"On my show yesterday we covered a story out of New Jersey, where two female inmates were impregnated by a transgender inmate by the name of Demi minor. After that inmate was moved into the female facility in New Jersey. It was as simple as saying I identify as female and they were transferred over to a female facility where later, two female inmates were impregnated. Can we think about how that can go wrong in more ways than just that? Now not only do you have two pregnant inmates in a New Jersey prison, but you also have two children that are going to be born into the world and under what circumstance. The circumstance of both of their biological parents being incarcerated, I'm sure these kids are going to be thrust straight into the foster system, and we all know what the outcomes look like for those children and how what the odds are for them being abused or even perpetrating abuse for them not graduating high school for them never seeing the inside of a college for them seeing the inside of a jail, developing chronic illnesses, being homeless, the likelihood is far higher when you are born under circumstances like this. "You guys may have heard the news. I'm sure you have that the former president Jimmy Carter is in hospice care. He will no longer go down as the worst president in American history, thanks to Joe Biden. Listen, by all accounts, Demi Carter was a smart guy. He seemed like a very nice guy. Bruce Willis's Cognitive Decline Has Finally Silenced Him
"Well, the bad way to start the weekend is to talk about Bruce Willis's cognitive decline, which is really sad. The actor's family shared the news on Instagram the other day. They wrote alongside a photo of Bruce and they said to Bruce's amazing supporters as a family, we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health, I mean, it just said that they're going to say this. It's it. But I know what they're doing. And this can't be easy for a family to say that, especially since Bruce has been the breadwinner, not only for Demi and her kids, but his younger wife was beautiful and then two kids, it's a sad thing. "Apparently Demi Lovato bought Egyptian artifacts and they turned out to be phony, but if you read the article, it's so confusing. This week, Demi Lovato decided to take to their Instagram stories right away on pistol. Decided to take to their Instagram stories to show off all of the Egyptian artifacts they bought. I automatically think it's harder Friends, her and her family. I know, I'm still not on board. And you know those artifacts are extremely authentic since Demi show off their certificates of authenticity. Only their certificates look like they were made in a kindergarten classroom. They look awful. She bought fake shit. You know, she just bought fake things and she's acting like she has these authentic artifacts. "Demi Lovato continues her insane shitshow. After overdose a few years ago, where she died for a short period of time, nobody wanted to believe me, but I was right. "Demi Lovato, by the way, has gotten so, I'm sorry to say this. I don't have a kind of word, but homely. And just so far, far away from the cute pop star she once was. I don't want to be as 59 year old guy calling a young girl homely, but for fuck sake, she just let herself go like on purpose. MTV celebrating its 40th anniversary. And so we're kind of going back and reliving some of the incredible memories and shows that sort of affected a lot of people growing up in the video generation. And for me, what MTV really was about when I was listening when I was 12 or 13 in the early 90s where the specialty shows where you had this little corner of the world whether it had bangers ball or 120 minutes and yo MTV raps. I'm sort of curious what kind of brought those places, those shows into existence. Well, you and I are both old enough to remember TV guide. Which probably some listeners aren't. TV guide was a weekly publication. I think 85 million American homes subscribe to it because this is how you found out what was on television. And it was the only way really that you that you had to know. The problem for MTV was that the TV guide listing was sort of like a calendar. It was day by day hour by hour. And so on CBS 8 p.m., it would say gun smoke until 9 p.m. and then 9 p.m. okay corral or whatever it was that CBS was programming at the time. When your finger went down the page to MTV, it would say, 8 o'clock, music videos. 9 o'clock. Music videos. Ten o'clock, music video. Continued. Yeah, I mean, I'll stop there because we have a limited amount of time, but you get the idea. Yeah. And that made it hard to sell advertising. Ad buyers don't just want to buy a network. She should come before any of us here in the show and what I started Reading was people disabilities have been kind of pushed down the priority list. And I know that some people listen to our show right now Might have somebody in their family with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and their immuno compromised quite often, putting them at greater risk for complications that they get sick. Down syndrome being something that is You really have to pay attention to with covert 19. And I don't want to get the facts and figures who don't wanna bump somebody out who has been in their family down syndrome about you know that because you know it. You've already done the research yourself. 10 times a greater risk if you get sick and the mortality rates everything else, But I want you to know that people out there like us to do radio shows, see these things. And if we can raise our voice to help other people get in that line, the people who are of age and who need this shot and should get this shot. We'll do it, You know, because a lot of people out there feeling like they might fall by the wayside on and they shouldn't. They should be elevated. I'm gonna wait my turn or whatever that is. I'll wait my turn, You know, and I think the other people need to go in front of us. And I just know there's some parents that they're worried about their kids. Um, this research found a link between Omega three and slower cognitive decline. And the researchers compared brain volumes and people who consume fish with those who didn't and found that Baker broiled fish is associated with larger gray matter volumes. Independent of Omega three levels. The lead researcher. It was an assistant professor of radiology in neurology at Washington University School of Medicine, said our brain volumes change with improved health and disease. The more neuron is you have More brain volume. You have And the researchers compared the fish eating habits and Emory scans of participants who were in their late seventies on average, and they found that compared to people who did not eat any fish. Those who ate fish on a weekly basis had larger brain volumes. In their frontal lobe, which is important for focus. And in their temporal lobes, crucial for memory, learning and cognition. Relationship between fish and brain could be down to fish having an anti inflammatory effect, according to the doctors, because when the brain responds to reduce inflammation, you can affect brain cells. "Syriza's Has been. You know the talk in the gossip for years. But finally, a new Syriza is in early development with HBO. Max. They want to develop something the way Disney is. Been developing their star wars and you know they're successful movie packages so alive Action Harry Potter TV Syriza. They say that it's going to be a prequel, so it would be a pre Hogwarts. Probably pre, you know, Harry and the characters that we know from Harry Potter. It'll be a Whole new cast and how Hogwarts got started. And you know all that, but very early in development, but HBO maxes they want to put it on the air. And what's this story about the TV show? Demi Lovato is getting yes, she's going to be getting it's a comedy. You know, I don't think this is a result of her amazing performance on the inauguration special Last week, she was the one that did the Bill Withers Song a lovely day. Which was great on showed. What a great singer that she has. I think just the timing is coincidental. That they make this announcement less than a week after she did that amazing performance, But she's been signed Tol head up a new comedy that's going to be coming out. It's an odd premise for a sitcom. It's based around a bunch of people who have eating disorders. And so I guess. Guess that's going to be a laugh Riot. And and here you're so interestingly, Demi Lovato did go into a rehab center to with with the eating disorder issues. So this is obviously something near and dear to her. They can find some laughs in it all the better. Another Hollywood pitch meeting. I would have liked to have been a fly on the wall on s. So you say it's a comedy about what? Yeah, these people, they they have an eating disorder and they get very sick. Lot of laugh. Did you ever see the Dom DeLuise movie years ago, though, called Fat so No, I didn't and and Bancroft actually directed it. It was her directorial debut. And it's a story about a guy who is a compulsive eater. You know, living in an Italian home, You know where food is the epicenter of everything so it actually it zig I with the kneading disorder, but it actually wasn't pretty funny Movie. Okay, whatever it takes to make us feel good, I'll tell you some of the American Film Institute. Whatever they do is terrific. And Is. I know there's a story. I saw something online this morning. Is this a list? They came out with again or show what they're going to be listening. They're their best movies of the year soon. But yesterday they released what they considered to be the best television Syriza's on the air and Netflix captured most of the awards. Bridger Tin was on the list as one of the best of the year. The crown. The Queen's gambit and unorthodox Disney Plus was mentioned for their man DeLorean. They also got an award for adapting the musical Hamilton for television. Showtime's The Good Lord Bird who lose Mrs America. Ted Lasso on Apple TV, Plus Better call. Saul was the only cable Syriza's that got mentioned, And this is kind of a sad sign of the times, not a single show on network television over the air broadcast television. Was mentioned on the A violist of the best television shows of the year. Not surprising, and those are all good shows the one I am resisting. Marianne and all their friends are talking it up. But Bridger Town, um I gonna like that town. I think you are going to really Yeah. I think you're gonna like it. I mean, on the surface, It looks like a period piece. And when I first heard about that, I was like, Okay, I'm out. Me too. I'll find some three Stooges reruns to watch that, too. You know, that's more on my intellectual level. But I watched a couple of the Bridger towns and it's very compelling. It's very contemporary. Even though it's a period piece and it's ah, you know, it's a little on the steamy side also, I can see why I watched the whole thing yet, But I can understand why people are absolutely mesmerized by this whole thing I think, and it's giving it a thumbs up step. Watched it and steamy. You're right, Dean. Yeah, I didn't know of esteem. Oh, yeah. Okay, I'll watch it. You know, I never be smooth Larry it trying to feed some Limburger cheese too Curly, if it can meet that intellectual level, But I never get in the game of Thrones because everybody was talking to me about how everybody is naked. And by the time I started watching it, I don't know what season it was Everybody had clothes on. So whatever, anyway, you know what I forgot. Tioga bring up yesterday we were talking about Larry King is Jim Bohannon, who replaced Larry on the radio overnight, is now heard all night on this radio state, and he does a great job too. He's a good guy, You know, I thought of yesterday. Remember Dave Letterman used to call Larry's radio show and disguise his voice. And he'd be like, Yeah, this is Jim from Pasadena. And I don't know if Larry ever figured out that it was Letterman. But he used to do that all the time. And apparently, Albert Brooks used to do it, too. That's hilarious. And that's surprising Conan O'Brien last night. Head Larry on his show on a pretty regular basis, and he you know, did a montage of some of Larry's visits. And you know they were talking about how amazing it was that whatever they asked Larry to do, he would do no matter what crazy thing it was. There was one scene word Conan introduces Larry King. And he's up in the rafters up or the lights are. He's just sitting up there and he's got his little It looks like a little CNN set set up with the table in the background, but it's it's 50 ft. Up in the air and You know, just doing crazy things in bed with Andy Richter and Conan. He just loved being on. He loved being on. He loved me. He loved. I think he loved being you know, funny. And it's very confusing and pile that. Oh, yeah, Three swimming. What an adventure. It was disorienting.
