Martha Zoller: The Early Voting Looks Good for Herschel Walker

"You would think that he would have done well in those red areas so that he could campaign in places like metro Atlanta and pick up some of those independent voters. If you look at the map by county, basically from I 20 south, he only ran two points behind Brian Kemp. From I 20 north, not counting the metro counties, but like when you get up into north Georgia in hall county in Dawson county and Cherokee county and union county and oconee county and Walton county, he ran like 6 points behind governor Kemp, all the rest of the counties up there he ran about four points behind. So he had a lot of work to do, but gosh, the early voting looks good, and then tomorrow they're predicting rain. So I don't know what that'll do to the turnout. But we'll just have to see. But I think we'll know fairly early how this is going to come out. Like 10 o'clock. So Martha, so people in those counties, they went and they voted for Brian Kemp, but are you saying they did not vote for rehearsal walker? Right. That's correct. Wow, any indication, I mean, has the campaign been given any indication why that is and what they need to fix that for this runoff? Well, there were roughly 200,000 voters that did not vote for Herschel Walker that voted for Brian Kemp. But the gap between walker and Warnock was only 35,000 votes. And you know, if I'm Rafael Warnock and I out my opponent four to one, and I only got 35,000 of those more, I would be unhappy about that. He knows that he's got an uphill battle both Warnock and walker. Polls are saying 52, 48, but ten years ago, we had three week runoff the last several. They've been 9 week runoffs. I don't think anybody knows what a four week runoff looks like Todd. So what I'm saying is get out the vote. It's in your polling place that you have to vote. It's not where the early voting was. Get out and vote. Don't assume your neighbor is going to do it. Get out and vote and bring your Friends and neighbors with you.

"Thing, too, is that our natural parks are home and habitat to more than 400 endangered or threatened plants as well as animal species. And when you're visiting the National Party's going to keep an eye out, because you may see some of that wildlife and you're seeing them in their natural habitat, and some of that really wildlife, you might want to try to stay clear and remember, it's the Bear's house, not yours. Yeah, I do not want to run into a bear in the National park. I mean, I want to see it like way way, way way away. I want to see one but not concept. All these people that want to take selfies with bears and alligators. I don't understand. I just really don't let it too close for comfort. Yeah, a little bit. Now, young, so next to the park is whether it is very, very popular and it is a super volcano and I didn't know people know that it is also responsible for three of the world's six biggest volcano. Eruption. Really? So yes, Yes, Yes. So I didn't know that either try to get a little research. I was like, really? Because you just don't hear that part. You just hear how beautiful it is to go to go to Yellowstone National Park And, um the Grand Canyon, of course, is one of our national parks. And it is because of the Grand Canyon. So exactly one of the seven natural wonders of the world. So that is one. I think that's on a lot of people's list to go and see that one. I've never seen it. My wife has been there, but I have not. I'm looking forward to it. Yeah, And you know, it's one of those words to do you really want to prepare because it is so popular, So you want to make sure that you can get in at the time that you want to while you're there, but you know another great one that, um it's name gives it away is Arches National Park, which is, um, filled with a lot of stone arches. And it is the largest concentration of stone arches in the rural. That's pretty pretty cool to match naturally formed arches. Naturally formed one. Yeah. So very fantastic to go and see those because again, you're seeing things that are in nature that are just kind of unique and very special to us here in the United States. Yeah, I'm not familiar with that parks off to actually take some look at that and put it on the list. Yeah, Beautiful, Beautiful. Now. Another one to that, you know, his name gives it away is Everglades National Park and 25% of Florida's original. It's called really subtropical wetlands, but we call it the ever grades is protected as part of that that part so that's a fun one to to go and check out and it's not too far away. Either have been to the Everglades. I will just tell you this if you if you go to visit, make sure If you want to get in the Everglades, you take go with a guide. Because every every tree looks the same. You'll never get back out. I know it's amazing to think that you can get lost in the immigration, but you're right about that. You definitely want to go with a guy. Now, let's uh week before when I talked with you guys. I was in Colorado and I have a chance to go to the Rocky Mountain National Park. And there is the trail road there that is, uh Highest, continuously paved road in the United States. And when I say breathtaking views and vistas, you definitely want to do the whole route and go all the way up to the top. There a couple of areas where you are, you know kind of holding on to the to the door handle now, making sure that us staying in place, but it's beautiful and it's definitely worth the full drive. That's the one of the ones where you want to let somebody else drive up and then you can drive down and whoever's driving doesn't look at anything but the road. Then you can look at the scenery. Otherwise you might drive off the thing. Yeah, Yeah. You definitely want to take those stops. There are lots of little pull off points where you can stop and take polos are just, you know, take you into seeing and take care of those missiles and years, but Cause you don't want to miss it. And I would say also, too, if you're a little nervous was driving to those kinds of situations like you said. Maybe go with someone who's from the area tour guide to someone who can take you up there because it can be a little little interesting, especially the winter to I want to drive it in the winter. A lot lot of great information on our national parks. But before we get out of here, we're running out of time here real quick, But Georgia. We've got some great things to see. And we talked about some stuff out west. We talked about the Everglades. But what about right here at home? Well, one of my service and I recently visited is Cumberland Island is one of the national seashores and it is home to the snowy white eat grid that actually made it on the back of, uh of the U. S. Senate state quarters a couple of years ago, and you often to see the wild horses there that freely roam the island. But, you know, talking about Georgia George is quite unique because we have 12 national sites. Here in Georgia, everything from historic site in Andersonville, the appellation National Scenic Trail, The Chattahoochee River is considered a national recreation area, so there's a lot to see him Jimmy Carter National Historic Park, Kenesaw Mountain, So there's a lot here that as right here in Georgia You don't have to go so far to participate in one of the National Park Service's site. That's right. You don't have to go very far to be able to enjoy great travels with the need. As a matter of fact. Just stay with us this weekend. She's back at it on Saturday one. Where are you taking us? Well, I do something really unique. I went to the Brunswick Islands a couple of years ago up in North Carolina, and I had a chance to go to what is called the kindred mailbox where people actually go there To go to that mailbox and write notes or write messages or letters are just to take in that post scene in the feeling this, I'm going to talk about that. And the man who started it very interesting, fascinating. Looking forward to it again. One o'clock this Saturday here. On Wdun. And of course, if you want to do a little traveling and go to one of our favorite places, Sapelo Island, the bird houses are still available, but I guess booking up pretty quickly. There. Yeah, we're booking up pretty quickly, but there are still some opening. So you know, Check it out. Give us a call, and we'll get your book in one of those. And is that a national park? But there's a state park is there but it's a treasure for sure It is a definite treasure. Anita. Thanks for being with us this morning. Thanks for taking to so many great places and looking forward to finding out more as we get into it this weekend. Sounds good. Thank you so much. You guys have a great day You two are at 6 52 at North Georgia's News Talk WD forecast looking good for the weekend. We'll get to that. And the drive after headlines. "Here we are with some clouds. 62 in our studios on Thompson Bridge Road 78 later and winds gusting to about 15 is a day Where is on we're seeing winds about 58 miles an hour right now. The major. Just nice, cool breeze to start out. Good morning to sit there. Were you coffee on the front porch and enjoy your morning on Main Street. Thanks for doing that. Now. I just hate to tell you say this had a good listener, John there in Oakland. He said. Please tell me what I just read is not true, John. I wish I could tell you that it was not true. But it is true owners of the varsity of applying to tear down the restaurant there in Athens. It's been there. Since 1932 current building has stood since 1965 other the varsity has been an ethicist 1932. In 1965, where it is now is where it's been, and I can remember living in Athens is I know a lot of people do and there was the varsity it landmark. It's as a guy who is directionally challenged. It was a great navigating point. Because the new are awas when I got to the bar, Stan, who had to get around But they are going to tear it down. They say This is project's been a long time coming this article coming to us from the Athens banner Harold quoting here where they write that Athens Clarke, commissioner Melissa Link said a serious of events over the past several years. Wanted to the eventual demolition of the restaurant, which of course owned by the Gordon family. Quote. This is been a project that's been a long time coming. We've known the inevitability the demise of the varsity. Length. This whose district includes where the restaurant is. Host of residential property surrounding diversity and historically black community. After link took office and night 2015. She said she noticed the restaurant owners were buying the adjacent properties. Suspected that the owners were laying plans for new commercial development. The commission eventually placed a hold on demolition of those properties. You know, Some of those properties have historical significance in the black community there in Athens, so they're wanting to work toe preserve some of those Now they are going to have a public hearing. About the demolition coming up July 13th. Like said she intends to lift the hold on demolition several weeks and she wants the public to be aware and prepare for the demolition of the varsity. I don't feel comfortable just letting the bulldozers roll in without some opportunity for the public to at least know what was going to happen. Okay, so they have a public hearing just to tell you what I just told you, but it's not going to make a difference if you don't like it. As of last Friday to sail the property had not been finalized, according to thank successors website, however, links that she understands the Atlanta based development company. Fuckwit Development will be the new owners of the site once the varsity is removed. Now the developers could end up building a grocery store on the same property that's not definite. Fuckwit development did not immediately respond to the requests. They say other things could be built there, including a quick quick serve. Auto repair shop or that sort of thing. There's also been thought of a distribution center for RV sales are self storage. So there you go. All sorts of things have been proposed for that site. They say maximum height of the building constructed can only be 65 ft. But the bottom line for all you varsity folks is the fact that the varsity Is going to be torn down in Athens. And this is the story actually has been brewing for a while. Some folks knew about it Some didn't John obviously no quit. It's not aware of this, but just passed that on to you, and I just read his post, he says. After 56 years in Athens, the varsity is going to be demolished. This has to be the most depressing news I have heard in a long time. Uh, yeah, We talked about it last week. And, um, you know, I just can't talk about it, Bill. I know so many memories of you J football in the fall and the varsity that basketball. I mean, we listen. I grew up in Atlanta close to the Varsity Jr. That was just was taken down should take destroyed. That makes it so dramatic, but that was taken down several years ago. That was sad for us who's on Lindberg, Cheshire Bridge and just a couple of miles from from where I grew up. We always ate there. And then this In Athens. I mean, I have pictures of my girls when they were old enough drinking their first frosted orange, both of them and So So, are they planning on building another way? Because in their article, it does not say they're just totally going out. I think so. Wow, Esso, the original site in Atlanta will be there. There is one in Dawson County. It's okay. But it's drive thru only right now. So there wasn't there a junior also and going out all the way down. There is one there was one in Lawrenceville car, not Lawrence Hill. But nor across, I guess right off Jimmy Carter. I don't know if that's still there. I've only been to that 11 time. I've only been to that one. Been out a couple of times. It just didn't have the same atmosphere is Atlanta and happens. You know, we had to take a field trip somewhere called field trips and we were in band and you would go for clinics and things like that in Athens because they often have the university. You know that was, you know, you always had to stop by the Duncan Donuts on the way in in the mornings and the varsity on the way out in the afternoon. Otherwise you had a riot in the bus, so Let me tell you, You know how good diversity is a young man who is a contemporary of my youngest daughter. He's big Georgia Tech fan. But we went for a church event in Athens at one point and my husband said mad If you'll say go dogs, I'll buy you add varsity hot dog and the child said Go dog! So that's how I mean it. Just it'll make you commit treason. Yeah. Maybe we should use that it get Mo to get the information out of a terrorist or a chili dog from the varsity. Yeah, he jumped ship. Wow. So that's the good stuff. Just a moment. So that's why it it it is depressing. I agree. We were with my my son's class somewhere when he was in elementary school, or do they call it that still, um, our junior high middle school. Whatever it was, we know he didn't go toe. Middle school. He went toe. Okay. Were the public schools? He was He went elsewhere. Yeah, but in elementary school, they went on some field trip. We ended up in the varsity there too On don't know if that was that wasn't the gist of the trip. But I think the kids were more interested in that. Of course, they were in anything else. And quite honestly is a chaperone. So So much better than some places you can go. It's true, Mr Variously and, hey, it's there's a lot of history there. Okay, lot of history there. Yes, but sorry to say John Merrick would. It is true Thank you for coming to us to get it confirmed And we wish we could say otherwise. It's 7 50 to you, Do you? "Put power back in your shower. This is Scott Roberts for fast, reliable service business online at Col. Roberts plumbing dot com. It's the place where everyone's a neighbor. It's mornings on Main Street, with Bill made on AM by 50 and FM one or 2.9, wdun. 6 45 burning it up into a brand new day. Glad to have you along with its gonna be a nice sunny day temperatures in the seventies Gonna feel good today. All right, so as it worked into today, Let's take a look at what's happening as you work into the weekend because every time it's time to check in with John Clark, who joins us from Georgia News Network and Focus this weekend, is Georgia focus and coming up on Sunday with a brand new show. So what's our focus is weekend, John Well, we're gonna be talking about the Abbey DeLoach Foundation. Now people will recall this horrific tragedy back in 2015 when five nurses From Georgia Southern work, You know, in a just a horrible crash on I 16 they were coming from Savannah and they were they were nurses from Georgia Southern and added a lot's was one of those Father. His name is Jimmy Golos. He started a foundation in her memory, and they raised money for scholarships for four people for nurses and also Other some other locations as well and to help nurses and other medical personnel go overseas and work in very, very poor areas where they have no medical care. And we have Jimmy on this weekend and also a nurse name Ronnie Lee. And he is, uh, he's from Savannah. He's a nurse, and he's one of the first recipients of one of those scholarships. That's fantastic. I'll tell you, we have a great need for folks in the nursing profession there. There's a big need right now and even code. Put aside. We had a need prior to that. But it's a great profession. I've mentioned this before. My brother was a nurse. Hey, did that for a little over 10 years loved the job on it's It's more of a calling that I think that it is a job special people to do that. Yeah, Really. Woz. He really is. My mother was a nurse up until about four years ago when she retired, so she she was a nurse for scouts. I don't even know me having a long time, eh? So, Yeah, so it's very, very important what they do, and And that was such a horrible accident and it was, you know, that was a nationwide story The time Jimmy says, You know, he he doesn't want folks from the accident. He knows his daughter died, and he knows that she's in a better place, and I don't want to focus on the actually kills it that in the show or her death But I won't put make a positive out of it, and I want torto her memory and move forward and try to help other people and he's a really interesting guy. He's a former football coach. Football coach. Georgia Southern and he's uh He's just a great guy, great personality, and that comes out on the show this week, So I think you'll immediately take it and listen to Jimi DeLoach in his story, and he really just feel his his heart for helping people. That's fantastic. When you could take such a tragedy and turned it is such an opportunity for other people on dot only for just that one person who is the recipient. But all the people that that person is going to effect going forward and nursing and helping that that's just fantastic. So we got to show for you coming up this weekend. Check it out at 10 35 Here on 94 5 FM. The lake that's our FM station over there. So check that out. And before I let you go, we were talking about best or worst barbecue places in America. That bogus list that chefs pencil put out. I just got a curious back from where you're from, and you're from down south Georgia Dawson, right? Yep. Dozens? Yeah. Alison, not Dawson County. Dawson, Georgia of Harold County, Georgia. There you go. Now. You're telling me that I was asking you back home? What were the barbecue joints there? What? What? What was great. You're telling me that lot of are gone. You have Ottoman. Not there anymore. There were few down there now, and a lot of my golf is the best one was a place called Pull. Another in the place was called Kersey's barbecues, Person and the Kersey's Our family outside of Shellman, Georgia, which is the next town over. And they made barbecue and you go their place and pick it up. Or they would pick it up in a local store or cater large events. You know, like farmers would have a big event or something. They cater that, and that was the best barbecue ever had. So that was just somebody doing it on their house. Basically, they restaurant they had a little doing picking up and I'm sorry that they were in the country to wasn't like their attack doesn't in town about it. If he had a gun. Yeah, and I actually had. This was back last fall. I had the worst barbecue had ever had. And it was a place in Spartanburg, South Carolina, was absolutely inedible. We gotta put a crew out of here. Terrible. That is pretty bad. I mean, I've had some barbecue. That's not been the best, but I've never gotten that walk away. That's okay. That Z The thing is, they're all these locals in there was fact and they were eating it just like we thought it was. You know, the best thing in the world and I like what it was. It was really bad. You need to invite him to Georgia. Tell them where the real stuff is. Exactly. All right, John. Good to hear from you looking forward to the show this weekend. Hey, Jim Palace, probably one that I got a pleasure of meeting him on a couple of occasions and we interviewed him back when the pandemic broke out about what was going on. And just a super nice, approachable guy. Humble. He's been so successful and, you know, he'll tell you guys I just wanted to broadcast baseball and I have been so fortunate, blessed to be able to do what I love to do, and he does it at a very high level. How Moonshine Works

"First use of Moonshine the English word goes back to the fifteenth century literally meaning shine of the Moon and figuratively figuratively quote appearance without substance pretense or fiction and the first time it was used to refer to liquor that didn't occur until the eighteenth century England and it's specifically referred to illegal or smuggled alcohol. That's why the name because smugglers use the cover of night to smuggle their goods which didn't necessarily have to be moonshine yes but but <hes> smuggling alcohol was common in Europe at the time and smugglers had only the shine of the moon to guide their pass moonlight was sometimes used in the same sense <hes> as moonshine was until the nineteenth century a yeah and for a while there any job or activity that was done late at night might be called moon shining or moonlighting but eventually moonshine nine came to really basically mean booze and booze related activities and moonlighting came to mean that other thing that moonlighting means. I totally forgot about moonlighting yeah. That's true I I remember because it was a company any stipulation that you couldn't moonlight and I had to get a thing that I could that movie anyway. There's actually a folk tale from the time about a group of smugglers caught in the act of raking the pond pond Abe bond aunt for barrels of smuggled French Brandy <hes> than they were caught by some tax collectors in the middle of the Act yes and thinking on their feet. The smugglers pretended to be a group of confused drunk people trying trying to rake in the moon's reflection or in their drunken parlance cheese yeah yeah there were like nod dude. We're not there's no certainly barrels of brandy in there. We're just trying to get the sweet cheese out of this pond rea- so drug rug this bulletproof ploy obviously worked and the clippers labeled the smugglers as moon rakers win about their merry way. I'm sure laughing about all those silly drunk. People and Moonshine was often typically. We made night in hopes. No one would see smoke from the stools yeah <hes> it got its start in America in green producing states like Pennsylvania yeah immigrants from England and Scotland and Ireland who settled in Appalachia brought there whiskey recipes with them and adopted them for whatever grains were they were growing around here right and instead of letting excess green go to waste producers distilled it not only could you drink or maybe sell this stuff but in some places it was an accepted currency it could be the difference difference between surviving and not a big economic <hes> <hes> may not staple but but site game it was so in seventeen ninety one when the U._S. government you know seeing all of this implemented the whiskey tax in an effort to pay off the cost of the revolutionary war. <hes> people were happy about it. No no also thinks to this for letting me once again. Look up the Alexander Hamilton sound job because they say in their. Air Jefferson there's a cabinet and he says when Britain tax our T. we got frisky. Imagine what's going to happen. If you GONNA tax on Whiskey and it was true I mean this was right after the revolutionary war in some people's you you know like like mentality about it was like we just we just went to war about taxation without representation. Why why why are you going to taxes for this now yeah and it was a big shifts from it was basically states? Rice versus versus a federal bank and so we are still figuring out a lot of stuff you renew country <hes> and yeah we talked about this in our Bourbon whiskey episode so yeah people didn't like it. distillers resorted to all <unk> sorts of things to evade tax the point the U._S. Marshal descended upon Pennsylvania coming to collect and his presence was not welcomed five hundred men attacked the home of the local tax inspector general and during the skirmish the group's leader was killed which escalated into a protest made up of over six thousand people President George Washington sent thirteen thousand troops to deal with the situation who yes US yeah. All of this was part of the Whiskey rebellion in eighteen o one the U._S. government repealed the whiskey tax <hes> and this was one of our new countries. I test yeah the whisky rebellion whisky rebellion. We're serious about it yard in before and after this though moon shining really took off in the south tales were told about gunfights between collectors trying to get excise taxes for moon shiners in the eighteen sixties these skirmishes increased as revenuers came around trying to collect excise taxes for the civil war a yeah during an after the civil war times were particularly hard for a lot of Americans and there was again a lot of resentment from people who were scraping scraping to make a living off of things like moonshine towards these taxes <hes> and moon shiners came together with the Ku Klux Klan as this conflict against the tax collectors and crew and several battles ensued as desperation went up Moon shiners became more ruthless and violent in their tactics attacking Iraq members and their families and anyone who they believed may give away the location of a still and this did not India moonshine owners to their communities and the public opinion started to shift towards the negative end when it came to moon shiners at the same time temperance is getting more and more public support yeah in the Georgia Mountains in eighteen seventy six four fifths of the court cases and federal law enforcement focus was on illegal alcohol well yeah <hes> wanted to mention too wasn't just a man's world now no take Nancy and see the moon shiner. She was <hes> in New Jersey in eighteen eighties. Her neighbors largely regarded her as eccentric and I can see why because under the cover of night she would steal <music> apples and use those apples to make what she called Jersey a lightning or applejack okay yes that is a my little pony by the way a detective on her case snuck onto her property but nancy knocked him out and go Nancy. We can't help but root for them. <hes> then there was moonshine Mary a Polish emigrant out of Illinois who made moonshine insult shots of it out of her home for fifteen cents but but she went on to become the first woman in that state to be convicted for selling poisoned liquor and as we've discussed before women were also involved in the transporting of illegal alcohol <hes> there's Willie Carter sharp who gave testimony to the nineteen thirty five moonshine conspiracy trial with diamond studded teeth diamond studied that you know I nothing but respect aspect. I couldn't pull it off. That is about as America as you get. I think you're at a moonshine. You've been arrested well firearms which she was and he was show time Tate Yup yeah you do. You're right. You're right but here we come to the Nineteen Twenty s and prohibition right for Moonshine. This was the best thing that could have happened now that you couldn't buy alcohol Oh by legal means more people were seeking out illegal sources for their booze and Moonshine had been rocking that for for a while yeah already demand was so great moonshine resorted to water down alcohol and sugar-based moonshine as opposed to crane based species with passwords and secret ways to escape in case the authorities ever showed up and organized crime around the smuggling and sale of alcohol flourish yeah <hes> in hot spots like in one <hes> Franklin County Virginia Virginia. It's been estimated that ninety nine percent of the residents were involved in the moonshine trade during this time and so that's a lot of kids as well you know okay okay <hes> during the one thousand nine hundred thirty s moonshine roots from Dawson County which is the big city from where I grew up and our high school rival- they gallons of Moonshine to Atlanta and my very own home county of Lumpkin okay was big and the Moonshine seen thirties and forties as well and also distillers sometimes use the bone from raccoons Venus. Yes they do have bones they do in the distilling process of the man in Dawson. Bill gave me a history lesson and like I said he had one in his hat <hes> and yes like. I said he had previously worked for NASA PRETTY COOL Yeah Yeah. I think that I think the the penis bone is is used to help control the flow of the spirit from the condensing hose into the collection vessel like at the end of the process process. I think that's yeah that's he showed us how to use what it was used for sure. I don't know but yeah I think that was that was it was the right size without right yeah yeah and it's Kinda got this little like s curve IRV shape so so and and sort of a little groove in it where the urethra goes so I I read a surprising amount about raccoon penises during research for this episode never know go well there. You are your life profession. I sometimes I sometimes hope that like some government. Official has to look at my search. My searches someday to just go like Oh dear what oh I don't even know me too. I like to imagine there's one person assigned to you and you're just making their life. Super Interesting disturbed well. You're welcome so back to moonshine right anyway. Business was booming until prohibition was repealed in nineteen thirty three then sales flattened that didn't mean it went away much of the federal government <hes> who tried to wrangle this moonshine situation into the seventies share without these laws prohibiting alcohol although there are still dry counties and they're obviously we're back then going to the trouble of seeking out moonshine for the average person just. This wasn't worth it yeah. In order to transport as much moonshine as possible mechanics would find tune their cars upgrading the engine adding in secret compartments for the product <hes> shocks and springs were installed to protect the booze and accounts of oil slicks smoke springs these are called tanker cars and were frequently unassuming nineteen forties fords. I think I read this whole thing about Henry Ford being like a teetotaler rain like being so offended about the yes that's fine and drivers who were also called runners are trippers had to have some real driving know how some sweet news as they say to evade the authorities they also had to know all the mountain backroads well enough to drive them in the dark without headlights. One of their moves was called the bootleg turn a quick turnaround into controls kid eh in their spare time these drivers would work on their skills by racing against each other sometimes at fairgrounds sometimes for pay sometimes with thousands of spectators so okay once prohibition went away and in World War Two ended there was this group of skilled drivers who have souped up cars and enjoyed recent each other who saw that people would pay to watch them race and they were in the market for a new job a Ha so in nineteen she forty-seven this gave birth to ask supposedly the winner of the very first race used the same car to make a run like a week previous. Oh my goodness I love it. I do too. I I had no idea about this when we rolled up that distillery and there's all the NASCAR memorabilia this is interesting but for real moonshine in Nascar are and were tight Raymond Parks Moonshine was the first is to bring together a formal official racing team.
