"PFG. Scott for Scots here. Do you hear that? Bring the miking clause. That's not how the grass should sound as weeds everywhere in this lawn. It's time to take action with Scott's tarth builder to ripple action. It gets three jobs done at once, kill Swedes, prevents crabgrass, and feeds your lawn so it keeps glowing strong. Ah, much better. Get a bag of Scott's triple action today. It's guaranteed or your money back. Feed your lawn, feed it. So flew to we've talked at length about everything that this bruins team does really well. What weaknesses do they have. And if you were going to coach against them, what would you do? Right now they're a power play is not doing well. Last I looked since about mid January, they were second worst. In the league. The only team that was worse is Chicago Blackhawks who are designed to lose. They want to lose so that they get the first overall pick. So that's a red flag. And it has been a red flag for a long time. They've been trying in terms of personnel in terms of systems, it's just isn't working. They still have some breathing room in terms of their 8 regular season games remaining to get that fixed, but it has to be fixed because you can't go into the playoffs with a power play that's running around last I checked. In this stretch, it was around 11 or 12% efficiency. What does that mean? That might signal to a team that, okay, let's play a lot of rough with the bruins in the playoffs, come game one, let's lay on them. Let's try and rough them up because, okay, let's say we take some super penalties for being physical. Well, if the bruins don't get their power play straightened out, it's not going to hurt them. So they can take a run, say, a David postmark, be a little bit late on that hit. You a little high with that stick. And the way you make opponents pay for that is by burning them on the power play, and that hasn't happened for a good stretch here. So this absolutely has to be repaired for the playoffs. Any other weaknesses that come to mind or is it really just that one? That's it. Of course, injuries. You can say that about everybody of three guys go down, then you have some issues. But that's one of the reinforcements that they've made at every quadrant of this roster is that if players get hurt and they will get hurt, they should be okay if players go down, but yeah, other than the power play. Nope. No weaknesses I see. So the bruins have all but locked up the president's trophy as the team with the best regular season record. There are those, though, Pluto, who believe that the president's trophy is cursed. Case in point, last year, Florida won it, and then got swept in the playoffs and in 2019, Tampa Bay also had a historically good regular season, and they also got swept by the 8th seed Columbus blue jackets if memory serves. Is there something to this idea of a cursed president's trophy? I don't think so. I think I don't think there's a curse. There might be an element with some teams that they get a little bit too confident that they say, okay, we're the best team in the league. We've had a great rigorous season. It's just such a different game in the playoffs in terms of physicality, intensity, attention to detail that if you have any kind of mental slippage in terms of thinking you're a little bit better than you are, that will show up in the playoffs. So I don't think that will be an issue for the bruins just because of a, how good they are and B, I think their core players, bergeron, creature, Martian, mcavoy, lindholm. They're not going to take any kind of crap in the playoffs in terms of players thinking that they're better than they are. They know the regular season doesn't mean anything unless they go deep in the playoffs. If they don't win the cup, this will be a disappointment. That's how good they've been. So yeah. The core leadership team is too strong and too committed to let that seep into the room. Well, just to rain on this Boston Bruins parade a little bit more here, Pluto. We talked earlier about how stacked this Boston team is and some of the salary cap games that they've played to assemble that roster. How much have they mortgaged their future for a really strong shot at the cup this year? And does this feel like it truly is their last dance? Yes, no, yes. They have sold off their future. They don't have the first round pick for the next two years. And they didn't have one last year because of the hamper's line home trade. So yes, they will absolutely be shorthanded for years to come. Now, does this mean that it's just, they're going to fall off a cliff. I don't know that I would go that far. Just because of what they have for the next few years to come, the goaltending tandem is best in show, pav Osaka, you could be a top two center, Charlie Coyle. He's perfect right now as your third line center, but maybe he does have to move up to be a second line center, but they have other pieces in place too. Lindholm, through 2030, if I recall, same with mcavoy. So those are two building block pieces that are going to be here for a long, long time. Complimentary players like Taylor hall. Try and Frederick still here. And I forgot the biggest star of the mall. David poster Mac. He's only 26, and he signed for the next 8 years, $90 million. Now that is a big number, it's the anti version creature number in terms of cap hit, but is that good in terms of scoring, and that good in terms of being a marketable superstar for the franchise, these outgoing, he's energetic. He's friendly. He's everything you want in a future face of the franchise. So if you still have that and Charlie Michael and the goalies, those are foundational pieces, they can still build around. And who knows maybe 8 years from now, David pasternak will pull a Patrice bergeron and take a pay cut himself to give the bruins another shot at a cuff. Maybe, but they're not worried about that right now. They're worried about what's to come possibly in June. All right, lastly here, Pluto, let's say the bruins do win it all. What do you think that will mean for the core group of players on this team Patrice bergeron, David creche and Brad marchand in particular, who have been at this for a really long time now. They'll be legends. Absolutely legends. It's just such a sense of pride to be lifelong bruins. So for Patrice bergeron, David krejci, Brad marchand, all drafted and developed by the bruins to be able to follow up in 2011 championship with one in 2023. It would be full circle. That would be a great way for Patrice and David to say, okay? We're done. We're going out on top or champions. That's it. And they would leave the franchise in good hands. And Brad too, he still has a few more years left on his deal and still a few more years left that he can perform on a high level, but yeah, he's got fewer tomorrows, but yeah, those three in particular, yeah. There might be statues in their future. Thanks so much for joining us today and, man, I'm very excited for the NHL playoffs. My pleasure Andrews. "That, of course, recalls those days, those just entertaining days when you guys were patrolling the league with New York islanders. Can appreciate the camaraderie that obviously existed then, but it's so evident now because not to be raped today's player. But you guys can win on for 5 hours with story after story after story. I mean, we cut because we're getting time and stuff. But then we stay on for ten more minutes and tell 12 more. It's like, I know. You were just so fun because here's the thing. And I don't know that it's the same today because life is more fragmented today than it than it was then. So we never had a charter. So every time we played a game, we stayed overnight. Yeah. And when we stayed overnight, you go for dinner and you have a couple of drinks after the game or whatever, and then the next morning you meet to go to the airport and the stories just, you know, somebody has a bad suit or somebody played a great game and you start teasing that for whatever. You were always together and you didn't have anywhere else to go. But when you, when you just even see the way that heals and flats are, it was nonstop. With those guys. And so when you came in our room, you walked in, Glenn sat in the first stall, the second stole was empty. I sat in the third stall and flat sat in the fourth stall. I think flat sat in that stall, honestly, his entire time with the islanders. And so when you walked in, it was like, you know, the old Muppets there that, you know, we're all like chirping away. It was just, I don't know, it was just, it was a great time. I just really, I'm just, I think they're just hilarious. And so I hope everybody enjoyed their nonsense. So good. All right, from pat flatley, and Glenn Healy, we go to Chris Albert, Chris Abbott, presentation, but tano dot CA available in Ontario. At betano, the game starts now. Episode 27. There's a lot going on in the National Hockey League crests. We're caught up with the world juniors. That's always an exciting time this time of year. But it's also an opportunity for us to remind people that, yeah, there's been a lot of hockey played in the NHL, but there's a lot more to come. And people are constantly looking for ideas. So why don't we look at, you know, what the predictions are now. If you look at the Eastern Conference, the Western Conference, is it pretty much the way it reads as you look at the standings or people more interested clearly in the long shots based on the betting lines and all that. You know, I always go back to a couple of years ago when St. Louis were in dead last around this time of year, right? And you always wonder if there's going to be an opportunity or a team down there at the bottom to kind of make that run. So if I look at that, I don't know if anyone's rushing to put their money on the flyers, the sharks, the coyotes, the blue jackets, the ducks, the Blackhawks at this time of year. There's some mid range ones that maybe you might be able to convince people on, like the St. Louis blues, like the Washington capitals, it's 74 to one to win the Stanley Cup. I mean, they've still got a good team in Washington. And then you were talking about some high profile New York islanders alumni there. It's 30 9 to one to win the Stanley Cup right now. So there are a couple of long shots, I suppose. If you were really interested, but most people are going to be on the frontrunners, Boston, Colorado, Carolina, and Vegas are the top four at least they're at 11 to one. So I don't know. We've seen a little, maybe it's taken a little longer for the public to get super excited about the leafs right now. What about the individual goals and points and things like, like if I'm thinking of goals, I'm like, man, contagious Thompson, squeeze all the way through, or does everybody just look at McDavid and go in, he's going to be uncatchable, even though the gap isn't very big. Well, you know, the goaltending stats in McDavid's division right now, and he's contributed to some of it, are not very good. So he's the favorite right now, plus one 35 to win the rocket Richard trophy. But you make a good point. Jason Robertson and tage Thompson both plus four 50, David poster and act further down the list at 9 to one was Leon draisaitl. Auston Matthews, 1401, you know, he's always going to score his goals. So you guys know I love tage Thompson. I feel like I was an early adopter. Last season, listen, four and a half to one though. I don't know. I almost want a little bit more. So I might wait before pulling the trigger on that one. But, you know, there's some big shooters down the list. So it's definitely worth a look. Individual awards, I don't know that we have to go through all of them. I mean, is it pretty obvious, Chris, what most betters are looking at the Norris? Are we looking at the heart or are we looking at the Calder, the vesna? Like all the major awards is there one tour all of them drawing action at this stage? Well, you know, everyone kind of defaults the Norris to kill makar, I think, but it's still paying two to one. That's something I'd look at. He's got Rasmus Dali in the second on that list at 5 to one. So two to one for Kelvin Carter to win the Norris trophy this year. That's something that I'd certainly consider right about now. And I think people probably will, as we take the break, maybe get a most gentle monthly and effective for declining the penalty as well. We'll see we'll see what happens, but that's always the popular one, of course, the heart is always popular. And then, you know, we just talked about McDavid for the goal scoring race. He's an odds on favorite to win the heart and minus one 33. But we've discussed this before. Okay, it's easy to give McDavid the heart. So do we start looking somewhere else as we go down the line? God forbid there's some kind of injury or whatever. There's some really good odds because he's such a big favorite on some others. Jason Robertson again at plus 7 50. Nikita kucherov 14 to one Capri off 14 to one Matthews 14 to one. Say for example, McDavid does get hurt and I'm not wishing that. But you gotta think about these things. Then Leon dry settle is 19 to one if he drags the oilers into the playoffs or something like that. Okay. So it's a really good time. Like you said off the top to kind of reevaluate you've got half of season done and the odds of shifted since we started in October. We'll check back in the near future and start doing something similar with the national football league with big games ahead. So thanks again. I'll give no picks for the NFL. Oh, I'm still stuffed from a lot of turkey and all the shenanigans of Christmas, so it's good to be looking at the new year getting fresh and ready for 2000 23, but it's also nice to spend the time that you've been able to spend with your family, right? Because as you've alluded to many times in the world, juniors and whatnot, this is new territory and welcomed territory for you. It really is. It's kind of amazing. Like, you know, Christmas morning happened and I wasn't packing to go to the airport. And which is pretty standard stuff for the past decade and a bit. And the

"But I do, like, I'm looking at the 2023 free agents. By the way, this is subject to change because guys will sign extensions. And the popular thing always is when you're in one off season to say the next drop season is so much better. Next off season, that's the one. But I'm just looking earlier at 2023. And some of the notable centers, Ryan O'Reilly will be a free agent. Then again, I don't know what he's a little older. I don't know if that's like, that's not like a long-term fix, but it is someone that, I don't know, maybe you go after. Nathan McKinnon will not be on the free agent market and I think by then, but he is a free agent currently that off season. Dylan Larkin, Bo horvat, JT Miller is another. It's really the only notable ones that I think are worth saying. Jonathan tabes, you want tapes there, they fixed it. But I do think that, again, you look at, you look at next off season is potentially one that you can make those kind of moves with money coming off the books. And I do think you probably have to you'd like to resign David poster Mark. That would probably be probably be a good thing unless you, unless you really go like full on rebuild. And by the way, before we get to the quick hits, some of the actual bruins player news that we've got in the past couple days, you know, one thing would create cheap, you know, Sweeney mentioned how posh knocks basically going to be recruiting creature back. I think Craig is good for one more year, but I do think you do have to try to find actual long-term fixes within the next year. If you could find a way to get creature to come back for next season, perfect. Great. But after next season, I'm not sure that's like a viable option. Yeah. Maybe the same as bergeron coming back. We're again, I think at the very least it gives you a chance to be in the mix, which again. You throw shit to the wall when you get into the playoffs and who knows what happens. They got one last great run in them. That's good. And at the very least, that gives you again more time to either develop prospects. If you have bergeron creature back, you also don't have to give up a blue chip prosper to get a guy like scheifele or Dubois or anything like that. So you retain your talent, younger players come up the system, you save more commitments so that way when a lot of it gets cleared off the books next year, you can spend however you want to spend it. So yeah, at the very least, it's kind of the best of both worlds. If both those guys come back in terms of you at least have one more run where you can have the gang back together and it gives you just more time to maybe not delay the inevitable. It gives you more time to reassess what the next step is because certainly those decisions have to be made. You just keep delaying the inevitable. It's like Wiley, it's like wile E coyote when he runs off the cliff. And he keeps on running out in a straight line. He doesn't realize until he looks down that he falls. That's what the brooms are doing. Just run straight off, keep on chugging across until they get to like 2024 and see what happens. Yes..

"I mean, there was so many and I think this team is desperately lacking in that department. I think they're lacking in the ability to respond to things like the shot that Patrice took. What have they got like 5 fights this year? I think it's as we're talking now. I think it's in the ballpark of 5. And when Brad Marshawn is leaving your team in penalty minutes right now, maybe need to look in the mirror and decide whether or not you need to do a little more. Yeah, and it's funny. I mean, I look at the lineup right now again. Bergeron Marshall at the top, and obviously if Nick foligno, who came in, hoping that he'd be a leader, but again he's new. By the way, I love the way he responded in the islander game. Good for him. Started the game, hitting everything that moved. You know, didn't like the shot that David poster not took from Matt Martin, went right after Martin, the face off circle. That's what we saw from Sean Thornton and his Elk back in the day. And what this team has been sorely lacking. Yeah, and again, and I also think like you look at and Bruce's talked about this a lot this year is getting the younger guys to be assistant captains, getting them into leadership roles, and it feels like there needs to be something between them, right? You need you need your mark recce came in at late in his career. He was a good between, you know, you know, he kind of taught Chara how to be a better leader in bergeron. Like those guys learned from that Sean Thornton as well. So I do think that this team needs a shot Thornton like leader. I'm not going to say I mean, again, the enforcer role is kind of carved out, but a leader like Sean Thornton you need. Now to the fun stuff of the book. Now to the good content. This was this story was not short on stories. That's for sure. I had two favorite parts of the book. The whole thing of Mark savard was very interesting to me and how and I didn't know this because again down kind of young. I haven't been around as long as a lot of people didn't know what happened. A lot of people didn't..

"But online, where the game starts again promo code CL Ennis 50. So moving on on a lighter note, there are better note I guess. In the win against Montreal on Sunday Night, it was Charlie night. Just Charlie what's going on? It was Charlie knight. I loved Connor's tweet of Charlie Moore trying to get on the ice. Log a goal, Charlie, more science, my checks, okay? So we stand Charlie Moore. We stand Charlie Moore. But anyways, coil scoring a goal, I know scored one off his head, but he had a really nice his second goal was awesome, came in, lifted the stick went in, put a top corner. Mcavoy had two really good goals. And I think the encouraging thing about this is people other than the top line score on goals. Which is what this team needs, right? We've said all off season. We say it now. Depth is going to be what kind of carries this team. That's what's going to separate. That's what's going to make it a good team. What do you see with that middle 6? Do you see signs that they are coming out and starting to get some better chances? I'll say, yes, because it's also relatively incomplete too. I mean, their lines make of them what you will the last few games because they're third and fourth lines were basically interchangeable with injuries, but that second line isn't entirely the group they wanted to roll with. The fact that they're getting any sort of life from contributors other than Patrice Berger on Brad Marshawn and David poster knock is encouraging. At the same time, I think Charlie mcavoy's on like a 70 point pace, so at what point do you consider him a secondary score versus a primary score? We're getting to the point where you almost expect him to be a near point per game player. Three quarters of a point per game player. The fact that Charlie Coyle is scoring, I think is very promising because Taylor hall will eventually break through. Craig Smith when he's healthy, will eventually break through. Guy throws so many pucks at the net. I mean, raw averages. A puck is gonna go down. The Charlie Coyle thing is, it's just nice to see him be assertive. That's more so what I look for with Charlie Coyle than anything. And that's what we get on my nerves watching David crate she is like, he had a good shot. When he was willing to use it, it was good. And if I were a bruins fan, my biggest worry with Coyle would be is.

"That was a pretty nice compliment. But to see what he's been able to do, it's just it's unbelievable and it's inspired a whole generation of bruins fans. And a lot of the young players when I would from Boston when I would interview them for the draft, he was always their favorite player. Now I'm noticing that Brad Marshawn is the guy that's getting a lot of love and David poster knock like when you talk to these younger draft eligible guys that are coming up and comers more guys are kind of shifting to Marshawn and pasta. And that's fine. But for a long time here over the last ten years or so, it was always, it was bergeron bergeron bergeron, and that's not an accident he just plays the right way. Oh, a 100%. And I think I'm gonna ask you to end the show and ask you a $1 million question. But before we get to the $1 million question. The question of, I'm going to ask you a little, gets people a little scared. You need to chill out a bit. So to help chill out when I ask such tough questions, let's talk about cannabis specifically. Massachusetts premier cannabis dispensary insa. INS a they're the premiere because the founders patent Pete re-engineered the cannabis model from what they sell to how they sell it while never forgetting that it's for everyone. It's a dispensary in fighting and modern. So come in, even if just to learn more. These places are very fun and very cool to go inside. The nsa founders are not these guys from Silicon Valley, but lifelong pals from beautiful Springfield, Massachusetts. So there's another local.

"I am, it's movember. I've never grown facial hair before ever. I always shave and grant, I don't know. Most people would say, well, you can't really grow it. It'd be correct. Got them. But I got it myself on that one. But I am trying to see what it comes of a mustache. I'm gonna give it a shot. Let's movember. It's an important cause. I'm gonna give it a shot. It's gonna look probably horrendous. Remember Sidney Crosby back in like the late 2000s. Play off my sister's awful. If it gets to that point, I think we're gonna have to take it off, just gonna have to do it. But I'm gonna try to be in there a little bit, but. Yeah. I can't let it get too far. I'm gonna give it my all. Here's a bet that I don't know if it's really safe. But it's come to fruition. Charlie Coyle's been good. Charlie Coyle is currently tied for I believe third on the team in points with 5. Yes, or tied for second, actually. With Taylor hall and David poster, I shouldn't expect hall to be second. But Tod for a second, in 5 points, three goals two assists. He's been good. You've got a lot out of him. He's looked good on the second line. Shout out to me, by the way, I picked him up in fantasy. I picked him up. I drafted him. It was like last round pick in fantasy hockey, which I actually I'm enjoying this year 'cause I can watch all the games on ESPN+, not a sponsor. But I just forgot he's been good. So I've seen firsthand how good you can be. But it's not just points. It's kind of this whole package deal because this knee is fixed. It's crazy what happens when a guy plays these about injured. What have you seen past just the goal scoring? Yeah, I think for him, the most promising thing, he's kind of getting back to his strength and we've talked about it before that last year. It wasn't just the fact that Coyle wasn't producing. He just kind of didn't have that same trademark kind of coil game where even though he wasn't maybe racking up points, he was still holding onto the puck extending ozone possessions really kind of bullying past opposing skaters. You don't see that much last year. You're seeing it a bit more, and I think maybe the most encouraging thing is, you know, he's never going to be a guy that I think is going to really pep of the net or really get a lot of shots on goal, but he does seem to be a lot more comfortable in the ozone in terms of taking kind of those that initiative and taking those shots now granted, I think maybe it was helped out a bit by the fact that he moved over to wing wearing Craigslist was out, which you always kind of get concerned. I mean, I think maybe the most encouraging thing for coil in terms of producing points early is that it hasn't really been like an easy kind of just jumping into this second line roll, right? Like Smith is hurt, so then he's pushed to the wing. It's not like Taylor hall has really been on fire to start the year. So it wasn't like, you know, he was just put into the spot and he had two guys that were firing on all cylinders. He's just racking up secondary assists to what have you..

"Right now, then that is more of an issue. But I don't know. I think it's just too early to start worrying all that much about him. Yeah, I'm not super worried either. I think as you said with him, like, I remember last year, I don't have the exact number off the top of my head, but you're right. He was a menace out of the gate. Like he came in after that injury and was just scoring and droves. And then as you said, he cooled off. There are sometimes where he does look on the ice, like, you know, he hasn't maybe go for loose pucks as much as you'd like him to or, you know, he'll do a weird thing in the offensive zone where he brings it in and just kind of makes it nothing play. He'll dump it in the corner or he doesn't, it's like just make the extra effort. And I think there's been that thing with him for the last two years. But again, I don't think that's cause for serious concern. I don't sit here and I'm like, oh God, you gotta switch everything around. Well, I think the problem too is that relative to is typical limeade. When Patrice bergeron and Brad Marshawn don't have it going offensively, they are usually making some sort of defensive impact, whether that's 5 on 5 or on the penalty kill. But it's very hard for either of them to have games where you look back and think, wow, they were invisible. It's far easier for that to happen with David postman act because if he's having a bad game offensively, there is very little chance you're going to see him do much else. And when you score at the rate that he generally scores, you can forgive that. You are more than welcome to have those guys where defense is a very much secondary thing for them. But you better be darn sure that they're not going to have either prolonged cold streaks or regular cold streaks. And so I can understand from that standpoint, why it would be a little bit concerning off putting what have you when he's playing the way he is offensively at times looking and different because otherwise you're not gonna get a ton else from him. Yeah, I'm very interested though long term what he would look like with Taylor hall. I don't know if it's like a name thing, I don't know what it is, but there's something so interesting what they could be. You know, if you put them together with coil in the middle, what that could do for a guy like Charlie Coyle. I don't know. There's something interesting there. And I don't think we've seen the last of that as a second line. I don't think that is by any means a long-term thing. But there's a part of me that's like be cool to see how I'll play with pastra for like 5 games. I wonder what would happen if they moved Marshawn to the second line. If they did Marshawn Coyle and Smith, and then you do hall Berger on impostor knock. That'd be interesting. That's putting a lot of the defensive burden on Patrice bergeron. Unless you get borderline salky candidate, Taylor hall from last year when he first got to the bruins, but I think that I almost would sooner try that. Like if the objective is to get and I think Charlie Coyle has been fine. I agree with you on that front. But I think if the objective is to get David poster not going, you probably should put him with the more offensively minded center. And that might be a little bit more easy and theory than in practice, but that would be something if you're really thinking about turning on the blender that I would probably sooner kick around than putting pasta knock with coil. Turn it on, turn on the blender. I like that one. It's funny though. I feel bad. I might keep I'm gonna keep that. I've definitely saved it. I'm putting that in my back pocket right now. 'cause I always like to say cooking with gas. So turn on the blender. I'll put that I'll interchange that mixes everything up. Mixes everything up. But yeah, it's so funny because the bergeron thing, you know, he he hasn't scored a goalie yet this year. First round no goals thus far. But I think it's funny you mentioned putting hall with Burj on impostor. It's funny because is offensively minded as posture and haul R and as cool as that would be to see. Hall has it done a hell of a lot this year. Taylor hall is not been what you paid for, thus for granted it's a few games out of the season, but he's still he's a guy he has two goals once an empty netter hasn't done a heck of a lot. There's been some defensive miscues with him. So it's not like I don't know if he's as safe a bet as we expect or want out of a guy like Taylor hall. Yeah, it's tough because I'm trying to reserve as much judgment as I can while they're this unhealthy. Because I don't think it's getting enough attention how big of a burden there is on these top guys. And again, that's why they're all making four or 5, $6 million a year. But every game it ends up with Carson coolman or Trent Frederick or some combination of the bottom 6 guys playing like 7 or 8 minutes the entire night. And you look in the time on ice numbers for some of these top guys are absurd. And they're all, you know, they're all getting for the most part pretty generous starts with zone starts that is. But I think that there's just so much of a burden on all of them to do so much because the bruins aren't really getting the depth that they need from the bottom 6, because Curtis Lazar has been hurt. Nick felino has been hurt. Even I think Anton bleed is played pretty well this potent preseason and the loan opportunity he got during the regular season. I thought that he looked fine. But they just haven't really been able to spread everything out across all four lines. Like, I think they were hoping they would. And so I think that's made things a little bit more challenging on the Taylor hall's David posner Knox in Craig smith's of the lineup than a probably otherwise intended to. Yeah, I agree. I mean, I think if you were to make a bet, it would probably be that the top lines come to. You know, they get some points, down there. It's pretty a good bat, right? But we're talking really good bets. Talking about our good friends over at bed online. That's a great segue. They're back and they are better than ever. Like those top lines, hopefully we'll be soon. He got called up was on the fourth line, everyone's kind of like, why? Thomas nosek on the second line, but then he got moved to the second line. Got taken off mid game for a member right? And then went back. Again, wasn't all over. Been all over. I think Cassie has a big trigger finger with this stuff. And he always has. What's it going to take for sonequa to fit in the lineup? I mean, what's going to have to give? I don't know, because this will sound like more harsh of a criticism than I intend for it too. But for as much as Claude Julian got raked through the coals for how he handled young players. Bruce Cassie's had that hair trigger with Jax Danica Anders Björk Ryan Donato, you know, some of them he was right on like Jay. Dan, didn't hide him. Dan hyneman's a great example, yep..

"Connor and I have the betting segues down. It's easiest thing. You either say safe bet or you play into what you have to say. Anyways, another person another player who people were very excited to watch and see at this prospect challenge was Fabian lysell first round pick and the world exploded when he scored that empty netter. First career goal technically to bruise uniforms and empty netter. Is that a good omen, bad omen? Remember, it wasn't Chris bork, who intentionally like missed the net to not get his first goal being empty netter I think. I forgot about it. I mean, I don't know. Are we counting the prospects challenges? First, no, we're not. We're not. We're not. What I would say from Fabian LaSalle's game, it wasn't anything wild. But it was good enough this weekend, right? I mean, it wasn't ridiculous, but he was pretty good. Yeah. I mean, that's why he's going to the WHL, right? He's 18. He's never played in North America before. So I think basically all you're looking for in a prospect's challenge is how easily is he getting worked off the puck? How much does his skill set get impacted by the rank size? And what kind of defensive game does he play? If you're Fabian lifestyle, your offensive game should probably be right around where it has been in a prospect's challenge, right? He got put in a very good situation on a line with. I think it was Sammy Aslan and Jacob or jacopo. And a hidden had very good chemistry. It looked like all week. And I think that is probably a sight of things to come in like the next three years. But you know, how much can you really glean from a guy playing from a bunch of kids his age? Ultimately, I think the fact that he didn't look out of place, sure he didn't set the world on fire, but his skating looked very good. Like the way he looks like he's just constantly buzzing is something else. And I think it'll be a learning curve of source for bruins fans because pretty much in David poster knock. And I guess you could say Charlie macklin. The bruins haven't historically exhausted high first round picks or mid first round picks on very offensively minded players. Like they like guys who defense the hallmark of their game. So I think what people are going to have to get used to.

"And I think the one name you hear quite a lot in terms of getting parallels to his career is like a guy like David pasternak who went from. Yeah, yeah, went from the SHL came over to North America. You expected a learning curve really wasn't was almost, I think a point per game guy in Providence got bumped up to the NHL 18 the rest is history. Very, very unfair to put that kind of expectation on Fabian myself with arguably the best goal scorer in the league, a guy who I mean, how many teams kicking themselves are not taking him when you saw how quickly his development curve was. So I think for bruins fans, even if lysell starts this upcoming year in the WHL, and he plays in Vancouver, that's any reps, especially considering how tough the last few years have been for prospects is a step in the right direction. So let's say he goes to WHL and you know, he piles on points playing against guys his age, that's a great step in the right direction. If he makes that jump up to Providence, that's great. The number is probably won't be as flash as they are on WHL, but he's learning on the fly as an 18 year old. So whichever step he takes, it's a positive one, but I think just for bruins fans, when it comes to these prospects, you know, you can't expect a David poster every time you have an Uber skilled guy added to the pipeline. And so it's mostly just about preaching patients, right? It's about having a player and having rolling with the punches as they go through your development because how many times look at let's say a guy like our hova and iron in who you looked at maybe 2017, 2018. You're like, all right, this guy by 2019 is going to be a top four fixture. It doesn't work out that way. You know, whether it's injuries or hitting a wall at some point or other factors going to a lot can change over the span of a guy's development. So patients has to be preached for gallic wise, but that being said, you should still be very excited about what he brings to this pipeline as a whole. You said the word patience. He's 18. Again, we can't be expecting. Let me remember Rasmus to lean and we know it's kind of comparing different things. But rass was to lean comes into the league at around, I believe 18 with the savers. I've read these up in Buffalo. But he's a guy who's taken some more time than most people think or most people thought sort of acclimate to the league. You have to expect that with lysell. And don't immediately think that he's untreatable or anything. But you might have an asset there to trade. If you really were going for a big gun, maybe you have something there. That's what the weekend discussed when that avenue opens and also inevitable storyline pops up. Yes. I mean, you don't want to be doing like a Philip forsberg type trade for like Martin era. You know, you don't want to be trading, Fabian lifestyle for some jabroni second line right winger or something. You know, you want to do this when you signed when he signs with a team from the cage. John comes back over there. Yes, exactly. So temper the expectations with lysell a little bit, but enjoy the highlights. Enjoy the highlights, 'cause I guarantee there will be quite a few this year wherever he ends up, whether that be the WHL, Providence, Boston. Another guy who another winger in the pipeline for the bruins, who the bruins expect a good amount of is Jacob loco..
