"Coming up. Maui realizes that this great mission of his will take considerably longer than he'd ever imagined now back to the story the Demi God Maui had set out on a quest to try and capture cala the sun after a so called here roic feet of his head. Some unforeseen consequences after getting instructions from his mother. He Not Maui had traveled to his grandmother on the northern side of Mount Haleakala. She Fed Cala Cooked Bananas. Each day before he laid down to rest but when Maui told his grandmother about his epoch plan to catch the sun she began to laugh. Maui did not like being laughed at. And he grew ashamed and then angry. He hit the ground hard but his strength was too great. The mountain that they stood upon seemed to buckle and sway from the force of his hit. Maui and his grandmother grabbed onto the whealy tree as they waited with bated breath for the mountain to topple but after a few heart pounding moments trembling stopped only a few rocks fell down from the peak above crashing into his grandmother's campsite and barely missing her hot. Mao As grandmother looked at him angrily. Can you not control yourself? Mo- Buna you are thick as a coconut meant to do that. You laughed at me. Old Woman. No one laughs at Maui or they feel my wrath Mao as grandmother reached out again to slap him across the face. That is for almost destroying. My heart is all powerful. A massive ball of fire. You expect to control him if you cannot control your own emotions. I intend to catch him to snare him. Somehow using my incredible powers see look. Are you looking grandmother? Maui flexed his muscles at her as evidence. His grandmother's side. She did not know if this eager youth before her had it in him to accomplish such a feat but he was here that already was more than any others could say. You need rope. The strongest there is and even then. I do not know if it can be done rope. Yes what kind of tell me I will find it. Oh this is not nearly lying around waiting for someone to happen. The party it you must. We've it yourself out of an indestructible materials. It must be the strongest rope you have ever made and you must make as many pieces as you can. Sixteen at least two for each leg sounds hard but to not for me never for Maui. Tell me where to find this material. Something tells me you will not like this. Next part there is someone with magical hair the strongest in existence. The hair of your sister UTICA. Maui froze dread filled the pit of his stomach at the mention of his sister's name whenever he encountered enough he could not help but be reminded of his false and he often shrank in her presence as he thought about finding her in the depths of the sea. He thought that maybe this task would be better left to someone else. Yes I knew you would not like this. She has a habit of making. You feel small. Does she not no one makes Maui feel small? No one is a family affair this sneering of the sun and after I make the rope you return here. Hide by the Willy Willy Tree when you see collapse first leg appear above you. That is when you strike. Do you need help finding your sister. No thank you grandmother. I know exactly where she is. Maui left his grandmother's camp and face the ocean. He was just in time to see coladas fiery charge over Mt. Holly Ocala then darkness fell once again. Molly waited there in the darkness for some time working up the courage to face his sister. Perhaps this is what his mother meant. When she said his mind must be strong he side. He would not let his fear of as admonishment be the reason he failed in his journey. He needed to continue forward. He took a few deep breaths stomping his feet and flapping his arms as he did so. His arms miraculously grew feathers soon becoming wings. His face on gated into a beak and his eyes turned small and black moments later. He had completed his transformation. And where the strong Demi God Maui had. Once stood was now an immense seagull. He took off into the sky. Swooping amongst the clouds and down into the waves speckles of surf exploded off the water hitting his face as he dove close to the water's surface. He pumped his wings quickly flying as fast as he could for. He knew that if he did not push himself to get to his sister quickly than current would fail him. As he passed a small island he suddenly dove beneath the waves in one fell swoop. As soon as Maui swept below the surface of the ocean. He was once again in his human form despite this he had no trouble breathing beneath the sea as he swam gingerly downward and downward and downward to the darkest depths until he saw what he was looking for a small shack sat amidst coral cluster surrounded by columns of coral and other sea fauna. A light was on within piercing. The darkness of the water like a knife. Maui SWAM TOWARD IT. Powering through the water until he had reached the front door. He hesitated then slowly. Lifted up a hand to knock brother. The door swung open and Maui found himself face to face with his elder sister. She was a small Pale woman with long magical hair that floated about her with an ethereal strangeness it was Shiny Seaweed Like would also glowed with an obvious power on her face. A gentle smile curved up in a slight smirk. She looked her brother up and down and raised an eyebrow. I would have thought you had grown larger by NOW EKA O. Do not be so formal Greek me properly. Eneko pulled Maui into a hug and ushered him inside her home. The door closed with a thud. Molly entered and looked around out in the world. He was in posing towering but inexplicably here in this small shack. He somehow seemed smaller. Eneko flitted about the room moving over to an easel where she was artfully arranging shells in a pattern. She already seemed bored with Maui as she stifled. Yawn. Maui cleared his throat trying to get her attention back. You waste away down here. What do you do to entertain yourself? I like my quiet just like you like your little tricks. Little TRICKS LITTLE ALRIGHT SYSTEM. What you wish. Mother tells me gotten a fat head up there. That is the seals belly by the sound of it. I have accomplished the greatest defeats you. You have no idea you manage to destroy an entire way of life. That is certainly a great feat. Maui closed his eyes trying not to let his frustration. Boil UP HIS SISTER. Knew she had a way of getting to him and he would not give her that pleasure. I have come to ask something of you. Oh Ask then. I- Maui noticed that he night was not looking at him instead. She had busied herself with arranging her shells admiring her slowly. Emerging piece of art he was trying to save the world above and she could not even give him a moment of her time. His fists clenched tightly. But then all at once the fight went out of him as Maui stared at her back. A feeling welled up inside of him. He was sick of being laughed at sick of being underestimated sick of no one recognizing his greatness when all along he had known how great he was but he realized now that he was not going to get admiration by asking for it and more than that he was not going to change his sister's mind when it was clearly already decided and so for once he would not try the thought of no longer carrying what his sister thought of him instilled him with such relief that he let out a short laugh. He did not need her approval just her hair and so as a NI- ignored her pestering younger brother to work on her esteemed art piece. She did not notice him slowly. Drifting through the water behind her his hand stretched out poised to pluck out a few strands of her magical hair but just as his hand near her head. Eneko whipped around and grabbed. Mauer's wrist with shocking speed. Maui winced as her fingers dug into his flesh and and her eyes flashed with malice disk disk little brother. I did not hear you ask nicely..

Lying in states: fibbing politicians

"But I as twenty nineteen draws to a close. Our top story takes a step step away from the news to examine a trend that's dominated the year. The world is accustomed to hearing the lies of dictators that North Korean leader Kim Jong is a Demi God that America caused Venezuela's economic mess looking much happened on June fourth nineteen eighty-nine Square in democracies to all additions have always massaged the story even mangled the truth say this. I did not have sexual relations with that woman. But there's something different and about the age we live in today. What's different now is that there's more grazing and open and repeated political lying in democracies. Don Parker is economists editor at large. So the best example of this has this little Miss Leader of the Western. Some world is trump himself from. Keep saying that. We're building the wall building a wall on the border of New Mexico and we're building a wall in Colorado. We're building beautiful wall. He keeps saying that the comedy is never been better. Nobody's ever been president. That has the greatest economy in the history of the country. This is the greatest economy and history of our country. These are the greatest unemployment than trump lies so frequently that there are several websites sites devoted to his misleading information and the one kept by the Washington. Post says he's made thirteen thousand five hundred law knives or fossil misleading statements in the course of his presidency. That's running at about twenty a day. That's enormous number. And trump lies is more brazenly than most. But he's certainly not the only one. Boris Johnson British. Prime Minister has a long record of telling lies. He got fired from a newspaper. Job for making up a quote. He misled the Queen. which is a fairly unusual thing to do so there have been a surprising ising number of politicians who haven't just sorta bent the truth the beach they've told flat out walls? And how easy is it for voters. Do you think to detect when politicians are lying. They walkers or the more subtle kind people find it difficult even in the olden recalls of their lives to distinguish wish. When somebody is lying now there have been tests of this and it seems like we are to use the word of the main tester. GEICO Tim Levine. At the University of Alabama. We're hard wired to believe what people tell us simply in order to make communication possible if everybody were having to justify everything they say. From first principles communication would become almost impossible symbol so we default to believing that what we're told is true so that communication can keep going between people and viewed through through that Lens. It might seem that those who would want to tell untruths or essentially sort of exploiting that hardwired nature. I mean having seen that play out. Why don't we disrespect that. In the politicians nations there is a curiosity about trump and Johnson and others which is put bluntly people tend to support politicians even though their lines. Why is that though. Why wouldn't voters be bothered by dishonesty. In what should be example setting leaders one very important consideration here is fat. Political decision-making isn't dominated by rational Ford. And somebody amazingly enough tested at this out by putting people inside an MRI scanner and looking at which bits of their brain lit up when they were told things supported reported what they believe anyway and things which contradicted what they believed anyway. The one of the brain that never lit up was the part most commonly associated with rational rational thought. So political decision making is intuitive. One's not so worried whether something is true or not related eighteen to this every body has what's called confirmation bias the tendency to seek out the kinds of information that confirms what you think anyway. A Nice example of this from America is the tendency of Democrats and Republicans to consume totally different types of us in the Republicans. Watch Fox News. Democrats read The New York Times and in those those two places. They're basically told what they think anyway. In addition to all that very very interesting perception by a guy at Cornell called Thomas Guillevic if your face with something that challenges your point of view your reaction is must. I believe that. And if you're faced swith something which confirms your point of view you say may I believe that not must I believe. Let me give an example on this one. You don't really believe that climate change is real so you ask. May I believe as it were that. Climate change isn't real. All you need is one self-proclaimed climate scientists say no. No you can continue to believe that climate change change is really happening and you will believe that people aren't looking at the balance of judgment and coming to an impartial troll views. Something not like other jury or the judge. They're much more like the prosecutor and so in this case I think identifying lies. That's it's just not important to the way people make political decisions I mean if these are the biases that are evolutionary baked into humans and the the exigencies of political decision making having always been the way they are and this sort of flexibility. With the truth that's required sometimes in such positions. It makes you wonder how. How did the truth ever have a chance yes. I agree with that. People always complained about politicians distorting the truth telling outright lies but it's made possible. Oh by some more recent developments which I think the most important is fake news. There's much much more fake news around and of course fake news is a product of people's willingness to tell lies but it's a cause of it too. There's just so much fake news that it exaggerates the the confirmation bias that exists anyway and there are some tests published in science magazine last year. which showed that actually fake political basical news spread more quickly than any other kinds of fake news so mark Twain and Winston Churchill accredited with the notion? That lies is run two or three times around the world while the truth is still up. It's boots but that turns out to be always literally true. John Thank you very much for that. Very real news discussion. You know why they won't be insane. Everything I just said is supported it by the psychological testing and rigorous fact Chen. Exactly

"I'm greatly invigorated these last few days as a result of the fact that the article about me in the New York Times has invigorated a lot of thought. About myself about President Trump now some of the headlines wrong his radio listeners revere, Trump. He's sure that's not the point of the article at all. Michael Savage conservative radio drawn anger over scepticism of the president anger from who who's angry at me. Joe from Fresno. As I said, in the article, Trump is not a human being too many people. He's them God, which is very dangerous. Obama was Demi God, too many people, which was dangerous. And I said, so at that time, we do not live in a dictatorship, we live in a Republic. We don't worship our presidents whether they be Obama. An democrat Obama or Republican Trump. We don't worship our leaders, you my respect them if you wish, but you don't worship them. That's what makes us nation different than the nations that preceded it. However, I am not playing with fire by criticizing the man once the Winston Churchill time you think I'm gonna get up every morning and do nothing. But say how great is do you think I am the beached whale, I do not have shoe polish on my tongue? I did not get the supply sent by the White House, apparently all went to him and his acolytes now, I am a lightning rod in radio. I always have been and Frank. What can I do about it? What can I do about it? I gotta tell you call it the way way I see it. I call balls I call strikes the best. I'm Piran the talk radio business. I mean, if a batter swings and misses what shall I say, look? Hey, Johnny that was great. Go run around the basis now and take a Homer, take a run, Johnny. I'm not one of those fathers that when the kids swings and misses. I said, good job, Johnny good job, Johnny, Johnny doesn't learn how to hit the ball. "Before the cut-throat world of failed lawyers who got lucky and went into radio and started to debase you every way they could behind the scenes with fake Twitter handles legal maneuvers and that nature allowed. So wouldn't be the same Laussucq tonight. But you know, this is all preordained because I quote, Jeremiah and God since the national day of prayer. I'm going to invite you to listen to some of the things that I wrote and one of the things I did that was very clever was on opposite pages to what I wrote I quoted the Old Testament in order to get you. It was a trick. It was a trick book to make read the Old Testament is what it was I trick you into reading it. And so on one of the pages I quote, Jeremiah. He was a great prophet in his day. He would have been a talk show top of the heap. And he wrote this and the word of the Lord came up to me saying before I formed the in the belly. I knew the end before thou came fourth out of the womb. I sanctified the I've appointed the prophet unto the nations. So what does that actually mean? You could figure out what it means. I'm sure unless you want to hear about bar steel, Russia Mulia Mueller dossier Komi dossier, impeachment dossier, Naylor. Pelosi fake news persecution. We could throw it a little CNN Omar Marxism Muslims climate green deal if you'd like, but those topics have been dropped. And if you noticed that the parents are doing something, very interesting the derivative parents who failed and everything except BS the public the derivative parents have stopped talking about the border. Have you noticed that isn't an interesting how the derivative parrots in talk radio do not mention illegal immigration anymore. Why biggest they were instructed from central casting through the morning Email? Do not mention illegal immigration that mentioned the border. Did not mention anything about the border. Do not mention MS thirteen that topic is over as verboten. You can't talk about it. We highly recommend that you only say bar steel, collusion, which hunt dossier Komi if you wanna really sound, intellectual. I guess you could throw in something more about it like MS, thirteen or. One of the spy agency's Britain to make you really on the end. And you really know, you know, like, I said of knowing what what iron to us in which whole you actually know the depth of the subjects that you know, nothing about. So I will not talk about any of it. The only topic. I will talk about is the one you wanna talk about meaning anything, but anything, but what the derivative parrots are talking about it. I'm on strike because I will not have my brain destroyed by this. I cannot take it anymore. I just won't if you think that my family going back in my ancestry survived millions of years through every possible permutation combination of attack for me to sit here and talk about subjects like this. You crazy. I won't do it. And I actually I can't do it. No Surrey, Bob. But from thence he will seek the Lord I got an shout. Find him if thou search after him with all with all night sell Deuteronomy for twenty nine. What does that mean? That means that you're not Mark Zuckerberg. That means that if you think you are God or Demi God who owns a company like that you've made so much money that you know, that you are God you don't need God. Because you are God that is until something happens in your life. And you say oh my God. Oh my God. And suddenly realize that you billions don't help you suddenly realize that maybe God won't help you because you've abandoned God. And he's not there for you anymore. You left him? He didn't leave you. He's always been there. Right. Train up a child in the way, he should go. And even when he is old he will not depart from it proverbs twenty two six you will not find that on Twitter. You will not find that on Facebook train up a child away should go and even winning old. He will not depart from it. So you look at the children of the Hollywood slime, and you see how horrible most of the children fail. Every one of them almost without exception. Every one of them that has paraded like living doll. By the reformed prostitutes. Usually, unfortunately, does not end up much. Well, let's put it this way. The seltzer bottle doesn't fall far from the truck. Let's leave it at that. You know? So what would you like me to talk about? I could talk about what Trump did today. Trump credits faith in God to help him through which which is good. I don't know why he didn't say reason that would have been he would have been better off. If you call it, the whole title and his speech writer should've ripped off the hotel not just faith in God. Then the headline would have been Trump credits faith, God and reason to help him through which ons, but then it would have been too obvious that a speechwriter took the title hole and at pre digested it. And spit it out in another form. Jeremiah wrote for of old time, I have broken yoke and burst thy bands. And thou I will not transgress upon every high hill and under every leafy true, thou didst recline playing the holiday that San Francisco's hills. See the old guys what was happening up there in the old world too. Same thing is happening now in the new world for of old time, I have broken go and burst thy bands. And thou said, I will not transgress upon every hill on the every leafy tree, you did recline playing the holid- said Jeremie he didn't like that too much. He didn't like the holidays. I'm of ancient Israel, Jeremiah. All he would have been a great talk shows Jeremiah's date his advertising base would have diminished rapidly because he would have been boycotted by the twenty year olds who picked the advertises for the parents because Jeremiah said things such as this there become as well fed horses. Lusty stallions everyone they after his neighbor's wife shall punish for these. Things said the Lord, and shall not my soul be vanished on such a nation as this Jeremiah wrote they are become as well fed horses. Lusty stallions everyone neigheth after his neighbor's wife shall punish for these things. So the Lord, and shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this. I realized this is too preachy for you. I realize it's not parrot like enough. You have not heard the word bar was still Russia Mueller dossier Komi which hunt fake news Pelosi, Omar. Marxism, notice we've dropped as I said all of legal aliens in the border central the Central News Agency of the government sent it out to the parents in the cartel and said do not mention the border illegal aliens anymore because we have we've dropped the subject, in fact, raising more money for them than ever before we need more of them. The Better Business Bureau is now running the government. They won all of the idiots who don't want them here in the country are finished. And that's it. This is how I see the world while while that's going on while that's going on here in San Fran psycho a high school named George Washington high school may arrange them euro, George Washington because it traumatizes students I had read that several times. Let's see a northern California Public school district may remove a mural of George Washington from the halls of George Washington high school due to concerns that it's offensive and demeaning to native Americans and African Americans the controversy comes after working group. Whatever you the working group or panel or study after working with the terminal mural made up of several panels traumatizes students and community members in nineteen thirty six. The paddle was painted by Victor on auto off under a panel called the life of Washington. It was a mural at the San Francisco unified school district campus on a tough was a prominent Russian American painter who created the murals as part of works progress administration project undertaken during the new deal, but a working group of minority racists that men in recent months determined the artwork is highly problematic and should be removed from the walls of the school named George Washington high school because it offends minorities, especially let's see native Americans and African Americans. Now, of course, need I add more to that statement other than we are living in times of insanity. And it's time like these that make you understand that without God. We'd all go crazy, and we'd all wind the Brenta sweet in the Chateau Mont and ordering as many drugs up from the streets of Sunset Boulevard as we could and up like the varmint in Hollywood. And then we'd be in the sewer pipe of Hollywood. Was it not for faith and God, we'd have nothing. Do you understand is nothing left in America? But faith to hold onto. So what is it? You want me to talk about because I can talk about an awful lot of subjects with great knowledge and great experience. Never forget, my background prior to radio on like people who would disc jockeys in high school football games, who got very lucky bamboozling, the Eddie's out there into thinking that they really cared about things people who failed lawyers and used to listen to my show what people used to collect soundbites for my show. And now a big deacons of talk radio when all they ever did was listen to this show. And gather soundbites, so believe me, I have a background prior to this disc jockey as them call talk radio if you'd like to sound off at any of these topics that is what I will do because I will not do the lexicon of paroxysm, I will not talk about bar or the witch hunt was steal or Russia Mueller dossier or call me, I will not mention impeachment or NATO. I will not say fake news Pelosi. None of that is fair game on the Savage Nation..

"What if I if I were New York I'd offer up a even sweeter tax package because that's probably what it's going to take at this point. And then then then you can go ahead and deal with Alexandra Garcia Cortes on your own on that one five fifty three here on NewsRadio seven forty Jerry, Monday morning quarterbacking of last week's north green summit. They did that over the weekend. And they had professor who's an expert in green relations. Sung Yoon Lee to talk about a couple of different aspects of it. First of all, here's what he said in general about the summit the summit was premature. But it was the right thing to do for the president to walk away from it. And I think the North Koreans were taken aback Kim Jong UN probably in his life has never been snapped. Like this is treated as demi-god in his own country. And the North Koreans showed a little bit of panic when they held that late night impromptu press conference, and the foreign minister said that all that they had sought was sanctions relief for the sake of the people of North Korea, which is ironical will just a little. They also talked about auto warmbier that is the university of bridge. Kenya? Students who ended up in a Korean prison and then ended up back in our country in a coma in eventually died. As result of that. Here's what the professor said about Kim, not really claiming they didn't know anything about it. And that would be in early January two thousand sixteen auto is detained on January second just four days later, North Korea conducted the nation's fourth nuclear test to they shy of Kim Jong UN's birthday. And then did another one in September. Having a US hostage would have been very useful to the North Korean state in trying to deter forceful even diplomatic counter offensive from the United States. So the chances are zero. Okay. So he was really giving the motivation behind why he thinks that the North Koreans kept him. Now as to why he ended up in the condition. He dead. We'll never know the true story on that. I remember saying at the time, and you know, it doesn't feel good to say. But I think that auto warmbier himself is at least partially to blame you go into a country like North Korea. And you try to take something out of the country, and you get caught taking it you. Gotta know the results are not going to be good. I don't know why anybody would want to go to North Korea to begin with. But if you go there, you have to feel like you're going into harm's way. And behave accordingly. Five fifty six your NewsRadio seven forty KTAR h. Your dependable and'reliable news feed. This is Houston's morning news. Blue Cross Blue.

"I had my, you know, with my my no, I can you right with the screen off. And so I was I was trying to write down some of the one liners and stuff because there were just so ridiculous. And eventually I had to give up because there were just so many of them, and it reminded me kind of like an old movie like how it's just like all one, right? Yeah. Yeah. So much just log. So what's your next puzzle fees? Well, oh, okay. Yeah. So this was a big one, which is funny Moana. You know, the animated movie Moana. Really if you take a offer man, and you take also the one woman movie that you take them and combine them, you basically get the Moana movie because the Maui which the rock played is kind of like aquaman in a way. He's like this. Demi God that has a Hoke and even the scene in here when he goes to get the, you know, his Trident that so just behind me, a Moana when when Maui goes to get his Hoke, and then the other part when they they jumped in the hole in the desert. There's a scene actually this for I think it's the. When they go to get his hook. They jump into this big hole. That's just like in the in the in the in the ground, and it goes into the water, and like she jumps in furs. And then he he follows 'cause she does. And it's like very very reminiscent of that. Which Moana is great now, great Disney animated movie, I love that movie. So there's just a couple hints of it here. And there though that reminded me of Moana. Sure, you know, that that's definitely I would say again that see that's an animated movie, that's Disney. So for this one to have the not not just some of the same lake type of scenes, but to have the same sort of feeling and vibe of that movie that that's the part this kind of weird. But that said that bans area out there this movie. Nah. Not only it was that. I think of one which you know, as you know, song Nance, not dance. But songs, you know, singing in them and moments where the characters are singing and this also reminded me of of Indian cinema, especially behoove below which I'm a big fan of. And they actually have song dance numbers in those movies. I so casino them do that in this one. They so could just broke off with Offerman singing at any point. And it totally would have worked. Oh, yeah. Absolutely. I could totally see in that big dance number something like that. That would have so pin good with the octopus rhyme along. Oh. Oh, great. That's the thing like, Mike. I mean as soon as this character is introduced to when he's grown, and he's actually aquaman the way he arrives in. He like tosses his hair turns around it's so much like a the way they do in the Bollywood movies like with their big character like the movie Boba, it's so just like in so many ways like that. So to just take it a step further and actually to have. Dancing and then have him singing. I mean, this is like so so close to that. But but that way, I feel there's some Indian influence. I also felt some Asian cinema influences. Well one's of course, use. I mean, again, the raiders lost ark. So there's going to be this connection, but mo- Jin the loss legend, which was the one you saw with me. Leo, God's was another one that I thought of in the mermaid is another one that I thought of and these are all ones that have come out in the past several years two or three years, but those movies are just so over the top and just so silly. And this is so like that with the just the silliness in over the top. And the CPI is does away those movies. That's one of the things that the CGI on. This is. Of, you know, Oscar quality, which is a shame that is not dated for. It's like not even in the running for special effects, which is bullshit. It didn't shortlist Elliott. But this movie is so like bazaar in that way, though that it looked so beautiful. And it's just so insanely over the top though, and somehow does work. Yeah. No -absolutely..

"We need to have a an in with the average consumer or the mass market, or the moms and the pops to have them understand how we want this to go because I think it's still them that can make this movement progress. I, I think it was one of my gripes is that I just mentioned Laura, shin, and Laura is one of the only people in Aaron, Paul and Matthew area, and actually are one of the only people that use our real names in the crypto. He's you have people that are really vocal, great followers great ideas thought leaders, and they go by bit demi-god or crypto frog or bitcoin, Batman, and you're like, yeah, these are representatives to the masses. So when is bitcoin Batman going to start saying, hey, I'm Bruce Wayne. Take off the column, the Cape and start. Talking to the average consumer because, hey, you know what we need your help in is fun as an as entertaining as bitcoin Batman might be. He is not going to be taken serious by the media, the people, the mom and pop investors, or the conservative investor that says, hey, you know what I work hard for my money. I've been doing this for thirty years at my company to set up by to pay off my house to set a little bit of pension my 401K and now I have bitcoin Batman saying that this is the next big thing. Yeah, that's painful. I mean, it was a documentary on CNBC and it was it was like a crypto documentary, and I, I was really excited and then half the the documentary is really good. It's like follows a lot of the players in crypto, but but half the documentary was about some guy named crypto kid, you know, who lives in a tree house and as you know, very eccentric. Like none of that is bringing credibility in. It seems like those are the stories. Is that the media seems to Guam onto in. We're just not going to be able to get real credibility with that, so that's got to be addressed. So with that being said, I feel like we've circled back around to how do we get the average person in to the space is one we talked about, we gotta get them access to it. They have to be able to use it and we have to have professional representatives. Average professional representatives representing them and talking to them in encouraging them and getting them into the space and letting them have a real look and went. We're talking about gripes because seems to be the subject matter. Man, I hate the modern media. I cannot stand the modern media and you had Ray redacted on awesome on crypto, wanna one. Awesome. Because Ray said, look, love the space. I'm paraphrasing love the space, do your own research, but he, I think math. You. He might have been one of the first people I've listened to so many episodes, but one of the first people that I can remember clearly who said, but you really need to look at the other side. You need to read that book by that guy was like, it's never gonna work in come to your own conclusion, but there's so much of the institutional. There's no question that there's manipulation in this market. No question. So if there's no question that there's manipulation in this market, if some people, if there's some subset of people who are so wealthy, who can control that market from Wall Street that Saint money's controlling the media. So if you hate, if you don't want those guys there, why are you listening to the to the buddies their financing? I wanted to stop there. Real quick is an answer that one. Why are we? This is the buddies as finding financing, why we listen to the buddies that are in the media because that is what we just said. A Representative is crippled kid living in a frigging tree house, but you know, it's really hard to get. The average person to not look at, you know, CNN or CNBC or Forbes, or what have you and CNN just the other day, I think it was just yesterday put out a headline that says, guys bitcoin went to half million dollars, then lost it all and you off at all. I saw that it's it's fricking impossible that he lost it all. If he was invested in the bitcoin, if he bought a month before it's all time high, he bought a seven thousand nine hundred..

"Welcome back to the GMC weird news podcast. I know I've seen the to this, so you have excused. Yes. And you can solve two sides or tell the whole thing. See now you make me feel even worse, but remember so our cubed came from when my husband worked Office Depot, so it says office and then once this is smarter and sometimes the red side, the middle cube, the middle square will be totally s. m. and then they are will be upside down and then yeah. And so it works really well since that word is smarter, right in my hobbies like, well, it's not right. And if this were plain rubik's cube, but you would not know that it was okay object you? I still it takes me forever even just to get one side and that's like over several days and getting frustrated impending it down and then picking it up and then going backwards. And I just I have not managed to ever solve saw like two sides, like maybe twice in my whole life after. I've tried to do at least fifty times right? And you don't sell two sides like we, it's a whole value saying, and yeah, but so anyways, I would clearly die. If I try to do what this is, which is a teen has attempted, he may have broken it, but it hasn't been officiated yet break, break the world record of solving rubik's cubes underwater because there is a world record for such things records. Okay. Everything I can ever GE between five and seven minutes on solving a rubik's cube, I would die. I wouldn't. I wouldn't come close to breaking a record because I can't hold by broke for five to seven minutes in the first place. I could have Gilly, we'd and still died. Won a Harry Potter reference for those who aren't keeping up with that stuff. So he did it. He did six weeks cubes underwater in a minute and forty four seconds and one breath. Like I, that's impressive. I know about the kid who can juggle them and solve them at the same time. I also learn that skill Honey. No, where your hand he's doing, I don't know. I think this is one of those things like the may test you for your different skills and spatial awareness. Yeah, I don't have very good spatial awareness. I remember doing my driving test are you know you have to do the two hundred yards or whatever. And I'm like, I only have a sense of how much that is. So I hope I haven't gotten into soon or this my my teacher said, oh, like a quarter links football field. I'm like, really? That's right. Nomi you've known me since I was in kindergarten very small town. Do you really think I'm gonna get that reference? You need a, yeah. You need a non football reference there for the non-football people. That's just not fair. But yes. So this is an apologized because I'm going to also put your this Vacco Marcha Szili Marsha villi of Georgia, the country guess. That's the three state that allows name seems. Yes. So the current record is five rubik's cubes, water. I don't quite remember the time. I'm going to go with co even though you supposed to do things. But Bucko said he trained for several hours each day for about six months in order to be able to do this. I could train for several hours each day for a year. It'd probably be able to solve a rubik's cube, no matter how much time you give make. Oh my gosh. Just what in the one that you like? I feel like part of that trading would have to be just breath holding out even messing with the rubik's cube just to like extend your breath because otherwise you could start panicking and like if it's not going the way you want or if you can't quite remember how to do it when it set up this way, and then you start breathing faster because reading but heart rating faster unless you're a Demi God, son of Poseidon and you can breathe underwater. I mean, you're saying he's one of Poseidon saw Spinks. Maybe he is. He could be Demi God. I don't know. I feel like if you were one of Poseidon. Offsprings and you could do that what you really do it with just six excuse in a minute. Forty four. You know what? I'm just going to do a rubik's cube for every little square on this week. Excu I'm going do execute but big cubes while holding my breath, the might raise some red flags..

"On one hand, I can definitely see the creators tried to resist explaining literally what's happening. There might be that they don't have a literal answer. There is one audio clip that is supposedly of Kubrick, but I think it's unconfirmed whether it's Kubrick or not, but it's been alleged tube recording. Well, it was. I think it was a recording supposedly made by filmmaker who is doing a documentary, interviewed in and claim to have interviewed Kubrick. It was released many years later, but if this clip of Cooper talking is actually genuine, he explains, he says, like, I, I've been resistant to explaining the ending, but if you must know, basically what's happening is that Bowman has been put into a kind of cosmic zoo is place where he can be observed by these creatures from, you know, galactic civilization and zoo is it has this sort of like inaccurate historical furniture. They've tried to create an environment that he would think was pretty. Liane stimulating his natural environment. So they have this like French, you know, furniture and stuff like that. And it's kind of in the same way that like a human zoo might put a tiger in a cage with something kind of roughly approximating its natural environment, but not in a very, not very accurate way. I like I like this explanation. I mean, of course, in evidently reminds me of Billy pilgrim in slaughterhouse five very different type of zoo, very, very different story entirely. But but ultimately the same scenario, let's just put them in here and watch him go. And then of course, the the alleged Kubrick in this recording says that after they're sort of finished with him after after they've finished observing him, they transform him into some kind of God into some kind of superbeing and send him back to earth and that that he, you know, the Kubrick says, this is something that happens in a lot of myths, which is very true. You know, like the a human gets the apotheosis. Kind of narrate him. Human gets transformed into a star heavenly being or God, or Demi God and look at what they can do now. And I know that this idea is more born out in the the literature in Clark's writings. But at the same time, I can't watch the the final portions of the film without thinking of it and contemplating it more as a almost kind of a riddle of the thinks kind of moment like having this encounter with this deadly potentially deadly, early, powerful inhuman force and in doing so, you're contemplating, you're just forced to contemplate the nature of man because there's a sense of it is kind of like the real world thinks you're seeing Bowman progressively age, go through at least the remaining phases of human existence and then and then if you count the baby, kind of come back around to the first model. Well, I like the model of change that. I like in that scene is sort of similar to what we were. Talking about with Ebert center patient what happens with the monolith and the light creatures. So the creatures see the monolith and it's not even necessarily that it does something to their brains physically to change them into smarter organisms or something is just seeing it as just the inspiration. The experience of what that shape is like that inspires them to pick up the bone. I like that interpretation. And so what if at the end it's you know that to the millionth power, it's that David Bowman has seen such things he's been. He's experienced such different reality than he thought was possible in the presence of these aliens with all their technological power that he is innocent, transformed the same way that the creatures are transformed, but just by what they've seen. Yeah. I mean, he probably saw colors don't exist in the real world world for like a thousand years in that segment. Yeah. So, yeah, I like that an interpretation as well, but there is. A sense of transformation. I mean, obviously he does become something else or the thing that was Bowman becomes this new entity innocence when he comes back and looks over the earth. What is that? Is he there and a benevolent way in a malevolent way? What's he gonna do? I think that was kind of a great riddle to to close out the episode on like, what? What is he going to do? What? What is the? What is this next phase in human evolution going to produce?.
