"Sauna. So yes. Yes. Okay. I am not even going to attempt your last name. That seems a general consensus. So please enlighten us. Lear mayor. Veer Maher okay. Yes. When you hear it. It's much easier to latch onto versus when you just see the spelling. SIMBA RANDOM H is in there too. You know you don't expect. So. You are quite the composer with a long list of projects that you have worked on and accolades and. including the nomination most recently or is this my looking to emmy nomination? Yes. Eh need the any. Nomination was very recent. Yes. Yes. Okay. There you go. Well, amazing to have you on the crew musician podcast. Taking the time. Thank you. Absolutely as we just discussed I believe you are true superwoman with three young children. Composition career and a studio that you're building. I mean, wow, you're juggling. Yeah definitely. Juggling. Dropping dropping lots of balls don't worry. You're crushing a lot of them too. So I think it all goes hand in hand absolutely, and we met through Derek Jones over mega tracks right? That's right. Right. So thank you Derek for that. Okay. I have a few questions that I like to go through. The each episode and it varies as we go and heard the guest but basically I just want us to be a fun conversation about you and your love of music and how. You. I got bit by the Bug Music Buck. You know talk a little bit about your history and what that was like. Well, should I stay You from the Netherlands. I'm from the Netherlands. Yes. I mean. Yeah Yeah. It is also actually. I love being dirt, it's great. I can say all kinds of stuff from this blame it on being. Young, I mean I definitely started. I mean Dick and around for lack of a better you know. Word at the piano at a young age is coming up with little tunes. I never thought I would actually do this as a living before i. MOVED TO LA three. I studied composition. and The Netherlands but also because I didn't really know what else to do I never fault I could actually. Be a composer. Until I set foot in La and just. Smelled the air and was really inspired by. Everybody around me. But But. The The music bug was definitely I mean being from the Netherlands is great because it's a great country but. I mean, there's a reason. Probably there's no word for film scoring. It's untransparent like scoring a film like the verb doesn't exist. Because there's not that much made and I felt very. I didn't fit in at the compositions because nobody likes Joan Williams nobody likes. Nobody like, Melody. That was just not thing the thing to do and I love all those things. That's what I you know. That's why live for. So I never really fitted in like I said until until I went to a found. So many people who felt the same so I think. I'm very happy I went and stayed for. A long time. Well, that's awesome because US Americans you know oftentimes, we can be so single minded. So it's nice to have people from other parts of the world come in and bring different perspectives and newfound appreciation for the the craft itself yeah I mean I. Love. I love the American view on film and Music. You know I think it's suits me much better than. The continental sound. That's great. Yeah. Did you have? Did you have a primary instrument that you were always more drawn to growing up and in school or? I, mean, I play piano That's my. Thing is I wouldn't call myself a pianist. It's the thing that I play to to us to impose on I used to play guitar when I was younger sixteen and stuff but I. Know it's not something I ever. Want my thing. I mean, piano is still my go-to thing. I like to sort of mess around on instruments but I. Think. Someone said one. The the worst musician you are the better composer you are. They probably said that they were terrible musician themselves. I, I'm. Not. I don't I don't play much for fun. If that makes sense I composed for fun you know

"Pretty well try different. Don't do like if you can do ten jazz ten rock ten orchestral country or whatever. That's better than just doing thirty of the same rock type of q right because if ten tracks aren't going anywhere with that catalog for whatever reason you know the rest are going to if they're on the same type of thing so trying to probationary catalog to see what I it's it's like you're writing style. How does it match up with That catalog in the clients that that catalog has So if I did you know The seventies funk and I did ten tracks of seventies funk and then I did ten tracks like acoustic singer Songwriter and then ten tracks of electronic. Edm maybe the EDM track. All of a sudden starts to make a ton of money but the other ones don't okay. Well let me try doing more electronics thousand music with that catalog. But then you may have another catalog that you did. Ten Acoustic singer songwriter attracts for that blew up. The electronic trixie did for them didn't make any so you kind of play the field a lot of a lotta guys tend to cling onto their music. And they're like man. I wrote these ten amazing songs. I don't WanNa let go with them. You if you learn to get over that if you can't you know this is like getting into doing what we do with this. This is like an industry. This is a career so if you can only write ten songs then this isn't the industry for you but if you can write ten songs every week or every two weeks and different types of music. Everybody has their forte. Like don't ever. This is another piece of advice. Don't ever walk up to people and say Oh yeah I do everything I do everything. Well Dad I I S I wake up in the morning. 'cause excellence but when you say. I can do everything that doesn't help like everybody has a forte. Every everybody has something to gravitate towards. Even if it's something that you like more you know put that foot forward likes her when somebody asks. Hey what do you? What kind of music do you do you normally right? Do you do well. You Know I. I Love Everything. I try to do everything but you know I always gravitate towards you know X. Or Castro musical I gravitate towards Latin music or I gravitate towards you know Fifties Blues or whatever you know could be could be anything. You know rockabilly anything so You know kind of find what it is that you feel you excel at and put that foot forward you can say. I do other things too but always have that forte. And don't be afraid to say this is my forte. Some people may be looking for other people may not. We just did a rockabilly album a couple of weeks ago and one of the guitarists that does all the eighties stuff for us. Just talking to the owner of mega attracts. He's like I am. I love rockabilly. I've got any started talking about these rockabilly specific tars vintage and and all of a sudden the owners like man. Why didn't I know this like a month ago? I would've brought you into co right. The rockabilly stuff with me right so you know it happens you know timing is everything but don't be afraid to put you know. Hey well this is one of the Forte's that I have. You know when you say when you say you can do everything then it's like okay. Well we're going to Abbey road in six months and we're looking for stuff that sounds like John Williams and we're also doing a big Ben album that needs to sound like Frank Sinatra and. We're also doing metal album that needs to sound like you know actives leaders. Yeah active rock on on the radio right now and we're doing a classic rock album that needs to sound like Bruce springsteen that's okay you're going to move all you're going to the mall and then watch separate bread. Yeah WELL WE NEED TO SALSA MUSIC. You know some FLAMENCO. Yeah yeah you know like okay? What did I get myself into some work that way? Yeah so each each style genre especially the deeper ones takes a lifetime get a hold of. Yeah I mean one of the big things that we've been doing a lot because we have a lot of clients in Mexico. We're doing a lot of Mexican styles of music. Wow nor tena Mariachi Mariachi Bolero. You know and just coming to say yeah. I do Latin music. Okay cool well we need you know we need like ten Norte and we need ten bonders. Yeah you know like Latin music means a lot of things to a lot of different people so You know you need to be able to specify what it is that you actually because literally we do we do everything from to log drumming through top forty style pop songs and we do not call me for. Yeah but that's the thing when you say I do everything to me. That's everything just free. You know yeah so exit. What your strengths. You know your strengths beautiful. All right you ready. We're going to wrap this with ten. Maybe or so maybe rapid fire questions and I think I know the first one already but I want. I'm curious because you're like me by the way when you hang with Derek. He's going to take you to the best lunch spots this side of Tex- We gotta give a shout out the seventy six pizza seven eighty-six pizza. Yeah you took their last year. I was blown away phenomenal. Okay so favorite food Maybe favorite food as of late besides seventy-six yeah I don't know just lately. It's just been. I quit food. Steak like American. Claiming was no frills. Just right there on love it. You know just cooked to perfection. Nothing fancy awesome when you fly across when you fly across the pond those long flights. Would you do on the flight usually watch movies? I love that so I'm always doing research for what I do. I have to kind of try to know what trends are so one on the flights. It gives me a chance to when you're on those flights here watching three movies in a row. See like I'll pick a genre film like okay. Well you know on on this leg of the flight or on this leg of the trip. I'm going to just do dramatic films and films that I may never really WanNa pay to see right. But they're all free you know and I'm always watching. Tv always listening. You know trying to find going to movies. I pay attention to the trailers a lot. There's a lot of money and movie trailers and so I actually pay attention to the trailer sometimes more than do the movie so I usually end up watching movies. I love that dream. Collaboration artists musician. Whatever it just be more of the same with you know. There's so many great is that have worked with One of the things that love to be able to do is go back to London again. In record more there we didn't talk about it but Truck sent me to London a few years ago and we did three albums over Castro Music Abbey Road Studio one where the seventies orchestra. I'd love to go back to Bureau D- And recording studio to which is the Beatles Room. We've been talking about doing that and W- it's been on again off again where it's like. Yeah we're going to do it and now like scheduling may not work quite right with some of the musicians only is you know. Let's put it on hold. Oh we're going to do it. Let's put it on. Hold now. We'RE GONNA keeps coming back fourth but to do stuff like that. That sounds fun you know. I've got friends in Nashville. I'd love to go to national and work on some albums with them. Yeah I mean just work on more albums with guys like you. Wally and you know Another friend Jimmy Hassle. I love him absolutely You know I'm really good friends with the man Greg and love those guys coming in. It's like you know that I have my dream job. And what's crazy is the job I do now is exactly what I got my degree in twenty years ago. That's incredible and that rarity. I wake up every morning and I get to go into a multi-million studio which we didn't really talk about but the studio the studio matrix is really big. It's one of the Classic Studios. Bruce Hornsby recorded his first two albums. His big hit records were all recorded in their own. The police worked in their Don. Henley worked in there like all. These big artists worked in there and then it is such a cool room and then in the mid nineties megatrucks took it over and now it's a private studio just for. Meg attracts but I get to walk into this huge. It's like a you know Twenty four thousand cubic foot live room and we have like the square footage of control. Room is like seven hundred feet..

"True wisdom from his colleagues in this crazy business. We call music Mr Derek Jones from mega tracks. Now if you haven't heard mega tracks as a production music library based out here in Los Angeles California if you're not familiar with production music libraries then Google it because you should be as a career musician and if you're not a career musician just listening for fun will basically a production. Music Library provides catalogs in large volume of what we call underscore or music cues and now this is the music that oftentimes you here under the dialogue and some of your favorite movies and TV shows. Well mega tracks literally is mega. They are John. Norma's company and they have thousands tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of different cues and songs so forth by a plethora of composers and artists now. Derek Jones is the man behind the curtain. He runs their multimillion dollar studio facility and is in charge of quite a number of the productions. That mega tracks puts out. I will let Derek tell himself. Trust me this. Man is extremely knowledgeable with a vast skillset that runs the gamut from production composing mixing engineering and so forth. Check it out right here on the career musician. Podcast so welcomes career musician. Thank you and you are by title engineer producer. Xyz What how do you describe yourself? My official job title is director of Creative Services and production slash chief engineer slash producer. Now that is impressive slashes but I slash. That's funny. I could what ended up happening just through time being at the same I've kind of assimilated jobs or positions into my position. And so but they're different enough that the title came with it. So you know I. I was an assistant engineer and then graduated first engineer. Second Engineer I engineer and then the chief engineer of the studio retired and so I kind of just became chief engineer but in addition to doing all of that I started to create a catalog for the company that I worked for and I started to do all that sort of stuff. So that's where the producer comes in. But then I also kind of oversee and wrangle all the cats and the owners of the company for their albums that they do so. That's where the the director of production and creative services. Because I I also do like I also oversee customs stuff when customs stuff comes in so right and you ask. You've spearheaded a couple of projects that I've done but you access which me are. We allowed to divulge the name of the company work. Yeah I mean we can okay so into called Mega truck production music and we we make music for licensing in TV and film so we don't score a lot of musicians also you score films and it's we don't score what we do. Is We record the music ahead of time in hopes that somebody will have a use for it later. So if you if you think like John Williams writes the score to a movie but in one scene the actors go into a nightclub. They're not gonNA have John Williams. Try to write media music now and so we have albums of music. We literally do every Selah music off right do. It's it's crazy. We just did a hybrid FLAMENCO project together. Yeah Yeah and it's just one death like you said hundreds of genres. Yeah that's another reason why I like working there when I first moved out to La. I was looking at different studios to work well originally when I moved out here to La. I was trying to be a a touring musician. I'm a drummer. Actually one of my question to principal and It's just funny. How life kind of keeps coming back around and smack in the face so since high school of always being the drummer you have to get the microphone to record drums. When you're in the band Um you know the singer just shows up at the one microphone and the guitarist will either plug indirect through their little whatever boss pedal they have or whatever you know This is back when like task. Campos studios on cassette four tracks for having garage amazing and we were all recording. Little Demos to get gigs and so I ended up having to learn how to record my drums and I was blessed to go to a an amazing high school public high school in Massachusetts. That had a phenomenal music program. We had a music wing of the high school and the band room was big enough to the bathroom so big that we had are marching band. Drumline setup all the time and then we had our entire orchestra set up and then we had our entire jazz big band set up in an arc around because it was set up like You know Like a orchestra style. Where kind of ARCS around the room? There is a little tiny town called. Lynnfield Massachusetts Twenty minutes north of Boston but A lot of sports players live there like a lot of the Boston. Red Sox live there a lot of the Boston? Bruins live there And so the town has a lot of money But in the sixties they built a new high school and the music program was always really strong there and they decided to spend in. This is like nine hundred sixty five sixty eight. I think they spent something like two hundred fifty or three hundred fifty thousand dollars building the bedroom. It's all acoustically designed. It had acoustic panels on the wallet. Had these huge eight foot diameter convex sound clouds that hung at different levels. The basically was like a second gymnasium so imagine a high school gym but converted into a music room. So the allure had these The the the floor was like a normal floor but then halfway there were these concrete risers that they built into the floor. So you had like instead of having wooden risers that you set up on you know so that the the percussion is the back and these were like. They framed it and poured the concrete on kilt these concrete. Here's that were about to ask four or five feet deep. And they aren't around the entire one side of one half of the road they build staging into the room base. Yeah on stage. It was pretty amazing. And then we had a wing that the room is attached to where we had our own classrooms. We had our own lockers for our instruments Practice rooms with four practice rooms with pianos in them and stuff. It was like a kind of reminded me of like a little mini Berkeley That's cool but The way to to to recall all this detail I spent. I spent most of my high school in there. Like we could get a pass from the The music teacher. If we had study hall we could go to the bathroom and then we would just practice so I started to record demos. I asked the band director if I could cause it just sounded amazing in there. I mean it was all acoustically tuned and everything that was phenomenal and so I brought my drums into the high school and set the four track and started recording drum set in the big band room during like study hall and stuff like that and then I started experiment I started experiment moving Mike. Around and then I started moving my drum sit around. I just started getting into southbound and you know how sound works just a. Your brain was already on engineer tip. Yeah well before you might have even been aware of it. Just kind of happened intuitively. Exactly yeah so it kept coming back. It was like a reoccurring theme. You know I would give somebody a tape like man. Check out my playing. You know I'd love to work for you. I'd love to work with you in your band like when I'm trying to like you know Between High School and college and try to you know get gigs in college. They're like yeah. Germans pretty good but man who recorded that it's phenomenal. I need to record and I'm like yeah. I did but you know wired have drummer but you know I need somebody to record and it's like Oh okay I guess I could record So I had to record a scholarship tape to get a scholarship to go to Berkeley and And you know the everybody even halfway through going to Berkeley people teachers and things like that was taking. Mp classes they would listen to this and be like who recorded this. And I'm like I did like what concept record through. None it was just a straight into the task. It sounds phenomenal like in Nowy Q. No nothing in. It really kind of taught me from an early age that acoustics kind of trumps. Everything else we can. I love gear. And I'm not knocking any gear but there's the right tool for every job but if if scrap in your Polish interred so getting it to sound right before it hits the microphone and when it hits the microphone is kind of the most important thing but anyway so I started off as performance major in college and then halfway through I wanted to switch to MP e- NPR which is music production and engineering. Thank you and I went to the dean of that department and he was like. Yeah I would look to have your your grades a great. It's a solid three years of classes for this major and I was talking to him in my fifth semester. Think Berkeley at Berkeley so I would have been at Berkeley for six years and I was like. There's no way I'm going to college for six years so he recommended. I'd do this thing called professional music which is technically when I got my major in professional music. I believe they still have it at the school but it was kind of like a choose your own major. You got to basically pick and choose. You sat down with the Department head and you said this is ultimately what I WANNA do in the music. Business or in the music industry Whatever it is you know it could be anything. And then you in the head of the department come up with your curriculum based on that and the department head The guy's name at the time I believe was Ken brass. He would talk to the other department heads in. Get you waivers So that you wouldn't have to meet all the prerequisites to take certain classes that you need news so I was able to take. I mean I didn't get to do the full. Mpa Program but I got to take some music production and engineering classes. I got to take music business classes. I got to take arranging and orchestration classes. I got to kind of take a game at my goal. Was I'd engineering. Was the thing that I did but it wasn't like the thing I wanted to do. I really wanted to be a producer. and Just I always liked the idea that you know especially when you're a musician you're always going around trying to find somebody that needs work and I need you to work for them and wanted to be the guy that created the could hire other people to do it. Okay hold on. I got interject because one of the one of the discussions offices words of wisdom. Listen everybody out there. That's a gem right there if you're sitting here saying here's all my gosh. If I only get a Gig I need more work. Well that is it. You have to be in a position to create the word. Yeah and that's that was very insightful of you so this is in college at a Young Age. You were privy to this. Yeah I noticed that you could see it. Everybody runs into it and they see it and you know some guys go the route while I wanna start my own band. Because that's the way I can then generate work. I did that too. I mean I started. I started a band with a few friends of mine and then they eventually kicked me out of the band because they wanted to do more gigs in New York and I was living in Boston and so I was driving from Boston. A lot of New York on Tuesday night to play like the nineteenth hole at midnight and driving back the same night And then having to go to my day job the next day this was after I graduated Berkeley so It was getting rough and so then they were like yeah. Well you know we took a vote and we're GONNA switch to use this guy in new city so I was like whatever man okay so and then I started another group. That was just GonNa be like a casual ban like IM- Boston..

"A livestream that lasted for nine hours. I've been quarantined at home for about three weeks like millions of other people and only leaving for essential goods and services. I don't think very many people define dancing and playing music as an essential good or service but Derek Jones professionally known as DJ. D- nice absolutely does about three weeks ago. He started an instagram live. Feed to play music for friends and family and within a few days had gone from a couple hundred people to a few thousand people and before the week was out more than a hundred thousand people listening in and it covered the spectrum of celebrity in politics people like we on Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden. Even Michelle Obama stopped in for a little while. So you know ten minutes and I was not thinking about the corona virus anymore and I was not thinking about not being able to leave my house. You know anymore and I was just caught up in the vibe of the music plan. The first time I've ever heard of denies was when he was part. This group with which is really one of the foundational groups of the was considered the golden era of hip hop. I wanted to talk to him about his life and his career but I want to ask him about how that nine hour set who come about and what he'd been thinking before he started it. I woke up that morning and I promise you felt like it was going to be a very nice set. Had Twenty thousand people in there and cap seen like these messages like my gosh denies that so many people in here like the only person is missing. It's like when I was like. Wow what if I can like surprise the people that are in here with like an Obama like that would be awesome? But I did make some calls I did. I was like you know a call one of the OBAMAS assistance in. We were just talking about it. Said thank you know. Energy was almost like Nah. That's not gonNA happen so that was an actual invitation kind of VIP. But I did call. I was calling everyone that was like. Listen I'm trying to get somebody in there. That could make people feel really good..

"Here what did you make of all star weekend I feel like this might have been strong as all star weekend he's in a while three point competition was very good don't contest had some controversy in the all star game I feel like this was a great all star weekend do you know what I do you have the least amount of hype going into and the I I don't know how many years I mean it's just been decreasing year after year the hype going into it but they did not disappoint I mean to go and that extra I don't know what will actually dogs over time in a dunk contest and coming down to the last ball of buddy Hield taken out Devin Booker as the defending champ I mean it doesn't get any better than those things I mean the controversy of the dunk contest is going to live on forever it's it's guy and I've never seen anything and like exhibition match you're just like all star weekend they have bands and just where is everybody all up in arms like it it's it's unbelievable I mean Aaron Gordon one of the best dunkers of all time and some say that rob twice as big here Jones was very very deserving but I definitely I'm is really angry with the judges the dog got does more than anything because I think it was basically you call you can't have five of these in the dunk contest in a row and then lose the odds and their Jones junior kept going back to a different version of the same dunk which was more impressive almost every time she but Aragorn his was so creative and just stop they in you never see and I you did it just how you hold this poses and just what a I mean gracefully than the error but then later when you get down in the energy he brings to the crowd at me and he he's an entertainer like nobody else so it's national do you have a take away from that yeah no I'm with you I think I think what the dunk contest I do think the Aaron Gordon should a one if you're gonna dunk over taco fall I feel like that you get through the wind where you're right he was great leading up to that he then jumps over taco in clears on why I kind of feel like Aaron Gordon one now I'm with you Jones his don't really to what's more differently I do think I actually don't think Gordon got robbed the first time because I think that Zak Levin is a better doctor than he is I actually do think he got robbed than this one okay you're hear me out though there Jones junior lead yup dumped over bam bam barely bent over where taco had to bend down to basically banned level was pretty even there but Derek Jones junior the distance he had to go to the ram was so much further than Aaron Gordon over van and your Jones junior went through the lakes on that one and it is unbelievable and he barely barely made Bamba and over I know bands six nine or so so it's much different there yet kako still got quite a bit on even bent over hi there John junior that region the fact is so far away from the rim when that went down was with special I just one way can't be a judge I mean you so tied to these players Candace Parker bless her heart I mean I respect your as a player person but like I think we need and then if these actors like what calendar you Sears catalogue both men I mean you're literally just look stoned out of it okay of those pretty incredible like the due date really carries a oak okay he's there to give it a nine you gotta get with with that okay all all do it we need to bring back the legend judges like employer is it we want the bus talented and big don contest our favorite athletes get military putting on the best performances we got a show we actually care by giving him judges who are going to take this seriously therefore they'll come out and compete I think we're losing a lot from the the way it's set up right now and we got to have a back up plan for when things do go this well I mean you can't just have dunk after dunk and then somebody screw up the scoring that's not

"We we went through when I heard that he might be available in trade is some scenarios with maybe a three way trade with Sacramento there. But outside of Ellington, there really isn't a great option for these guys in terms of reducing salary for this year or next year. They do have all of their cash available which is a rarity for them. They haven't made any tax clearing trades yet. But I'm really not sure, you know, even some unlike Derek Jones junior you data's has long can trade him. Wade. Of course, they're not gonna trade him. So you're you're logical guys are all expensive and go for a long time who are kind of out of the rotation right now. So Kelly Olympic is another one of those guys. So I don't really see a great path to even using that cash as a sweetener to reduce the tax Bill like we've seen with some other teams Houston most obvious unless you have something else we should discuss. I think we can go to most likely player to be traded. And I'm gonna take mcgruder just because the pathways are clearer with him. And we've already heard some reporting on that. But it easily could be Ellington Ellington is agent did go to the heat. And I don't know if he requested a trade, but he talked about his role at least. So I'll I'll go with Ellington. I just think guys make like mcgruder just don't get traded mood just habit. I think they should more often at twenty seven I think it would make sense for the heat to kinda cash him in for a few drasat and a team like Philly at could really use mcgruder. I think that would be quite as bionic trade there. But again, it just doesn't seem like these kind of traits happen teams are not aggressive enough to go get the guy, and maybe he gets overvalued a little bit by seeing. So I will go with Ellington, even though he can block a trade. But if I had to guess, I would say that these guys don't do anything as the most likely outcome. Let's turn to the Washington Wizards another team who's very much into the tax at another team that is quote unquote, fighting for the playoffs at the moment. I've written about the wizard situation. Couple times we've talked about it, of course on the show. They are five point five million over the tax aligned for this year..

"So we're going to talk a little bit about what went down at Maas. My wait. Hold on. We haven't covered the canes yet. What's going on? With the case. We can we don't have to cover the canes Gerald Willis now playing in the in the in the bowl game after weeks of saying that he was he has a legitimate hand injury though. He's just prioritizing the senior bowl as opposed to the pinstripe bowl. Nobody can blame them. Thank you so much Gerald no-one's man that you're missing this bowl game is a senior bowl the one. I saw the goddess coaching a game. I think it's the senior bowl. There's a couple of these games there. It's the actual senior bowl. But he's coaching one of the games. I'm really excited. Well, it's not the senior bowl. It's not the we don't know those staffs just yet. I don't think it's teams that are picking high in the draft order that get to be the staff's because the Browns coaching staff was always at the senior bowl is how I know this. If you're a bad team, you're there, and Chuck Pagano isn't doing that. He could be doing this all American game because Herm Edwards was always coaching that that that show. Case but for the high school players or there's a Shriners game too. But Jodi Willis, prioritizing the senior bowl because he's this interior linemen that gets a pass rush. And that seems to be the thing that's hot nowadays. Where's the line on this? Where would he have what bulk would we have been in that he would have been like I'll play apple a New Year's bowl game. I think where he can flash something against a really solid opponent with a really good interior line. I'm not entirely sure. The senior bowl is much more important for him than the pinstripe bowl. How about you finish? What you start? I I can't argue with that. Or he's been making points. Yeah. Yeah. Between that and Andre Andre Derek Jones. "And high noon, your back there, how absurd is this. Derek Jones junior de'andre, Jordan, Jordan, what a random, you know. No, no, no, no. I want him to talk because he like looks like stats. I mean, it's absurd. I can't have this conversation with you. If you think he's de'andre, Jordan. Can we look at the stats? We look at the sats. All right. He's on it. I mean, I'm bothered. I just saw him do a bunch of fancy things around the rim yesterday. He was dunking. Ryan was listening. I think he tuned you guys out. So you're going to have to like if you want to look up sides. You don't have to ask him. Again, what it is backtracking crate set. Someone looks like the Andre Jordan, Mike said this person doesn't look like these Jones junior. I said it's absurd a wing. Yeah. Oh, I didn't know dare Jones junior is a wing player. I mean MP a wing that looks like the Andre Jordan. It's just he's he's also like a long, and he's like crazy dunks. He's like, he's really. Athletic. Yes, he's he's athletic. I saw Jones junior jersey at the event. Joe I really only brought him up. Just so I could say airplane mode. And now, I'm being like, you know, what you compare to wing that the Andre Jordan, which is like an insult to any sort of wing. I mean, he's a wing. Yeah. Yeah. He's he's an athletic wing. I don't see him like hitting jumpers and stuff you Andrea. And I know he's athletic, and I see him with the ball in his hands outside the three point line. But when he's scoring he's at the hoop throwing dunks crimps. Do you see Derek Jones junior in the paint on both sides of the ball? No, okay. He's not the Andre Jordan. Okay. Because that's what the Andre Jordan does. Whatever I have to do to choose apologize. And we'll move on the conversation. I'm sorry. Right. Three. Oh, five many more to the Marlins. Yes. All right Marlins update JT is still a Marlin for now. They released three or five menu today. So there's items that are three dollars five dollars. I don't see the zero dollar items just yet or anything. We'll get to those dollars three dollars hyrog- three dollars pup.
