"That don't know nema has a is a very all we need is the challenge. Then you'll accept it. I know that. Because whether it's damian lillard shot over the rockets twenty fourteen or the iranian national team using continuous. Say nema has had all can still make team exactly. Especially if i know i get making. But if for some reason like they're like man this kick. It hit threes if i'm on the g. league team is over. It's over comedy ronnie and started. I'm the starting point guard Jack charlie shooting guard where we're killing. We're killing asia love to. I can't wait to daddy still there long as the big men still can look. If you're working with aaron with aaron you'll you'll be you'll be set. I have no doubt about any training. As i'm getting stood out here in the mornings. I parks the handles. The handles aren't working. But if you need me to shoot thirty five at this point that's all it's it's the the only prerequisite that you need so we'll see but obviously so many stuff going on there. What else can we talk about it so much that we're about doing i'm trying to thank you. You're you're talking about call me a little bit. Like what do you mean. You're doing some cool stuff. There what's happening Yeah i mean. Classes started last week. The masters in sport management taking some classes. They're cool a win. A lot about the industry and some of the legality stuff which i feel like i need to learn at some point and then also some refreshments on sport analytics. Which you know. Learning a lot about that type of stuff. So you really excited about kind of the next year or so. You're a columbia. Then we'll see what happens after that but it's going good. Wise even close allies honestly The next class all i guess. Hey look let me check your socks and wear. I wear that class. Maybe like are we matching or imagining. Wouldn't made hopefully if that be a epic moment if you were to pull it up and he had this is it is island. Love your class..
Cowboys Defensive End DeMarcus Lawrence Will Miss 6-8 Weeks With Broken Foot
"Going on with the cowboys. Upfront what can you tell me about. Tank lawrence randy gregory. Big game for the cowboys here in los angeles against the chargers. What do you know about that. Yeah so i. I think like the you know demarcus lawrence obviously. That's a really unfortunate break for them. And he's had injuries in the past. And i i don't know if i'd relates that because there's a foot thing and it's sort of a free thing but he's going to be gone for two months and that like to me. I just sort of looking at how patchwork they've been and they'll get gregory back but like like you know with randy gregory and then over the years taking swings on different guys like alden smith and and and and You know and and if you want to go further back hardy And how they've just sort of continuous roll the dice try and get those positions right And lawrence was the one that they really hit on and now he's out for two months and you know. I think the cowboys defensively did a lot of things well in the opener but the fact is such a big part of the way that defense worked and i worked and i think dan coins a fantastic defensive coordinator but a big part of how the defense works seattle type of defense works is. Can you get heat on the pass or can you come from multiple angles quarterback and lawrence is one of those guys when he's at his best. He changes the math for everybody else. He's gonna change the matchups. He's going to get more guys singled up or guys are going to be favourable spa favorable spot because of him. So now you take them out of the equation and i think it's a big big loss for the cowboys.

"You don't want it to be that one at the very least but tony what is thought. Or what is your thought on. Demarcus lawrence bobby has to step away from the stream. By the way he's he's gonna use all the money that alex has been thrown at best on the chats. But tony what is your thought on the culture in what it will be like without demarcus lawrence because so many people have talked about like. Oh this team doesn't have a leader on defense. People refuse to give democracies that crown. I think it's worth mentioning and everyone the stream. I know you're gonna freak out about this. But they lost tyrone crawford over the offseason. Who retired something. Mike mccarthy actually blundered to be fair when he accidentally told everybody but So they are down and not that he was a great player but he was unquestionably their leader. Sean lee retired in the offseason. Now demarcus lawrence has gone lose. the most. Who's the randy. Gregory gregory is on the leadership council. That was a big story. Throughout training camp the naval gallimore one of the most talented players on that defense is out. I mean is it a stretch to say that the guy is mike parsons in his second. Nfl game like who who. Who does that defense too. Because jalen smith wants it to be him but who do. They actually turned out. I mean you stole my thunder with that because that was kind of where i was going with it. Mike parsons right. They already give him the green dot calling plays on the defensive huddle the you know as you look at it. Demarcus lawrence is the best player on the defense whether he gets the credit. Whether it's the disrespect is there or not. The facts remain the same. The team is different. The defense runs differently when he's not out there and he's that type of person that you know. I think that the locker room respects him immensely right so when he says something you listen you can. And that's what i kinda loved about the hard knocks. There wasn't many big storylines or anything like that. But you've got to see our democracy to his teammates and you got to see how he interacted with the younger guys were fighting for position For for fighting for a job To answer your question mike parsons. It seems that he's got the attitude he's got the moxie he doesn't have an issue with You know mingling with these guys and you know. He's got enough confidence in his play. I could see him getting his. And i i mean i don't know if he's era kinda guy but we're i mean we're gonna find out in this week two game exactly who they're gonna lean on because that guy is no longer going to be on the field that's a great point That kind of made you made as well Your back just in time for alex's latest super chats says mike mccarthy drafted cd mica jason graft after talk interest and we don't have to relitigate the drafting of those. I know that upsets. Bobby no no no no. I'm just saying. I'm just saying like i think no i'm not gonna go get saying. I don't think it's fair to say jason drafted those guys meinhard. Does in fact. Mike mccarthy had very little to do with the twenty twenty class because he had just come into the job three months earlier. Scouts had been working on that board for an entire year. That i just wanna clear that. That's very much a different issue. I don't think you can give the head coach any credit mud much credit for who gets picked. A different office said that he hadn't met He didn't meet my. Mike parsons before they drafted him so he's not as involved as will mcclay or any of the scouts. All the great points i mean. Everybody wants to disparage mike. Mccarthy you guys just mean. That's what it is i'll just mean negative is can i ask you something are jay and tony and david i am. I was looking at us. We're talking about how like raji reference that this game against the chargers. It's one of the you know less meaningful games on the schedule ultimately but given that washington did lose to them last week and that is one of the top tiebreakers. If you're tied head to head you're tied the division. The next thing is common opponent. so is this game. More sneakily important to potential tiebreakers down the road now that washington's loss. Who do you want to answer it. I delegate has just around here okay. i'm glad you brought that up because When i looked at the schedule until tallahassee. I i figured the cowboys in the first two games had to come out of their one in one right. I figured out the right out the gate. I figured if they're not going to lose the if they're gonna lose the tampa bay. The half found a way to win the los angeles game because there are some the are some winnable games coming up after that so you hit the nail on the head with right. Washington loses his game. You kind of gain ground on them. They got to see a qb situation that you know is less than ideal and yeah i mean one hundred percent. You want to win the football game so i do personally think this game is going to be a little more important than what kind of giving a credit for bobby. They're gonna shut up. You I think i think it's a good point to bring up. I think it's it obviously makes the game important but at the end of the day i mean. The of the playoffs is very simple. You win you win your division you get in and they're playing in a fairly weak division At least last year was weakened looks to be similarly week this year and you know take care division games and that's gonna be what gets you there. Rj you may speak now So i'm gonna go direction that i didn't anticipate going on but i've been partly swayed by each of you so great job to all of you. I think this is important. And i hate to make this about like narrative. This is important because like what we've talked about like the culture. The who you are know what i mean like if you go out and and some of you mentioned earlier bobby depends on like how you win. Lose like if they lose. Just what if justin herbert like throws for five hundred dollars. So you'd have like maybe just ran into like an elite performance but if they go and they win such a powerful thing especially to your point the week after they'd be washington not only pan or beat them but their offensive line. Handled the pass rush. Maybe maybe they get you know they had. The washington had the lowest pass rush rate against the chargers than anybody else. That across the entire. Nfl in week one. So what if the cowboys show up entail basham endurance armstrong show up in like kick their ass. I mean that's a huge boost of momentum for a stretcher games is not. it's not necessarily going to be difficult but it does kind of announce yourselves not anyone but even to yourself. You walk a little taller. You feel a little bit bolder. And i don't want to say this team hasn't had that win. The mike mccarthy era because there is so small and short but the kind of haven't had that win i mean i don't count any of the i think the win in minnesota last year was really powerful because they came off the by the watermelon smashing. You hated that. Bobby trapped loved it so i think that was really really powerful but you know all of the momentum that tragically got taken away from them and things came about rightly so more about football or more about life than about football again rightly so so if you look at their they have one win with mike mccarthy and dak prescott that he played the entire game and and it was the watermelon kick game right and that was fun and exhilarating in dramatic and cool but it wasn't like a high quality win..
Cowboys Kicker Misses Two Field Goals in Dramatic Loss to Buccaneers
"I i don't think there's any way of getting around at the tonight. A loser for the dallas cowboys. Is greg zero line. Let's let's your thoughts your thoughts on greg's Let's see here one second. This is a hectic night. Obviously greg line just amber says. I'm so mad right now on facebook. i'm with you. I get this. You know an anthony says not the same defense Tony says push off definitely a push off there at the end cowboys losing. Because the buccaneers drive. If somehow missed the game drive at the very kick a game winning field goal which just about no time remaining cowboys. defense can't stop them in the cowboys. Defense i will say kind of was a little bit of the same old defense. We didn't get you know a defense that was just allowing the bucks going on and on and on and on but this defense did get four turnovers tonight. But if we examine those turnovers. I think the only real authentic one was the demarcus lawrence forced fumble demarcus. Lawrence is definitely a winner tonight. I think demarcus lawrence was awesome. But the first interception the cowboys had the trayvon digs on was a tipped ball. Off of leonard fournette. Yes that counts. Yes that's true. Yes that count statistically but you know that's not necessarily your defense making a play on the ball cowboys also got an interception on. Tom brady at the end of the first half throwing a hail. Mary trying something before the half. That isn't really count. Although jordan lewis certainly had valiant effort trying to run that back and get some points You know the last turnover. The one that kind of turned the game around a little bit. That gave the cowboys. an opportunity. There at the very end Was just kinda. Chris godwin you know running into devante. Casey's helmet those things aren't necessarily You know something. You can replicate on a week by week basis and so for that reason. It's hard to give the cowboys credit. For all of those turnovers it was a different type of performance at the exact same defense we. I think we definitely saw some improvements. I think that mike parsons played moderately. Well i think that demarcus lawrence has mentioned played while randy gregory was on things But this was. I mean man. What a rough game for anthony

"Tend to end their careers. this way. We you mentioned brady and the cowboys opening up against the bucks. You play with peyton. Philip rivers finished up with india. And this is joe. Montana was a kansas city chief. Normally this out goes. I think might be perfect spot for a good all day. I i you know what would it be. Cool if let's say let's say if they did get air rogers but right now and you can't think about that. He's in green. Bay is i'm over. Who's going to be the quarterback right now between lock bridgewater right. I mean you you gotta go with the quarterback. I mean the both of great gunslingers but who can maintain that you know once you get that pressure string knows plays out like a aaron rodgers played against teddy bridgewater. And he's when he's happy he's a beast not going to get back there and to sack them. So i don't know him oprah grabbed now hadn't watched too much of them so give me a couple of games in holler at me. I'll i'll let you know let. Let's wrap up. Here are the cowboys in the playoff this year. What do you think they feed zeke in. They run the football like they should take the pressure. Off of dag Yes i feel. They can make the playoffs. They can go deep into the playoffs and the nfc's so you got within the division. That's what i just heard. Yeah i got. I got him wooden individually. They can do. It is but it's gonna come down to the end that division at the end. You're you're not overly confident demarcus which is fair right. Now we're in the precinct. Okay i wanna give out the preseason. This with any team would denver any of those teams. They this preseason. I wanna see some guys running around. Where Will DeMarcus Cousins End Up?
"Brings me to the demarcus cousins story. Out of houston. It's a strange story cousins having a solid year on a non-guaranteed deal february. Twenty seventh is when non-guaranteed deals either have to be guaranteed for the rest of the season or the player has to be released on friday. It was guaranteed early by the houston rockets. Then on saturday the reports that houston was gonna release him. Okay everyone said you know what they're doing. Demarcus cousins right teams agents around the league see moves like that where you pay a player for his time and people respect it so i start reading stories about demarcus cousins and why he struggled a little bit in houston defensively. How he's not part of the future on the athletic that totally mates sense. But that on sunday. When everybody's thinking is he gonna. The link is going to the nets. Well rockets coach. Stephen silas was asked. Is marcus cousins with the team. Is he leaving the team. Note here and he's going to be here for the foreseeable future so it sure looks like the rockets will release him at some point if they can't get an asset back in trade that can't get a second round pick back for demarcus cousins from whether it's the nets or the lakers but i think he will be joining another team and i for one think it should be the lakers. I think he'll get exposed on the nets because they're not a great defensive team and they will want him to be something really good defensively something which he isn't at this point he'll get exposed like to switch a lot. He'll just be out on an island way too much while with the lakers. They're already a good defensive team. They won't ask him to do too much and he was there last year so i think he can take a bit of a lesser role and be okay with that and they can get him the ring that he should have got before they released him last season l. A.'s the better option for me.

"I'm like, you know, I need to Master Lock here fair enough fair enough. The chat is affecting us that he he dislocated Kevin Love's shoulder. That was the that was the play you were thinking was You like? Yeah, I don't know why it's Dwayne. Wait, but it was yeah, it was Kevin Love and it was it was awful as one of the worst Thirty plays I've seen in basketball and I know there's been a lot but that one just stood out to me and I've never bought a white some sense that you know, cuz kettle of seems like a pretty good dude, and I don't know it just it really irked me understandable understandable. I get it and people are saying that they need to get a chance to square off with alenick in the squared Circle. Oh you go. All right. So let's let's talk. We need to talk about it the PJ Tucker rumors the rumored that the Lakers are are poking around looking for shooters. That was from Asian wage house key before the game. First of all, Gary Sheffield Junior. I mean this this is his like favorite. This is his dream. The Lakers are interested in trading for PJ Tucker now, they are not the only team I think that there is a very very good chance PJ Tucker is traded before the trade deadline. Why because he makes no sense on this team, right if they're getting rid of DeMarcus Cousins and not saying we're going to go young. We're going to go with the quicker players and all of that PJ Tucker makes no sense. They're John Wall kind of makes no sense either but his contract is so big. You can't really move him or do anything with him. Their cleavage need the Rockets are going to rebuild and PJ Tucker is a guy who can help a lot of teams a guy who can shoot threes and defend three-and-d Wing player Chris. What do you think about that Target? Is that somebody that you you're happy to hear the Lakers connected to? Definitely not upset about it. I'm very happy for getting like this favorite player. You know, PJ Tucker has one of the greatest shoe collection, but that decide that that is true all the kicks. Yes. But yeah, I mean, that's a great addition. I think that's kind of an upgrade to what you consider that maybe an upgrade for a martini. Absolutely. Yes, 100% hundred percent upgrade. I think he's got a lot more versatility as a wing defender in terms of he can do a better job on a Kawai or a Paul George not that he's going to stop them but he's slightly more quick footed than Markieff is Mark has bigger taller but but PJ Tucker, I think is that better three indy-style wing player and off. So, yeah, I think you'd be an upgrade over Marquis. Yeah, I think it's all what you said the versatility and PJ compared to Marty and just yeah, I think that would be a good addition. I definitely wouldn't be mad at that. Let's put it that way and then that gives somebody, you know, cuz we always look at that or at least we did look at that Clippers matchup. I mean, I think we're still looking at it, but we're obviously looking at a potential let's match up as well. But yeah, I like the idea of PJ Tucker now, here's the challenge Chris making a trade work. The Lakers are less than a million dollars away from the hard cap. So let's say this is your let's say that the Houston Rockets and they're going to get plenty of offers for PJ Tucker. There's three in D Wing Defenders are always in demand and so they're getting a plenty of offers but let's say the Rockets really want to do a deal with the linkage whatever reason And PJ Tucker's making just under eight million dollars..

"A bit of an overlap. It's kind of like like Boogie cousins and Marcus all are like West Matthews and kcp. It's not the exact same player. There's differences. There's no question. There's differences but their skill-set is more similar than it is different at this point like the difference between Boogie and say a general is Noelle or JaVale or Dwayne or Dwight Howard. One of those guys that the true like Rim protecting centers that that are kind of the lower-tier rim protectors Boogie to those guys is I mean, it's a completely different skill-set completely different style of player. Boogie is a lot closer to a Mark assault-style Player. That's that's what he is right now. But on the Sea Shack DeMarcus Cousins are shooting 38% and that's with me rounding up from the field not from 3 from the field 38% for a center. That's bad. That's bad bad bad 34% from 3, and I will say that about half of his shots right now our threes. So that's probably what's pulling his field goal percentage down, but he is also getting seven points. Yep. Rebounds in just 20 minutes of play. So that is very solid nine point six points defensively the Houston Rockets right now are slightly better with Boogie on the cord actually than off its close. I don't know see. I think the ceiling is high on DeMarcus Cousins, like I look at the skillset. It's not a perfect fit, but is there going to be anybody out there that's better on the market if Andre Drummond gets out there sure you would absolutely take Andre Drummond over DeMarcus Cousins, but we don't know he might just get traded. We don't know if he's going to be on the market. Do you take Blake Griffin over to Marcus cousins? I don't know if I do that and bugging, you know, the you know that he does have the chemistry with the team. I know he got into it a little bit with Markieff Morris from the Lakers played the Rockets earlier this season, but from everything we've heard that was just kind of a game thing and they were cool after the game. Everything was fine. So.
Los Angeles Lakers Scorched By Miami Heat
"Lakers do lose to the Miami Heat. Oh Alex Caruso had a chance to tie it up at the buzzer, but misses the shot was not an easy shot by came up just short gruesome misses and the Lakers do fall to the Miami Heat LeBron. James had a bit off of an off night and we have to remember of course Dennis Shooters still out and not going to miss two more games. They are really struggling to get offense going without him. And of course Anthony Davis out as well and he'll be out for at least the next four weeks or so, which will take him out all the way through a little bit past the old star breaks up the Lakers clearly struggling clearly undermanned and we got a lot to talk about because there's some rumors popping up about what the Lakers might do about it and some people that they dead Try to bring in so a lot to break down joining me tonight. We've got Chris the Masterpiece Masters Chris. How you doing, man? I'm okay disappointing disappointing loss. It was it was a weird game. I know we're going to get into all of it. But you know, there's the world we live in when you don't have off Anthony Davis and then to a compound things you don't have demonstrated or who plays a big role for our team. So 12 plus tonight. Yeah, let's get on here. I think that the schruder think really is it's a big deal. It really is. It's a big deal to not have him out there because of what he brings in terms of the skill set his ability to get into the paint his ability to run the offense. You can just see it when LeBron is not on the floor. I mean, you're you're you're hanging on the edge of the cliff and you're just praying that your drink it doesn't give out and you just tumble over the edge. That's what they're doing right now when LeBron's not on the floor, it's like it's like Frank Vogel is just constantly watching the clock one. Can I put it back in yet? Can I put them back in yet? Because any minute that LeBron is not on the floor the Lakers offense looks dead. Lately lost because they don't have anybody that can really be a threat off the dribble. They can get into the paint and do anything from there. And and so it's a bit of a mess. They're just trying to hold on for dear life reminds me a little of the Lakers bench Squad last year except right now. You don't have Anthony Davis to help claw you back into games either. So it's that's certainly a challenge and Dennis Schroder is going to miss two thousand more games. No, he did test negative for covid-19 will do to contact tracing he is out for two more games. So this is going to be a couple more games where the Lakers have to grind it out without some really key pieces here.
Chiefs place Robinson, Kilgore on COVID-19 list
"This coming down. Just moments ago. Adam schefter saying the chiefs placing center daniel kilgore and wide receiver demarcus robinson on the reserve covid nineteen list due to close contact. You see diana receive their. She's been covering the chiefs all week long diana. They didn't address this. Kobe news because it came up right at the end of media day. But you were talking to all of them throughout so tell us what you learned. Yeah well. I gotta give a lot of credit to this. Kansas city chiefs team who are in kansas city missouri. Twelve hundred miles away from where the super bowl action is all going down starting today and these guys were having a lot of fun they were bringing the energy this virtual so it's very hard to have a lot of energy and to have fun but they did a really good job laura. Let's start with the most important thing i learned. And that's andy. Reid is going to have a double cheeseburger waiting for him at the end of the game. If they win if you remember he had one last year. That was the meal he ate after. They want kidding. That's not the most important thing but something that did stand out with. Patrick mahomes was talking about. When tom brady met up with him after the afc championship game. Two years ago remember the chiefs lost at arrowhead and our jeff jolly was actually down on the ground and he was the one who spotted this. He saw tom. Brady walk over to a security guard and asked to talk to. Patrick mahomes the security guard. A little surprise like okay. I'll figure it out for you. Well he was able to find him a little room in the equipment room. And that's when they brought patrick in radiant ham had a conversation. Take a listen to what patrick learned about it for me. I think it was important because it showed that. I was doing things the right way as a young quarterback in this leading You you gotta go in he or early trying to put it in the time and the work But you don't really know until you get to that that that spot of where you wanna be at Losing an afc championship game. Obviously i didn't get to the super bowl. But then him tell me anything kind of just just saying that he respected what i was doing and how i was planning filming the type of person that i was A kind of best on me to go any new better In order to get the super bowl which we did last year. And i'll just trying to keep improving and keep getting better every single day. We asked andy read about it. He said he didn't enter. Didn't see the conversation. But he said he heard about and he was obviously very grateful. That brady took that time to talk to his young quarterback but re did make a point With the reporters today to say that they are so happy. There in missouri no distractions very few media obligations. It's all football. Football football are
Portland Trail Blazers lose another starter, can’t sustain hot first quarter, fall 104-101 at Houston Rockets
"Start with the blazers any rockets. The first game of the tnt double header on thursday houston is a team. I find it hard not to cheer for. I'm in the corner of john. Wall demarcus cousins and victor oladipo may because they suffered huge injuries in the past major surgeries. And i'm an empathy guy. I wanna see them recover. I wanna see them fight battle. Get back to their old sells like john wall said after the game everybody on this roster has something to prove. Those three guys have been cast off by the role teams. It's a good story but at the same time they have suffered major injuries. They've got a guy on their roster. Who's young spry and should be dominating. The league at the center spot christian would is playing well this year but i think he should be featured a little bit more. He only had twelve shots against the portland. Trailblazers that usage rate should be. Hi you're he. Is that good now. The rockets won this game. They're down twenty early to the blazers. They came back the blazers shooting because they love to shoot their last in the league in points in the paint. The shooting almost overcame their defensive. Problems they just allow too many buckets. The rockets have full strength though. Should have beat this blazers team up bad c. J. mecom still out. He's out for at least a couple more weeks. Yousef nurkic also out for the blazers. I in this game shouldn't have gone down to the wire i'm sure. Tnt would beg to differ with that. They had a game. Go down to the wire. It was exciting but this rockets team needs to find the right hierarchy It's it's an interesting balance. Victor oladipo going into a contract year. I think should be operating a little bit. More within the system and christian would should be the guy scoring ton the blazers continue to fire away from deep like they always do and they got some performances dame lillard of course. She had five threes thirty points. Overall gary. junior was the surprise seven. Three's twenty three points. Overall and three of those threes were consecutive in the fourth quarter. That was a blast to watch an anfernee. Simmons had four threes off the
Changes may be coming to Dallas Cowboys
"This is my last question for you. You got jerry jones right. You have a great relationship with jerry jones all time great. All time dallas cowboy Where does jerry jones take this team from here. You have dak prescott do do they extend him. Do they not extend him. Where's that leader. Is he going to go. Get a leader. I want you to just take us in the thought process pro process of jerry jones and how he moves forward okay poodle as we were six and four during the season and we had a meeting with jerry jones came in and he said i want you guys to empty the bucket. Quarter dallas cowboys. And if you don't do that there's going to be a lot of changes that are going to happen this season he. I'm not talking about the off-season talking about during the season. Cutting guys bringing guys in. And i know that is going to be swiped out across the board at the end of the season with jerry jones is gonna be a lot of changes on defense is going to be a lot of changes on offense because he wants to win. He's a businessman. that's how he's always been in day. I don't know what decision they are gonna make with that. But they're going to have to have that leader at the quarterback position that comes in and takes over the team
Fangio's patience with Lock pays off in big win for Broncos
"Heavy victory monday broncos country. It's always happy when it's victory monday. The broncos taking care of business against the miami dolphins yesterday was just what the doctor ordered. Twenty two thirteen was called a complete team win by so many people starting with vic fangio and then working through the organization all of the players calling a team win. We'll hear from vic fangio here coming up whilst from a happy and relieved drew lock but the broncos dominate on defense six sacks the interception for justin simmons late in the game to seal the win ryan fitzpatrick in and relief at two of who had been knocked out and it was a bunch of people getting in on the act in terms of taxes. John williams with me read. It was bradley job. It was draymond jones. It was demarcus walker. They were all they were all in the mix so it was good to see a complete team effort yesterday. Special teams really. Good they neutralized yukimi grant the stud returner for miami and it kind of relations. You what you thought this team could be. I guess maybe reminds. Isn't the right word but indicate shows you what this team can be when everything comes together. I know that can be a big. If but coming off the effort against the raiders to come back home a team that six and three that had won five in a row to buy low playing great as a rookie and to completely baffle him. Stifle their offense. Just thirteen points are lone touchdown coming early on a really nice catch by devante parker but just a great great effort. And you're on the ground for one hundred eighty nine yards you. Get eighty four for melvin gordon. Plus two scores. Yes the fumbles. Concerning phillip lindsay make plays eighty two yards on sixteen carries. Actually were tied both at fifteen carries for eighty four yards until lindsey was dropped for a two yard loss late in the game and and that ended up being the the difference after the interception
Dallas Cowboys can’t find trade partner, release Poe, Worley
"And on Wednesday morning it was first reported by NFL network that the cowboys were going to cut AKA release d'oro early Dante Poe if they did not find trade suitors before the day was over well guess what there were. No sooners no. Trade. Was To be had the Dallas cowboys wound up releasing both Ontario and early and so the cowboys free agency class does not live. Great. Obviously, Joe McCoy got hurt and was released again a little bit of a particular issue there ha ha Clinton dix didn't even make the team for the regular season obviously Everson Griffen was traded Darryl Worley Dante repoed the latest cuts moist Kennedy opted out. I it is rough. The cowboys did bringing Alden Smith Oh in free agency and that history paid off Greg or line was a member of the free agency class, and maybe you feel good about that it to the watermelon king I suppose but. This. This is where the cowboys are at their purging they're reading. Obviously the NFL trade deadline is next week but due to covid protocols. Teams are moving a little bit more quickly than some might have originally expected but that is the
"demarcus" Discussed on Lakers Nation Podcast
"Is that something that you would recommend that he he do like. Is it safe for him to do that? Or is it something where he should really just wait until next season and we shouldn't see him at all even if it's been a year from the injury. Yet and that's a good question, and to be to be fair and clear I. Don't know what his medical history looks like I. Don't know what is going on behind the in the locker room with between him and his trainers hysteresis docks. So that's will stab. Wish that I in terms of is safe. Yeah most athletes actually return to play around for example NFL players. They're well documented to be back around. Nine or ten months, and they're probably ready before that some of just the lag time between when they tear in the next season starts, and so around the diner ten month mark, these players can come back. To play at at pretty high levels, so the ACL tear itself is not something that might scare them away, but if his overall workload if they don't think that he's ready because of a specific history because of his specific. Propensity to get these sort of connective tissue type of injuries, if his, if the trainers and the physicians and the therapist don't think that he should come back because it just don't see a functionally like his strength and flexibility, etc. isn't there then bill. They'll collectively make that decision that hey, you might as well just wait until next year. So that's an answer that I don't necessarily know, but on average he should. It should be safe, but we also don't know how much progress he's made. It right when demarcus cousins realistically like his career could be on the line here right leg if he comes back, and it's a little bit early and let's say he's just not quite moving properly. And then he suffers a different injury. Right because that can happen where you're compensating for one thing or mentally. You don't have that confidence in that that joint or whatever? And you suffer a different injury that could put them in a really interesting situation being the fact that he'll be a free agent whenever free agency opens and he's. GonNa want to sign another contract so that I? Think would have to factor in his decision as well. Absolutely and the thing too is that he is in a position where he like you said he's making a decision for for his career, and he's really gotta start looking in the Mirror, and say you know I've been through this much and X Y and Z. Am I am I personally radio? You said psychological. You know even if all I check all the green boxes, my psychologically ready to be back on the court because there's something to that..
Discipline and Determination
"First of all let me just say thank you so much for taking the time out to talk with us. I certainly do appreciate it. Thank you for having me. I appreciate you having that the second thing I like to do is to ask you to tell us about yourself now when I say that. Many feel free to go all the way back to when Benny I started all as you can start more current day. Tell us about yourself born and raised in Detroit. Michigan will actually outside Detroit. You know a couple of years from places to Middle School. And Grosse Pointe Mosul elementaries who rose point in moved out the Southfield and went to Detroit Country Day high school where I played three sports basketball for a ranch ride one to eight inches and buy raw and one in track championship. Long Jumper graduated from there might style ship offers to play for Bond College and chose to go to Michigan State University. Where but there for five years by four years leading receiver on in junior and senior there on the Rose Bowl in twenty thirteen one of the best teams initials state history when we went thirteen one. Nedley to seminated professionally. That did not get drafted. I'm currently wanted to my season in the NFL won the Super Bowl and Denver in two thousand sixteen play my first four years in Denver for the last two years. I've played in New York last as Peyton Manning. The plane would be lamenting though nine and author. And you know that's just a little bit about me. I am a brother team. Want rather than two. I have two parents and step mom so I had a great people around me and I've been able to do things in my life with the help is a family friend fantastic. I don't even know where to start. We're GONNA take a quick left turn and learn a little bit more about you. What's your favorite thing to do now for you? I'm going to say outside of football. I enjoy things. I enjoy travelling. Recently you know taking a couple of trips to Mexico I would agrees go to. La Lived in New York to travel. Highlights been time with family and friends love being around my friends and you know guys that I played with friendships that I've grown throughout the year. I do enjoy reading. That's why also why I wrote a book enjoy learning from April. I and I really movie out will love data. What's your favorite movie right? Now I would say green book. I really like an movie of all time. You know you got any denzel movie really this one. The greatest actors of all time so American gangster within her faith a thousand disgrace got it so talk a little bit about your journey because a lot of times when people think about athletes we all understand how hard it is and how you have to be disciplined and Yadda Yadda Yadda talk a little bit. About what it takes to be successful not just athletically but in general you gotta work hard wood. I'd like to tell people is that success doesn't happen in a day. It happens every single day. When you say you have to be disciplined after that the right at the set goals that you really want to achieve like a new one to be a professional athlete. I didn't know if it was going to be for baller basketball but every single day like I was working towards that and our talented anybody out there. Yes be disciplined is very important but being persistent stand persisted toward your goal like Adobe Wall Time It took me twenty two years and come a pro athlete. Isn't that something happened overnight or happened. After a couple years at Michigan state not had been working for this pretty much. Whole Life. Now always consciously gone toward something but once. I started at Age Fourteen. Fifteen years old like all right. I WANNA be a professional athlete. I'm working towards that every single day. So success doesn't happen in a day. It happened every single day goal. Said you gotTA break in long-term goals down to your short term goals and your short term goals in T- long-term wills data. Thanks this so talk a little bit about your book. Why a book reflection reflection of where I met in my life and that things that I've been able to accomplish as a team as an individual and also the people that have been arrived around so great players and I've learned a lot of grey base of why not share those things with the world. Does I know with certain books have done for me in my life. And that's why I wrote one and why not inspired me. So that's why I'm so when people pick up and read it. What are they gonNA take away from it? This is like a self help. Books like self actualize books. And they're going to realize that they have all the power in everything that they have that they want to achieve their goals or dreams right inside a woman. They'll just Meyer Goldberg from a semis stories. But some of the people that I have in the book like my brother or Draymond Green Dr Quiz demarcus ware also has some fringe were entrepreneurs or in the book as well because connected. One person in the world is Allie. I want them to also learn from friends who still have the same doubts fears and insecurities still were able to overcome those things. There are ups and downs in life if you really want something. You're going to have to stay precision discipline and go after it. And that's what I just want be learning. I want people to take away from it. Give us some insight on one of the time because I know I'm in a season and in time in my life where I have had the thought. Okay I want to give up. I don't WanNa to do this anymore. What about you have you ever had a time in your life or in your career where you wanted to give up? You wanted to quit. But you didn't and help US UNDERSTAND. What made you continue on? I don't think I ever wanted to give quit. I would always tell myself dot to give up or quit in. Ireland will just know that. I would have a lot of regrets if I did give up to quit so I don't think I've had very cut moments like man. I don't WanNa feel this pain or I don't WanNa feel dizzy or fear a life. I've always told myself like you're going to regret this. If you don't go back out there or try so I don't ever want to give up but I just like everybody else. I've had my fears. That's an insecurities but I'll always tell myself. You gotta go for the asked. You knew each yourself up. If you don't get it was was one of your biggest failures if you describe it that way personally. I don't consider anything that I don't achieve as a failure but talk a little bit about some of those moments for you. What was the biggest moment in your life where he thought? Wow Man that Dingo will. I have moments like this every year but the first time. I've really felt a big failures. Probably my Richard Junior year at Michigan State. That'd be twenty twelve and I dropped. Touchdown passes on a big nationally televised game on ABC. And now that was the first time where you know they gain was really on my shoulders. I mean only happened in the first quarter. But you know you know. Lose game first quarter but I like that play could have made by different game. That was the first time night. They'll those fears and insecurities all that nervousness said. That's when I really got into understanding the mind. How strong the MY IDEAS? I can care of your mind. How IMPORTANT MODEL
I Love Costco, Bible 101, and Don't Go Back to What Broke You
"Good Morning. Everyone it's time and you Chrissy. Confessions how are you doing today? Julie I am doing okay. I mean folks. I mean I don't know whether to talk about the tornado. Victims here in Tennessee are do I talk about corona that's infested and infected the world. I mean I'm just thinking what do we talk about other than corona? I mean. I've never seen anything like it asked my parents. They've never seen anything like it. I've asked my mother-in-law she's never seen anything like it. I mean who would have thought that the most powerful country on the face of the earth would shut until it's people they have to stay in their homes now folks. I advocate staying in your home. I mean let me be very clear and that cough that you hear Julia's an allergy. By the way and yes we went and both got tested. Because I am a hypochondriac between me and Jay Demarcus we keep our doctor on call. Twenty four seven. It's so scary and I mean it's and it listen it finally got chasing Savannah's attention. It has made them nervous. And 'cause when you shut down a country that tells you how serious things are. It is very very serious at this point. I mean folks I went to Cosco. Does that tell you how serious this thing was? Yeah right assets and this was at the onset. This was at the very beginning. Everything was really shut. Dan Yes you did go to twice you went to Cosco and because I was afraid that what if we ran out of something or whatever so I didn't want Julie exposed to anything so I thought okay as usual todd will take the bullet and I went to Cosco and I have to tell you. I love a cost guide. I do I love Cosco. I mean you can go in by like all this stuff in bulk. I mean you could find no that now okay now have only been going for twenty years but that's okay right but I mean you know I. I didn't know how to do it but I did it on my own. If you'll remember you had to send me a copy of our card right but but I guess my thing is is that. I hope that everyone is staying in. I hope that you're staying away from those people who are most susceptible which are the elderly and people with A compromised immune system Because I mean I'm reading stories every day of younger people who are literally fighting for their lives. Well there's one in California that that a under the age of eighteen that passed away yesterday. There's this young man in New Jersey. That's twenty something years old a picture of health that's now being transferred to was it paying hospital. Therein Pins Pennsylvania something for this new new treatment and so folks it's hitting everyone. I mean everyone. I'm going to take my mother food today. But I'm putting it on her front porch and then calling and telling her to come out and get it because I'm practicing truly social social distancing. I mean if I'd done that many years ago I'd had less trouble than one I've had but I mean it's it's to the point now too where you have to be doing what the doctors and the experts are saying to do what I found and you always give a shout out to anything that comes from South Carolina. 'cause it's where you are from. Did you hear Lindsey Graham yesterday when he was on the news where he said that if they did not pass this bill for nothing? It's two trillion dollars as the stimulus that he was going to go to the House on the floor and he was going to demand that the that the country stop paying everyone in the Senate and in the House and in the Congress to shut off their benefits and their pay until they could do their job. It's time to come to get time to together and you don't get to sit here at a time of crisis start negotiating for something that you couldn't get pushed through to begin with. But when I was laying in the bed listening to him I was like way to go. Lindsay is so true because it is an I do believe this is the Good Lord. That is saying okay. I put pebbles in your path and you refuse to look at it so now. I'M GONNA put a boulder in your match right. You guys are GonNa have to work together. Put Your differences differences aside and let's kit this country running again and we don't have to be a Democrat or Republican. A A socialist libertarian to have compassion for our fellow man. It's right I mean. Politics should have no play in compassion right and just taking care of each other exactly and so you know it's been a this whole thing has been very eye opening to the point that you know when you look at where we are and how people are responding to things and what have you. I mean it's it's it's overwhelming it really is. I mean I was listening to the mayor of New York talking and he was calling out the federal government shocking shocking that we would be doing that but he was calling out the federal government and saying that okay mayor. The governor the governor. I'm sorry Governor Governor Cuomo and he was calling the federal government out and saying okay but where are these ventilators right? Where are these what he was saying was? Why can't we put the supplies where they are needed? Most exactly because his state has more cases than any any state in the United States and I completely agree with him. You know we have it. Why things sitting surplus when we get people needing it. It's crazy exactly and so you know it really is when I look at you know I was in the grocery store because I yes folks I went to a Publix and this little old lady was in there and she was looking for hot dog buns and I had. I had you know two packs of hot dog buns in my buggy. And because that's what Juliette told me to get and they didn't have any more hot dog buns. I don't even eat hotdogs. People and I don't even care if how does our home Julia's the one who is determined. I guess she thinks that by eating a hotdog. It makes you more American. I've hated hotdog. My whole life and chloe likes them and again hurt her to have a hot dog once a month so. I had but you told me to get two bags to have overly so I gave this lady a thing of this hot dog binds and she said Oh honey. You're young. You probably have children. She says I can do without folks this little. Old Lady said she could do without. She was willing to sacrifice thinking that I had young children and that I needed a more than she. Well I didn't and I gave them to her. So you know it's those kind of things that there is still people out here that have compassion for their fellow human being yep and we need to continue more of that and we do need to continue more of that and I feel like that we in my family for the most part are very compassionate. People that we do have kind compassionate hearts but even I want us to be better absolutely we all can improve in

"Game was great. But we're going to rewind to Saturday night controversial slam dunk contests watches. Aaron Gordon Dunk off the side of the backboard spinning. Razi -solutely incredible. It was one of Gordon's five fifty point slams on the night so he obviously one right now. No we didn't.
Brandon Krieg on Solving Real Problems
"In the pod Brandon. Krieg the founder and CEO of Stash Brandon. I did this podcast over the phone right after money. Twenty twenty and it's just a super interesting story for anyone that doesn't know stashes building that consumer finance company of the future all at Brandon. Describe what it is. But let's get into the interview brandon. Welcome to the PODCAST. Thanks thanks for talking with me today. I'm really happy to be here. Yeah you're in New York. I'm an la just before we hit record and we were talking about the weather which city is better but outside outside of that. I'd love to hear about your background. You from the East Coast like how'd you How did you get your start? Yeah I'm a born in New York and I grew up in New York and a night spent a number of years in Florida and then came back to New York in nineteen ninety eight and got involved in an electronic trading business. I have never looked back since so New York is a is my home. I've now been accurate for cash. Almost twenty years I love I love my time in New York. It's awesome so electronic training. That was your that. Was Your first job out of school or was there something else. Yeah I I when I got to school I WANNA I. I wanted to be a chef. I didn't know what I wanted to do. Or confused might just didn't know and I ended up moving to New York and found a couple of guys that were starting up a electronic trading business that was gonna be a consumer side of it and they asked me to join them and I ended up staying there. The company's called industry. I started there in nineteen ninety eight and I stayed there through An amazing amazing Entrepreneurs where we grew the business. We sold the business to a firm called nine capital and I stayed there for another six so I think it was eight. Eight and six was almost like the fifth call fifteen years at the same place that I loved every day of it and it was really to. We basically worked really hard to innovate A business where we provided a real time trading tools to professional investors. It was much different than what I'm doing now l. but it was. I feel like it was a good foundation for me to learn about the capital markets. Also be the force of change in Markets through electronic trading. So it was it was a it was a fun fun period and I feel like part of my life led me to what I'm doing now right so I I guess I'd like to hear you explain the product a little little bit more. It's like a kind of a high end E. Trade for for stockbroker for traders. That are more sophisticated. Yeah so straits business. This was around taking markets that that had a couple of issues one There was a lot of information leakage market. So you know this at the beginning was was when most of the orders redone over the telephone. And so if you gave your orders were broker and you gave your true intentions. You wanted to buy or sell a lot of stock. Unfortunately originally some of that information would leak out to the market. As the person executing the trade would start Start Trading and people would quickly figure out the true intentions actions of the order and then the market move really quickly you love. The other problem with demarcus was that there was a lot of fragmented liquidity. So this is without a time when it wasn't just the Nasdaq. In The New York Stock Exchange there were electronic networks have stock trading popping up in. There was nothing really out there to connect them all together other and so we created a smart router that looked at all of different places. You can trade all the prices on liquids and started making decisions on where to route that order and that's really the business that was in which was to put the customer's order and take the customer's order in trying to do the best job. We could an execution order on behalf of the customer. We did it as agents which means we have A. We didn't take any interest outside of our commission so our job is to get the best price and control the impact of the order on the market so it was basically about creating efficiency. For professional investors. This Hedge Funds Endowments Pensions Mutual Funds. And it's funny talking about it now. I haven't spoken about this so long. Like fumbling a little bit. It's kind of funny bash now for almost five years tonight really. Haven't thought too much about that but but it was on funding. What's what's really interesting? Now is a look back at all the work we did you. Oh at Ed Straight at night. It's Kinda really commoditised now. It a lot of that work we originally did isn't really special anymore. It's mainstream when I was starting it. It was really about combining tack and Financial Services. Like the chew I in Tech. I guess you'd say although we didn't have a fancy buzzword at the time and and And now it's just mainstream accepted. It's normal but when I started. It wasn't the norm. People thought we were crazy right so it was is is really cool. That is that is very cool so the last question here on the on the very beginning of your career is. You're doing something that people think are crazy. You said like you want to be a chef. So how did how did you get to this. Where would you try to be a chef de? I don't actually don't like cooking very much. I'm going to go. Do you know try and trading raining like where did this. Where does this opportunity come from? And then how did you evaluate like you were just like young. I don't addressing. Let's let's go do it. I mean look I mean for me I like the inherent risk and manage. Risk is something that I enjoy. I loved cooking my family's in the restaurant business. I decided. It just wasn't right for me because I didn't like the hours and the pay was pretty terrible and I wanted to do more of my life and technology was always closest to my art and so when I came to New York I was looking for something like marry tacking also kind of work close to Wall Street because I always watched all the Wall Street movies and those really cool never really understood that much. I just think it was right. Place right time together with these two amazing guys that I spent a lot of time with them. I'm still really close. A master all twenty two years and so it was really about the. The opportunity was right for me to to dive into something that I thought was really interesting. I had no idea where this journey would take. I think frankly you know I I still saved my first. He's dubs from when I started with It was a very very low amounts of but I like the business. I like the direction of the company. I like the market. Were taking on because you could see how inherently flawed God the market was at the time that company started and the risk was a no-brainer. And at the same time. I got what I wanted. which was to work can check on Wall Street which is really cool and not a big thing back out no none Brennan? That is super cool You said you were you were there for what like nine or ten years and then the company the company sold and like what was what was that process like like going through through an acquisition. That was really cool. I actually it was. Yeah I was there for nine. Years before was sold in the acquisition was amazing night was very thoughtful about helping us maintain the the culture and the mission nations of the event trade There and I loved it. It challenged me in all kinds of new ways because it was a much larger company with close to two thousand employees. I think we sold entreat him. It's like it was like eighty. I think remember anymore like eight people and we were you know we were a very it closed team and when we went over tonight they allowed us to be a close team went until prosperous Organization that was doing a a lot of things that they were a very big participant in the markets but not as big in the agency electronic trading side so it was a natural fit is where I saw acquisition really work and make sense and I loved it i. I stayed much longer than by deal signed for two years. I was there for five and a half and I did that because as I loved it and I love the people culture and But like anything. Sometimes it was time to go and I ended up leaving after five years and so have a ton of friends Aaron. I think it's a great group of people there that that do that. Not For me anymore but I have a new love affair which is consumer Mer financial services. Right it was a it was a good opportunity to not only to see this little baby that I helped start grow and grow up but also for me professionally to see what it was like to work at a much. "It gets closed the trade deadline headline then you have GM sweating and Al and the GM's that really need to make a trade for whatever reasons. Those of the deals that may slip under the radar that may be the difference between a team really producing. NTN`Er team really not producing a right next to the trade deadline. Those the ones I I really wanna see because those the ones that are executed in haste there not couple cited some those have a tendency to be more one sided than any other traits that we see so. I'm looking forward to that a whole week. Well this whole week when it concerns the NBA trade deadline A lot of things going on right now with the rumors and all the stuff. That's out there. One thing I do want to tell fans out there before we head on out is that the I know. There's a lot of things that are being set out there from these experts from these journalists from these podcasts that you're listening to out there as far as NBA hardcore fans are concerned. One of the things you're hearing is bird rights pertaining bird rights. Oh this guy doesn't have a big rides. Oh the the team will get his bird rights. I WANNA make sure everybody understands. What are bird rights at Burger is basically it stands from? Yes Larry Bird dealing with the contract situation. -Tuation the Boston Celtics longtime ago. Basically it's something that's now done on. The collective bargaining agreement and also with the players and owners has been formally set up bird bird rights according to go ahead with sports lingo dot com user exact termination. Here's someone to quote them. Bird rights is a term used to describe a tactic an NBA free free agency or trading or trading where a team is allowed to exceed the salary cap at the maximum salary in order to sign one of their own players. That's something that a Lotta people need understand what it concerns the lingo. That's going on right now because you're going to hear a lot about those two words bird rights you know if they trade a player and the the team can still retain the bird rights or if they can't because if they can't that makes a lot of difference especially those tax strap teams those those that are over or close to the tax if they cannot retain these players if they don't have their bird rights so that's something very important key to listen to down the road over the next next few days whether team is going to trade for a player that they can keep their bird rise because it it helps these teams for the long term if they want to go ahead and resign nineties players with Saudi. I JUST WANNA go ahead give heads up because I hear all this bird writes this bird rights at at nobis explaining really what bird rights are player has asked to stay with the team for three years in order to earn his bird rights in bird. Ruts don't do anything. Help team avoid luxury taxes. But what they they do. is they allow an exemption so that they can basically pay the guy whatever they want they allow them to go over the CAP. It doesn't prevent them from making taxes. They can go over the cap even go into a luxury tax situation. But it still doesn't prevent them from pain a luxury tax. So t Michael Akers. For example the Lakers signed demarcus cousins to a one year deal if they signed him to a two year deal next year next summer then he would be a three year contract contract and at the end of that contract they would have his bird rights they could then sign him to whatever amount they want regardless of where they how over the CAP. The cap gap doesn't even matter to them it would put them into luxury tax of the gave him a big contract and they still have to pay the luxury tax but they would be able to go ahead and sign him. No matter are
Super Bowl Player Predictions
"All right Kramer kick things off. What is your first? I Chiefs Related Super Bowl profit. Well we started by talking about We started super bowl week by talking. About how one of the angles is this chiefs rushing attack I the niners rushing defense. which is the weakness of this team? They are San Francisco's defense thirteenth and adjusted line yards on the D. Line in eleventh and DVR against the run. This team has not gone under this total of eight and a half eighteen rushing yards. They've only got under that once in the last. Ten Games I it seems almost too obvious that they'll they'll be attacking hacking this angle so it gives me a little pause but like I said they've gone over this total nine out of ten. It's not a bad matchup. People will point out all with San Francisco's got a great defense. They got a good defense. They don't have a great defense against the run so there will be opportunity. Andy Andy. Reid is one of the greatest coaches in the again. One of the greatest offensive minds not to win a superbowl for sure not to win the Super Bowl but he he he gets running backs ax to produce no matter what they look like. So eight and a half yard seem silly. They've gone well north of two hundred in both games. This does seem really low. Oh I couldn't be jumped right off the screen emmy as a former tight end as a A former are you referencing as a former China and I also worked with a hall of Fame First Ballot Rob Gronkowski which Danny worked on the show as well we got a witness not know how to Pronounce Chore Four In Person. George sure calling worse. Instead of Chore Sports He Kept Calling at George Sports all right rob just one more time. He's like coming up George now the wartime I think it's the sports and then finally the Co host is like you don't know what a chore is like Washing Dishes Sweeping floors and he goes. I never did any jurors ores growing up. I was too busy scoring touchdowns to smile. This big GROG again channel. He thinks he's GRONK. He thinks he's King of the BRAS. There's only one continue the bras. And it is Travis Kelsey. I'm taking Kelsey to have more receiving yards than than kindle over. You're still you're still avenging. Take a loss in the albro category. I was bullshit that he didn't get in. And I think kindles little overrated and I liked the minus one and a half yards Kelsey Chelsea against Kendall that's risky bro. Kelsey is an a seasoned bro now older Keel. Those two young. He's only as a young and up and coming Bro. I I think he's again. This is just I had the early take. I kill sucks at home instead of adjusting to the optics or the reality. I'm GonNa just lean in. I'm going all in on trump. So you know. Sometimes you're presented with evidence and you just have to ignore it. I'm locked in. I'm okay I was GONNA see. Danny I know you gave me your props one. You liked Nicole Hardman. I just love McCall Hardman in this game we he. He caught a pass in the chargers. Game to really start the ball. This was the week. Seventeen chargers game caught a pass to get the ball. Rolling with our offense later had a sweep. Like they're we're GONNA use them. They've been waiting to use him for something if he's maybe it's a sammy. Watkins Pass. I would say if you're gonNA scheme something like that up the other end of it is going GonNa be somebody like Nicole Hardman McColl Hartman. Scores a touchdown in this game was three hundred over at my book. Make some money this guy. They've been sitting on what he can do all season. They've been waiting for him to get better at whatever the hell it is route running. You know timing. Whatever it is that he needed to do? He's doing it. He's more trust in the offense. I think more so than demarcus Robinson I think he scores a D.. In this game let me ask you Sean. Do you take over twenty three and a half yards over one and a half catch or over fifteen and a a half yards for longest catch. Well I guess I'll jump to my second one because it's literally one of those. How when I wrote it down McColl Hardman's that's total over? mybookie was twenty three and a half up to twenty six or twenty. Six ounce. Sounds like it's down to twenty three and a half. Do whatever it is. I like it over. This kid is a burner. Oh I think he can get it in one catch again speed kills and I think they're gonna be focusing on Hill. He's along I don't think is going to have a huge game now. Maybe breaks it off. Maybe he does but I think Sal is going in there with that mindset of. We're not letting tyreek Hill beat us in this game so I I'm throwing a little a little tiny tyreek hill and beat and didn't mention the field. That's always trying to move past that I feel like don't you. You want to protect yourself against that one catch for twenty one yards and just take longest reception over fifteen and a half. Oh see well that was total yards. But you're right I yeah what do you want to do. So you're saying I feel you'd be gets a catch. It's going to be like a twenty yarder. Always does he get the second catch to get over catch props over the total total yardage lab take longest or first reception is twelve and a half yards now. Hopefully they don't go to a screen or something to him. It's Y- yeah. Is it a reception as it. Total yards what we talking about my twenty three and a half was total receiving received but Kramer is making a case here and a good case. That maybe you're better off off just playing the over. I catch or global catch. He's only expected to have one and a half. So maybe two and they're saying twenty-three which means they're expecting directing two catches of twelve yard. That's an interesting way to all right so you talked me into all right. GimMe Gimme. I'll switch it up. I'll give I'll go over. I catch twelve and a half yards. Now no actually. I'll stick with my total because I want to. If he doesn't get it on the I catch then I have some live bets. Already have have too much stuff going to see what we're having here is. We're having the synapses firing in my going on right. Now we're in the car with with Johnny and Johnny's Janis driving and we just had a discussion that he was going to have with his buddies later. Now he doesn't have to have that conversation tech. We've sorted it out. He's not gonNA play. I cash over twelve and a half hour. We're going to move forward. What's your second point of the discussion? Sammy Watkins over three and a half catches this is I ah I I know I'm chasing a little bit. But I do like the angle that they are gonNA shut tyreek Hill down. I like the angle that they're going to try to shut Travis Kelsey down and and I'm probably going to attack props around everyone else A Hill and Kelsey are going to be the chalk your plays for the yardage rich props be more people will probably play those overs. So I'm GONNA attack is like Sammy. Watkins and I think he is the guy that is going to benefit the most. Because he's the guy that seems to be running more their possession stuff and as they stretch the field vertically Sean they call that taking the top off the deep and that leaves a lot of room in the middle for a guy like Samya walk in so I really like him to get three and a half catches. I mean you you got to figure how many throws is Patrick Mahomes GonNa have. I can't imagine he's having less than forty throws which means I can't imagine having less than like thirty two thirty two catches and then if you take the attempts so over or even the pass yards over with homes what is actually looked at it. Plays out in both scenarios. Where either they're throwing the ball a lot and winning or if they do get down there behind hind they're playing catch up? It makes sense for either a Kansas City win or unfortunately San Francisco win the over and and then passing the ball. It does kind of make sense. We haven't talked a ton about the running backs Darwin Thompson. What is he involved in this game I think so I mean the over are underway? What one and a half Kerry Russia rushing attempts? I mean there's lesean McCoy is persona non grata. Now he's he had some fumble issues he. He's he's actually quick and I have liked watching him break off a few

Who is more important to the Dallas Cowboys: Ezekiel Elliott or DeMarcus Lawrence?
"Would you say is more important to the success of the dallas cowboys ezekiel elliott demarcus lawrence simple question well. I would say this is zeke elliott but for reasons that aren't as apparent. He had seventy seven catches ashes. He's a factor in their passing and we we agree. Zeke light is more valuable to the dallas cowboys and demarcus lawrence marcus lawrence pete over twenty million dollars. A year out of context is everything zeke. Elliott has two more years on his contract. He has no place to go. They could franchise him after that so that is a big look. He's really important but where else this is he gonna go. He has two years remaining. That's what makes it hard and it's not just the two years remaining the to franchise tag after that third franchise tag if they wanted so you could make the argument that dallas controls zeke's rights for five more seasons and get ice about until he decides through the collateral damage and all of this is the play the teammate you sitting there you you know nancy. We had the preseason bahamas. You're now. Everybody's focus week. One game plan in for the giants here. We're planning for the giants. We're getting ready for a divisional opponent and our best player has named reported. You know how much of a down of that is going into the the season will all everyone has all this optimism because everyone's owino right every it's a clean slate for everyone. You had a data zeke elliott. There hasn't ed's reporting and damian from a player's perspective. Here's the other thing anybody could get zeke elliott signed. That's the easy part. The context is dot prescott amari cooper byron aaron jones and starring see so you want your teammate in there but in the back of your mind as veteran. You're like wait a second. How much of the pies left for me so you have to really artful in terms of saying well. I got to be able to get jailing smith signing because he can't leave the marcus lawrence of good pass rusher but i gotta leave enough money for these other players because the starting quarterback he can't go anywhere. He may not happy elite but they've won. A lot of games with the sky is one. We'll say mike and i'm sorry but this is the dallas cowboys for for building team around zeke elliot. You look out of the dallas. Cowboys are constructed. They are like one of the few teams that their bill ronald running back. Okay so dallas cowboys put themselves in this position right now and now they're paying the piper because zeke elliott zeke elliott has perform and then maybe the top running back in the national football. He sees what the future is running running back position and he's sitting there saying i'm not i need it. I need to withhold services right now if i don't do it right now. I'm never going to get paid like like the other top running back. You're the best argument you can make for zeke elliott. They were fifth in the n._f._l. Last year and time of possession translate look at their defense. They were top five defense because they were never on the field. There were twenty two point scored but zeke elliott kept the their defense off the field bottom line. What's the eleventh-hour in this. I think that once you get to next week next week we get past monday or so monday or tuesday not complete the opener which again juries now bracing for an expecting and i think the problem with this situation with melvin gordon the longer it goes on the more things are said the more issues pop up we already heard jerry jones one say zeke coup which basically insulted zeke as agent so these things going. You never expected last year. After a couple of weeks. Steelers offensive lineman would be critical levian bell and they were and that inflamed the situation association and led to hurt feelings and eventually led to levy on bell sitting out the year so once you get this far into the game and they're so many sides with so much at stake everything is very personal sensitive and it's very risk but there there's a big distinguishment here. Fear does the work of reason. Maybe i'm bell was a free agent. J._v. soundcloud can be free agent. Zeke elliott's going anywhere at some point. He has to be reasonable because if he wants to play football is going to be all you with that but what i would say to you there is this in the next time zeke elliott steps on the football field he has he's not gonna be out there until he gets new contract when it gets a new contract what's the guarantees on that you tell me why would he stepped foot on fulfill. Find me take who am i sell it. I'm not stepping foot on a football field until i have my thirty forty whatever the number raising guaranteed millions of dollars and i'm not risking myself getting an a._c._l. Injury were some kind of career threatening injury. That would damage value. You keep your three point eight million dollars dollars this year. You keep defines. They come with that. We'll see how it goes if i'm sitting out the season and not playing and there are questions every day season to sabotage and if i'm jerry jones is stephen stephen jones. I'm betting on my offense align. I'm betting on good quarterback. I'm getting on the return of jason witten and every game i win. I'm more voted in my position and that's how why this whole thing is gonna implant and i've been in that situation. I'm like boy. We hold up without the role rears omnitel his agent we can but that's what kept me up at night and that's really where the cowboys are can only pollard pass protect. I promise you the first time that he gives up a sack. That's gonna put more money in zeke. Elliott's pocket and that's why i said at the beginning zeke elliott is right. The dallas cowboys right. Both sides are right now. The question is figuring out a solution that works for everybody that helps them save their season and help zeke. They don't either talk about it again on monday today to announce they are inactive ninety minutes before kick-off. I'm saying the eleventh hours like ninety one minutes as long as as long as he can get sign on that day on sunday before kick-off saturday four o'clock right he'd have to be in a roster exempt. It's a great point susan because they could get roster exemption so maybe they could sign him. He could work out for a couple of days but it'd be saturday and then as you're limit though

"And I think frankly, the pressures on Houston, it would be an indictment of everything Houston if Chris Paul's healthy, everybody's healthy. And the warriors aren't down one starter. They're down to I they don't have DeMarcus cousins, they don't have. Kevin durant? That's forty points at fifty points, especially like, and it's not like they have depth coming depth the scores coming off the bench. They don't have Jamal Crawford coming off the bench. And so I I I'm interested to see exactly how this thing plays out. And I do think that the warriors they take a look at everybody they cycled through their bench. But I think they played a win until winning. I if it is not an option, then you pack it up for game seven. So I look the rockets I like them big. Because as I said, I think the warriors eventually we get to the second quarter halftime arts at twenty point lead. We're gonna try to do it. I like the rockets in game seven because the warriors are going to need something from somebody else beside that's not named clay Steph or Draymond. And you said look they this is a team that that is down to starters. You know, you're down the best player in the NBA. You're down boogie cousins. You don't have the bench. You had when you first took the NBA by storm when you had guys coming off the could make big plays when Shaun Livingston would have a game where he hey, he's twelve and seven. Wow, it's pretty games on hundred Barbosa would come off the bench and have a big game and Harrison Barnes would play big. And you get all the tonight's where none of those guys are working, but Festus Healy was fourteen and ten you have nights you had you had a deeper team. And you don't have that. Now, you're getting into game six game seven and Steph and. Clay are going to be exhausted. Draymond it's not a big shot maker. I mean, the guy I mean to watch this what fourteen in a row, and then hits that big that big three at the end of the game. But he's screaming. Like, I just you know, it's my fourth three of the last three minutes..

"I don't know. I just know a Cowboys fans are going to be saying they're all fired up and they're nervous. You won't be ready for the season. And you know, I don't want to put you in games. You don't wanna be in DeMarcus? See the thing this whole, you know, contract situation and everybody wanted me to get my shoulder done. Like, I think they keep the game that I play with, you know, a broken back two years in a row, and I don't think the pain in the shoulder can ever match up to the pain that I had to deal with with the back. So I don't really think it's gonna be issue. Only thing it can be issue. If I try to rush it, you know, and and I heard it again, you know, what I mean? So and on eat rescue. I'll just keep working on my fundamentals, and you know, trying to become the best football there. I can. And I'll be okay. Couple more minutes left with DeMarcus Lawrence Dallas Cowboys with a big new nine figure contract from the Dallas Cowboys right here on the rich Eisen show. So what what what did you learn as a team the Dallas Cowboys last year that you were going to bring to the equation this year to perhaps go further than the team got last year DaMarcus? I mean, we just have a lot to build on just, you know, those last couple of games that we had one thing. I just wanna be able to preach to you know, my guys, and you know, the organization is that we can't start slow. You know, we gotta come out the gate swinging, you know, and and and start his off. Right. You know, 'cause hang allow, you know, like when we got sick around in the playoffs are list or again tired. You know, we wanted to play up to full abilities. Because it took about us took a lot out of us. And that's the other game. So we start fast, you know, solidify place and the division, and we should be okay. Walk me through who who becomes a hot. Boy, DeMarcus, you know, I've heard about the hot boys, and and this whole process of who decides who's in the hot boys and who's not how does that work on your defense. Right. Yeah. So hot way is all about you know, trying to trying to raise men trying to raise man off to fill in on the field in order to be a hot. Boy, you have to you know, put in work with your family. You know on you have to. I mean, like we we do by de LA Dennis every Thursday Friday is best to brain. You know, you're white flowers or you know, whatever you're not like. At end of the day..

They're like, oh, well, this is what happens in soccer Adam Jones headed situation that Fenway park. That's right. That that is a totally different sport than where DeMarcus cousins talking about this happening football players tell you about the things they here in the crowd. All the time. You've had games in hockey. Where people have have bananas thrown at them. This ain't about the sport in every time. Somebody tries to localize it in that way that MRs the larger point this racism stuff is not some isolated thing that just often some pockets in the way to people wanna talk about his try to put it off on this place. One thing cousins say it was I didn't wanna say what city these things happen. And he's like because I didn't want to put this all fan base. Because that's what happens it stops being about a larger macro issue. And it turns into will you know, how they are inserted. Place here, but there are solutions technological or otherwise, right? We have microphones we have cameras and arena is otherwise for Valence state. If the people who are doing this stuff truly want to ruin the fan experience for everybody. Right. Which is to say everybody is on a wire. Now, everybody gets taped recorded, then the NBA or any of these arenas concerned implement that. Or try this with that happens. Somebody like DeMarcus cousins DeMarcus cousins the whole team. It'd be like, you know, what we're not going back on the court until that dude, right? I actually saw post the other day where was the highest ticket for UNC. Duke game was twenty five thirty five hundred bucks. How much desire on C that's coming to see? So how much of that is he getting actually who does go to how does it benefit or who excuse me who does it benefit on that team? But if they were to get twenty dollars in a free meal there a bad kid. "We have another option with DeMarcus not only as a shooter. But as a screener tremendous screener. So a lot times Donald handle the ball and DeMarcus historian away for somebody else. Much like when we go get in Gaza, David west with great data screen, or you don't realize that like I mean, we knew that this position was a lot fainter coming into this season. But you don't realize how much they impact the ball handler or whether or not Draymond is handling the basketball when he has the play center before this year Steve Kerr made a statement about you know, I I really don't want to have to play drawn at the five and like two weeks in it was happening a whole lot. Like you had to do it. You you couldn't trust Damian Jones entirely. And he did make strides and you really wanted to keep kevon looney in your four spot. But it became apparent that that they needed another five. Right. I mean, we were talking joking. No, oh, we were talking. What are the Lopez Robin Lopez like who we were talking? Maybe you go get busy. You get Zach Randolph the Covent somewhere and try to bang for speaking of a big doughy body coming off the bench. We were talking about that for a while. Just can they get somebody else who can come in here and not necessarily be a rim-protector but be able to set screens let the offense run around them. So the Draymond does not have to be your big man, DeMarcus cousins, certainly does that Steve Kerr then yesterday practice checked in on what we were just talking about what brings to the floor and the matchup that the warriors have against them. I'll tell you what DeMarcus cousins isn't playing in this game. I'm not sure I trust kevon looney just tried to stop. Joel embiid. I mean, this is a team that eats from the inside out where here's we'll get out and run on team that will bend it down low. Joel Embiid, go to work. He can knock down a mid range. You can back down. He can block you. He can rebound and he can pass the ball. From the high post and the low post, so he does a lot of things. Well, and it causes a lot of problems for a lot of defenses should be a fun one tonight. Cousins versus Embiid here. Steve Kerr's thoughts beef sky.

Anyway, I figure I would do some investigating because as we were talking about DeMarcus cousins, and whether now whether you should call him boogie on the air. You had already made a decision that you were going to. And you ask my thoughts. And now if he tells me to start calling him boogie thou. You you best. Do it for self preservation, providing water bad be afraid of him? Exactly. You're smart man, Bob. I mean, if if he tells me to call them, Kevin Durant junior. Demarcus is a big, man. But I thought that DeMarcus cousins nickname come from his family for those very very close to him people that are like family. Do you know, and I was wrong. Do you know how DeMarcus cousins kaddish knickknacks? I do you do that. That's also probably why wasn't gonna call book. Okay. I did not know that he got it from Rod Strickland. Yep. When he was at Kentucky. And DeMarcus cousins, and she is we've seen this from Kentucky centers like Anthony Davis. They get these young men who grew up playing guard when they were in high school, and then when they get to Kentucky, they're big ass. So they're gonna play the big guy role, but they can still dribble DeMarcus cousins pretty adept at dribbling a basketball. Rod Strickland saw him doing that says something say the man, you got a lot of boogie, and it stuck. Did not know that. Yeah. It's not a it's not a terrible nickname. It's just it's you know, and and just not a big hurt. And there are nicknames that that just kinda fit. Remember when they were trying to give Joe Montana nickname, and they were trying to call him, Big Sky and all this other kind of stuff, and it's like, Joe cool. Yeah. Forced manufactured nicknames. Don't work just like giving yourself a nickname up talking about you. Kobe bryant. Yeah. That's, you know, call me the Black Mamba like, no, that's it. They they somewhat, you know, have to be organic. And then guys either like it or not like, I really think it, you know, we did this when we acquired them. You and I were there. We had the interview with Kevin Durant. Do you like slim reaper, which I think is phenomenal nickname. Outstanding. He hates it that like it. You know, it was like do you like Dharamshala, which is also? But let's say he really liked it. It would be fine. Nope. Don't like that one. Either. You know? So it was like remember we were like, well, what do you want to call you? He's like Kevin or Katie. Okay. Katie's short to the point. I like to call him. Kevin. No because everybody calls him, Katie. So let's mama com. Kevin McCollum, Kevin. So, but but it is fun. You know, guys sometimes bristle at their nicknames. And then sometimes they really embrace them because they're good and all that stuff. But you said it terms of dudes cryan different other rules that we have cannot give yourself at mcnary. Can't do that. I do. That is the move of world-class egomaniac. We'll give yourself a nickname. And I'm not even I'm not even saying that. There's anything wrong with being an ego maniac. But just don't get yourself, a nickname. Well, what I liked you. Don't do that gives himself the nickname. And then refers themselves in the third person on top of it. In the given nickname. So you know, the mama going with the Mamba going through. Stop it. To meta. You can't leave the Black Mamba. That you. Isn't that what your one of your things? What did you think Larry stat on fourteen and one for the underdogs in the NFL in the playoffs? Like, that's kind of a Downer. I mean, it doesn't surprise me. Because I do think once you get listen to me. Am going back to last week a sharp. They do those platelets. It shows you how sharp they do the lines. But I think also what it shows is. Once you get past the bad teams in the fakers in perpetrators once you get to especially where we are right now. These are all really good football teams that deserve to be here. And in my estimation. Just go back last week. And there was only one team. That was faking him perpetrating. And it was my Houston Texans other than that. I'll give everyone. Out of the teams who lost. I'll give them all the credit in the world for for putting up the the fights that they did, you know, Seattle. I thought put up a put up very good fight. You know, obviously what went down in the in the bears eagles game. But my point is that the bears Representative tells perfectly they are illegitimate team or something goofy. We'd be talking about them in the division around. My point is is that once you get to this point in the season. Everybody's good. Yeah. I think there's going to be one blow out this weekend. And it's it's more to the point. I wanted to be out of the four games. If you've been listening to the show for a while, you know, exactly which game talking about. No, no, no. I need me. Some good old fashioned Cowboys getting slapped off. You remember how happy I was a couple of years ago when Aaron Rodgers did him dirty. You remember remember that game was Aaron Rodgers stolen balls up and people in catching them because they would be placed in the only place that a receiver could get you. Remember, how happy I was not just that that next day that Monday before what ten days after that. That's what I need out of the Cowboys. And the Rams is there a lot of people saying the Cowboys going to win this game. And I pray to God that doesn't happen. So I need the Cowboys get embarrassed. But every team including the Cowboys everybody deserves to be at this point. And they're all good teams that are solid in darn near all phases of the game. Especially at at quarterback. So I I just think that because you get to this point not that everybody's evenly match. But everybody's so damn good. And they have strengths and their weaknesses are not all that. Crazy. I think you can get games where the underdogs make it close or and up covering so the. We got a couple of people in the text line at eight away. Camby are that throw out something from DeMarcus is days in Sacramento? But actually do kinda like is he said the kings fans called him DMC. I like that. I like that. I like that too. Yeah. Old school hip, hop run DMC shut up. Yeah. I'm a I I'm enrolling DMC. That's actually, that's pretty cool. So that's that one. I like all right. I better if I'm going to check with DeMarcus is just that here. We are at the point where you can talk about what am I going to call DaMarcus cousins. When he's on the court. We were not having this discussion. Obviously last year we've been having this discussion three months ago yet here we are coming up on game forty two for the warriors tonight. And we're not that far away from DeMarcus cousins actually balling out for the war. The text line almost dares us to say something. So which means of course, we're going to say it says even worse with the Kobe nickname. He gave himself that after Colorado. I'll see sorry if you can't say that on the radio damn, I should read the other techs believe that just happens to be Bob a provable. Fact that is that is we're engaging in any slanderous, Ed. Heavier six five O says when I was first in boy scouts the older scouts called me spot. Okay. Okay. No. Oh, no don't read the rest of that. Snow? That's how I learned about women. No, no. It's it's. Hey, it's a Friday, man. Oh god. Kamiar let this not be our last Friday. And we do have people co-signing on that slim reaper is a damn good nickname question. It's sitting there unused, man. Don't like men. Don't like it. What are we going now? I know, but that's. Kevin that's out of all the all-star voting. You know, that we talk about what just kind of goofiness and this and that if fans can't vote Kevin Gardner, Kevin Durant in for for starting front court, senators, three of them popularity contest, man. God he's so everybody knows. He's so good. But it's a popularity contest. That's that's one don't you? Once you realize in you, and you view it from the standpoint that all star voting all of it is a popularity contest. Then you start to understand some of the vagaries or downright confounding. Vote totals that come out during these during his popularity contests. But I just I just set somebody some number of nation. It's a good hacker. Like ruined the NBA voting system and make sure Durant is one of the top three time. What it is. He going to be is he going to be on one of the three all NBA teams at the. Yeah. You're right. Those are those are the ones that matters more than likely going to have a chance to once again be. NBA finals MVP. Oh, I think so why are we worrying about popularity contests thing? So I mean, I could understand if you're Kevin Durant or any athlete of his stature. And you are not being given the props that your game. So richly deserves. I can see you be afraid about that maybe getting on the internet social media. And then people know how you think about that. Please. We we haven't had a Kevin Durant. Clapping back at somebody on social media and a long long time. I'm just saying if there was any time for it to happen or any opportunity. It would be some serious mad disrespect coming his way when it comes to the NBA all star game popularity contests. I vote allergy saying I vote for Kevin for the next hour and a half of the show. Maybe somebody should get on Twitter and just you know, man, how shots fly six five. The question. What is clay's nickname clay? Yeah. Says he's suggesting t easy. For Klay Thompson t easy. Yeah. Good. Well, I guess the tease for Thompson. Oh, okay. Yeah. I don't know. Let's not one six I want strapped an entire can of Copenhagen my friends. Call me big dip. Okay. See? That's good. That's how you end up getting mcnabb's. Even if it nicknamed comes with you doing something stupid or infamous, you gotta wear you gotta take the don't get take that. There's there's no spill. You spill a hotel in Copenhagen. It's like fifteen dollars people watch you up behind that. One of my absolute lifelong best friends like I would actually be his alcoholics under any circumstances. Nickname was knuckles. And that was because when he was in fifth grade he'd beat up an eighth grader. I'm not lying. So I mean, listen, they have weight classes for reason. Why was he scoring with an eighth grader? What the hell was going on? I was limping off. Wow. Yeah. But that's so either knuckles or knocks of every is entire life. Man. We got we got friends that never knew his first name. I'm not I'm not lying to ask them. An eighth grader when you're ten years old. You can go with just one nickname for the rest of your life. Yeah. Let me but then one, but that's. In our fifties. It is an odd thing. Because because. No one's ready to throw hands in our group stepped up a white class and did work. Wow. I don't know if I could beat up at eighth grader now that it's. Not if that eighth grader has future designs on playing it Clemson, Alabama. Oh, man. You you see kids today? They swallow kids real big right now. I don't listen. I might not be able to get ready to just to drop the mic at the end of the segment. How about if we just call Klay Thompson Klay mate? Now's a good time. We will engage in serious basketball discussion, I never really serious but better basketball discussion with Howard Beck Bleacher report, seeing your NBA writer and part of the full forty eight podcasts we are passed the midway point of the NBA season game forty-two for the dubs tonight against the bulls a should win leading into a week of road games against better opponents, and we'll take a trip around the NBA two as well. And we will deep dive into all four NFL divisional playoff games as the Fitz and Brooks show continues on kmby or six eighty the sports leader. In brooks. Eighty. This is the end. Well, not the enemy, but the end of the first full work week of twenty nineteen Pat yourselves on the back end before the dubs balls. Aw. Marcus Thompson Jackson at four thirty with an update on the boogeyman. Now.
"demarcus" Discussed on KNBR The Sports Leader
"But you're gonna have to have someone who guarding you would think staff Klay, Katie, whatever they're going to have to keep an eye, correct? To on DeMarcus is doing and maybe just at least show that you're gonna come down and DeMarcus DaMarcus has been I'm even double teams six years. So so it's like you're gonna single well single cover him on the block. He's going to be like, okay here, we go. I will say this. The warriors won't need DeMarcus cousins. To beat the Washington Wizards they'll need DeMarcus cousins to help with New Orleans and LA both LA teams when they're down there. So when it comes to him coming back, okay? And bring DeMarcus cousins into this. Hey, man. When would you like to come back, it'd be easier against the Washington Wizards, but they don't need him for that. And you might you might need them to deal with Anthony Davis, or whatever the the clippers are the we're up against, but I do know. And it's to your point you already suss it out. They have asked. Medical staff away and obvious. Rick celebrating Dr Rick celebrating Steve to weigh in Bob Myers away in but DeMarcus and his people to weigh in in terms of let's make sure we're all good win this, and I think that's really smart and really collaborative. Absolutely. It's not like him going. I want this day, and they're like, no. Or the worst saying you're playing this date or else like it? This whole process has been really collaborated with everybody. So the day that they eventually do choose which obviously is in the offing. Everyone's going to be ready to roll, right? It is the Fitz and Brooks show on kmby are six eighty the sports leader will continue our talk and discussion about the warriors. And we'll get to some football related matters next on the Fitz and Brooks show. In Brooks on. So bad for so long. Maybe we should feel sorry for the knickerbockers. Hit the midway point out the season at twenty seven and fourteen Steph missed eleven games frame on this. I. Plus we continue to check under the bed for a sighting of. Man..
