"People didn't really need to be that that she had done it online. Well what Sue Fulton had stressed to me when we when we did an interview a few days ago, and then the story ran. Yesterday morning when our I'm sorry, ran this morning when when the officers were opening. Um, she stressed the fact that they were not going to allow people to do transactions that were Uh, taking place online to try to cut down on the number of people at the different agency offices. Now the whole thing is confusing because Again, You know, you have to really admit that a lot of New Jersey and may not really be completely on the ball. When it comes to this stuff. This is all new people didn't understand. They had to go to the website find out which agency was doing, what transaction what they could do or not do unless you're sure there was confusion with regard to that. Um, but again, you know what happened today? Even that being as it is, um, I think it caught everybody but by surprise, and the results have not been good. All right. Well, ah, obvious. What do you have You have anything filed online up on M. J one on 15 dot com. Yet on this I know that my additional colleague Dan Alexander has something article that they're adding two. "Calm. Natural guy back to position of Brian. And. When with focused. We have more activity at the front prefrontal cortex sort of higher executive thinking. So we trying to depending on what we're doing what that person needs. The electrodes will go where it needs. And that would be like say they'd be a rocket ship on the screen, and if you can get your, Brian if you're breathing you can get your brain into that rut state, the the spaceship will fly or it needs to fly. Is it says to go out as soon as you start to get distracted or start today dream again. The spaceship will fade away or go up down, and you have to bring it back in Streit. So it's brain training. Yeah. And it's working with neuro plasticity right idea that your brain is creating new neurons neural connections yet. So that Brian's always creating destroying Niro pathways. And I guess that's what's the big thing about with habit. And there's all these books now about habit forming in the importance of creating good habits because basically all behaviors all ow. Addictions, a habit habit forming all Aven our emotional reactions just ways that we've been used to. They've worked for us at some point in the past. And sorry, we continue to us until they start working empha- some of us. It takes a lot longer for us to realize that that's not working anymore. The amount of times you like I will never do that again. Oh whoops did. Yeah. Exact saying about the coffee before every day. I'm like two coffees. That's too many. Yeah. But I do it. And so if you're talking from physiological perspective like in the brain when you have a habit. It's just a very deeply rooted neural connection. Strong neural connection. Right. Yes. So you think of any get a little bit into like? Motivation and stressing Zion in a bit. But if you want to think of it in terms of like escape slope, and so you down the same path if you keep going down that setting pop you'll create quite a thick. Dividend the sand, or what is in the sense of a star field. And so as you keep going you creating David David path and sorry H time, you go down that man becomes eight to choose that pot that path of less resistance, but to form a new habit, we need to pull off and pick a different path like slope a different way. Okay. And that requires a lot of effort in the beginning. So that's what I think people like if we're talking guy to me if I said, something even remotely critical of union. I'm not like that. Yeah. Yeah. I know Matic response that's a deeply ingrained path down that down that mountain. So to create that pause that Marmon of stump. That's a whole nother pot that we need to start taking and then we made to stop practicing that till that pot becomes more entrenched. And when not using that original path so that can start being filled back up with Narin using those neurons for other purposes. Yeah. Okay. So if somebody says. Oh my gosh. Just me. I just always do that. Basically, they're resigning themselves to the fact that they're stuck inside that one's. Yeah. Yeah. And the truth is they can change that at any point in time. They just have to change it. They have to make an active decision to and what stops people from being able to take that pause to get onto the other path. Like, how do you know that it's time? I think that's what's one of the biggest challenges in in therapies people's motivation. My get you've got to want to do it. You've got to be able to recognize that that isn't working anymore. And that might be an external somebody outside telling you straight out, look he can be a real bitch. If gotta change is no one's gonna lock you. For example, or it could like a friend saying I notice that you drink every night. So I worry about that. Or not basically, internally lock your dissatisfied with life and United that something needs to change. And we usually when we can learn how to self reflect which I think is one of the most important. Asked lack things that a human can do to better themselves. It's quite easy to fund. All right now. I know that this is a problem for me. Yeah. But admitting that I who are cells, and then ultimately to others to therapist really difficult because they're shame. So man. You know, what's interesting about that? Like, I've been kind of thinking playing around with this idea because we were talking before about this book that games people play. That the foundation and transactional analysis is that everything that we do all behavior is motivated by recognition. So you're looking for recognition from the other person, you wanna g- knowledge meant that you exist, more or less all human behaviors kind of generally rooted can be kinda sorta drilled down to that. And so if you don't get that recognition, it becomes what they call recognition hunger or stroke hunger in the same way that a baby who doesn't get fed will cry out when they're hungry a baby who doesn't get cuddled will cry out for a fiction. Yeah. Just like they're hungry. And what I was just thinking about was this idea that shame is almost like your biological alarm bell to tell you that you've done something that no longer serves you. Yeah. In the same way that we get hungry for recognition or get hungry for food when we feel shame. It means that we are hungry for our own personal like improvement or whatever like that. It's just the same thing as your body's just alarm bell going. Hey, wait, a second. I think you're doing something. Now that doesn't serve you even if it's a habit that served you in the past. Yeah, it doesn't serve you anymore. And it's it's out. It's kind of like how.
