"On since march the thirteenth stock market has just gone off. Its rails leg. Yesterday we were almost back to where we were like. When when i say within like a couple of digits almost back to where we were pre covid going crazy. What's going on with the market. Yeah it's crazy and that's a great question. I get this question all time from clients. And what i think you have to realize. Is that the stock market. Investors are always forward looking right. It's always a forward looking proposition so back. In march the the market the s. and p. Five hundred was down about thirty percent in three weeks right in that was essentially because the market was looking at corona virus. Are saying you know what this is going to be really bad in june july and august and so it. It was pricing in in march. Would it bought was going to happen. June july and august in so seen now is that the market is saying all right. You know corona virus is still pretty bad. But i think we can see to the other end of this thing though now so now. What you're seeing is the market china price in. What's going to happen in december january right with me so you can't look at the market as a static entity for what's happening right now it's always forward-looking. Wow that in itself is probably one of the greatest extent we can think because most people think about the market you know at least let me say most people. I have thought about the market like what's happening right now right. What's happening right now. Why sela tesla everybody's looking at tesla tested at thirty five thousand five hundred the other day And split was it thirty five hundred somewhere. It's split five to one right thirty. You know people like oh my god. I can by tesla stock right now apple all those apple stock that i bought into like you know a right after covert hit..

Dr. David Chao talks injuries
"Dr Child always good to have you aboard for the show. Thanks for having me. So when we look at some of the injuries that kind of flakes of the skill position talents We had a big one again in Tampa and it seems to be history repeating itself last week we talked about Mike Evans. His hamstring hamstring the season ending scenario. That played out there. Lo and behold Chris Godwin goes down with what looked like a similar injury last. We saw him carted off in the tunnel in Detroit. Coincidence there is there something going on in Tampa as it pertains to their wideouts in their hamstrings as we get into the tail end of the season they run them ragged and they throw the ball lot. That's probably the only Only Lincoln Yeah and if you really WANNA go conspiracy theory Mike Evans last week. You Scott Miller Another wide receiver earlier in the game in Chris Godwin in early in the season Perriman had a hamstring issue. So if you really trying to go that way but I think it's just coincidence and maybe some of it is They're still slinging the ball around quite a bit Four hundred fifty yards for James Winston This week so so they were running a lot of routes and so forth as we talked about Mike Evans Hamstring with significant and with only three games left. We thought you and I are candidate. I think the same something's GonNa fall for for Chris Godwin here. You know there's only two weeks left there the bucks out of it The hamstring is probably going to be longer than that and he's probably headed into reserve so What does that mean I mean? Had you know from a fantasy site look for paramount. Because Winston's going to have to you. Who else is left? That's a blow. Be still my heart God. What has been the Horse Dr John? That's gotten me in the fantasy. Football finals beat up on her. Dear friend Clay Travis this past past week and in a massive showdown GonNa help that somebody else on my rosters able to step up and fill that void pain savior jokes. Because I know you're gonNA take cheap shots I'm not at all I'm not at all actually gonNA transition to another wide receiver with Adam Phelan. There was talks that he wasn't going to return until he was one hundred percent. Healthy Limited. Snap count this past against the chargers. What do you think that was maybe score or Israel setback therefore Adam feeling well? I think it's a original part of the plan in preparation. Maybe the seven snaps were only because of because of the score but he was never gonNA play fifty Think about it this way first of all if you look Ah. The history of what happened with Phelan was supposed to be a minor hamstring. You played it. Two weeks aggravated missed. Many more weeks. Try to come back to fast in in Practice aggravated again. So they've been burned twice with aggravation. Do you think they were GonNa be burned a third time when next week. They have the Monday night game against against the packers which is for the division and then even the week seventeen game against the division rival bears. This were the LA chargers not that you look past with them. But I don't care who it was only made medical sense to bring him back a little more slowly this type give them a few game raps so that he can and be good to go for the packers. I think you'll see. EEOC normal reps against the packers next week but there was no way he's going to see normal routes this week and so even when Schefter after said he was going to play and be fine. I never thought he would. But you know we all know coachspeak right. It's just another example of coachspeak another guy that's critical to the Vikings offensive successes. Delvin Cook suffered another shoulder. Injury couldn't return against the chargers. Obviously you mentioned the importance of the Monday night. Game against the packers will Delvin Cook play and if so how effective can you be. Well here's a good news. Bad News Bad news is he got hurt again and you didn't finish the game the bad news. It's actually a new injury and that's also the good news it's a new injury if it were the SC join again the right Septa. You'd have to say. Even when he plays against the packers he's one hit one play from being out against. This seems to be something to his left shoulder by video. I can't tell you exactly what it is. There's which sometimes good news because if he dislocated I could tell you. I don't think that's the case. I can't tell you exactly what he has. But it's new to the left shoulder and I think there is okay. Good chance I would expect that he will play and be good to go against the packers And I think that's part of where they said Look L.. Let us live to fight another day Dalvin and rest the rest of the game here in terms of feeling like they have a game in hand out in Los Angeles makes percents with a capable fill in like Mike. Boone had two touchdowns he actually had the second highest sparks score among running backs in two thousand eighteen draft only behind saquon so hard running running in athletic last Vikings Guy One ask you about. That's crucial to the defense's cornerback. Xavier Rhodes went into the chargers game with an ankle. Injury already played through it left left with what appeared to be a calf injury. Does he have a shot to play against Green Bay it's GonNa be hard Calf injuries linger CT Way Hilton. And uh-huh this even though he was GonNa want to at the quarterback position. It's pretty hard to break in driving the ball. If you don't have your staff there then you add the lingering ankle. I mean when you talk about multiple injuries and one of them being calf especially the positioning place as optimistic as I am on Dow Cook able to go. I'm not pessimistic and league's exist your roads being able to go last one. I want to ask you about beforehand it back to todd. The timeline probably doesn't work if it's a high ankle sprain but The seasons on the Line Right Philadelphia Dallas does lane. Johnson have a chance to play this week. I think he does first of all learning clean. Johnson Yasser Heikal Spring He might get some pre-game quote acupuncture to play area. I mean it's it's that big give a game and the other thing is he. You know Yes he's a tackle so he's a little more in space and I can guard. But but certainly it's easier to for a Lineman Wiedeman an offensive lineman to play through high ankle than some other skill position. So I think he's GonNa try everything you can to go. The question is If he can royal factor if you will be I think you're GONNA try all hands on deck type game coming up Sunday for the division and I know a lot of our board listeners Dr Chow who have been writing this Eagles Eagles train with the division future since the beginning of the season. So we'll all sit with wait and wait with bated breath as they go into that one against maybe resurgent cowboys team is short home underdogs but but before we get there. We do have a Monday night. Football game and clearly. The biggest injury around this contest is with. Ty held a lot of optimism through colts camp but you look through some of the lingering signs for T. Y.. Hilton this calf injury. Do you expect him to be able to give it a go tonight. And if if even tries how effective do you believe. He can be out there as a viable deep throat against the Saints Defense. Well you know. There's there's there's two two thoughts here the he will play thought and he won't play thought if you go by what the head coach says and very fulmer to him. Even Situation Frank Reich is if he plays on Monday. We'll be at one hundred percent. I E not playing short of a hundred percent. Well if that is actually true. He's not playing period. There's no way that cafeteria one hundred percent is lingered this long another couple of days. He's been full practice all all week and other days isn't GonNa Change Anything. There's no way he's hundred hundred percent for tonight's game. So we're going to stick to what Frank Reich really sad. Ty He's already told US T Y Hilton's not playing but we all know coachspeak and we all know this is. The colts is kind of last chance. They kind of have to win to stay in it to have any chance to stay in it so That may push what t y Hilton does and you may try. Try and go always interesting to see these guys and who's able to gut it out. As it becomes a war of attrition at this point in the season especially with playoff berths hanging in the balance team saw hang on for dear life in their respective conferences. You can follow Dr David Show on twitter at pro football doc like we say every week the single best source for injury information not only for your sports gambling but for those fantasy football ball championships. Knowing Chris Godden won't be available for me to go out there and win a title sort of your that gets into. Thanks as always Dr
Inside Bill Gates' Brain with Davis Guggenheim
"Bills Brain three part documentary. Nfl I just watched it this week. Tell me how this project got started because you have you got a lot of access to gates and it's obviously Dan netflix unusual structure. You know three one hour episodes. Don't tell me how it came together so I was making the film waiting for Superman and we were almost it's done but it felt like he was missing. Voice and waiting for Superman was about public education's like how does this sort of failure of our public schools effect business and you know what better the thing to talk about. Someone who's in Silicon Valley or at least the business of Silicon Valley. He's obviously in Seattle but what does that do to growing the best business in in in America. How do you find talented educated. People had at his failure of our schools of some of our schools. I should say many are do really well but how does that effect are growing economy in in in the tech business. So I went up an interview bill. He was so great and so surprising that that I was like wait a minute this this person the needs to be reconsidered a because to give us the backstory. I was a I got a Macintosh nineteen eighty-four. It was the first person in my dorm Brown to get one. I think it was like ten had arrived at Brown in everyone of my floor huddled around this magical computer so I was a Mac. I was an apple guy and I always thought Steve Jobs is cool and Microsoft was just like for the business people and so I sort of held Bill Gates in my mind at arm's length that was like he just business guy. Maybe he's a monopolist. Maybe he's not but but you know I like. I like Mac and so what I finally met him. I was like wow. There's something he's doing right now. That needs to be understood. He is he's really changed his public image and I don't WanNa get into into that part of it because the weight inside bills brain is structured literally inside of every episode. It's almost like a thriller of the project that the bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is doing doing whether that's toilets or nuclear energy or vaccinations then there's like the history which is what most people kind of assume you're going to get right. We're GONNA GONNA tell the story Bill Gates from start to now but there's this like thriller component of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation happening inside of it. How did you decide to like like musicnet structure. Go started filming and I actually got lost. I don't know how to make this because a lot of the work. They're doing a super complex. In also initially dramatically. It's not just add water in the story tells itself right and so I was experimenting with this kind of way of cutting back and forth between his biography in the work that he's doing and the first time it worked was when I in its in episode two I think is when he's trying to figure out why cases of polio keep popping up all over Nigeria in Afghanistan Pakistan and why past efforts was it failed and how he used sort of his brain had he delvin to sort of like crack that because people been trying for years they thought they were getting close and then it doesn't work it. Would I thought I'd do is show bill in the early days in highschool cracking the class schedule. It's sort of a famous story where his private private school asbill a sophomore. I think ask him when he's a software and then he does it in his junior senior year but they say you're. You're good at this computer thing. You know there's a famous terminal school only one terminal any school in State of Washington say. Hey you're good at this coatings and can you code the class schedule at lakeside aside and so he and Paul Allen Staple night figure out how you know because his lakeside had merged with girls school so they had all these different classrooms different for campuses and Bill Paul us sort of their brains and they're sort of algorithms to cracks in the same way he cracks the algorithm or tries to crack the algorithm for a radical polio he did things like digital mapping in predictive analysis on where cases of polio would show up so the story telling the whole story retelling for all three episodes follows that one example where we cut back and forth between something some way in which his brain worked or or something revealed in his character actor is historical story with what he's doing now to reveal how his brain works and how you know how he solves problems so you obviously got all this access testable to Melinda. You got a bunch of archival footage. I guess you would call it of them. When they were young when they were dating there's Video Ville hugging kids when they're babies as which broke me like you don't ever see that side of him. How did you go about getting access to build. The product was kind of the condition that I make for any movie. When I flew complained to commit to page talk him into doing it might get loud. It was like if we're if we're GONNA do this. You got to open up to me. I won't ask any questions to ask. I will put everything on the table because that's you know that's what if you're going to do a movie forgot to go make make that effort you open yourself up and the same thing. I did with bill and I have to save all the people I've ever made a movie about. He was the most open in the least concerned about Oh. Don't go there. Don't get this right. I mean I went. I went right into you. You know the depositions for the case. You know there's pretty harsh stuff in there about how the world sees him and I put all if even if you go and watch the trailer of the trailer in the opening of the move of the series is is this guy a good guy bad guy you know one. One voice calls him the devil I really wanted to say I want to put it all table. Say who you know. Let's let's put everything on the table and let's let's consider this man. Today did bill get any edit control. Do they get to say they didn't want anything in there. Now what I do is for every movie all when I get a cut that I like I'll go show it to people so I showed to Jimmy page edge or anyone else or Bano or Malala just because I wanna make sure that I didn't miss something or it didn't miss categorize something and often in every case you sort of. They say oh well. You know what there's another another piece that story that entail you and usually gets better but nothing was. I didn't take anything out that I didn't WANNA put in so there's sequence your time in the antitrust apiece. There's a sequence where you ask him if he was arrogant in step position. This is great because you know. This is a heavy topic now. We actually talked about it on this podcast. All the time like like are these companies to powerful should get broken up. Microsoft was arguably the first the current president of Microsoft Brad Smith. He's just read a book about basically asking being the government to regulate tech companies. It's very interesting but it he bill gates was the first as you note in the documentary. He's he stepped back from the operations operations of Microsoft to handle trial he gave this famously bad deposition and you ask him if he's arrogant and he he was like well look when you're a twenty year old billionaire. Maher sometimes when when you were getting answer. Did you sense that he was that he was shading or was he just telling you what he thought. Who's absolutely shading you. You Watch it. What's what's fun about watching. The movie and we put the full answer in is that he didn't WanNa say he was hacked arrogant. The Fun thing about making a movie is one of my agree. Teachers taught me this about storytelling is that you know that the filmmakers job is to plus two. The audience's job is for that sounds like a really pretentious film film school way of saying it but the idea is I ask if he was arrogant. He gives an answer. It's up to you and the audience to say and decide whether he's arrogant or not so I like to put that in there and let the audience decide for himself or herself. Do you think that arrogance however he wants to think of it is an asset to him and his current work. That's a good question. That's a really good question. I'd have to let him answer that. I mean I think intense focus. I think being very certain I think maybe with a touch arrogance. Get to this place where you're cutting through a Lotta bullshit so that is an let me let me qualify this answer by this is my answer not his answer but I do think that affect of people in the world have to cut through bullshit they have to cut through group think in their own group in their own company they have to cut through how the bureaucratic nature of a big company slows things down so if arrogance Y- like five percent or twelve percent arrogance and certainty and bull headedness it is effective. I wouldn't mind that I think sometimes a director of documentaries has to be bull headed and arrogant sometimes but then you have to sort of you know put guardrails ells on yourself. You have to have a few on that so that you don't go too far and I think clearly see footage in there. From the early days of Microsoft will they'll clearly went too far. Your gifts and that's actually the one the one piece of documentary that I I don't know how interesting it would be to everybody. I kind of understand why it wouldn't be there but it's very interesting to me is Microsoft soft was a ruthless company with gates at the helm and you you wave at it a few times right by their competitors date they crush them obviously netscape and eh interest trials there but there was lots and lots of other stuff they did to ruthlessly destroy their competitors along the way and that was all bill. was there a moment where like. I need to focus on that that stuff more or say. I just need to say at once and move on. There's other stuff. That's more important you I mean the the the the focus of the series is really not about that. I put enough enough in there to acknowledge it and say this happened but it wasn't an expose of the tactics. Microsoft in this period of time and so did just like the movie doesn't get into who all the details of the entrust case it doesn't get into all the details of why bill thinks that they were maligned nor does it get into all the details of why people think Microsoft is wrong. That wasn't the focus of the series. The focus of the series is a character study of a guy in in what is he doing with his life.

"Our guest is Alexander Delvin. You know, Alexander's here pretty much every Friday. We talk about show business. We talk about television with them, our things. Alex everything good doing great. You have to find for me, Wendy, and everything then you have to laugh because you we excellently happened into a theme song for you now. So I love it there. Whenever I walk into stores everywhere. You deserve your theme song. Alex. Here's what I've noticed tell me if I'm right or wrong. It seems like there's game shows on constantly now. When did that happen? Last year. But more so this year, and it's been a little insane to see what's been having this summer in particular to your point. There's certainly going gonna forget a lot of them. But there's pressure of card sharks is back, there was, let's make a deal hundred thousand dollar pyramid so many others. And they're all launching at the same time. I think what's going on is you're seeing this weird transition period with summer television where it used to be a Nozoe just repeats. And that was a while everybody actually went outside, but as TV slowly transitions into going year round broadcast networks, kind of scrambling to come up with things that are going to fill the holes between those twenty two episodes of regular broadcast shows. And the thing to do is a game show. You know, I it's much lower budget. It's much easier to produce something like that. So throwing tons of them on the air right now, and people are hosting people are guesting on the show. But also hosting the show that you wouldn't think right. Right. A pretty big names involved. Yeah, it'd be getting. Banks is hosting crash up. Joe McNall is hosting card sharks. You're the Alec Baldwin host game show as well. I, I. Yeah, I mean, I think it comes down to kind of an easier pay day. You come in for a shorter workday. You're having everything said to you hosting certainly has its challenges as you guys know very well. But at the same time, it it's not the same thing as being on a set all day long all night shooting either dramatic or comedic show. It's so funny because on the old match game they would hint at dirty answers but it was like a subtle hint. But now Mets game. It's his blatant is blatant can be. They want you to give dirty answers. Two thousand nine hundred and that's what we're all about. I guess, I guess one of Wendy's saver television shows every one of my favorite television shows was on last night. I didn't get a chance to see it Wendy sought and loved it basket. Baskets debut, you are not. Yeah. The new season baskets on, you can probably stream it now f x plus and it's going to be running throughout the summer, our of your Kayla Cobb, who loves the show right up wonderful view that has up on decider. She loved it and she's loved the episodes that she's seen point. She brought up is that the show is already been always been about arrested development for Zach, galifianakis character. But this is the season that actually, let's make steps forward, small steps funny steps weird saps, but he's actually progressing as a human being and it's delightful to see it is so mazing because there, I just love Louis. Anderson is Christine baskets. I don't even see him as Louie Anderson anymore and the relationship that she has what their kids it's like they're so dysfunctional, but they truly love each other. It's just it's like a laugh, cry kind of thing. It's the greatest show. Yeah, it's very good. A swiftly not a lot of people watch FX shows. But if you do have. Access to fax. Or if you want to go back and watch the series highly recommend checking it out another trend. Alex is long as we're talking about shows is comedies like baskets that. Also have very dark sides to them. They can be very serious, and very sad when they want to be, but also very funny. You've seen this show with his name is Gad. He's a French comedian. He's, he's Francis, Jerry Seinfeld. When did we had a couple of years ago? He's got a show. That's really, really funny at times, but very poignant and sad at other times. Yeah. This is. Yes. Huge in France on Netflix. Yeah. You know, for better for us, it was started by Louis CK show, Louis Audifax, which really mixed comedy with some episodes, which is completely serious. And that was a huge hit that gave more comedians more of a chance to really Vicks, those sort of things together. Because when it comes to awards time comedies. Don't get any respect. They it's you're laughing at it. So it seems like an easy thing comedians. No, it's not easy to put comedy or craft a really good joke. But if you're going for Emmys or something like that, you have to have something traumatic. And there's so many money air. Not just FX Dow Netflix. As you mentioned with shows like huge France HBO has shows, like Barry, that mix drama and comedy at the same time. And it's other than the episode like half an hour, or sometimes it's hard to categorize them as comedies of. All right. Right. Fred armistead has a new project on HBO. That's premiering this week. What is the, the project shares? This is Los spooky is at it premieres tonight, on HBO at eleven pm at the neat cut groundbreaking saying about the show is that it's mostly Spanish language show. There is some English in it, but most of it is through subtitles usually HBO take shows like that. And puts them on their HBO Latin block. But mostly everybody is Spanish, speakers bread. Arvidsson guests on the show. And it's about a couple of people who use their love of horror to turn it into a very weird business in a alternate version of present day. Mexico City, everybody on my staff, who has seen it has absolutely loved the show. They think it's super weird. If you like Fred Harveson, you kind of know what you're gonna get to. I think, but it's very unique and very creative also visually creative at the same time, great title, Los spooky. I gotta watch funny. Anything he touches good a lot. He's so good. All right. So that starts tonight. Another superhero entree on Netflix. This is the marvel. Series. Jessica jones. Yeah, this is actually the last marvel series that's going to be on Netflix. So these for the time being initially launched his whole slate that included daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke cage iron fist leading up to its defenders team up. It was supposed to be their vendors. Now, it's kind of fizzled out all of the shows have been canceled. They're all still going to be on the service. So if you ever want to check them out, that's fine. But as of today, the final third and final season of Marvel's, Jessica Jones launched, and that's going to be the last marvel show for the time being unfortunately, I've watched the first couple of episodes. It's a bit of a Slavic Christian Ritter, who plays the main character is very good in it carry on moss, who plays a lawyer friend slash enemy of hers is also really excellent as the rest of the cast if you're a fan of the show, certainly you're gonna want to check it out. But a lot of the flaws that were in the worst seasons of the marble mess lake shows, which is too long episodes. Very slow pacing making fun of superhero Troy. They're all kind of there, and it's not bad, but it's definitely a fizzle out for the franchise at say he's the shine off the diamond on superhero shows, we've had such a glut of them in the last five years or so. Are we starting to say, oh, we've seen it all before or not? I think it's changed if anything, we're starting to see a second generation of superhero shows that are doing really well, things like umbrella academy, which is dark horse property, dark horse, comics, marvel, comics property did really, well on Netflix. Doom patrol on DC universe point. If the flaws in superhero fiction and almost workers anti-sukarno hero section, but other things that are working quite well. But then if you turn to superhero shares if you look at it network like the CW shows like the flash, and how are still absolutely their top shows and millions of people watch them every week. So. Some shows are falling down the marvel Netflix show, certainly did not work, but marvel is going to be launching new shoes on Hulu in the coming year, Disney plus has tons of shows coming up to tie very specifically. It's the marvel movies. So they're not going away anytime soon. I'm not a huge superhero movie lover or show lover. But and that's why I didn't originally watch the umbrella academy because I don't want. It's that's completely different in that I absolutely loved. I think we're going to see a lot more like that. There's a date, Mark Millar, who has launched a deal with Netflix. And he has his own not superhero universe, but group of superhero books. He's the creator of this out air, but kick a s s the movie series they came out of go. Well, thanks for calling. No. You're fine. Yes. Don't say, no ans- valid. I don't know. You can kick ass all the kids, spelling bee. No, you just sore. Sorry. Worth. But my point being that you're going to see a lot more superhero shows like that coming on that. And it looks better. Deconstructing superhero shows that makes sense. All right. Let's do this. We'll take a quick break. We'll talk with our bosses about what L exander apologize. Back with more stick around. It's filling Wendy on WGN.

The new communication rules
"Talking tech is brought to you in part by northwestern. University offered in partnership with north Western's Feinberg school of medicine. The program prepares students for emerging opportunities across the healthcare spectrum. Details are at SPS dot northwestern dot EDU slash informatics face it. You're not going to call somebody before texting. I and asking if it's okay that's one of the new rules of communications in twenty nineteen Delvin Brown from USA day. Just wrote a big piece on the new rules, and we've got him here on talking tech dalvin tell everybody what's up. I guess one of the most common rules is one of the things. I think we can all agree about is that you don't send anyone a one word text in. Nobody likes to to send out a long detailed text message. And then, you know, go to check your check the reply and it just as Kay in all so. I think that's one of the that was one of the big ones that have people had talked about. But but also, you know, I think to there's a lot of people who are saying don't double text me don't send to texts in a row kind of thing. Give me a chance to to to respond. So that was a really common one. Do you have any that you can think of anything that you personally in your personal life any new rules that you live by of when it comes to communicating via won't be the new ruling, you don't call someone before either texting or emailing and saying mad call you. Yeah. I mean, it's up things like that. You know, you would think are Britney common sense. But in one of the interesting things about about the whole thing, as you know, we get frustrated when people don't know. And that's because no one's really teaching instinct, interestingly enough, one of the people I spoke with said that they feel like Snapchat and Instagram. EM's as the future and that calling and texting even is on the way out, but I'm gonna text gonna ride that texting wave as long as. That's fine accepted to many people show up on my phone without their name associated with the phone number. I don't know who they are. Yeah. Do you mean where they text you send you a text message? But you don't have the number saved. Will you didn't you didn't bother to associate the phone number with their names? So just this phone number shows up in ask you a question, and you don't know who you're talking to. And then the other thing is we don't answer the phone because they're it's all rubber calls yet. Well that too. Yeah. There's a lot of those coming through, you know, one of the things that I found really interesting to was one person it said, you know, that when they receive phone calls, they declined the call to send a text to the to the person that was calling them. So it's almost as if you know, some people don't even need the calling feature anymore. If they're in know, refusing the Hewson to pick up will the new rules. We'll see about Delvin cook who is back from his early season injury yet to really like take off though. I'm tempted to go opposite on that. But I just don't know I want to respect all that's been written and said about Brady deteriorating. Like, so I can't just need your too. I'm actually going to take the patriots against you on that. But I'm a little Sierra him. Yeah. I mean, he looks like he's showing his age some and I like Zimmer in that game. I mean, I I like the idea Mike Zimmer against against Brady. They don't meet very often. I'm just I'm curious when New England plays a good NFC team. That's always a curiosity to me. That's always an interesting game to see Green Bay was close to winning in New England. There was a late fumble. Minnesota's a better team than Green Bay. And then. I'll take Miami. Minus three and a half against the Bill that line has been really bad down from six to three and a half now. But there are times with these picks of means so little Miami team that from the beginning of the season. I think they're better than most people are saying, I'm not sure that that's really true. But. I got to get him to at least seven wins here for a better have with Sal. I have also have the Bill a bills bet on under so dolphins minus three and a half. And we just got news that Ben Gosling of the Minnesota Star Tribune has reported that the Minnesota Vikings plan to play Delvin cook on Sunday. So. I'm just gonna flip this table over and destroy the studio proud of frustration. Do you have any more systems for running backs latavius? No, I I still say certain abuse. I think you all can agree with that. So hopefully we'll see those New Jersey soon that match their helmets, but I still love those classic yellow and blue. They just looked so good. They're probably my favorite Jersey's law time. They're up there at least with my favorite of all time. I can't think of any of that. That looks that good. Honestly, I'm also fan of Henry buccaneers up cream cicle jerseys. I know it's like ugly color, no doubt about it, but I think it's good. It's an established trip, but anyways, out off, talk going off topic. Looking at this game, do you? I'm gonna as the question to myself because no one can answer. Do you see Minnesota bouncing back from this defensively? And I say, yes, if I'm gonna go look who they're playing next week next week, Minnesota is playing the eagles. So we're NFC championship rematch and I'm not Al que I won't say they're bouncing back right now because next week they have a huge obstacle in the eagles. They got destroyed the NFC championship game the last year. And then the Vikings have a, they have a bye week in week. Six. So there's nothing really these. These next couple of might be rough for them. So if they bounce right ski NC's type of thing, but I was so hall on a Kirk cousins. I would still hold onto Delvin cook. I would definitely hold on digs in the'll in for convert off by deputy hold onto him to their offense. I would just hold onto view, have anyone on their offense. I would state hang onto them if you have their defense, I would say be open to benching them and putting in your other defense. I don't know who your other would be, but I would definitely look at the Minnesota defense as a team. I would put on the bench as defense. I would not start in these coming weeks is actually with her by week be playing on the by week. You just didn't look. So that's just on you. I mean, I know that's a lot of you will do that. I mean, that's kind of a stereotype and fantasy football. There's that one guy in every. Somebody's fantasy league that is does not check his starters and has bunch of empty spots. And then somehow the guy's still wins because that's just how life works fantasy football because sometimes you can do all the research you want. You can do everything right. And then it's the lady or the do that doesn't want football that just randomly picks players just because they know their names, they like their name or they like the team they're on, and then they, they win the and then they wouldn't leak. It's then you're thrown out the your staff book and go on to, I get, and then you have a stroke and then you need to go the hospital. But that's another time for now. I don't think we need to get into all that, but it did not happen to me, but almost it not stroke wise, but just like out of frustration. I'm I've had that happen many times. We're so just does not know the rules of fantasy football or football for that matter and they win the championship. It's it's not fair man. But I was definitely say, if you have the stats, he should listen podcast and you should list. The things I recommend in they should work. Hopefully they will are. They don't just make it up for next week, but re take a little short break. Now we talked about the Rams Vikings enough. We're gonna talk about the rookie quarterback's these next for this this week and say who to start, who do not who's gonna who's gonna have a good day, who's gonna have a rough day and we'll get on right on that. When we get back to you, the average sedan has built with a steel frame and equipped with six airbags. "Terrible. Who's poor, nor. We're a little bit of news or noise it was Tuesday's kind of a quiet day normally during the NFL players off, but there is some news, Thursday night, perhaps one of the most -ticipant at games of the regular season, and he Rams or Vikings fans in your. We're in New York Actually actually. the or the next. Three, we got three, not bad, actually not bad, but Rams Vikings on Thursday nights and Delvin cook said their head coach, Mike Zimmer. There's a chance that delving could play on Thursday. He said it is genuinely day-to-day. I'm not sure what it means, what it's not generally j day-to-day, but Delvin cook news or noise that his hamstring is genuinely day-to-day genuinely. Do you guys ever believed players when they say they're gonna play. If you may recall, dalvin cook said last week that he was gonna play, and then that didn't happen. So. In all seriousness Vikings probably took a conservative coach knowing they had a Thursday night game. So there was a better chance that he'd be available this week, but I don't think they're gonna make the call until game time. If I have dove and cook my restroom, certainly planning. If you have the TVs Murray, you're gonna keep him handy or have somebody else you can use later in the week. Remember when Davies Murray and the Vikings showed up on Sunday against the bills. Now don't, but but it's the Rams. So that was my question. If if they decide to play this game on Thursday night, which I think is scheduled for five, twenty eastern Pacific. What do you call it out? West, I know standard time civic standard time. You're born and raised in the northeast. But anyway, they do show came on Thursday night if they do play this game on Thursday night. What are your spectators for the Mary Matthew because he he laid Nate this past Sunday? Yeah, he did as the entire Vikings. I think they'll show up. I think part of the problem that happened on Thursday last week was they were looking ahead to this game and they didn't really take the bills very seriously. Needed it on your like a lot of people that I mean, you know, so credited the bills, but I think certainly there wide awake now, I think it depends on dalvin cook in terms of what are my patients positives are, obviously it's a Thursday night game. So you'll know before you have to make any other Ossetians I think Dalvand cook is active. The VCR playing him. Right. And if not, Mike speculation is that it'll be a better game from latavius Mary. I think they will be more competitive Rams defense. Obviously, they're not gonna have Marcus Peters. They're not gonna keep delete. So I think it'll be a better game. They still have that amazing front seven, but it's going to be an easier game for Kirk cousins here. Mike speculation as they will move the ball, the Rams well. And so I think latavius Murray, I haven't done my rankings yet, but my guess is if I knew Alvin cook were playing, the tastes Mary would probably come in somewhere between twenty and twenty five from me and format. We'll said there'd be Harvard grads in the audience tonight. We got one over there. Keeping in mind at this thing does not work out, please. Dan, Patrick most successful Harvard grad of all time. In my opinion, Matthew, he may not be the starting quarterback for Tampa Bay anymore. Jameis Winston is eligible to return week for for the bucks against the bears news or noise that fits that Jamie's could become starter Sousa Sunday. I think that I think it's news that he is now office suspension, especially given how prolific that buccaneers offense has been James Winston, I believe will be fantasy force at some point this season. I don't think it's going to be Sunday. My expectation is and look, this is entirely speculative. I have no inside knowledge on this is that they go with Ryan Fitzpatrick for one more week. I don't know that Ryan Fitzpatrick and we talked about this someone on the show this morning show. Yeah, it was. It was a great show. Got up. We were able to talk. It was great. We were laxed field as an underwear. It was. It was a great time. And so what happened against the Steelers for the people haven't had the chance to listen to that podcast is tomorrow frankly, who don't listen because you download only right, right, sure..

"Done it. Again. Ryan Fitzpatrick is four touchdown pass to the game. He did it last week. He threw four twenty seven to seven Tampa Bay over Philadelphia in the third quarter. Tennessee is leading Houston fourteen to seven Pittsburgh down twenty eight twenty one to Kansas City and Patrick Mahomes. Larry, thank you. Ted Viking started their own twenty nine. And out of the shotgun handing it off is Kirk cousins, that's Delvin close going left to right and cook chased out of bounds at the thirty four. So it's a gain of five. About Ryan Fitzpatrick blocks, and what did you do with James Winston? You said do not let him back into building. Cut your losses. They'll kick because he's you know, he's he's at that point without I gotta make a decision. Yeah. Dollars. Going to be interesting. That's for sure though, second down at five from the thirty four for the Vikings going right to our left trips to the left shotgun snap throw to the right side. And it was low but making the catch was Adam feeling. And he's about a yard short of the first now at the thirty eight. Let's gonna bring up third down in one that gotta get. I this is a this is a big down minister office. Gotta keep these drive in this ball up with their defense back out there again that was quickly. Vikings three of nine on third down conversion attempts again third-best in the league a year ago. Dowden cook one of two backs behind cousins. Center figures to get the ball gets the snap. They give it to the fullback. And he's got the first down and more across the forty that is CJ hams. Let seven carries a look at this first one this year and somebody's down from Minnesota. Where? Offense of lying shot hill. The right tackle. And we're gonna.
