"I guess five five times now every time they come to they got a west palm and we just saw them recently with stained and every time we go we go to see him but they had their the the. I think it was the twentieth anniversary of their debut album and they played it from start to finish and we saw it at the jackie gleason theater which is like it's a little smaller than the the orpheum in boston. But we were right there. You know we got the special passes to be right there on the floor and they played the album start finish and they're just. They're just phenomenal band. They are just so consistent. So i see them. Once said woodstock ninety nine. Yeah great one another one sure. Bring it on the band the ramones. How many people in. That band are actually named. Ramon none none absolutely none. So the the band the ramones came up with their name is actually a beatles connection so back in the day In the early days of the beatles back in the early days when they were even like the silver beetles when they used to check into hotel rooms or into hotels they would go under pseudonyms fake names lot of them to yeah and paul mccartney used to always get a room under the name of paul. Ramon ramon deedee. Deedee decided that he was going to call himself didi ramones than they thought..

"We would make a ten percent difference on the energy that we're using and that's a very small thing to do that. We could all do it. And it's free and we're going to save money so the expectation isn't that you're gonna now everybody's going to go off and do every single one of these things by hybrid an and put in solar panels and change filters and use gray water from their toilet and all that stuff. That's available. I mean there's some pretty crazy stuff it just to be aware of it and the next time you remodel your salon or your home. Take a look at the paint. That's out there. And use an eco friendly paint and tried to put something in your space. That's healthy for the environment healthy for your family and your team. You don't wanna put paint on the wall carpet on the ground. There's carpet now that's made out of recycled material and it's healthier and it's easier to clean and they're in square. So one chunk gets ruined. You just take out that square and put in the next chunk in their heavy industrial they can take the wear and tear of your salon or your family be healthier for you and we're also not causing such a huge dent on the planet. Give us some more resources where people could go to find out what they can do. Both in their community in their business and in their homes. Whoever they write their utilities bill to they can go online and search that personnel whether it's a pg near their local electrical company they will have resources on there. Because this is a hot topic in everybody's talking about it. I can't think of a place that wouldn't have that available. The green guide dot com is also an excellent resource earth. Nine one one dot org is another amazing resource doing a search under your local city. Waste department who you paying your garbage bill to and doing a search on them. Chances are they've got something on there. They're not always the best marketers. But you can get on there and say i've had people tell me well. We don't have recycling in my city and we sit down and do a search and they're like oh. Here's the area. I request the been. Well they never told me. I could request ben well. They're probably not because they're doing waste disposal and they're not in the marketing business. So you have to do your homework. Yeah like i know happen to know that in saint louis they don't have curbside program for up recyclables so might maybe have to do a little bit more work but what you're saying is do your research to find out what is available take advantage of what's available and when is not available doesn't mean that your stock you know there are still ways well and if it's definitely if you're in a city where it's not available in irgc community and you're at the grocery store maybe think about that. And where do you purchasing. And you need to purchase it in that package. We in the beauty business. Love really nice package..

"That we've done and all the paul mitchell schools are doing it is every time you purchased a student kit. We're planning tree with american forests to offset the footprint that our kids are making just getting from one source to the actual individual schools. You can go online to american forest and figure out what your individual footprint is and see the impact that you're making on the planet so if you want to make a difference and if you've got that hundred and thirty six fact okay well if you're interested in making a donation or if you're interested in doing a charity you can see the impact that you're making people got one hundred thirty six trees. What could that do. Trees not only provide shade and cool down. They provide animal habitat and they're also taking in the carbon and releasing auction which oxidants felling important for us as human beings and in areas where they have lots of flooding rainfall. We need trees. Just keep the ground in place so trees you think hundred trees what could it do not only will offset that person. That's been driving but think about the animal habitat and the land staying in place and clean air and more shade and keeping the earth cool. It's pretty incredible. What we everybody should go on tree actually moment you turn off the entry okay. So answer some questions for me. If i'm at the grocery store and they asked me paper or plastic. What do i say. Well you should bring your own. Okay newest i knew it. You should bring your own but if you forgot or you purchased if you're like i am and you get lost in the grocery store because it's so exciting. I love to grocery shop. And you get i just love it but then you get you purchase a little more than you planned than you go for paper to that because it's not only can you consistently reuse it but it's recyclable and you can recycle it with the rest of your paper recycling you can walk back into the store with that same paper bag. Most grocery stores will offer you..

"I think i you can also for the slums that are doing their laundry in house. Getting echo star appliance is gonna use much less water. So they're gonna save on their water bill and they're also going to save on their energy bill. Many of them are also much faster. So they're going to get a faster turnaround on their towels and when they wash them and they're kinda spin the heck out of them when they go through that process. They need less drying time. So you're not only saving on electricity. You're saving on water and you're saving on time all because you purchased an echostar machine inside the salon which we all need more money and more time slot environment for our home. We new washer and dryer. That was eco friendly. And i'm amazed when i pulled a close out of the washer. They already feel dry. Yeah i'm amazed so much less time or if stuff that you don't have to dry in your home if you hang it up and tall. So i have to hang up but you're not only saving the life of your clothes but you're also saving energy on the on the dryers well and like that message that i just sent out that i do laundry. Believe it is true. You use biodegradable. Nice little seal on what you're buying. Yes exactly that's fantastic okay. Which is important. All thinking about your encouraging. We for whatever reason they weren't so interested in saving in dispensing product for the money factor. That was a hard one for us to get across but we talked about the fact that everything that's going down. The drain is ending up in our water source and thinking about what's in that color bowl and when you're dumping it down the drain paying attention to that that made a bigger impact for us than the idea of saving money and you have to go towards whatever seems to be attracting them saving money work but protecting what was happening down the drain. They connected with that saving money. Anyway talked to us about blinds to keep the heat or keep the air conditioning and talk to us about that. Oh yeah we there's some. Uv protectant that you can get you can also get them printed with logos. If you're facing a street corner. The goal of those is to not only keep the heat or cold out the uv rays out also to keep your heat or air conditioning. Whatever you're doing in house in and if you can keep that in using less air conditioning and you're doing less heating which is saving you money on it's also less wear and tear..

"The light bulbs lasts a lot longer. People are going to be in a better mood. They're gonna look better. they're not going to get up. You know light headache because you bought some cheap light bulbs that are going to burn out in not be recyclable. Anyway so most of the things that going green means like the light bulb for example is an easy way to save money not only in the bulb because it lasts longer. Your energy bill goes down the lights better which were in the business and we need to look good and the health factor. You can't keep people for hours a day your own team in a light. That's going to cause them a headache and they don't feel well. People can start to not feel well just because of the light in the room with people. Know what you're talking about because you walk into some environments i. This happened to me all the time. Very very sensitive to lighting right so you walk into environment and all of a sudden my mood changes and immediately. I'm like oh look at the lighting But this this is this is working or this. Light does not working in terms of how i feel and it does affect your health. The way that you feel affects your house is going to affect your health. Okay so so cleaning supplies lightbulbs. What else do you implement. In your business that our listeners can learn from we have communicated with our vendors are suppliers about the packaging. That's coming in and just hey. Is there any way that you can ease up on the bubble wrap and you'd be surprised you're thinking well i don't have any control of my distributor or maybe don't have any control but just by mentioning it and having a salesperson say you know what i had another client another account that meant that. I'm gonna take that back and we've been having these conversations for the last couple years. We're starting to see the stuff. That's coming in be more environmentally friendly. But if we don't ask for if you don't go back to your vendors and say hayes or any way you can ease up on the packaging. They're not going do it. Because they're not going to think that you care about it you can i. It's kind of an old. You know warehouse logan but by cheapen packet deep as you know in really investing in bulk. When you're making your purchases it also saves on transportation and when you do onesie tuesday orders. You're not.

"That's going green right there. Something that's small. Just put it out. Make sure it's not going to catch on fire and we volunteer are we. I bought the big sand pitcher. And we're a nonsmoking campus. So i had to it to the park. Which i don't own it city properties hopefully city of services go and listen to this and i keep it over there because i don't want those butts to go into the sea and you have to and sometimes it gets kicked her and sometimes people homeless people do things in it and then you just clean it up and you keep putting it back out there because it's important and the other students to monitor it. I think our staff member also they jump in and and people will start to when they get excited about it and they're honored as opposed to the beatdown effect that everybody joins in and they feel better. Okay she said the first day of of school and again To those listen to this you're gonna translate this into the first day of brand new employees day of work or you're starting all over with the current staff that you have to do your part and implement these ideas. You mentioned coffee tumbler. So number has their own coffee tumblers. Also the water bottle the water bottles so we're not buying bottled water anymore. We're refilling refilling the bottle that we have a very extensive kit and day one welcome we we cater to them like they're the queen and then he's like okay now. You're going to break this box down. Recycle cardboard here. And it's a party in. It's the recycling partying and we're all going to break all the boxes down and we're gonna show you where the garage so we're gonna show you to recycle is an. You're going to be part of this. So they were absolutely from day one. They're recycling they're very first thing they get from us and it's gets your birthday or it's christmas and their opening this whole thing and i guess what now. This is how we recycle every single thing around here. The think of the number of boxes there show up in a salon. Yeah you know thing from receiving product and stuff and again for staff members to know how how to break down those boxes and where they go where they need to end up. But i think it will continue with this but this overall theme that you have is you have to make it easy for people. So would you say that. There are more staff members or future professionals students at tenure school that are more passionate about ellison than others are absolutely and so those are the ones that you connect with and and those are the ones who are going to be..

"It's got lots of helpful tips to and you can get update reminders. And very good day tuned well. Why don't we start with Business okay let's get into that because first of all. There's a misperception that to go. Green and to recycle actually costs the business more money and so not only. Is it inconvenient. Cost me money. It's a waste so talk to help us dispel myths smoke. I think people would say it costs more because they instantly think while. I have to buy a hybrid car or have to put solar panels on my house. And that's not necessarily true. There are many things you can do internally inter-business ten percent of the electorate you're using in your home and potentially on your business is being used by machines that are not even being used at the time. So just unplugging not using so if you unplug your computers at the end of the night if you want to unplug sometimes in salons a leave. The blow dryers plugged in. Because it's a whole rack and they're all lined up just unplugging that you can decrease your electrical usage by ten percent. They're called vampire suckers. So there's that's an easy thing within your business empire suckers staff members. No that's another. that's a whole other seattle's family in the lunchroom. You call them spoons back there. Stirring things up. Yes yes okay. That's another city. The other thing you can do is as opposed to providing bottled water or purchasing large amounts of water. You can get a filter. That's Attached to Your water source in the kitchen. And that's another area that you can be serving your guests water or distilled water that you're bringing in in your purifying it at the source as opposed to bringing in more bottled water paper cups having actual glass cups provided it's a nicer service anyway provides nicer touch. You're not putting in so many paper cups into the been recycling paper. We go through. If there's a bad job that's run on the copy machine. Flip it upside down. And that's the paper. We use it or de sprinter paper so if you're running a fax cover sheet. There's really no reason to put it on a fresh clean sheet of paper and toss it in the garbage. We get tons of junk mail that you'll never go through. You can call those people back and say. Please don't send me any more junk mail. You can request from your credit card company that they don't sell your mailing information and we got a new printer. Fax machines set up. We started getting all these factors that didn't belong to us. And i'm like who are these. The very bottom in this really find print was eight hundred number. That said if you don't want this call us and it took a little bit of diligence. We grabbed those and we call them and eventually those annoying facts like here's the stock tipper but i'm all this stuff that they were advertising to us but we're not only paying for that copy click. We're also paying for that paper in the toner and everything else. We were recycling that paper but we call them and told them that we didn't want their stuff was wasteful. Too easy easy ones is to expect people to recycle and not have. Recycling bin is not gonna work. So if you're gonna have recycle bins. Make sure that you are using them properly..

"Everybody this win clam welcome to this issue of masters which i think you're gonna find very very i have a feeling that you're gonna call staff meetings and play this cd to multiple groups of people. I think you're gonna take it home. Gather your family around. Have them listen to it too. I think you're gonna call your mayor and your chamber of commerce and everybody that you met wants to make them listen to the cd as well. Because the topic is very very timely. And certainly something that we can all improve upon and that is going green. And i'm sitting here with a attractive woman who i admire so much in the beauty industry because of what she's accomplished such a short period of time i'm sitting here with dede cross it d- welcome to master. I'm really excited so honored that you asked me what i've been back and forth about the ideas that you have implemented both in your personal life in your community life and especially in your business world about going green and saving the planet and doing the right thing and being environmentally conscious and aware and it just dawned on me. You know what this needs to be part of a cd series. Because i mean there's no way that i could get it all in one sitting with you or with anybody about what i need to be doing to be responsible and so to have this as a reference point i think is to be very valuable for people so i'm really glad that were getting it down to give information about who is d- actually is a college graduate in like. Most people did what mom and dad wanted her to do in college. But you always knew that you an entrepreneurial spirit and currently you enter the beauty industry years ago. Eight years ago entered. The beauty industry went to beauty. School beauty school college worked thoroughbred horse track for kinko's was in marketing and public relations and sales. That's another world. it was always attracted to beauty school. I loved the idea of going. I remember there was a group of girls that got get on a bus in high school and spend half the day in high school and a half today in beauty school and i was always jealous of the girls got to get on the bus. But there's just no way. I would have ever asked just know. I was third generation at washington state university. And i was going to go and i loved. It was a great experience. And i believe we talked a little bit about this. In our marilyn manson episode talked about it a bit more in depth than our marilyn manson episode and a bit internationals episode. 'cause nine snails was warped in there to basically anybody was on interscope. They were like they near burst to to the rap lyrics. Actually i did fail to mention in the nine inch nails episode but they mistook nine inch nails for rap. Oh my god out the the nine inch nails ray through that rap group inches of nine five foot seven white boys wrapping about shooting people. First of all tried reservoir wrapping. Was that when the Jeff Beck Group are a little later, we'll host was drumming. Oh, so that was a little later. When he was at just playing as himself as south. Show that I went to the performance that he went to around that time was at the San. Bernardino Swing Auditorium So we gone to that, show afterwards which you know. I was very excited to be in front of Molly performance. This oh that's always the best to be onstage with. Someone watching them perform knowing. You're going to just be with them later. There's nothing like that kind of of rock and roll magic. Absolutely, he was really a kind of a dream. Come true that I actually pulled that off with shocking. To, myself. And that Y- There was a lot of work. Put behind that mean. There was a lot of thought processes, and you know absolutely. Thought if cozy. When harmon said what a Great Time Dad! Any totally worked. One of my favorite bands was the Jeff Beck Group. With Rod Stewart singing and he was brand new on the scene, and what a character he already had a huge huge ego before he you. Anyone knew who he was, but that that band was so great his album truth is one of my very favorite records. And I. Guess I can talk about this now because i. I couldn't write about it. because I wasn't in the room when it happened, but several of the GTO's. at Frank ZAPPA's cabin. Saw Jeff Beck. Give himself. Oh. Wow, did you notice that he was quadruple? Joining like that I did not. I missed that one. Dr Know if we can keep this in, but. He I saw him years later, and the girls came running out and saying Oh my God. You can't believe what just happened. And I was very upset that I missed it tired, and I actually tried to put it and I'm with the band and the attorneys reading the books that if you didn't witness it, you can't write about it. I could have had I been in that room, but side Jeff many years later Helena's. And he thanked me for not putting it in my book and Little Dino no I tried. Oh there, you go because what a wonderful to be able do. Absolutely. Very telling. More talented than anybody new. GTO sought three of them. I have such fun memories of him. Just I mean. He was just fine on me to you know he played on our record and he was, he played on Mercy Song and couple songs on on the GTO's record, and he was just a doll. His whole band was. So, we sure have some great memories. Memories Yeah, I have absolutely done beyond anything. I ever imagined I do in life. Much Fun I look back and I have. Great Memories no regrets no regrets down here off ever couple regrets for things I didn't. Have done. That's that's the whole chicken you regret the down to. Glory I things I could have a couple of amazing things I could have done that I, you know. have a date with Elvis and things like that. But I you know I. Don't regret anything. I actually did high end tickets to see Elvis through Elmer Valentine and didn't go. There is a prime example, so we both have been storing dis. Yeah, I had someone call me up and say Elvis needs a date tonight to come up to his house and Watch TV. It was Larry Geller, who did his hair and was his spiritual adviser? And I had just gotten engaged to Michael and I said no I better not. Later I told my only didn't. What were you thinking? Of course you should have gone out there. And anyway only regrets for things I. Didn't do well see. That's the way it goes for real. So tell me about now. How is DD Keel now I am wonderful. Yeah, I am seems like it well, still working for the Public School district, and you've been a teacher. I'm the detention supervisor. Supervise a middle school. That is so fantastic. "On her finally. The stuff I've stood through James Brown, which looking back. I'm thinking that was how. I'm appreciating it, but you know when you're when you're when you're waiting for mic you when you're fourteen and you're waiting for the stones. Yeah, it didn't seem like a lot, but. I I can relive it perfectly. But at any rate. I crawled under the back curtain towards the end, and got in there and got tossed out, grabbed up a cigarette, but That is so great. Heck down away the so similar to what I did. When when they were staying at the Ambassador Hotel I tried to go meet them. You know and I made a fool of myself. I was a kid. I was fifteen sixteen actually at that time. But I did the same thing after they left town I went through all the trash cans that had been emptied out, and I have a piece of Brian Jones hair, and I I I found out how old Bill Wyman actually was boy. He was old then. Yes, I mean. He was much older than the rest of the band. He had torn up a copy of his passport. Together so I did the very same kind of things I save those kinds of cigarette, butts, Napkins, and things like that young young pre groupie girls, so I got in trouble because I followed the band and realize they were staying at the surfrider in Red Cross street from the Santa Monica Civic. Win In there by the pool, but when my mom and dad came to find me I got in trouble, said Oh no, she went over to the hotel thought hotels. Okay, they stay here. That's incredible. That was pre. That was like a year before they came back and played the Long Beach Arena right well. Yeah, what Ha! What happened after that? Zayed already gone I took a early morning bus up to Wallich's music city to stand in line for the tickets to. It was actually the Long Beach. Auditorium. Okay yes, we did. It doesn't exist anymore. Oh, I used to go well. I went there with the captain. Be Far. Oh, it was. Phenomenal venue I thought and I remember it. Venue, but on the floor they had the folding chairs wasn't yes seeding. I got up early in the morning. Run bus up to get my ticket my three dollar ticket and there was nobody there, but one girl. One girl I thought okay well. I got my ticket went home, and then my dad drove me to the concert. What good parents you had team! Tell Stack. Yeah, you know parents a- from our era. Just had no idea what was going on. It was unprecedented. What we're about to enter into that you know the hippie movement in the peace and love and all that stuff. No one stood it yet what it might do you know what that might lead to for you. Right right well. I still have the support of my family. They act actually. Think I have a glorious history. Will you do honey? I was a little embarrassed of it to begin with, but as it's creeping out into the world. Doesn't seem like you'd never be embarrassed about it just to bet. But you, but you are unabashed. You talk about it. You I mean this came out. What two thousand eight! You were still you were happy to discuss all your evaluates what happened was we took a family trip to Seattle just after the release of? Let's spend the night. On my sister, who's a retired dentist? It's pretty. Pretty Straight. She wandered into Barnes and noble and found that. And she bought it. It went back to the hotel and devoured it and she went. Oh My. IDEA! Oh yeah, and you have six kids right and they're do. She has six kids. That in itself is several books I have one kid I don't know how you did it. Man Six grandchildren now. MAZING as. Twelve wonders. going. Through it. And you know you and I are a lot alike in our. Optimism we had a lot of joyous optimism I. Do Yeah I. Do I'm a peacemaker. Love maker I can see the beauty and. Even maybe the beauty of my embarrassment, a bit of revealing my little secrets. Well, we're GONNA for after the stones concert. Did you tell me? Did you meet them at Long Beach Arena? I did not what happened after that was. They played the La Sports arena sixty five. Okay, so sixty four. I did the Tammy show I did the Long Beach Monitory Leash. You crawled under the curtains I would not have had the over his to do that. Well I try to crawl into the backstage area of the a Long Beach Auditorium is really was really old. Building and I ended up crawling through a bathroom window, but then I couldn't get out. Never made it that far. Back into my seat. the, seats were the were the folding seat. Yeah, type not fixed seats so. We all stood up, but then people. We're going right through the slats. Getting their legs stuck, so I realized if I start walking forward on the seat, so I got to the front. Pretty crazy. I I was getting a little tricks going as I went along so by the time I went to decided, I wanted to go to the Long Beach Sports Arena. They're getting quite famous at that point. Always had a little bit of magic touch and I'm. Talking to some girls school in it turns out. This one girl's dad was the manager of the arena. Fantastic I said. Let's go see the rolling stones and so they took me fantastic. First taste of front row sees yeah and getting really. And then we had to wait around while they closed a cleared out and close the arena She and I were scouring through all of the trinkets that were tossed up on stage. The Teddy bears and the. Panties Act, he's ever ause right whipping bras off through stage I. Remember that so vivid. Show too yes, and just amazing stuff going on. It was President Fun. I mean I don't think. People took their panties and bras off for Elvis or Frank Sinatra. And threw him on stage. I don't think so. They might have wanted to I. Think it's funny now I see girls go to certain concerts and bring their extra raw. That is not the same. Anyway that particular night after the arena cleared, we had to come into the backstage area. Wait for him to get everything locked up and closed out and all of a sudden. This giant hangar opens incomes. This like this giants star of this huge tour bus and I went. Oh, what is bad? What is that? But then out of a tunnel comes this man leading the band? Oh, I was just cemented to the ground in awe. Rush. In there. They were and worry fifteen time. Yeah, I would have been just going to be fifteen. I'm pretty sure it was Bill Wyman I? Think I wanted it to be Keith so in love with Keith this. Little Girl WanNa come on the bus, and I was so ready. We were grabbed by the shoulder.

Let's spend the night together. And he had no idea. I was a chapter until I opened the book you didn't. I was GONNA. Say a couple of things I mean. I thought there'd be a little something something in there. And then somebody handed me the book and said maybe you'd better look and. She has her absolutely your own chapter. And what did I call? It oh. Yeah, Hey, little girl! You WanNa come on the bus that that was for Keith Richards. Ask you that. That you know looking back, I think it might have been Bill Wyman, but But I was so stunned that it even happened and I couldn't remember. That is such a cool story. We're going to get to that. But I'm gonna read a little tiny piece out of here because. I'M GONNA. Give people a little idea of why I wanted you to come on the show, okay? Lucky for me, it's a small rock world. We live in. When she heard DD hurt, I was working on a book about Groupie history. She contacted me through my website. This is her response to my email, asking whom she had groupie with. Here go. She said Jeff Beck Cozy Powell Chick Churchill David Cassidy the entire holly's band Ian Paice Keith Hartley Johnny. Almond Tony Stevens traveled with fog, hat and Humble Pie Peter Grant. Yes, I went big I was I was like Whoa. Can't you hear about that? Leave from Chicago. Many many roadies I didn't mind if I got to hang with the band's iggy and the stooges I married. The light man lived with Egg van Halen Motley crue rat married bronchial and toured the world with many famous bands. Tiring just hearing. Yup I called her instantly and after a few minutes on the phone. I knew she had to ever own chapter. So that is D D in my booklet, spend the night together and the re- The way. This happened really is Aaron and I were talking about the. Whiskey Gogo she's. She said I need some I'd love to get some history on the whiskey. It's such an important venue. Historical place and I went well I. Know just the person to talk about that so. So here you are well in the history seems to be changing a bit as the people that remain began to tell the stories so I'm I'm really happy to talk about it. To for me to set the record a little more straight than it's starting to curve, do good because as we maybe all know by now. The Magli every family now owns the whiskey this, but it was started by Elmer Valentine. Yes, and you were his assistant for dozen years right? I was there from seventy one to eighty three. What a great run by his side and and so I have a lot of lot of love and And respect for him and I hate to see his history just disappearing but the people that are telling the stories in the Magloire family. Just don't know that's part of the problem. Okay, because the the young people run, it now ride, the younger the grandchildren Ashley I know so. How would they know unless? They heard it from Mario he had some great Mario Magli Larry and Elmer. Valentine were partners in the whiskey. A go go right. Part partners not to begin with okay well. It's okay if you know the history, let's hear it. Initially. It was elmer's idea and elmer was the sole owner. Mario was the right hand man. He really ran the place. The interesting thing was because he was out on the street. He became the face Thri whiskey which a lot of people misinterpreted it as being the owner I see well. I always knew I always thought it was co owned by both of them but I was very tight with Mario. He was much more like you said the face and he he loved pretty girls that he was always very good, though with them. Akzo bad stories about Mario Man. He was very happy with his wife scarlet, and but he he loved pretty. Girls loved him to come into the club because he did a lot of people would buy US drinks, and we get people on the dance floor, so I never had to pay to get in there. And that that's exactly what happened. When I li- began hanging out in front of the whiskey when I was fourteen, I did school go see the young rascals up there. Wasn't old enough to get in. But when I arrived there and saw those big red letters was like a beacon I at all. My God I could hang out here and see the just see him load in and out. Yeah, exactly I began to hang out there what and when I was nineteen, so maybe nine hundred sixty eight a good childhood. High, School Fran got a job in the box office I got to go in free. Is that Charlotte down was happy. She still works at the Roxy that is in. Credit I bet she's got some stories to yeah. She and I were there. A lot of them are real big on telling stories and her memory isn't the best Sushi on me a lot, but okay. clear-headed, good memory so I. Will You know I'm sure reminder of different things? Yeah, but she was the reason that I ended up getting to go. In the first place, we went together. And It was about nineteen. Sixty nine, when elmer head I was a new girl in town, a lot of attention I was gathering because there were regulars. Yeah, so he asked one night. You know who's that girl and and I got introduced, and then he said Hey. Would you like to answer phones for a couple of weeks? I look for a secretary. I said Heck Yeah Oh. My God used to be in that hallowed space. I mean you got all the stories even in the book that you've told well. Moore and Elroy said you know what's beautiful about you. You have no idea how powerful you are. I know you're just having fun absolutely. Yeah, wait every week for that. The new album releases to be sent in. Spread them out on the table and the girls and I would look around and go. Fuck. He's mine. He's mine. Yeah, so so, how did you I mean so early on? Who who were you attracted to as a as a young team? One, of course, the Beatles and the rolling stones dot got me going, and then I you know kind of branched out from there I. I totally went to the stones when I began to be pretty rebellious. Teen and so tell us about the stones concert I think we're both at the concert in Long Beach Right I actually got to see them three times because they performed at the Tammy show at the Santa. Monica Civic Oh. You've got to go to that. which was freed all the local schools? We got free tickets. So I did I went to that. My parents dropped me off. This was the first time my parents realized that I was going to be a handful. Dropped me off for the free concert and I got right up front. I thought I was going to die waiting for Jan and dean to go through. Everybody's coming.

"Worst things because they're very religious zealots. Oh My Gosh. Yeah what so. What have you guys been doing on your on your home rest? I know tips been laying down Recording himself song. Like how often would you say you shave yourself to a every other day? Okay every other day go even though you are incomplete self-isolation yeah. Yeah I like that. You'd basically because if you if you if I ended up waiting longer than every other day. Then it's much more irritating to my skin to shave Quality entertainment on a slander process to. I haven't been doing much. Been doing coding. And then like watching movies. With my daughter I watched Onward last night also watched onward. Yeah I thought it was. I thought it was pretty good. I don't think it was. I don't think it's a top Tier Pixar movie because it's kind of. It's a little bit by the numbers like you. Watch the first fifteen minutes of the movie. You know everything that's going to happen for the rest of the movie. And I there are some elements like I think. The main character scenes like animation didn't feel on par with Looks good but I didn't think it looked as high quality is I also felt like the characterization was A lot simpler than generally in Pixar movies. They didn't feel like realistic characters. They felt like Everyone had one Thing that defined their character. Yeah but overall I still feel like it was pretty good. I liked the idea of the story. They on this does. Are these main characters. Live in a world where magic was a thing. And they're all like they lived in a world where it was Lord of the Rings and then some people actually it was D- Dod because of a Lord of the rings didn't have gelatinous cubes and then someone developed electricity. And everyone's like it's too much work to learn magic. We're just GONNA DO technology instead of like this. Is the Pixar movie. Yeah so like BASF into the future our main characters living in a world where drives cars and everything but magic still exist. Everyone's just too lazy to do it. And then our main character essentially has lost his father and he really wants to meet him and there's like he's basically gave them a gift of like a magic spell that will let them see them for one day. Then thing about it is like I was looking at it and I was like. What's the parallel supposed to be here with modern day because the parallels that I kept seeing? We're like like his old brother who's obsessed with all the old stuff and all that is is the parallel there. It seems like someone who's obsessed with A civil war reenactment or vikings or anything that racist people love from the past. Well I think the parallel is actually just someone who's like a DVD ner but if etc deedee Israel which really muddies the waters their World War India Israel. I mean the the movie is all about how The values of the past are better and we should go back to them which is not a great value to promote. I think he can run a political Campaign off that and win me. Yeah I like a gift with the I think. The moral of the story was more about like valuing Stop valuing this daljit value. What you have like. The main character headed a nostalgic idea. Wanted TO MEET HIS DAD. When and then at the end of the movie he realized his little brother.

Princess Anne is that they don't have to worry about security on the same level as the boys. I don't think because they're not as side after him. So maybe it's easier for them to get in and out of places possibly so it's less expensive to be doing more things than to have the main the Fab Four, okay know, what I mean hurt for the third year in a row, the duchess of Cambridge. Kate has racked up the fewest number of public engagements. Just a mere total of eighty seven. And he's a slacker Meghan.
