"Of digressions that i need to just keep to myself so anyway grizzly anyway revenge at you've got charlie sheen laura dern and george clooney are camping out. Laura dern can like dancing for george clooney. They're kind of a couple and you know trying to get hot and heavy. Charlie goes off to sleep by himself. He doesn't even look like himself. He's way yeah he should have brought one of the corey's with him. It's horrible said that but anyway talking to myself got the right the bear attacks are rudimentary with these a lot of First person camera shots. you know. there's a lot of chasing those insert shots of the bear are one of those things where that could be occurring anywhere like It says here that The specialists pex supervisor nick maley Created the animatronic bear for the film but it was not able to get to work properly so new bear was created with special effects It was going to be added in the film but the post production was never completed and the leaked work print. The animatronic bear appears only briefly in the final scenes. Oh man so that's pretty rough when that's that's heidel of the movie and animatronic to work. Well they keep saying that You know this bear is absolutely huge. There's a giant bear but you don't get a real glimpse of them and when you do it's just like his face roaring like a force perspective shot in yes it's not good yep but it was fun to watch. I mean there was a lot of a lot to like about it deborah foreman. She's she's damned. Cute in this john rees davies and i imagine genre davies dressed like You know daniel day lewis from last year right. That's pretty awesome. He's playing like a native american. Who's been camping out in these woods. Kinda out i don't know if he's coming after this bear because it killed his family there was like one or two lines at explained it and i think that in one of those lines. Somebody's stated that yet. He's not a native american no he's his family was killed and he kinda went off the rails and has been living in the woods ever since. Wow so he just got that outfit from like the gift shop or something and he's like okay. You let your gun has a cork on the end of it. A sandwich anytime. If i'm starving. I went to school together and then They all went onto their different lives. They grew up different accusations. Have you and then. There's a death so zach. Braff comes home for the funeral and reconnect or some of his friends. Will one of his friends invited Silent velcro and he's so filthy rich. Does what made me think about it. He has this huge mansion. Yeah he just got millions off of its hilarious. So he's just he's so bored because he's got all this money. So we invite stanley portman and zach braff over and he's got a. He's got a cross bolt. No let's compound bow and arrow and he's lighten the tips that shoot them up in the air and they're trying to dodge it from you know get not all when it comes to because he can't any better too so that's what made me think of it. It's you got all this money and you're just you've done it all like you said. Yeah so you just got to come up with just weird entertaining things. I guess and then i guess this is what this buffy mafia the the one sided to do one thing was is that the the the main character Played by deborah foreman. Was that great. Did you like her I didn't i. I always had a crush on her. Because i liked her in a movie. I don't know if your thought was an early. Eighties movie called valley girl. I've heard of it with the really young nicholas cage i'll while and she's a valley girl and nicholas cage. Is this punk rocker from you. Know and they fall. Love kinda like You know it but it's a really good eighties movie and she's fantastic in the film but yeah she's not the goodness but i always crushing stars lead. I don't care. But yeah can i jennifer aniston and let you know women do that. Say do they do that. Helps style keno. Interesting facts about the film about. Amy steel frank marku so junior was a producer on this movie and he just happened to produce a movie call friday thirteenth part two and put her in the movie there. You go uh. But i had never heard fred walton director. Okay i guess he did. A movie called When a stranger calls and they disobey nine which is really came up on my on my amazon. Yeah i love that concept with her in the house. I love that what happened. Yeah i just. I i know i. I really wanted to like the movie. I i like the concept. But like i said you have to restructure the script. I agree and i totally agree now. There's this newer version out. I wonder if better i was kinda curious. I'm like Now that they fix this problem or after what they did with this movie. Because i'm like you really pushed the joke. And you know when you take an april fools joke too far and i've been through those on. Yeah i hear ya. It's like really come on now. You're going to do that with the movie. Just kind of play on april fools joke in you know. I guess you could go the way you could watch us movie again with shown at other people and hey i want you know april fools day. Here you go. Here's the ultimate pool. Stay joke watches movie. But it's just it's really too long and their scenes like i said it it. Sometimes it's beautifully shot and you know. It's marthers martha Vineyard worse they shot it. Oh beautiful right but yeah garlic rap. That's right you know. It's it's beautiful you know and There are some really good shots. I agree yeah. I know that it just didn't feel like a horror film. That's the that was the main for them. And then when it started getting into into looking like a horror film it really. Wasn't you know so it was so that was a big problem for me. And i'm like okay. It's starting to feel like war film but really not and when it started off the one scene where she finds the jack in the box and she's reliving how she got hurt pranked. Yeah how's he had a little girl to that because pops out of the jacket boxes this monster and it comes to the screen like okay. Well yeah that's that would get me. But i didn't think it was that big of a deal. It doesn't make sense. Still why she would play this practical joke and these two people that she knows yes like. It was done to her right. So so why. Would you wanna turn around and hurt somebody else. The way of that scene. You know it doesn't really explain anything other than the fact that oh. When she was younger she got a jack box. Scared her so she was prank. So now that for the raking right now you know start scaring people for a living because she has nothing better to do and home is gorgeous. Yeah why don't you just retire there. Yeah it's like. I said nothing film makes sense and when you find out what with the films all about it's a really i say piss people off they be like. Don't go see this movie because it's just a joke. yeah get. That's the name of the film. And i know that's what they're going after. But i just know. I get it. Yeah it doesn't work so not like you said not to say felt like this. You thought you know what this this would make a good short. But it doesn't make a good feature film hour and a half film right. Because you're just kind of prolonging the thing here when you reveal is like i went through this whole film. Think that there's some kind of killer and a big prank. Yeah and stats. They were going for. And i'm like that's a.

The film was called the horror party h. o. r. o. r. In france things clarify right very different. Other one would be a very different movie. Yeah in france. It was called weekend of terror which is a lot scarier than calling it april fish but that would have been fun to lastly. It's one of three horror films from nineteen eighty six takes place on april fools day. The others being killer party and slaughter high. I actually haven't seen either of those other movies but if you do want a horror movie marathon in april fool's day there you go triple feature. "Spilled milk on the floor and had like a glass in my hand to make it look like you know i was mid to doing something just collapsed. I guess because like the glass wasn't broken. She was like yeah. I'm not. I'm not falling for it. She walked right over me and was like clean up the milk. The girl who cried murder a so. I'm sure everyone has heard the phrase you're pulling my leg Which means you must be joking playing a prank on some on making up something. So this term was extremely popular in the twentieth century. And the origin of the phrase is still something of an enigma. At amal just people who study the origin. History of words. But i was kind of curious about where this phrase came from. And since we're talking about holiday where we play pranks each other. I thought i would share the interesting but strange origins of the phrase anyways i was just curious and thought i would share my findings so there are two popular theories about how this phrase came about neither of which is backed up by any real evidence in also. Neither theory is very plausible. Keep that in mind but they are entertaining. I is that thieves used to pull at people's legs to trip them in. Once the victim was on the ground the thieves would then have ample opportunity to wrap them while an interesting story. The possibility is low and the details of the origin. Change too much to be taking seriously. Some people say that this happened in the vague medieval markets or in victorian london while others will give an exact date say Eighteen eighty two. Unfortunately the lack of any documented evidence of this origin theory makes it nothing more than a fanciful. guess. I have never heard that now. But it's yeah that's kind of scary. Just be walking on the street and have someone trip you and then rob you while you're laying helpless on the ground i triple out myself. Thank you very much. I don't need anyone's help. You make yourself an easy target anyway. The second origin theory has to do with executions by suspension hanging tiber in england. And there are different types of hangings if you weren't aware which i'll cover and just the second. It's believed that people were occasionally hired to hang onto the victim's legs to give them a quicker death suspension hangings typically result in a much slower death. Then a long drop hanging and the extra weight on the victim's legs could potentially make the rope mercifully work just a little faster however this theory is also discounted because there's no documented evidence of how the phrase made the leap from someone hanging to joking around or storytelling or lying. Plus there's no record of the phrase during the times that suspension hangings were popular but q imagine if that was your job like off to work today. Oh what do you do. I hang on people's legs until they die. You get benefits without. There are people that were like the official hangman or whatever. That was their job. But i don't think those are the same. Well maybe they were. I don't know if they were the same people that actually like hong on their legs later that's grossly their way. Yeah i wouldn't want. That is a job. Definitely not of course. We couldn't talk about april fools day without mentioning one of our favorite horror movies of the same name april fools day from one thousand nine hundred. Eighty six stars deborah foreman who in valley girl and real genius to really awesome eighty movie eighties movies..

"Basically to Okay spoiler alert but like it's a big Everything's fake and shane. Deborah foreman is trying to turn her. This inherited a house into like. Am murder mystery kind of bed and breakfast thing. But thomas. f wilson. Yeah is in this yes. That's a butcher Biff biff tannen. Yes he's the especially cringe worthy dialogue. Guy that i'm talking about our he he's got some good stuff. Real as looked away from the tv waited until it was over anyway. That guy slaps his prosthetic eye on a our the stripper guy. Which is the exact same place that he has the prosthetic in summer school when they faked the the murder letting see he's a final boy in it and yes. He's freaking out. Yeah he's like screaming like a little girl. Assume that which is like the you know that must be so comforting for her. He's like locked in a pantry. He looks like a he's in shape. It'd probably take like ten pounds of pressure. Knock that door down. I have seen that a lot though. A grown people being trapped in pantaleo. Yeah it's a thing yet. That's what i'm afraid of. When i reached that age just like trapped in a pantry in my grandchildren. Just think i'm weird. You know okay. Grandpa thing about lattice to god keep it away from me but a pantry would be a good place to be trapped in and got snacks and probably it would be a while seat. Nobody wants to get out. That's why as like stephan ritz crackers into his mouth. These are like the extra butter kind. They did remake april fools day. Yeah i've never. I've never seen the remake. I watched it It's the chick Oh my god from rob zombies halloween scout taylor compton. Oh my god. Is that her name. I don't know fact. That's she's got to get a better name gotta get a better name. Yeah april fools. Day was two thousand eight that remake and it is kind of set the same way but it. It's these are like rich kids and it made it even more annoying. That's sort of the plot for the old one two as you feel like they're pretty vena they're talking about going to vassar and you know they're kind of annoying rich kids to own my god dude. I've really looked at some dark stuff. Last night griffin. O.'neil is skip their names in this. Were cracking up. There's mufti slash buffy nikki Which is okay buck rob skip. These are all like rich. Kids name. He i guess what is skin. I feel like i've heard that name before. In like old tv shows and stuff it is short for skippy or skimmer name your child skippy skipper. But i mean that's an nickname right. His real name greg or something Chaz arch is biff. S- name me kit kit. And that's a girl's name. That is a girl's name. Yeah if they would just say that. These are all nicknames. Right right right. That would fit better. Yeah like shit head and fuck fast but anyway griffin o'neal skip That is ryan o'neal's son nor brother to Can't think of his name. Tatum tatum. If you scroll down to his trivia it gets real dark and then you watch his performance in this movie. He hasn't been in very many movies now. he has twelve credits He is augie in the wraith. Though so we will definitely be exploring that at some point. That movie is in saying the people that are in it. Just it's has to be talked about how you're talking about the this. His problems with drug addiction led to reckless both mishap..

"And you're kind of like wondering you know eventually kind of what's real and what's not. There's a moment in the movie where all of that stuff at the beginning is kind of forgiven because of you know what you find out later the switcheroo at the end you know what i mean. So i really loved Deborah foreman is the other like creepy twin. You know plays mafi and buffy. Which i wanna break in right there and say that in looking at spring break movies. There's a lot of women named how i feel like. That was just a thing. Then you know what. I mean Of those like kinda hoity toity names you know because isn't like Only the girl in better off dead has a name like that. I think and they really drilled down on the mufti part. Also that other actress. deborah goodrich. Yeah and she's been you know she was in a ton of oh she was in just one of the guys to. There is a lot of crossover with kaz clayton. Romer is in april fool's day. He's the guy from just one of the guys Some of the stuff is There's lots of connections. I don't think i knew that. William zap co is in just one of the guys. He's the main bad guy. That has that weird. Oh my god at the very first day that she goes to high school as a boy she meets him. Or i guess we meet him and he's doing the weirdest he gives a guy wedgie but then he's like rubbing the the the little nerd like on his crotch guys don't i am not making this up and watch that watch the it's in the first thirty minutes of the movie and even says something creepy about okay. I am going to table this for the yes. I'm gonna table this and this is that this is not the last that you will have heard about a what's his name williams abkah yes rubbing and heard on his crotch I love that movie so much. Oh so what. I was going to say about the the guy from summer. School can land with the silent. D is that A when he's lead in on the the switcheroo at the end the guy. I think it turns out. There's a tall blonde guy dies at the very beginning of this movie brand He just kinda shows up out of nowhere..

"It gets worse. Put people just saying like crows. It's that's just open. Mike boots here. It is real people just like you look at these real bands and then people it goes from. It just goes from it. Goes from from from bad to worse to just weird like what did they give these bitches before they start. They were banned. Yeah those i it. Kind of the eighth. Their careers well The other band like the one guy who gets to some drama with one or the other main characters because they have that whole affair loan soap opera thing His partner they were like a little band played like little clubs and they got in this and they set them up with with a fake band but they were like man. We'd never played an audience like they really did get eastern europeans out there a real festival to see western music and for a lot of them. This was like a big deal and they were like waiting for this concert movie to come out not even knowing that this was part of a bear movie and and they were thinking like man with this. When this comes out we're gonna blow up and yes some years. Yeah they blew up the careers real good but the soundtrack in the in the work pre version is actually great. Because all that stuff with the concert footage it's in this. That's still in there but when it's the scenes with Deborah foreman and all of the the background drama and all of that going on behind the scenes on the stage throughout all of that. It's playing unlicensed. Michael jackson music and i want to see this work to man. I got prince better like when i was thinking about going. I kind of remember liking the work print version. And how pech to that might be a key. Factor was at so much. Michael jackson washes man. Brad you sold me on man. I'm so glad you're here. Because this is shit i did not know. That's amazing. loretto man. It's like the band's a terrible even as bandit they're talking about that like we said they know the i e countable girls whatnot yet now it's not good that the fucking man i'm just gonna i'm not gonna be nice. The fucking novelty act to begin with. Yeah with a fucking horrible. In a thing is is that it gives it keeps getting worse because they keep cutting back to. That ban was a banker total coa so they must they must have known. That was the biggest band that guy. 'cause they keep they keep cutting back to that ban and it ruins any tension that the movie tries to have because they'll begin serious and it kind of that band but keep in mind though. It's grizzly too so no scenes a serious though tension and like there's not like like even the season already ridiculous they they ruin and even more but back to the girls and believe me though scenes are very ridiculous it's not an oversized grizzly wrestling. What you're up to feels like john belushi playing care source saturday night show. Yeah it'd be ridiculous but sees are ready ridiculous on his own. They just killed. The mayor beat me marriages cooling. America's leader still motherfuckers and then they just gets so if you look at this potential there's already ruined with the best footage but if you're looking for comedy value getting funny because they may try to be all series with this stupid shit into the always come back to the baz all you need to sell it with these girls dragging. What's yours. shut up. I'll do the too. So i kept watching this just kind of sneak in film miss at a concert or because it was really people out there. Lots of people. That's why i was. Just i gotta know they put up a set up a legit music venue and did all this people people they cut from this dude talking to stop the devil bear six six second a s jimmy johnson. Bad to push back a.

"To make a joke. 'cause it's going to be on the headline right. Yeah yeah well no just think what the praying mantis and the modern Hornet. Think brains brains. It's like night of the living dead seriously. You you understand when you see it. I know what happens when praying Mantis has made. And that's the way to go out. That's if you're GONNA go out that's the way you should go out happens during the process Yeah that's actually a reflex it's just what is up with insects. They're all insane. I and sure many are thinking that we are as well but Plump Pink things that we can just eat through with our mandible enough. I'll right now that we have jumped the tracks trying desperately to get back on track. Let's talk about some non insect a vod movies this Valla girl yes. This is a remake of the nineteen eighty three film with Deborah Foreman and Nicholas Cage. Did you ever see this? The original like it was nine hundred eighty three little wrong com from from the back in the day this is and relaxed and that coming from someone who does not like Rom coms were like a good rob i. I'm split on a lot of things. But here's the thing with this one. It's a a remake but it's also telling the story like the the. The mother is telling your daughter the story about when she was a teenager. So it still takes place in nineteen eighty three. And it's about this valley go from the San Fernando Valley and she's pretty and she's popular and she's rich and she meets a guy who's not from the other side of the tracks but the wrong side of the hills he was. He's a punk rocker from Hollywood and they kind of have this whirlwind romance but of course everybody is giving her grief about it from her family to her friends and the The that basically the story. It's even if we've seen this kind of thing before a dozen times. Not just because it's a remake But it also is a jukebox musical. So they have these Songs like we got the beat from the go go's and goes just WanNa have fun by Cyndi lauper and the cars and all these different bands from the eighties so it's a huge in astrologer fast and they do these song and big song and dance numbers with the music. And it's really Kinda cute and I gotta say you know. It's one of those. That's great diversion from all the nonsense going on today with murder. Hornets and Batman bear pig and giant praying mantis as the size.

"You you. You think you don't like Vivians Bon Jovi playing wait till you hear one of my favorite eighties movies. Okay. All right. Well, what is it? It's not one of your favorite. Okay. You're not a fan of Saint elmo's firearms. You by any? I'm not. Is that one of your favorites? It is. Oh, man. Yeah. No, I'm not I'm not a fan of Saint Saint almost fire. Yeah. But that was the that was the movie that really. Cemented the the the the brat pack that was the movie that did it like a kind of started with breakfast club. But by the time by the time that movie by the time Samos fire came out, the brat pack was a thing. Yeah. Yeah. You had you interviewed the guy who wrote the song sonoma's fired. Did you not show one time? No, no, no. I interviewed the guy I interviewed the guy who wrote the song for dirty dancing. Okay. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Sorry that the guy who the guy who wrote the song for San hose fire. Are you talking about the theme? Or are you talking about man in motion? Gotta be in motion. Yeah. And I've got my music movies mixed up anyway. So let's just move on derail your, that's okay. You didn't. That's john. John parr. Okay. John Parr who had fantastic fantastic mullet in the eighties. John party. Did he had like a Perm mullet? Like, it was not only a mullet, but it was a Perm and mullet was impressed. He had a twofer. A two variety Herm and a mullet. I remember the video for that song because the song is ridiculous. But I remember the video did you remember the video now the video is like the there because the same almost fire. There's a bar that they hang out in the movie called Saint elmo's cinemas bar. And so in the in the video they show as they do from any song that becomes a hit from soundtrack when they make a video they'll they'll do like montage scenes clips from the movie, you know, we'll be interspersed. Yep. I just remember when he's singing, all the inspirational. In motion doing doing that thing. He's actually walking up to each actor who are now in character and inspiring them. I just remember them that is cheesy standing there looking at John Parr as if he's singing the greatest, you know, most inspirational lyrics of all time. But yeah, but that's a full-on eighties movie man from the from the soundtrack to the to the close to the hair that's a full out how in Roblo playing. The sax sad sack sacks anymore. These days. Man. But yeah, I mean, that's a quintessential eighties movie that that movie if you watch that movie now, you you you're not gonna have any difficulty. Figuring out. What decade it was made? No. Now. What were we thinking? What's going on with the close? Right. Oh, man. Yeah. I mean, I've got some some really some blackmail material picture wise man floating out there that my parents have from the eighties where I just I mean. Oh my God. Yeah. I had every kind of hair that you can have in the eighties. All man me too. I need a if you've got a photo of meat you'd probably need an extra foot on top just for the split. Yeah. I did the spiked hair to and the. And I got an actually had a mullet because you have to understand. At one point in the eighties. Bano had a mullet like a major major league mullet. If you go if you go back and watch the Live Aid the Live Aid concert. He's got a really ridiculous mullet. But in one thousand nine hundred five if Bono had a mullet it was cool because he's Bano. Yeah. You know what I mean? So I was like oh hell of bonobos got one of those haircuts. I'm gonna go for it. Because bonobos cool. Right. So. So I did I had the mullet, and then I had the rat tail which I believe was my favorite. Yeah. That came after didn't it go. Yeah. Now, did you ever go with the half shirt nano? I never did never did do the half. God the half shirt. I totally. Oh, absolutely. I remember. Yeah. I remember they did it on in football practice things. Like that. Never wore a half shirt. Like didn't like it. You didn't go to like a house party wearing a half shirt. I don't think so. I never did do the Perm. I will say that neither deny the mullet. I had the spiked up hair. I had to like the sides of my hair. Shaved you know for me. It probably wasn't because I decided that's not cool is probably because I couldn't why was born with that hair. How did he do that? Probably didn't know how they did it. Yeah. Probably would have had probably would have had a Perm. Yeah. Oh, man. All of that is on fine display and saying almost fire, by the way. Here's where they here's what they start. You. Remember, the movie short-circuit? Yes. That was a robot named number five. Yeah. Yeah. I remember not liking it in. And I remember there was short circuit to they did do a sequel to it. Yeah. How about lady Hawke? You remember lady Hawke with Matthew Broderick and Michelle Pfeiffer? No, man, Rutger Hauer. Remember that one? It was about a a a woman who I if I remember correctly. She turns into a she turns into a hawk. Ooh, that looks choice. I don't remember seeing this one. It tells the story of of a pickpocket and a night on a journey to find love and defeat evil. That's what they say. Now, I have not seen lady Hawkins, I'm very very very long time. But I remember actually liking it. And I love Rutger Hauer. All right. I'm looking at this at the next one here, and it's Tootsie, which is one of my which is such a great movie. Such a great movie and Dustin Hoffman is so great in that movie. If you've not seen Tutsi. You really do. He plays an actor struggling actor who pretends to be a woman and auditioned for a soap opera and gets the part, and then has to act like he's he's a he's a woman, but he falls in love with his co-star played by Jessica language makes things very difficult. Meanwhile, Jessica Lange father. Played by the late. Great Charles during. Is just so sweetness movie. It's a great nitsa classic. You want another quintessential Vic this one came out the same summer as. As Saint elmo's fire. And I saw this one a bunch of times what you got desperately seeking Susan. Oh, yeah. Sure. Resent our cut. My sister loved that one. I probably had to watch it fifty times. Just because she loved. Yeah. I'm a I'm a Madonna fanatic. And and I really I love that movie and Aidan Quinn is in desperately seeking Susan that was in one thousand nine hundred five that's also considered a a big one. How about the untouchables shot right here in Chicago. With Robert deniro as alka prone. Kevin costner. Of course, Sean Connery won the Academy Award for best supporting actor for that. One. Untouchables great movie. Here's one of my favorite movies from the eighties and another quintessential eighties movie valley, girl. This is the first time he ever you ever really got to notice nNcholas cage. Yeah. Got a great soundtrack. And it's it's really it's a it's a really great movie. Deborah foreman is the lead. She plays the valley girl, and I remember came out and had a great fantastic soundtrack like a really really great soundtrack. They play million miles away in about eight hundred times by the plimsolls, which is such a great song. But I remember seeing that while I was in. I was a senior in high school when I saw that movie. And and I thought it was great. And it was you know, right around the time Frank Zappa released that song valley girl where moon unit his daughter. Played the valley girl on the song, and that became a huge hit to so like valley, girl and valley speak were a thing in the early eighties. Yeah. I grew up a when I came out I was still living in the bay area until we thought the people down there were a little weird 'cause we didn't talk like that. Outside. Yes. Southern ones. Southern California's just weird, man. They mentioned baby boom here a really sweet comedy with. Diane keaton. The unexpected. And unexpected death leaves her the care keep the caretaker of a baby girl, and she's a New York businesswoman. The late great herald Ramos is in that movie. And that's a really I thought that was a really good movie. I liked baby boom a lot. It was interesting to see that. That's that. That was mentioned here in the article. Now, here's a great one. We've talked about this movie before Vic. This is they've they've got to live and die in LA. Oh, man. Yeah. Oh my God. That was so shocking. Dickey's ridiculous. You know, an and I remember William Petersen who've Chicago actor directed by the great William freakin who also directed. The exorcist in French connection from Chicago been on the show a couple of times, he's just brilliant in. And I'll tell you what to live and die in LA. Also contains one of the greatest chase scenes of all time. One of the most insane car chases of all time. Where they're going the opposite direction on an L A freeway. What what? But the thing about it was you know, it was one Willem Dafoe s- first movies. He played he played the villain in Gionta turell one of his first movies. It's a really great man Wang Chong did the soundtrack you wanna talk about eighties Wang Chung. Did did all the music. I live and die in LA. It's actually one of my favorite soundtracks of all time. And then, of course, the moment where your main character gets his face blown off with a half an hour left in the movie. I just remember thinking you can't do that. Now, you see that? And you go, oh, they did it. Yeah. Now back then, you know, I remember that being. I remember being in the theater and seeing it, and I went to a big sneak preview of it because William William William Petersen. It was his first big movie role. And he's a guy who started remains theater. He's worked with Steppenwolf. Everybody knows William Peterson is you know, I mean, but this was his first big role. And there was a screening of downtown in the theater, and it was packed with his friends and his family and people from the Chicago theatre community bunch of people from Goodman, and remains and Steppenwolf for all down there to support Peterson. And when his face got blown off with the shotgun. You can imagine not only were were just a general viewer shocked, but like his family and friends win. Wait a minute. Right. You can't blow William Petersen's face off. He's the lead and they do it. And yes, you know, Victor, still a half an hour left the movie. Oh, yes. It's a shocking moment. It's ridiculous. It was back. Then anyway, I don't know if you know, but yeah. No. I think it's still shocking. I really do. I won tickets to go see that from a radio station. So and I'm sitting here, googling, you know, about it. And I come across I just stumbled across a true crime podcast called to live and die in LA. And apparently, it's like just blowing it up is that right now, I want to check this out. Wow. That's right up. My alley. Absolutely. Series. So you know, that we had a couple of times I've had on the show a who she was a female. Why am I secret service agent? The president's detail. Right. And she also worked in the counterfeiting because that's where she starting very fascinating to listen to her talk about experiences, and she said that they actually showed her scenes from this movie because it's so authentic about counterfeiting because they show in detail. How Willem Dafoe makes counterfeit money all the way down to drying it in a in a closed dryer with with poker chips. He throws poker chips inside. They're all of that stuff in when I had freed can on when I talked to him about to live and die LA. He said that the that they had. The people who were watching the movie who worked for the government.
