"Is a business asking for proof of vaccination a hip violation. It is not a hip a- violation the. There's a lot of confusing around. What as in is not a hippo violation. But that certainly is not but as we've been discussing in this conversation. Some businesses have been legally banned from doing so by legislation passed across the country. So you're gonna see as with everything in this pandemic you know. Everything is to some extent. State run and local of businesses are even allowed to ask for proof of vaccination and david using any indication we might see more state level mandates requiring proof of vaccination for you to go into certain businesses or to participate in certain activities. That gets tough trying to tell private business. What to do that gets into all kinds of legal issues. I don't know if you'll see state mandates because the politics of it are still evolving. You still have. I think it's three out of four. Republicans oppose bring Mass mandates and even independence. I think are split. So there's still political issue there. I think from what i heard. Just at the capital of this past week what could drive a mandate or new laws. Is this idea that children are being affected that gets into a whole different political round. Forget polls forget everything else if you start getting data anecdotes about children getting sick or children who can't go to school. That is a whole new level of politics. And i think that could help. Spur some mandates or laws or policy or whatever. Well one of you tweeted this. I know a lot of people who don't want the covert vaccine until they get full. Fda approval once that milestone is hit. They will absolutely get the vaccine phil tweets. There is no way accesses an issue for anyone but laura emails. This one of your guests said access was pretty much taken care of and in some places. The health departments were going to people's homes. vaccinate them. this is not the case in rural missouri. Lauren do we see any divide especially when we talk about rural places in america where access might still be a problem. Yeah i know. I mean as i noted earlier access is an issue depending on where you are but hesitancy is is much more likely to be the larger issue but in rural health departments which are overloaded with cova cases or overloaded with the fact that they've been running ragging on covert for the last eighteen plus months. They may not be able to to door like a dc health department. So i mean. I think as we've said throughout this conversation you know it very much depends on where you are lauren. What are you watching most closely in the months ahead you know. I think i'm i'm just watching to see what happens with these cases i mean. We're we're watching them explode and different and vaccine parts of the country and i'm curious to see if we will in the us fall. Which is president biden. Said i want to pass all of this agenda and it was all kinds of infrastructure. It was what he's called human infrastructure. Which is more childcare money. Things like that elder care money and then it was also the roads and bridges and the way they decided to do it was to split it up and so now what you have is. You have a bipartisan bill. Which folks have gotten behind the senate and then a promise that we're going to have something that is more partisan that is much larger. That is three point five trillion dollars that will be passed through budget reconciliation which means that just the democratic votes are needed to pass it and so this is set up this battle between moderates who just passed this infrastructure bill and progressives who are really putting all their hopes on this massive budget bill and putting all kinds of things in there that they just couldn't get into the bipartisan bill. And so you've got them. Sending letters to nancy pelosi. And they're saying things like we're not gonna vote on one bill until the other bill is done and it's a little bit of a deterrent right now between these two groups in the house. Now that it's come to nancy pelosi. What at the heart of the conflict even things first of all the sheer size of the Three point five trillion dollar bill even though much of its paid for it would still by all estimates increase the deficit number one number. Two the idea of expanded government one thing. We learned ten years ago when the healthcare obamacare passed. Is that you go out and talk to people. And it wasn't so much that they oppose the details of obamacare but they oppose the idea that somehow government was growing bigger and seemed to be an intervening more in their lives. And that's what makes us a tough sell in swing districts it looks like government is being more intrusive than ever that somehow the biden administration's is just expanding beyond all reason. That's a very tough sell. I think in the end and the ends not gonna come by the way till thanksgiving or christmas time. The people to watch here are the speaker. Nancy pelosi and the president because for all this talk about moderates and progressives and this and that these are two veteran dealmakers. They know how to get things done. I mean look what happened with the infrastructure. Bill in the senate who would have thought you'd find What was it a sixty nine. Thirty vote To get this thing passed they know how to build coalitions. It's gonna be painful and there's going to be a lot of roadblocks including one beginning a week from monday when the house comes back but neto watch those two and how they operate here i mean so what do you think might break the impasse. You know. I wish. I knew i think in the end. I think they're going to have to come down from that. Three point five trillion number and. I think the moderates are going to have to let that one go. I at least the shell of the bill. Go i because i think and again this is not based on you. Know any knowledge on instinct. I think in the end Pelosi is going to say to the democrats. Look we have to hang together. We only have a five seat majority in the house you see. We can't afford to lose this and be fractured And i think they'll figure out some way to hang together but it's gonna to take time..

Three people in Northwest D.C. attacked by rabid raccoon
"Rabbit raccoon attacks three people in northwest DC. Now, wasn't a politician. I mean, they're talking about an actual like raccoon, and it was on Sunday morning and attacked three people and to pets and now the only to get their preventative treatment because this viral infection is deadly DC. Health officials said the raccoon had been sighted in the vicinity of thirty second street and Brassica avenue following the attacks which took place across DC's Chevy. Chase the neighborhood. I guess it was a Chevy Chase Abraham in DC animal control officers captured the animal round two on Sunday. Apparently DC health department said in a news release after originally saying the incident had occurred on Monday. So they got this DC it takes a while to figure out what's going on. They say the animal was promptly euthanized. So they add to kill the animal, but they didn't nicely and lab testing the following day confirmed that the animal had indeed been a host to the rabies virus. Now, the reason why rabid animals attack is because when the affection hits the brain they start to lose their mind. And they're in pain and they're uncomfortable. And they don't want to be touched. This is why we always warn everybody. Even if you just see a dog sitting there, they're not gonna be foaming at the mouth and googly eyed all the time. Yes. Rabid dogs, can hyper salivate, but. A rabid dog doesn't necessarily have to have been to slide on the wrath. So you go to a dog that you don't know going. And that dog can unfortunately, the rabbit stay away from the dog or the cat or the raccoon. What happens is the virus gets them through a bite. And then it finds nerve it travels up the nerve into your neurological system. So rabies is throughout the US raccoons appear
