"I'm sure Penn state fans are raising their hands right now now saying hey what what. What about this weekend here? So how do you see. Penn state at the horseshoe versus Ohio state working out David. Man Penn State's leaking oil. I mean they're a team that Had A lot of momentum early. But it's definitely struggled and I I was just watching Minnesota and Indiana Games back. I'm looking at their defense. They're decent front seven is really really good but they mandate struggle versus play action. I think I know like seventeen. Seventeen rich in in play action. The last two games against Penn state were quarterbacks literally were seventeen seventeen and they struggle there too aggressive in the back end biting down out of their struggle in the back end periods. They're going to have to score a lot of points and the Hamlets GonNa have to be healthy and You know they're definitely going to have to figure out to get hot again. They've got the funding Mojo again. They got a great event. The front seven but You Know Penn State's not playing their best in Ohio state has played consistently really really good throughout policies. And so I think Penn State's going to get some import to. Its bounces like they did a couple years ago and make some place in special teams and create the big plays like that if they're going to try to pull the upset bear but you could make the case. That halftime of Penn State Michigan was a potentially a turning point for both teams as you said translates leaking oil. That first half look great great and then the second half not so much in Michigan was leaking oil pretty much up until that halftime in Jim. Harbaugh said we're about to have our finest hour who he saw something good coming in it has developed. DC Any shot for Michigan in the Bass Against House Day Michigan. Absolutely I. I think he's playing great rich. I think they're one of the hottest team in college football. And they got a great identity offensively and I think Michigan's the team that Michigan's Michigan would struggle with would be big physical physical teams. 'cause they're they're not what they used to be up front as far as Jive and quickness and speed and play making like they were with those big old suckers in the trenches and and Gary and all these guys had over the last couple of years but they still got they can still play cover to sell good corners. They still Great speed in the in the front seven and so so I think dammit Ohio State or on a great collision course and wouldn't it be. What did you do a fitting result just to see Michigan? Maybe beat Ohio state at the end of the season. Like wouldn't that just be like black year. Ohio State Ruin Michigan season at the end of the year was really gate better. Chances this year Michigan is GonNa come into the huge underdog and it just seems fitting for this rivalry that we all love to walk every single year at the end of the season. That something like that would happen over to talk about it. For at least a couple of we'll we'll we'll see but that would obviously be a remarkably satisfying ending for Michigan fans to that season but we first things first. You Got Ohio. State Penn state this weekend obviously am versus Georgia Texas for at Baylor in that regard And I'm sure you'll be discussing all of that on College Game Day last two four. You David pollock Your heisman has been trophy you handed to borrow right now or does chase young over the next couple of weeks coming back after suspension. Have a shot hurts. How do you handicap this race right now? Don Boroughs Man. It's crazy to say that right now and then you think about the journey that this offense has been on but I mean just completely insane level of passes actors and just you who can put any seven percent of their taxes like that. It's hard to do that on air like that's hard to go out and do on a seven on seven and to be oh productive and so good and so many big moments in every time. It seemed needed I think. He far away the heisman trophy front runner. It changed young. Didn't get this. Let me tell you some fifty heads of why Mozambique beating the drum for him. I mean He. He is the most dominant player in college football. And at the end of the day with separate Clemson LSU and Ohio. Ohio state what separates them to be from from being one being the top team in the country. What a chase down one dozen? That guy's a super freak. Okay I mean he can dominate at eighty football game. Defensively more than anybody and I would have been interesting to see you get to spend nothing. Getting accredited hurts it. But it's It's Joe Borough. I don't I don't know how you're GONNA make it any other way ship for and last one for you the most safe for work. Sign that you've seen on the set of College Game Day behind you this year. What what what safe for work that you can tell me right here on radio show what sign that has been brought by college? Game Day fan is in your clubhouse. I see your favorite sign of the year Last year we were at Baylor and it was big on quality losses and justification about people also. There was a World War Two signed and it was it was pretty pretty creative. Talking about how It was a quality loss in World War Two as opposed to being. Hey just outright laws. That was a that was a good one we had last weekend. So we want Bama scratched out. LSU signs are starting to take off and be really really really funny because of the season and watching you take all those are two they can pick up David. Thanks for the call appreciate it say oh say hello to everybody Resources as as great as they come in and just not only hosts but people and Desmond everybody else Have a good one now probably will do thank you you gotTa David Pollock of Espn College Game Day right here on the rich Eisen from the so there's that Lsu loss to Clemson Georgia. And I don't think we're GONNA see that move for for a couple of weeks. It's going to be right there. Unless of course Penn state drops could happen. Jobs went in and again just to use The from Crystal Echo. WHO's on Game Day as well with those guys why I loved working with him at a On sportscenter is just a great researcher then and he is now now. He's a little bit more focused Kasane on the overs and unders and things like that he said that it's an eighteen point spread but according to him the last seven teams in top ten match up to be favored by that much have all won and apparently. Ats What is ats me against the spread. Her father to never know man will throw that out. But they're just leaving a big number Carli Lloyd's GonNa join us in our number three. "We welcome our colleague David Pollock the Bernstein, fellow at the Washington Institute just returned from a epic embassy to Iraq and the moving pieces of that troubled country. David a very good evening to you, Malcolm says you measure Iraq. And then you also measure the Kurds last time. I checked the Kurds were overrun bullied by the government in Baghdad. What is the status? Good evening to you. David good evening. Thanks for having me that that's correct. After the Kurds decided in October two thousand seventeen I was there for that. In person, they decided to have a referendum on independence from Iraq. In other words, they wanted to secede from Iraq and form their own independent country of Kurdistan instead of just off. Konami for that region inside Iraq now that referendum passed by an overwhelming majority. But that provoked in very quickly a military reaction by Iraqi government supported by Iranian backed militias. And as a result, the Kurds in the north of Iraq lost about a third of the territory that they had previously controlled and about half of their oil on which they depend very heavily for their whole economy, including the major oil city of Kirkuk and today from my visit just very recently. What I can see is that the situation I'm happy to report has actually stabilized in the sense that the Kurds having lost that territory in all of that oil spill today. Are back more or less to where they are before two thousand fourteen. In other words, they still have Konami in a somewhat smaller region but region in which almost six million hurts continue to live in relative freedom and stability, and they continue to be quite friendly to the United States and quite resentful of Iranian influence in their territory. Although honestly, they feel like they have to put up with that to certain extent..

"In the last six they've all been beat down that very uncompetitive volume. So I think it leaves it gives the committee excuse in the future. Now gives them a reason to keep out non teams in conference that that might have a little bit of question to them. Or maybe there's something to go. I don't know for sure I think this gives them the MO now to pull the trigger in the future. So David hang tight for a second. I want to ask you guys at the table. Bobby did the results of the semi-final prove in your mind that things need to change. Well, David hit on you know, I think that there were two probably worthy teams. So we're talking about speech. Maybe it's time for contraction a little bit. But if I do think if you expand it you couldn't team like Georgia, and you get to maybe to see them to play Clemson or maybe they play Alabama. Maybe thrown in Ohio State was planning as well as anybody at the end of the year. Like, those are the two teams that I looked at and said, hey, they have the talent and the ability not necessarily to beat maybe Bama consistently. But they have the ability to get it done. And we've seen it happened in the past. We've watched these teams play good football. But the line has to come in somewhere. And I'll say this we constantly have the best or most deserving the argument. I don't think it's that I think they need to find the best of the most deserving at some point don't wins and losses. Did we want to live in a world where losing to Alabama and the SEC championship? And he close game means more than a win. No, absolutely. And that's that's the thing. You try to debate. Just because you're one of the best can't absolve you of a loss in Georgia lost LSU house. They got beat up by Purdue. You can't kid disappear. But they're playing the best football at the end of the season. That's what's unfortunate. They probably would have been better matchups but Notre Dame one other. Games against a schedule that you'll look that historically would have been pretty tough. So you open it up to eight and maybe make most most programs happy you got the deserving teams that go through their season. Perfect. And you got the people think are better matchups for the best teams. Speaking of other matches urban Meyer is set to take on his final coaching assignment. When the buckeyes take on Washington in the Rose Bowl tomorrow at five eastern Meyer spoke yesterday about the condition. He was leaving the program in check it out. Take a listen. Gun coach has done what he was the model. He handed off support staff and everybody never lost their jobs. The program is extremely strong and more than that. You're heading off to a guy that can make it stronger, and some very much a piece about that. Ryan day weren't in the picture, and it'd be tough for me to walk away. The I don't think I could. So let's bring David Pollock back in David in your opinion is this the final curtain call for urban Meyer. I think he believes it's the final curtain call. I really do think thinks that I think that he's he's he's at a spot where he's worn out. And he's got a lot of health concerns. And he knows that it's killing him because he's the type of guy that grinds doesn't have a he's the type of guy that's in a tunnel with tunnel vision, the.

"Have started eleven oh since the BCS was created in nineteen ninety eight and that's where I stopped reading because I realized that nineteen ninety eight is now twenty years ago, and I have no concept of time where things lay or how things have all come undone so quickly like the teams that she mentions two thousand four Auburn Oklahoma and USC two thousand nine Alabama Florida and Texas in two thousand thirteen Alabama Florida's Dayton Ohio state all these undefeated all of that useful information is lost because the sands of time of a road much faster than I could have possibly anticipated. But that's where we are. Now, we've got this sort of body of work where the collar. Football that myself and others in my age range group watching has become the stuff that we reference is history somewhere. Trey wingo of golick and wingo. Fame is very proud of our knowledge -ment of history. And so while we're in one of those season that feels very flukey as far as three undefeated teams rolling into this potential. A very strong likelihood I would say for those three undefeated teams to show up in the college football playoff as such when you look at what's left remaining rivalry week has a different tone to it. Because so many of these games are rendered meaningless with the exception of one when you look at rivalry weekend. I think it begins an ends with that game in the team up north and the Ohio State buckeyes Ohio's day. Michigan is the one to me that holds the key for a lot of this and Ohio State specifically's their role in this has changed Ohio state's four point underdogs in Vegas. And for a lot of. People. This is put up or shut up for them. David Pollock are ESPN college football on the rankings reveal show last night says Ohio State better show up just so they don't get dog. I mainly go to the other side of the ball. Because if you're watching house states defense, Greg Ciano better come up with something. I mean, it's been bad. It's been it's been misalignment. It's been not knowing how to play certain overloads the field the boundary like stuff that they should know that it drives you nuts. Evens a player that's to watch. They need to get in the film room. They better be ready. That are played better. They've been play harder. They've been tackled better. Because if they're gonna get embarrassed person last Michael junior here on ESPN radio and ESPN that's not something we're used to but state that has been an offense of juggernaut on defense has done things as David pointed out that are uncharacteristically bad and things that are lazy not gap sound that were surprised to see from a team of that caliber. This college football talks brought to you by the two. Thousand nine and Ford f one fifty it doesn't just raise the bar..

"And then Lawrence comes in against Georgia Tech, Brian really get going and Lawrence and five possession four touchdowns. He had a throw to his left about twenty yards down David Pollock was breaking it down on Twitter. It's just an insane throw through a couple of defenders to the left pylon. He's on the run, like total roll out to his left and gets himself square and just Zing it in there. He's a special special kid. But if you're Daboh and you knew that it was going to be hunter, which is what everybody thought it was going to be. Did you play Kelly Brian at the beginning of the year, just keep him around. Did you screw over Kelly? Bryant is Kelly Bryant. Think he got screwed over Jalen hurts. Think he gets over or is the coach maybe going? All right. You know, maybe I'm gonna harbor sent truth with these whole deal, but I just wanna make sure I have a plan here and this. Clemson team that's lost more quarterbacks off season, including. "Hi i'm lisa davis ogata you're listening to the 10 minute marketer i've been filling in for david pollock he will be back soon in the meantime we have the wonderful michael farc i hey michael early girl wonderful regard review we always have such a great time okay so if you missed any of the interviews with michael you can just go to the 10minute marketer dot com and please subscribe read in review it really helps out the show is also lots of other guy interviews artless jump into this i want to talk about some frequently asked questions when you're starting a business now you have a three different businesses you have one that's a c corp or any of an l l c and you have an abc n e f gene i made those of honestly ira serbia this guy you give you like i have is e t y and i'd be like that so tell us about devils andy spice versa and talk to us about your medical education business and then talk about being a contractor and why you chose in different ways whether izzi asir l l c right voted really great question and i think that i wouldn't recommend 'cause they're all bottle on your application would be sold proprietorships and partnerships because really exposed from a liability standpoint whether some more favorable tax considerations again you you you become personally liable so silicon even talk about those two but but corporations are are interesting because they're independent legal entities that can supersede any any particular owner their doors forever until their closed uh and do have the protections of a personal liability but you can also get hit with uh you know a double tax what we call a double tax.
