Life Through Death
"John chapter 12 versus 24 and 25. Truly, truly, I say to you. Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone, but if it dies, it bears much fruit. Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. There's so much we could talk about in these two versus, but just meditate on this principle. If you want to live, you must die. Jesus makes that very clear, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone. But if it dies, it bears much fruit. The key to bearing fruit, the key to experiencing John ten ten abundant life is dying. And specific ways and dying to ourselves in our ways and our preferences, what we want, being crucified with Christ,

Grading the U.S. Rule of Law With Joe DiGenova and Victoria Toensing
"Talk to me about if you had to, if you arrive from another planet? And you were an expert in the law. How would you grade the rule of law in America to David Victoria? Where do we stand? No, it's an F and because not only just the things that are done, but people are watching this and now no longer have trust in the judicial system. With violent crime in New York on a rampage and then this and the Bragg, this is the priority for Alvin Bragg. We've had bad cases in our career of U.S. attorneys being corrupt. And we had one case where U.S. attorney took a misdemeanor local election law and tried to make it be a RICO. But you know what happened? We got a good federal judge who said, this is not, this is not a RICO. This is a misdemeanor and let our client plead to a misdemeanor. Where are those judges now? That's what bothering me. Do they got frightened by January 6th? Especially the judges, the federal judges in the District of Columbia. They got frightened by January 6th, and they don't want to be blamed for being too soft on anybody involved in January 6th. Whether they did harm or not. And as a result of that, they have advocated their responsibility to be fair and impartial to the people appearing before him. Knowing the Shepherd's Voice
"John chapter ten first, 27. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I love John ten. It is filled with such incredible imagery of Jesus as the good shepherd who lays down his life for the sheep and protects them, cares for them. Won't let anyone snatch them out of his hand and in verse 27, I love this picture of my sheep here, my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I think about a shepherd, I heard, share recently, his name is Daryl, and he was sharing about how he leads his sheep and they know his voice. He said, if anybody else were to come and call my sheep to do this or that, the sheep would not respond, but when he speaks they respond. This is what she do. They know the voice of the shepherd, and they follow him. Don't you want that to be true of your life today? Just think about today. We want this every day, but today that you would live, hearing his voice, him knowing you, and you following his voice. You know, it's interesting. I use the illustration sometimes of how obviously we don't know everything Jesus is leading us to do in a given day. Where to go eat if we're going out to eat or what to do in this or that moment. We don't have a word from God in the Bible about every detail of our day today, but that doesn't mean that his voice can't lead us, he's put his spirit inside of us in such a way that when we meditate on his word, that we do have, we study his word, we hide it in our heart. We're getting familiar with his voice so that as we make decisions during the day that we are familiar with the voice of Jesus, we're familiar with his spirit and how he leads us and so to live today, listening to his voice in his word and then following his voice as he leads us by his spirit according to his word.

Jeremy swab and picked up his second straight shutout, stopping 27 shots in the bruins third straight win. It wouldn't be possible without the guys taking initiative in the defensive zone. And blocking big shots all the way to the end. You know, it's special to see with a group like this. Living for Another World
"John chapter 8 verse 23. Jesus said to them, you are from below. I am from above. You are of this world. I am not of this world. What a statement. I love the book of John. I love all these words from Jesus. Every reverse is just, with meaning. It's hard to pick a verse, like John a 12 Jesus says, I'm the light of the world, whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life on a picture. And then, so first 23, so a lesser known saying, you are from below. I am from above. You are of this world. I am not of this world. Just meditate on that. There's another world that Jesus is living for, and he is calling followers of his to live for that world, not for this world. I look around you at the world today and consciously say, I'm not living for this world. I'm not living for the pursuits of this world, pleasures of this world, possessions in this world applause, praise from this world. I'm living for another world.

We Are God's Representatives
"John chapter 7 18, the one who speaks on his own authority seeks his own glory. But the one who seeks the glory of him who sent him is true and in him there is no falsehood. Oh, what a great reverse Jesus talking about the authority of the father on whose behalf he speaks for the glory of the father. It's been the whole theme as you read through John 5 and 6 and 7 in John 5. Jesus describes how he discerns what the father is doing and joins with how the father is working everything he does and everything he says is from the father on the authority of the father for the glory of the father, and it makes sense, right? Just think about when you are talking to someone who's an expert in a subject and they're describing to you basically things that they know because of their expertise and you're like, wow, that person is really sharp. They really know what they're talking about when they speak with authority. It causes glory to come to them, and it's not that that is bad to be an expert or something in ways that show your authority, but this is in a spiritual realm and this is so important for you and me. Think about the great commission. Jesus commands us to go and make disciples of all the nation. On what basis are we to go today and tell people that they need to repent of their sins and believe in Jesus that that's the only way they can be forgiven of their sins and have eternal life with God. On whose authority are you going to say that? Well, that's the great commission, Matthew 28, 18, all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Jesus and we go out as his representatives, so you and I have opportunities today to speak the gospel, not based on our own authority, but based on the authority of Jesus

The Future Geopolitical Order and Bitcoin, Part 2 by Matthew Pines
"Let's go ahead and get into today's read. And this is part two of the future geopolitical order and Bitcoin. And initial assessment. And we are starting in on this section titled. Scenario analysis. What goes on inside is just too fast and huge in all interconnected for words to do more than barely sketch the outlines of it most one tiny little part of it at any given instant. David Foster Wallace every scenario in the arago of Pentagon wargaming starts with assumptions and artificialities, and then presents a ground truth. The former fix the parameters of the notional future, and the latter unpack the salient context and detail to examine the issue under analysis. Our assumptions and artificialities defined over the time horizon of interest. 2022 to 2030. One. Putin does not use nuclear weapons or mass use of chemical weapons beyond irritants in Ukraine. Two. Putin does not get deposed or assassinated. Though he may die of suspected disease, we assume his replacement is another style of Vicki, and won't fundamentally liberalize Russian society or change foreign policy. Three. China does not launch an unprovoked full scale invasion of Taiwan. This doesn't preclude actions against offshore islands like dong Ying, pratas, or other provocative moves in the South China Sea. Four. The Chinese Communist Party remains in power. Most likely with Xi at the helm, but this is not assumed. 5. No new breakthrough technologies or scientific discoveries are made that change the fundamental productivity or energy capacity of society, or destabilize human social order. For example, UAP disclosure. 6. No existing nuclear powers collapse or engage in nuclear hostilities. For example, Pakistan or North Korea, and new nuclear powers, examples of Saudi Arabia and Iran do not engage in nuclear conflict. 7. No debilitating attacks on global Internet infrastructure are launched. This includes cyberattacks, cable cuts to undersea fiber links, destructive anti satellite attacks, et cetera 8. No new COVID variant or other pandemic brings civilization back into a 2020 state of lockdown or worse. 9. The global food fertilizer system does not collapse and lead to multi continent famine, killing more than 5 to 10% of world population. Destabilizing social order throughout the world, including the west. And tin. The United States or Europe for that matter does not experience a political crisis that leads to a breakdown in constitutional order, a fundamental change in the federal structure of government or a secessionist breakaway block of states.

At the end of November of last year, N two money supply did year over year negative growth. Okay, so the last time that happened was 1930 and so this is the 5th time since 1868, that's occurred. 'Superpower in Peril' Author David McCormick Talks About Justice
"As we talk about this rallying cry against China, it has to be an above all approach. And what I like about what you've done in the book is you talk about it in military terms, battle plan, with your experience being in the military. And I want to focus on the specifics of one of the things you mentioned, which is holding China accountable because that's a question about justice, right? Justice for fentanyl, justice for hacking our cyber grid, justice for spying on us, justice for having a spy balloon over our sky. You know, justice for whatever happened in the Wuhan institute of virology, which could have been attributed to sloppiness, but definitely there was a cover up, right? In the days and the weeks that followed, what does justice look like then, David, to hold them accountable and make them pay an appropriate price? Well, I think it starts with calling balls of strikes. And the Biden administration hasn't done that, for example, on the Wuhan lab. And that's a real problem, because you're not constantly bringing forward the things that are unacceptable behavior. And taking steps to mitigate them or taking steps to hold accountable through sanctions or a variety of other things, then that behavior gets validated. And the belief is that that's okay to do again. And so this balloon is another example that should have been handled much more decisively with a clear line established that, hey, this is unacceptable to be over U.S. airspace. And all of these things are part of a leadership under Joe Biden that's very ham handed. It's very uncertain. We saw that in Afghanistan with the bungled withdrawal. We saw that in Ukraine with the Nord stream two and the invitation of Putin. And we see that with the Chinese and the problem with the ham handed and bungling things in a leadership perspective, if you're up against an aggressive opponent, as much easier to have a miscalculation. So you need to be strong. We need to build muscle at home by going to the gym. We also need to reflect strained

Is It Time to Decouple From China? David McCormick Explains
"So provocative idea that some people have floated out that I sympathize with on moral terms, but I also understand that it's rather aggressive is that time to decouple. I mean, there are some really thoughtful people that are talking about economically, that's a harsh measure that would definitely mean that there would be rising costs and probably economic uncertainty. But is that something we should be entertaining or at the very least, you know, identify ten or 20, 30 different sectors. They say we want to make this your thoughts. What I call it in the book is strategic decoupling. And listen, I was shocked, Charlie. I can't believe it. And I know I should follow a no such things, but that our pharmaceutical supply chains during COVID were so dependent on China. I was, you know, I knew we were highly dependent on microchips but 90% of the microchips that we require are manufactured 90 miles from Mainland China in Taiwan. So it is an absolute travesty that we have an entire semiconductor industry which is critical to every aspect of national security and economic well-being that's offshore. So that's a perfect example where we need to decouple. There are a number of areas where we need to bring those capabilities home or have them within our closest allies where we can be dependent on it. And that's going to have implications for our ability to have manufacturing jobs here at home in very positive ways. It may raise costs but it will create actual security.

"Great opportunity to go to the border with someone that really impressed me someone that should be a senator for the great state of Pennsylvania and maybe he'll do something in the future that is exciting because he definitely needs to be in leadership, but he's the author of a great new book, superpower in peril, a battle plan to renew America, and it's David McCormick joins us now. Dave, welcome to the program. Hey, Charlie. Thanks so much for having me. How are you? I'm doing well. Tell us about your new book, Dave. Well, you know, I started the book before before I decided to run for office. I started in 2020. And it was based on the belief that the country was headed in the wrong direction. We were in decline. Economically, national security wise spiritually. And decline is not inevitable, but neither is a renewal. And it depends on what we do. So this is what we should do book. And I got about 60% of it done, and then I ran for office, which you and I visited together then, and then sadly lost. And I could finish the book. And it essentially lays out a plan to educate our people to confront China and to secure America. And it's a very prescriptive book. I think we're only going to win as Republicans and conservatives if we have great candidates, but we have great ideas. And this is my attempt to try to help that debate. Well,

Naz played without Luka Dončić and Kyrie Irving both injured while the grizzlies were again without John morant. Memphis coach Taylor Jenkins says his team up this defensive intensity in the second half. Come out of halftime with just a renewed energy and mentality. Hey, we got to raise our level both sides of the floor. We made a couple adjustments defensively that paid off for us, which got us going with our groove on offense. And obviously that third quarter kind of changed the game. David roddy and Dylan Brooks had 19 apiece from Memphis while Jaden hardy led the Mavs with 28. Josh green at 23. Bob Stevens Dallas. wonderful movie it's called rigged the Zuckerberg funded plot to defeat Donald Trump so he's focused he's focused specifically on Zuckerberg and his 417 $1 million which had an enormous impact in this election Dave bossie how are you my friend Hi I'm fantastic a great one How are you sir I am doing great Tell us about your movie and tell us where people go to watch this movie Well people can go to rig 2020 dot com and stream it live anytime they want And it's a fantastic film It's 40 minutes long markers It can't be much longer than that these days But it is like you said solely focused on Mark Zuckerberg and how he put his thumb on the scale of this election this past November of 2020 And what we prove beyond a shadow of a doubt is the $400 million was run through the Chan Zuckerberg initiative through these two 501c3 nonprofits that are supposed to be nonpartisan and the chief strategist at the Chan Zuckerberg initiative was David plus And we had hard to remind everybody who he is Barack Obama's campaign manager A brilliant strategy Somebody who helped Barack Obama obtained The White House and he understands ruthlessly how to spend money and spend it wisely to help Democrats win And that's what they did They took the Chan Zuckerberg initiative money which was Mark Zuckerberg's money and they ran it through the center for tech and civic life which is this left wing organization Mark It's budget in 2019 was $1 million It's budget in 2020 was $328 million So Zuckerberg fully funded this group run by Tiana S Johnson and Donnie bridges Two people are Obama accolades Tiana S Johnson is an Obama foundation fellow And these are the new organizing institute which is a hardcore left wing organization Is where they came from So that's who's running it That's who's running Zuckerberg's money And so it's like you know some Republican putting money in a C three and saying Dave bossie is going to run it but it'll be nonpartisan It's just not it's not you have no ability to believe it It's not credible So has anybody filed has anybody filed any IRS complaints against this entity Yes That's coming Look the movie's only been out a couple of days There is an ongoing investigation right now into the center for tech and civic life in Louisiana The great attorney general Jeff Landry has an open investigation He just won the appellate court level Got a three zero decision to continue his investigation and now it'll enter into the discovery phase So he's going to go after the emails and the text messages in the phone records in the bank records to figure out how exactly they did it and what their plans were And that will be the blueprint that we could that he and other attorneys general can use around the country Let me just give you a couple of data points to give you an understanding of what I mean by Zuckerberg putting some on a scale The center for tech and civic life gave out 325 million bucks But a 160 of those grants were which totaled $275 million went predominantly to Biden districts And what I mean by that is 92% 92% mark of the $272 million went to Biden controlled districts They drove up the vote they totally controlled the vote in these specific areas all across All right let me walk through this with you Let me walk through it Just in plain English for me So they targeted Democrat heavy Democrat districts to turn out the Democrat What did they do with this money in these districts Did they work with the local government Did they that they put did they direct these local government entities to do something if they wanted the money How did this work That's exactly what they did Mark you're so smart What they did is they gave grants to the secretaries of state and to the county officials and they stipulated that in order to keep the money in order to not return it they because they had clawed back provisions in the contracts They must do the following things And that was to provide drop boxes to assist in ballot curing to do the mail in ballot programs All of these things to help Joe Biden and so in Georgia as an example $45 million went into Georgia But most of any state in the country I wonder why 94% of that 45 million bucks in Georgia went to Democrat Biden districts And they only won by really win there by 10,000 votes And then Arizona in the funded counties versus the unfunded counties in Arizona The Biden funded areas outperformed Hillary Clinton by 700,000 votes Biden didn't even go there Okay this makes the vote totals that Biden allegedly got It's incomprehensible It doesn't make any sense way beyond Obama Way beyond Hillary Clinton the guy wasn't even campaigning in these areas Right And you have Trump who gets a record record vote more than any candidate before and yet Biden gets 70 million votes And what you're saying is at least theoretically And what you're saying is here we have a multibillionaire that put about half a $1 billion give or take into this election through the back door through these grants through this nonprofit organization takes the money targets it with the Obama campaign manager They tell these local city county state election offices You want these big grants And you have here there are over $400,000 each totaling over $270 million then you do what we tell you to do And they had the drop boxes They eliminated signature verification They increased the number of right in votes and on and on and on and on And that is what took place here There's no question And if folks go to rigged 2020 dot com they could see this entire movie We spell it out across the country in Arizona Georgia Pennsylvania Wisconsin We go painstakingly through We have we have experts in each of these states in this film president Trump is in the film but it You know a lot about these voters. And that's not just to persuade swing voters. It's very important that we have third straight cycle. Democrats get good enough. Turn out a to win And understand every district in state has its nuances but i think this this notion that the republicans can get great turnout again is also a question. And that's where i think. Trump basically the atmosphere. At i think a lot of voters particularly his stalwart bands. May say why bother tim miller. Let's talk about mitch mcconnell and a broad question to you one i pretty much know you think about on regular occasion and that is where did this. Nihilism come from Take the case of mitch. Mcconnell a guy who is a complete product of the system. Where did it come from that. He now is okay. Burning the system now. The situation nihilism brennan is is a feature not a bug from its mcconnell at. I don't think that this came naturally from him out of birth. If it came from the fact that this is what republican voters want from him that he realized that he could be nyla stick and get what he and still get what he wanted. Which is power for power's sake if you if you to roll back the clock. Uh to the merrick garland debate the fact that mitch mcconnell got away with that and was able to essentially steal a supreme court seat demonstrated to him that he that he suffers. No political penalty for acts like this and the only way to get mitch. Mcconnell to change his actions is to ensure that he suffers a political penalty. And i think that you saw him change only temporarily but somewhat after the loss in georgia to speaking out against donald trump because he was upset the donald trump cost him political power. And i think. Joe biden and the sec or successful at making mitch. Mcconnell pay politically for shutting down the government or threatening to shut down the government. Then he would back off if he doesn't feel he's gonna pay a political penalty for it and he certainly is not within the republican base. Who just exists to want to cause pain to joe by that. Want to cause pain to chuck schumer then Hill back so the only way to get him to back off. The republican base wants this. If they're demanding the nihilism is to create enough noise in enough signal to turn independent voters and others Against the actions of the republicans and due to turn their numbers down in the pulse they head towards the mid terms. This is why we so appreciate when these two thoughtful friends of our broadcast. Come on to join us and take our questions. Are thanks with that to david bluff and tim miller gentlemen. Thank you both coming up for us. The perspective of a vaccine for kids over five means parents may soon be making some tough decisions unless that is. It's an easy decision during a pandemic.

Your neighbor does wanna love. His neighbor wants to shame them. If they don't do. Don lemon wants There's been blowback even at cnn. About don lemon's monologue That that Cnn whether you think it has or not seen in his internally prided itself not being msnbc but don limited is the male joy reid at this point and wants to shame people over the vaccines won't support the vaccine mandate they're defending the vaccine midday but it's stray voltage steve crackers right and i think he is it. Stray voltage 'cause you know what they're not talking about would. They've expressly ignored what what came out the very next day that no one did a good job of covering remember the retaliatory strike in afghanistan blew up a suicide bomber was revenge for the attack will. The military is now confirming with the media had already reported. We didn't blow up a suicide bomber. We blew up. A charitable worker for an american nonprofit. Who was returning home to his family. After a day at work tried to help get afghans out of the country. Yup true buried news coverage buried his coverage in the media. Didn't wanna touch it. They were so focused on the stray voltage. They were so focused. On the on the vaccine mandate they never had to touch. Let me read you now. For steve crack hours email. I in twenty fourteen major garrett wrote a revealing piece for cbs news on a concept created by david plus of the obama administration illness. Stray voltage. It was employed during the obama years as a way to essentially manipulate the public and the media and it was extremely effective. Stray voltage worked by introducing an idea into the information ecosystem. That was specifically designed to cause controversy as a distraction or diversion or an opportunity. The theory goes like this controversy sparks attention attention provokes conversation conversation and beds previously unknown or marginalized ideas into the public consciousness. Wrote garrett at the time is now picking up checks as a board member for various companies regularly appears on msnbc. He's not part of the bite. Administration sometimes known as obama's third term. Because of how many former obama administration officials are already in the mix and it seems like the stray voltage concept has made its way into the new administration. Last thursday president biden gave a much height- speech with new information about covert rules and regulations that featured what element that has drawn the most attention biden's announcement. He would require all private companies in america larger than one hundred to require kovic vaccines on weekly.

If you'd like to be a part of this year program. Eight seven seven nine seven eric. Eight seven seven nine seven three seven four to five. We've got to begin with. Well what do you want to call it. I'm calling struggled age. You have no idea what i'm talking about. I am about to educate you in ways. You have not been educated before in talk radio. No we're not. We're not talking power issues. And you know i gotta give credit where credit is due Friend of mine is megan kelly producer. He worked at cnn. When i was at seeing any work with piers morgan for awhile. Actually at c. n. steve crack our great guy. Generally good guy has worked on the blaze. Good guy knows the media inside and out and he reminded me he's got an email and he reminded me in his email of david puffs idea of stray voltage. Stray voltage is a political idea. Of you know something bad is coming. You need to distract everybody so nobody pays attention to it. They pay attention to the voltage. 'cause you know stray voltage fire. Things up stirs things up can cause short circuits can can cannot be good and you gotta you gotta pay attention to it. So during the obama years david plus was a strategist for barack obama. He's now on the outside whispering. Joe biden's ear and the years of the administration. He's also a lobbyist but david bluff. Obama would come out and do things that distract people from unfavorable news towards the obama administration. So is the vaccine mandate stray voltage. Steve krakauer wants to know and and it really makes it. S- when you think about the news no one really talked about except for me. I spent some time on fox. News did Lot of media outlets buried it or didn't cover it at all but the the stroll tages the biden administration comes out says we're gonna mandate vaccines for employers one hundred employees or more if you don't wanna take it. You gotta do a nasal swab multiple times a week. Now pay no attention to the fact that osha. The occupational safety health administration or whatever. It is a hazard whatever it is. They don't have the manpower to enforce this. They don't have the manpower for compliance. Don't have the manpower for inspection. They don't have the manpower fort. And there aren't enough supplies out there for unvaccinated people to get tested and it takes a while for the test unless you do the rapid test and then it's still could take up fifteen minutes or longer. It is very very difficult to administer this to implement this. There's no i it's an open question as to whether or not it's constitutional an odd arguably is really not constitutional. But everybody's focused on it everybody's at each other's throat everybody's complaining about everybody's arguing about it you you've got left out there. Bullying people on the right demand. You better take this vaccine or else you've got people in the media Out there really out to shame those who do not do it. I did not play the audio. Here is don lemon yesterday. On cnn editor dave today on cnn. And so i think we have to stop coddling people when it comes to this and the vaccine. Oh you can't shame them. You can't call them stupid. You can't call them. Yes they are the people who ate it in a better trump are stupid because they believed his big lie the people who are not getting vaccines who are believing the lies on the internet instead of science it's scientists are shaming..

"In politics being gracious So that's my take on it. But beyond larry elder This is an extraordinary victory tonight in california. It's overwhelming I think californians know very well what the state's record has been What our values are here And i also think that there are two exhaustion. it's one. Some pandemic of the governor has worked so hard to help bring californians Through it and there's another exhaustion. There's a political exhaustion of divisiveness. Really nastiness We train people. And i think californians rejected that tonight overwhelmingly. It seems as also a lesson tonight about the effectiveness of the mail-in ballot for voter participation. In the past it's been very difficult to get voter. Participation rates up During non presidential elections but every californian received a ballot in the mail and so turn out as we call it really was a matter of for many voters of simply signing their names on those ballots and mailing them back in lawrence. There is something to making it. Easy to vote The ballot came to my home. All i have to do is open the envelope. read it. Vote put it back in the envelope and put it in the mail no stamps. It's already has postage on it. That makes it absolutely the easiest thing to do. I simple as putting a what a stamp on a novel. Honestly so you know when we talk about expanding access to voting it may sound like a bunch of words to some people but you know what those words walk into your life and you make it so easy for people to vote. it really is marvelous. It's come with me come on. We can all do this because we make it easy. What do you make of david plus argument that this is the first election. We've had a statewide anyway. That is really a cova precautions. Election about masks about vaccines well sir. It's an excellent observation. We were. I was worried about the mood. People were in california somewhere looking You know to be angry at someone because their life is changed people. I mean our lives have been abandoned by this where i live in the bay area Very first in the entire nation to shut down so people have a great deal. People have been through a great deal. But i think.

"I think it is important. So lawrence You know the campaign knew some campaign day. Believe that almost eighty percent of the people are gonna vote in this election are going to be vaccinated much higher than the vaccination right in california which is already quite high compared to many states. So i think you wanna you wanna drive that so you're in the last week of the campaign. We're doing two things. You're trying to execute on voter turnout whether that be impersonal or by mail ballot and there are still some people are undecided you know based on the polls or maybe four to five percent of the people aren't sure so i think drive a message i think what is interesting. By the way lawrence's this is a precursor to twenty two twenty four. You're already starting to see. Some republican elected officials. Some of the clowns on at the insurrections network fox news already saying well. Newsome survives this It's because it was wrecked and so the notion that somehow this was only twenty twenty. This is gonna be in front us at least for the next two election cycles and we need to prepare ourselves because if that anti-democratic side of the republican party would gain power They will challenge contest every election. I think that's what you're gonna see. Knock on wood gavin newsom a little more than seven days from now seven days. A few hours survives the recall. I think you're gonna see almost a unanimous chorus across the republican party. Sadly certainly it's more extreme. Elegance and propaganda wing led by fox saying it was voter fraud But yeah. I think they should really They are they're laid out leading with the vaccine and whatever we do vaccine. And i think that's really really important Because those are probably too high stakes people can get their arms around right now. Some movement gonzales. Is there a kind of closing message. A to latino voters to get that response. I think there is. I think you know our community was hit. The hardest by the pandemic healthwise unemployment wise trying to deal with childcare and everything that happened this past year but for all the steps that gavin newsom took we are in a better spot than we would have been in any other state in. We know we lived through of course four years of fear under the trump administration. We cannot go backwards and we're talking about the bread and butter issues for the community. Things like good jobs and health character. The assess ability to to make a better life for your children gavin. Newsom someone who's going to deliver on that larry elder will take us back two days. We know in. California is a pete wilson days. What we know in california is the last forty years of donald trump trying to do that but we have the garden california. We had people at avenue some protecting us. And so i think would latinos. We have to remember what's at stake. It's not just the vaccines. It's not just getting back to work. It's not just getting back to full. It's being safe keeping people from dying having healthcare having good jobs. Good union jobs the ability to to make a live for your family. That's what's at stake. We've been able to live the california dream but that's because of democrats in our community knows that they're not going to get fooled by some republican coming in to get rid of a governor that in let's not forget. The people who started the recall. Were very clear. They didn't do this about kobe. They didn't do this about avenue. Some going to dinner. They did this. Because gavin newsom stood up for immigrants. This was all about the immigrant agenda that california had to fight back against trump in the latino community knows that they have to be reminded that and they will come out and vote to to maintain avenue some governor. We will be reporting. Actual vote counts. Exactly one week from tonight. California assemblywoman loretta gonzales and david. "Of the vote. David puff joins us next in. Just two weeks. California voters will decide. Democratic governor gavin. Newsome's fate in just the second recall election in the state's history. Twenty two million registered voters in california have already received their ballots for the september fourteenth election. Each ballot includes two questions. Do you want to recall governor. Newsom and two if the governor is recalled. Who do you want to replace him. Forty-six candidates qualified for the replacement ballot. If more than fifty percent of registered californians vote no on the first question if more than fifty percent vote. Yes on the first question. Removing governor knows some governors and will be removed from office and will be replaced by the candidate who receives the most votes on question to even if that vote. Total is tiny. That person could be. Larry elder republican. Larry elder the los angeles talk radio host. Stephen miller's mentor according to a recent yougov cbs. Poll larry elder is leading the field with twenty three percent. That twenty three percent could be more than enough to make trump supporter. Larry elder the next governor of california. If governor gavin newsom is recall joining us now is david plus former campaign manager and white house senior advisor to president barack obama. He is an msnbc political analyst. David the polls. Look steve tonight. It looks like a close call. On whether gavin newsom will be recalled. While into i would say you know if you look at the polls i think. They've opened up a little bit for newsom in conversations. I've had with with their campaign. They feel like it's opened up a little bit. "My is down my throat and the sound is terrible. And i'm being electrocuted. If i'm just in that thing and sharing it fully with the audience they could get off even that this week on wise is happening. Search for wise is happening wherever you're listening right now and subscribe regarding the final days of the war in afghanistan the atlantic. David rothkopf writes this. Joe biden doesn't own the mayhem on the ground right now. What we're seeing is the culmination of twenty years of bad decisions by the us political and military leaders. If anything americans should feel proud of what the us government and military have accomplished in these past two weeks. President biden deserves credit. Not blame that with us tonight. David plus for obama campaign manager and senior adviser to the president and tim miller our contributor to the bulwark and a former communications director for jeb bush. Good to see a gentleman. Miller you agree. Should joe biden beginning more credit for finally getting america out of afghanistan. was pretty delusional. Chris i'm sorry. Say whatever you think about horn afghanistan that there's a lot of one of really good and credible reasons why we shouldn't have been there to start with. I think the job. I was probably right. I entering the obama administration when he said we should have been getting out there and he's been consistent with us for many years and i don't really have any quarrel with that i think. In retrospect with hindsight twenty twenty. I think that makes sense. But what we've seen over the last two weeks. I think of a gives me grave concern about his political standing going forward and i have real humanitarian concerns about the people. We've left behind. You know we don't exactly know how many people there one hundred two hundred people. This is a big wild card that the president has left himself You can imagine and we can hypothesize all the worst case scenario could happen in the coming weeks and months and you know i. I hope that it ends up being clean. I hope that his plan to have ninety seven countries working together with the taliban who even the president says he doesn't trust a can get people at diplomatically. That think this is a big gamble. and and he promised it we're going to get people out and and we really do need to get the americans out and and in addition to that. I think that we fell down on our bargain to a lot of men and women that helped us over the last two decades. David you know better than anybody. That what tim miller says is right in terms of this is a president who was consistent. I'm sure he was consistent. In the obama administration. He's been consistent since he absolutely believes that history will judge him well on this but what about the point that he has left himself and the united states and our allies. Who are still. They're exposed first of all chris. There was no good time to get out. There was always gonna be issues And that's one of the reasons we stayed for so long So i think the the big thing here from the american public stamp. When is they wanted this to be over. Joe biden delivered on a core commitment from his presidential campaign. There's no question. The americans left behind They've spoken to that today. The administration they're going to stay with it. We've got intelligence assets. They're working with allies. So of course seeing that through is gonna be really important and continuing to help afghans. Who wanna leave do that as well But but let's talk about the politics here. If the republicans who are running for senate and governor and house next year this time twelve months from now are going to make this the centerpiece of art their campaign that we should have stayed there longer. Maybe we should have sent more troops. That's not going to happen okay. And so so. The substantive part of this is critically important. I think they've done an amazing job over the last two weeks thinking that they're not gonna talk about the withdrawal. They know that the majority of the american people are for the withdrawal. But they might talk about the way that it happened. In fact they're already talking about it. So you can't conflate the to really it's about how this was pulled off and we don't know what's going to happen in the days weeks months to come right. Well the republicans are largely talking to friendly microphone. Okay they're shooting political free. Trust okay so. Campaigns are not that their political combat usa. Something your opponents going to say something else. And so i think at the end of the day. They're not going to argue that they're going to try and it both ways are going to criticize Last couple of weeks without trying to take ownership on what they would have done there. There's a bigger picture here. Tim miller congressman ruben. Guy go set earlier today. Look that he's tired of hearing from People like general portraying mcmaster coming in and talking like they're not part of the problem That this tragedy that started under bush and went through four administrations and in fact at least give president biden some credit forgetting out. That's the other side of the argument. You're making right that he made the best of a bad situation that developed over twenty years secretions. Did he make the best of events situation. I'm not sure. I don't know what david laid out is going to play out the politics. Look i voted for president. I want president vying to succeed. I wanted this withdrawal effort to succeed. Even if i'm gonna disagree with him from time to time on the politics being a former republican. I'm deeply concerned about this as a political and strategic matter and so. I think that you sure that that. Hr mcmaster made plenty of mistakes in the trump administration and we could spend all night talk to talking about the bush administration to stakes. And i know a lot of democrats like to peg me with that code for jeb. Have the child during bush administration. I'm happy to say i agree with you. One hundred percent that the bush administration may grave grave interest in foreign policy twenty years ago but he was delta bat. Handed need to play the hand that he was dealt. And and. and you know if you're gonna if we're leaving people who are american citizens in afghanistan the hands of the taliban. I'm worried that that's playing a bad hand badly. And that's the part that worries position. I hope i'm wrong. I hope that the using our intelligence assets our diplomatic partners this administration can can prove me wrong over the next twelve months But i think they're taking a big political risk. And i think pretending otherwise would be would be folly at if you're a democrat. That wants to succeed are thanks to david. Puffins tim. miller appreciate you both coming up. "I think the president This is going to be staying on this president and his presidency. And i think he's going to have blood on his hands for what they did. Republicans were largely quiet. When president joe biden fest announce he would stick to donald trump's plan to withdraw troops from afghanistan. And of course they were quiet. Biden was implementing a deal that they're dea alita had agreed to is not right former secretary of state. Mike pompeo seen here last november with mullah abdelghani barra the head of the taliban's negotiating team and now the head of afghanistan but as far as republicans are concerned now. This is an opportunity to drop. America's longest war started by republicans into the laps of democrats congressman. Mike johnson louisiana is talking about giving it the benghazi treatment if they win back the house next year. This makes benghazi look like a much smaller issue. This maybe one of the worst and most consequential foreign policy national security disasters in history. There'll be a lot of answers to seek an questions to be on that. I think it will be a top priority. And senator lindsey graham. The man who refused twice vote to convict donald trump. he's now threatening to impeach. Joe biden over afghanistan if we leave any americans behind if we leave thousands of those afghans who fought along our side behind bravely. Joe biden deserves to be impeached for hire crime and misdemeanor up dereliction of duty if we leave one america behind if we don't get all those afghanistan afghans who stepped up the plate and help us out than joe biden in. My view is committed a crime and misdemeanor under the constitution and should be impeached. David plus was a white house senior adviser for president barack obama from twenty seven to two thousand thirteen and he joins me now. David thanks so much for coming on the show. This evening you experienced republican bad faith attacks over benghazi from inside the obama white house. Are you surprised they want to try. And use the same playbook against the bite. What else with afghanistan. No not at all. I mean this sort of clown. Car was predictable. Yeah i mean they were convinced. Abundancy would deny brock obama a second term and let's on Afghanistan medi the only question. Is this time next year. In twenty twenty two are the republicans running for senate and house so they gonna make the centerpiece of their campaign afghanistan. That we should have stayed there that we should have senate additional trips of course not so. They've all got coverage on cable but they know where their voters are and at the end of the day. I don't think this that doesn't mean by the way that there's not significant issues around the execution getting those americans out getting up danny's out but the politics of it just speaking about that. The american people are clear about this. And let's not you know back in. You might remember john mccain said he would stay in iraq for one hundred years that became a centerpiece of our camping. Wasn't just been ghazi. Mitt romney up really made the centerpiece of his campaign. Criticizing barack obama for the drawdown of troops in afghanistan. So we've seen this before so no. I think this is a bunch of hot air. Now if they went back to the house and senate and they really start impeachment proceedings. I think they'll pay a political price for that. But that's something of significance. Lindsey graham said but no we've seen this movie before and they're speaking to the third of the country that basically believed anything they'll say wants to live in a fantasy world courage on cable. That should be the title of lindsey graham's autobiography but putting republicans to one side for a moment. Let's talk. Democrats ryan cooper writes in the week that it will be democrat to benghazi biden because quote not one not two not three but four different democrat controlled congressional committees have an answer for that they will open investigations into the withdrawal three in the senate one in the house. Dave a lot of these senate and house. Democrats were quiet when the pentagon papers came out in two thousand nine thousand nine hundred showing how disastrous the war was why they're helping republicans. Make this into a joe biden problem rather than george bush barack obama donald trump problem. Yeah well listen. I think when it does settles here. Hopefully they'll deal with the results will say this. Democrats believe in government. We believe in facts. we believe in accountability. It's not just a theory of politics so But if it's done responsibly and does take that twenty year arc and listen. I was part of discussions. You had been roads on earlier around afghanistan. there was no good time to make this move. You're gonna have issues Now i think what we need to really focus on now. Between out of the end of august. I agree with ben. Probably that needs to go deeper in september. If we execute well I think we can really go a long way to satisfy some of the valid concerns people. Ask about what. We're seeing on the ground in afghanistan but democrats needed to do this responsibly And if they do maybe there's some value coming out of it. But i think democrats also like. Let's not just chase headlights. Not let's not chase cable news appearances. Let's be thoughtful about this so david. Here's a letter from over. Forty three hundred veterans including one hundred and fifty four afghanistan saying l. Support for the president's decision to leave is as resolute as ever the right thing to do and how many people in the chattering class to claim otherwise and yet. Joe biden is again on the defensive. Today i wonder why. Republicans on the defensive over one of their supporters trying to attack the capital yesterday and charged today with threatening to use of weapons of mass destruction. Why called democrats ever the kind of ruthless body contact politics. Republicans do all the time while it's a fair question. So i think part of the republican ardor for afghanistan and really trumping this up excuse the pun on is because of the shadow of january six You know and..

You just have to be on the side of not dying from a deadly disease and not seeing your democracy disintegrate in front of you right. Allie threats to our democracy to the existence of this country. Hal through ability to this pandemic can get ready for the next one. He's our existential so yes i love it. Democrats got two thirds of the vote everywhere. That's not going to happen. We need to be realistic about this. No are structural reasons that the minority has too much power in this country. Gerrymandering the way. We like the united states senators electoral college right now. We have about two thirds of the country that entirely dry republican primary partners and the activists get all their information from you know sinclair and breitbart. Vox who are holding us back. On beating this pandemic on a dealing with climate change on dealing with The gun carnage in this country on immigration reform. Unsafe our democracy on all of these things. And i think there's a there's a lot of things spilled in this country understandably saying we're too divided to get anything done. I think politicians might be divided. The amazing thing is on most of the issues. Should people get vaccine. Should we one master. The pandemic joe buying win the election. Climate change real. And should we do something about it. Should we thousand assault weapons ban. Should we have a pathway to citizenship. For immigrants two-thirds eighty percent of the people agree on. And so yeah. I think the question will be for voters who don't agree with what the hard core the republican base is doing. The quarter forever trumpers. Are they gonna show twenty two and twenty four and say for these couple elections working inside with you. Then we can go back to fighting about healthcare coverage tax rates and all the things that team point right which which is fine. Yeah that'd be happy to have those conversations again eddie. You're the chair of the department of african american studies. We don't often have you necessarily to talk about that. But there's something about this one quarter or one third of deniers or whatever you wanna call them. There's a lost causing us about this. It's like the other side of the civil war. The anti masks stuff the big lie in the election now the politicization ation of vaccines. It's a sense that it's us and our lifestyle and our culture that you all are imposing something on absolutely alley in some ways they're the new redeemers and the new redeemers. Of course are those. The redeemers were those persons who were trying to roll back the victory of the civil war. Trying to in some ways Block the way to the us becoming a multiracial democracy and of course they were successful in that regard. The south may have lost but the loss. 'cause continues to in some ways animate our politics. But i wanted to add something to what david said because i think he's right that one third has had the country by the throat For generations but that one third is only powerful because among the two-thirds there are those who are willing to coddle them. There are those who are willing in some ways to stand by silently as the pro slavery folk define the politics of the nation and pass the fugitive slave law of eighteen eighteen fifty and force slavery as a national issue to say folks in boston and chicago must return those who have escaped slave. There are those who aren't the members of the kkk who weren't rabid segregationist. But who who were so. Were sit. Who were a with the way in which jackson mississippi was organized. And there. Those folks like joe manchin and kirsten cinema who are coddling in the name of a commitment to a procedural rule. so it's not only the one third. it's those portions the members of the two-thirds who are willing to stand silently by as the one third grabs the country by which gives them more power than you would think one third or one quarter of the population typically. Have i the nonsense. That's coming out of people who i didn't associate with nonsense in the past. I assumed associated them with ideological beliefs that we're not exactly the same as mine but we could always debate them David is fascinating to listen for a second. At what rand paul Posted a video to twitter today unless it on the other side. It's time for us to resist. They can't arrest all of us. They can't keep all of your kids home from school. We don't have to accept the mandates lockdowns and harmful policies of the petty tyrants bureaucrats. We can simply say no not again. We will make our own health choices. We will not show you a passport. We will not wear a mask. We're not forced into random screenings at testings. So you can continue your drunk with power rain over the capital. No-one should follow the cdc's anti-science mask mandates. I don't even know to say. David i mean he's talking about resisting and petty tyrants and all this other man educated in science by the way i wouldn't have guessed that but where does the energy for this come from where it's not just the right fringe to eddie gloves point. It's not just the right fringe. It's people who were otherwise mainstream conservatives. Libertarians who have gone over and crossed over some line into ridiculousness well. And that's the united states senator. We're talking about so. Of course there's a category of the quarter two third. That actually believe all this stuff. You know Then there's a bunch of people who are just following the ball like you're at a five year old soccer game like where's the ball going where the primary voters want whereas tucker carlson go whereas laura ingram going at. I think there's a lot of people cowardly who fall into that category. And i think that he makes a great point. Visit a crossroads for america. It's not hyperbole to say the democracies of duration of could be coming to a close it's not hyperbole to say we may not Survive this pandemic the way. We should have much less. Get rid of the double. It's not hyperbole to say we may not lead the world to save the planet so that will require the people in that other two-thirds who know better who believe that we are democracy. Who who don't believe the big lot who believed public health professionals who believe science to say you've not with the democrats than anything. These people make pair price rand. Paul's the woman what's happening here is they are speaking into this distorted perverse a world. That's created for them by fox a by sinclair by newsmax. That is their world. That's the mirror that they look into every day and they get applauded for these crazy infantile dishonest things they say In until they really pay a price at the ballot box. Let's not forget. Donald trump of all people almost won reelection. There has to be a real reckoning and twenty two election has to be the beginning of it because if you get people like rand paul out all the power you better turn out the.

And it's why we're here to demand passage of the four. The people act no political intimidation. No domestic terrorists are going to stop us from doing our job and our job right now is to protect the freedom to votes. Our job was to the nation and bring people to washington dc. Because just by chance. If we came together we would not only get the senate to hear us. We will also get them to act elected democrats from across the country who descended on the us capital today pressure. Congress to pass voting rights protections with the filibuster leeann place congress remains deadlocked even as republicans jammed through an alarming number suppression laws at the state level at last count by the brennan center. "The money for kind of a win win. So the politics of this are pretty glenn. Listen there's no question if the republicans win back the senate in twenty after twenty two or twenty four point they will mitch. Mcconnell will say we're getting rid of the filibuster whether the democrats do or not so. I think what we need to understand here is democrats have to use all the power they have. They help all the people they can't and that's he's point the economy. I mean some of the debate lost would suggest that the economy is perfect at everybody's got the job and the wage they want and our roads and bridges and infrastructure. Broadbands word is. We've got big problems in this country and so this is less about stimulus than been finally during the long hard of things we need to do. Delay that position but again. I think sometimes it seems like it parties. Wash play by different rules or one parties playing by some arcane nice roles and once playing by nobles and i think we have to use the power. We have again to help as many people as we can. Well that's that rule bets. I think the american rescue plan right is is a great example of that like they passed to quickly. They pass it a party line vote. The money went out. And we've got lots of evidence to show that it has helped a lot of people and biden's approval rating sixty percents. That seems like the proof is in the pudding. I have a lot of evidence that all the stimulus efforts that have been done to get out of this pandemic or why. Gdp is almost fully recovered. And why were seeing people being able to get back to work. I know that it's not all happening as fast as people would like but it is happening and now what we need to do to get back to david just saying we need to fix the problems that were there. Prior to the pandemic infrastructure. Bill de american families plan. These are about fixing the problems we had prior to the pandemic luke. Republicans have an economic vision for the country that they've been executing for the last thirty years don't have any tax increases. Bring our revenue down as low as possible and let people fend for themselves and people are sick of that. They're fed up and they were sick of it. Before the pandemic they want an economy that works better for them with more infrastructure with more support and also biden's proposing david plus betsy stevenson. "If we can't become. I've always said this i've never seen a pothole that had republican democrat name on It'll bust you tired and who you are. I haven't changed. I'm not changing. Senator manchin often cites the legacy of his predecessor. Robert byrd to defend his staunch support of bipartisanship. But a former counsel to bird argues. Even the late senator would say times have changed in a new york times column. Ira shapiro writes quote. The filibuster should not shape the workings of the senate but the other way around for bird and the other senators of his era. The overriding goal was to ensure not the certain rules were respected above. All else bought that the senate could deliver for the nation. Even if it meant reforming rules like the filibuster still with us. Our david plus and michael steele lucky for us to inside and david t you again and Is there a way this could work. Better should a guy like joe manchin be among titular democrats arguably the second most important guy in washington. Is there a workaround for hamlet on the hill. Well at the end of the day. Brian there just has to be recognition. Senator manchin centrum cinema any others with any concerns there. we're not living in reality. You talk about You don't we need to get sixteen votes including ten republicans on infrastructure passage or on a taxes or protecting our democracy. It should not going to happen. So it's a simple choice. Either you wanna filibuster and strengthen our economy save our democracy of make progress issues like immigration reform or you. Don't there is no third option. There is not we're gonna do it You know just democrats we can do it with some revolt On any of these questions. That's just not where we are to them and again. Back to our previous discussion brian. The stakes could not be higher so we end up going deep ends of this year or calendar. You're not passing. The people. Act the john. Lewis morning at You know democracies of i think Wake up in. This country can probably be counted down at years. Decades are in so. This could not be more urgent. But you're not gonna get ten republican goto. I didn't think on the infrastructure package or you can do is try and buy goodness joe biden jovovich. And everybody's trying to get republicans infrastructure and some point. You have to call the question but that goes for these other issue but the most important thing in front of us is the effort and the necessity to save democracy. And you don't live in a world where you're going to get ten republican votes in the senate for any of that maybe one or two. So you're gonna have to be willing to get whether the filibuster to save the country. That's the choice. michael are. David just said some powerful stuff there and michael. You know the argument as well as anybody else. The argument against touching the filibuster is be careful. What you wish for. And wait till you see mitch. Mcconnell driving the train if indeed Power flips in the senate. So where do you come down on the argument. That david just beautifully laid out very well done. And but here's the reality harry. Reid blew up a little portion of the filibuster And and got the president obama's a nominee through for certain judgeships and cabinet appointments. Okay and then guess what happened on. The backside of the mcconnell came around and blow it up to get judicial appointments in place and so. That's the tit for tat that everyone politically is concerned about. This is not about some historic lynch pin to you. Know the honor and glory of the filibuster. This is just raw politics and it's kind of like who's standing. That has their their finger on that button. That can push it one way or the other but david is exactly right. The country is looking for more than that right now and tell me exactly what happens again if the filibuster goes away. Because you know if mitch mcconnell were in chuck schumer's.

"There's a bit of controversy, as there always is. Way will tweet out. We will tweet out shortly when we can. The CNN story Nancy Pelosi up on Capitol Hill members of Congress honoring right now as we speak. They now late Officer U. S. Capitol police officer Brian Sick Nick on very unusual step being taken by the Congress to honor the police officer once before to place. Officers were shot to death defending the capital decades ago now, and they, too, were honored in the Capitol Dome as Brian Sick, Nick officer sick, Nick Is being honored today. But I've got to stay just for the sake of clarification and clarity here. CNN finally got around to doing some reporting on this Evan Perez and and they spoke to people who are familiar with the autopsy results. And so on, and the CNN people wrote board today. Investigators believe that early reports that he was fatally struck by a fire extinguisher are not true. And they say also that there is no evidence of blunt force injury there from the autopsy and that he went back to his office after the Malay and collapsed there was taken to the hospital died later and that the initial reporting certainly was that stroke was the was the cause of death nonetheless. CNN also reports in this story that we will tweet out for for your reading pleasure. Another man allegedly threw a fire extinguisher at a group of police officers striking three In the head, and after David says that it was leaked to CNN for political purposes. Now that guy who threw that fire extinguisher was arrested, he's been arrested, and I know that because I saw his name and he's a retired firefighter. Ironically, perhaps, but that individual who threw the fire extinguisher was arrested. Those three officers were hitting it, says three officers hit in the head. With one fire extinguisher from one throw, and I've seen the video of that. But that individual that through the fire extinguisher has rightly been arrested on will correctly face charges for for committing his crimes. Now with that, said We have, um, we have a bunch of audio that I'd like to get to as well. And some crazy stories because these people are crazy. Let's do well. Let's do the First Amendment thing right now, Since we were just talking about that CNN legal analyst Pan for claiming quote you don't have a first Amendment right to lie you none of first member right to life. Then what are we going to do with all those people with Russian collusion, and John Brennan went on television and said that President Trump Well, I had committed treason. And then he tried to understand what he had just said Bye bye, trying to figure out the words that he had used any failed because he's dangerously ignorant person. And a corrupt prison. CNN legal analyst raised eyebrows Tuesday by suggesting on the air that lying is not protected by the First Amendment. Remember, remember Magilla gorilla on CNN who went to law school? He's got a law degree. He's a lawyer. Jennifer Rogers was quick to dismiss the legal arguments being made by former President Donald Trump's lawyers ahead of next week's Senate impeachment trial. Those arguments include the theory that it's unconstitutional to impeach a former president, that is to say a private citizen. This is a Fox news story. Those arguments inside those arguments that Trump had the right to make his remarks January 6 rally before pro Trump rioters stormed the capital. Now, here's John King with their legal expert, their legal analyst. Where do they find these people? Honestly, I guess on campuses is the correct answer, And they really are fundamentally ignorant and their ignorance always tends to skew, delete tens, their ignorance always used toward the UN American. You don't have the right to have a firearm. That's another one. I'll get to that. In a minute to Nancy Pelosi wants to find members of Congress thousands of dollars for exercising their second Amendment rights in the capital, where they swear an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. Right. This is this is our Congress, Here's John King and Jennifer Rogers on their their fundamental misunderstanding of the First Amendment, and and these air legal expert and a, you know, five decades. Journalists, and they both sit there saying, Yeah, First Amendment doesn't know if you're lying. It doesn't protect you, Counselor. Let me start with you. This is the 14 page brief filed by the president's lawyers. It says number one. This is unconstitutional because he is a former president. It says Number two that he has a first Amendment right to speak, and therefore, he said, things that are rallying people attack the capital. We can't hold him accountable. Yeah, Those were wrong on Dare countered by the very long brief the house wild earlier today, you don't have a first Amendment right to lie. You don't have a first Amendment right to put people in danger on. He did both of those things you don't have. A first member right to lie within. CNN is in very deep trouble. Very deep trouble. Indeed, In fact, most of our news media is an extremely deep trouble. Remember. You remember McGill, a gorilla. He went to law school. I think it's Fordham didn't go to Yale for undergrad because his dad was the guv'nor Papa Doc Cuomo of the Cuomo organized crime. Kim. Many got his law degree at Fordham, and then he became a multi million dollar a year news anchor and a goes on television and says stuff when that left is riding and burning our cities. And they're reporting that it's mostly peaceful and police stations are having their doors glued shut, and they set them on fire, hoping to burn all the place to death inside. This is a pretty normal stuff in today's Democrat Party, and McGill, a gorilla came on when somebody so they're riding. This is all violent and he's like, Hey, no, they're just, you know good Democrats, please. Show me where it says that protesters supposed to be polite and peaceful. Ah, well, it would be in the First Amendment to the Constitution. That's the bill of rights, and that's the That's the first one. If you're ever going to get around to reading, he's got a law degree. He went to law school. He's a big news anchor, and the First Amendment is a complete mystery to him. He has no idea What the words are in there. If he did try to read them out loud, his lips would be moving and hey, don't Bob. What peaceably Assemble. What does that mean? So they used the words, but they don't know what they mean. And if we're going to hold the first Amendment doesn't protect lying. Well, what we got there is, of course, Hillary Clinton. Saying that Army major Democrat member of Congress now former Tulsi Gabbert of Hawaii. Eyes, a Russian secret agent to Russian asset. I think they've got their eye on somebody who's currently in the Democratic primary. She's the favorite of the Russians. Yeah, she's a Russian asset. I mean, totally. It's also gathered tells you gathered as a Russian asset, and that's David plus of the Obama White House, snorting with joy back there. They just They lie about everything even more lives because there's so many lines they devised. Just keep on coming. We were just going to have people say truthful things on this show and not allow false statements are should be five minutes long as opposed to three hours. So so two hours and 55 minutes, our lives and five minutes accidental truth every now and then they stood, they trip over them, but that's the That's the thing. The Constitution does not say that a person can shelter Yeah, Wolf in a crowded theater. That's exactly right. See her brain. She's firing on no cylinders. She has no cylinders to fire on. As you can't yell Wolf in a crowded theater. It's the boy who cried Wolf. Fire in a crowded theater. These air our national political leaders in the Democratic Party and in the media, is there is there not bright people. I I keep pointing this out again. You don't have a first Amendment right to lie, right? You know, the first member. They think that the First Amendment protects their speech and nobody else's. That's it's pretty remarkable stuff, honestly. They're leading the country right now. The house the Senate Uh, the White House. I'm telling you crazy. They're crazy people. Uh Hmm. And then there's white privilege. I I really love white privilege. Because I'm white so naturally enjoy white privilege..

"Look, I think that I'm glad recline deleted his tweet. I'm not surprised by David plus comment. I do think, though, that one of the things we need to respect about this moment. You know, this said, because you pay attention to media is and I've been waiting for it. The issuance of strange new respect. Every Republican who departs from office, the ex presidents, they received strange new respect. The ex candidates received strange new respect that Romney the most evil man, you could possibly come across. He's bent on giving people cancer and stealing your birth control and all these other things the instant he becomes not a threat. The people. Oh, well, he's a statesman is the model of a statesman? Every Republican should be like him. Look, this is a situation that we're going to see again and whatever you can think of in this moment, you know that No one's going to be treated as badly as Trump has been tweeted that they're treated, etcetera that is going to happen. And you can already see the initial frames of it. You know the danger of Senator Josh Holly. He's like a smart version of Trump. You know that kind of thing. It Z That is going to be their tone about whoever emerges as the standard there in 2024. It will also be this person is tainted because Presumably, you know Trump would support them, You know, in a general election, and that just shows you how evil and racist they must be. This destructionists attitude is fundamentally an American. It is an empathetic Alito everything with we believe about ourselves and our capacity to resolve our differences via elections on which should be rejected. It's such it's just I mean, I'm disgusted by it, and I wish that we would have a more mature media and more mature me political conversation that recognizes that These people aren't evaporating tomorrow. They're still here. They're still Americans. And we have to find a way forward together, even if it is with the dysfunctional family tension or something on those. We only have 60 seconds left. But I have to ask you because I can't believe you said it. I wanna make sure I had it right. Do you really think that after leaves office, Trump will be given the respect that Mitt Romney Woz? He won't be given that but it'll be whoever comes next. They're worse than trump because they're more dangerous Their savior. They're smarter. They'll be able to manipulate power more effectively than him, and it'll be something along the lines of say what you will about Donald Trump. But he didn't have this aspect to him. He was young.
