"What invites would you offer to me for starting to get better with quantitative inquiry and then same question re qualitative inquiry with quantitative inquiry the best i have vice forgot on this it sounds really simple was to read statistics for dummies and learn how to do confidence levels and it sounds like kind of simple and funny but it really is because if you have like a basic grasp of statistics then you can actually draw conclusions from the data right if you just look at conversion rate by itself that doesn't actually tell the full picture of like the health of your product in what's going on there and so if you can kind of like extrapolate that utter like are the changes that we're seeing in this conversion rate over time from daytoday like are those normal is this is indicative of some bigger trend that i like really need to look into and so it's like that kind of inquiry that i think if you can start to grasp can be really really helpful in the same thing with confidence intervals which you just when you have any bi tests right there some margin of error that you have to account for their miscount the same thing when you hear like polls in politics where it's like was within the margin of error is that same idea and so when you're presenting ab test like you'd have some certainty of which variant one rather than looking at just what was the exact observed outcome in that experiment and that's actually something i've seen people at a bunch of different companies do is they forget to do those confidence intervals and they think one particular experiment one and then they roll it out and they didn't see the change expected and so those are like two different things it's great i love practical accessible go to this store by this book study hard what about on the qualitative side because i think this is in my experience in a lotta ways it's harder because it it comes down to communication skills comes down to.

Kyrie Irving might rest 'aching' knee before playoffs begin

"Great young players he's still young as you said wouldn't you imagine that they're being extra cautious with him giving the playoffs being around the corner as they should as they already get their seed locked up if they get arrested him two weeks rustam two weeks ten in is the type of thing reading about it on online saying what what are the players have done it's the type of thing that rests is probably the greatest anecdote for that well and yesterday agent warden ascii reported that his soreness is no more than tendinitis and he'll not need to miss any significant time and easing even as of now he's considered daytoday rub some third on it meaning it's not anything structural solar and naming hail they've played sixty something games you know anyplace minutes i mean you need gonna get so or i don't i i would i would i would worry about it unless there's some kind of structural thing or if there is i think you're being a little too scary on this i always scared of injuries i always do it's what can prevent players from achieving their greatness sweats paul was always a concern with kristaps porzingis it's always the concern i think i think medical it's like with the nba draft you're probably not going to draft the guy let's get to look at his medical records it's the most important thing so yes i am very worried about that with any player when they have especially lower body injuries let's talk about the as tournament starting this week and the fact that this is great scouting time right because so many of the you know the last couple of years full wasn't involved in the ncaa tournament simmons wasn't involved in the ncaa tournament and yet when you look down all the outside of luca danni which obviously plays overseas virtually everybody that is predicted to go in the lottery is going to be involved in this nc double a tournament i think i think actually all of that hank goodness yeah i don't think there's anybody that's not going to be there you know trae young i swear when they came out as a ten seat on sunday i was like what in the hell i've been.

"I have some general kit bender thoughts on anxiety i've never been diagnosed with an exciting disorder anxiety is something that i've experienced like all people but never in really extreme way but i was trying to find the best way for my my brain to understand it and i'm gonna actually bring us back to what i talked about in a previous episode about how our bodies as humans have been around for a long time and they have all the same chemicals in them now as they did when we basically lived in the wild and so we have a lot of potential things that can flood our brain that we don't have to experience in daytoday life because most of us live comfortable lives were not about to get attacked by a bear thank god but i think sometimes something happens in life where the valve that turns all of those things on turns and all of a sudden were were flooded with that and the way was thinking of it is like a fire hose where there's a fire ends at some point our brain is like oh we gotta put out this fire and it just turns all the way on and you've got this fire hose it which is full of water in it puts out the fire but you know the if you can imagine those firehoses used by the by the fireman giant hosing can majan yourself on the end of it sometimes if there's a lot of water coming out of it that hoses really really powerful and sometimes we can maybe forget the source of the thing that was like triggering that thing we just get caught up just trying to maintain control over this flood of if things of a motions that are coming into our reality and i think we have a couple options of what to do with this excessive amount of water i think the first thing we can do is we could look for more fires we can get caught in maybe that trap of we've got all this water and we successfully put at one fire and so we start saying oh the ho's is still going i need a baby just look for other.

"There's definitely little to be said alike your your daytoday experience is partier business so you kind of have to treat it like a business would treat the anything else that they do a neil like i don't really have an example right now but businesses invest money to save themselves time or to make processes less awful and it might not feel frugal if you're doing that with your daily life but if that's part of your business like you travel a lot that absolutely do it if you can now and frankly just like what's the point of having money if you don't spend it on things that make your life better and my we stop being hungry makes our lives said wash worth so that we gets a if we're drive in where like whoa were both really hungry like it's time to eat and we don't have tightly we could pull over and cook a meal but that's gonna take half an hour like we'll just stop at this grocery store and will go to the deli counter and would get some saligan i big splurge for us that they agree alike at would be it was that we couldn't afford to buy deli counter also be i got ta israel calling are undecided ride making lost any change hit mayo may organs verandahs it's going to be awesome ethnic splurge gas station brito punched oh man will you guys years of an amazing life series of i am i'm obviously there is there is downsides twitter's frustrations there's awful hotel people but leg of fallen instagram now and it seriously awesome and i mean like it makes me want to go stir mountainbiking gun i never to series as you as the but i used to have one and it was really fun to go out and do it so go on her in our oh so yeah i'm in i'm in denver so i'm going to denounce ouro around like ground air yes there is so i only own a road bike right now so i go cycle quite a bit like just on roads and stuff but i would love to maybe.
