"Know exactly like what you guys are doing with it. But just from the creators do feel like there's like an opening and the last time i thought that breaking tiktok blew up and down i should have been on. I could've entirely. I've a random question. I from the ouseba outsider's point of view. I feel like everything that. I'm sure there's so much stuff that goes on that like obviously we don't see but it looks like everything that david does everything that david touches turns to gold so it. That's what it looks like to us so for you when you're obviously going through the behind the scenes kind of stuff you guys like have that in mind and you kind of just like live and let live or are you actually worried about things like i. Almost more worried about things not doing. Well i think. I mean david's very very particular person. We're actually just joking about this the other day because last night. Actually we just got the christmas tree in the house and david. David is funny because he'll be lack. Hey do you want it. He'll turn his jason. He'll be like hey. Do you want to make a youtube video like decorating my house for christmas. But like somebody just does it for him right so that you can just have the christmas decorations. Let somebody else gets out of it like he. So yesterday jason. I went to the storage unit. Got the christmas stuff out and bought a tree and everything. Jason was decorating it. And he was like. Natalie this looks terrible and i was like no just just me like he wants the cheesiest tackiest looking christmas tree ever like. That's what he like something straight out of frigging like whoville or something. Yeah and that's what it was and he was like you know it's so funny because i think david will have tastes like that. Who wants to make super tacking cheesy bali or whatever and then he'll also have the other end of the spectrum. Where like it's like. I want something like the house. For example tesla super clean and modern and like but every single thing that he does has very specific. There's a very specific way that he likes it. Whether it's like the food that eats or the christmas tree the new buys you know whatever and it's literally just knowing that knowing how he operates so when these different products do come to us it is. I mean kind of my job to be able to be like. Oh he's not gonna like even just meeting the people to on zoom call like if the if these people wanna get into your long brand partnership or something you can just get the vibe. And he's very specific so it's like if you're going to work well together or not. It's just knowing what he likes when he doesn't like and and being able to like weave through all that and then figure out the projects that are actually going to be successful of ram. I feel like a lot of it too is like fives and it's so hard to like. Nail like certain projects may not work. Maybe a great idea. But if you're just like not like i'm not into it that's all you need. And that's what's so weird. What would you have to say to like. I'm sure you've had so many people even. Dm you being like. I want your job or like hey like not even david but for someone else like the next influence. They want to do what you do. What something that using something you tell them. I mean i think there's also especially with the blogs and like the way that our life is like curated so perfectly online even like you guys are like everything just turned a goal like no not at all. I mean i think david noggins and argument like reread times a day. You know like you still at the end of the day. But it's definitely like it's it's. It's not all roses and rainbows. That is for sure your like with any person. It's not like you're not going to have the best day every single day. you know. it's like some days. You're really excited to like beyond the internet and like the putting on great content and other the days you're getting shit on the internet and you're like fuck this like i don't wanna do this anymore. This is so whatever. And i think that that's especially with me like i. You know i consequently have this following but it also like running his business and trying to do my job. I'm not just a you know. An influencer and people think forget that sometimes and i think that they see like oh she has these brand deals and she has a great life in this amazing boyfriends missing job. And all these things. And it's like i am so grateful for what i do have and i have the most amazing life ever period but there are times where it's just like.

"Ww DC and data. Season is upon us every year. I, <hes> I, him in Haw, and I always install all the Betas usually. We don't cover them a lot. Until <hes> the we're closer to release, but because of this year that changes are so significant, and people are just so interested in the stuff that <hes> Steven and I, both kind of made a point to go a little crazy with Beta installs <hes>, and we've been using them now for a weekend. I thought it'd be fun to report how these features are working and. And given. This is Betas with some of this stuff could change, but you know. Let's kind of dive in deep on it I will say you've gone a little deeper than I have so the pool right I'm swimming in the pool. You did a cannonball from the top of your house into the deep end. Oh, I did I. Did I I wrote a post in the payers forum saying Hey Steven I've gone a little crazy with the bait. If you've got questions, let us know and a team. Oh, wrote crazy like install watch os Beta. And <hes> one of us did I'll give you one guess. Not, me. Like I had actually Rosemary. <hes> went in that pool I I said well. Did you watch blow up anything? She says well when I wash my hands at once crash, but otherwise it's been fine, and like you know it and also I feel kind of cavalier this year because I'm home, not traveling. <hes> if if my phone gets to messed up I can always unwind. The Beta I'm. Home doesn't matter that much so I. I didn't feel that bad about it, so so let's just <hes>. Let's list the devices right <hes>. What have you got? The BETAS installed on, so I've got the Beta on a external SSD that. I'm booting my macbook pro from I, need my fro some later this year, so I'm not willing to put the bait on at directly yet. And running it on my I've had many other. My leverage IPAD PRO is probably going to succumb to it. By the time this episode comes out <hes> out of my phone, and the definitely not my Mac pro <hes>. The this machine is where I make my living, and it will stay on Catalina for some time, but yes. I'm playing with it kind of getting my. Getting in the pool. I spent more time with it on the Max I've got thoughts around that, but. I want to get back. Somebody said a second ago. The interest in Beta cycle is way higher than it normally feels like. And maybe that's because a lot of people aren't home. Life's a little bit slower now. It's because like big Sur in particular is a huge change having we just on your iphone. Who Change like there's a lot of things that are really attractive about these Betas. Wherein some years it's like yeah, it's better, but you know. You can live without it for three more months. Some of the stuff people want to really experience now. Yeah, agreed. And <hes> and there is kind of some themes to these Betas as we go through it. In the show today I started with the Beta on my is because I have two IPAD pros because I'm that guy so I started with a on the big IPAD pro and it was running fine, and then it quickly cascaded over a couple of days. And I put it on the laptop, so I had big Sur on the laptop in it on the IPAD. Then <hes> suddenly I had it on the second IPAD I had on my own. I also put it on my Mac pro because we have a the way. The recording situation is right now in the sparks headquarters. Has You know there's there's four people living in fifteen hundred square feet and <hes> so? My studio isn't really where I'm recording shows where my I MAC PRO is. It's where I do all the edits and all that stuff, but I'm not doing the recording there <hes>. My old studio has been turned into my daughter's. Daughter's bedroom, but we have an extra in there, and that is the kind of recording machine I'm sitting at it right now, so my fancy Mike and Everything so that one is not upgraded or or running Betas, but but but the all the others should Max. The to Max I own are and then a few days ago I. Put on the watch, too. Because I as I told Rosemary and the automakers. If it breaks, it's her fault. But it's you know so, I, I've been reading on everything. This one thing that you may have heard in the news is these are pretty stable Betas I. think partly because wwe came later. This is more like Beta or Beta three in normal year. That being said do as we say, we do. Don't don't know these. If you need to get your work done Yada Yada Yada Yeah. I, mean they're still developer Betas. At this point, you have to have a developer account. The Public Beta will be in July. That's when they're more widely accessible and usually in the past. At least it's been to developer bills for everyone public Betas so. Developer Beta two or three be public Beta one and there'll be a couple of developer builds and then. A couple more puppets, this sort of tiktok approach, and just because this Betas good doesn't mean the next one will be in fact very often. They get worse before they get better. So yeah, do what we say like. Let us take the pain and you know if you have a spare me, shake my head many if it bursts into flames, that'd be sad, but it's not the end of the world. Then <hes> yeah, I think it's fine to play with on that, but definitely out of production machine now something you need for work because you can this situation where the you know, it's always like the one happy really need the one workflow you really depend on. That's the one that's broken for months. That'll get you.

"Seven eleven seven. Oh, four or five seven oh eleven ten gives call. We had a callers off the air while we were taking a break. And we want to get good information to you one. Caller said, hey, we did not get Patty Whitaker's. Website. It's a prettier potty dot com. Our folks from Boston. There's no are in potty prettier, potty dot com. And and then another caller called and said, hey, did you know that porta-pottys are an artistic medium? You could paint the porta potty. I'm sure the porta potty people might not be happy about that. Depending on what you're painting on not. But yes, I am. I watched one of the I drove up south boulevard yesterday. One of the light rail cars went by. Yes. And that is an artistic medium. Oh, yeah. They like like. Who who who paints that like the entire car was painted like with graffiti? So what are they park them? And who's watching them? And I thought they were all guarded or maybe maybe we do that. Maybe it's I don't know. Maybe anyway, we're supposed to do. I don't know anyway. So so good stuff and actually a very practical solution. We have lines open. We are a seven four five seven eleven ten seven zero four five seven eleven ten. I don't I never. We never want to make the show sound like an infomercial. But there is a lot of really cool stuff to see. We are at the southern spring, home and garden show, the weather. If nothing else is commanding you to come check all these things out. There's nothing better to do. You don't want to be cleaning the house. Come down. Check it out. We're going to talk to Paul right now. And then and then share some additional things that are that are here at the southern spring, home and garden show, Paul good morning, home approval with John, and Dave how are you this morning? Well, thank you for taking my call. Appreciate you bet. A situation. Not with me personally. But might you purchase the whole nine offices in South Carolina. It's actually in. In South Carolina. Actually been there. Houses are earning down. And the worst story. Develop volley about three years old. How about a year and a half all the house and back them was under construction, and it works, and she thought that was the story now that were birthed out. Someone on the other side. They called the attic stairs down because they're not there. A new equipment up in the. The homeowner phobe downs. Go up there all of a sudden. 'cause he probably smelled smoke batted first into flames so happens happy his mouth was born. There was another infant two weeks ago where an electric water heater all done caught fire and my in-laws. Somebody can be older had done electrician. They're out to rewire your wire from eighteen. So you know now. You know, 'cause I I told him to the town. The group signed off on the electrical inspection. And what we have to protect himself and also to the neighbor pointing the the white ball out of the white fixture. You're feeling like. Carbon black carbon block the something gone going something something's wrong electrically in the hole. Do you have? I mean, I would I would I would hire an electrician to come in. And do an inspection. Open up outlets switches, the panel. The water heater it's electric furnace. Make sure you know, make sure everything is up two parts pretty simple for them to should be a label or tag in the box. Also inspection is my house was built thirty eight years ago. Now, the tag is still there the the company sometimes there may be but not required. But it's not required. It could be left anywhere. But I mean, I think to your point you want a third party in there. I would get a third party would pay their rate. It's it probably wouldn't take them a day to do the whole inspection. But they'll open up, and that's what needs to happen, and they need to and they will open every device, but they will. I mean, they may after they opened a few if they find problems in other words, if the if the black wire, and the white wire reversed I mean, they don't really even have to open up the the receptacle to check that. But there's devices to check it. So. That's what I would do. That would be my advice is to hire a licensed electrician and preferably the one that's not working in. That's been working in that neighborhood. Yeah. Get them in there. During construction who knows who actually does what does the builder could actually carbon somebody? Hey, you know, run this wire from year to year, and that's all they know. Yeah. It could be. Actually, go to the to the county Spartanburg and ask. There is electrical. Absolutely. Inspection. Visit find on the actual would have the right to look at that wouldn't be you. Well, but for their for their particular property, absolutely. They can should've been permitted, and they should have they should be able to go to the to the office. And and see all that stuff. Matter as a matter of public record. But they're not looking to see everybody's they're looking to see their oil rigs, and you would look for a certificate of occupancy as well. You know, 'cause he developed the builder. He's actually trying you're pointing fingers and power companies that have heard on the power and power companies saying, no, no, no, that's not that's not up for. They would have been almost every house there and two themes that. It's a life threatening situation for everybody. So, but I think today solution, and and and we've got some callers backing up behind you hear par. So I don't wanna cut short. But but today that solution David solution would would address the issue. So if you have the inspector comes through there and everything is is is wired correctly sized correctly. And so on then you do go back and say, okay, this many houses, you gotta go another step up, and you do have to have the power company do some things to to verify that you know, that there's not an issue they're gone ongoing risk there. So thank you for the heads up. And I hope that was helpful information. Follow up with this. Let us let us know. What you find out? Paul will do. Thank you, Paul. Poggi squared away. Here comes Jerry, Jerry, good Maury on home approval with John, and Dave how are you this morning? Hey, how you doing this? Excellent show. You're very informative. Central question about. Okay. What's what's the preferred to close them in winter into summer or vice versa, or what your suggestion that? Well, right now, they're being used as flood gates. Generally, automatic Vance. They close a certain temperature and the temperature certainly do nor-. Normally this time of year would be the time that you would you would want to have them open words drying out in the wintertime, generally is the air is drier. That's when our crawlspace tend to dry out. We would think people normally would think in the summer, but it's really quite the opposite. Closing them down in the summers really become more of the norm. But there's there's some interesting stuff out there. We're one of these days soon, we're going to have television on and are going to talk about of device that they installed called Atta mocks. And it's a very cool ventilation system that they use. It's not for every crawlspace. But it's for quite a few people out there could use this because it it always closes these events and brings Aaron at the at the at the opportune time, so that you don't have to even think about it. What is is it general rule were saying right now keep the four? I'm sorry. That's something that is part of the event itself or is. Yeah, it's all it's all all works together. And it works with different types of sensors, and they'll be more to come on that we'll have these guys on soon to talk about we taught step by bound base a little bit last week. But this is what enough time in the show. But so so opening and closing the summer is that would be okay. Thanks a lot. Thank you, Jerry com. My William we see you out there. We're just going to be right up against the break here. So hope you don't go away. We want to make sure that we answer your question on on water heaters. This is home improvement with John, and Dave we're gonna take a little break here if you'd like to join us for a seven zero four five seven oh eleven Ted. Or if you'd like to join us at the southern spring, home and garden show and David noggin wander around after the show. So after nine o'clock, ten o'clock things open up we're going to hang out. And and check some things out. So come on down. There's a ton of really good stuff..
