"The last minute was partially alleviated. When she realized Derek's choice of seat men, she could question him without interruption the entire drive. Finally. Derek. Said under his breath as the van pulled up to the far end of the mile and a half long lake and stopped. They piled out single file and stood next to each other taking it all in. Derek, you are right that water really is being. Korean Jane Marveled at the almost bubblegum colored water. Why. Is it like that? Bees you asked. The mineral deposit attract a certain type of bacteria which in turn affects the color of the water. Derek explain. Noting the men toiling away in the Water Irish Jane asked. What are they doing out here? These guys make a living mining the salt from the bottom of the lake they sell it to various companies, but a lot of it ends up in. France. They watch tall dark and wiry Senegalese collectors engaged in various stages of the mining process either standing chest deep in the lake, just outside their boats chipping at the mineral deposit with a long metal rod or steering their both on and off shore and adding crystals to already form triangular shaped piles. Many of those piles stood about ten feet high. The entire process would have appeared more oppressive if not for the sheer beauty of the lake. However, it was hard to ignore the heat. How can these guys do this all day Derek heard Paul Ask They don't really have a choice. He answered without turning to face Paul. Unless you want to open starbucks out here. Derek stepped away from the others and snap photos of the lake. As the others watched the collectors work for roughly five minutes before their entire Raj was surrounded. He stopped shooting long enough to observe pop and Mamadou Fain shooing the south collectors away only to still let one of them talked to Paul in Irish. Jane. Convinced that this was yet another con Derek turned his back to the lake and began taking pictures of the piles of salt and the handful of Ben who I continued to work despite the presence of the Americans. Pictures that's what he needed to concentrate on. Unfortunately, is companions had other ideas. Hey. So they're offering boat rides across the Lake Paul said over Derek shoulder as Derek stop taking pictures in order to change to a Wider Angle Lens. Only five safer. Would you think? Derek's lips curled and he raise an eyebrow as to lend snapped into place. Dude, I'm old school. New York. So I'm hip to the scam where they tell you that boat trip is only five dollars until you get out to the middle but lake then homeboy Jackson price up another twenty bucks to take you back. But please don't base your decision on my cynicism. Do you Bro Derek turn back to taking his pictures. He overheard as Paul side conveyed an abridged version of what he had said to everyone else. Then slowly lead the groups to the boats. Why asked me if you're not gonNA heat anything I fucking said. He have chuckled as he framed up another photo move left and bumped into someone. He was about to apologize when he looked down and realized that it was. Bijou. I'm sticking with you. She announced. Lovely. He said. Do you want me to take some pictures of you. You could put it on the Graham. No. You're not having a lot of fun. Are you? Fun Wasn't the goal Bijou I'm working. Out It's slightly as Derek, looked over his shoulder to see that three boats had gone out. Nico. Paul and Jose and piled into one all the while questioning the man rowing over the safety of all of them being in the boat. The Jane's were in a second man's vote while the third saw collectors boat was occupied by Cynthia and her side Bo. Mamadou. Hop had been left behind and didn't look very happy about it Derek chalked it up to jealousy and turn back to his picture taking. When the attacks started Derek had been facing the piles of salt otherwise, he might have had the chance to photograph the long green snake like protrusion as a raised of nearly thirty feet in the air. Then came down hard enough to cleave the Cynthia Mama to float into pieces. Only. The boat's owner had managed to jump clear. While the lovebirds appeared lost in the froth in wake created by the tremendous splashdown. The Jane Bobbing helplessly in their boat a few feet away from floating chunks of bloodied would screamed and help each other as their roared jumped out of his boat and swam away. Hall and the others panic stricken fell out of their boat terrified and taking in mouthfuls of salty water. They noticed that the area near what was left of Cynthia's vessel had gone from pink to red. Seeming, content to leave the screaming Jane's to their fate, the men swam hard as they could in the other direction. They would find their escape hindered as the water itself seemed to push against them, keeping them in the lake and forcing them to tread water. As everyone on the shoreline, stop what they were doing. Derek ran to one of the cell collectors. There's a frigging giant octopus in there and you jackals charging rides. Pop appeared behind him. That's not an octopus. Well, what the hell without finishing the question Derek turned in realized that what he had been looking at wasn't a giant tentacle but the body of a bee's. It raised up straight out of the water again over three stories in height as it pivoted toward the Jane's he saw the dark green pugh eleven I that opened linked at the top end of it. That was all there was to the creatures face no mouth or nose just a single is at the end of a long Reptilian, body. The things eyelashes were black and the length of grown man's forearm. They ooh, the gelatinous substance. True View Dare not give me trip you. A voice seemed to call out from nowhere. Every think you have a value leave it in the water. The creature floated closer to the James Oh we have some loose cares. Korean Jane Men is to shout. Out, to the water. The voice cried. The Jane's empty their pockets of all their money through the paper and coins in the water. Then grabbed a metal rod left by the owner in the boat to push themselves away from the creature..

"We learned that David created the pack, but I don't think Dream Boat and the gargoyles new still ex Bush talking to I think Owen so I think this is the first time they're learning this information, but we as the viewer knew this already, but it only brings up more questions. Because what does she mean by that? She means that they were six individuals, and then he hired them individually were they a pack of mercenaries that he made into famous TV stars. What does? Does this mean because they already had the weird animal theme Fox has the I thing. Yes, did he make her do that Oh God? It's a tattoo. None of birth market. He hold her down and tattooed her face. Well the thing that boggles my Bryan even more than all of that is. He planned all of this, so he planned for the diamond to be stolen from him, and then planned his own assassination, and we don't really know why we do is. He wants Deir Al Right? It was all it was all up what I mean. Why does he want? Derek is deluxe trying to do some weird seduction. Thing is deluxe, trying to make Derek his new Owen, are they? Trying to make Derek completely reliant on deluxe for you. Know love as many. I think it's a big ploy to piss off dream Bose's bucket with drinks I think he's fine with dream. Bow Like I think he's literally doing this because he likes making angry and he knows that Dream Boat can't actually get him on anything you know what he could do. He could go to the top of the Police Tower at eleven am with a sledgehammer. Sledgehammer he doesn't know there. I'm sorry he knows so fucking much now. He has to put together this ridiculous convoluted plan. He doesn't know what the fucking gargoyles are. I do not believe that because Fox's like You don't even understand how many steps ahead he is from you'll. She works in the same building that she put the fucking gargoyles and he doesn't know that. I refuse to believe that he didn't accidentally find. That was a big open space above her place of work. Maybe I should check their. Oh, there are weird. Statues were there weren't. So that conversation ends yeah, and Dream Boat Leaves yes. She pulls out her little cassette recorder. Phone and plays a little blip, so we can hear that she'd been recording. Fox The whole time God! That'd be so embarrassing if she forgot to record when she went. Just, fart sounds from when she was in the car or just thinking you would like. She also uses the dictate her diary and like. Goliath took. Date last night and it was wonderful. And she's like Oh. She's working on Sin Erotic. Literature. As. She doesn't realize that she didn't actually record. There's enhance ought to her brother. Office I. Mean you're writing could use some more. Do you think that Fox. Is that was going to happen. Do you think that she told all of that? To Dream, boat knowing that Dream Boat would record that or deluxe new told Fox that. Going to record if anything, it would definitely be deluxe being like all right Fox. Go ahead and tell her everything, and it would make sense that he would do that because he assumes she would think she's being sneaky. Yeah was I. don't I don't actually know how this scene ended? Because when I heard that deluxe is probably at Xanadu, his upstate retreat I started. Cracking up, it was so stupid. I literally was like fuck you over whatever was happening in the rest of the scene. I was like a foghorn of fuck you. Upstate retreat called ZANU. Did. This was that it was pretty much. I literally stopped paying attention when xanadu happened. Because my next note is about Lexington uh-huh, yeah I want to go to there. We are back in the sky, and Lexington is flying. A helicopter suddenly knows how to fly it because he didn't the day before he played video games. Yeah, in between fixing the helicopter fucking. Fix this thing. He rebuilt it. He rebuilt a added onto it. He added. Added Armor. Broadway has the fucking audacity to call a junk pile. Yes, you wonder why. Everyone hates you or do you pretty much? have it figured out dude? Everyone always shits on you and Causey. Big, fat, boy, little pig, man, you fucking wonder why Lexington literally did the impossible of course could Lexington I mean he does machines. He's the show's. Donatello so from here. We moved Xanada, fire all. Because you know any rich person who lives in New York has to have their summer house in the Hamptons, or they're. They're upstate. Retreat called Xanadu so at this point deluxe and Are Strolling through their woods. One eight say romantically. Date Walk through the park type situation and the twins move at. Some cool matching twins stealth gear. What were they doing the whole time? Do you think there's no passage of time? Maybe this is mere hours after we saw them. Get that phone call. We don't fucking now. They're just waiting. A little picnic as this date is going very well, deluxe compliments Derek on his impressive flying last night, and the smoothly slips arm over Derek shoulder and I. Don't know if you noticed during this episode, but I could feel a cold breeze picks up and the to snuggle up for warmth, because they're outside and Derek field deluxe muscular chest through his jacket and I think I slipped in the writings slash vic. I'm GonNa need you to continue that I just. It was the most warmth. Derek had felt an A. longtime emotionally physically, Derek. We can find you love elsewhere. We promise in his pants, grew two sizes too small and the criterion. I don't know how to do this. Oh. It's so good. Thank you anyway. The twins attack and they start shooting. And, then a really really bright light appears, and they're blinded. is you are forgetting the fact that the twins shot a street lamp that was in the middle of the woods in upstate new. York Xanadu is retreat of or whatever it's deluxe can't be bothered to carry a flashlight when he wants to take romantic strolls his forest, so he has street lights installed in the woods in upstate. New York yes, Okie Doke, so you were saying something about the light because. The helicopter shows. That's what the light is yeah okay. Okay all right. I'm back on board, so.

"Minneapolis now brief court hearing today for the former Minneapolis police officer charged with second degree murder in the death of George Florida high bail we are joined by A. B. C.'s Ryan borrow at very short appearance for right Derek shopping but to a very high bail to yeah one point two five million dollar on conditional bail now there are conditions to knock that down to one million dollars bail including E. S. to surrender his firearms he has to be actively supervised you can't leave the state without permission as if he's able to pay the bail which at this point it doesn't appear as though that's going to be happening any time soon ski actually appear from about twenty five miles away from Minneapolis from the state prison where he's being held maximum security state prison he appeared via tele length and he is under suicide watch there his attorney did not speak after the proceedings today you know the attorneys for the other three officers who have been charged in this case to come out and speak after their appearances last week but that we didn't hear anything so we don't know how he's planning to move forward with any kind of defense in this case he made a few answers to some questions pretty simple questions the one thing that we got out of it was we did find out that the attorney general's been calling him shot of it and he said his name is Sheldon so I guess we'll be moving forward with the name children for the rest of the time but beyond that that we didn't we didn't get a ton of information about him in the case always so always good to have correct not CH I guess not children's next appearance for court end of June end of this month but per per a process there yeah yeah we don't we don't exactly know if he's going to enter a plea and at that point he didn't have to this time around you know this is probably something that's going to take a long time to work through the court system because see Attorney General has stated as such it's going to be difficult as they try to figure out where the best place to convene a jury will be at knowing what we know that's occurred in the last two months I mean clearly or two weeks I should say clearly a lot of people very aware of this case who he is and his involvement so trying to get a fair trial out of this may be a challenge police all across the country under under the microscope here but no more than in Minneapolis where the city council is proposing disbanding that police department that it's gotten some mixed reaction including from the the mayor of the city yet to end policing as we know it according to the city council they want to recreate systems of public safety that actually keep us safe they call the current system failed they say the police force relationship with this city is toxic they want to and it's now what that would look like they haven't necessarily revealed at this point and they may not know you know to completely and the system if you were to witness something or have something occurred to you when you picked up nine one one who would respond but they feel like there are other systems in public safety that could be bolstered to make this happen the could be a little bit of an experimental city I suppose from that perspective but no the mayor is not for abolishing the police department the only thing is is right now the numbers are in favor of the city council completely abolishing it nine out of the twelve members so they could over run any veto that's perhaps the mayor would have if indeed they move forward with this all right ABC's Ryan burl covering the goings on in Minneapolis and again Shah officer Derek shoulder he was fired of course a former officer children was it during a hearing today eleven minute hearing ordered held on very high bail will of course continue to update this story on Capitol Hill there are Democrats taking a knee remembering George Floyd before they propose some big changes for police group of democratic lawmakers gathered in emancipation hall at the U. S. capitol today to hold a moment of silence to honor George Floyd amid the widespread protest thing going on in wake of Floyd's death in Minneapolis the collective of democratic congressmen and women introduced a sweeping police misconduct legislation shortly after the moment of silence your Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer itself so.

"Good luck to all of you beautiful beautiful earth box let's talk to Susan the earth box guru good morning Susan. Hey good morning back how are you today I am doing wonderful I heard you had a fantastic class last week over at shells feeding guards by talking about the earth box. it was wonderful it was yesterday afternoon yesterday all my gosh is just. yeah yeah yeah then we have thirteen people come out and they were selling off the shelves they were there now and official distributor by the way is shallow and the only one in the Tampa Bay area and that's fantastic there was one man bought all boxes and he also bought two is the real boxes to so yeah it was a great ten now I do a ninety minute presentation I cover all the basics. lots of tips people make note and they're happy as clams and they go out by the boxes. dead and then leave them there on the way we just need a little. this thing that you could hope for right because you know you you teach somebody to garden they'll feed themselves for a lifetime you know if you go to the grocery store at you people missed the boat you know when that when you're buying something out of the grocery store you know it's the it's pre pared it's all done they don't understand what how that for me to be and you know you you kind of take it as us is how you get food to the grocery store but I grows it now they don't grow it it's grown it's. you got a girl years some of the some things your own because the the best tomato you're ever going to have is the one that you grow in your owner's box right outside your own window the the best peppers or or anything that that you want it you know now will you always have success now that's part of gardening you know if everybody won the lottery it wouldn't be fun anymore right. I think it would be okay. yeah yeah very is everybody won the lottery you want a Buck a piece now come on yeah okay yeah yeah. the first one. Eddie the key was to win the lottery now. don't we all yeah. the thing is is that it's it's it's the trial and error and being able to try new things each year because I always suggest don't just don't just limit yourself to one thing or another always add one or two things every year just to try and if they don't do any well any good for you Hey that's okay that's that's part of the that's part of your experience. very few things actually personally that I can't grow I have a problem with Brussel sprouts for some reason maybe they don't like me. the the other boxes really seem to be a no fail for them you can over water. underwater them you know that's the most common thing people ask about sure as long as you give them that required six to eight hours the full sunshine I I'm in the lady yesterday she's trying to grow in the shade on the porch and it's not going to work you know they need the sunshine to grow just like old plans the most plans that's true but they're real no fail system and I know a lot of people have tried to do the knock offs of these and make their own but there's nothing like the real box there's there's there's not I got fifteen of them and I agree with what you said daily trying different you know vegetables and growing different things than them and something produce more than others. and I love the tomatoes I mean gosh I can I'm a gather the courage not just vegetable gab about flower gagnant though I love to go out in the garden and I will I'll walk finest box you get. flood covered as you may know them pop in my mouth the teen was so the great I'm totally in love with these things that was the plan with mine just yesterday got some new soil for that and I like the happy frog Doyle of you tried that but have no I hate myself I have and I've got to mix I've been using for years and I'm kind of sticking with that particular mix but Hey there is a lot of good so I was out there. yeah I know I don't blame you my neighbor that that too thank you apparently every week and I know she's listening right now merry Joe Clark she was the one that actually got me into gab land and she turned me on to a a soil call Lambert. and it was fantastic I used to buy a home depot and Walmart and now it's no longer active I think it's either sold or and it it so I just recently switched to the happy frog that good yeah because certain soils may hold a little bit too much water and you don't and and generally speaking the I always worry about the words soil in my mix that goes into the boxes because I like to see hiding I like the C. potting mix. yes yeah because of that yeah I talk about in the presentation because I know that people are going to go to a garden center this the part in may when they see soil and soil is always the doll unless you know that this count right yeah I did cover that yesterday and I always do touch on the idea of you know side note makes our cover everything and I tell them if they get the soil it will and basically it's a month because the makes grains and you don't deal with group rotten other problems where losses sterilize you don't have to worry about all those weed seeds germinating after you get him in there I know. absolutely so what are your growing now I'm here all my gosh. you know at my shop if I have I have probably over thirty different varieties of tomatoes. there were there were growing justice tomatoes and and peppers no cry and oh my gosh I've got I've got a. what's your favorite tomatoes tomatoes are always been my favorite thing the one which we all my gosh I I will I like some of the exotic the heirlooms the Cherokees I'll I like I like some of these with some called the black crew they're they're just different you know there's a purple that I like to do that I just don't remember the name some of us they're just different some of the yellows I liked him intermingle them so I have different colors I think color I think color is a is a big good thing for me in the garden because I don't want to just see AJ green out there I want to see something different so I love seeing those those Brandywine tomatoes as well with those Derek shoulders on them I like seeing all these different things including some of the at the old standard grads and course he'll cherry tomatoes and things like still grow all those too but all my gosh some it is so much stuff we we really we really do squash and zucchini and my guys I've got we got loose has grown a fence right now cucumber oh yeah cucumbers we. group the loop that he we have a another house in the backyard he grew the loop as it was fascinating to see the full process yeah yeah the just like some big exotic luck and well some people you know a lot of times we have easy but the combined the try to yank him off and. they're big you know you can yeah. is there is gonna be great I'm taking this home you know this is a keen now if that is the key. yesterday at shelves where I was telling her that you had the original seven men box I mean wow what a what a start date back that was back that was back in the day from Blake within that when he came when he first introduced the earth box to us right here on WFLA and Gil Whitten and myself both were in here and we went out to his farm and his whole farm was all done and you know out in Ellington and that's all he had was the concrete boxes at the time so that was that was pre everything else they were coming out with this new fangled plastic thing and we're going to make a shorter but didn't know how wide row longer they had a fit between the rows so we he went through major progression with the product and came up with the first of the earth boxes which I'm still using I'm still using some. do you have any of the original no the concrete enough they're gonna. all that on yeah I know I Asia I at me to go to yes hi this is Susan I gotta go up again I'm up against a break but stop by shells being garden supply next week and you're doing a program on Saturday right. where do we want on October the fifth October fifth yes. this is the next twelve thirty at the ninety minute presentation and fifteen dollars and it's twenty dollars on the day off so they need to register early call sells all from amounts to do it and there's a lot to learn and they do give away Korea box all my gosh another for years facts they give away box and we set it up in the demo one so they not only get the S. books because the soil is all in place and they just pick the feelings are cities and they're on their way to their first experience the growing their own vegetables in the back yeah absolutely wonderful Susan I gotta run you know that love talking to you. all right..

"She's a stand up comedian. I thought she's gotta do it. So I knew she gave Fazila who's the guy that comes up to Jackson and the and the and the cop are it was my classmate in grad school, and he was the best actor, and I was like we actually did place beyond the pies. Ramon. No, no. The guy who comes up Jackson says I wanna. Take a photograph like the guy that and then Derek guy was Etta James was in grad school with. And he always had these incredible physique. And when I was thinking about those shots, I want Derek shoulders. Maybe I should ask Derek to come do it. And I explained the know this is crazy. No, you've never done drag. But I want you to sing Etta James. I'm gonna shoot it like this. I want you to do this with your hands. So you know, Charlie's my dog. You know, I my ear. Doctor is the doctor in the movie. Half the cruise in the movie, Mattie. Liberty is the photographer of her? I guess that comes from the joy of being able to shoot people that I've loved over the Ron Rifkin. I did Elliot's with I've known him for twenty years, and I love our relationship are real relationship and we've been through so much together. I thought we could just we could just crust that he has to be the guy in rehab and also because of the hearing aids Greg Grunberg driver, I did alias with. So but just like I got to use all this twenty years as an actor being in this business to start to cherry cherry pick people and ask them to be in the movie. We're there any people who actually Anthony Ramos. I did not know he was the only person that I saw on tape and tape did you I didn't. Because I I just it's all it's like illeg Zan in that great autobiography life talked about what he would do is invite them over and go for a walk around the block. I that's what I subscribe to. It's like it's all about quality. Right. And that's the only thing, you know, people say like, oh, you didn't get the role because you don't have the quality. It's really true you can crush this. You can kill it. But if you don't have that quality that the directors looking for it doesn't match. Matter and I don't think that always comes through when you're acting in a scene in addition. It's all about I'm looking at you right now. Can I see you? Are you present? Can I see your soul? Do you have this? I want to shoot you. And is this going to the camera? And is this is this is this something that there's a connection and that only comes from having a conversation. And that's what it was lady Gaga. I heard her saying and blew me away. And then I met her house and just talking to or within ten minutes. Obviously, I want us to sing together to make sure that you know, it wasn't a bomb in what I was doing with her. But it was just that quality. We were talking about earlier you go on faith. You know, same Dave Chapelle. Like I met him in London. I was doing the alpha man, we had this incredible eight our conversation. And I thought oh this is perfect that he he would be perfect for noodles just everything that noodles has gone through and what Dave has gone through. And there's that's similarity that he could really speak from a deep deep place. So yes that was married renewed an incredible job. But I'm sure I was. Paying because I was like no it's going to be Jake marine that I did sniper with is going to play your manager. Well, you can't do children. There's a wonderful scene with Dave Chapelle where that's that's his daughter. Dave's bells daughter, and that's Drina deniro, son. Leo. So I just asked them to bring their real kids because then they don't have to fake it. Also, there's a there's a style of performance in your movie that has in strange way and improvisational feel as well. It may not have been, but it has that feel of people actually in conversation, even overlapping dialogue, and I'm curious because did that because you know, these people and control that process or how did that evolve for you?.

"Schools the network structure is in statute, and it's approved by the Colorado education itself. So the CD board can uphold that decision by boulder or they can remand it until older to approve the school and give them thirty days to negotiate a contract. And and frankly, it's we'll have to see if that does happen would boulder suddenly be willing to come to the table and do an honest, good faith contract negotiation. What can listeners who may be listening in boulder? Yes. I do have listeners in boulder. It's true. I would it. Would it be worth a phone? Call to the school board just say, hey, what what's the deal here? What are we doing? Why is this not being approved? The thing that gets me about the network thing. It's a successful network. It's network that works its network where you can data mine from other campuses about what's effective, and what's not. Why is that a bad thing? You know, right now, we have a network of traditional public schools, some of which suck you know, to be real. So that to me is a really stupid objection. I'm just saying it's not a bad thing at all that that for us to have a network structure, but keep in mind that what you'll hear the opposition say is that this is an out of state organization. Shady group that we don't know where they're coming from. And it's not local governance. This is we are not out of state. We're we're right here in Colorado. And there are six hundred and fifty kids signed up for this school and flat irons six hundred and fifty kids represented by hundreds of families that want this school. This local these these this isn't us making this up. These are people. These are parents that want something different for the. Their children. And what's funny is it's also my understanding that boulder valley is exploring the options of creating their own classical curriculum school, which is ridiculous. Again, it is ridiculous that the first board hearing on November fifteenth special year, the boulder superintendent said in the hearing itself that he's never heard anybody in boulder valley say they want a class classical option in boulder valley. After turning us down. They've held to listening sessions in cry. They're going to have their own they want to explore having their own classical program. And I turned out that if you want to listen to us, you should have listened to us when you denied us at Costco, academy because we told you that's what we want. Yes. We we had parents reaching out to us after this listening session, the first one, and they told us they told the assistant superintendent there what we want is a replication of golden view, and that's what we want. A watered down version of it. And they ask them very pertinent questions. How would you do this? How would you build the school? How would you hire the classically trained teachers and find it? How would you have a network of this these resources, right? Nobody was able to answer the questions, of course. Of course. Not. So what is so we're just gonna watch here. Is there anything that? Parents can do if this. Here's my thing. The reason I talk about this stuff is I think that school choice is so critical for every parent to have that opportunity to make a choice for your kids. You know, your kids better than anybody else. And maybe a semi classical academy isn't a big deal to you. Maybe you know, it's not right for your kid. That's fine. But do you want to be shoved into a one-size-fits-all system that may not work for your kid? That's all charter school. Parents are saying, and I said at the beginning of the show, I never whatever in a million years would ever tell a parent. You can't send your kid to a neighborhood school. I would never tell another parent. And yet those parents are saying to me you shouldn't be able to send your kids here. And that's crap. I mean, that's. Crap. It's garbage media. What's really another thing? That's just really disappointing as we've come into boulder, and we have committed to serving all kids in the district. We're talking I we've committed serving minority kids kids who are qualified for free. Reduced lunch. You who come from poor families? There are people in boulder saying if you want this program, you should take it into as a private school. Exact which again, it's hard to criticize a charter school saying we're not going to reach out to enough kids who underserve and then demand the school go private because we want to serve these kids actually we've actually agreed upon a weighted lottery. This is a this is a weighted lottery is where you give higher preference right lottery for free and reduced lunch kids. We would we know we we actually had one of the boulder valley school board members say when he toured our school this kind of education classical education where you're doing sentence diagramming and grammar and rigs phonics, this is wonderful for this demographic. Especially English language learners. I think this would be wonderful for our district. So we want to bring those kids in what we're doing everything we can. But they continue to peddle the lies that we're not going to certainly student. That's Derek shoulder and Kim Gilmartin of sent classical academy. You guys can be posted Kimmy posted let this go. I appreciate it. Susan Witkin, what's coming up in the news. The first step is being taken to open up banking to the marijuana industry. "On your doing. My name's Derek Janis Kelly radio production manager from this guy's weather is look and rainy people are calling us all the time tomorrow, great eagle society. We'll be having a meeting. So it's like the phones ordering could be something random as, hey, we're having a fry bread and wuss up he sail over here, and, you know, write those down on areas from the walk bomb district says Kelly, please become a secretary along with all the other things you've got to do here. Back into out there. Contain myself personally, I was fresh out of high school. Probably my mom. She had a late show up here. And it was like a ten to to show, and she was kind of you know, I don't wanna be Keeley radio loan. So you come with me. I said, okay. And we came up here. I drove her to key. Leeann she got quite busy answering the phones and dealing with people. You know, the nighttime scene of key radio. So I happened to catcher dead air. Just went in there and start playing songs topped on radio couple of times. And that started it all up. I mean almost seventeen years Rhone Keeley radio, and it kinda kept me on a trouble being a young mind because here on the reservation life thing, all bananas and apples. There's some there's a few raisins in there. You know, they want you to raise somehow, and it's the choices you make. So I was making bad choices in my life before then running with gangs and whatnot. Key lease Clinton. My savior. One. My name's Denise you got the coolest guy around until we are all done today to Sixers too early afternoon music mix. So that's pretty much where it's all up to the DJ maybe likes to play hip hop. Maybe he's a country N rock person. So it's good when they mix it all up and myself when I'm on the radio, I liked to take requests and things like that. Because we're constantly looking for new sounds, and and it's right here on our reservation. You know, we have music makers we have poetry tellers, and we have rappers we have country, and it's good to be that platform to just put him on the radio and say any given Dave they come up here in one player song for key radio. Then it's I k-. Well, let me clear my schedule for you. And and let's see what you got. And then it becomes the community station than nuts when I mostly enjoyable being here Cutie radio who you wanna turn me onto and put on my radar in terms of like local. Young artists who are out here on the reservation. You know in manderson, there's quite a few Derek shoulders. He goes by slim, slim, Maine, and he's he's been doing this thing for quite some time now, and you know, he puts a lot of effort and energy and time into making this thing. So he's kinda getting real good hop. The speak to anybody who listens to it. Jehad? Star names. Derek twice. I'm for manderson, South Dakota on climate agenda and reservation. Hot native. You know, hip hop big around here. I mean, it's like some of the rappers you hear from her like two reservation. You know? They talk about struggle. You know because the reservation here is a struggle. I mean, we can't tell anybody I mean because no one listened. So we put it in a song and play it. You know, everybody's there listening to it. And it goes it just floats..

"Down on the sidelines bad. You could join us Purdue and Auburn Tigers lead the seven to nothing scored on three place. Just a takeover a minute off the clock. Auburn seven and five on the year. This is a team that was top ten people thought maybe that they could give Alabama run in the SEC west. But boy life did not go their way after beating Washington. The first game of the season and gained three. They lose a lead to LSU than they lose to Mississippi State in October, and they lost at Tennessee at home and. Well, a lot of people came out and disgruntled Auburn fans. Kind of help things with a win here. We'll see how that. Plays out today for the seventy five as they went three and five in SEC play. You mentioned how they finished last season. I UCF they want to finish better than last year going into the offseason so stadium and the Auburn offense backed up inside the fifteen L work out of the shotgun. Formation will play fake that one off tried on a quick slant. That was nearly ticked off by Tim caisson. Who had a great read on Matthew hill, a true freshman wide receiver? It goes slant. Flat to the open side of the field. And he just beats his beat the receiver to the full case has the football in his hands and just cannot hold onto it that would have been a huge turnover for Purdue in Auburn territory. Instead Auburn gets a reprieve and they'll try again on second down and ten now. Twenty two to go first quarter from Nissan stadium here in Nashville, Tennessee, the Franklin American mortgage music city bowl stood up claps his hands out in the shotgun. Formation. They'll go inside. Handoff big hall and plenty of room to run out over the twenty five to the twenty eight yard line goes Cam Martin you'll pick up fifteen and that'll move the chains. Cam mart is the shifty. Quick kinda runs inside to tackle type of back. But he hits him right up through the middle. Does a great job again through which snap stood up going up top tied to hit the home run ball. Just overthrows his intended receiver Darius slate. He had a couple of steps on Antonio Blackman the corner or Purdue that could have been another homerun defense coordinator. Nick hold talked about Tonio Blackman been picked on Sunday season. They run a straight. Gold Ceylon hasn't beats overthrow them by two or three yards. Another big Blake survey by over there. Daria slate as a couple of touchdown catches out of his thirty two perceptions here at twenty eighteen just misses that. So second down and ten they'll send Davison motion, but they'll give it off inside the camp. Martin he'll stretch near nearside gets a little bit of running room. And he'll have an for the first down another big chunk of yards for the junior at a Port, Arthur, Texas. He picks up twelve there at four hundred yards rushing on Kerry's coming in as Cam Martin bounceback football out to the left side guy who just will go with throw dare slate. Another great job of sealing Blackman. Give him a cruise to pick up that. I doubt ball just across the forty first down in ten shotgun again, Derek. Shoulder fake going up top again has a man that's gonna make a play. They do. Seth williams. Another true freshman receiver inside the twenty yard line at the nineteen yard line. A forty yard hiccups. And Auburn is moving again stood goes right back to society. Tim case was almost intercepted another goal. Route down the right sideline leaves enough to grab him. He does a great job waves coming down with the football. Here's that temple going fast. Fast fast inside handoff. They'll give it to Cam Martin. He'll take it down in the seventeen a couple of yards, and Dave we've already seen. What goes on once this offense to look like they're running the football. But they're also taking shots down the field. We see a couple of shots already early in this ball game. Given stood him the opportunity to force the football downfield. Aubert's? I drive seventy five yards and three plays. Their second drive. Not too shabby either is there inside the red zone Nelson..
