Hawaii's governor says that the number of people still missing following wildfires that destroyed the historic community of Lahaina has dropped to 66. The Valley of the Missing is now significantly lower than a week earlier when authorities said that 385 people remained unaccounted for. The number of confirmed deaths is still at 115. The deadliest U .S. wildfire in more than a century swept through Lahaina on August 8th, destroying more than 2 thousand structures. Officials raised the death toll to at least 80 and that warned it could rise again as search efforts continued. Now overseas, where shippers have warned been to stay away from Iranian waters over the threat of being seized as U .S. Iran actions grow. AP correspondent Karen Chalmers reports. Western backed maritime forces in East the Middle have warned shippers traveling through the strategic Strait of Hormuz to stay as far away from Iranian territorial waters as possible. The forces warned that making such a voyage increases their risk of being seized. The Strait of Hormuz is the narrow mouth of the Persian Gulf, through which 20 % of the oil world's passes. Adrienne Vaughan died and her husband and the skipper of the rented motorboat injured in the accident on Thursday afternoon. No charges have been filed against the skipper yet and the probe is still ongoing. The prosecutor, chief Giuseppe Borelli, says when the crash happened, Vaughan was sunning herself on the bow of the boat. The prosecutor adds blood samples were taken from the skipper, but for now the results were inconclusive.
