"To lose. What role does his dad play? He's always there, certainly at the home games. Yeah. Is there on the road too? Is that everywhere? And was his dad in Denver? I'm not sure if his dad was indifferent, but I mean, I will say earlier this season. You know, he was there endeavor. He was in LA when they went on the road earlier this season. And pretty much he goes to the majority of the away games. So the thing about his dad is they have a great relationship as, you know, most people can see and he does challenge the job, you know, John will tell you that his dad is his biggest credit. His dad is, you know, his biggest hater sometimes and what I've gathered, you know, just from talking to you over the years, you know, he eat challenge his job in ways, but, you know, sometimes people question, you know, if T is, you know, saying some of the right things to John, you know, from the conversations I've had with the people around them. T does seem like he's, you know, telling job, you know, you know, you know what's at stake here right now, but you know, John, again, he does have your mind of his own. And sometimes, you know, that seems to be the case when, you know, he does things that kind of fall back into his hands sometimes. You got a big story on your hands there. Michael, thank you for joining us. Appreciate you Dan, no problem. It's de Michael Cole. He covers the grizzlies. Beat writer, Memphis commercial, appeal. Well, that'd be an interesting story if dad was in Denver with him. Yeah, the thing I've been thinking about though with team morant is because he's getting a lot of criticism here about is he too much of his son's friend and not being his father. But you know, we can't forget that team Moran also did well enough to get job to this point as a father, right? Yeah. So I can give him credit, but then also, you know, this is when it is really important to understand with the bright lights and the money and everything. Now is when you need guidance, I'm sure that you got it when you were growing up and helped him get to this point. Now is what this is the guidance that's most important. I mean, maybe we're reading a little too much into a guy sitting courtside, you know? Well, I'm going by what guys who covered the NBA. Stephen a Smith, Jay Williams, these guys are around the league and I'm listening to what they're telling me about the relationship and you get to the point where now your son's the breadwinner. Do you look at him differently? Does he look at you differently? And I don't know that, but I think you have to ask these questions because what's at stake. You know, this wasn't something that was silly. This was something that was could have been very, very serious. And that's why you have to ask these serious questions. Before it becomes serious, now you have to ask those questions, and his father, his mother, did a great job. You know, they raised him. He had a chip on his shoulder, nobody wanted to give him a scholarship. Got a scholarship and then I wondered if he had the outside shot to be a star in the NBA. He proved me wrong. But these are things on the court. He can take care of. The stuff off the court, I don't care how athletic you are. You gotta be smart. And he hasn't been smart. But you're only 23. Yeah, I know it's apples and oranges with the accusations and not comparing the two guys, but if you look at Michael Vick, Michael Vick was the most popular, most popular player in almost all sports, but definitely in football, and I wonder if Michael had gotten in trouble for something smaller, a couple of years before the whole dog fighting thing broke, would that have been a chance for him to get away from that. But I don't think he looked at dog fighting the way we look at dog fighting. He grew up in a culture and Mike explained that. Once again, I went to prison with Michael when he, with Tony dungy, and he was proselytizing with these inmates. He was telling them, hey, don't do what I did. He was trying to have them have some kind of awake awakening here. But in his mind, Mike didn't look at he didn't look at dogs the way we look at dogs. Like this was a sport that he grew up with. Of course, it's wrong, and he went to prison for it. And he is, you know, since regretted that and certainly done a lot of things to try to help with the dog community. Even had to ask permission to be able to have a dog for his kids. And I just think you get to that point. It's different than if you said that John morant grew up in this environment. Then okay, I understand that you could be there with your guys or everybody carries a gun. Jalen Rose, who I have great respect for. Jalen, on the broadcast, said, look, I've been there. But Jalen didn't have a father growing up, came from inner city Detroit, and he said, look, there are people who wanted to kill me. And I'm there with the gun. You know, I'm that kid and the lights are brighter on you. But he eventually got out of that. And he realized that if I stay in this world, I'm not going to survive, or I'm not going to succeed. And that's what John Moran has to understand is somebody who will tell him when he's wrong. And hopefully he's dead, has his ear, or he'll listen to that. Because if not, this is going to be a cautionary tale. And that's why I'm not condemning him. He did something stupid. We've all been stupid. When we're young. But you can make, you can do something positive here. Let's do it before something happens. And at somebody who covers the NBA said last night, if I know you have a gun that's one thing, but if you show me you have a gun, it means something different. It's a different language to different people in different communities. And John morant showing he's got a gun on Instagram. Live is just irresponsible, but it could be worse. It could be something where somebody gets shot. And that's the thing I think most people are because he's a story to root for. It really is. But he's not helping his story at all. Yeah, Mark. Yeah, I think that investing in security is just so important because obviously he is a target or most professional athletes are, but I think that could just save you so many problems. You've seen that over and over again with different athletes carrying guns and shooting guns and things like that. I think security is higher security if you go to Denver and you're going out. Higher a driver. If you're going out, those are things that you have the money and then they can be the people who are going to protect you. If you need that. But you don't, if you're going to a strip club and you got a gun. Why are you going to the strip club? Like, why do you need to carry a gun in Denver? Those are the questions I would certainly love answers to. How'd you get the gun in Denver? Did you take the gun

"Fairly Dickinson. UNC Asheville, Drake and kennesaw state. Marvin? Best and worst of the weekend. Best of the weekend, Caitlin Clark, with the triple double in the Big Ten title game. They shoot her in college. Well, bar none. She is the best shooter in college basketball. Worse of the weekend, you're San Antonio spurs gave up a 142 points. To the Houston Rockets. Yeah? And usually it's you score you have a career high against the rockets. Because defense is optional with that franchise. Pauly, best and worst of the week. I'm going to go Liverpool 7 nil of our Manchester United. What happened to Manchester United? The rubbish as they say. Man, you. And then I'm going to bollocks. I'm going to give my second best of the weekend. The Travis Kelce on SNL. This guy is, you know, he's not an actor. He's not Peyton Manning, who's done like a thousand commercials. He pulled it off. He did a good job. Like every sketch I watched the whole thing, every sketch was pretty good. He's got a lot of personality. Yeah, he has confidence he was having fun when he was nervous. He had fun with it and his brother Jason Kelsey was there in the crowd. They had fun with that. They did a bunch of those tape skits that were really well produced and funny. He was in a lot of stuff and he really nailed it. Good job bye. Yeah. What was that catching Kelsey? Didn't he do a reality show where he was dating? He did point that out too. Catching Kelsey. Let's see. What else do we have here today? We got more context. Hi, Mark. What's on your mind today? Hi, Diane. Hey, Mark. Yeah, your caller earlier about the vasectomy. I've got an update about resuming activities. There you go. So my wife and I had surprised when so like a good father, I make an appointment to have a vasectomy done. And while I'm laying there, I know the doctor partially am I so we can not resume normal activities. He's like, oh, oh my gosh, don't do it in the waiting room. Wait, they just ask you they didn't demand that you didn't do anything in the waiting room. He's a polite, he's a gentleman. Okay. All right. So yeah, so later. So there's a lot of attention going on down there this day. I mean, my wife's friends are applauding me for doing this. I mean, it's just a lot of attention. So, you know, guys, we don't need a lot of attention down there because something can happen. So later, I'm talking to the wife. I'm like, you know, doctor said, we're good to go. Man, not sterile for like three months, but we're good to go. And we worked it out. We worked it out. So about 8 hours post-op, you're good to go. According to my doctor. All right. Thank you. Thank you for that update, Mark. Yeah, pulley. You still got the little wristband out with your name and your blood type, 8 hours after the hospital. Go time. Anybody have a vasectomy in here? Anyone been asked to? No. Nope. Not even not even something that comes into my mind. Yeah. Don't even think of it. Yeah, more. Same. Okay. Rich in LA. If you were asked Marv, what would you do? I'd probably, I'd think about it. Well, that's nice. That means no. Oh, okay, then the answer is no. Sorry. Yeah. I could see the reaction. Let's say one of us were asked to get a vasectomy and we fought it a little bit. I could see you catching some heat for why you're fighting it. You know, we're not having any more kids. We've agreed upon that. Playgrounds, you know. Yeah, but still, you haven't surgery. Yeah. Minor surgery is when it's on somebody else. Procedure? Yeah, oh. Is it vasectomy? Are you fully under? No. Oh, you're not? I don't think so. That's why they're talking about looking the doctor in the eye. You're localized. Dan Arlovski played basketball the next day. Yeah, she did. I just remember working with the SportsCenter anchor, and he said that he brought in a bag of frozen peas. And he sat at his desk, writing SportsCenter. That next day, and he was sitting on a bag of peas. I once produced, well, actually I was running the board for your show at ESPN and one of our producers had just had one. Yeah. That was fun. Yeah. Rich in LA, hi rich. What's on your mind today? Hey, Dan. 5 7 one 65. All right. I'm just worried about John morant and his gun situation. I'm sure you remember Gilbert arenas and what happened with him. But everybody remembers Gilbert, but do you remember who the other party was in that situation? Critten? Javaris crittenden. So he and arena has got suspended for the O 9 O ten O 9 ten season. All the players left the locker room, the wizards ended up trading a lot of people away. Britain didn't got traded to the Lakers. Where he joined an LA gang and is now in jail for manslaughter. So I just hope that this isn't the path that John Moran has headed down. But my biggest concern is if he's in Denver for a game and he has a weapon with him that is owned by him, he must have transported it on the team playing. Yes. That's what I want to know. How do you get that? And I know if you've flown private, there are a lot more lax when you're going through security, you even go through security in some places. But they might just ask him. It might be just a verbal you got anything. Now it might be somebody else who's going, but you need a gun to go to a strip club? And your posting that you have a gun in a strip club? If you need a gun to go to a strip club, then maybe you shouldn't be going to a strip club. Yes. I mean, there's always, you know, it could be somebody else's gun, kind of thing. It could be, you know? But you're showing it on Instagram. Like no awareness whatsoever. No. No. Zero. We'll check in with the Memphis Grizzlies. More on this story coming up after this. Second time I played it, put it on the green, two putted par, and it was one of the great moments of my golfing career. Not that there's a long list of great moments of my golfing career. But when you walk up 16, you can't help but start to look over at 17. And that green looks so small, and then when I played it, I think I played it and hit an 8 iron. I think I was like one 40 way, and there was a breeze, and the next time I used a 9 iron and put it on the green. And I've glad to have a two putt walk away. And I don't even know what I shot that day. All I know is I part the 17. Let's see. Poll question for hour three is going to be what you do, Connor. And our two was an absolute blowout. Oh, it was. Not even close. Okay. That's still somewhere in the 90s in terms of how good Anthony Richardson is a combined performance. What that actually means? That people don't believe in the combine. The measurables. The measurables are still at about 94 to 6%. We also put up there the franchise tag would you wear it as a badge of honor or scarlet letter? 62% badge of honor. No. No, I went a long-term contract. I don't want to be franchised for one year. I mean, it's nice to get that one year. A lot of times that's a big jump. Yes, it is. Yes, it is. By the way, Derek cards of four year deal have been reported in multiple places. Now, he's reunited with Dennis Allen, who was with the Raiders. I don't know what happens with Michael Thomas. What's Taysom? Wait, I thought they had their quarterback on their roster. How many years did we go through that with Sean Payton? I'm like, no, he's not a quarterback. No, no, Sean Payton is no, he's not a quarterback. A great athlete. Not a quarterback. And now you got Derek Carr and I think you can safely say he's the best quarterback in the NFC south right now. Maybe. Right now he is. Now, we just said Dan orlowski on. And our said, there was a report that the jets were leaning towards or Derek car leaning towards the jets. And he thought that that was just sort of a way of maybe flushing out Aaron Rodgers. Like, you want to play for the jets? Let's go. And Les Rogers said, you know, I don't know what I'm going to do. All right, then we really don't want Derek Carr. But now it makes me wonder what are the jets do now? What's Aaron Rodgers do now? Does this, I thought Aaron Rodgers was going to set the market or reset the market in the off season. Where Rogers is going here, and that meant the dominoes would fall. And that would be, okay, if he goes to the jets, does Garoppolo go to the Raiders. Derek Carr goes to the saints. Who does Carolina get? Does Carolina wait in the draft? Are they interested in Anthony Richardson? And you get Cam Newton two. That's what I was curious about. And I still am if roger, what if Rogers retires? So Jordan loves going to start with Green Bay. The Raiders now, what do they do? They bring in Jimmy G are the jets interested in Jimmy J is Mike white going to be the future quarterback with the jet. So there's still a lot going on, but I thought it was going to be Rogers. And Rogers, I'm going to guess this week, probably make his decision. Whether he retires or plays for somebody else, I guess he could stay with green bag, but I keep hearing, although they're not reports, that Green Bay has moved on. I'll give you talk to people who are around the sport. They say the same thing. Three people said the same thing over the weekend. They're ready to move on. I go, are they moving on? They're ready to move on. Are they moving on? That's what I want to know. Because I'm ready, but that doesn't mean it's going to happen. Because if Aaron Rodgers goes, then I'm going to come back one more year. Are you going to say we're moving on and then what? Because Rogers can come back, fully guaranteed, it doesn't matter if you're ready to move on or not. If he's not ready to move on, yes, Pauline. The saints also didn't have a first round pick in the draft at least their original first round pick. I think they traded last year to go up to get Chris olave, the wide receiver. So that would have been the tenth pick Philly now has that. But the saints, like the rosters ranked in the top ten of the NFL, their entire team roster on the PFF, I wonder if they looked at the division said, I'd rather overspend for Derek Carr and have a chance to win the division or be in our division than rebuild or start over. Because they don't have the draft guys to do it either. Yeah, but I don't know if I got Michael Thomas. Alvin Kamara has got legal trouble. Who do I really have? I love a lobby. But is that enough? And maybe you can be a sub 500 team and still win the NFC south. We've seen that as recently as last year. I think Brady looks around and goes. You know what? It's hard to leave the NFC south. What's easier? Home life for the NFC south. And really face a murderer's row for most of his career anyway, so. Hey, don't talk bad about Tommy. I mean, it's not like he really struggled to New England. I know. He had the dolphins and the bills and the jets and you're like, okay. All in some of their worst times in franchises. Pretty much 6 of our ten wins are going to be against those guys. Yes, Marv. They go 5 and one because they would always lose to the dolphins. They went down in Miami. All right, let's go around the room, best and worst of the weekend. And Todd,

Highlights of Sunday's action in the NFL's Week 15

"Week 15, NFL roundup. I'm Ben Thomas, Sunday's action saw two more overtime games, but neither qualifies as the wildest finish of the weekend. That was in Las Vegas, with the Raiders beat the Patriots. Ryan lyong explains how. The Raiders scored on a crazy play as time expired to beat the Patriots 30 to 24 with three seconds remaining in the fourth quarter and the game tied the Patriots tried to extend a 23 yard run by ramonda Stevenson, but a second lateral by Jacoby Myers was fumbled and recovered by the Raiders Chandler Jones who ran it back 48 yards for the game winning touchdown. At first I was thinking who's around me. And I felt myself stumbled a little bit after the stiff arm. And that was thinking, who do I pitch it to that? I was just trying to, you know, keep the ball alive. It's when I stayed up, I just turned the jets on and the rest was history. Derek Carr was 20 of 38 for 231 yards and three touchdowns. The Bengals Buccaneers game in Tampa matched two division leaders led by two marquee quarterbacks, Tom Brady and Joe burrow. Early on, this was dominated by Brady and the bucks who jumped out to a 17 and nothing lead, but as Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd said, his team didn't panic and capitalized on four Tampa turnovers. When we create them, turn those, we got to go get them touchdowns, and not three. So I think the turning point was the offense rallying off the defense and making those turnovers into touchdowns. Boyd caught one of Joe burrow's four touchdown passes as the Bengals scored 34 consecutive points, cruising to a 34 23 win. Eric waddell, Tampa. Now one of the games that went to OT, Denny cap. The Jaguars overcome a 17 point second half deficit to stun the cowboys 40 34 and overtime. Jags quarterback Trevor Lawrence through three of his four touchdowns in the second half, hitting receivers a Jones on three of those four scores. I think it says a lot about this team, how much we trust one another. Widely Patterson sent the game to overtime on a 48 yard field goal as time expired, that set up rayshawn Jenkins for the game winning pick 6 of dak Prescott as Jacksonville improved a 6 and 8 on the season, Noah Brown caught a pair of touchdowns for the cowboys who saw four game winning streaks now and fell to ten and four. I'm Denny cap. The cowboys have clinched a playoff spot, but there are lots of winning the NFC east have gotten longer with the eagles surviving a trip to a frigid soldier field in Chicago. I really couldn't feel my hands. Equals quarterback, Jalen hurts. Didn't really have good vision on the field. In some, I never play anything that cold. Still, final score eagles 25 bears 20. The other two teams in the NFC east still have a shot at a wild card. Craig heist has the outcome of the Giants trip to Washington. Rookie pass rusher kayvon thibodeau had a strip sack of Taylor heinicke and a recovery for a touchdown while saquon Barkley rushed for a touchdown in 87 yards as the Giants beat the commanders 20 to 12. Barkley and the Giants are inching closer to the playoffs. Big win for us and, you know, playing meaningful games here in December, you know, is where you want to be. Heineken through for a touchdown pass, but was also sacked three times. The Giants improved to 8 5 and one while the commanders fall to 7.6 in one. Craig heist land over Maryland. The lines and jets are both now 7 and 7, but one of them is feeling a lot better about it than the other, Mike mancuso was at this one. The Lions continued their playoff push with the 20 to 17 win over the jets, trailing 17 to 13 with one 49 remaining on a fourth and one Jared Goff hit tight end, Brock Wright, who rumbled 51 yards for the go ahead TD. I know we had it, knew the cutback would be there, and I just thought, run as fast as I can, getting that into. Jets quarterback, Zach Wilson, who threw for 317 yards, got the jets set up for a field goal of one second remaining, but Greg sirloin missed from 58 yards. Other finals, the chiefs survived a trip to Houston beating the Texans 30 to 24 in overtime. The Chargers topped the Titans 1714, the Steelers put a 24 16 pounding on the Panthers, the saints so with the falcons 21 18, while the wolf will Broncos be the spiraling Cardinals 24 15. Monday night the Los Angeles Rams play the packers and what should be a rather frigid Lambeau Field and possible snow. I'm Ben Thomas, AP sports

"Did your first time, huh? It was surreal. It was like, oh my gosh, I can't believe we're doing this again. The coolest part wasn't the football part, it was that I get my friend back. And so Derek Carr's heart is warm, the Raiders are thrilled. Opposing defenses are about to be unsettled, but the one thing we still got to account for, I think, is what about devonta Adams, specifically, makes him one of the best, if not the best receiver of his generation. And so how would you describe Tim how his NFL career started on draft night? What was in a way it was a little bit embarrassing. The first night he doesn't get drafted. He had like an ESPN crew in his house and you know how that goes. He's like, okay, when's this gonna happen? You remembers, you know, this kind of also been a little bit of a cliche is that guys who remember everyone that was drafted before then. Oh, no, Tim, he's one of those guys. He's one of those guys. He's one of those guys. He is. Quite a few wide receivers who went before him, who, frankly, shouldn't have. I mean, you've got you've got marquise Lee. You've got Kelvin Benjamin, you've got Jordan Matthews, Paul Richardson. I mean, he has this all down and devonte was picked the 21st pick of the second round at number 53. As cliche as it might be, it does provide motivation. He still harbors some resentment that as he said that those guys don't know how to how to measure what a true dog is on the field. But in terms of measuring Tim, what a good wide receiver actually is on the field. How does devonta Adams not just think about that, but explain that? I mean, this is one of the things that I don't understand nearly as much as I would like to. What makes him so good? Yeah, isn't that fascinating? I mean, I've always thought that with like Jerry Rice, where you could line up every wide receiver in the NFL and put Jerry Rice somewhere in that lineup and you would never pick him as being any better than the next guy. The same with demonte, you would line up these receivers and you'd say, okay, well that DK Metcalf guy must be better than him, right? There's a paddle me through a whitewater rapid. Yes. Very, very good. And, you know, I do feel like there's something about drive about inner drive that's there. He is perfected the little things, right? He is really focused on his releases off the line and now he's basically famous for them, right? He's the best, calls himself jokingly, the release king. That's what people know him as. That kind of attention to detail where he watches the film and he knows the guys he's playing against, he can he knows where what their tendencies are and all that. And then he has these very quick, very decisive moves that he makes that are trying to create space. You do that in basketball. You do it in football. Yeah, devonte Adams was a really serious, really good basketball player at Palo Alto high school. His first expectation was that he was gonna go on and play basketball somewhere because that was his sport. I was talking to his mom about his basketball career, and I said, do you miss watching devonta play basketball? And she said, no, I get to see him do it every Sunday. He's out there playing basketball. And what point that he really wanted to go out of his way to make was the impact that fear has in the NFL. And he sees it, he looks for it in cornerbacks, and he says, you know, these guys that are all mouthy and talking. They know that he has this ability to sort of see right through them, right? And so he really uses the fact that he's not a typical mouthy receiver to attack these guys like he attacks them mentally and he's got the physical skills to back that up, but he looks at these guys, he senses their fear. He seems to understand that they are uneasy with his sort of mysterious ways, you know, that they would rather they would rather that he just yell at them. You know, like every other receiver. But he doesn't do that. They would rather he broadcast all of his ego in public such that they could understand him and what makes him tick that much better. Exactly. And instead, he just plays mind games. He's very astute, he kind of understands human behavior in a way that he can maximize on the football field. So what you're saying is that the reason I found him only possibly vaguely interesting. At the top of the show is actually by design that he's actually been playing poker for years. Exactly. He frankly doesn't want to be interesting to you, although he says that gets in the way of his of his work, you know, he doesn't want us to find him interesting. And so the reality in front of devonta Adams now is using barking on his first season with his new team with his old best friend at quarterback. What do you think is running through his mind? I think what Davante is seeing is like now that he is in a spot where he's content. To be in Vegas, it just makes me feel a lot better knowing that, you know, before my career is over, I'm gonna be able to have more family at games. Get to have Thanksgiving Christmas in my home. Green Bay was my, that was my house, but my home was in Cali, but now I'm here full time. I'm back home. I think he's really gearing up for a season that, you know, that we might remember. You know, at Derek Carr's put up some incredible stats without a guy even close to devonte Adams to throw to. Yes, a number one receiver who I imagine also is remembering somewhere in his brain that he still should probably keep paddling. He definitely should keep paddling. I think it's a lesson. It's a lesson he learned

"At Fresno state, Derek Carr and devonta Adams. Derek Carr is a recreation major at the time and had taken some classes at Fresno state about different recreational activities. That sounds like a fun and very Fresno state major if I may say so. And very football oriented major as well. He had, you know, learned about whitewater rafting. There's plenty of it very close to Fresno up in the sierras. And so he decided that he was going to enlist one of his instructors who was also a guide that they would go up to the upper kings river and whitewater raft, and you know, the problem is he couldn't do it by himself, so he tried to get a bunch of football players, including devonta to go with him and his girlfriend at the time and now wife, Heather. Devonte was the only guy who went. Devonte idea was that they were going boating, you know? They were just gonna go float around. I thought we'd just come basically boating. That's what I was thinking. A lazy river kind of dynamic. And I don't know whether Derek withheld information from him or not, but they get on this raft, you know, when they start out and it is kind of a lazy river. We're going through like the first one, and it's just basically like a lazy river. I'm like, oh, this is easy. This is cake. Well, there's an end to the lazy river and it's called bonsai hole. And as Ryan tour as the guide explained to me, the sound comes first. And he says, you can start hearing this churning of this water as you're like, maybe 50 to a hundred yards away. And he looks at these guys and he has given them instructions, don't stop paddling. Instructor does this to hold on, and I'm like, hold on for what? As soon as we go down, he's telling us, don't stop paddling. Like, there's one rule to this and that is it. If you stop paddling, we're all done for. Ryan looks at them and he sees their eyes starting to get big as this sound gets louder. The first sign of trouble, devonte says. So what do I do? Stop paddling. I stop paddling. eCos from east Palo Alto, which is not whitewater rafting territory. He didn't spend a lot of time on the water. And so the don't stop paddling fell on deaf ears. He stopped paddling. As soon as we get through there, I slide into the boat to make sure I don't go in. And it threw the balance off and as soon as you hit it, like one of those rappers is just shot us out. Everybody went flying out. He fell out first. Derek fell out next and as Ryan told me, you know, Heather was the only one who followed the rules, but it didn't matter. He said I had these two ripped guys and the moment I needed their power, it wasn't there. These two guys who are renowned for their rapport on the football field, these two like super Jack dudes. They're now just getting swept

"You know, the final thing here, I think, is just, you know, I still think the contract is a good thing because if I were Derek Carr, I would be nervous, right? I think that any patriots regime coming in, although it's weird, right? Josh McDaniels and Dave ziegler have been a little bit different than, say, Matt Patricia or Bill O'Brien or any of these guys where they just come in and clean house. They came in and they extended max Crosby right away. The extended Derek Carr and at least I think they're trying to, they're trying to create at least the illusion right that we're not in here just to replace all of you guys with Rex burkhead. And hopefully that's how it goes, you know? And so I don't know, I think if I'm Derek Carr, at least the offer feels good the years freak me out. Maybe a little bit, but I don't know. I think he sneaks two years out of this. I think he sneaks this year next year, 'cause I don't think next year's class is very good either. At least not right now. I think so too. Honestly, I think he makes it through all three. And we'll see where these quarterback contracts go, but the door that has been cracked open by the Sean Watson deal. I mean, I don't know. I don't think any of those guys are coming loose. I think if you're the Raiders, you're going to realize you don't really have an opportunity to upgrade here unless you really bottom out and end up at the top of the draft and the CJ Stroud or a Bryce younger whoever might be takes off as sort of a generational or close to generational prospect. So that's where we're all just waiting for arch Manning. God. Oh man, I hope he has a different approach to comedy than his family members. American corn farmers, a proud and chosen profession inspired through generations. Tested, resilient, and committed to giving back as much as they're growing, pushing the boundaries of what's possible with every bushel. While replenishing every increasingly precious resource, like the reduction of soil loss by 40% with every acre grown in a world where sustainability matters more than ever, we need all the help we can get, and there's no greater resource than the capable hands of American corn farmers. I've been a metro station manager for 20 years. People need to know we are ready for them. That means keeping everyone safe. Right now, the focus is on trains and COVID precautions. Rioters and employees wear masks. All buses and trains have improved air filtration. And we're working hard to get all our trains back on the track. My name is Jeff doubt. I'm doing my part to keep the D.C. area moving. All right, Connor, suffer our next draft breakdown here. And we're going to talk about the defensive lineman. We're just going to kind of lump in the edge guys and also some of the interior guys here and go through the top prospects in this class. And I feel like I have a real lack of scorching hot slash absolutely absurd takes on this position group. And I apologize in advance. Well, you have the best take, which is the one that you fed to me so that I could write a magazine story on it, which is that I do think that they're exceptionally valuable. This year, right? I mean, there is a dearth of pass rushing talent at the NFL level. Randy Gregory got a $70 million deal. So this class is being examined probably unlike any other. And you and I have a story coming out about it. So that should be it. Should be fun for people to read. Yep, it's that. And it's the fact that nobody's gonna blitz anymore. Ever again. No one will ever blitz Patrick Mahomes ever again in this league. And if you're not gonna blitz, you need guys who can get home in the past rush here. And again, we're gonna say this a lot over the next couple of weeks as we approach draft day, but there are no miles Garrett's or anyone like that in this draft that is just sort of sure fire like, oh yeah, this is the number one overall pick, but there is good depth at this position. There are guys you will find in today two who can immediately step in and help theoretically. It varies from player, but I'll just throw out once again because I think this is the most optimistic thing you can say about this draft class. There we go. I mean, look, Aaron Donald was considered a flawed prospect. He goes outside the top ten TJ watt goes late in the first round, JJ watt goes outside the top ten. I'm not saying that there is a Hall of Fame generational talent here, but we do kind of tend to write guys off before the draft before they play in a game. And, you know, maybe someone maybe somebody emerges here in this class, but let's start things off with at least at this moment the presumptive favorite for the number one overall pick. That is even Hutchinson out of Michigan. It gets a lot of TJ watt comparisons. I think partially because of skin color, but also because of effort. And he is a high motor guy, but I think that does overlook the fact that he's also, I mean, he's a freak athlete. I mean, he's incredibly athletic. And he was incredibly productive last year after losing 2020 to an injury, so something of a small sample size, I'm always a little bit worried about guys coming out of the Big Ten because there's only one program who really regularly draws elite talent to their program. That's Ohio State and you only play them once a year. But I'm fine with Hutchinson going on. He's top half of the first round in any draft and if you like him, go ahead, go for it. Yeah, just for fun, I like to watch, I like to watch him play against Rutgers just to, you know, 'cause it's just like, it's like watching a gigantic teenager play like youth football and just like, you look like Tarzan in that game. He was just like leaping off of trees to tackle quarterbacks from areas of the field that you didn't even think defensive player had access to the quarterback. It was phenomenal. He's wildly athletic. You know, I think you can move him around. You can play him in a lot of different places. Boy, I don't know if that's if I'm Jacksonville. Let's frame it this way, right? We can talk all day about his athleticism, but if you're Jacksonville, is that what you want at number one? Do you view that as the right thing to do at the number one overall pick? You take a pass rusher. I mean, I'm sure they want to get out of that spot. I just don't think they can. Can anyone watch the number one pick? Yeah, but do you want do you want a pass rusher in that? Or would you take like Evan Neal? Would you take would you take an offensive lineman? You know what I mean? I would take the offensive lineman just because first and foremost, I want to build that offense. And there's no other option. And obviously, it depends on how they grade these guys. Do they like Evan Neal? Do they like icky? I don't know, do they like hutchison? Did they like Tremont walker who are going to get to in a moment? But I would build that offense to do something elite around the elite quarterback that you have there. And then just sort of figure out how to patch together a defense that can basically hold on. Kind of the chiefs formula at that point. Yeah..

"derek carr" Discussed on Strong Opinion Sports

"I find myself often skipping ahead during football when I watch it. I usually try to start a game about an hour later, and then it's that way I can scale all the commercials and skip the boring parts. And a speed watch it basically. But my goodness, I don't ever want to do that with Peyton and Eli broadcasting because I watch commercials. What the hell? What is that? I've never do that. I usually skip that part. And so it's never boring. It's way more insightful. It's way more fun. It's color commentary, the entire time. And Peyton and Eli, what a fantastic home run broadcast. I recommend everybody watching it was amazing. And really, really good time. All right, let's shift gears, talk about Derek Carr. Watching Monday Night Football made me wonder, how good is Derek Carr? And where would I rank Derek Carr among other NFL quarterbacks? And I believe Derek Carr, the Raiders quarterback is going to have a really big year. He's like, to me, I look at him like a Tony Romo or a Carson Palmer, a great player who gets a lot of hate, and in my opinion, way more talented than they get credit for. The hate is undeserving of Derek Carr. He once had an MVP caliber here literally and yet people, they blame him. I think as a team gets better around Derek Carr, people are going to start to change their feelings about on the same way. I think Matthew Stafford is going to change hearts and minds with his new team around him in LA. You're like, oh, hey, Derek Carr, sorry, Matthew Stafford in Detroit with the reliance horrible. Matthew Stafford with the rams in LA a good football team good coaching competent ownership. Oh wow. It's amazing how much better you are, you are when you actually have help and good people around you. Weird. So I think that'll a similar effect will happen hopefully this year with Derek Carr and the Raiders. Now, one thing I love about Derek Carr is his arm is amazing. He's got this really, really underrated arm. And it's funny, a lot of people want to run him out of Vegas, or they want the Raiders to just drop him as their quarterback. And I'm like, that's totally ridiculous. Why is Derek and getting all this hate for years and years and years? So I thought to myself, it looks like a fun exercise. Which quarterbacks around the NFL, would I rather have than Derek Carr? And I don't know if it's like you're giving the option one or the other. I just assume, hey, if I'm building a team, and you said Derek Carr or blank, would I pick the other guy or would I pick Derek Carr? And I came up with 9 different names that I was like, for sure, 100%, I would pick them over Derek Carr. Now, rookies are not allowed on this list because I considered Trey Lance I considered Zach Wilson, the jets quarterback the forty-niners quarterback. I love their ability to run, and you'll hear when you listen to this list. A lot of the guys I pick are there because they can run and they can't extend plays. And I would want to coach Zach Wilson and Trey Lance a lot. I don't know if they're gonna work out. Their rookies have got a lot to prove..

"Valuable. When you can run and extend plays. And if your quarterback can't extend plays, if I'm the coach, I'm like, thank you next. I'm going to find someone else. I really would have a hard time committing to a quarterback now in this day and age who can't run around like Tom Brady. He's grandfathered in fair enough. But if you're a young quarterback, I can encourage everybody. Figure out how to run around and extend plays. It really will add a massive dimension to your game. Even if you're not someone who can run trying to think of an example, Gardner minshew, Sam darnold, Sam is not the best example. But these are guys who are not amazing athletes, but even Patrick Mahomes, Patrick Mahomes is never going to run for a 70 yard touchdown run. It's never going to happen. The mar Jackson might Tyler Murray might. Justin Herbert might, but Patrick Mahomes isn't that kind of runner, but what Patrick Mahomes can do is keep a play alive and find a way to extend the pocket and keep a play alive. And I just encourage anyone no matter how great or poor of an app that you are figure out how to young quarterbacks extend plays and keep plays alive. It's so so valuable. Now Lamar was not perfect in this game. He had two fumbles that were costly. Both for him. And they led to raiders touchdowns, man. Frankly, the difference in this game, why the ravens lost was because Lamar Jackson did not take care of the football when it mattered most. He had a fumble and the late in the game that tied the game up, then in the fourth and over time, Lamar Jackson, they got the ball back. He fumbles leads to a raiders go ahead, game winning touchdown. It can not happen. You can not take care of the ball as poorly as the more Jackson did yesterday. Now both the more and I say yesterday, you're probably hearing this if you're listening to the audio version, it's Tuesday for you. I'm getting it out right at the end of the day on the east coast, Tuesday, so whatever that last night, two days ago, whatever it is for you. Now, both the mar and Derek Carr had won really bad play. One play that I, it sticks with me. It's gonna sit in my head for a while. It's gonna be hard for me to forget. Derek Carr had a play where he just did not see Darren Waller. Like right down the seam wide open over the middle field, the safety didn't pay any attention to him. I think it was clearly a busted coverage. And that's a play that's going to be brutal in the film room. Probably today, I can already hear Jon Gruden's voice saying, kid, what are you looking at? And I can't do it John Green, impression, which is basically what did you not see the safety at all?.

"Work from home you know but but on the positive side. I got to see my boys do a lot a lot of new things. You know my kids. You know a lot of new things that i usually don't get to see because i'm here at the building and so my my kids like it so now that i'm here all day at camp against camps getting normal. They're like daddy ever gonna come home again. You know so That part is hard. But you know the fact that it's starting to get more normal a little bit. It was at least in nevada. go finally go to restaurants. We got to go to vegas night's game and take my boys so i got to experience hockey and now they wanna play hockey and so i know nothing about it but that's one thing that's been nice about cova kinda going away but still i mean we're six feet apart. You haven't seen you in two years. So i wanted to give you a hug and say what's up. It's just it's just weird you know you've had a really interesting last couple of years because in football since you've started both seasons really hot and it tailed off and then you've also moved to vegas. What has all of this turmoil been like in a football sense in football cents. It just hasn't been good enough. You know we we start hot and and we're six to you know or whatever it was and pregnant here. We go like this is awesome. Were doing it. And then it tails off next year. Same thing six and two and it tells off the one thing i can say and you know me. I'm a super positive guy. Is you know. I remember two years ago. We're in denver. Last game of the year we threw a touchdown for two hundred zero. And we go for two and balls batted down right on the left side or on the goal line. This year this past year we go to denver. We go down. Just jacobs run in. We go for to same exact throw same exact area the field and i throw it and we complete it and i and i looked at grew. I said we got better this year. And he he obviously try and keep him positive you'll keep and he's like you know what you're right and we laughed about it at the same time. It's just it just hasn't been good enough. I think grew said. I'd give it a c. You know we've done some very productive things. I feel like i'm playing the best football of my career These last couple of years but none of that matters unless we win and You know gus. And the new jahic and the new defensive guys casey that we've added. I think we have a chance to do that. But we gotta go prove it. Do you really live like right next to grew to yes like there's one guy in the middle of so i feel bad for him when we're yelling at each other but yeah there's one guy in the middle back can literally my boys you walk out my front door. We can see each other and wave. I see cindy mrs gruden. Every you know every so often you know riding by or we're playing at the park with the kids and grew will stop and talk to the kids. It's awesome but yeah we we. We live right next to each other. What did you say when you found out that one of your teammates trusted teammate is gay now understanding what a religious person you are and i really was curious about your interaction. Yup after basically the news. yeah. I think I asked you know there was. Some people are trying to ask my opinion. And just trying to create a buzz because of that and that to me was like come on man you know. What are you trying to do with that then. Someone finally asked me. And i answered them. You know and i told him. I said we live in a country. Now where if you disagree with someone. People automatically think you're supposed to hate each other. And i'm like that couldn't be farther from the truth. You know what i'm saying..

"My thanks to matthew stafford. Now let's go up the coast to santa clara Where i spend a day with the forty niners and let's hear from a guy who's a very compelling story also this year forty niners quarterback jimmy garoppolo so here in santa clara. Jimmy garoppolo so jimmy. I've got to ask you said on that. Fateful friday in march. When you got a phone call i guess either from kyle shannon john lynch. Hey look we may speak trade. We might take a quarterback was the thought that went through your mind right at that moment you know. Initially there's lots to process the take in You know no one ever wants to get that call but then the reality set in and it was kind of You know. Let's go play football. And i remember talking to john and i asked him the first thing i asked him. I said am. I still going to get a chance to compete for the job. And he said yeah. That's absolute no problem. And that's really all. I could ask for being a player. And so it's gotta be a little bit of a blow to your ego that you get hurt on total freak injury last year and it ruins another season for you. So have you pounded the walls much. What what is it been like mentally for you. I mean we're dealing with the injury and everything the ones that you can't control really. Are there upsetting. Because you know you put it in all this work out here in the off season to prevent things like that and you know freak. Things happened in this league. May i got rolled up on by linemen and you know it is what it is type of thing but at the end of the day You know i'm out here compete with my friends and my teammates. And that's all i can really ask for. I mean it's You know you don't opportunities at this thing so you got to take advantage and do it's gotta be an odd situation first of all. But i've asked a few people around here. What is it like in the quarterback room and everybody has told me and who knows. I'm not in there but everybody is told me that. Maybe you have been like really welcoming to trae lands and really kind of good to what's been your attitude about that you know. It's aw picked anyone you know anyone could bench shoes. The jay was the one that got selected and so it's You don't wanna have any weird feelings towards him or take it out on him. it's i know he's not the one making the decisions at the end of the day. So it's Yeah i welcome with open arms. Try to just be myself and let it happen. Organically and i think it's It's been good for both of us. You know he brings a little youth little energy. Qb room and whatever. I can do to help you know if he asked or anything like that. I'm willing is it weird to be the veteran. Who's kind of you know. The kid is looking to very very moi twenty nine but i i don't know in this league twenty nine. You're getting on the older end of it. And i've been around for a little while seen some things and so it's I've been on both ends of it now and so it's It's coming full circle but know it's it's right where i wanna be at the end of the day. This is where. I want to be playing football out of competing and then we'll see what happens. I asked john lynch how it's going with you and all the quarterbacks and he goes jimmy is the kind of guy who has responded to this very well. He said i think the competition is made him have his best off season and best camp. Do you feel that way You know i think subconsciously. I think it's there. I you know every offseason try to improve things that you know. I i see as a weakness of mine and you. You're always approach it kinda the same way but Yeah whenever something like this happens. I think in your subconscious whether you're thinking about it or not it's there. I mean you know the reality of it and i mean if you're gonna lay it up for competition. I'm ready for that in the off season whether maybe it was your dad somebody who played with a prior coach. Whatever is there anybody who you felt. You helped you deal with the reality of your new life I think having been around the league. I've seen it before you know you're seeing it in other positions guys who you're friends with go through the same thing and it's It's weird seeing it but then once you it just i don't know it happens very quickly and I don't know. I didn't want to be fake about anything. I didn't lie. Be not me. I just wanted to be myself and let things happen as they may. It's i welcome competition if someone's trying to do that and so be it. I mean that's what we're out your competing every day whether this situations here not so. It's one of those things. I'm just going to be myself. And now let the chips fall as they may. The last thing about this particular thing is when you go from thinking that you have found your home for the next ten or fifteen years and now knowing that you still could but knowing that probably it's more likely than at some point you're going gonna play somewhere else. How big of a blow is that. And how have you managed that over the last few months Honestly i this conversation with a couple of people. I'm one of those guys that i literally live in the moment. Take it day by day. Don't own a house rent. And so i'm. I'm really an in the moment kind of person so this happened. I can remember my brothers. Were asking me a million questions and all you're gonna do this. You're going to do that. And i was like you know. We'll see what happens type of thing. And so i don't know as crazy sound. It's actually worked out pretty well for me and put me in a good mindset here every day and yes kind of our role so three things about the present you know last year. You guys had sort of a bitter disappointment early on when you had so many injuries on your trip to new jersey against the giants and the jets and i wondered. Do you come into this season. Feeling like you've got a chance to be the great team you were in twenty nineteen honestly..

"I'm it's definitely more fun to win absolutely Had some great seasons there where we were successful and That's as much as you can have playing football You know it's tough to lose. Everybody knows that You know for me. It wasn't so much that is it was just kind of knowing where the organization was going. It was going through. A you know a big change with the new head coach. New general manager is going to be a lot of new players as well. And i just felt like the timing was right Was well within their rights. To tell me that it wasn't. I would have understood but Just really appreciate them for at least entertaining the idea and then obviously going through and you know together kind of making that happen but it's It's something that you know as a player you want be a you. Don't want to be a champ. You wanna have you know chances at it and You know luckily they were They were great and sent me to a place. That's got you know. A bunch of great players in a bunch of recent success does any part of you feel like regardless of whose fault it was that i let them down. They're definitely you know. I sit there and go man. I wish i could have gotten it done. You know i mean it would have been amazing to You know have a super bowl parade down woodward avenue in detroit. I mean i would've loved that Didn't happen and it's tough to swallow a competitor and somebody who touches the ball on every single offense at play for the for the for the lion so Yeah you definitely look back in and Wish he'd done a few things different there and some games that may changed outcomes. The seasons but You know i'm i'm focused. Completely forward now. Feel great where i am just trying to do everything i can to learn this offense and You know move forward with the team. That's i'm extremely excited to be on. What does a quarterback thing when he looks at the landscape and looks at a coach. Sean mcveigh over the last few years. Have you watched much of the rams. What have you heard borrowed him. And what has been the reality. Yeah you know. I didn't have any really you know preconceived Feelings just in passing you know not not not great but Obviously i had a lot of respect for what he's been able to do it a really young age to be able to command a room. Committed team and organization at a young age is something that's really tough and You know obviously had a ton of success with his offense as defense has been playing great for years as well so You know it was. It was something that you know when it finally went through. I was extremely excited to get the opportunity with the guy. That's the smartest. He is and his charismatic. and you know has a grasp on leadership All that is Is something that's really enticing for quarterback. Let's talk about football. I second take me into learning this offense and why you think for you. It's a good fit. Yeah i mean it's You know it's very complex. You know but at the same time it all makes sense. You know quite a bit to it I'm doing everything. I can to make sure that i'm diving into it and getting as comfortable as i can as quickly as i possibly can As far as fits me. I think Private most quarterbacks. To tell you the truth it's a it's a really good offense and and i'm excited to just keep working hard and try and bring it to life when you look at where this franchises right now. Particularly with the defense you stare across the line and see aaron donald. So what are your hopes playing on a complete team like this You know. I hope that every day we come here we we We make each other better. You know i'm throwing passes to cooper cup who's guarded by jalen ramsey and and Like you said aaron. Donald russian passer. We got andrew whitworth blocking it's really cool to To be on the same team as those guys. And i'm just trying to make sure that i do my part so that you know in the end we can be. We want to be to other sort of mental questions. I wonder after. Somebody's been a place for a long time. You were in detroit for twelve years. What is it like going to a new place and do you try to. Are you a little bit. Careful in trying to assert yourself too early. Explain how all that works. Everything was new Every person i interacted with was the first time interaction and and Trying to figure out who does what you know. Familiarize faces and names and all that kind of stuff so that's a big challenge You know as far as putting myself to be honest with the. I'm just trying to be myself the same guy. I've always been the same player trying to get better but just be myself as a personality and and You know there's times where it's time for me to step up and speak and there's times for you know i need to listen so i'm just trying to Be the best in that role that i can be. Did you watch the super bowl this year. Did you watch brady. I did yeah. So he's forty three years old going to be forty four this year. What's your thought watching a guy like him. Still do it at age forty three. It's pretty remarkable to be honest. I mean The way he's able to take care of his body but then also just You know willis teams to two wins. You know he's He's done a heck of a job in doing it for forever and and who knows guy might play forever and we don't know last thing football you know you make a great living from it and you know watching you over the years. It seems like the most fun times. You've had our late in the fourth quarter. Big games winning a big game. And i wonder when you think about the fun of playing football. He think that's going to be rekindled here with the rams Yeah i mean. I don't think i ever lost it. You know. I love playing game. I love competing You know being in those big moments late in games being played in big games planning playoff games. That's that's what you play this game for You know you live for those moments. Those and hopefully i got a bunch of opportunities at those While i'm here and and make the most of them to me. It's just when i look at your career. It's just shocking. You haven't played lead into january. And i bet for you whether it's shocking or not. It's gotta be. Oh my god. I really wanna do that. Yeah absolutely that's that's the that's the goal and that's why i'm here and and hopefully we make it happen. Hey listen appreciate a good last year. yeah sports. Are.

"He's definitely comfortable around me. Comfortable around dressy then. He's hugging him joking with him. You know all that and those are all good songs for hopefully being able to give we. I wish everybody could catch one hundred balls. You know i really do but again. It's hard to take away from. Darren when he's been so productive and and good for us you know if darren had you know w r next to his name and the depth chart no one would care. You know the fact that it's a tight end. Why don't we get to you. Know that just is what it is. You know if if if henry can show when we put the pads on. And all that which i'm fully confident he will. Yeah absolutely. i could see that happening. Here's some thoughts as my takeaways. I wrap things up from training camp. It really interesting to start seeing how the nfl is dealing with cova protocols with players with media with staff how things are starting to come back to the norm that we're used to and i'm going to tell you it won't be one hundred percent everything that you're used to but as for me we're starting to see it returned to normalcy. We're starting to see that. We can be in the same rooms. As jon gruden derek carr booth came into. The room is the first time i hadn't been on zoom call since march twenty twenty which was pretty amazing being that we're now to look these guys in the eye. We're able to develop that report with them. And that's something that i've said all along is very important for reporters to do when we're trying to report and bring back facts to you about a team is when we can look somebody in the i. It's not just about the answer that they're giving it's about the body language it's about the presence that they have when they're answering it. You can tell if somebody liked or didn't like your question right off the bat so it's always a good thing to be able to see that return for us to be able to speak to all the players and the coaches and to have that accessibility again. It's really important for what we do. And i'm glad that i was able to see that as far as being on the field i tell you a lot of hungry readers out there. A lot of aggressive raiders out there a lot of readers that are listening and paying such close attention to the coaches and all that they have to offer as they get into training camp. You see so many fresh faces as well with the rookies and undrafted free agents. That were brought in this year. And i'm still looking for who is going to spark. I'm keeping my eyes out on jimmy morrissey on the offensive line. I'm keeping my eyes. Out on dylan's donor in the wide way. Receiver department dj. Turner's well. who. Jon gruden mentioned. And i'm looking courses see. What a lot of the defensive rookies that they brought in or going to do malcolm coons when divine diablo comes back. Maybe we can get more of a glimpse of him in the coming weeks. But i really can't wait for everything to play out. Especially as jon gruden mentioned earlier and you could hurt this on the i ten. Podcast if you subscribe to that. He talked about the secondary and in that secondary with tyree. Gillespie coming in with demon our net would nevin lawson with guys like casey hayward with trayvon molin And so many other names. That i could just go on and on and how they're going to shake out who is in what position. What a nickle package looks like. Who's going to be up there when they're playing three deep. It's one of these things that we don't know yet and we're going to have to wait and see how it all plays out in camp and so to me. That's the most exciting thing to be watching right. Now is the secondary and the cornerbacks and safeties. How everything will play out for them. Because i was going to be an area that really needs to improve for the raiders to make a push for the playoffs and the twenty twenty one season.

"Rounder. Trent brown today do you do it. Yeah i do too. The only be listened as i said like this is not a knock on on trent brown. And everything you. You've gotta listen. You've got to try to make the team better. You gotta try to do what began as a fifth round. Pick a worthy return for trent brown. No of course not they turn. Brown is the highest paid right tackle of all time. They decided under this big deal was good reason. He's an incredibly talented player. But he hasn't been on the field enough You know the the old cliche the best best abilities availability and trump out is not available. And i think there's a feeling within the organization that hasn't always worked as hard as he needs to to to be available and it's not just injuries. It's it's also a at times. A work ethic concern. So there's a lot of factors going in there. But i like gave. Jackson is still really good player. he's you know he's good on. You know good locker room. He's a he's a good guy that everybody loves. But there's a reality of the situation right now where the salary cap isn't ugly number. It's coming down and we know that a lot of players are going to get released. A lot of contracts are gonna be restructured. We're seeing a lot of that going on right now and so. I think there's a strong possibility that if trump didn't you know really drop his salary and some sort of renegotiation than he might just be released and so if you can get some team to take them on at that salary for fifth round pick. I think he would say yeah. You're you're going to do that because otherwise you may lose them for absolutely nothing like you're going to do with gave jackson and i think they did try to hear offers and you'll feel causing jackson but nobody wants to take on that salary and that's going to be the situation at a lot of different positions It is we heard the head of the the murmurs yesterday. And we've been speculating about this for a while. But you know diana rossini from espn. Who's having a great offseason in terms of reporting. She said she was texting with nfl coach. And i don't have the quote in front of me. But i think she said next week is going to be a bloodbath. Yes it sounds a veterans and a lot of people we've been you know like i said we've been discussing this for months like what this offseason is going to be like but it's starting to get closer to becoming a reality and i think is much as we try to prepare people as much as we talked about it. It's gonna be way worse than people even expected. There's going to be so many players that you know that are released in are out there and then the free agency period is going to be so much crazier because as mike alluded to yesterday. You're going to have like you usually do that first. And second day the superstars the high price guys. The guys are in the most demand are going to be day one and day. Two of free agency and then veterans are just going to be sitting out there. And you're going to have a case where you're starting training camp in july. And you have thirty forty potential starters. That don't have a job and they're gonna have to take a lot less money than they think they're gonna take this year you know. Maybe that includes some sort of negotiation for down the line and decided to multi year deals. That are very flexible very team friendly for this year and then they go up in future years because that The new tv deal kicks in and the money goes up even higher. You're going to have some of those. But it's going to be very very very weird and unpredictable off season where i think as much as we can say it in your if you're listening right now to the podcast you're probably like how crazy is it going to be. Just wait. just wait and see when mayock said yesterday. They're going to be involved in free agency like you said you know. Part of his quotas. Maybe a month into it i mean and now might be a lot of teams as you're saying. I mean that might be a team waiting. All the way to clamp begins because with this cap A lot of guys think they're gonna make time you know you have through. We have about what is it. Three or four receivers out there who are be big time receivers if they don't if they don't go back to their respective teams and they might be thinking hannigan eighteen or nineteen million and they might find out that it's ten or eleven. I mean with the top three or four receivers on the market so now that might be a good thing for a team. Like the raiders. Who might be looking for a number one receiver. And you're not gonna have to pay as much. There would be competition for guys like that between you know a lot of teams but you know i think that quote set at all about the bloodbath and i think you know this cap is going to be a reality check for a lot of dudes who think they're gonna hit the market and make a ton of money. Now i will say. I think i think the high end guys. The top guys are going to get their normal big deals like. I still think those are going to happen. It's that next level of guy. It's the next level of player the veteran player who just really solid serviceable starter. Who has been contributing for four or five years. Those are the guys to really watch your h. The.

"Of play out on the stage and the super bowl where really the the reason. The biggest reason in my opinion that tampa bay was able to win that. That's the slowdown prolific. Oftens offense league was because of a formidable pass rush away. They able to control the line of scrimmage. The raiders can is closer to doing that and bringing in establish veteran defensive lineman a real heavy hitter somebody that can rush the passer Maybe you know an edge. Linebacker stand up a linebacker. Some somebody like that. Whoever that that to me. I feel like is is priority number one and then from there building the defense. I think they can use defensive back safety. Maybe a veteran corner. There's obviously they need Help everywhere on the defense side of all our could use help everywhere. But i think that's kind of the priorities. My opinion order where we'll go offensive line secondary and then linebacker where i think they were solid for the most part last season. What what. I won't ask you ve years. Do you think there are already tweets that need to be made of his offense or are you expecting any any tweaks with your on the office side while maybe on that offensive line what do you what do you think is coming from mass standpoint. Yeah and i think that one you know when we talk about the defense Almost exclusively You know certainly don't want to give the impression that the offense is perfect and that there's nothing that needs to be done and there's a couple of things that just completely jump out at you first of all what's gonna happen with trump brown What's going to happen with richie incognito. What's going to happen with denzel. good who's a pending free agent. What's gonna happen in nelson snag. Lar- appending free agent at wide receiver So those are four critical players are in you know Players that one way or another the decision that the raiders make On on all four is going to determine additional moves or whether they need to make any additional moves. Chuck brown is scheduled to make fourteen million dollars. it's interesting to me that He's been very Active in terms of posting videos of themselves working out You know obviously that's that would be a good sign if you're a raider fan that that you know he's healthy and that he's putting in the work In in the off seasons little conspicuous to me When we we've talked about this quite a bit Sam the the guaranteed money has run out of his contracts. He's on a pay per play. Basis there's no guarantee that he's even coming back with the raiders at that especially at that at that number of kind of interesting that all of a sudden you know he's You know mr workout warrior and letting everybody know But we'll just leave that at that For obvious reasons What has been a motivation of lease. And he's ready to rock and roll. That would solve a huge huge huge potential issue. Because you know with trump brown the offensive line is just better offense like the offense is a better offense without him. They need to fill that hole. And so we'll see what the what the raiders decided to their. You know richie incognito Sounds like he's back to work it out. I don't know some thirty seven years old coming off an achilles tendon injury You know He he's five point seven against the cap What do you. What do you think there's too much of a chance to take back to bring a player of that age. I know he's he's important in. The raiders missed him. They asked you speak last year especially in that. Run game if he's healthy and it has one more year left at him you know. That's that's not bad either. He asked to kind of gauge. Where he's at. I think and then the team of course has today's where he's at and if they think they can upgrade whether that's free agency or the draft i mean where do they feel like the rat. I think they're they drafted you know john simpson. Last year. i think with the plan of developing him into being a star on that offensive line. Is he ready to step in and fill that void in take over if if he is. Maybe the raiders for ways we reaching a cockatiel a move on if he's not enriching cognitive healthy and feeling good and there's an understanding there then may maybe he's back but i've said this on the podcasts multiple times vinnie. I don't think you could ever have so many good offensive lineman in one shock me. If they they look in the draft you know maybe in the later rounds to to add an offensive lineman or to to possibly develops just think the trenches is so important in the nfl and the rest of the offense is rock solid. We know deer while i was one of the best playmakers in all football regardless position. The young receivers have have room to develop a room to grow. You have an established back in josh jacobs that that of evolve as a pass catcher last year's a little bit more well rounded in is looking to bounce back off a solid year but not quite his rookie year and then the ended the the nelson agholor situation. What what they're gonna do their whether they're going to bring him back replace him. I'm not exactly sure We know that there's air but that to me the rest of the point being really long way of saying i think the offense for the most part is to find some skill position players der car. Like you said like we talked about is roxana quarterback there waller to me the offensive line feels like the only place that really needs legitimate significant tinkering or or is it that that really needs a close look. So it's it's it's it's to be interesting. It really is because there is a foundation there for a good team for good football team they. They showed signs signs of being a good football team Last year and were very good for for various functions during the twenty twenty season now is just about kind of solidifying the progress that they made so far. Yeah absolutely and You know There are wide receiver possibilities out there. If they don't resign including on their own rosser bryan edwards is ready to take a big step forward You know so. We'll see if if they don't get it done with nelson. I expect them to get it done with nelson agholor. But you have ryan edwards kinda waiting in the wings. Henry ruggs is the. There's an expectation that he's gonna take a big step forward In year two and that in itself you know when we're talking about the offense and You know an and not ignoring it. Necessarily as the raiders. Go about china Get the defense squared away. There's there's options in house. There's there's players in house at the raiders fully expect to take big step forwards in their second year And in some cases third year and that means that that in and of itself You know Could result in improvement. Offensively you know if you could get henry ruggs. More involved in the offense defense is going to be more explosive. If you can get bryan edwards more involved in the offense especially In that red zone. I think that that's where they're really looking at him. To be a factor. That improves the offense. You don't necessarily have to go out and get players. You just need players. That are here to get better same with the defense. So you know guys. Like david are net. Trayvon mullen and max crosby clearly jonathan abram And even you know Cory littleton if if somehow some way gus bradley and his staff can get to get cory littleton to be more the player that he was with the rams. That's almost like getting another player. Yeah right because he wasn't he didn't didn't. There was nothing about cory littleton last year. That reminded me of cory littleton in los angeles. there wasn't and i just. I refuse to believe that cory littleton is forgotten how to play football And so it'll be interesting to see how he's utilized. This shared the kind of bounce back year that he's capable of and if he is it's kind of a game changer. On that defense one hundred percent a hundred percent. Especially i mean..

Trayvon mullen john simpson los angeles Cory littleton Sam jonathan abram cory littleton Chuck brown richie incognito Last year bryan edwards david max crosby cory rosser bryan edwards denzel josh jacobs littleton fourteen million dollars ryan edwards

"Feel like there's just more there's more you know it's we're we're we're going to get the super bowl is about to happen right and then after that. We're not going to have much. You know people talking. There's not be as much to talk about right but this is the kind of stuff that starts to happen. names like this get dropped and potential ideas and trades and people get excited about. I looked around at the other In a raiders People do the guys covering the raiders analysts the journalist the reporters and i haven't really seen anything else any comments about this so i'm just going to take it with a grain of salt for now. You know not that he's wrong. that seems called. i'm sure they have. I'm absolutely sure teams. that's not. That's not a wild idea at all but to think that you know this is like a really high likely i believe. He said i don't know if he said in the tweet or another following tweet or if it was someone is article but i i i believe that. He also mentioned that. He doesn't think it's likely target shirt traded again. That's just the smart way to look at this. The likelihood of car gantry listens raptors up here the likelihood that cargo straight from the raiders. Not high not high at all the likelihood that teams are calling the raiders high. That's what that's what good managers do. That's their job. So that's very high of a chance the chance that if the raiders traded derek carr they would go through the shawn watson high obviously but the chance that they even get to that opportunity of going after the son watson. I don't think it's high because they're not gonna turn derek carr so Unless again like i said unless they get offer their blown away with a totally get it. But they're not shopping them. Just not the raiders. Car the raiders like car. You know many raider fans will acknowledge. That car isn't necessarily the issue again. This is not to say that. There's not bitter quarterbacks. This is not to say that cars top five quarterback or some elite level quarterback. He might not be. He might not be that the historic really good last year. But the raiders. Having one they did have a woman. Gar when the raiders win with. Derek carr everyone changes tuna derek carr outside outside of the raider fans. Even fans dig frustrated. Obviously i get frustrated. I see card you think. Sometimes i'm like man you know but i don't ever say car is the single reason. Why the raiders can't win. I don't look at it though. I don't look at cars. The reason the thing holding him back airing. The defense is atrocious. They have some playmakers on defense of young guys that i'm sure they're looking to make major steps major leaps and they get better and better a new defensive staff and town which hopefully can simplify things a little bit. Make things a little better and you know just over well overall perform well. Hopefully the draft. Will you know in fuses team or more more youth talented defensive players and you know some offense of guys but overall. Don't think the raiders mcginn. I know bias. I understand this. But i don't think. The raiders are far from being applied team. I think we've seen that last year. Obviously they have a a monster in their own division that stands in front of them that makes it makes it very impossible. You know it makes it almost impossible. It feels like sometimes. But yeah i mean. Car is not the problem and the raiders are not actively shopping him. This is simply if it's true. Teams are calling does not crazy at all nothing crazy about and we're gonna continue to see shawn watson tied to every team they could possibly do because it's an awesome looking headline. Let's be honest. let's be honest. I'm sure every single team outside of a team. But a few quarterbacks out there have written articles have posted articles and content about shawn watson in their team. It looks good. Everyone wants to shawn watson. he's fucking good. If a ball so of course people are excited. They like the topic is fun. I'm going to be decided excited about this. On wherever he goes because some people when he would come into the league. He said he couldn't play football and he couldn't throw the football and all kinds of ridiculous metrics. They were making up about him. He's a good player. he's really really really really really really good. And he's gonna make some team really happy you know whether it's whether the texans pull off some some voodoo and keep them some some magic against him on what they got on them but if they keep awesome good for them but if not he's gonna make a team happy. There's no other way to put it. There's no other way to put it and when it comes to the price to pay for him is really i mean. He's a young elite quarterback. Whatever your team goes up form is basically worth it you know as long as your team is close somewhat. Close competitive you know. Be the champion and a playoff team. It's worth it but it does trip me out. When i see trades like darren waller josh jacobs. Derek carr for fourteen first round picks. Relax on does sound realistic here. You our realistic. And then say that you couldn't get a first round draft pick or potentially to schrafft's for derek carr. That's crazy that's crazy i promise. You the raiders would get a first round draft pick for derek Potentially multiple multiple graphics. They would get it. He is not a bad quarterback and teams. Don't look at him as a quarterback so he would get that. I really believe that That's not a question to me. So what we'll see. If any new news comes out about the other breaking news any other tweets or anything or anyone else takes a little further but for now. That's my opinion on it. That's how i feel about it. I'm curious your thoughts. I'm curious what you think is going to transpire. I'm really curious where you know how curious what you think about how this is all watch the situations at take because this thing commuter drag on a really long or it could end quick and all this controversy about what teams to stop. I don't mind it either way. It's fun to kind of the idea of it but Yeah dirk are starting next. Season will be raiders quarterback unless something crazy offer and she says what it is man and any team if they didn't have starting quarterback that they were comfortable with or that they really believed in. Should we pursue john watson facts absolutely facts. That's it guys. I'll catch you tomorrow as always be kind. Be great ki gosh..

"The top news. Or something raiders fan so the algorithm pulls things towards me and Vincent bonds ignore. I hope i'm pronouncing that right. But at vinnie bonds. ignore again b. o. N. s. i n. o. r. e. big as nation reporter review journal covers the raiders Nfl insider for ellie's am five. Seventy sports drops the tweet three hours ago when i'm recording this and he says multiple. Nfl sources indicate to me that derek carr is hot commodity and it is expected that multiple teams will pursue him via trade. That could lead to the raiders. Pursue desha watson any blockbuster trade all right so i'm gonna try to unpack this in a in a quick manner because there. There's a lot going on here in this right. And this is now being carried out by their new sources. Spf tweet something to the saying. Some you know something. Somewhere about israel underworld number two in a row row world and so people were talking right So a couple of things. He is a legit verified source. So it's not just random Is not all the raiders sources talking like this right now so he. He's he's coming out with this first and then other people around we'll see how they comment on it. But let's just let's just the obvious of your. Derek carr is a hot commodity well. Yeah he's a starting quarterback in the nfl. He actually played really good last year. Minus all the shit talk in people wanna do about derek carr as bad as they to say he is legitimately. The number spoke for themselves. He beat patrick mahomes in the chiefs. Slasher even i mean he. He played well if you if you think that. Derek carr is why the raiders. Were not a playoff team. Like not in the playoffs. And if you dare cars reason why they didn't win enough games. And if you think derek carr is the problem in las vegas you. You're not watching the game. Such stray fact There's no way you're watching the games and you go well. the raiders. biggest problem is definitely derek. Are the reason. The raiders are in the playoffs is definitely derek carr. If you're saying that you're not watching the game you're literally reading twitter headlines and you're not watching football that's fine that's fine. There's a lot of people like that. I get it And as it's fun you know to hate on. Derek carr and the raiders is cool again it The fact is if you watch the games you know. He's not the issue is he. Desha watching no. He is not is he. Patrick mahomes no is not is he. A top five wrecking the nfl. He is not just the facts. That's also the facts. Both could be true. Is he top fifteen. Potentially you know and as good enough to win you in my opinion if you have everything else clicking if you have a top flight defense if you have play makers all over the field that put you in playoff super bowl contention. He's not patrick. Mahomes guys he's not as a raider. Fan is very easy to say that he's not five guys very easy. That's not a problem. Saudi do fine only five teams quarterbacks. So it's okay. We can't expect every every team to have that so even as raider fan. It's okay to say that but their car is not the problem. That's number one so let's just clear out the way is you already. I'm sure he is. I'm sure there's teams who feel like they could use derek car. I pick tons of teams across the nfl. Who i'd rather have derek carr then their quarterback or their quarterback situation or whatever it is obviously this is going to change as teams. You're drafting quarterbacks. In this year's draft teams are trading record. Axes things happening. So it's a fluid situation. But if you're gonna lose the shawn. Watson is derek carr the worst thing that can happen to you. They had a bad experience with his brother. But even then it probably wasn't his brother's fault you know. They had a horrible offensive line. There's a lot of things that transpired Dirk aren't houston would be kinda hilarious. Actually when you think about it but let's just look at the tweet embryo quick. He's expected it's expected that multiple teams will pursue him via trade multiple teams explore trades. All different kinds of players all different kinds of teams. This isn't really a big deal and it's not really anything special right like if you have a team at. Your quarterback is halfway decent. It's likely that someone's called you like that's just happens so that's not a surprise either right so it's not a surprise. We g seen matthew stafford get traded for jared goff. Dad happened right so if that happened. That means any quarterback could be called about so. It doesn't say the raiders shopping. Derek carr like it doesn't say he's on the block. It doesn't say you know. The raiders are looking to move off from derek. Cars of the raiders are actively shopping. Him that's not what this says. Some says at all. So do i believe the raiders are look into trey derek. Carr no do. I believe that. The raiders got a deal. They couldn't pass up in their minds. Four derek carr. Would they do it sure. What team You you would hope. We jam a good coach and management would do that I mean the raiders have done it before in the past not not necessarily with the staff obviously in this general manager. But they've got rid of the big player so that wouldn't be surprising Do i think it's going to happen. I mean well. Let's let's let's bounce around the address to the sweeter that could lead to the raiders pursuing the shawn watson. Okay so again. This isn't saying. The raiders are actively shopping derek carr because they want to shawn watson. This is simply saying that the that the raiders are getting calls and that if they traded derek carr they would go after the shawn watson they they could lead to them going after shawn watson. That's that's obvious if you trade. Derek carr if you trade your franchise quarterback if you trade the starter for the last eight years. Whatever playing for of course you're going to look for the next best option and to shawn watson is the better option so yeah all this it can be real this is. There's facts here. There's no there's no substantial information here except that teams are called about derrick. Okay but that doesn't mean anything Unless the raiders. Do something about it right now. I've seen also people take in this and kind of trans. You know run within. While the raiders are going to try to trade for shawn watson straight up you know. Derek carr plus pieces for shawn watson. I'm all good shawn watson. Come into the raiders at. I'm good trade derek. Carr if you have to four shawn watson type of situation. I'm not cool trained. Derek carr just for you know any situation but if the shawn watson is the end result i'm good with it however i see people getting crazy. Derek carr a bunch of first round draft picks. Darren waller josh. Jacobs acp stat. That's when you get silly when you get. It doesn't even seem like that would happen. So would the trade. Derek carr sure they got blown away with the deal. Are they looking to trade. Derek carr absolutely not With a trade for was't if they traded derek carr of course who wouldn't the obviously right all. I think it's all pretty cut and dry. I think just crazy when people start getting you know they turn on their madden and they start thinking like. Oh my god. The raiders entry jerker. Darren waller josh jacobs every single player on the team plus other graphics the next twenty years for just watson. It's not gonna happen. I was gonna happen here. People if the raiders trated british on watson somehow and they ended up with him. Fantastic as a raider fan as a fantasy fan. I would be here for all of that. If derek carr changes teams. i would still be a fan. I would think that the author the weapons of that offense are super viable with derek. Carr there he is not going to hurt offense at all. If jared goff isn't hurting offense their cars are hurting offense either. It's just not happening so if either one of these guys get moved. I'm here for it. I'm not looking down on the assets on the team. I'm not looking down the player themselves. I'm happy about all of it. But i mean when this kind of stuff. His twitter you know. I'm talking about the news here. And i like i like you know breaking down these these big headlines you guys and getting into them from a fantasy perspective and nfl perspective. Just all around But you know when. I seen the raider thing at the headline no. Your boy gets emotional. Passionate by raiders. So yeah i wanted to. I wanted to immediately give my thoughts on this. Just literally i. I seen the headline on twitter. Turn the mic on turn approach was on a second i got. I gotta get with. Macleod dodgers kinds. We talk about this. We got we talk about things. So i see the tweets being retweeted like crazy and favor like crazy. So i mean we'll see you know how this develops if you will But i.

"Crystal joined by starting Pro Bowl outside linebacker Bradley, Chub and Bradley. It was a tough go in Vegas. I think Drew's injury may have helped contribute to that. How different does this Raiders team look as they have now spiraled here since the last time you guys saw them compared to where they were in Vegas and what you're going to see. When they come to empower field in mind. Yeah, I mean, I feel like there stood a record. Doesn't those paints a couple games doesn't reflect what I see on family. There's still a good tennis. They've got great running back with Jack Jacobs. They got weapons on the receivers with got a great good online and their car, So I mean, I feel like they were not lacking in talent. So we're gonna have to bring my a game 100% and go out there and play assigned this town football for this last one and ended up strong. Well. And speaking of Derek Carr. He's a guy Just get through the ball super fast. Hey, came in here to start the year. A couple years ago, 29 of 32 was get rid of the ball in 1.8 seconds. I know as much as von loved getting to Philip Rivers, he never gets to Derek Carr. You've only got half a sack against him. What challenges does he present? Just like you said. He gets the ball out so fast. He they do a good job of getting the receivers out on the perimeter. Just they find a little bit of small space just to get it in there, and we're just gonna get a good job of fucking our hands up in helping our DVDs out. They helped us out all year. We've gotta be able to help him out. Well, so then how big will it be to start this new year with a win? And end the season, although it's not a trip to the playoffs, But with a W heading into the offseason, like I said in the interview earlier after like anyone, and that feels good, positive thing and just like you said, Start the year off, but in the year at the same time on the high note is always best. Always gonna give us momentum for sure into 2021. We just need to carry it over. We just need to handle business and carried off my man over 2021. All right, then. Final thing I have for the last time we'll talk to you all season. How would you evaluate your year with everything coming back from the injury, the team missing the playoffs that you starting in the Pro Bowl? Oh, my God did a good job leading and stuff like that and working hard and all that, but I feel like it's all in there. Individual standpoint, Isolate I list a lot of plays out there in the field. Just being in my head was early couple games and these last couple games, just being in the wrong position trying to do too much, So I feel I left a couple hours and I just wanna be a better player next year and I'm gonna use this game. Uh, fortunately, Toe go out there, improve myself and be better me in 2021. Bradley. It's been a pleasure talking to you all year long for pre game And then when you join David Rick during the week, and we look forward to it next year, and for many more years to come. Congrats on that block Courage Award. Congrats again on the Pro Bowl start and on a big bounce back here and make it a great start to the new year with the win over the Raiders. Thanks so much. Yep. Thank you for everything Appreciates That's Broncos, starting trouble outside linebacker and Ed Block Courage Award winner Bradley. Chuck Ryan back to you. Thank you. B K appreciate that Broncos countdown to kickoff. Presented by Ortho Colorado collars on Lee Orthopedic Hospital. Partisan Tora Health. I'm Ryan Edwards. Reminder. You can stream today's game on your desktop computer and Broncos radio network. Com Walking you up to Broncos hosting the Los Vegas Raiders about an hour and 15 from now, Brandon Kristall, check with Bradley Chub. And now Brannan. Chris got a chance. Sit down with inside linebacker Josie Jule. Here's that conversation. When you look at this season you told us to being in here you wanted the chance to start you got the chance to start. You started every game. How do you evaluate the season when it's been? I think in a lot of ways the feeling personally, but nothing where you wanted to be recognized. Yeah, I think they're still We got a ways to go. Um, yeah. I mean, we had some some guy's injured. You know, we've we've been we've been having to play with other guys that still doing really? Well, um but really be interested, you know? Go if we had those guys like von and everybody else that wasn't injured, and but, you know, Yeah, it's just this season's hasn't gone the way we want to so far and and definitely not in the wind and losses and Things that we just need to prove on, I think is that accountability and everybody's just doing their job. In their job only even when we're in a sticky situations. Everybody wants to get going and try to somebody else's job on and try to do too much. I think that's kind of we've got herself into trouble last at least last three weeks is People trying to too much may cover up for somebody else. And I think we just need to stick to our guns and take you know what we do best, and I think we'll be fine. How rewarding is it for you? And I guess for Alexander and then for the two guys behind you that you guys haven't missed any games any snapped by my math. You guys will be the four players that have started all 16 games in a year that that is not an easy thing to do. Especially on your defense. Yeah, You know, I think I think it's The little bit of volumes, Torto some of the stuff people during the off season. Um I know all injures All injuries aren't you know you can't just you can't avoid him all. Sometimes they're gonna happen no matter what, but I think Some of the guys especially guys, They're healthier now did a really good job during the off season two. You know, to make sure and set themselves up for a really good season and not have any injury stuff. Old amount without missing and stuff like that. All right. So you're playing the Raiders for the second time? We know it's a rivalry. We know how much Broncos country and Raider Nation hate each other. You guys were right there with them in that fourth quarter gone away. A lot of it had to do with Drew's playing his injury. So how big will it be to get this revenge and end the season on a high note with a win over arrival? Yeah, I mean, it's it's gonna be awesome. It's a great opportunity for us. We just gotta make sure nobody checks out early. Um and everybody plays throughout the rest the rest of the game and rest of season. I mean, it's not over yet. We got this is the one big game and you want to end on a high note every year. Um, So you know, it's really important to us, and hopefully, you know, everybody's up for it. You know, we're about to go for practice here after a little bit, and, uh, hopefully everybody's um innit mindset wise. Do they look any different than when you saw him just a couple six weeks ago. You know, there isn't a lot of crazy things. They're different. Um, you know, I think they had some different place and there's some different trick plays that they have run. Um, our scheme plays you could say to, um, but nothing crazy. I mean, I think the Raiders and I think power always think a counter. Oh, I think of, you know, they're trying to run it right now. Your face And then they got some weapons outside so they can they can do a lot of things. All right there, you Brennan Crystal chatting with Broncos inside linebacker Josie Jules defense.
