Rust scores in shootout to give Penguins 3-2 win over Blues
"The bank was pulled within four points of the metropolitan division leading hurricanes by downing the blues three two in a shoot out Bryan rust provided the deciding shootout goal allowing Tristan Jarry to pick up his thirtieth win at school is something that you don't really think about that when it happens it's it's pretty cool that happens it's kind of like a little milestone but I think there's still a lot of work and so a lot of games left so I hope to have a lot more Jerry made twenty three saves in regulation or no T. before thwarting all for St Louis shoot out attempts Mike Matheson and Chad Ruhwedel scored in regulation for Pittsburgh Ivan Barbashev and David Perron scored for St Louis and Billy who saw made forty three saves the blues remain second in the central division three points ahead of the wild and predators I'm Dave Ferrie

"The Great North? There's only one there's only one great one I hate to name is. Robert told me never to namedrop. But it's Gretz. Okay all right the Wayne. Douglas Gretzky the sometimes great turnpike the birthday boy. How did you celebrate? I celebrated the best way possibly could had a day that We had carpet guy came in early in the morning. I had to move a lot of stuff around to make sure that that was done right and try to help at least a little bit because he does all the work in the house. Sounds really blurry so far. You like in this so far and but but then I got to go and be with my My granddaughter Little Charlie for several hours went for lunch and what's called the cloven the bee or the bee in the clove. Or something like that. You know the place right beside olive and oak great spot and then Then went home a little rest have little nap and then I went out to dinner. We went to Katie's pizza and brought it again back to my daughter's place where I could again spend a little time with my little granddaughter. Charlie see that's kind of where we're at right now at fifty six years of age so I a couple of glasses of red wine. You don't look deal over. I'd say about fifty two that I was thinking is in forty-eight all right well happy birthday everybody. I'm sure you'll get a fine salute from the fans and changes are in the air and blues have been losing. There's no doubt a lot of close games to. Let's talk about Craig. Ruby's role because coach. You can't hit a panic button. The players know what you start tweaking lines. Maybe even say you know. Let's try something new. How does it coach balance that? I think it's a tough balancing act. And and especially on the heels of everything that happened with Jay Bouwmeester and You know the players finding out that Jas J. was good that night. That made them feel better. You still have the next day. You've got the next day. I mean there are still some some emotions that went on there so I think there's maybe a little I'm not going to say it's hard to say this with chief nurturing but a little bit more you know. Let's go boys. Let's maybe maybe a little bit. More pats on the back and a little bit more. Give confidence that way and I thought their last two games were really really good. I love the game here I was. I was wasn't sure what was going to happen. And you know what I think that emotional tribute to j caught the players a little off guard you know. I think they knew that something was going on as you're watching it. I'm watching the bench because I'm between the benches and I'm seeing some emotion. And when you see that you're like whoa houses game when star is GonNa Start on. Fire is going to start where you're just going to be a battle to hell and everybody's going to be hitting everybody is going to be slow and it was slow and I thought national was unbelievable in that first part so I give the blues credit for finding a way to get that sandpaper back and I always i. I like using that and I think we've talked about that. What John McEnroe used to do in his career when he wasn't playing well he yelled at. The referee broke racket. He he did something to get himself negative to positive and I think the blues did that. They manufactured energy and Brayden. Schenn doesn't just fight somebody to fight somebody. He fights somebody good to make a difference. He fought member. Gabriel Landis Gawk at center ice years ago when the blues were really struggling. So that's a top player on Colorado. He Fights Filip Forsberg top player on on Nashville and I thought that got everybody going as well and he knows how to get a fight. He started that. Fight any fours to fight and then obviously knew that they were going to get him back. After the after the suspension he took on Arvidsson so that fight happened so I think they manufactured something really good in that game and then I thought they played a heck of a game. Sunday in Nashville. I mean let's face it. That should've gone to overtime. They gotta find a way to get those points back. I think the shocking thing isn't the losing that's been going on but the fact they still have a piece of the division lead and it speaks to the pad that they had Brayden Schenn said. It's a little humbling right now when you look at the standings but basically now it's on last quarter of the season. Dallas isn't going anywhere Colorado's not going to wear it. It should be a hell of a lot of fun. Pretty good spot to be in though. Isn't it yeah that Kinda pad that you could use and of twelve and you're still on top? I kept looking at the standings still and I still and I still am I. I mean you you went eleven straight games given up three or more goals against you. Probably don't deserve to be in I but they built up such pad and no one had traction so I give them all the credit in the world and now you're right now it's game on now there's teams that are below that are only five six seven points behind. There were one point fifteen points behind so so these are all. I think these are all good things for them. I think this gets their attention. And it's at the right time of the season to to turn this thing around and get the better goal tending that they need to get the better defending that they need and no more exclusive. Look up some of the nights. The big goals allowed. And then you look well their power play goals. Where are you in terms of Jordan? Pennington's play I'm okay with some games. I mean I. I think I tried to evaluate on a game debate game basis not an overall basis. You played great on Sunday. I thought he made some really good. I thought he played really well against a vegas in a six five loss. I I can't tell you. How many great chances that he that he made an I like that. He had the battle in that game. That he he didn't go away in that game. So those are some of the things that I tried to separate from the overall totals I try to. I try to look where her legs crease. Where's his movement? Where's his concentration? What kind of goals are going in? Short side goal from a distance. Not a good goal. Deepen your net. That wouldn't be a good goal for him. But you know if you're on top of your crease in you're playing the Colorado Avalanche and they're going to they're beaten you. Those are tough. Those are tough place more quality shots against them. But you know I always remember last year to Martin it. He you know He. He came on board at a time. They desperately needed points. They had a lot of optional skates. Heat exercise is optional. I didn't go on the ice awful lot. And he was fresh for games while now. You're a number one goaltender. Your salaries been bumped up to against all the other tunes best games and you have to be on the ice all the time so I think this has been a real learning curve for him as well in terms of not load management like the NBA. But you've gotta stay strong to be a number one goaltender in the late fifty two shots was obscene one night but as a goaltender. They like to see some some action. Don't they I mean? Is there a perfect number of shots? I mean if I said one or two they'd say well that was kind of boring. Yeah well you know one or two like Mardi voters in the building tonight. Mardi for whatever reason Martin. He's the Great Mardi Burger for whatever reason he was able to. I don't know how we could focus when he didn't have very many shots and then he'd make a save. That was unbelievable. Kinda like Ken Dryden. Who is the very best that the Montreal Canadians and Marty had that? Same ability and then there's some guys that they need to have action all the time so what's the ideal for me. My ideal start to a game about fifteen to seventeen shots to start the game. Got Right into it like for example. Sunday afternoon in Nashville you know Peck Arena has not been playing very well. He's been watching. Uc sorrows win five of the last six games and take over the number one spot. So what do we do? We fired a lot of shots on him that there is no traffic in front and he thought he caught pucks. He saw pox. I thought we allowed him to get right into the game and he was terrific. No question he was the difference in the game but to start the game. He had all these shots outside and we didn't have enough traffic. We didn't make him busy enough in that net for me early. We did later on but we didn't do it early on so that's the ideal thing for me. Fifteen shots from about the faceoff dot patch them. Play them and get them in the belly. That would be ideal for me. We alluded to the new line. Now you have Riley was Schwartz and Chen. I mean that's that's a really skilled line and I know Riley Improv at a lot of chemistry do you think there's a spark there. Maybe putting those three together you see the logic I do. I see a lot. I do believe watching the games that that Rhino Riley and David Perron had gotten a little stale. And I talked to Ryan Reilly about that this morning and it's it's not that they're not trying. It's not that they're not making plays but the other team looks at at O'Reilly and David Perron. As as the top to the wing and the Centerman that are creating the most amount of points they watch video after video after video clip after clip after clip of what they do. At one point it gets stale. And that's just the fact that matter. I mean I've been into some cheerios every once in while they're stale. I told them in the garbage in and I think that's what's going on right now and the you have to get another spark. I think Ryan Riley needs another spotting. David Perron needs a spark. And he's going to get it with Robert. Thomas Anzac Sanford. So that's good news because any Thomas is played. Well Sanford's plane well. Adding Schwartz's played well last two games. Like Schenn's Game Sundquist comes back to the lineup. I like that I think Jordan Kyros played well lately and playing with the young guys. They're the last game. I thought they were on fire. I was always excited to watch some place so I think all in all there's a good combination and Oscar Sundquist back in the lineup. Click for Sanford. I mean we see him. He's a big kid. We know that in the past I think army and Baru said if he's physical. He plays now. He's got the scoring touch going. What what's changed?.

"Was losing his grip on his job. And it will be remembered as a pretty pretty Blah week for Mizzou in the basketball losses. In Casey there were a big part of that. So they've got to take down like Kentucky which is their first conference game on the road. They've got they've got beat a weakened Tennessee team that is playing without l'amante Turner Their Star Guard and his look much more vulnerable since he exited the season with a shoulder injury. So they've got they know what they've gotTa do a matter of you know rising up and doing it. Slew is in the best shape of any of that group. Two losses So they're eleven to entering conference. Play the losses were to a twelfth ranked Seton Hall team that has since then beaten a higher ranked Maryland team Note that's not a bad loss now. It was a disappointing loss because got slapped around and I didn't feel like they were ever in the gangs but ah on paper the loss does not scream out as being a bad one cent. After that they wrote they ran off. Five consecutive wins and their only loss in conference was to then twelfth. Both ranked Auburn Auburn. Dan Is is one of the best teams in the country right. Now they have not lost a game They are twelve now there I in the SEC. We see they're ranked eighth in the country. Now and that was that was a game that was on the road so the there's not a bad loss right now on sleep schedule. I think there's going to be three. Three or four teams probably three get in the eight ten tournament to deeper better conference. That will help slow. You don't ask to win the when the conference tournament like they did last year in order to get in and so if I had to put money on one And I'm not putting any money because just watched uncut gems and it gave me a fear of sports gambling. I would put it on US later. Make the tournament I would too. I think it's going to be tough but I think they do have a shot. Let's switch gears to hockey. Turn the calendar and what a year. It was for the Saint Louis Blues Historic Year one of the greatest years in NHL history In the calendar year when you look at the the All Star game coming to Saint Louis. Listen that's going to get a lot of attention here in the next few weeks. I think everybody's excited Saint Louis will be center stage for hockey Petra Angelo gets in Bennington. Earning ten gets in O'Reilly gets in and David Perron. Mike it in just your thoughts on that and then looking forward to what fans can expect for the NHL All Star game in Saint Louis. Well it'll be done right. It'll be a huge crowd. It will get rave reviews from hockey fans who attend. Because that's what Saint Louis does. Does anyone you plant Like this here in Saint Louis people are gonNA show up and show out especially when there's this much excitement based off. The blue is winning the Stanley Cup. Last season season based off them not skipping a beat from From that win last season. There's going to be that leftover appeal from the winter classic. which was such a hit in Saint Louis so so much so that it sounds like Dan that the upcoming winter classic could be considering the Blues as a team to participate in I think because they NHL is realize if it forgot the blues fans will go and show and and we'll have a good time? I mean this is going to be a marquee event. It cannot work out it could not have worked at any better for Tom. Stillman and his team linked to host the winter classic to have the team go on the run that went on last season To end up hosting the All Star game as kind of the the culmination Russian of this awesome year It's going to be populated with blues. Think they made the right calls on the all stars. They should've had. They should have found a way to get David. Roddenbury's aries would so good. I think the fans are going to get a man. I can't imagine that they're going to miss a chance to vote David Perron and to his first all star game. He belongs in and you could make ca-came rather blues but the way they do that three on three and get a member from every team And you get how it gets tight. But David Ron belongs. Thanks For a lot of reasons. One of his points gist of what he's done in game winning goals in overtime goals on the fact that he's a three time member of of this team in terms of you know leaving and coming back he needs to be in there so I think blues fans will will make that right as for expect the skills competition there should be a. Who's who I mean? Alex Ovechkin won't be there but I think that's GonNa be his loss because this will be a an awesome awesome weekend for hockey and it's so much better that it at the blues are are as good as they are. I mean they're one of the best teams in the game right now. It would have been a blast if the blues were bottomed out and still holding on to their to their Stanley Cup win. But that's not what these guys are doing. They have successfully turned the page. And if you look at things right now dan where they are in terms of their their point total. Would you look look at where. They are in terms of their goal differential. I mean they're right there it's the blues it's the Bruins it's the capitals and those are three best teams in hockey and it's really not all that close. What do you think happens with the captain? That'll be a big question to at the All Star game with the national media. He's a free agent to be unrestricted. Yeah it's really interesting. I it's one of those things in sports where you can tell the young man. Look your number probably would be retired if he stayed here and stayed healthy the in continue the path that you're on there might be a statue of you in front. You're the first guy to bring the cup to Saint Louis an indelible image of you holding the COP. The first Saint Louis blue to ever do that. Great pictures with the fireworks going off behind him and everything that he's done your great article about what he did during the parade. He's connected with this community ready. I'm just really curious. What you think is going to happen with him? Well I hope he stays and I hope the blues make him an offer that makes him think long and hard about staying. I think if it boils down to just purify dances. Is this okay if it does. I'm not going to shame a guy for for getting the most of what he tan. I mean it's a IT'S A. It's a short time as a professional athlete. So if you're not maximizing your financial gain than than can you know then you're probably doing it wrong to some degree but there are things that fact begin to factor in overtime his family's rooted here he's got as as everybody knows triplets blitz which had a young kids who who. I don't think moving to a different city buying a new house. All these things are probably high on his list of things to do. But when in your you know a a multimillionaire athlete. Those things aren't as hard as maybe you know tacking up the U.. Haul yourself so I think he understands what he means to the city. I think he understands stands what he means to the team. I think he wants to be compensated for what he feels like. He is he has done in. Maybe you'd have to ask Alex. But there is probably some point in his head where he goes. Okay if it's close exit to stay or go but if it's close financially that I will maybe factor in some of the things things that I value about being gear in the good nature goodwill that I have with the blues but if it's not close I think that's where you run into trouble if you're asking a guy to take some sort sort of a massive hometown discount. It's not realistic. Probably in today's game with the with the lifespan of a professional athlete. And in just the you know in some degrees. Is that the pressure on players to get their full value. When you hear about that in baseball you guys get players? Get Mad at other players. When there's here's when they're not maximizing their value? They're taking an extension. That isn't seen as seemed as competitive. They feel like it waters down so the change has to do what's best for and I think Doug Armstrong has gotta move the same way. We've seen enough of army now to know that he's not going to get caught up in things that have happened in the past asked he's not going to get caught up in motions. He has been a cold calculated In a positive way tactician when it comes to building this team and one of the reasons he brought in Justin Falk was in case they could not get potential back now. They're playing great together and I think the blues would love to keep them together and and they they can. There's a way to do it but it's not going to be easy. The CAP is there and Alex for Trans Low with the season. He's having is earning more money every time he steps on the is so else Kinda. See it comment. I think it's GonNa be interesting if the conversation start during the season knowing Tranquillo in the way he stiff arms. This conversation a little bit. I if if there's not going to be an extension agreed upon an announced pretty you know pretty quick untidy that I bet we don't hear about with this much until after the season it's a when it's time to go through free agency because I don't think as a captain he will want this to become a big part of the discussing this season. He tried to Stefan right before You're started and I can't imagine him wanting to get into it too much Even during that little break during the All Star game unless there's something that's agreed upon on both sides. "In the first period and have taken to nothing lead in Boston is terr- Saco centering. These three nothing Saint Louis. Hey, thirty five on the third shift from terrorists, Seiko given the lose another goal. How did those passes get through? That's what asking myself on the last two goals for the Saint Louis blues in both cases flat Amir Tarasenko, and David Perron are in the corner, digging out the puck and they turn and they flash back in front of the crease, and they turn out to be pinpoint surgical precision passes, who knows how they got through all those Bruins. And of course at that point, too, is sitting duck four goals just one allowed by the blues defense. They had twenty one block shots in front of Jordan Bennington with his thirty two saves and so many missed opportunities for the Bruins can understand why they were so motion Brad Marshon called this the most difficult loss of his career by far. Chris Kerber with the calls of the goals on the blues radio network. But don't you want to hear the final call? Okay. What you will coming up in ten minutes here on CBS sports radio, eight five five two one two four two two seven. That's our phone number. We've heard from a bunch of Saint Louis fans including one who called us Jerry said he lives in a suburban neighborhood in St Louis, and it's normally really quiet late at night, but they were people just randomly driving around with their windows. Open playing Gloria. The song for the St Louis blues, this year, just kind of quirky now, part of Saint Louis blues, Lor as they win the first Stanley Cup in fifty two years at took them rhino. Riley ends up as the con- Smyth trophy winner. And I'm sure there are a lot of people who voted for Jordan bidding ten as well. But when you have your name in the same breath as a Wayne, Gretzky, and Mark Messier Gretzky, the last guy to have goals in four consecutive Stanley Cup final games. Mark Messier the last guy to have six game six game point streak in the final. And so Ryan Riley was everywhere. Even starting slow but game four was when I was so impressed by his leadership, and how he set the tone for the team that had just got pounded by the Bruins in game number three in St Louis. Five goals, four sis- in the final alone. And so at twenty eight years old, he realizes this incredible. Dream and this is after getting traded from buffalo last summer and getting a new lease in his career is first year with the blues dream this for so long and you is a kid that just like that, that feeling was back to just like what it means. To, to win this thing. And I just I still, I still can't believe this, this is, I can't believe I'm here right now. And and Stanley Cup champion with this group of guys his production for us all year and then throughout the playoff. I mean he was just the relentless hockey player for a long time. Never, you know, never never quits and just such a smart player. He's, he's a special player really need to see the emotions. Of course. The, the fact that these guys not not all of them part of the blues disappointment impasse. Cheers. But these guys certainly recognizing that it's not easy to get to where they are, and honoring those blues who came before them again. Even those players like O'Reilly and like Peron who weren't part of this team when they've had their their even recent playoff disappointment. Just getting back to the Stanley Cup final for the first time in forty nine years, and yet you saw a bunch of older. Blues players, legendary blues players on the ice who had the chance to hoist the Cup as well. In addition to sweet Leyla I don't know if you've heard this story, many of you probably have by now her her mom's videos have gone viral on social media. She is the eleven year old superfan, who is battling a rare autoimmune disease, and she had to go through both chemo and bone marrow transplant in January. And so she couldn't attend games. She she was a regular blues games. The fact that the, the blues knew her name will they asked her name? They knew her face her big smile all the time, and then she wasn't there when she was going through this treatment for this, very rare disease. And she had to be in isolation for for months because of the threat of germs and infection. And so she was confined to her home. She couldn't go to games which she was watching her blues, and she would tell her mom that they were doing the same thing. She was doing. They were getting better. They were rallying just like she was doing in the hospital and then. At home when she was getting better, and the incredible video that literally made me cry. I mean, I'm sure it did for many people, I cried right, along with Layla when her mom told her that the blues invited her to game seven in Boston. And so she got to go as a guest doctor said it was okay? And then if you've not seen the photos or the videos of Layla on the ice in Boston last night. Even if you are Bruins fan, you gotta realize that this is bigger than the Stanley Cup. It's bigger than sports. It's about the hope and the joy unmistakable an unforgettable for this eleven year old girl. And so she was out there with her favorite player. Colton perico. And she got to kiss the Cup. And, and she, then, of course, is interviewed by a variety of TV and radio outlets because she's become kind of a simple for this blues, and, and this incredible story. This incredible rally, I couldn't.

That's the blues continue to celebrate its David Perron who lost in the Stanley Cup final last year. It just third stint with the blues David Perron, the only player in the Stanley Cup each of the last two springs. And now it has Ryan O'Reilly. And now Tyler borak the long time Toronto Maple eight those kisses the Cup. Circles around with it. Next is Jaden Schwartz. And, you know, he's thinking about his late sister man, and it was such a difficult year for Jay Schwartz at three goals through December the regular season ended up with eleven in the regular season and twelve more here in the playoffs. Now, Pat, maroon the St Louis kid. These are Stanley Cup champions less money to play his hometown this year. Go to sign. Elsewhere. And how Carl goners goal overtime game too, with the Bruins leading the series. We'll take the Stanley Cup.

"You don't agree with the call. Give up one fine. You've I mean you can't give up that many goals at a major now that kill the penalty. Yeah, that's it. This options there's ways. I mean, listen nobody ever talked about the fact that as bad as a non call that wasn't gained by. There was an awful goal by Rask. He could've made that save you know, so just because of just up skating that there's a lot of things to go into a besides the call. Yes, it was a bad, non. But the Boston didn't have to Scott stop skating Rask didn't have to give up a bad goal. They didn't have to and there was still time for them to be able when they made it to one. There were still six plus minutes for them to be able to tie the game. And I don't buy into the whole will they would've tied the game. At one had it stayed one nothing. We don't brush scores. That goal is the fallacy of the predetermined outcome. We don't know blues play differently up one nothing as opposed to up to nothing. So yeah, I'm glad that we agree on that just people get out quickly. People getting it phantom. They're called fans or fanatics. You know that they're they're passionate and it's great and we love it. But, you know, we have the matter of we, we look at it through a different. I we look at through were objectively looking at in with perspective. And, and, you know, our view points can be different 'cause we're not as it gauged fans are in the moment. Couple of things before let you go. And we'll read a couple of tweets to if he got a second. So some reports out of Canada that Kevin Hayes very impressed with Philadelphia Flyers. You hearing anything about the possibility that they can get something done before July. I haven't heard a thing, but it doesn't surprise me in the sense of I believe Kevin wants to play on the east coast. I think he, he wants you know, that, that's you know, home base for him is Boston. And he's used to it. He's played five years in New York are almost five seasons in New York. I believe he wants to be on the east coast. It doesn't surprise me. The one thing that I was. Curious about was the Elaine v Neal, you know, element in the room there because I wondered if if Hayes wanted to go play for av again, you know, I didn't I wondered if you know, a bunch of the guys on the Rangers at that time that av was done if they were done with him. But, you know, I mean it's a good organization. He's also got a VM self has a little bit more perspective having sat on the sidelines for a season. So I it will be interesting. They traded for them. So they obviously chatted with his agent and have to have some indication. That'd be interested in signing there. Yeah. I think it would be interesting to good job. I feel it getting aggressive there talking to some people around the Rangers, we have the chance to have J D in studio when he was hired as the president. I was talking to Dave Maloney on MSG one fifty last night. I was against Alan Hahn and Bill PL Rangers. Not being affected by what's happening with the blues. I was kind of curious that when you see a team like Saint Louis worst team in the league on January thirtieth. Be a win away from winning the Stanley Cup does that change everybody's philosophy on how fast they wanna go about things. Right. The Rangers are in the middle lane going fifty and a fifty five saying we're comfortable or fans are comfortable with this rebuild. All look what saying Lewis's doing. Let's put the blink around. Let's get in the fast lane. Let's get the sixty five here and in the feelings, the prevailing feeling seems to be no. Are you surprised by that? Do you believe that? No, I think it's different. I think it's totally different. If you look at the blues they went out this off season to build a Stanley Cup champion team. You know, they, they got rhino, rather, they traded for rhino rally, they signed Bosak and maroon and David Perron filling out their offense. That's four four four top nine forwards that they added in on Jill on July. First, they went out to change a little bit of their, you know, to change their mix because they wanted to go win the Stanley Cup. They were disappointed by not making the playoffs last year, but they have to translate and only serve, you know, Brayden Schenn and, and, and now Ecksteen have got a number of these guys. Hold Perico.

I'll take their broken John L D, the yell, so I'll take the broken jaw for short the punctured lung. Is that nobody? Yeah. These four that, by the way. Right. Usually don't hear these injuries until after the Stanley Cup final. That's what's so interesting that we know these injuries, usually at upper body, lower body. Yep. Now we actually know what they are. I think when guy can't talk through his teeth. I think that's when it's very obvious that he's got a broken the punctured lung to your point tougher to discover unless, you know, guys just punched over the whole time. "And so play was allowed to continue on. So it's sort of, twofold, there's no call, you got the one guy already complaining to the ref about being sent to the box, which isn't even happening. And then you have the Bruins sort of standing around and watching what's going on. And that allows David Perron to really beat three Boston players and score the goal which is you know eventually the game winning goal. So look it's a bad look. And Dan this this Cup has been really good. This has been a really special Stanley Cup based allot on the on the teams in the market. Right. Saint Louis has been waiting for this. For so long. This has been a heavy, heavy hard hitting series. And unfortunately you get you get a call like last night. And you know, that's what people are talking about the, the front page of the Saint Louis post dispatch this morning Blair's. You know what a trip? We do love clever newspaper headline. So, but also, I think the blues prepared for penalties leaves. I think they are. Right. So I can't sit here and go boy, what are the Bruins complaining about a penalty should have been called? And I think the blues expected a penalty to be called, no question. And and, and they had their palms near all sorts. The player Bosak of Saint Louis, I think was on his way to for the penalty, and you go, so he's not continuing on either go David Peron to keep playing and score that goal. So the lot of you know, we're going to talk about the call. I get at Boston was dominant in the first period, this game should have been over in the first period. I think they outshot them, you know how even was eighteen to seven, so there's a lot going on unless we're not that far removed from from game three when when Boston and say was seventy two Craig Berube, ED still interim head coach of the blues goes on the attack the next day, then and he goes three steps. Three times in eight minutes, span, he goes, hey, and the first three rounds at least penalized team of the NHL and, you know, he kept banging home that point, you know, and you wonder if it's the booze disciplined, or actually, the way it's being called and in games four and five but Bruins power play opportunities have been cut in half. So, you know, we think Saint Louis, you know, smartened up all of a sudden. Or did he really have an impact on how the officials are call Siri so, and that makes obviously they fabulous fabulous?
