And then we actually have an interview with Jason, a Khalifa, who was in the CrossFit Games. I think for eight years running and he did win the CrossFit Games in 2008. I have been across the coach for many, many years. I started doing CrossFit in 2008 when the year that Jason khalipa one. So I've been doing it for about thirteen years, I always say, since before it was cool that interview was was pretty fascinating to me. Just because I've always been a Jason khalipa fan off. And because he just trained so much that it's just kind of cool to see, you know, how he eats and also how his idea towards training that much has evolved as he's gotten older. I also know who are a runner hiker golfer and much more. So, I would assume that having your grandfather be heavily involved in baseball, and you being such a fantastic athlete yourself. That probably lately, sparked your interest in wanting to start this podcast. So how do you train as an athlete? And what the heck do you enjoy eating? That's birth. The in your life. So I have always been an exercise aholic. It actually, you know, Grandpa obviously was an athlete but a lot of that actually came from my mother growing up who she was a cyclist. She was a runner, she was a racquetball player. She I always kind of kid her. She was riding her bike, like literally sixty miles out of shot. While she was pregnant with me and I was born very early at 31 weeks. I'm like, Mom, maybe if you hadn't been riding your bike sixty miles a day. I would have stayed in there a little longer. My mom was definitely an exercise aholic and I definitely got a lot of that from her as well. I, you know, after I graduated from college, I was into triathlons for a number of years. I was running ten milers and half-marathons the Olympic distance Triathlon was was my thing that's a, what is it? A 1.5 mile swim, like, a 20-mile bike and a 10k run 6.2 miles at the end. I did a bunch of those and then I had a massive hip surgery in 2007 which was the result of playing hockey with boys for so many years. To labrum tear is a bone spur on my femur or so as impingement all kinds of stuff. So, I stopped running as much started biking a little bit more and also started doing CrossFit right after my hip surgery because I wanted all the muscles around my messed up hip to be super strong. And I really fell in love with Crossfit, not for a lot of the same reasons that a lot of people fall in love with it. People love competing against other people in CrossFit, I never really cared what the person next to me was doing. I like to compete against myself and, you know, be better than I was the week before..
