"Spotify audible and yes apple podcasts. All right so that is the main events arrest of the main car for ballots are neiman gracie as back taking mark lemon jer. That is the co main event alejandro. Lara's back taking on dna bennett. Who missed wade today. saw rogers pounds georgie carquinez. Take on rogers. That's a fun fight. And then the main card open up. With ben paris taking on john jones protege christian edwards who has a lot of potential at five dollars student is an explosive explosive individuals. So a lot of a lot of debut fighters a lot of fighters wanna know owen to the prelims. Some fresh meat so to speak. And then we Experience gets a little bit bitter bigger and bigger and better on the way up the main card so any other bella tour fight standouts you. They just like oh forget the ufc. I'm watching that fight. If i'd go that far we have a gracie popping up we have holland holland gracie will be on the prelims. I think is you his debut. Not miss. I'm pretty sure he's he's not as pro debut abilities beltway. Dsm yeah. He hasn't fought in fourteen years. Yeah well so young. He's only thirty four okay so interesting so apparently tried to have made things sometime ago and guess it didn't work out you can always you can always go home again as it were but yeah i mean. I'm very excited. Of course one hundred and deanna benefits ashamed. That bennett did this weight. And by such a such a pretty wide amount But putting that aside for now really nice competitive fight I think law. I still see lara. Someone who can be like. I know she's had her shot at the flyweight title. She's i think she's still developing. I think this could be a future. Champion is someone who like. She's had her shots. She's been pushed pretty hard by belts. Were already but i think he sticks with it. She has the kind of like skill set and confidential to make it and certainly the charisma that bells who wants a champion someone that they would want to push to the top so Really looking forward to that by indiana. Ben it's always fun to watch so again. It's a shame she missed weight. But that's that's definitely the the other standout fight on the main card sarah. What's what's your eye on spelter card. I mean again i. I actually don't know a lot of these names especially unlike the lower the card. But i really enjoy watching. Lara fight I'm always of course drawn towards watching females fight. I'm invested in it even if it's not my weight class. I thoroughly enjoy laura. I think that she's pretty smooth to watch. You can see that she's improving. She's growing and she's so changing as a fighter bennett while she's fun to watch. I mean she's missed weight quite a few times for different fights and i feel like i'm always know struggling making weight Not really finding class. That seems appropriate for her. She's not that big but now that she can you know she's missing for twenty five. I'm surprised by that so I don't really know what goes on in her campaign behind the scenes But i do think that that this fight potentially could be a tough fight for her casey. You got a wildcard delatour. Fight the canadians Laura lar lar lar. She's a joy to watch and she just has christmas. She's improving She's had some losses but she's she's also very good fighters he doesn't know so i just i kind of i the and i as much as i want to fight. She's had some kind of stinker fights very nice person great personality. But it doesn't really kinda come off intellectual fights so I'm hoping this is going to be an exciting fight The davos these ladies get to show off their whole skill set but i think this is Lars time they really shine and Yeah i like. I like lar. She's She's she's awesome car. Connie and roger should be fun. Rogers one of the more interesting stories and mma after some throw a little spotlight mark. Lemon jer interesting. I forgot about not smoking. Ultra seems to like them new to a new deal. He beat the breaks out of damarcus johnson and his last fight or demarcus jackson But the two prior fights that he had were to champion. Yaroslav amazon and fought julia willis who are two very tough out. it's This stage in their careers especially amazon. Who's not the champion Given them neiman gracie so clearly ballatore wants to do something with him. But it's up to him to to get over that hump and you beat new neiman gracie's got a good chance to do that. One hundred seventy pounds. That should be an interesting fight because lemons very good very good wrestler is good on the ground but neiman gracie. That's his world so can limit your sit. There and use a striking to his advantage can gracie do what he needs to do. That is a that is an interesting fight as well so but to be clear for the return home good main event. It's not the best offering belts are gonna put together here. It just isn't no. This is This this i was kinda surprised. When i found out this in san jose. I i figure if you're going back to san jose is going to be a crowd they're going to. I don't know you but some names on there But it's an it's an okay card. I think top to bottom. You've sees clearly a better card. But this is definitely fights to watch on speller card for sure and i think this bill to a card because like we said there's sort of a lot of less experienced fighters like an old delatour card where like the prelims are very regional. And i think you're gonna it means you're going to see some finishes. I think you'll see a lot of finishes. i know. People sort of equate that with what makes setting card cardis finishes which i don't always agree with but when you have one in one guys facing owen one guys and owen. Oh facing ono. You're usually going to see some sort of wacky nece and that that might be good for the live crowd. The live crowd will certainly be happy. I'm not how how the interest will be from people like tuning in you know online or e live happy. It'd be some you finish than the car v. gitane enough. So i'm looking at this whole thing with rose colored glasses as you should ak rather prince positively after all we do ak you know well you know So again for for those. Who are watching this after the facts. Which all of you now. Who tried to watch us the stream earlier apologies for the technical difficulties casey. The man the myth the legend got it. All put up and taking care of on the podcast number two as well Anything else wanted to discuss casey. You wanna wanna lead us in. Get ready to lead us out of here. Why is that canadian. Not farting in the ultimate fighting championship. She is a premier hundred and thirty five pound fighter. The uc is desperate for one hundred and thirty five pound contenders. She has not bought a manu. This she has not fought arena donna. There's all the names of the top of the list in the in the ufc that she has not fought. They need strong quality opponents. Like sarah i don't get it. Maybe they're scared. they're scared. maybe. Maybe i don't know what's going on. I don't know what's going on. Let's arena donald. She just lost her opponent right. She's gdr gr had pulled up energy and energy injury energy energy injury. Hula serious pull out any energy. And i mean come on when rhonda rousey within the bantamweight division like it was like man. I was all about it as soon as she left as like. Yeah i get. I get him in. The news is on a great role. She's go yada yada yada but the ufc hasn't built up that built up that way class. And you have a woman right here. Who will be rate opponent for any of those women at the top actually has been one of like incest. You all they keep the top names. Keep fighting each other alec okay. What matchup hasn't like number two in the top sides versus bring in those other talents and lose names haven't really changed the fact that mijas back i.

neiman gracie bennett mark lemon georgie carquinez ben paris christian edwards holland holland gracie rogers Lara Laura lar lar lar john jones alejandro damarcus johnson demarcus jackson Yaroslav amazon julia willis ufc wade

"What is this anyhow? This is your talk DeMarcus Jackson fifteen ninety Segio Evanston, Chicago. The question for you. Stephanie hit I'm gonna ask you you. Shirts personal saw with us. Wasn't political rats. Here's my question. My question to you is okay. We've got we've got a couple of three weeks now where the president and the Democrats allegedly are going to try to get this done. Great does the president in your mind? If if he does not get the Democrats to agree to something that he agrees to is his next step and he's got to declare the national declare a national emergency. Well, it depends. I personally, I don't think it's a good idea or a good precedent to go ahead and declare an emergency us military funds for something like this something that at the end of the day. I think we all want this to be agreed upon and done through the legislature. That's the right way to do it. So I don't want him to go to that point. Personally. I don't think a lot of people do. However, he does have a great position right now because he's got three weeks to show who's being reasonable here. And I think he has shown over and over his willingness to negotiate in terms of dollars negotiate in terms of what we're talking about in terms of construction of a virtual wall a physical wall. I also think that he has a great opportunity to bring in other issues involving immigration. He very clearly offered the dreamers act and and make that permanent. He made that very sad. Now. But nobody, but he said last week that amnesty was something that he would consider. Yeah, we're a bigger broader answer to the question. That's where he can start. He's offering a lot of reasonable arts. I think if we're going to see the Nancy Pelosi that we saw the last couple of weeks, and that is where she literally stands up there and says I will not allow him to build a wall. What she is showing is that she's she does not care about what the issue is. She cares only about one thing. And that is not letting him put on his check to do list. Anything to do with increasing building the wall. That's all. She cares about back on the facts. I think you're incorrect. The way the process started was an initial meeting at the White House with Senator Schumer and speaker Pelosi and the president in which the president got frustrated, and it was he who said I'm happy to shut down the government until you do what I wanna do. So that's point one point two is Pelosi said consistently as to Schumer. We will negotiate with you when the government is open that was the consistent refrain for three weeks. Three as we said before they gave policy solutions if and when the government was open, I think the larger picture here to go back to what Bruce said earlier is the American people are scared and on necessarily so because there was no need to shut down the government. If the president were a person of goodwill, he wouldn't have sat down and kept sitting down and of having a temperature. And and saying I'm going to shut it down. And I'm gonna take care of it. Yeah. In the other thing is that Stephanie with respect to you're just wrong. The president has not offered the dreamers permanent status. The president offered the dreamers three years, and that was that was not a reasonable position. And what's interesting about this is that remember Democrats were ready to agree year ago to I think it was twenty five billion dollars a forty billion dollars for the wall in exchange for permanency for the for the dreamers and the president walked away for the same reason he walked away. Why did that? Then why? Then let me ask you this. Dave, then why did not the speaker? And the Democrats say this plan is dead on arrival. We reject it. We will only consider this. Consider it not voted. We will consider this. If the president makes it permanent. We'll because he. In the court of public opinion, in my opinion, that would have given the Democrats at least some cover that they'd like portions of this. And they do like portions of this some of this would probably passed without any without opposition. But the point is it's different is it permanent. Or is it is it temporary three years again. I would argue I would argue if the wall is permanent the DACA decision essential problem. And I think this is right. Is that had they negotiated over the dreamers or anything else while the government was closed. There was nothing that would preclude the president doing over and over again what he did in December. Which is to say, I didn't get what I want. I'm shutting the government. That's no way to run a country. That's supposed to be a great country. That's exactly why. That's exactly what Pelosi has just done. Look this situation. Here is inverted in my opinion. Because Democrats don't want to have a resolution to the immigration issue. Would we saw that when they controlled all three grant or the legislature and the White House under Obama for two years and number two when they rejected. Trump increasing the number of people who would have been given status, you know, eighteen months ago, or whatever it was number three. We know the real thing on the democratic side is not a question about immigration, or is it about border security or national security or high tech fences or walls or anything else. It's only about having an open border and increasing the number of illegal aliens in the United States can be given who can be given voting status. And that's what the more people are digging into we find that hundred thousand non-citizens voted in Pennsylvania, fifty five thousand non-citizens voted in Arizona, quite prosecutor is alleged active. I'm sorry. All the. These are not how these things Chris does not make them. So I'm not hold on. Excuse me. Excuse me this excuse me. Taking this argument nonsense. That's want open borders. So that we can put illegal aliens on the voting rolls. Well. See if. Let's have a solution. You've turned down every opportunity Halbe solution. Yes, it is. Let's have a reasonable solution. Here is what is your proposal? You're listening to the show told you on our proposal. A reasonable solution and a reasonable and a reasonable action. Okay. Barack Obama, and I I don't want to go into the rear view mirror too much because I don't like to do it. But again, I think we have to put it in context. Our worst Iraq Obama. I'm not gonna knowledge that when Barack Obama was president of the United States. He was frustrated with congress. He was getting he was getting a beaten up by the Latino caucus that he had not done enough to help the issue of the dreamers. And so he decides after saying for almost a couple of years that I really can't do anything about it. He comes out with an executive order. Okay. Everybody gets excited the Hispanics get excited the Democrats get excited. Okay. Because again, at least one four of their of their constituency is basically, but they've shut them up for a while. Then what happens it gets to court and the court says, you know, Mr President, you can't do that wait a minute. Wait a minute. The pro the court said, Mr President your legal analysis when you said to the nation seventeen times that you could not do. This was accurate. You cannot do this. This is exactly the same. Barack Obama who in the nineteen Ninety-one reapportionment case in the city of Chicago cut, the number of Hispanic wards to take care of his backers at project food. There was never any intention on Obama's party to solve the immigration is looking in the rear view mirror. I twenty seven years ago. I think what we're talking about. Today is I read in this morning's paper, and I really plead with us to focus on what's happening. Looking forward. I read about the difficulties these hundreds of thousands of federal employees and all of the stories that didn't have any business and the childcare providers whose whose kids income because their parents weren't working. All of these people who are in a financial crisis today because the president decided that he wanted to shut the government down. And I think the going forward issue is how do we properly reconstitute ourselves and have a rational discussion on immigration policy on whatever. The other policies are without having the periodic threats to shut the government and throwing people into k I will personally accept responsibility for the Republicans failing to do it in the two years. They had control, and I have said this on this program. And I roll repeat it Paul sale on Amazon, you cannot get. Paul Ryan voodoo doll. Why they're sold out every conservative in America has bought three or four for himself and to give to their friends and conservatives all over America are stabbing the Paul Ryan voodoo dolls because we are only going through this right now because Trump and Ryan could not solve their issues, and we couldn't get to a resolution both on immigration and on the border under the Republican what I want what I want it just as just as you have gone after one of yours. I would like to see both parties at all times to acknowledge if the issue forget what let's say it is the dreamers. But it could be any issue if you didn't solve it when you had the White House and both houses of congress, then you know, what if you didn't solve it must not be that important dreamers dreamers were not that important. According to Rahm Emanuel who is the chief of staff of the White House of the time. He said, let's focus on healthcare. He said the hell with the dreamers. Slow slow say, I'm sorry. It's really back. No, no, no, no, hang on. The argument that providing health care for more than ten million Americans is more important than the dreamers. I'm sorry. But yes, it is. It was more urgent it needed to be done when they had both houses of congress. Should he have only do one thing along? Once you can't you could they not do two things at once. Well, apparently the situation now where we were where I woke knowledge what what what what Chris Chris, Chris I've been here for thirty years. What just said is that they're there? The Republicans screwed up. They screwed up big time. Day is done when they said they were going to get them done. And we're seeing right now is the Donald Trump at least in the last six months Republicans and Democrats joined together, I'm the criminal Justice reform. So they can do it..
