticize Kobe and there's nothing to say that his career was incredible but at this point lebron is passing it like he's not just passing him in points potentially tonight against the seventy Sixers he's passed them in so many different categories minus the rings but that's also just one aspect of someone's career and his is still he's still going strong he could he could have another ring this year he could have his three more years on this current deal who knows what more he can do and so if I'm him I'm like okay cool I I'll have your Kobe versus lebron discussion but it's more so lebron verses MJ in any regard I believe yeah I think we have with the brown we go back to twenty ten again is there is a like a a group of people whose routing identity in the sport was based on not liking lebron and eat and most people who are same got over that because they realize how great you are there's like a faction that remain and that faction combined forces with the the people who didn't want lebron to pass Kobe and that faction combined forces with the people who didn't want love brown to pass Jordan to give at least enough of a group out there to to continue to they say about lebron despite the the resume being like beyond reproach and then when you say that like look at how many people are against lebron like why do we sure there have been some things that would be he could be criticized for the decision is the biggest one I can think of but why do we criticize abroad so much like why do we hate lebron more than we like him like why I mean he's he's a genuinely decent human being it seems like off the court he's done nothing but be like an upstanding citizen he's done you know we mentioned so many things beyond just his basketball career he's like by players for the most part like he's a good teammate why do we hate him so much content I think it I think he just became something that people talk about mean in people knew would generate a reaction and and and views and then like some clicks and the like and therefore it just kept going and and got a life of its own kind of like the Eli manning hall of fame debate which now has a life of its own we're going to ask another Super Bowl champion with the giants about the two time Super Bowl champion with the giants coming up next robin Lundberg Julie Stewart Binks it with you on CBS sports radio you're listening to the robin.

"Greg Befall. Oh you come on your show Larry Europe Pussy. That's US like you're a fucking great athlete be like be like Curt Schilling and I'm GonNa get into. I'm not gonNA a poet short. Shut the fuck Larry Fucker show. And you're in the fucking hall of fame like Larry Walker so I do too but that tweet pisses me. He wasn't supposed to get it know what he was getting in. And no one knows. Okay there there's A. There's a test for a reason. Excuse me no you gotTa Call US wearing a spongebob. Squarepants like bowling pulling shirts. Kinda cool. Shit what did you think of. Iran's instagram beautiful did you did you see him. He said I was lucky to be by your side on the left side of the Infield for so many years. I needed you more than you needed me. That's true that's like literally a love letter chills. It might right on. The cliffs sparks book after on his Instagram Post. I feel like that relationship is like so era. Just like calling jeeter almost like probably never do like like you know Jesus like completely ignoring stop calling me like a dog and like a bad owner God. Damn what I'd love to sit down with those two guys and just have them speak freely about each other. It'd be ever like collapsed documentary or they'll be fucking jeeter would ever do i. I don't think he would either. I think what we need to do it for the money. So there's no incentive they'll be. Yeah but he needs to be talking. I talk about to at least one of them. One could die before the other. That'd be on the same day or the same time very very unlikely and so what ties this white sox thing so we can all agree. It was a great job of content. And great barstool thing by white sox Dave Detroit for one you know if he got duped. Shame on you but the funniest thing O. J. Simpson did you see this video yet. OJ Not happy about. He was coming off the golf course. He's he's a big Patrick mahomes gotten. I'm not sure how he tied that me. No Sense Burgess getting off the golf course like my home and then he's just like but any like that brain of OJ's clueless. I thirty seconds. I like the I like watching his video and I love how he he just treats twitter as the world. You could tweet yours truly. But he said that he thinks the only thing on twitter is his fantasy football. He's like if people I've only joined twitter to hear about my fantasy football team. Could you imagine someone telling Oj. Simpson no one cares about your fantasy. Football team like apart may take debt immediately But the end of his first the first thirty seconds of the video is just talking about like betting and fantasy football and then he gets into he heard about Derek jeter and passion were homes. tweeted so I think he's a homeless guy and that's I don't know but at the end he goes. We gotta get rid of the sky. Could you imagine in White Sox. Greatest greatest piece of content but one of his better content in his time. Here that it ends up killing him out would be if she didn't killed white sox Dave for thinking he was the non Duda voted. That'd be maybe Oregon history. That'd be the greatest against that you're a pussy. I'd die for this bit for. OJ killing me. That'd be awesome to try and try and he's trying to get oh tail should keep doing this. And then all I need is video. OJ calling Dave. We'll just talk I would just tag. OJ everything but hey you got something. We've got yeah you got something to say about my photo fucking off I don't think. OJ's a he'd probably read. You just mentioned I think o j just puts like someone record video guy tweets it out and he's never hit submit phone. Hey White sox. Hey Dave Williams. I'm a big fan of Jimmy Garoppolo here but there was a very funny very funny tweet over the weekend when it's like this inappropriate but it's funny. It's like Patrick Mahomes when he gets tired of his annoying knowing girlfriend. And it's the video of Oj. Patrick all hey were very funny. Very talked up God of all right. I mean we don't want to have too much on jeeter obviously or for that matter. You go wait. I IF WHITES GETS MURDER BY O.. J. That's the only way this becomes a great thing but But what have you jeeter. I think I'm going to try and make get out the Cooperstown I never been. Have you ever been in Cooperstown. Oh Yeah you've been up for induction weekend. Two thousand seventeen. I always said that this would be the time I'd go because it's a far trip from like Jersey Jersey and all that but I or New York now But I think I'm GONNA try it. It's going to be a scene hotels now because you could buy those like a year out and people have already had their hotels out there in two thousand seven hundred dollars realistically. I won't go because I'll see. The price is going to watch the. We'd go for a trip that we could do that too. When is it again? It's late July. Okay Yeah Mark Your Calendars Fun Jeeter and Larry Walker Moving on here. The Astros had their fan fest which was pretty much unmitigated disaster astor before we get into that. I want to talk to about Indochino. How does wearing a suit make you feel? Are you uncomfortable. You shouldn't be because you should be rock Indochino Indochino..

"Host Tub sitting alongside me in studio. MICO is my compadres. The victim self dare cheaters. Lookalike Tommy. SMOKE STOPS GO belly. Oh uh-huh say a one time for this show. Yeah I mean you know. You're getting a lot of congratulations yesterday. I think people can seize profiles on social media but no. It's a great a day great day for Derek. Great Day for everyone looks like him. Yeah not not exactly I mean it could have been more perfect We are going to be joining Marnie seconds. He's late with his train. So just bear with us for it could have been more perfect. He could've been unanimous. Like this is the first thing that go wrong in the season but also I don't like dirty use. A Hall of Famer is the most percentage votes ever a position player. That's cool most ever. That's not unanimous like I don't want to give this a miserable crabby. Fuck whoever is the credit of making Derek jeters hall of fame name Induction Field Down like I get. It would have been much better if it's if it was unanimous but I hate that like the whole thing is damper. Now there should be a celebration of career. Sure and I get that. It sucks but I don't WanNa give this miserable piece of shit the satisfaction to think like. He's ruining well. I'M GONNA is. I want him to go to jail for the rest of his life. I wanted to be shamed Shane publicly. I want him to have to explain it in some sort of public peace after college. Like I'm not giving a guy a click. I want him to say it like publicly on like livestream somewhere or whatever like I don't WanNa give one click of whatever companies associated with I want him to actually have to explain. Why Derek Jeter isn't a hall of Famer in his mind and I can't honestly think of what he's GonNa like unless he says and this doesn't make it fair but this is what I could see him saying? Like I knew he was going to be hall of fame voter but everyone what else I gave her an else my vote. But that's wrong. But that's just the wrong way where he's going to say I think he's good enough to be unanimous that's terrible. That's not the way to think the hall of Fame Voting System. The is Fox. First of all there shouldn't be a cap to how many people you could put in because and they're also should be. It should be shorter than ten years. They are on the ballot. Those are my my two. I like now joined by Martin James Martin. What's going on dirt you? I mean he says that we shouldn't give the guy I'm saying acknowledged uh-huh I'm saying that right now. It Sucks Derek. JETER's like hall of fame. Induction is getting dampened by the fact that it wasn't unanimous almost feels like said we're trivia celebration that he's in Eh great career and I think that being like Oh shucks he was unanimous is giving this guy the satisfaction he wanted. It is so I have. I still want the people might take but I think all of a sudden is Mike just went out. What are you doing target? Hello Yeah I was GonNa did you purposely just make. It might not work because it's just obviously we knew he was getting in correct. I was but we were just waiting. C One hundred percent. You don't like Kinda WanNa be that guy to have that power I have asshole. He's a dickhead sick to be that one guy. That'd be how everyone's talking about to be a unanimous do it with like another derrick. Jeeter this is I think dirges should definitely been one hundred. People are so fucking dumb and that like that. Ah He wasn't like he's overrated bobble. I don't even know if the trolling he literally flavors trolling. I think there's actually other people out there who I know that's crazy. They really obsessed with his defensive runs. Saved number like for his career. Watch the trump throw people literally jumped on literally. Oh did Derrick jeeter. It got to the point because we're from New York. There's no chance everyone everyone does that. I mean think about all the people around baseball that were the number to form and stuff it got to the point. Where maybe there was a point maybe where people overrated Derrick jeeter a little bit but the pendulum is now swung back to the fact that I think he's now underrated like so many people are saying? So what are yours overrated. I think he's now under. Highest percentage vote by Brezler Industry and the hall of fame underrated player. I like that. Yeah I generally like the way people are are. Here's the thing it's like two separate arguments should derrick jeeter hall of Famer and then should Derek jeter view unanimous hall of fame. There are people that are going to say he's a hall of Famer but it shouldn't be unanimous but that just doesn't make fucking sense. It's like you just because pass. Voters did the wrong thing by leaving out. Thank Ken Griffey and Tom Seaver and Babe Ruth etc look America Rights. It's wrongs women didn't have the right to vote at one point. I guess what's happening women. They got they got the right to vote. We vote rights wrong. I look at you like what's happening. We look we you know we we. We had a bad past the hall of fame voters last year. It got straightened out with Marrano. We continue on that good path. This guy probably want women to vote the Derrick jeeter. I liked the accusees. Yeah now there is. The school thought that this could solidify that. Mary is going to be the only unanimous famer ever it. Should that only like good thing. That comes out if that happens. That's awesome because he was the best in my opinion of anyone who plays a certain position. He's the most dominant in sports history. Story Yeah I mean if ten griffey junior didn't get it right. I don't think anyone position player. She got them right. And but that's not but like no doubt their word the Sincino but what about trout. Honestly like I think someone like someone like he didn't win winning player so I I don't think will be unanimous unanimous now that if junior was unanimous yes sure that opens the door fog intro but now it's like I think they're just kind of trying to solidify Marianna which that could be if that's maybe this. This guy's L- Reasoning is like he's just a Marian Guy. There's no way Marrano guy to me Your Hall of Famer or you're not the whole thing like oh we shouldn't be unanimous. I missed you ask one hundred people is Derek. Jeter Hall of Famer. They should all say yes. I'm all be unanimous hall of Famer. Maybe they're not all going to say yes but at one hundred people think he's a hall of fame it's facto. He should be handed about. WHO's a hall of Famer on this list right here? Well obviously der Cheater. Well then you have to say that the balance because we're all obviously obviously is in the hall of fame but yeah he's handing a ballot here Adam Dunn's on this list Brad pennies analyst. Someone voted for Brad Penny so get any votes. I don't know imagine who needs to shut up the kid good career he did curt schilling need to shut up Europe. Rick he's a prick. We can't have that guy. Guide the hall shut up getting a guy about how you didn't get in Europe wreck if you shut the fuck up you'll be in the hall. Yes Derek jeter. Hasn't said there's nothing we know what they're doing because Kurt John. You're a prick shop. I don't care about you. Not being all fifty states only got so much same GIAMBI. He'll get six votes. Yeah you got the the job I think. I'll fons more deserving GIAMBI for sure yeah job was involved with the steroids clean funds with like. I didn't realize how many home runs all. Oh father hidden history is like four thirteen. The thing about Geeder too. It's like people are like maybe we had younger guys coming up like to be a better a shortstop and him and everything then. Why do we trade for shortstop when he left right? That was a Lotta People's point like he probably held out. We had definitely better prospects. Come up shortstops when he was there. We'll fuck it. Obviously not what it used. Yeah this is a stupid argument. Also I love this status from Katie Sharp. She said how this is a long longlist. The people who have done this three thousand two hundred fifty homers three hundred fifty stolen bases thirteen hundred. RBI career named the people on that list. Derek jeter. It's only guy only ever do that. That guy's not at all. I mean it. Is You know you could say arbitrary cut offs or whatever but those are legit statistics and numbers. There's only five people baseball more. Hit SNUKA only five this stupid people fucking insane I will shout out. Does I found it funny because people are just so stupid out there but the amount yeah people were yesterday but like we found the voter we got him. And it's just white socks good for Dave. Yeah that was good. That was that was a good job there. I I enjoyed. That didn't Piss me off at all like people were just so stupid out there. They actually think white sox. Dave voted for Paul Arco. There was like blowback. You Sucks Dave has hall. It's crazy as we're blue checked reporters that were like. Oh yeah calling is a radio someone someone a whole radio segment of a guy going on Jay Williams guy like and it is it is a great ne- like that would be for somebody that left dirtier off the Alec Dave Williams of Chicago like leaves. Derek jeter office and it gives people more reason to hate us and it's like a funny like one things catch wind and twitter. You just get caught up in it sometimes radio and they're like oh Dave Williams Paul Connor go. Oh my God as well. That was a good troll people. Send Me Dan Shaughnessy. He's ballot allitt. And I was like Steve Over jeeter like the only person who voted for for GOP. Read this ballot like he's the only literally next jeeter I'm like. What am I missing here? Oh I didn't see that I was like this is a fucking easy test. When you gave the gave out a test? You've fucked up yours. Had to do one check Derek. I'm glad for Liar. Walk a good for him. He's getting I am no credit for this. Like no one is paying attention to Larry Walker getting. I was very nice. Yeah more people are just happy for like jeter. Derek jeter hitting griffey junior career. He had a better three. Larry Walker you know like I'm honest. I say the name Larisa. The locker got it dirty or wasn't going to be unanimous tonight at least wanted it to be his week. I want to be the only guy from the ballot together. I'M NOT THAT VILLAINOUS I. I was very for organic. He was unanimous than fine put. Who put every Tom Dick? and Larry and no pun intended or Harry. Whatever yeah I I? So this layer walk Larry Walker. Dr Larry Walker tweeted this yesterday. I felt so say reading. Although I believe I'm GonNa come a little short today. I just want to thank all you who've been pulling for me and showing your Sport.

"We saw tall opinions Derek. Jeter Marcello Zona headed to the Atlanta braves. Great Move Louise role host the newest manager of the New York mets our. I think that's a great move and all moves look great. I guess in the month of January but what I really do like the ad I think. He's a solid player with a good OPI- S GONNA fit well On that lineup won't have to start every game. Play one hundred thirty thirty two hundred fifty and I love Ross. Because I think he's the perfect balance for what you need in a modern manager. He has youth yet he has experienced. He understands stands major league locker rooms yetis connected analytics. He's the perfect combination of old school. New School that I think is going to be the modern manager moving forward in Major League baseball but I want to talk about the Houston astras. Obviously Jose altuve Bay Alex Bregman to headlining players of this entire cheating scandal. Were there buzzers underneath the jerseys. Probably not but maybe I. There were certainly video monitors in the dugout. Managers got fired fines. Laid Down Round draft picks taking away largest scandal in major league baseball since the steroid era since that was tried in front of the United States. Government it's been a mess for the Houston Astros. It's been a mess for Major League Baseball on the last show. I talked about how I didn't think this was much of an advantage for the Houston. Astros throws this cheating scandal and how I think they probably would have won the world series without I understand why people are upset. And it's something that shouldn't be done. I just think that is something that is pervasive throughout Major League baseball and needs cleaned up by major league baseball. And I don't necessarily fault all these teams and I'm certainly not gonNA fault. Alex Bregman admit or Jose Altuve for trying to gain advantage for trying to be better players. That's what makes them great players. They're always looking for the best way to get better right wide. Is Tom Brady. Why does Tom Brady care? So much about the PSI of football. We remember deflategate has to be between twelve PSI or fourteen PSI. But Tom Really really liked it at eleven point five the reason he really liked it. Eleven point five is because he had dedication to every single detail of his game and he knew he wanted eleven point. Five that dedication detail goes into film. Study goes into practice goes into diet because nutrition. It's like the poison of being great. You're so focused on being great that you'll even break the rules to be great but breaking the rules and getting every advantage you can't as that attitude is probably what made them great to begin with again. It's not an excuse for cheating. It's not something that should be done. You should play within the rules but these leagues have to do a better job of enforcing these rules to keep these. He's all tra- competitive people inside their rules. So that only the competitiveness. It's only reflected in their work ethic in their film study in their body preparation and their diet instead of. Oh we need to find a video monitor. We need to find a way around this. We need to find away to cheat better. I think that that's where the focus needs to lie. He's alive more in the league. Instead of these individual players because these individual players are trying to feed their family or trying to to get every advantage and I was at that point I was ready to just say. Hey Alex Hey Jose you know your great players. You're still going to be great players. You didn't need to do that. I don't think to be successful. You'll you'll see that this year when you won't have it because Major League Baseball's cracked down on it and they'll be very very very aware of it and everybody will be looking for it and I think you'll still be great. I think Astros will still win the Al West. And I think Jose altuve Alex Bregman will still be great players. But you get get a little upset at them when you hear Bregman come out with the. I plead the fifth five times when he's asked about the cheating scandal and Jose Altuve may says nothing but oh we'll be back in the world series this year. We'll be back in the world series this year. I don't know what Public Relations Manager for. The Astros told them not to apologize. But I think you should have. You've you've already been punished. It's already been shown that it is true. What happened at least in some way? You don't even have to go into details and apologize for anything specific diffic- you don't even have to admit your own fault. You can even say I'm sorry for the way this played out I apologize. I don't even know there's definitely a better way to say it. But the word apology the word. I'm sorry the word I wish we would have done better. I wish we would have known better earlier than to do what we did. And then add in but eleven other teams were doing it. We didn't need it. Anything like that would have been suffice. Because you're not on trial the trials over you've lost you cheated. You got caught. You need to do apologize and hearing Alex Bregman plead the fifth five straight times. Five different questions you just like. Do you guys think you didn't cheat. Do you think that you're still on trial. Do you want to try to spin this. In some way it just felt really dishonest. Felt really out of place for two great guys and great players guys who positively influenced the Houston community and major elite baseball immensely since they've joined since the Astros have started all this success through to two thousand seventeen and beyond but thankfully the the Houston Astros Organization said that when Spring Training commences the players will get together and will issue an apology. So maybe this was a directive from the Houston Astros. Hey don't apologize Asia we're GONNA come up with the statement we'll figure out the best way to present this just a bad headline for the Houston Astros the inability to apologize in that moment from their star players. There's just it's a nitpicky thing right. I it's something that when you get caught doing something and you are one hundred percent cod. You're dead to rights. The trial is over right. If you rob a liquor store and at the end of it all you're caught you're on video. It's their skin apology. The judge edged. Maybe yeah probably should've done when I did. I know I made mistakes. I'll I'll I'll serve the time I did the crime but you know. I wish I would have done better we apology. He is apologies. Don't matter in terms of reality. Apologies never really changed. Anything that happened never really changed the consequences for something that happened. Never really change. What you did doesn't make it less impactful? But they do matter to human emotion to how you feel how you perceive something you know I it gives you a better taste in your mouth and the Astros right now. Need to be feeding people. Candy in terms of the taste in their mouths They need to be walking the line and trying to win this. Pr Battling showed that they're good dudes because they are good dudes to show that they do have integrity. They are great baseball players and they love the game of baseball they were just trying to get an edge in a way that people have been trying to get an edge for fifty years. There's so many great players and great managers who have been respected throughout time. Who certainly cheated? Who just never got caught? And that's okay. It's not okay you cheated needed. It's okay you got caught. Just apologize for it and maybe we can move on. And hopefully they'll have a really succinct apology at the end of spring training. I think think that's why a lot of baseball wants to see because we'd all like to move on from this. I I really don't want to be talking about this April and if this apology doesn't go well at the beginning a spring training. It's something that will be talked about throughout April and I'm hopefully hopefully Houston. Starts this season hot because if they start the season twelve and twenty boy Oy oh boy we're going to be hearing about it and it's something that's probably not good for the game baseball that'll do it for our show We appreciate you so much for listening. Give us on twitter at GMC underscore baseball and remember coaches players. People involved in youth sports in baseball. Look Derek jeter look at him as the example of how to play this game and understand that this game is not necessarily about being a great athlete being smooth breath looking good wearing.

"Chances Are you're going to get to seventy twenty five percent and he's got two years to do it. I think he'll do it next year but if he doesn't I think he'll do it the year after that so I think eventually before along we'll be talking about curt schilling as a hall of fame pitcher. Just go look at those down and had seasons in Philadelphia and Arizona. Just go look at that. Career record walks and strikeouts pretty impressive stuff before we get to bonds and clemens. I want to ask you about other candidates who saw the percentages jump. Did anybody jump out at you. While the Scott Rolen jump was significant. I voted for Scott Rolen this year because I had room for Scott Rolen role of this year For me buster. Again very subjective Brooks Robinson knowing Aaron auto has got role in those of the three best defensive third baseman. I've ever ever seen and the fact that The advanced metrics place him for some at least as one of the five best third baseman ever. I'm not going that high I I think he's all of Famer and I think His first real shot at this where the ballot was completely clogged. He made a really nice job. And I think he's one of those guys that's GonNa continue to go up each year much like Larry Walker did to go from basically fifteen percent to seventy six percent during that time so tim when we've had this conversation about bonds and clemens in recent years you and I've I've kind of disagreed on this. You felt that eventually there would be a softening among voters and these guys as we get in. And I'm I'm more cynical than you are. Let's I think everybody listed the podcast knows that you're a nicer person. I am and I watched the voting trends on and these guys in the last couple of years. They are not moving Tim. Roger Clemens yesterday sixty one percent barry bonds sixty point seven percent. It's like a mount Everest for them to overcome to get those last fifteen percent to actually be voted in. I think it's pretty clear that there's a core thirty five to forty percent of voters who are saying we are not letting these guys in at any point. I don't get it. Do you still think there'll be a softening with these two guys. No I'm on uh I'm on your side now here buster. In this respect the last two years I expected a spike for those two guys especially this year when it wasn't a great ballot for first timers. Other than of course there and he got a negligible bump and next year is also not a a great year for first timers. But I think you're right. I think the the anti PD guys have dug in and said I don't care what else is going audio. They are not getting our vote and fifteen percent. Buster in two years is a huge jump. They haven't gotten a fifteen percent jumping a two a year span as far as I can tell and with that baggage included. I think they're going to go through ten years on the ballot and not make it to the hall of fame on the Writers' ballots. I feel like Tim. I like if in two years. These guys don't get it. I think it'd be silly. It would be unbelievably silly when you think about. Let's face it the reality that certainly someone has already made a speech at the Cooperstown who use. PD's at some point right and the context text of their era was just saturated with PD's and it feels like these two guys are basically being singled out by this chunk voters. Yes in a way. That's completely out of context knowing that thousands of players did this stuff minor leaguers major leaguers. And the only reason why they were the two best ask guys well again buster. This is why I vote for those two guys out of that but me there was this tacit agreement. Going going around back then that nobody's checking. Nobody's testing everyone's doing this. And you're not gonNA get caught doing this so go ahead. The guys on the other teams in doing it pitchers are doing it. Everyone's doing it or a lot of people are doing it. So that Sam in a slightly different category to me then a-rod automating Ramirez. Who did this while testing was going on and I'll penalties being handed out so yes I still think though that these guys are dug the in on bonds and clemens and yes there's been a softening up twenty four percent for the first time they got on but they still have a long way to go? Oh from here. Do you think what kind of paths do. You think it'd be for bonds and clemens if they don't get voted in by the writers and they would have to rely on the Veterans Committee. Well I think it's really hard to get seventy five percent of the vote but my guess is they will have a harder time getting in through a special chill committee than they will with the writers. I've been in those rooms before and there are some people in those rooms who feel like the hall. All is the most special place and only the best players and the best people get in so my guess is they have a better shot with the writers her than they would with a special committee all right before we go. I want to ask you about some other issues around baseball. Other things going on there was so much shocked him from the executives actives and officials that I spoke with on Monday with other teams after Astros players in particular Alex Bregman Jose Altuve met with reporters over the weekend because they think officials mother teams anticipated the Astros players at some point. Somebody's GonNa Apologize. Hey we're sorry. It was a distraction yet. When we look back on it we I wish it played out differently with a sign stealing and there was no words there were no words of contrition? There was no apology and I got back from from a lot of folks with other teams was what are they doing. Why can't they could? They could've anticipated those questions and answer them differently. What were your thoughts? Yeah the the people I talked to in the game. Buster said the same thing. They were really disappointed in the reaction of the Astros players. Who aren't being punished for this in the least they could do is show some contrition? COUPLA people told me this is the astros arrogance on display again. But as you know Jim Crane who is upset by this and embarrassed by this as he should be came out last night and said all right. We're going to address this spring training. The players lawyers are going to apologize. We're GONNA have a team meeting and get out there in front of the media and we're GonNa do this right But Buster that has to happen somebody has ask show some contrition here otherwise these questions are going to be asked. Every day moving forward they might as well at least try to get some of it out out of the way where they mass press conference not reading from the statement like Alex. I tell you what that all said. I do feel like that. It was in there is as with clemens and bonds almost an undue burden being put onto players l.. Tubay Bregman to answer for the rest of them like I think of Alex. bregman context in two thousand seventeen. He's a rookie. Just called up. There was already a system in place with science Stanley. And the idea that Alex Bregman would step up and say guys. This just isn't gonNA work. This is not ethical. That's unrealistic. I think for anybody to expect a rookie player would do that or any individual. Will you do wish that there had been a collective conversation among the players and saying boy. There's a lot at stake here a lot of risk right. Well you're right buster. Of course it's an Alex Bregman problem. This is Jose Altuve as promising entire. Team's probably anyone who was there at the time or anyone who's had anything to do with it and that's why Jim Crane said he's going to get everyone together and Glee in his mind. Make a formal apology and offer an explanation. And then hopefully okay. We can all start to move forward on this issue. All right. Let's talk about the managerial selections. That are going on the mets. The Red Sox astros looking for managers. You know the name. I've been watching all along as buck. SHOWALTER I can't figure out. Why isn't that managing the big leagues now? And I gotta believe that one of these teams could find room for him. I think he's at perfect perfect fit for the Astros which is eighteen prepared to win in two thousand twenty and it makes sense to me and it makes sense for the on the mets as well that you would want an experienced manager what do you think. Yes and Buck showalter was the first vantage or to interview with the Astros. He drove from Dallas to Houston and met met directly with Jim Crane and had a very honest discussion with him into me. A veteran manager is crucial. Here a guy who knows about a crisis management buck show all been through. An awful lot is career. He's GonNa know how to deal with this issue. So as Dusty Baker Eduardo Perez interviewed interview last night and I think it went really well from what I can tell but I think you really really need to look at Buck showalter and say we need you to come in here with your discipline and with your experience and with your wisdom as a manager and start to turn in the right direction. Crisis Management is critical. Now now buck is really good at that dusty. would be really good at that too. Three more for you. Three Questions Nolan are not oh is not happy. We got more context attack on that yesterday or over the weekend when he made it clear that he felt disrespected. And he's made it clear through the athletic and interview. He did head with Nick was. It's not that his name was out there and trade talks. I is the reason why he feels disrespected. I think it feels disrespected because he reached an agreement agreement with the team last year on this big massive long-term deal two hundred sixty million dollars under the assumption. That team is going to work to get better and he feels like that. The team team has an honored that I understand that sentiment. I gotta say I have a little bit of a hard time on Arnott's part of it because if I'm a team and I commit two hundred and sixty million dollars with the player I don't want less than a year later for the player to be coming out and ripping the team. What do you think well you're right? They're both both sides of this. Aeronautics got his money got a long-term and he and he's got an opt-out so he shouldn't be saying anything like I'm upset with the team. And yet he should be upset with the 'cause they played so poorly last year and because they haven't done now so far to really start to move things is war but in the end it comes. Some of it comes back in our in auto. If you really want to win long term..
