"Same doctor. Yeah, it is the same doctor. Hi, everybody. Crazy stuff. Oh, really? Who knows? Maybe. Really? Down the road. Authorities in Florida say a woman has been pulled out of a storm drain for the third time in two years. That's what you get for living next to Pennywise. Yep. You'll float too. Bless you, Christy. She's going to sneeze again. And thank God I have a sneeze fetish. I always sneeze in pairs. Delray Beach police said officers responded to a call of someone, possibly in distress. I'd like to sneeze on your pair. Swimming in a canal. When officers asked the woman if she needed help, police said she ignored them crawled into a storm drain pipe and refused to come out. I'm better off here. WFLA. Reports firefighters responded to the scene and were able to contain the woman between two sections of pipe, Delray Beach fire rescue special operations team members. Then used a ladder and a rescue harness to get her out. All right, team members. She was hospitalized with minor injuries, the woman a miss Lindsey Kennedy has been rescued from a storm drain in March in May of 2021 as well. Stop it, ma'am. Is this the only pipe she's hitting? Just ask me. Do you think she's on the pipe? I don't know. Something's going on. Hey, Lindsey is stuck in the storm drain again. Get the stick. What the hell? It's just poker until she goes down the drain. Yeah, yeah. Why not? She's not doing it. Someone's good watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles while

"IRS was seizing pre conviction a bunch of assets for Jack Fisher, including the horse, which he had bought for Christina as a gift in early 2017. They'd also see an airplane, a Mercedes, a 45 foot recreational vehicle and lack. Leans on real estate, they could seize a piece convicted, but for Christina Fisher, this was a terrible event because she was a couple hundred miles away in Atlanta and lex is a champion show jumping horse. They had jumped together in about ten events a year for several years. It also had a couple of bad accidents in which he'd fallen and hurt his neck and his back. So he was on a special metabolic diet and she was very concerned that he would not be handled properly by the IRS agents. She was on the phone talking to IRS agents and they would not stop until she got there. They went ahead and took the horse to a trainer in southern North Carolina for evaluation. And then they took him by police escort down to Delray Beach, Florida. And she also believed strongly that she had nothing to do with the fraud that her father is accused of. Just to clarify, this was a gift to her years ago, they're not accusing her of doing anything, certainly not accusing the horse of doing anything, but there's still taking this horse. Right. "I mean, also Panko is in an awful section of the draw. I mean, it's just, again, I think she probably feel like she's playing in Dubai last week with all the grand slab champions around her. She got muguruza, critique of we've also got Aniston over in there as a ranker, very, very, very loaded that. Madison Bengal. Madison. Thanked American. Yeah. No, she'll probably go and do something now. We've mentioned her. But yeah, we've also got the WTA two 50 out in Guadalajara, which is where Emma raducanu has decided to play. She is the top seed there. Do you think this is a good move? You know, going to a less salubrious tournament and kind of maybe giving yourself a better chance of going further and I think yeah, I think this was a smart move in terms of, yeah, less away from the spotlight, yeah, it's a WTA two 50 going on at the same time. Top seed, yes, there's always inevitably going to be some sort of pressure and expectation, but I mean, given the draw and I think the fact that a lot of players have chosen to go to go to Doha, I think it should give her a chance to go deep and just get more matches and more experiences under a belt. I mean, she plays Daria saville, direct gavrilova, probably to a lot of our listeners in the first round, and then she could, yeah, I mean, she's in a very nice, I feel part of the draw. She could play stone Stevens who, you know, she obviously beat in the first round at the Australian open in the quarterfinals. Interestingly, Kim, Sloane Stephens has a 14 year old qualifier in the first round. I'm going to let you pronounce her name because I know I'll just be terrible at it. Brenda for vertebra, I think I remember seeing her name, I think, in Wimbledon juniors a while back, but yeah, she's very young. Got Sloane Stephens. So we'll see if she can make a run at that at all. Also got Camilla. She's half Sloan Stevens age. Well, I mean, yeah, that's kind of mad because you don't think of Sloane Stephens as being old. He's 28. I see Camilla, a sorio Serrano, has shortened her name. It's not Maria Camilla, whatever. It's Camilla, sorry. Is it the same woman? Yes, it is. I mean, Madison keys is the second seed. She said cerebus tormo, yeah. So there's quite a few difficult players in action. So Emma will have to hopefully the blisters are assigning the past and she can get back out there and yeah, just be good to have a back on tour and I think yeah, it's nicer maybe to work your way in at a smaller tournament prior to Indian Wells and all of that. I mean, also in Mexico, we've got the men's Acapulco event, which I think is the one where the winner always gets a nice little sombrero to wear in the trophy ceremony. Rafa is there, but he's not the topsy. That is Medvedev, of course, and also zverev is the second seed. And since pass is also there as the third seed, nori, nor is there Marini, this drawer is very full of top players, shall we say. So yeah, difficult one to pick. I hope Rafa has a good week. Be interesting if he plays Medvedev again, won't it, but yeah, I mean, that could happen in the semis. Yeah, but it's quite an interesting draw for Rafa. It could have been a lot more difficult if Riley had pilcher I felt had chosen to go and not drop out because that would have been his first round, but I mean, we've cuddler and then he could play Dimitrov or Crecy yeah, I mean, I feel like the bertini that is the seed you would want, I think, in your quarter because that's a very good match up I think from Dao, but yeah, certainly all eyes on whether it will get an Australian open final repeat in that semifinal. Two wildcards Feliciano Lopez and Fernando Verdasco are also there, brilliant. And Mexican home hope Alex Hernandez Kim. Yeah. I don't know who he is. I noticed that Chinese guy in the one of the golden swing events last week that we talked about who had a wild card. I think he'd taken someone's place. I looked him up and he was like 14, 15, like he's very, very young. So probably his first. Alexander zverev, first round. That's not an easy match, I feel sorry. If I could, I could potentially see an upset there. Yeah, and nori's got alcaraz, not Rublev. I think we were saying Rublev before apologies. Apologies this time. It's so much fun. So much. There's so many men's tournaments. It's confusing. So we've also, in addition to Acapulco, we've got the chili open. Sorry, the chili dove men plus care open. Which Christian garin is headlining as the home favorite. He's also the defending champion, Albert Ramos vinolas, is the second seed. I guess other notable players here hold a rune, spastic buyers, Francesco, cerundolo, very notable player there, can't see his brother on the draw. Oh no, his brother is there brilliant, they may play each other in the third round. There we go. They can battle it out for us. So we've got that going on and also Dubai where Novak Djokovic is the top seed. He's already through against massetti and Rublev is the second one. Rublev's playing Dan Evans, that's why he got confused because it's a brief apologies listeners. Yes. Yeah, I mean, again, Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray's on a wild card. He struggled through today against qualifier Christopher O'Connell could play Yannick sinner in the second round or it could be davidovich for kina. As I said, founders and shop had to pull out of his match against Lloyd Harris because of testing positive for COVID. FAA and chape valor of are in the same quarter, so all eyes there and whether they could meet in an all Canadian quarterfinal, but shaft valve has future vich in the first round, which I filled out is quite tricky. And yeah, FAA has got passage really, bash just really get into the final in. Doha against Bautista goose. So not foregone conclusions and also big yeah, big trip from Europe to the Middle East as well. So yeah, there's a lot of tennis going on. We'll have to see, I have to see how it goes, Kim, but yeah, a lot of it feels like all the big players are back and playing at the same time for the first time in a long time. Both rapha and Novak on the tour at the same time at not a slam or a master's event. Just not at the same place. They couldn't bear to be together. No, I think Rafa normally plays Acapulco. He's won it before. So hopefully he can do that again. But yeah, looking forward to all this week's tennis, got some good tournaments and matches lined up. Fernando Verdasco's top of my list to watch tomorrow, obviously. As well as Rafa when they're both, I think the schedule was due to be released. So a full Acapulco. "That's a call that he has made. The sword that he wants to stand on. Fair enough, you know, you do you. Yeah, you do you. I mean, my favorite bit of the interview went was when he said that his son, Stefan, was basically a rapper fan, had been supporting Raphael in Australia in April. That was the big reveal to be quite honest wasn't it. Yeah, I thought that was a nice touch. At the end of the interview. But just talking about COVID vaccinations, Alex de menores had a bit of a trouble week surrounding his vaccination status because essentially there was a hospital in Madrid, which is under investigation for providing false COVID certificates to some of its patients, turns out Alex de manor had his second vaccination at that hospital. So obviously, people put two and two together. Thought, oh, he must have got a fake COVID vaccine, but he's come out and said, that's completely not the case. I've had both my vaccines. So she'll media post came out so quickly after the after that news break. And I think understandably so, yeah, just getting caught up, I think, in the wrong situation, because from what, for what I understand him, Novak Djokovic is the only player in the top hundred who isn't who isn't vaccinated. But same time, I don't know if there's this paranoia about it has anyone faked their status in order to play events on the tour. I feel like that would be a big scandal if that was that was true and I know that there are still some suggestions around that with Novak Djokovic that we haven't really fully got the answers to, but we can never I don't think we can say that with any with any sort of fact at the moment. But yeah, just sort of feel like there's sort of a little bit of paranoia, isn't there around tennis players and COVID passports and vaccination statuses, et cetera? Yeah, it's not going to go away anytime soon. I don't think, especially after the whole Djokovic incident. So let's hope that there's no further troubles, I suppose. I mean, yeah, like you said, Djokovic is the only player in the top hundred who hasn't had it, but well, let's see if there's any more stories that emerge, but hopefully Alex demon will put that behind him. Let's have a look, Joel at what's going on this week because, well, the tennis is already underway, just seeing cultivate as one as well as we're recording this out in Doha. That's where the women are this week. Well, a lot of the women, top women, it's the 1000 event out in Doha. Balti is not there. So arena sabalenka is the top seed. And critique of is the second seed. What do you make of this? Who are we looking at for this one? I can see we've already had an upset today with Simona Halep losing to Caroline Garcia. A bit of an unexpected one there. I have to say, but I don't know what was going on with palette, but maybe Garcia was just good, good for once. I don't know if that loss, that loss to oster penco, the manner of that third set, which was a bagel, and that tiebreak, which was a bagel against Oz pecos as stayed with highlight because yeah, you would certainly think Caroline Garcia has been in dreadful form the last few months. I don't know if she's just magically rediscovered her form from what 2017. I mean, she must have done, but yeah, not the great not a great result for Simone Halep. Who, as I said, I thought has been playing pretty good tennis apart from that at least cournet result in Melbourne. So yeah, that was a bit of a surprise. Kim also yesterday I was watching a bit of Azarenka versus Putin and it got very, very heated towards the end, the handshake was very, very ugly, Putin's for calling for a medical timeout with Azarenka serving to stay in the match. She was not particularly happy about. I think she called, she called she was caught on camera calling putins for a, she needs a psychiatrist. You need psychiatric help. Which was quite interesting. So we've already had some we've already had some drama, but yeah, in terms of the draw, yeah, I'm looking potentially at someone like Kant of it is probably the form player at the moment on the WTA Tour. So I'm looking at her in terms of can she can she keep it up and go all the way to the final. I think she's in the nicer half spital and mertens Switzerland has already out on shapour as well as coming back from injury. She got to the quarters last week. So I think she's in quite a nice section of the draw. So I think quantitate could go and kind of continue potentially her run from running the indoor hard courts to the outdoor hard courts. Yeah, or as oster penko is already won her first match. So could she do two on the trot? One player I'm not going to go for is badosa because she completely messed up my prediction last week. I was surprised by that. I was surprised by that. Yeah, no, it was not a great week for her. Ribena and Kerber have also already lost and kvitova is the defending champion here. So perhaps she can recreate that magic from last season..

"It was nice for him, I think, to get to get the win. I know that they have a friendly rivalry him and FAA. I think FAA beat Rublev in the semis in Rotterdam a few weeks ago. So for him, again, to get revenge was very, very good and yeah, I think we'll have to wait and see, but yeah, I think both Rublev and nori back on the back on the back on the women winners path. Yeah, I mean, Rublev will be hoping to get back on the 500 events winners path because that was his domain, wasn't it? And it's been a while since he's actually won a title. So maybe this will spark off his old ways as well. But yes, it's had a bit of a dodgy loss to Roman food in. But I mean, civilian was very good, wasn't he at the ATP cup. So he's one of those sort of players that kind of coming out a bit onto the tour and making more of a bit more of a name for himself. So not a great, great week for sits past fans. But yeah, good for solid week from FAA. I would imagine Rublev's going to win that one over nori, but I mean, I think nori would be the fresher of the two, but would have had further to travel to Dubai. I don't know. I think it could be quite a tight one, but I would give rib the edge. And we had also the Qatar open in Doha of the men, ATP, two 50 event, Roberto Bautista, winning the final against bas slash villi 6 three 6 four. I mean, Kim, I feel the story of this tournament was just Roberto Batista gu on a warpath through all that faced him, including I hate to say Andy Murray in his first match in the second round. Obliterated him 6 love 6 one, then obliterated David davidovich for kina 6 one 6 one. Catching of yet defeated him in three, catching up probably gave him the biggest test of the week, but again, the final was just back to Roberto bustier to a group being Roberto Bautista, and winning 6 three 6 four. So yeah, it was, again, a very dominant performance throughout the week. Aside from that caption of semifinal. Yeah, this was a repeat of the final, I think, from last year, but it was just reverse result because I think that's the last Billy won this last year. But Bautista has won this particular title in 2019. So it's got two titles from Joe Hart. His tenth title overall, I think it was. So, you know, he's one of those players that is there or thereabouts. And this is sort of his sort of tournament, isn't it, where he can just kind of come through and yeah, like you said, obliterating Andy Murray. I mean, a bit you were pleased, though, as of Mario fan that he'd got his revenge over tarot Daniel in the first round at the very least. Yeah, yeah, it was a good that was a good victory. I liked how easy it was as well. It looked very, very comfortable. Still feel like he sort of is like today against Christopher O'Connell sort of these opponents where I feel like he should be winning in an hour getting off the court focusing on the next match. He's actually sort of struggling to get over the line while it might go three might end in a final set tiebreak like or he's spending lots of extra minutes on court like today against O'Connell. So it was nice to see him pick up a straightforward victory against Harry Daniel, but yeah, that lost to RBA would have been pretty demoralizing I imagine there are not many times you can say Andy Murray loses 6 love 6 one. I always remember Kim that match he had against Roger Federer at the when it was called the world tour finals, I believe. Many, many years ago when I think he was in the semifinals, he just got absolutely absolutely smoked, but yeah, it was not, it was not great to see, but RBA was just, you know, he was just, he was just on a warp after he was just playing such good tennis and I think in the context of the week looking back on his other results, it just, I think it just shows you the level he was playing at and for Andy, I think it'll be a disappointment that well, first of all, he couldn't make that match competitive, but it probably also showed him just how far he still needs to go in order to be competitive at the very, very top ends of the ATP rankings. Yeah, definitely. And just another note on British players, I suppose, Dan Evans had a disappointing week. He lost to Alejandro de vivid for kina in three sets. So he would have liked to have gone a bit further. To say the least, but you know a mallet yasiri lost as well in the first round, which is obviously equally bad. Bad results for Joel Ramsey. I've lost to Arthur Riddick, so yeah, another name that has been, I guess, on the tongue of many tennis fans, perhaps I've noticed he's had a few results here and there hasn't he ridden at his head quite a good start to the year. And David Goffin also just not in a good way at the moment. He lost, I think he lost as well today, lost to rusev, in round one in Doha. So yeah, he's obviously a deep slump at the moment. And Bosch van der zan chop Kim's just tested positive for COVID, so he's out of, I think he's out of out of Dubai out of Dubai as well. So not great for a lot of those players. No. He's come out and in sympathy with myself and the queen, we has COVID. All the best people are catching it right now. We're keeping royal company. Me and Queen Elizabeth. Right, let's take a quick break now. But do join us in the second half where we'll be having a look at Novak Djokovic, breaking silence in his BBC interview. Alex demeanor is vaccination situation as well as previewing all of this week's action, including rapha's return and also Emma raduga back in action. So do not go anywhere. "This tournament was hindered a little bit by rain, Schwartzman had to pay two you had to pay his quarterfinal and semifinal in one day. I think he spent over 5 and a half hours on court. And I think our craze as well similarly had to spend quite a bit of time on court. So I think that was a factor going into the final. And fish Schwartzman, I think he actually said, you know, his match gets ander was three sets, 6 four in the third. He said if he wasn't given enough time to prepare for cerundolo in the 70s, he was just going to concede a walkover, but he was able to kind of get out there and get the win, but I certainly think the amount of mileage he had to put in in one day to get to the final perhaps, perhaps, perhaps went against him in that final. And again, I think it just shows that that fitness that we've spoken about, I think, that he's certainly worked on over the off season. We can see it in the sleeveless topic that the biceps in the muscle department, but I certainly think that's probably helped him in this tournament when he had to deal with rain delays, playing more matches than necessarily in one day. So yeah, for him to come through just very, very impressive. Kim all I would say is, why isn't he playing more tennis? I feel like, you know, I'm a young guy. I played two tournaments. I think two events this season shouldn't be fatigued already, should he? Well, two matches in one day though, I. You know, that can take a lot out of you maybe like mentally as well. And maybe he's just being extra cautious and why burn yourself out too early in the season as well. He has his whole career ahead of him. So I guess he's thinking about it in that respect as well. So but yeah, nice that the other cerron dolo did quite well. I shouldn't call him that. I know he has a first name. Francisco. Francisco, yes. Sorry, it's not one Ignacio. No, one Manuel. Oh gosh. All the Argentinians, yeah. Yeah, I was sort of, I don't know if I just assumed Juan Manuel cerundolo is the better one, maybe I'm completely wrong. Listeners if you're serendip fans, who is the who would you say is the bed of brother? I think it's Juan Manuel. So to see his brother get to the semifinals, I would definitely be, I definitely be on WhatsApp to him just to let him know that I can still do the business. I've been pretty pretty impressive from him to be fair. I think he made the most of being in that part of the draw because I think I can't remember who it was who was the second seed, but they dropped out in a lucky loser, came in. So it was a nice open part of the draw, but yeah, he certainly made the most of it. I'm just waiting for the Hollywood film on the third day like brothers now. But yes, we should, yeah, I will follow Juan Manuel can do next week, maybe this week, give it in response. But that's going away from the golden swing. We have some other events, obviously, from the men's tour to catch up on. We had Delray Beach in Florida, which is an outdoor hard court event, two 50. Good news for British fans, cam nori, won it. Which was great because, you know, you had a bit of a shaky start to the season, but I think this was really the starting point of his season proper he's ticked off winning another title. It's now his third ATP title and there's only one way to do it, isn't there in the final against Friday of hellcat. And that is with tiebreaks. I know it was while surprise surprise big shot. I mean, Riley's story of his tournament was just how many how many tie breaks am I going to play him? And I believe him, we actually had a little bet with ourselves last episode, and I said 6 tiebreaks, it wasn't bang on 6, and then he had 18 total, but I certainly was the closest. So little victory, a little victory for me, but yeah, I think that for cam nori, that was a very, very impressive and I think quite awkward win against a poker. It's very hard, I think, to win two tiebreaks in a row against him. You always sort of feel that if you're going to pay two tiebreaks you're probably going to split them and maybe it will go to a third, but yeah, it was very, very impressive. He did have breakpoint opportunities, so maybe he will feel a little bit kind of disappointed it was a little bit more routine that it was. I felt like you always kind of leave it up to the tiebreak gods if it gets to 6 all in the set. But yeah, very, very, very good from him. I mean, it was great, I think, to see him, yeah, reignite reignite, his season, because as I said, it just started so flat. And I don't know what's happened, but yeah, it's been much, much better. I think certainly that win in the quarterfinals against Seb quarter, remember in the Australian open, he was just nowhere against Seb quarter in his first round match in Melbourne, but here he came through in a nice three set victory in a final set tiebreak. So for me, that was a big kind of turning point. Tommy Paul in the semifinals as well, quite routine. So yeah, really, really impressive stuff from camp to come back, top seed as well. There's always going to be that added added pressure and coming through all these Americans in their home country game will do him a world of confidence, particularly with Indian Wells coming up where he's defending champion. Yeah, I was going to say he's timing it quite nicely for Indian Wells getting a bit of confidence and some match wins under his belt. The funny thing I wanted to talk about from this tournament though Joel was the car on the court, really random and probably quite dangerous. I don't know if any of our listeners saw much of Delray Beach, but essentially there was a big what was it a BMW plant on the court? Some sort of car, yeah, some sort of maybe not BMW. I'm going to see some American cars. A Chevrolet, but yeah, I noticed Stefan kozlov actually hit the car Kim. I don't know if that's going to come out of his prize money or he's going to get notification from the ATP saying you're going to be fined for that. That dent he put in the car, but yeah, it was sort of for me awkwardly placed because I get that we get we've had in the past. I think we were talking before the pod about the Porsche cup in Stuttgart always had like a BMW sorry, a Porsche on a BF double. Well, there's the BMW open a minute. That's probably wives. But that always had a Porsche on the court, but and you always won it if you won the title, but it was always sort of like on a platform I felt in the corner, whereas this one, it literally just looks like it's parked in the corner and it just gave me flashbacks to when Medvedev ran into that camera in I can't remember where it was. Was it Miami or Cincinnati, one of those masters, and he was just like, this is in a dangerous place on the tennis court. And I was just looking at this car and just thinking, this is inevitably just going to get hit by someone. And I just hope there was going to be no accident, but yeah, the fact that kozlov, I think, dented the car just shows that he should have been on a raised platform at very least for me. Yeah, I completely agree. It was just sort of really awkwardly parked and obvious product placement. I mean, that is sponsor, I guess, or whatever, but it's just, yeah, I hope cam wins that car with the Stefan Tesla. Yeah. And then I would actually I would actually next batch the next match I play against Kosovo if I category, I'll be I'll be reminding him..

It was the vitriol and the efficiency with which he hit his forehand approach. Shot in for francis. Diaw oh you date back to the start because you still see the hitch. Gate delray You can actually go online in book yourself your own vacation on your own without our assistance and we can get fifteen percent often breakfast and a resort resort fee. Taking care of. I'll get into that in a minute. Hey the milk crate. Challenges baffling me. It's been a couple of weeks since they started doing this right. Well since we're since it went wide. And i just don't understand and and to be honest. I don't i could not tell you if anyone has succeeded with the great challenge. Because i don't watch i can't watch them anymore because it looks like people are breaking their necks. Rib cages have been destroyed. Exactly here and then everyone around them starts laughing and kicking the crates around like it's the strangest thing. It's so not so people have succeeded. I watched one guy roll a blunt the entire way up and then down and he made it but the chances of success seemed far lower and all these people are acting like if they go to the hospital. There's room for them right now. There's not stop messing around. Now toss somebody. I saw somebody almost succeed but then somebody kicked the crates off from under them. And i'm like no no that's not fair and that's mean you see you guys like i said you got much further than i watch them and i mean to call it. It's not really a pyramid of crates. It's it's just a different different height levels. Whatever right staircase looking up announced staircase. Yes you go up one side and down the other and most of them fail it from what i used to watch so anyway. So is anyone out there like planning on getting some crates together or are you collecting them. So you can do this with your friends. That's my other question. i dunno. Everyone's getting all these crates from. But if there were trampolines on both sides. I would love to try it just to see if i could actually do it. That's not the same. I know but i don't want you know. Overload the icu. At the moment. Or ever. I mean even without a pandemic going on you know. There's no pandemic. I'm i'm looking forward to breaking a bone and go into the the er give them some business. What did you see the other day. Nate okay so i hope this doesn't turn into a challenge and i'm not sure if the video is old but this guy's holding a straight ladder lean up against a house and he's holding the ladder and climbing the ladder as it standing there and then let's say it did not end. Well i mean. I just hope that does not turn into the next challenge. He's holy a cirque du soleil routine but he's holding ladder street near climbing. The thing using his body saw that video. It's all in balance. I guess yeah yeah scary. I've studied the configuration of the crates. Study at a distance physics. I think that's why so. Many people fail the higher. You go in the air the less the less balance you have. Where when you get to that pinnacle one and then you start your descent. That's where most people fails when they take that next step and i just your body. The weight just goes down. The rule is what what goes up. We'll come down and there you go. I love people who are really dig into. Let's really study the physics and the gravity inertia show in anyway so please. I don't think it's going to end well for you we we. Bcc please consider your milk. Crate challenge desires all right. Let's get into the free trip phone. Tap rain in the morning shows free trip. Amazon had a weird week on Twitter. But the union vote is the big news.

"Are being counted in bessemer alabama. This week from amazon warehouse workers hoping to unionize amazon has fought tooth and nail against the union efforts and also recently against members of congress senators bernie sanders and elizabeth warren criticized. Its treatment of employees amazon's official twitter account went on the attack so did some twitter users claiming they were very happy amazon employees and not all of them were real. Let's dig into all of this and quality assurance the segment where we take a deeper look at a big tech story. Jason delray covers amazon for recode. He says this union vote is big no matter what the outcome i also think. If it's a close loss that also would be seen as a positive sign just because amazon. Never had a union in the us that even in that case we'd see other efforts at least inside of amazon facilities in the country. A couple thousand people or more than thousand people voting to unionize at one facility. I mean think that says something especially with all the pressure that management has has put on these workers over the last few weeks. And then of course senators bernie sanders and elizabeth. Warren were criticizing amazon on twitter. For how it treats its employees and we saw amazon. Take what seems to be a priebke. New tack on social media hit-back pretty aggressively so what we saw was executives from dave clark. Who's the ceo of the worldwide consumer business at amazon to the corporate amazon accounts written by pr. People you know being both snarky. You know what. I think many people would say would be inappropriate tone. I reported that that directive to get more aggressive came directly from jeff bezos. After my story kind of exploded you see executives this week. Such as jay carney. He's been on twitter. The last two days responding to both bernie sanders and elizabeth

Jack Dorsey’s Square, Inc. is buying a majority stake in Jay-Z’s streaming service Tidal

"Square got a lot of people to do double takes this morning by announcing that it is acquiring quote a significant majority stake in jay z's streaming music service title for two hundred and ninety seven million dollars. Jay z will also join squares board of directors quoting the new york times title which jay z bought in partnership with other artists. In two thousand. Fifteen for fifty. Six million dollars provides members access to music music videos and exclusive content from artists but the streaming music industry has been dominated by competitors like spotify apple and amazon in two thousand seventeen. Jay z sold thirty three percent of the company to sprint for an undisclosed amount after merger sprint is now a part of t mobile earlier this week. Jay z bought back the shares from t mobile and most will be sold onto square as part of this deal. Mr dorsey and jay z began to discuss the acquisition quote. A few months ago said jesse deroga- a sect who will lead title on an interim basis. It started as a conversation between the two of them. He said they found that sense of common. Purpose and quote. Mr dora guscott said square which was founded in two thousand nine will offer financial tools to help titles artists collect revenue and manage their finances quote. There are other tools. They need to be successful and that we're going to build for them. He said and quote so this is one of those stories where the speculation and chatter around. It is almost as interesting as the news itself. I of course you've got the celebrity angle. Jay z and jack dorsey. It actually turns out that they are good buds. They vacation together. You might have seen those yacht pictures from the paparazzi okay but square a payments company and title a music streaming service of somewhat dubious success. How does a tie between them. Make any kind of sense. Here's what jack dorsey himself had to say. Quote it comes down to a simple idea finding new ways for to support their work. New ideas are found at the intersections. And we believe there is a compelling one between music and the economy making the economy work for artists is similar to what square has done for sellers square start at twelve years ago by giving small sellers a simple tool in order to participate more fully in the economy and grow. We did the same for individuals with cash app which now enables a comprehensive set of financial services for folks who weren't able to access it before title started with the idea of honoring artists by being owned and led focused on an uncompromised experience of the art. It's refreshing and right. The vision only grow stronger as it's matched with more powerful tools for artists inclusive of new ways of getting paid given what square has been able to do for sellers of all sizes and individuals through cash app. We believe we can now work for artists to see the same success for them and us. We're going to start small and focus with the most critical needs of artists and growing their fan bases and quote. So he doesn't exactly say it there but everyone is reading between the lines looking around at this current. Nfc madness. and remembering though. I didn't tell you about this. That jack dorsey and jay z recently announced. They were creating an endowment with five hundred. Bitcoin's worth twenty three million dollars plus two teams working on bitcoin development initially in africa and india. And so everyone's thinking. This is a crypto play as peter kaku tweeted quote. I would be surprised if there wasn't an nf story. Here that fits the jack story and seems to be what he's hinting at in his tweets. But again you don't need to own title to sell jay z's and tease this would be weird if square was buying a music streaming service that people actually used but it's much weirder. It's a publicly traded. Financial services company. Buying a failed music streaming company. I guess square shareholders won't complain because they've already signed on for the jack dorsey experience but whatever awesome artists and square story. Jack is promising here. Doesn't require a three hundred million dollar payout. To jay z quote. Other people can see other angles. Here let me give you some counter takes. This is jason delray quote. Plenty of people on the square. Buying title is dumb side. But i'll be on the other end. Could it be a mistake. Sure is the deal relationship based sure. Many are but squares incredible things for small merchants and for everyday people with cash so why not artists and quote. This is scott belsky quote for a big company to create an entirely new center of gravity inside it. You need a forcing function with this lens. And the growing need to outfit the creator economy with financial tools. This seems a logical step for square and quote. This is dr sanjay quote square acquiring title to focus on new ways for artists. Monetize is going to be seen as the watershed moment of the creator economy. We're tilting away. From platforms capturing all the value to the people creating the content doing so directly for fans or indirectly via ads and quote and finally turner. Novak goes really really wild but then it doesn't actually seem all that wild when you say it out loud and then think about it especially when you see the products that twitter has been building out lately. Newsletters spaces quote jacqueline so deep into the crater economy with twitter. The past six months it leaked into square a great acquisition. That will ten acts everything square has been doing with consumer user acquisition. Not outrageous to think he merges square and twitter at some point and quote.

Fragments fragment fred delman freshman recommend sui delray ernst and luck now we Is a law firm that specializes in immigration law. And they were contracted by google to do. I nine identity verification. Your i nine. Is your your documents that you have to submit When you get hired to prove you're a either national or us whatever you're sort of immigration status so that you can be legally employed in the united states and in that process you share really sensitive information like passports id's You know birth certificates. Basically the whole purpose of the i nine is to prove who you are. And so these this law firm basically got whacked and it doesn't really say there's not a whole lot of specific information but the files were a supposedly stored in it was single file. That had a bunch of information in it. it doesn't say how they got it or or what was actually in there and in fact we found the letter of the breach that the attorney or the law firm sent to folks bud which was posted on the state of california website. Yeah because i think in i mean so it hosted the template yes example that was sent out the impact. Now through the attorney. General's office in california. So yes i guess just just reading what happened. Yeah right so. We recently became aware of suspicious activity within our computer network while our investigation is ongoing. We have discovered that an authorized third party. Aker he access to a single file. Aiding personal information leading to i nine employment. Verification services is file contain personal information for a discrete number of google irs. Informal googlers hooting. You personally yes so not a lot. No and it sounds like it was again. I mean they specifically say a single file which again so they probably had a shared drive. Set up with all the stuff. Just you know. Some folder loaded up with information. Or you know. I or a database of some sort but either way like this that's super compromising data and i mean we say so if someone has unauthorized access. They're pretty has unauthorized access. I don't have it just to a file right there in there somehow director right exactly where unless it does beg the question me. This was insider. You know like the guy got fired. And he's like all right puts us drive in loads file up. It's been real or you just kind of thumbing through the file names. This one looks interesting and this is This was akin to recollecting the pm Breach because of just the the fact that you're you've got in some cases so it again. I don't think it says when these files referral because there's current and past but again we're in the middle of a pandemic so a lot of people are using digital versions of this other scanning id's scanning birth certificates and then sending them to do employment verification and depending on how these how this law firm handles that could be the emailed it and then the person just like drags the attachment folder into the file. And that's how they do it But i remember chrysler with an i nine. You're supposed to like verify these things in person right so they've modified because you can't especially like if you're remote how would you. How would you do that. I don't know i'm shrugging and you know again. It's one of those situations where i mean. If you work for google would well. I don't know that's not true because there's all kinds of people to work google. They're not all exactly. That's honestly probably would have been the better scenario here. Maybe it's just the everyone's dragging it into google. The free google drive document but good news. Free identity theft protection jackpot nail. That which just got it from

I know you're chomping at the bit david for at grow and we will get there very soon because there's not an awful lot of news. What we've got is that andy. Murray is now no longer. Playing the event of the year in doe ray beach. I think he could tell if marie actions when we reported that he he was down to play we were. We were pretty surprised by that Perhaps perhaps not so surprised that he's no longer down to play. We understand courtesy of elena crooks from pa that the association that is the. It's not it's not a fitness related withdrawal. We didn't know anything anything further. I assume something covert and travel related. But it's not a fitness relates to put out some some quotes to that effect now And and just the given the increase in covid rates in the transatlantic flights involved. I want to minimize the risks ahead of the australian open Which does tally with. What dan evans told me a few days ago and he pulled out earlier this week he was also gonna go to dell at one point but he just said this does The rules about getting into australia and getting into the australian open which he felt that delray beach could potentially compromise and and if he would have picked up the virus that he may have a real problem and he felt that the chances of getting that much higher so on the bounce of it all he would stay in the uk. Practice get ready and then flats by on the fifteenth of january. So and. i think that's what he's gonna do and they are going to do one of these little prentice bubbles between them. Yeah as i understand it. They're all there were three locations. Were tennis australia. Were laying on charter flights to into melbourne One of them is certainly dubai. Believe the us sworn is in la so to play delray beach. It wouldn't just be a matter of getting delray beach implying that you then have a an internal. Us flight ahead of you as well which surely makes it even less. Enticing prospects say That's that we live. News we will say Got news the ashpalt and brady ought to play doubles together in the australian open getting. Does that reignited. You'll brady fire david hers. It's best aside reignited. It's just been smoldering along. Evison thinking of unknown stolen. Very i i. I do hope that there's more of this though for the australian open if we could if we're moving the dates as they have in. It's going back three weeks and everything is thrown up in the way it is one nice little bonus would be some doubles teams just emerged out of singles plas- that you wouldn't normally gas and you could just just half an extra to the tournament so and i think that that's already a big one I can see the express online headline now. David law fire for jennifer brady continues to smolder
