Rep. Chip Roy: Biden's Language on COVID Response Is Always About Others Than You

"Doing. So I've got it. We're gonna force the boosters. Soluble. They're going to force you to do And by the way, it's all purposeful to say it's to help other people because they don't want to make it about you. Because then it's about freedom for you to make a decision about a mask or about a vaccine for you or your loved one. No, no, they want to make it about. You must do that for the other people. Even though there's no science to back that up. We all know that you can communicate the dengue virus. Even if you've been vaccinated. Remember, they move the goalposts on that. Right. Originally, it was all Oh, no. Well, you know, it's going to protect you from being able to communicate the disease. No. Then they found out. That's not the case. So now there's a well you've got to do it just to make sure that everybody can be taken care of. It's absolutely outrageous. And the booster stuff in the FDA is particularly telling that you've got experts there that are quitting over it, and that they're voting against what Biden. He does because here's the thing Chip. You can support vaccines as I do and oppose tyranny. And that's the point they support tyranny. And support vaccines. We support vaccines and opposed tyranny now De Santis is even pointed out. I'm pulling this up now. Broward County. In Florida. The anti body doses are being were being distributed 52% of the patients and a whopping 69% of the patients over the age of 60 had been vaccinated. Yep. So yes, and and the sentence has said I recommend you get vaccinated. Yes, but it's not enough. I mean, I got to have these and I've got to have these therapeutics if I want to use them. And now they're cutting them off. And look and add on top of this. You know this? My dad had polio. Okay? And I love my watch My dad his whole life. I'm very pro vaccine for for when we know what it is, and you make a decision. That's good for you and your family. But if you've got natural immunity, there's evidence that maybe you shouldn't get it right. Or maybe you're think so. I think you're right.

"The whole thing laid out ready to go. And then I see on this Facebook page The WPTV, which is a local media outlet down here in Palm Beach. I live north upon beach in Florida. They're reporting that despite Governor De Santis is ban on mask mandates, not ban on masks. Yeah, contrary to with Randi Weingarten, the teachers union tells people because she's a liar. It's not a ban on massacres. A ban on masked man. His parents can choose. Put a kid. They're kidding. Um, asked why they choose that I don't know, but or they can choose not to right. So, uh, Palm Beach County basically gave the double barreled middle finger to Governor De Santis and said, We're just going to mandate masks. So most parents, I'm assuming just going to ignore this because nobody really cares with the Palm Beach County People say there are losers in the in the governing governing infrastructure. Pompey's people down there are awesome, but it's run by idiots and losers. Palm Beach kind of. Sadly, it's largely Democrats. They're all in Brussels. And I'm sitting there and I'm reading the comments underneath the story. And it's amazing how many parents are on their well, we're gonna call Pinots. Parents in name only who don't care about their kids at all, have not asked any questions about the long term effects of masking their kids for eight hours a day, the effectiveness of the matter relative to the potential negative effects they've done none of this. They want their kids and muzzles like dogs because they don't care about their kids. They just don't the gas. Somebody's talking about killer Basque Has it stopped. Anything isn't really been effective in stopping. Do you have any actual evidence? Real world evidence that this thing has been this masked man they affect you Have any of that evidence? No, I don't have it. So you're gonna put your kid in the muzzle? Of course I am. I'm a liberal parent. Don't give a damn about my kids. I just don't like you conservatives. "With Antifa? Black lives matter and writers. But we're limited. You know, That's the obvious things, you know, Vote and so I'm not talking about that. What do we do? As I point out in American Marxism, the failure of the federal government To unleash criminal investigations and bring charges against Antifa and black lives matter and other domestic terrorist organizations. For the mayhem they have unleashed in the billions of dollars in damage they have caused an American communities. Is scandalous. Moreover, the disparate treatment of individuals by federal law enforcement based on their political beliefs is shocking. And yet we have honorable governors who can act to protect their citizens, including strengthening their laws against such violence and riders. Florida Governor Ron De Santis has instituted measures that increase penalties for existing crimes committed during a violent assembly. It protects the communities, law enforcement officers and victims of these types of act. The bill also create specific crimes for mob intimidation and Cyber intimidation to ensure that Florida Will not be a welcoming place for those wishing to impose There will on innocent citizens and law enforcement by way of mob mentality. Crimes of mob intimidation and cyber intimidation. Both will become first degree misdemeanors. Governors and state legislators across the country must be pressured to adopt similar loss. But citizens need not wait for government at all levels to act. This is from American Marxism. There are private civil lawsuits. They can be filed against these organizations and individual writers. Florida Law May Thwart Effort by Cruise Industry to Set Sail

"A seven night Caribbean cruise from Fort Lauderdale, with all crew and adult passengers vaccinated. Cruise industry has been shut down for the past 15 months by the Corona virus pandemic. The CDC said last month that cruise ships with nearly all passengers and crew vaccinated can resume sailing. But NPR's Greg Allen reports there is a problem it violates a Florida law. This ad by celebrities sums up the relief and excitement among cruise companies. Some day is finally here and we're ready to sail beyond again. Extended shutdown has cost the industry more than $17 billion in direct losses. The celebrity cruise departing June 26 will be the first under new CDC protocols. CBC says ships can resume sailing under two scenarios. The first is after conducting tests cruises with masks and social distancing in place show they can keep passengers and crew safe. The second scenario, when advocated by the industry, allows ships to resume sailing immediately as long as 95% of passengers and crew are vaccinated. Chris Gray Faust is managing editor of the website. Cruise critic. People will not have to wear masks, they will not have to do social distancing and at least in the US, they'll be able to do shore excursions without you're staying in a cruise ship bubble type of situation. The idea of requiring all adult passengers to be vaccinated is popular not just with the companies but also cruise passengers. House says the survey conducted last week found 80% of cruise passengers said they would prefer to sail on a ship with a vaccine requirement. So what we're finding is that Abbott cruisers want to get back to see, but they would overwhelmingly prefer to be on a ship with vaccines. That's what passengers want. It's what cruise lines want. But it's not what Florida Governor Rond de Santis once. He recently signed a bill passed by the Republican Legislature at his request, which bans company from requiring any customer to show proof of vaccination. Under the law, each violation carries a $5000 fine. Asked about it last week, De Santis said, applies to cruise lines and that if they violated, they'll pay. We are going to enforce Florida law. I had to sit down every day. Just do the groundwork do the legwork. Whether i wanted to or not whether i felt like it or not whether i was inspired or not had to every day. Sit down and generator. And i met the deadline. I sent it to him. And then i think on thanksgiving i was at my mother's and i got an email from them saying look i'll send it over. Actually other book came about man. That's amazing that's amazing now. Who should read this. What's in it. What will get from it this. This is a book for. It's actually for men and women. I really geared towards men in really towards masculinity. But i think there's feminity masculine ian. Everyone i think everyone You know men and women will get value from it however this is for someone who really wants to have depth meaning her business breath really really generate something that's impactful in their lives and live from a place where they're genuine and authentic and they really want to use their life and the platform of their life to be a contribution into to make an impact on their their lives. Family lives in their community. Also it's for people that when i talk about masculinity and femininity. It's really about learning how to integrate both learning how to immigrate principles of masculinity which are very logical very structured very sound very commitment driven very perseverance and determination integrating that with femininity which is very inspirational loving nurturing compassionate forgiving and i talk about the new man emerging. That's why i title it that way but it's really integrated man or an integrated human beings that knows when to access those properties and principles. And i say this way a in the book. If life is demanding that you bring a hammer and you keep bringing arose. You're going to be an effective and if life is demands you bring a rose and you keep swinging hammer. You're going to be an effective there to and still Conscious and self awareness. It's really knowing. What do i bring this moment. Now what is life calling forth from me. In this moment now is life calling forth. Perseverance determination steadfastness discipline which is very masculine or is life calling forth for me patients. Surrender forgiveness compassion intimacy vulnerability connection which is very feminine. And if life is really calling forth femininity from someone and they're just bringing masculinity to it. Trust me it's going to blow up and if life is really calling for masculinity through disciplining consistency and commitment and we're bringing forth by us surrender and let me just let it go. Let me just see what happens. You're not going to be as effective as you possibly could be. So it's really about in grading those those polarities in those energy so that we're really an integrated human being in the book. I call it. The goal of all that is to be a man who is in possession of himself and a man who is in possession of his emotions a man who is in possession of his purpose his platforms. His voice is responsibilities. These in possession of himself. He's not moved by opinions and trends and fads of the time and and constantly distracted emotional and and reactive rather he's present he's dialed in an effective. He's in possession of his thinking is in possession of his emotional state. he's in possession of his state. Overall that to me is the most effective man is a man who's integrated. I remember when i was a personal trainer back in toronto and train this very successful. Ceo in his his brother was one of the most high powered lawyers on bay. Which is toronto's wall street and in this man this high powered lawyer would bike ride a bicycle to work and this is two thousand and three before you know biking was cool and and he just said he's comfortable in his own skin and it just sounds like it's the same thing and it's certainly something that i've aspired to remember it. Hit me hardest. Man i do a lot of things like many young men did try to impress others. Thought being comfortable in your own skin is a powerful to be. Because you can't be right or you can be showing up by anything and it really really is great. Another thing that people struggle with that you help a men women over commerce to two very very popular problems which are imposter syndrome in lower self-confidence. What are some of the things that you take people through some of the mental exercises. Maybe a success story or two an anything that we can do at home without the driving. Fifty five hours to montana from the east coast to join you Burr sure the first with imposter syndrome. I think that impostor syndrome has this very interesting rap and i distinguish imposter syndrome from fraudulence. Fraudulent is really deliberately misleading. Someone an imposter syndrome is anytime. You try something new..

"It got abandoned overnight or over the course of two weeks. I found so much peace and solace with just living simply and then i would wake up. We had a black lab. The lab would run outside. Come into my lead to lick my face. wake me up. i walk inside. eat breakfast. Shout and go to high school and that was actually like my whole freshman year of high school. But what i found was how much peace in how much solace in how much sense life actually made the more simple. It was okay. Well what does that mean really. How does it make more sense when it's simple. Why do you say that you know. I think when. I was again at that time. My life was so chaotic with the divorce and with the injury and that my life was so like what my future was. I couldn't believe it was pretty much by worst fear. My parents splitting up. So i was left with all this uncertainty as a kid and yet when i would go outside light a fire watch the seasons in watch nature do. Does things just made sense. Things were slowed down priorities. Were very simple and to me. It be actually grounded me in this really chaotic time of my life and some and it always resonated with me and stayed with me that no matter how chaotic things were getting in life which was typically man-made or self inflicted through my belief systems our thoughts or what. I thought i needed or what. I thought i should accumulate whenever i would get outside. Get in nature slowdown. It would help me recalibrate. What was really important in life and what was really priority. So so you go to montana for college which will get in june second and then you take a job in corporate america. How did this happen so the way. How does this happen to all of us where we know better in all of the sudden we end up down a path that you know quote unquote doesn't make sense. It seemed at the time incongruent for sure. Well the way. I got out to montana was it was in the ninety s and a river runs through it had just come out and legends of the fall had just come out and i was like man. This place looks amazing. Look just the landscape itself. So i actually one summer going into senior year of high school. I took a trade from new york city to san francisco out. Seventeen years old. I still to this day. Have no idea how my parents let me do this. And then i Backpacked in the sierra nevada's back on the train went up to seattle and then from seattle was taking the train through the night and i woke up in glacier national park montana and i thought i died and went to heaven and i spent time in montana. Glacier got back on. The train was gone for thirty something days. When i was seventeen. When i got back i was so in love with montana. I wrote i applied to one. School had never seen it. All i news is missoula montana. Got accepted bought a pickup truck and drove across the country to school. I had never seen before. So i could be part of that landscape and i spent my four years there and then a semester in rome italy. So that's how i got out. There and fell in love with landscape fell in love with it there and then got out of college and i was out of college for three days and my aunt was in town celebrating from florida. I was back in new jersey. And she said you know you love to travel in your uncle who she had used to be married to. They divorced the euro is born. He owns a travel company. Let's swing by there. Let me introduce you to so. I'm out of college for three days. I'm in flip flops in bathing suit. I'm on my way to the store. And i walk into my uncle who had never met. I walk into his office. We hit it off and he said you seem like a great young man. Why don't you come to las vegas with me in two weeks. This is what i'll pay you. And i was twenty two years old and olympic i heard was las vegas era and i came from a family where we always struggled with money. We always lights. Roy's getting turned off. Father was a a great craftsmen. Who was a builder. But it wasn't a very good businessman so we were always living paycheck to paycheck and struggling and my uncle who had just met was incredibly wealthy and he took me under his wing and he. I was really in all honesty. I was very seduced by the lifestyle. I got to travel all over the world. Stay in fancy hotels live on. You know expense accounts and started to happen at first it was like the ideal job. Those twenty something year old young man signal traveling the world as i got older and got more and more responsibility. I realized this really isn't what i want my life to be about more money. I made more responsibility. I got the more trapped. I actually felt so i i came came from a family with no money. And then by mid twenties driving a mercedes benz owned by own home. And i was vice president of his company and he's grooming me to take it over and as i got more and more like i said i got later. In in in my twenties and more more responsibility. I actually felt more and more unhappy and more more unfulfilled. It's still a lot of people like did they get. Is this trap that keeps us in there and what allows people to wake up from you know. I think that we do get seduced a lot of time. By a possibility of accumulating wealth or making a lot of money or status or whatever it is convert that you had an exciting. That's the other thing is i came from. Who knows when the lights are going to get turned off in. My next meal was to you. Know what this is kind of. Nice the but. I also think that there's a moment of disillusionment when you When a lot of people actually achieve what they always wanted to achieve and they associate that with freedom or confidence or prosperity or abundance and they achieve it and they're like wait a second this can't be author is and that started to happen in later in my twenty s. Now i think i think a lot of people actually say you know what. Let me just suppress that. Feeling do what i need to do. And put my life off for another thirty years. I just didn't have or or michael. What they do is will now. They've got mortgage to homo second mortgage. They've got kids college. All the sudden in and so that thing became not a literal prison but a financial prison. There's a lot of trappings right. It'd be it almost becomes an albatross Becomes a frankenstein project now. It owns you at the time. I was single. I was young. And i. I i remember thinking to myself. This can't be my future when i looked ahead. My uncle was incredibly wealthy but he was sick. His health was deteriorating in the gutter. And i looked at. I was so stressed out in my twenties. When i looked to my future is this can't be my future and.

Too high performers hedge fund owners professional athletes. And he's going to help you up your game. alright. Michael welcome to the early to rise. Podcasts is going to be awesome going through in talking about new manned merging and find your tribe and use the man who is his authentic self so much. What happened so he's good to see spend time with you. How long have you been your authentic self. I think it's It's an ever evolving journey. But i really started looking very deeply at my own life. My own existence when i was really young and then i had in my twenties had little departure from that got into corporate. America lost myself quite a bit and then When i was thirty twenty nine or thirty. I started to really reconsider what i wanted my life to be about. And so that's been about eleven. Ten eleven year journey of me really rediscovering who i am and what value i provide a to the world to my clients to my family friends my community so it's about new jersey. Yeah okay so so. Let's let's unpack that forbid first of all. What does authentic self mean to me. It's it's really connecting to the genuineness of of your own human spirit and then living from that place contributing from that place living from a place of purpose a place of meaning and really contribution to myself my life and fellow human beings and then that can that can turn into great business so right a incredibly any unused so you work with some really really successful people will will chat about some of the success stories in men how you help them. But let's go back and let's go back to when you were living in the back of your home in new jersey at age. Thirteen or whenever you did it so you don't walk us through like how did you go down. The thoreau path at such. A young age wizar- life in a event. That inspired you. And what did you learn in your high school years doing this and everybody. Who's listening going. What the heck is talking about. It's just a fascinating story michael. Why don't you tell us all of that. Good stuff you know. When i was young. I always loved the outdoors. I grew up in new jersey which doesn't lend really exceptionally to the outdoors. But i always had. I always had a a deep appreciation for nature and being outside always love being outside. But i was an athlete. Growing up like baseball. basketball is really successful. Athlete wasn't allowed to play with kids my own age. I always have to play with kids older than me. And the would be captain and be like you name it and so my identity as a kid was always as an athlete and then i was being recruited to play for a high school seton hall. Prep actually to play basketball there and at their camp. I got hurt. And i tore ligaments in my ankle at that summer that summer i got hurt and completely lost my identity as a basketball player because i was bedridden all summer. Thirteen got a thirteen going on fourteen summer. Going into freshman year high school towards interesting. I broke my ankle. The same thing going into high school now weird way to start school totally so lost by identity as an athlete. My parents that summer split up. And we're getting a divorce. My brother my oldest brother was moving away to college and my whole life and family unit completely radically changed almost overnight and so did my identity as an athlete. I didn't really know who. I was without that identity so i started reading and i was reading books on nature and henry david. Thoreau and emerson. A native american philosophy and studies. And so but how. But how like would those just the books sitting around your home. Words did you stumble across wanted the library. You know you know what was interesting. Is i had a cousin who is really into survival. Tactics like nature survival tactics any took this course and on his way home he stopped by my house and met up with me and my brothers and he made fire without matches. He learned that that was blown away. I was like you've gotta be kidding. Me i've never seen anything like that. And pun intended like spark this interest in this flaming may as i really want to go into and learn about really living simply and living really close to nature so that whole year. I mean remember hurt and so it wasn't really playing basketball that whole year. I we lived on about an acre and a half two acres of new jersey and i built a structure. I build a tb leaned to outside. And i slept outside in lived outside like thoreau in walden for entire year will in new jersey. And what i would do. Is that ninety s but you have dinner with the famine head out. Have dinner with my mom and my brother for you. Didn't wrap rabbits or something and then eat them yourself right now but i eat inside. I go outside. Make a fire. I get in my lead to. I would read at night by firelight. i'd read emerson. Thoreau the dow dejean of books on native americans and for me this a whole life. That got upended that summer..

We're kind of at the peak of De Santis is approval having reached the bottom? We saw that his disapproval had been pretty high. And you might remember that he was one of the most popular governors in the country before all this, it seems like we're reverting kind of where we were. Pre pandemic based upon the outcome of his pandemic policy. His disapproval is only a 38% once again so Governor De Santis is net approval rating is extremely high in the positive 17. "Allowed or at least attempting to rap eve edwards dean thomaz wrapping a rap contests a lot that that's the epic uh nick dea's rams hoeger you know i know pichai i bids because a human joh a rigs have gotten intuitive at a hospital ryan bed would actually go let's talk to rid rich franklin he called the mgm and just go can average frankly truman rich wouldn't be too pistole body because not many people were given rich franklin attention the difficult let's do it actually deals happy to be on mma weekly radio and it was it was something else and now via turkey calling in the middle of a chinese rest uh all kinds and now you got a fight past fighters just may not want to give you the time of day because it's yeah no good i think that the new generation of fighters don't know what it's like to take fights in barns in the midwest where they're there may or may not be a rule set that is firm in place i mean i've i've gone to so many shows the midwest where you know a guy would get a little bit lippi in the crowd and then before too long he ended up going to his car the hospital with an own one pro mix martialarts record because it would gets thrust in the cage was it wasn't illegal but it was unregulated in the state of minnesota in iowa and wisconsin i think had like fullon pride rules in cages was nuts like he never knew what was going to happen the fighters now that are coming out maybe sometimes the media obligations are a little bit harder for them to especially when he cutting weight like it you've got to be sympathetic to the to those guys that are you know going through a tough time getting ready for a fight early on in their career maybe they don't have it you know down pat yet but it's like there was a time when no one cared about even the best fighters in the world and now people are interviewing you know these guys that are one 102 an out i can understand.

"You know the person that inspired yeah yeah i mean i i only got to meet ryan one time was that you have see fifty nine in a new was such a cool laidback easy going guy i mean mma media hadn't really exploded at that time no one is really like but i don't think that there is ever been a real rivalry between outlets at least i don't think that there has now for the most part even emma man its biggest it's still a nishi thing you know like yes you have the fans come in for big events in polarizing personalities make it seem like it's a big deal but at its core the s the group that makes up mix martialarts on a daily basis it's it's a small unleash group and there's no room for egos and ryan never had nego whatever competition there was it was just friendly yeah i know the bringing of rebel the rock again that was actually a big outside the ufc event yeah and i saw josh an jeff they're covering it as well as some of the guys for weekly you know but at that time it was like those two monster websites were right basically running the show i got along great yeah what i mean yeah sure the each wanted to continue their wind but uh they push one another thing that i'm glad you brought up was brian bennett you know now they have this contributor wing for the ufc and night i think brian at some point should go in that contributor wing yeah no doubt about it i mean he he worked for the ufc like he directly to ten inaugurate a yeah yeah and now you know he joe silva on he okay this show is so big that have him intrigue were discussing something dana would call oh yeah and basically said not not not that's not the way it is is what happened blah blah blah so you know again wild west days access to the president joe civil who didn't do in reason doesn't do interviews same thing and that's where the ufc came up with the rule that only dana was gonna do any risk of sometimes joe actually spoke was on his mind he spoke the truth and sometimes he was in.

"To me that's the titlefight like the winner that could legitimately lay claim to being top three top five in the world at 170 to have rampaging cheil on i could get it from a marketing standing while mcdonald what he can say iberia woodley exactly actually claimed to be number one so to answer your question i believe that the titlefight if you don't if you're as a promotion aren't making your titles sacred then the i i think you're you're not doing euro promotion justice and look i know the fire back and say well look the sonnen named the rampage they mean something this grand prix it means something but we don't have a champion just yet you're in the process it's just a quarter finals for crying out loud and you can stop put them on the poster and do whatever and market them a certain way but i think that the last two that walkout should be the ones that have already no one guys bled the whole under the title and the other guys had a a championship drive were entitled world cup you don't watch the third and fourth place game at the end right we want even if it's germany brazil and the world cup finals algerian i'd say right exactly it's about the organization that itself the nfl even gets you know they want the patriots you know they want yet minnesota philly both have you know rape following so that doesn't matter as much but you know they want the patriots but if jackson will jacksonville winds jacksonville to the super bowl it works out yeah but i mean here's the problem mix martial arts is always a blend of sport in entertainment in is not sports entertainment it's not quite pro wrestling but the the business model the marketing of it is in that's why i think we're getting it this way.
