"Steve Bertrand's coming up at four in the five o'clock hour, Steve is going to have on both candidates. From Chicago. 606 Sorry, Sixth congressional district. That's hard to say, Pete Sixth congressional district. Steve will do much better with it. They'll trust me. Representative Sean cast in and Jean Eyes will be on separately in the five o'clock hour. Also, Steve was mentioning He's going to have on some of the winners from that Chicago Winter design challenge We were talking about earlier so Stay tuned for Chicago's afternoon news with Mr Bertrand, but we've got some Chicago bears football tonight. So it's time for us to say load one of our three bears. Glen Kozlowski. Hey, Glenn, how are you, Bud? How are you? Mad Break to hear you on, man. Cool. It's good to hear you cause we haven't talked in a bunch of years. How are you? I'm good. I'm good. I got the height. We keep voice still and just, you know, living life and enjoy. Don't worry. Purity of puberty will come when you least expect it. You're going to get that deep. Max Armstrong Bear two very tone before you know it. Never will happen, but I'm okay with it by his last fight, Frankly, what less I will say this bears the three in one Go. Have we ever been pointing out? That was last week? Hey, look, we get another chance right cause have we ever been less excited about being three and one? I've never seen so many people depressed about two games over 504 games into the season. So here's the deal. I mean, if they would allot the birth game and then won the next three. We bill really good. Yeah, Uncle again that work. You don't look like anything If you the luck, and you're only as good as the last game was your last performed, but you know, that's how it worked. But the last game also game play Indianapolis that struck me This was a really good team that they locked. It was number one defense in the league, right, But it felt a little like that was our Dennis Green moment like here's where they are, who we thought we were like that. Is the real deal. Alrite way they thought we were whatever he ranted and raved and spit everywhere. I got it, but I think a lot of bears fans like, okay, that was the bears that we expect the season not the team that's suddenly miraculously comes from behind in the fourth quarter every week. What do you think we're going to see? Tonight is the Nick Foles era going to finally start producing some points in a full 60 minute game or How's it going to work? Well, here's the deal. Matt Maggie. I really liked the guy and I'm going to say, but I do think that he's a better head coach. Many of the play caller. What I mean by that is, you know Andy Reid. So you have these exceptions to the rule, right? Matt, where you have these guys that can call play and be the head coats, right? I don't think Nag. You could be that guy. He's the great head coats. The players want to play for him. He does a good job with all of them. He motivate people, but he really needs the hand over the play calling to somebody and what and he needs to just be the head coach because he can't do vote. And it's okay. But you know, we're sitting at three and one Tampa Bay comes then Tom Brady and I love Tom Brady just could be the murder supermodel. And why wouldn't we love a married people bottle right away? How could you not love the guy or time? Can't get any respect for his football in his great skills on the field. It's all about who we married. Very supermodel. That's it. No care of money. People will watch points. For three and one with a lot of injuries and the bears every chance tonight. Just go out there and They've got to run the ball first and foremost, and then they got to play. Great defense. You know it. You know, I you know, I was in Chicago for a long time, and I was up north. And there were the young guy at great length height named Bill, saying he was just a shooting guard. Hectic kids move of all get out. Great defense score points. What's the point of it, But that's what the barracks have to do. Great play. Nice guy. It's like great defense, and they got a score points. That's so be like Bill saying that kid from great Blake. Hi, Still, that came out of nowhere. And you know where I was where I was that we never had a kid that was sick, sick, So it was unusual to see him. So I went and watched him when he was really fun to watch. Stay focused, okay. Cause eso. Well, okay. What profits back to where the very beauty to be great. We've been. That's the point. Right here is, of course. Well, I would think that that goes without saying, But when when you say it like that You're taking me back to like a cow Fuller era where we're just managing the offense and the defense has to go out and win the game. Are we back to that know where the defense has to go on with the games? No, no, no, not not at all. Here's the deal, though. You got to run the football and you've got to try to run the football and and running the football of the mind that Right. But let's be honest. If we look at last week's game, anti V. Miller, who had won two games in Rome for us, you want across the middle, and he cringed because he saw take coming at him, and he just kind of short armed in alligator alligator, armed it and he dropped the ball and it was intercepted. That is the defining moment that were the defense now have to step up and say, Okay, we're going to shut you down. We're going to get the ball back and we'll go back and score. And they didn't do that. That's you know, that's what I'm talking about about great defense and scoring points when you do it. The moment that you have to do it well, Khalil Mack, not making that catch. Right and clear my plate. But I'm going to tell you no matter what you say, third down Anthony Miller going across the middle. It's going to be a first down. I think at that time we were only down eight points. Right? So we're We're touching down in two point conversion away. And Anthony Miller hit him right in his hands. Now there's only one day that would have made that Captain's name was tell me why you're going to see Oh, Course you have to think that would be one That said that Kai would get hit. You get 10 told by everybody and their mother. They would all cross him. But the guy was still catch the ball. It was unbelievable. Right, guys. We got.

"Alright, today show is gonna bake your bagels. Look, your mom. It's seriously this coming CU the Democrats are planning. I read a great article this weekend in the American mind. You know what it was called Shockingly. Coming to you. Appeared. I'm talking about that all last week. Terrific analysis of the Legitimate coup. The Democrats Democrats were planning in front of our faces right now. Amazing how it's not a bigger news story. I've got that. Hopefully we'll get to the Peter Stroke disastrous interview this weekend on DH. Of course, that story on Friday. The ridiculous story about President Trump on the military and the cemetery. I'll give you the truth on that. I've got the real scoop. So Bongino rule was in effect on Friday in case some of you are wondering why I don't talk about Welcome to Dan Bongino Showing this month they produced a Joe, How are you today after that weekend? Well, Kuku get you. How do you do? Yeah, it was okay. But today Yeah, yeah, way making it back. Yes, it was a long weekend. We have got some special surprises for you this week. Joe is well aware of them, maybe towards the end of the week. We'll be able to tell you a little bit more, but it's been a busy couple days. Sadly so all right, Let's get right to it Loaded show today. All right, let's go. All right, so All of last week. I've been mourning you. I'm just trying to do a public service. I promise you on my word on my credibility on everything that matters to me. I'm not tryingto unnecessarily scare you. I was traveling this weekend to a different place. And when I was travelling, a couple of people came up to me in a restaurant asked me some stuff and to those people, they watch my show. They know me who watching out. Did I not tell you the same thing? I'm telling my audience now. This coming CU the Democrats are planning in front of our eyes is a really, really big deal. Coming here. That sounds like I can't guarantee that it's not a conspiracy theory. I'm just using the democratsone words, folks. They are legitimately in front of your eyes talking about a coup. That sounds crazy. Doesn't does that sound crazy? There's some people out there who still think I'm making this up. So I was sent this article this weekend by no less than probably 2000 people. This thing must have one viral by guy I've seen on Fox. You know, I'm a contributor of their scene. I'm not. But I've seen him on TV. I watch the network too. I was in the American mind, the piece is called becoming coo. I didn't plan this. Michael Anton wrote it. Listen, folks, this is in the show notes. If there was ever a time to read the show notes it's today Bongino dot com slash newsletter. Subscribe to My show knows it's free. I'll e mail you this stuff every day. Don't we gotta hunt for read this. Read this and send it to your friends. What's the premise of the article? Bottom line up front. The premise of the article is this. There is a conspiracy going on right now. To basically overturn orthe overthrow the results of the 2020 election. If Donald Trump with Joe Biden wins, Jonah where everything will be okay, none of this will happen course yes. Trump wins. No matter how big the win is, he could win 49 a half out of 50 states using Joe Biden, man. They're not even hiding. The fact actually wouldn't be Jo'burg. Some states, Nebraska and Maine actually split up their electoral, so they're not even hiding it. And, as the author writes, which is a great great premise. What are the two rules of conspiracies? I'll get through this stuff in a second. Number one. Never talk about the conspiracy Member Fight Club. What's the first rule of fight club? Never talk about Fight Club. What's the second rule? That the best way to hide the conspiracy. The coup conspiracy is to pretend it's not a conspiracy at all, and that trumps doing it. 000 you're gonna love this show. Oh, State owned Let's go to screen shot number one from Michael Anton's terrific piece about the coming to this is a long one about a paragraph long but ladies and gentlemen, this is worth your time. You're talking about the ravings of Joe Biden and about not respecting the election results and things like that. And it says right here, this is an important they're openly advertising what they're going to do if they're going to lose, so quote from the piece One might dismiss such comments is the ravings of a dementia patient and has been who never got over his own electoral loss. Talking about buying Obviously. But before you do, consider this Over the summer, A story was deliberately leaked to the press of a meeting at which 100 Democrat Grandes anti trump, former Republicans and other ruling class apparatchiks got together. On George Soros is dime to game out various outcomes of the 2020 election. One such outcome with a clear Trump win. In that eventuality. Former Bill Clinton White House chief of staff John Podesta, playing Biden refused to concede. Pressuring states that Trump won to send Democrats to the formal electoral college vote and trusted that the military would take care of the rest. Um, we've already discussed this report. They're referencing in the Michael and Tom piece, the transition integrity project. If you haven't seen this report, look it up. I've got a lot more in this ahead. The lady running it Shock or Joe Has a long affiliation with George Soros. You know, liberal money guy loves to give money. Liverwurst. I know you're stunned by them Stun Rosa Brooks. I knowyou're shy. Hold your your your your astonishment contain it like a beach ball underwater there openly talking about states. Trump wins. Just sending Democrat electors to the House of Representatives. Anyway. No words We don't respect The popular vote within our state. And we're just going to send our people to elect Biden anyway. And we're gonna let quote the military take care of the rest, according to peace. Post. They're not hiding this. This is extremely dangerous. I cannot warn you in more dire or stronger terms right now. Be ready for a solid month off total chaos after the election. I'm not trying to scare you. I'm simply repeating to you with the Democrats are already telling us Member that famous Dennis Green meltdown the old coach, the Arizona Cardinals, the football team when they played the Bears, and they lost. The guy asked a stupid question, and Dennis Green melts down and says They are who we thought they were. They all remember that? Look it.

I thought we were we are and that is from the sunset band yes he he was on drums and doc Severinsen from The Tonight Show was on the horn always impressed by that yeah you got doc Severinsen to play on on a CD and I guess the check cashing. yeah exactly right all right cool so we're we're we're doing a football themed sports songs we love to do this and and we some some of the sports songs are actually legitimately good what we just heard doc Severinsen playing and that's a legitimately good yeah but some of them are terrible some of them are fun but that's the that's the that's the part of that's part of the fun of sports song so we're we gonna go next when we go to one thirty eight and it's so one of our favorites Terry Bradshaw he's been singing for years and we played some around the the Superbowl work because he was on the mask thing here yeah but in the seventies he was putting out legitimate country records and he was making the charts not high on the charts but you know he was making the top forty in country music yeah and by the way the mass singer comes back in two weeks and I call I am not the only or excited I think Tom do you watch the Max mast singer no good because I'm not really one for scene competitions and like I'm not gonna lie I thought this was kind of a dumb show it's the it's the it's the it's the it's the most ridiculous show that's ever been on TV but you love it I I don't well what what are they dressed as their men dressed as like mascots so it's like a man's got coming out in singing I love the show I was doing in the stage craft are a mating yeah I go I took time you got to watch it I know I know that you can kind of get sucked and give it a shot I will do it for you yeah I'll do it for Rick yeah but I'm I'm going with trepidation yeah it is it no I don't not gonna say it's it's a it is it is one of the stupidest shows I've ever seen not the wire and I don't watch no my god but I've watched every episode and I loved every episode but I knew it was Terry Bradshaw before you took the mask because I was like because they they drop hints they drop hints at you to see if you can guess who the man I was Rumer Willis I don't know why I knew it was her. think of who who who I got right well we'll talk about that later yeah but anyway talking briefly get Terry Bradshaw who had a legitimate music career and in nineteen seventy six he he had a hit with with the Hank Williams classic called I'm so lonesome I could cry so why don't we listen to it here Terry Bradshaw. the. to. is. the. "If they have a little bit of a skepticism around how good this kid actually is going to be what they should recall is he is twenty nine thousand nine hundred twenty district twenty I believe so it it it. There's plenty of talk. You know, there's plenty of time for him to to excel. But he he should have probably Dortmund if they were going to utilize him the way that they have they should have just let him go and start practicing with with the Chelsea system and go to London and begin his career there because we really haven't done anything with him of significant notes, and so therefore really kind of a waste. Yeah. They got the the the extra three or four months out of him. But they haven't utilized them at all on the pitch. All right. Well, crazy. There's what like five matches left in the Bundesliga. It's coming to a close like all the other leagues. What is your final prediction can Dorman pull it off? Can they women these last couple of matches? Is there a match where he think Byron could slip and this could be black yellows year. No, not really. Well. I what I had this big. I think I was really excited, but you know, at least a realistic, you're on then that's one here. The realism is this Dortmund has to. And I know that people think shock is garbage this year. And you look at him in the table, and they are I mean as as Dennis Green once said in American football. You are what your record says, you are or was that somebody else, I think it was in screen anyway, it goes beyond just go for it. Yeah. Then agree. Yeah. So yes, alcohol is the fifteenth best team in the Bundesliga. Okay. But they are Dortmund's rivals. You throw point totals wins losses and draws out the book you, and I both know that when it comes to Darby. Okay. There is when it Spurs arsenal. It doesn't matter. How many games you've lost at how many games you want? That's gonna be a bloodbath. Right. Same thing with Dortmund shock. That's going to be test number one. Okay. Shock is going to be. I think much tougher to beat this time round. And they were the last. Time and the final match Jay is against Bruce. You mentioned gut balk, and they are still trying to go out for Champions League. Top four finish Dortmund's gonna get their absolute best shot. Okay. So they have the Tucker remaining program by by a long shot. Byron doesn't really have a game that I see do. I I'm looking at just because I'm looking at the matches. Now do young be read. I see what you're saying. Okay. Violence Byron's record is impeccable against Rb lifesaving they've they've only Byron his only drop points them one time in the three seasons that they've been in the Bundesliga. So yeah. So that's that. I see what you're saying. I know that that is a top four side. I know that they are almost a lock with six games to go for a second Champions League appearance in the last three seasons, and that's impressive. And they have t-mobil gonna and they have a young..

So you guys are probably I I'm assuming that's why you're up there. First, Chris, no, there's more. That story. We'll go. Right. Chris start in Baltimore. I thought you started your as as as a Baltimore. Yeah. I play one year in Baltimore. And. Actually, wasn't wasn't even full year as far as calendar year as far as being there. We got there in August. I mean, July can't and we're moving in April the next year, you guys know players head of time that that move was going to happen. No. We did not know. I mean, we we had no privileged any any first-hand information. What was it like to find out a in April that you have to move your family, and you weren't even being traded? It was. I mean, the twenty two twenty three year old kid at that time. It didn't look that. Or man, you know, I was playing professional football player with the Baltimore than in Annapolis cold played with the Atlanta Falcons also played in Minnesota and a really circular part of your career because you started in college northwestern for then is green. And then you went to finish your career with the Minnesota Vikings for Dennis Green. That would have been fun to go back to your college. Coach again, actually, it was it was. Going full circle. And and then as green who since passed away, but he played a big role in my career as far as over neat. All. Convinced me that I had a future an offense tackle. And and moving me there my senior year in college so north western so, yeah, it was it was pretty cool. Dennis Green this Jack again, Dennis Green. And I had a cross paths back in the early. Seventies. Went to university of Iowa as the defensive backs coach coach Richie Solomon at that time. And Dennis was on the it was a graduate assistant. He had played Lou in Canada. And then he came to Iowa's a graduate assistant football coach early in his coaching career. So two names that I'm very familiar with. Thing that stands out. And I remember about him was that I think he would have been better general manager. I mean, I thought he was really good coats. But as far as evaluating talent. And I think he would have been a great general manager. I mean just delegating. I mean, just I just think about the staff we had and then a soda when we hit Brian Billick is our offense coordinator. So he Dungy with defensive coordinator Monte kiffin was linebackers code. I mean, just went on and on guys who became you know, coaches and Super Bowl champion. Wanna tell the story of doing the home visit this past December and Christmas, an incredible meal of Pya and. Defeating a lot some big big young men is sons I mean well over three hundred pounds both of his sons, and but after the meals over and credible meal top five I mean, I would have to say top five of in my my experiences. It's pretty good college coach making home visit. But Chris pulled me aside, and he puts his arm around my shoulder..

"Lately, you know, you say for the last two years and it finally throwing the challenge flag on Jerry Jones. Here's why four years ago after the notorious Dez caught it game. Jason Garrett became a free agent. And nobody else offered him a job. Everybody knew his contract was expiring at the end of the season the season ended after the divisional round. And it was just re up with the Cowboys. He didn't want to leave. But no one came after him. So I don't buy this idea that five teams would have wanted him. If anything Garrett is viewed almost like a Mike McCarthy where the offense is too inflexible. There's no creativity. There's no adjustments. We heard the stories and Jerry Jones confirmed yesterday that they they had the code cracked as relates to their defensive alignment and that goes back to coaching. So I don't buy. Five teams would have wanted him in all due respect. I'm not sure anyone would have. Yeah. I mean, I respect Jerry Jones loyalty to Jason Garrett. But I mean, I'm with you there. I mean that that's that's Bs. I'm throwing the challenge flag on that as well. I mean five teams after Jason Garrett. That's ridiculousness say maybe there've been a team that would have danced in Florida with him. But yeah, I think you're Mike McCarthy comparison is very fair to wear fan base is would have been like really we're going to bring this guy in and you know, he's only won two playoff games. And all those things would it came up, and I'm not buying it. All right now during that same interview, and as a response to what Jerry Jones said regarding the desirability that would apply to Jason Garrett. Jones was asked for the record what this means for the future of Jason Garrett in Dallas. Here's what Jones had to say. Listen, very carefully. Put some kind of statement out that says this is what we're gonna do when we might have an opportunity here next week. This is the time when these things are thought about this is the time when chewed on. This is the time when you may see an opportunity next week, it didn't know existed this week in the area of personnel are in the area of coaching. And I'm not trying to be cute here. I'm just saying that one of the advantages that we have is that we can operate with that kind of flexibility. Jerry is not trying to be cute. Hip to your hand unless they're in the process of cloning. John, Sean McVay, and the experiment won't be over until next week. Like what other circumstance changes from this week to next week? Here's what changes coaches who are currently employed, and, you know, working become available when their seasons, and and this isn't an assistant coach, this is the long rumored connection between and there is a real friendship between Jerry Jones, and Sean Payton, and there's been plenty of speculation about Sean Payton's future. And I look I don't I know that Sean Payton has has been upset in the past. When people throw his name out there is potentially leaving New Orleans, but Jones is the one who's essentially thrown his name after because that's who is talking about Chris. That's the opportunity that may be there next week. If the saints lose to the Rams on Sunday, all of a sudden, here's Sean paid me. Why else would you not say? Of course, Jason GARRETT'S our head coach because there is a chance with the bird in the hand to hold onto that burden hand just for a week. Because the two in the Bush may be available in the form of Sean Payton. Yeah, I mean when I heard the, quote, that's exactly what I thought of as well. I mean, when he said there might be an opportunity next week as in if the saints lose to the Rams there might be this coach, that's maybe looking to change sides. I mean, I I guess yes. He's we've always like you said have heard rumors of Sean Payton and the relationship of the Dallas Cowboys and he had worked there before. And the Dallas Cowboys is always one of those bright new bright, shiny objects that any head coach is like, wow, it'd be pretty cool to be the head coach of America's team. They certainly do have their own aura and fan base all around the country. So I find it hard to believe that Sean Payton would leave New Orleans right now because they are built to be back in the same position next year. But at one of these in one of these years, he's probably going to be thinking. All right. This has got to be drew Brees his last year or maybe I need to. Get out of dodge at some point. So I'm with you. And I kind of thought the same thing. But I just can't imagine Sean Payton leaving the saints right now. After some of the struggles they've had and now he's built them up to be a perennial Super Bowl contender really right now. And he's got the organization, right? Where he wants I agree with you. But from Jerry Jones perspective, he must think it sufficiently real, or at least the door is cracked a little bit that maybe after this week. Maybe maybe breeze does walkaway who knows? But here's the other factor that I think is swirling around and Jerry Jones mind. Yeah. He better be ready to jump on Sean Payton before Sean Payton gets jumped on by the Browns because I think that is something to be to be keeping an eye on in the future. And I think they decided to keep Freddie kitchens because look at work about last year. Let's see our plays out. If it doesn't work. We can always hire somebody else, and maybe the door opens for Peyton in Cleveland before Jerry has a chance to yank in through the door to Dallas. So, you know, hey, Jerry aggressive businessman. And he knows what he wants. And he goes and gets it. And he throws whatever money on the table is necessary to get Sean Payton to bite and now good luck complying with the Rooney rule. And Jerry Jones went down this road fifteen years ago when he hired Bill Parcells and and did a phone interview of Dennis Green. So he could check the box and the league said you can't do phone interviews in the future and asked to be in person. But if everyone will know what he's doing if he fires Jason Garrett next week if the saints lose on Sunday because he essentially said it yesterday without saying. Yeah. Well, I mean, I don't know. I mean is he looking at an Eric b enemy. Is there an assistant that maybe we're missing I'm just throwing you know food for thought out there. But obviously, yes, he's not making the statement. They are in a valuation bode as far as where where they want to see the future of their organization going, and he hasn't given Jason Garrett that last stamp of approval to say, you're here, and you're the guy for the next few years, or whatever it may be and they're thinking about it the Jones families having some meetings. Cowboys are having those thoughts and those meetings.

"You'll hear the reaction from the nurses. It is incredible audio and we're gonna get back to that. So before we do that. You know, there has been a lot of people taking shots at the cardinals. And they're hiring of their new head coach cliff Kingsbury, and you know, we had was it. Stephen a Smith the other day, saying what MAC and his voice. What does he say? He looks like he should be on the bachelor on the sideline of an NFL. It's exactly what he said how? Well, however. So you got that. Okay. Kingsbury good-looking guy thirty nine years old looks like Ryan Gosling. I don't mind you taking taking shots at the cardinals as long as it's about football. If it's about your looks or about something else though, man what what are you doing? Well, now, we've got another commentator that says, well, he got the job why Kingsbury fits all the criteria to be a head coach of the NFL. He's an offensive genius. He's young and he's white and not necessarily in that order. So this man is name is Dale Hansen 'institution in Dallas. Saying that it is it is because he's white that he has a job. And Dale Dale Hansen is white by the way. Okay. Well, what I would tell Dale Hansen is this do you know, the history of the Arizona Cardinals. Do you know that they had an African American general manager, do you know that they've had to black head coaches? I mean, Dennis Green was a coach here. We know that was before the stadium in Glendale, right? He's still played at ASU was around that time. You know, Steve Wilks got a shot here. And he didn't get fired because he was black. He got fired because he was bad right now. Didn't do a good job. Right. But the cardinals they hired him because he's white. Well, now's you realize wrong. You have to know the history of the Zona cardinals. And I hear what you're saying. But the thing that's going around the league. Now is that you only have at of all the hires going on you still only have two black head coaches. There have been six new coaches hired so far all white and two coaches of color. They are replacing Stephen Wilkes fired in Arizona after just one year. Vance Joseph in Denver after just to hold on. Vance Joseph was just hired by the Arizona Cardinals as offensive coordinator. It's going to be a defensive coordinator not as a head coach though. Okay. So you're saying that Denver have a good year. No Joseph got fired. Did cardinals have a good year. No, no. That's why Wilkes got fired. Even the Green Bay Packers coach got fired after many, many, many many many winning seasons and a Super Bowl. He's white. He got fired. Right. So I really sure. And and you know, what I hope this doesn't affect the cardinals adversely like well. The only reason they hired Vance Joseph was because he's black not because he's going to bring a great defense of mind to the cardinals. I hope that's not what's going on here. You don't think that the cardinals have to say, oh, well, we've got to put some some black people right sideline. But that was that was the rule about twenty years ago in the NFL, but they've already hired two black head coaches. And they've had a black general manager of the cardinals. Really the cardinals don't care what color your skin is the cardinals care about winning and Steve Wilks got fired because he didn't know how to win and he was in way over his head. Nice guy. Don't get me wrong. Right. I really like him. I liked him from day one as a human being as a coach. But you're also oversaw. You're also gonna. Say or people are going to say, though, you've got a league that is seventy to eighty percent black yet all the owners are white most of the head coaches, you know, ninety percent of the head coach is next season will be white and to that I say, I don't know. I as a white guy all I know is. And this is just my experience if you're really really really good. You advance. I don't know about Jim Caldwell if he'll ever find another job. I don't know if Mike Tomlin if he's ever let go or quits, you know, I don't know if he'll ever find my don't in Pittsburgh. I don't know. I just know that if you're really good you rise to the top of your profession. I would not want to be hired because of my skin color. I would not want to be hired because I was guilted into it by someone else. That doesn't say anything about my ability or my character. It's more about what you think and feel so I I don't know why this guy again is very respected. He's an icon in Dallas. Why he is getting all over the higher of click cliff Kingsbury who is young white male. I don't know of the last thirteen coaching hires in the NFL over two seasons. The only minority higher has was Steve looks and he was fired after just one year right because he's.

"I wanna ask you a question Chris because the Minnesota Vikings, unfortunately, also have a bit of a tortured playoff history and their fans they before you got there. They lost. What four Super Bowls in their in their history. Could you guys as players in the game feel the energy in the stadium? When the fans got tight when it got nervous because that's because one of the things you're talking about is not just Pat Mahomes in the team. But when we the only reason the history matters is I mean, Pat, Mahomes, literally wasn't born the last time, they wanna home playoff in the history doesn't matter Pat moms, but if you can feel the energy in a stadium is that a real thing the energy into stadium is a real thing. But what's more real is? What is the history of either the players, and are the coaches, so I was also with Dennis Green. I was with bud. He Ryan when they were trying to get their first playoff win. Philadelphia's organization hadn't had playoff success Minnesota hadn't had playoff success and Super Bowl. But they have plenty of the years where they want some games in the playoff. So it's not the same as Kansas City. It's a different set of pressure. But we knew the pressure was owned any green as far as an African American coach trying to get his first playoff win. Randall Cunningham trying to help him have playoff success. Oh, those things become real now being naive is not an excuse. All right. Because that's what happens you play the first half of these games, man. You are naive to what really playoff games about. And then third quarter. You like, wow. How many possessions are going to have? So how you get started in this game and the rhythm..

I know that people know coaches move and leave, but you're supposed to give them at least a year. That's a part of the Kingsbury thing that to me he has to he has to earn that part of your professional character back because I don't want you to get engaged. "But all of a sudden when juju was getting ABC coverage that oftens grinded to a halt. What would happen though, if they lost that game? And the ravens the ravens that didn't play right? If everybody a saying, how could you not play Antonio Brown? How could you possibly put the rest of the organization and the rest of the team at such a disadvantage and not play that guy? But what I'm saying things if they had lost that game and the ravens lost. And the Steelers were out earn. However would have worked out exactly where I if if the Steelers would have if if the Baker pulled off the upset and the Steelers had lost. So they would have been an with a win. And they lose learn Zine to ten because they can't exactly what is the world would be crying about. Why didn't he? Play. How could you let this this minor infraction? Or this misunderstanding push you out of the playoffs. And you these things happen. And these things happen way more than than is brought out publicly and this point they've got a whole off season figure it out before they start the ball players are like kids and kids will push you as far as they feel like they can get away with as far as their parents. Now, Nick, you said that they put Mike Tomlin in a impossible impossible might Tomlin in the way that he has led the team allowed this to happen because he left the facility on Wednesday. After dispute with the star quarterback didn't come on Thursday. Now to me I played sixteen years in the league. And I'm talking about man, I did a lot of stuff, but it was never acceptable for me to miss work or in my teammates to miss work. Now a handful. Times. There were examples I'm talking about a handful, and I play with a bunch of rowdy crazy guys hung out all night. But there was not one day where it was acceptable for all of us not to be there. I was always taught to either come to work in report in and out decide we're going to send you home. So these things that might talent has allowed to do in. The only reason why they have in that press conference 'cause the to pace got out. And we was able to see the injury report was false. And we he knew that ultimately the public was getting ready to know. So he tried to get ahead of this. So Mike Tomlin in the way, he's decided to manage the Pittsburgh Steelers allow something like this to happen because as a coach Dennis Green tippling. Listen, don't embarrass me. Don't put me in the position. Because if you do I will choose what's best for the team. I will not choose you. So Mike Tomlin. He's gotta be. He's gotta be soul. Search. "After a slow start the Celtics on four straight. Kyrie Irving is starting to look like an all star. Again. The CS have the deepest roster in the Eastern Conference. Even though they are six games. Hind first place Toronto. All right, Michael to paraphrase, the great late Dennis Green, other Celtics. Now who we thought they not yet? But they're getting their Franken that's gonna take a little while longer to. I mean part of this. I don't understand it seems that people were like expressing surprise. And it was gonna take Gordon. Hayward Leah half a season. Maybe two thirds of the season to get to the point. We looked like the Gordon Hayward of old. Well, that was crazy. And he's he's getting there gradually incrementally. And I think that's critical. They going to need him to play in full like he used to before the Celtics we expected any also they shocked the ball so poorly in that stretch where I think they were just ten and ten on their record for the season. Those shots is starting to fall. And I think we all do they would. So the Celtics are going to get there are there yet. No could they have another setback of two along the way between now and Christmas. Yes. I don't think this is going to be easy for them. Toronto is a better team. Gordon Hayward last week did have thirty points in Minnesota. So maybe starting to come around you start. You know, here's something that happened to them. Jalen Brown got hurt. Marcus smart goes into the starting lineup and that change things around a little bit. Because Marcus smart, he's a ball mover. He defends so they become a different team. Listen to this my on the season, they averaged two hundred eighty eight passes per game in the last four three hundred twenty three. So the giving them mostly the smart you like his assertion internet. And and here's the thing when he starts coming off the bench. They have Terry Rozier, Gordon Hayward, and Jaylen Brown Namie a team in the NBA that has had hype of quality coming off their bench. I mean, that's look we've always thought that depth not just depth to be shuttling guys in and out for minute. Not just a rotation quality three guys who could be starting for half the team by league if not more. So again, I think even that takes time to sort of figure out and get comfortable with the Celtics are there yet. They're going to be right there with. Ronna with the end of the that now, but Mike here's the thing. US every coach in the NBA when the playoffs start. They want an eight-man maybe nine that's Namie team. That's got an eight-man rotation. Got a better one
