"You heard matt davor last hour pastor lawyer. Yeah pretty worked up. Why was he worked up because he knows people that have died after getting these jobs because he sees people losing their livelihoods and freedoms over getting something that in real time it were proving with their own data is losing advocacy and yet they're doubling and tripling down on their tyranny. That's some righteous anger right there. And that that passion that anger that you saw from him is why he went to the battlefield while a bunch of other people from organisations. We used to actually support on this show hung around instead in waiting to see these cases we can win. I was actually going to ask more legal wonky questions when i saw. How fired up he was. I decided not to. 'cause i thought you know what you need to see the passion. That's driving him to do this. So what is it that you can't stand. What is it that you said this cannot stand are are are things are is it things terrible grammar. Sorry is it things that your your god given. Those are two totally different standards man but in the end the person who is bearing false witness and breathing out lies like masks our savior's they're not that's the person sowing the discord. Not the one confronting them regardless of the confronted tone. That doesn't mean you can use different tones to be more effective at your confrontation right. But that's a totally different conversation than the edification of your confrontation. Meaning the justification for it tone is regardless. You could argue. I might be more effective communicating. Something in a different way. But that's not what we're arguing here in proverbs. Six nineteen the one who lies the one who sows deception. The one who bears fault false witness regardless of their tone is the one sowing discord. The one who confronts them is not the one sowing discord regardless of their tone. They might be more effective if they did it. A different way depending on the time audience in place but they're not the ones sowing discord and when confronting these things. You don't like my tone. I remind you of the immortal words of the great evangelist. D l moody. I like my way of doing things better than your way of not doing anything. Any thoughts just let Scripture common on scripture. "Promise last week when i introduced charlene's first story edition. I talked to the absolute joy of finding what i thought of as a a street on her blog and blogs by the way aspect within our chats in a moment this on the you'll doing right now as photographer you may not thought about as something that could be precious to the way that you work and the message. Is you give on your website. Here's some food for thought. There's a raft of research out there that suggests we remember things that we see and even touch more than what we hear but we trust what we hear more than what we say. I was reading about a research group split into two groups. Same size groups. Twenty people watched the documentary one room and then twenty. People listened to the same documentary without pitches in an adjacent room. The results well. There was a sense of belief noticeably. More pronounced when the sense of sight was removed. Some suggested a fake news is almost trained out senses to the point where we no longer trust out is some of the research following. The session revealed sentences and feedback like well. It's so easy to manipulate. Picked these days and camera angles But it wasn't a toll that in real life yet. The palpable sense of dismissal was not nearly so pronounced in the audio only room. I find that fascinating that someone who's dedicated a great proportion of his life to sound. But now i'm a photographer. Anima filmmakers to mean a lot. Personally it'd be making kind of supercharged. Slide shows where the audio texture of what was actually happening at the time. I pressed the shutter and both commercially. And personally it's provides a great sense of satisfaction when presenting my stories but we can't all make or even wished to make films even slight says neal i he even when i can't really he still sensing what you'll say to me even imagining your voice to a degree really genuinely so. I was absolutely excited when i visited today's guests. Website moreover blog first time round to hear her talking to me many sites have a way of inserting audio. And if they don't you can always embed sound using services like soundcloud. Perhaps we should do an episode or even film about that at some stage is probably five six years since i visited a landscape photographers website. And please. i wish. I could remember the name of that talented shooter who played out the sound of the countryside. That was the soundtrack to each picture. Honestly i really labored over that site so it makes it all the morning embarrassing. I can't recall the name. It's likely that will come to me at three. Am in the morning so expect to post one day. So i want to ask you. How could you talk to those. Who view your pictures may not be suitable for every application short. But i i bet there's a story you shoot where it would add a version while somebody is digesting. You incredible pitches so to charlene winfred then for the second part in her mini series. We're going to talk a little more today about her. Nomadic life is a photographer and how having a camera making street pictures means. She investigates studies and a muscle and travel. But let me. I return to that blog. Post where i i actually meant charlene and i use that word advisedly. I'd read the about page ad. Spent time looking at the pictures. But this is where i believe i. I met her talking about making pictures. Spring into action. You make it frame. And then another and another and another the minutes took by the wolf aids from a blush to a bruise on the cusp of evenings dusty hugh streetlamps snap on and the night is gone you feel for a moment. The lament of that poet of lost boys and country lanes grieving for the fall of paradise. You drag yourself in your fifteen. Nothing frames home and hope that one of them carries the magic and day that demon that has been summarily banished. I'll leave a link to the whole piece own. Today's charlotte's my guest is charlene winfred. I looked at your site. Charlene for dot com on. I found immediately a posting your journal. That drew me in mainly. Because i don't think i've ever ever visited a photographer site to be treated to poetry and annot you don't call it poetry but that's what it appeared to sound like to me Your moment post evenly just posted. Actually it's fabulous. Fabulous is not going to become something you do more often. That's missing would you do it more often. I love that. That post was really was really just that it was an instagram post end. I've been neglecting my blog. Davor instagram simply. Because i can post on instagram. From wherever eminent only tend to post on instagram. Live out on the train and the bus waiting for something off in the middle of something. Which i don't do with my blog but honestly that spoken piece was just me trying a voiceover set out because i do. I do a little bit. Of course what fault. Phone my job and i just need a. "Issues more suicides when I was in at the start are statistic missing person would be somebody with dementia rounds, climbers and but currently has been high number of a higher number is not like. A daily thing give it. Yeah. They have up mental health and I'm assuming that's given you your own problems because you've still got to work as a team and I would imagine that getting close to the individuals and teams must be a bit more of a problem and also the individual should you find them Absolutely. We've got a wonderful champion in all medical team who is actually a paramedic and he's spent a lot of his free time providing this covert compliance training. And we back face to face training. We're back doing call outs and nobody feels uncomfortable if they did they just put himself cold yet. There are steps in place when we find a missing person depending on. How? The condition that they're in, we've got plenty of covid kit extra to what we normally have plus we've got extra. So if missing person is found unconscious or need CPR, we can add personal protective equipment to the missing person as well as well. You know we can provide a mask and put steps in place. So yeah, he's been brilliant. What kind of qualities that you've talked about got medic on board what kind of qualities do you look for in your volunteers? I. FORGOT TO BE SUPER FIT or. No, we've just done this election day of which I'm lucky to be apart of, and basically we just want people to volunteer. There are mostly everybody is welcome. We take strengths from their weaknesses. So yeah, you just want to do it and and you've got to have time to commit not just full finding a missing person but you we do have to train. We have to find time to train and we have to find time unfortunately to fundraise. We don't get any government funding for the organization tool so. I was GonNa ask you about the training actually kind of. Do we learn how to talk over the radio we learn how to navigate. We do have to have an element of fitness. We have to be able to walk five miles into hours, lots of to day-to-day stuff, but we just hone those some qualifications into being able to search for somebody and communicate with our team and communicate with other -mergency services on notice that you've got vehicles involved as well as going to ask you the fundraising because you must quite a lot of money and we've got. An incident response vehicle and you've got a command unit as well that must take quite a lot of optic. Really. It does we've got a magnificent SORTA fleet team once volunteer in the organization. There are areas that you can go into. If you've got that, we've got some lovely people that work in fleet team we've got fleet change. Who try maintain the vehicles as much as they can house we're very lucky that a lot of garages realized that volunteers sometimes you know they they help us there. But yeah, it's it's It's all down to the money we raised it causes at least thirty thousand pounds a year to just still. So yes, I can imagine it would not is a lot of money to reason actually isn't it and we've had all our fundraising opportunities council Davor during Kevin. So again, we've got a treasurer who has managed to keep our bank balance healthy enough to support us through the last few months so and we've got a fundraising team that now trying to find..
New York City school reopening delayed until September 21
"York is the nation's largest school district. And as of this morning it is still the only big city school district on track to open in person this fall. New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced today that a new agreement we'll push back the first day of school by 11 days. The announcement comes after educator unions had signaled a willingness to strike if their safety demands were not met. A lot was on the line here to work through. But I'm pleased to report that we've come to an agreement to move forward. NPR's Anya Kamenetz has been following all the twists and turns up to today. She's here with us now, Hanya Hey, Mary Louise. So this decision over whether to re opened in person and on campus. It has been so fraud in every school district coast to coast. Bring us up to speed on how this has all played out in New York. So clearly, New York City was hit so hard by the pandemic in early days, and in particular, Mary Louise, dozens of educators lives were lost on DSO. Now, even though over the past few months, infection rates are very low, and most public health experts say the city should be safe to reopen it. Schools with the proper precautions in place. You know, not everyone feels safe. When you have won 1.1 million extremely Davor students more than 100,000 employees. There's a vast range of school building. Some of them are quite old. And so the question of what is proper precautions had become really fraught. And so I've been tracking, you know, street protests by teachers said the chancellor's house, You know, meetings that dragged on into the wee hours of resume. On DH people calling for a delay, which now has been announced. Okay, so they reached this new agreement was announced today. Tell us what's in it. One of the details So, you know, New York City Department of Ed is pushing back the start of school from September 10th to September 21st. And in that time period, there will be union representatives visiting every school to do their own safety checks. Of issues like airflow, and they're introducing someone innovative Corona Virus testing program. It's what's called surveillance testing, so they're planning to Be taking a random sample of between 10 and 20% of the students and adults. In each school each month. This is Dr J. Varma, public health adviser to the mayor, and he spoke to the press briefing today. The medical monitoring program that you're hearing about today is really focused on the people who are physically present in the school. And so, therefore not people with symptoms. So I should point out. This is different from what the city's big teacher union had been calling for, which was to test every teacher and every student before the start of school. You know that that seems kind of unlikely, even in the next few weeks, doing how much all this is going to cost. We're looking at airflow looking at testing. It's a lot It is a lot. It definitely will be chief. It's coming at a time. Of course, when New York City like so many other city states district is hurting for money. In fact, not Mama goes near, City School Chancellor Richard Carranza said. If the city doesn't get a big chunk of federal aid, which the state is sitting on right now, They would be looking at laying off 99,000 employees rather than what they need to be doing now, which is hiring more nurses and substitutes. Just a few seconds left But teachers parents, how did they feel? You know, some are feeling relieved and hopeful that there's more clarity. Others. Mary Louise are still not convinced, and there's a lot to resolve in just a few more days to do it. NPR's Anya Kamenetz reporting Thank you so much. Thank you.
The Encryption Debate Rages On
"So etiquette you've talked about encryption before. Got Fascinated. Encryption in the nineties already, I've been most interested in societal aspects of cryptography lately since I've seen quite concerted attacks against the freedom of businesses and individuals on using encryption, you're doing a horrible job tooting your own horn. You're not mentioning the UK parliament or anything like that at all. I was. Invited by the British parliament actually, they had a giant comet A. When they were deliberating the investigatory powers bill, I can today's so they invited me to to give evidence on encryption and I was happy to. Explain how what they were. Planning to do was horrible. Davor. Nicely listening to are they paid no attention to why opinions? I was also participating in the European Union Commission Panel on. On dual-use aspects of encryption. And similarly to European Commission. noted. That the guy from Finland appeared on, they pay no attention to what I was telling. So I have good track record of. Being listened to, but look necessarily followed or that's all we can. Anyone of, US, can ask for. But. You sound like the right person to briefly summarize what the Christian debate is all about. Technology. And from the mathematics point of view, we have gotten to a point where good quality encryption. is now available and good enough quality would in this context me in that if I choose to protect. Some piece of information and communication with quality. cryptography means. It. Is Too costly for the adversary to try to break. That encryption in. reasonable. Amount of time. So everybody on this planet currently has access to technology and know-how on good quality encryption at this is unprecedented in our times, and of course, this medics. Punch off authorities unhappy because quite many of those intelligence gathering mechanisms and. The law enforcement investigatory methods have being built around the notion that the authorities would be given access to people's. Communication. Day. Regardless of how it was protected. In case, there is a legitimate need to obtain that access If there's a good quality could Covic protections, there's nobody but the actual personal interest that they all started these are now. Tracking, or trying to interrogate. So nobody else would be positioned to decrypt the material sold that makes of course, the authorities have begun happy, and that discussion has been going on for centuries. and. Only now, a small people to sit. And individuals are in a position to utilize encryption without having to ask for permission. Yeah. So like before when when regular citizens tried to encrypt their information so that it wasn't available for law enforcement lawyer I was just like all you sweet summer child and just cracked it anyway but they can't do that anymore implementation. They were either week because the computing power was not that abundant in the past. All they were artificially weak. So they were basically I. The back door, all day were deliberately written. To be faulty so that the authorities would be in a position to crack the conversation open.

organized way good for yes somebody should have been more organized when they were making the purchase is for the Abraham Lincoln presidential library museum in Springfield because I mentioned had gate this is boy this is unbelievable a sixteen month state study has found no new evidence to authenticate that a multi million dollar stove pipe hat purportedly owned by Abraham Lincoln and once displayed at the museum actually belong to America's sixteenth president that's it that's something you should look into a little more to beaver it was a beaver skin it is a beaver skin stove pipe hat this report by Illinois state historian Samuel Wheeler found that the head did not appear to match Lincoln's hat size again if you're spending millions of dollars these are the kind of things I would I would imagine you should have looked at first first of all he found the hat was sold in the fifties to a downstate antique shop for a dollar and it's leaking connection wasn't even known to the descendants of the original owners so now there's if if you go into the the sun times or any anywhere you can see the picture this hat it looks like you know was told by Pat that we've all seen pictures of Abraham Lincoln wearing but not really it all the the study concluded that that more findings are warranted but they put an even heavier dose of skepticism on claims the Lincoln once owned the hat which was purchased from west coast collector for for twenty or like part of a twenty five million dollar hall when they bought all the stuff that was once appraised at six point five million now turns out they just got to party city and so it's not the it's not really worth anything nothing but there's a there's a history behind the head and there's no I'm not I I've become more of a hand gun as time goes on your you had guy Dave sometimes you have a fine had here I wouldn't buy one cover with her with thanks so I usually on the weekends have a some sort of this is Paul cappers are they all in purple and emblazoned with a huge and many of them I I would imagine why not well this hat was supposedly given to a former William Waller during a visit to Washington DC DC by Abraham Lincoln because Lincoln wanted to thank him for supporting the a pro union Republican because in what at the time was a heavily democratic southern Illinois now that story was just on a single piece of paper nobody's really sure now if it's true somebody acquired the head for an undisclosed price from a downstate antique shop where the daughter in law of Walter had sold it for a dollar after the F. nineteen fifty six death of her husband who was a former state Rep so then that got sold to somebody in California for an undisclosed price in two thousand seven the hat was bought by the Lincoln foundation which buys otter artifacts for the museum in Springfield and now it could be nothing nothing nothing nothing but you know it does it does it really matter if you go to the museum and I see a beaver beaver skin still five Pat I'm going to think it was Abraham when I would think so yeah it is and I'm not gonna be heartbroken if it's not I'm gonna figure most of the stuff in there is a recreation you know I doubt that's really his bed it's a beautiful museum I don't know if you've ever been I have not it's gorgeous and it's interactive it's it's a lot of fun I am very educational but you know have a dash three is not to the thing that I need to learn it's it's okay if the head is not to the head is not legit I'm glad I'm not traveling today you we've been reporting all morning about the the ground delays in the fog and I know it started lifting even as I was coming in earlier this morning as you got closer to the city the fall was dissipating it was much thicker when I left the house but this is not this is this a rough day to be traveling I know Friday was supposed to be the busiest day for holiday travel but today I've only I've only had to fly at Christmas time once and we ended up flying on Christmas day which is better my my one of my brothers flies in every on Christmas day but I can't imagine I can't imagine the horrors of trying to fly during the holidays with family yeah Christmas day I have flown many times out for bowl game right and such and and it's actually not a bad day no because most people most people want to get a what they want to they want to be at their desperation by then I flew on thanksgiving day this year it was that was also and a few good eight depending on the time date and the weather yes well there who would have expected first of all that we were gonna have these temperatures and then so everybody to go there should be a breeze were in and out and then the fog rolls in and you can't you can't get anywhere I am not I have when we first got married my in laws were in Michigan so we made the mistake of trying I know you grew up on the east coast but we we made the mistake of trying to hit everybody that Christmas so it was Christmas Eve in Michigan midnight mass then driving home and this was back in the day when nothing was open on Christmas no right no rest or not even McDonald's was open on Christmas back then so we end up but you know we're trying to find something to eat on this drive back we're eating at a gas station one of the you know the roller hi sandwiches yeah you know that's about the best ways Trantor thanksgiving morning with our kids and I yeah we could never find a place to sell there's nothing you know he'd see it's easier now everything's open but we're driving back and then then we'd so we get home and go to my mom and dad for Christmas dinner in the fat by the end of the night we were so exhausted were like this is it we're done we're not no more traveling on the holidays will go you know we we would go to Michigan a little before hand and then we would come back but now it's it's insane and so for all these poor people were stranded at midway in o'hare twenty six flights delayed it midway this morning three hundred thirty six flights delayed at o'hare hopefully hopefully now it's everything's supposed to be lifting by ten the fog was gone and the at the ground stop stop at about eight forty five so hopefully now things will start to get there but if you are traveling today we see everybody tells you this you don't need to be told again but I got some time to kill so I'll tell you make sure you call your airline check with the it well Dave listen it's like every year at thanksgiving when they have all the news reporter standing on the overpass at the expressway.

"In my heart, I used to write down lyrics to song that I found really moving major. It'll and I, I definitely went down the hands down the dashboard confessional and your. Can't kill me. It was just I wanted to be kissed Noah, would kiss me. And that's why I became a comedian. You saying, yeah, were you really late? Bloomer. Oh, yeah. I was I wanted, like I wanted to be sled from like the youngest age. But that just wasn't available to me, because of my like looks like. I had such a virginal stink on me. I think I don't know because I thought looking back, I was super cute. I think I just didn't think I was and I had no confidence, right. And I just wasn't ready. I wasn't I wasn't putting up the vibe or whatever because the opportunity presented itself. Either. So I feel like that. Those are kind of helpful. Yeah. I didn't even have like sex, I still don't like breastfeeding right now. I barely have him. Well, you know what it all worked out though? You have a beautiful husband. Thank you. And I didn't wanna even plug this that soon in. But so your husband, Don finale has an amazing podcast. He does. And, and I didn't have. It's so good. You're episode is so good. It will keep tight. He'll just be laughing himself and be like, Jackie Johnson. So funny like he'll just be like remembering your conversation. Just a plug it for everybody. It's called the need to fail. It's a very popular podcast. You might already listened to it. But it he interviews artists about their careers and the ups and downs like times they failed. Basic, right? Yeah. Yeah. And I was having that was in the middle of my whole marriage ending. Yeah. And I was really, really sad. Yeah. And I fucking somehow still Prester. And had such a fun time talking on. And I love that episode so much, and I got so much random feedback from strangers from people. I know that I didn't know listen to it so everybody check out that episode in chicken that podcast taking them because you don't have a podcast that I can tell you to listen to do you're literally only comedian, I know without one get to them. Yeah. And you're too busy, you know, working hustling, mom and trying to be that baby with your breath cedar with my buddy, and I got to work to pay for when I can no longer feed with my body, right? Yeah. Because babies are free for a while. And then you've got up Davor, right? Those ain't she. They really. Yeah. To say. Yeah. And they go through real quick. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Okay. Well, the first thing I should have asked you is, what type of skin do you have? That's what I'm supposed to ask all gas up at the top. Sometimes I forget. And that's fine. I'm only human and I love myself. It's okay. Yes. I'm so mad. But. Leave. Yeah. Like, you know action. Can ask me I would say the answer used to be oily, and then I discovered oil cleansing years ago. This is like how I dipped my toe into care. And also, then I moved from New York to here and now it's kind of dry and it kinda changed, LA and sucks. The life out of you anyways it sucks, the moisture out of my face. And now it's kind of dry a little a little acne prone. Definitely got the redness going, especially from pregnancy. Got black heads. I got Whitehead's what else I got all the heads..

"Retirement income solutions and David wanna talk a little bit about some of the strategies that are out there, so many times we talked about these, these ways to turbo charge your income, and a big way to do that. Dave is to be efficient on things like taxes educating people on taxes and some of the strategies that are out there. That's a big part of what you. And Brad do. Can you talk a little bit about some of those efforts and some of the things you have coming up big part is right Jen, we have our own tax department? We want our clients to be tax efficient. It's a big deal and for us here at Epstein a wide. We see clients coming in all the time in they're happy once we have gone through their, their return and see all that they're doing where we can save. And, and they were surprised how much we can save. And so, yeah. The taxes are a big deal in, and we could do so much more in retirement. And with that said, Jen, because it is so important to Epstein why we have the opportunity we got the opportunity to be introduced to a gentleman here about three four months ago. And his name is Marty ruby and Marty is a fiduciary excuse me, an actuary Brad Davor, fiduciaries Marty's, an actuary at it kind of jokingly said, that's a, that's a CPA without a personality. Back that got us to laugh at got our own CPA to laugh. We certainly didn't meet offense, but Marty's background is forty seven years in the financial services industry and predominantly spent at giant, life insurance companies, where he was a CEO of a major life.

"In my mind. There's no reason to read the Washington Post and the New York Times ever again, there's no reason to ever turn on CNN or MSNBC bad Davor CNN, by the way, Michael avenue. They put him on the air seventy four times over a two month, period, the savage, Donald Trump via stormy Daniels and the porn star stuff. Michael avenue was claimed by several Republican never-trumpers as the perfect democrat presidential nominee because he was there Donald Trump. He's a reprobate. He's a skunk. But he had his way with people. I'm not making that up. Now, Trump has been vindicated completely and ever Noddy has just been charged with extortion. Twenty million from Nike. He was also charged last week with failure to pay child support. Charles Grassley referred Abadi to the DOJ for criminal investigation back in October of two thousand eighteen for his role in the Cavanaugh fiasco. That he was among CNN's heroes. Michael Evan knotty before Michael Cohen was going to bring down Donald Trump with the assistance of Stephanie Clifford, also known as stormy Daniels. Everything blew up in their face. "July, fourth whatever holidays celebrate each in individual country birthdays in missing events. So it is a very. Lonely world that we live in today's perfect example. I mean, we look at what Nick is going with going through with his lovely year visual. If home taking care of the situation, even though despite Nick getting called out because Nick nosy can depend on on Chile to take care of the situation. So there is there is a level of comfort. But what I think the biggest biggest thing we're looking at is not necessarily because of being a pilot, whether it be male, female or dependence on each other. I think we're looking at the difference in the sign of times nowadays, you get the whole different world technology. You've got a hold of world of the dating scene. People far less personally interactive versus, you know, if you go out to any restaurant, if you go out to any nightclub if you go out to any just going to subway just walk around the streets. What you do you see everybody is talking on this L phones texting? They're they're communicating. They go on dating sites. The first off. I just got. Through flying with twenty nine years old and still doesn't have a person of interest in life. But yet all his close friends everyone's married. So he's kind of left out with situation that he is by himself without a a life partner yet. So I don't know that there is a true answer because of it being just an airline pilot or via whether it's just a sign of the times that we're in right now, but what this life. You know, those lead to is that you're on the road lot. You spend a lot of time alone in sometimes you just need somebody to depend upon at home. But, you know, whether you want to not I think it's really an age gender in age specific thing a lot of the younger pilots coming up of the more probably more single of the lease majority that it's just like Jeff has. A flaw with that phone with a lot of single. I officers haven't had the opportunity five of the female yet. So I don't know what that situation as yet. But lot of the guys fun with our either just recently, married have young children, home or very much single. So I I don't think it has any relationship to directly to the industry other than that we spend a lot of time on the road by cells. Yeah. I agree. I think it is a big part of this. Is this a sign of the times? Yeah. Very true. But incredibly thought provoking and thanks for choosing. That was just an I'm I'm going to have to listen to this afterwards. When the pope costs comes out and Molly Davor bit Mockus, a just like to listen to that. All again, there's so much in your feedback. And I, you know, I really wanna try ten my brain around and see if I can on certain the questions more simply because we're more..

"Like they've hit who's he came back at us right into Scholley. Jalen smith. Dame, but whose other kidding vendor? Yeah, he's a fucking stud. Now, I can't play some fucking football. I like him a lot. Let's head over to the AFC. We mentioned a little bit. The chargers ravens game. Lamar Jackson with a pretty ugly performance. Means we set up for chargers. First patriots, Tom Brady seven zero against Philip rivers in his career haven't met up in the playoffs since oh, seven the AFC championship. When the pats were seventeen and now at that point Davor, you more happy facing the chargers. Or would you rather face in the ravens? Ravens. Traditionally give us trouble. But I mean, you can't in light of what I saw. I can't say that rather be facing the ravens because the charge look thousand dollars better owed rather be playing. The texans. Is that too? It'll be tough game. I think we'll win. But I think honestly spread should be like a pick em if you flacco if they would have been Lamar through flag out there, if you think the ravens would've been beating the charges now. I mean, it depends when they did it. But I think at the point where it's twenty three to three you're probably not winning that game. Anyway, and why ruin Lamar Jackson for the whole Aussies you ruin them by benching. Ruin them off season tougher for him. And like the media. I don't think win the game. I think in this situation with like a SuperBowl winner and flacco has been the core back. You can maybe get away with it. I don't know you can keep them both on the team that creates to me like the over the shoulder next year. I don't think fuck it will be their next. Well, then then you could do it in my mind. I'm not sure what his contract is. I think the charges pats though, I spent a very good game. I think it's. I think he's gonna be well run the ball up here. I think it's going to be one of those games when it's over everyone turns around and like how the fuck of the patriots win that game. That's what I think it is going to be that type of rock and sauk type. It's like the entire lately in the. The twilight of the patriots dynasty. They have games. The Jags certainly example last year where it's like the entire game. It's like oh my God Jackson a win. And then something happens. We're plays as like those patriots. Did it again? That's what I think. There is. Again, the player perspective. There's a mystique to come into Gillette because the team has been good hopper. Eighty bro. Okay. Well, yeah. Find a mystique is the players that stadium is there's no van coach. One hundred percents. Even will you say it's like that mile. Jack foam will return for touchdown reversed. Like things we've lost one game to the jets one playoff game that that horn N ravens. The ravens won is not my head because you expected to lose that was an off year. Now this could end up being an off year where it's like if the pages coming at thumbed his it was never the year. I don't think that'll be it. So you put on a disclaimer now. What I'm saying when they lost the jets that was quite stunning. Like they we had home field Argos Super Bowl. I would have my life. We were. I'm in the same boat here. I expect to pages go to the Super Bowl. I won't be shocked if they did. Okay. Yeah. Do you think the weather's gonna matter other things can be like thirty and snowy? Yes. That helps us. Yeah. I wanted to fit out, but I seen them go to Pittsburgh seen them. It's good in charge is I use a west coast teams. Obviously don't do wellness coast. Outside of California this year. Right. So I'm looking at the charges like they can they can come in with the whole Buster Douglas mindset and dropped that motherfucker. But it's not it's not about Douglas spreads. Not huge. I think a lot of people are going to pick the chargers. I really do. So I don't it's not it's not forty two to one side note..
"davor" Discussed on The Big Story
"The big story is brought to you by SCO shy trade. There's a traitor and all of us. You don't have to live in Ontario to recognize what's happening to the environment here right now. This is nothing new in Canada or around the world, you know, the drill a new government. That's campaigned on the economy or jobs or tax cuts steps into office and regulations designed to protect the environment are often the first thing to go. We're going to put one that's going to respect the ties because we're going to put money back in the taxpayer's pocket. What is unique to Antero? However, or at least was you need is that the environment in Ontario has a voice in the halls of power for the past twenty five years. The office of the environmental Commissioner has reported to the legislature answered to the public and spoken for the province's animals and trees in December the independence of that office was eliminated with a single line in a larger Bill why in Ontario, and in so many other places? Are we casting off the rules? We put in place to govern the environment at a time. When research shows, we need them more than ever, what does that say about our state of mind as we entered the most critical year in history when it comes to combating climate change. I'm Jordan heath Rawlings. And this is the big story Ontario is heading down a path that is very uncertain. We don't know what's going to happen. A year from now Fatima Siad is an investigative reporter with the national observer who has been digging into the huge impact. This little line item is going to have on the health of nature in this province. Let's start with you telling me about the moment that you learned the provincial government was neutering the office of the environment Commissioner, so the the government released its fall economic statement, which is kind of like a mini budget statement. So a rough outline of what they're gonna do in the months to come when it comes to sort of their investment into Ontario. And there was one line in that I think it was fifty seven pages one line in that fifty something booklet, and it was very technical. So we have to ask about it. But it said that the government is eliminating. All three out of nine watchdogs in Ontario, and the three of them were the child, advocacy, though, francophone affairs watchdog, and the environmental watchdog this news comes just a week in a bit after the environmental watchdog who is Diane sacks. And who's been in that position for almost three years now three to five years of her tenure she releases her annual climate report. Right. And in that she reveals that there is over eleven thousand tons of sewage in our water systems. So I look at this. And I'm like, I'm sorry. What? It was completely shocking because you know, government comes in Davor move cap and trade they start talking about, you know, removing all these environmental protections. They release a climate plan that barely has anything in it..

"But it doesn't need to be this hard with the no soap Noto Davor, the whole difficult conditions, and his voice came to me that said when you're ready to come back to the United States. You're going to start a company you're gonna make it fun and dare we say sexy, but just easy to meditate and you'll call the company the path and at that moment, I opened my eyes. I'm now surrounded by two hundred almost all Indian people and this meditation retreat, I no one to share this insight with because everyone was in silence. But in that moment, I knew that my life mission was essentially to save my former self so have left being the co founder of a tech company to then find yourself back to being a founder again with the path. So how's your approach to being an entrepreneur? Under different this time around. Yeah, that's very insightful that you realize that by the way, the whole time I was travelling. So the one thing I'll never do is run a company again never. Exactly, I'll be or maybe pottery, but just anything but run a company and you're right. Somehow right now or years later, I have launched the path and I am running a company again. But in a very different way. I would say a really really good at being me now like to fault. So a much funnier now, or at least try to be sort of like naked gun film, like keep trying keep trying and like maybe twenty percent of the jokes are funny. But but I have the confidence to try to be funny, which actually I'm really proud of my team, mostly appreciates. I have no problem giving negative feedback. I just I myself. So I'm relaxed. I asked for how I asked for help from our investors people above me. I ask for help from my team people working for me from colleagues. I'm really brutally honest about everything..
