"Go to good ranchers dot com slash Kirk that is good ranchers dot com slash Kirk. Laura asked Charlie I read that in Fargo North Dakota. They are no longer doing the Pledge of Allegiance. I then sent that to my friend and he said that his fake news, there's no way that's happening in America and told me to stop sending things that are not true. Please help me Charlie make sense of this. Is it really true? They're no longer doing it. Yes, it is. So in Fargo North Dakota, almost hard to grasp and believe at a board of educators meeting the board of education voted to remove the Pledge of Allegiance because of the under God phrase, in fact, they said that it no longer reflects their values. Fargo public schools voted 7 to two to no longer recite the Pledge of Allegiance. Pledge of Allegiance at the Fargo school board will no longer be said. The debate goes back to February when a motion to have the pledge recited at meetings brought forward by board member David Paulson. Past 7 to two. Now, I'll be very honest, the turnout for school board elections in Fargo, this last cycle in June was miserably low. Unfortunately, in North Dakota, I know a lot of you listening in North Dakota will be the exception to this, but I'll just be honest, it is not a priority to the vast majority of citizens in North Dakota. I'm looking right now at a picture of the school board meeting where they decided to remove the Pledge of Allegiance. Looks like there's 15 patriots there, and that's about it. There should have been a thousand people there. Demanding that the Pledge of Allegiance remains. Now, mind you, they do this intentionally, the left does their trained to do this. They're trained by alinsky tactics, which is to pick a fight that they know we will get angry about to distract us. You smoke screen while we fight and that level, they're able to implement bad curriculum and CRT and diversity equity inclusion. But that still means we have to fight. Now I want to play the piece of tape here. This is from the school board. It's unbelievable. This is a school board member. Not in Manhattan. Not in Nantucket. Not in south solido. Not in Ventura county. This is not in Denver, Colorado. No, no, no. This is in Fargo North Dakota. In Fargo North Dakota, it has now been voted on 7 to two. To remove the Pledge of Allegiance. Listen to their rationale, play cut one O 5. The board reciting the pledge runs counter. To our districts philosophy, given that the word God in the text of the pledge allegiance is capitalized and Jim had brought this up in our previous discussion of this. The text is clearly referring to the judeo Christian God. And therefore it does not include any other faiths, it is also an indisputable fact and it's a fact that I hope we all can agree on. That not all U.S. citizens have liberty and justice. Which is stated in the pledge, therefore making the line one nation with liberty and justice for all. And untrue statement. Now, this guy is not a very smart person. Obviously, liberty and justice for all, of course, every American has liberty and justice. These are ideals to your decisions that determine whether or not you remain in the state of liberty or you get to be administered justice. You see, human equality as the founding fathers wrote it, very important is not that every human being will get the same sort of scoff or that every human being is the same outcome, but they'll be treated fairly in front of the law. Now, if the school board member is meaning that, I don't know, Donald Trump gets rated and Democrats don't, then we might have a conversation. But what are they really trying to do here? That is a Marxist revolutionary tactic to destroy the symbolism to destroy the phrasing to destroy the traditions of a nation that they may make new ones in their stead. And to this idea that you can't have God mentioned there, well then the Fargo school district should get rid of the Declaration of Independence where it says laws of nature and nature's God. Or how about the U.S. Constitution where it says, we do ordain a religious term. Get rid of that too? Well, allegedly, supposedly, I should say, evidently is a better word at the Fargo school district in one of the reddest states in the country, it is popular to remove the Pledge of Allegiance. The 7 to two vote. And I look at a picture of the school board meeting, I think 12 people showed up to object, where's the grassroots energy everybody? I love North Dakota. I love you guys. Why are you allowing your governor to allow the Chinese to buy up farmland? Why are you allowing Fargo to the 7 to two thing? I know a lot of you are fighting hard. But there's so much more you could do out in North Dakota. Don't let these maniacs do this..

Did Fargo, ND Schools Vote to Ban the Pledge of Allegiance?

"Order to the bruins beat on sea on us media my name is Evan Marino, we hope you guys are having a great day, a great week. On this episode, Conor Ryan and I got into some pertinent topics in the world of contracts and salary caps. We got into the recent news on Johnny gaudreau. And how that impacts David Paulson arts earnings because I do think there is a little correlation there. We also get into Pavel zaka and if is he good enough to see if David grace doesn't return and also could he potentially help keep posture? All interesting questions? All interesting summer questions. We also get into if John Sweeney is actually going to clear any cap space because going off recent comments, I think that's kind of a clear answer. So that is today's episode of bruins beat. And without further ado, here is my conversation. With Connor Ryan. And

"The parent that's hearing us describe this maybe isn't feeling like they've done what they need to do with their 12, 14, 17 year old. And I want to give them something to change tonight when they're with that person, that young person in their home, their child. What can they do to kind of re restart the relationship? It's probably a way to do it. If you're feeling that much guilt, the Holy Spirit is really penetrating your heart right now. And you're going, oh, man, I have blown this. I've said all those expectations. I have measured behavior. I haven't done enough to invest in the heart. I'm critical. And we can all be that way at times. What can they do differently? Well, you know, the glory of children is their parents. They love us. And they're very forgiving. And if we confess to them, confess to the lord. And really change, not just manipulatively confess it. But if we really change, there is connection. So my own wife's huge impact on her when her father changed from a high corporate job to start his own business for the sake of the gospel. So they're very forgiving. So if we will, if we can confess that to them and change. In fact, in the book, you mentioned a parable or a story where you talk about carrying a jar of acid. It's probably a good place to land because it's a powerful story of what to do and what not to do. Well, it goes back to the idea that the first place I live at the gospel is in my home and that kids shine a floodlight on my soul. So I want to change, no matter what. The analogy, which is not original for me, I think I got it from the late doctor David Paulson. Imagine carrying a cup of acid through a crowded room. So when bumps into you, and you spill acid on the person. And the person says, why did you spill that? And what do I say? Well, because I got bumped. That's why I spilled the asset. It was the other person. Yeah, it's the other person's fault. But the truth is, the reason I spilled acid is because there's acid in the cup. And if there had been no acid in the cup, when I got bumped, then no acid would have come out. And so, you know, Jesus said out of the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks. When Jesus was reviled when he was bumped, he did not revile in return. And so I'm responsible for my actions and my reactions, and I can grow. In forbearance with others. And so if I see that that's what God's trying to do, a lot of things, but one of the things that he's trying to very practically make me more mature. Yeah, and chap, that's exactly why we wanted to have you on and talk about your book, the disciple making parent because what I hear you say in that last comment, always be willing to grow. Especially as a parent because it'll make you a better person and diminish the amount of acid in your cup. Hopefully to the point where there isn't any. That's the goal of every Christian, right? To model what Jesus has done for us. And so if you're in that spot, if you're that parent that you feel like, wow, I may have too much acid in my cup. Get ahold of us today. And make a gift of any amount if you can become a monthly sponsor, that's wonderful.

"And we can debate whether or not they should be keep on moving sacrificing draft capital, but if the brass is one piece of a bigger puzzle that gets you a let me take your pick right and hurdle JT Miller or something like that, which I would significantly help your team both right now and in the years going forward you got a legit center. Maybe that's kind of the angle they take, but again, it's tough to find the right fit and what you want to do when also the fact that your roster is pretty much stuck in neutral right now. You can't make much moves. But I wouldn't be surprised if they're looking at maybe some of the bigger picture moves as opposed to a mason Appleton or like a loss in Krauss or something like that. It's an early deadline type move, right? Like it's kind of getting a head start on the deadline. And I agree with you. If they trade in one for one, I don't think you're getting much. I have no need for mason Appleton or Lawson Krause or one of these guys who, as you said in Ryan strobe, a project type guy. And maybe they could find their game here, but what reason would you think they would find their game here? How many forwards have left here who didn't find their game here? Heine de brus Björk. Toronto. I'm definitely missing people. Guys even before Cass and JFK and spoon are like all these guys, they have trouble with these fringe top 6 forwards and making them into something. So what reason would you have to believe that mason Appleton comes here and becomes a second line winger or a steady third line presence? So to me, it's the package move. And I think the only way I like the deal if it's one for one realistically is if it's for a right shot defenseman because you need some depth on that right side on D so if you can get a right shot defensive for de brusk straight up, I don't hate that. I'm fine with that. It depends obviously who the right shot defenseman is, and that's kind of the thing. Who is it going to be? They're not just trading defensemen around the NHL. So yeah, I mean, the package move. You know, if you did, you know, dubrovka second and maybe a prospect for Miller or Brock besser. Investors kind of been trade rumors forever around him. But he was pretty consistent for a few years. So maybe he's a guy you get. I wouldn't hate that. And that makes you better because again, this team isn't scoring at all. Like, isn't scoring. You desperately need another top 6 weapon. And again, especially for whether it's a galaxy JT Miller, how much hurdle, I think you've seen now what you just really need in terms of having more strength down the middle, just not only the domino effect of having another guy that could maybe draw more play out of Taylor hall because I think you saw in that game on Tuesday, granted, prudence didn't score 5 and 5 goal, but Taylor hall with Patrice bergeron and David Paulson arc looked pretty good. Again, most guys look pretty good when you're with those two other guys, but you put them with elite level talent, I think it drives the best side of Taylor house game now. Is JT Miller like an elite talent? He's pretty damn good. Like same with too much hurtle..
