David Cameron Faces Inquiry Into His Dealings With Greensill

"Over the weekend we finally heard from a former political figure who had been brought a quiet late despite repeated attempts by janice to get in touch with them. This is david cameron. The former prime minister full during a series of allegations over the greensville saga is about david. Cameron's pat statement after news stories over the weekend. Suggesting drink matt hancock when it came to trying to a help for green. What did he have to say. So he has issued a statement saying i reflected on this at length. There are important to be learned as a former prime minister. I accept that communications with government needs to be done through only the most formal of channels. So there can be no room for misinterpretation. So he's not saying he's done anything wrong. He's just saying that things could have been misinterpreted because the system has allowed them to be misinterpreted and he thinks those things should change. I was quite interested by the timing of this statement. So you could say that Has been quite a few of the things namely one of a dominant thing on the news agenda. That may have made cameron statement a little less featureless highly in the news agenda. Also i think that would reached a stage where all the newspapers were feasting on this. And when you've got all the newspapers competing for the next new lying on a scandal that's when you know it's not going to go away and you need to do something to stop the flames Going ever higher now. I'm not sure whether what he says is going to stop the flames. Going ever-higher if i'm honest because it is something i see that he's allowed to grow as a row for six weeks hours a long time that he's thirty days is taken him to respond to

"Another source of information in the spirit is. The person is projecting in this happens. A huge amount. I mean it's huge. It happens a lot. People were project things in the spirit there either aware of it or they're not most of the time they're not dad and i. When i was young we used to play what we called the projection game. We would get quite inner minds in dad would say i'm about to project an image in you. Tell me what it is. And i was close to one hundred percent right on the first try then after the second or third try i would start missing it so the first time i was usually dead on second time i would usually get the third time not as much in the fourth time was like the different ballgame so other people project things in the spirit knowingly or unknowingly when they're praying for things when when we pray for something. You're actually depositing something in the spirit when you visualize this. Is the substance of things hoped for talked about in hebrews their visualizing those things and they're actually parking them in the spirit. This is the evidence of things. Hope you know. This this was really nice to see this specific performance after what we saw the last game. These guys. So and I've got a lot of people in here chiming in saying that ad is has been phenomenal eighties been great. People were very, very happy obviously about what Anthony Davis did. We've got. Somebody from facebook says eighty keep attacking and we'll win this series They really liked that and David Long, from facebook said eighty had a huge stat line team effort tonight. Let's get better in the next game. Okay. So the team effort and you mentioned Lebron had ten points, which is not very Lebron like I. I did a number of radio hits today with different networks and I kept getting asked over and over again what are you? Expecting to see from Lebron James Tonight is he going to be more aggressive and I said well, if his teammates keep missing, he's going to have to be but that's not really his default setting like Kobe and Michael Jordan and players like that. They have the default setting their basketball DNA tells them to be the score and go out there and put the ball in the basket. Lebron James his default setting is more about passing the ball. and. That's what we saw tonight and that's what he would like to be able to do is set guys up and have his teammates hitting shots. He doesn't care if you only score ten points he can score he has to, but it's not like his Goto deal waiters is wired as a score Lebron isn't necessarily that it's Lebron only having ten points the only shot four of eleven, which isn't great for him six boards seven assists two. Steals, but I'll tell you what he's happy about this performance because everybody else was hitting shots. This is the type of team that Lebron James Wants to be in one where he knows if he draws a bunch of attention, he's GonNa fire.

I'm kind of alternating between these two right now but always a dunkle enthusiast when I have the opportunity but also really recommend the two tone brew right another question going from Jay's thing he said do you think this offense of line is going to be able to keep markets healthy regardless of everything that's happening this season. confident in the office of white I think the guard play is going to be improved I would feel better about it if they are the ones were there well he'll be back I know and and I think and I think in time this will be a really good offensive line but they're gonna have to survive not having him and I I know you do the next man up thing and I get that and and and it's it's not that I don't think tennis Kelly is it going to be a good player at left tackle it's just tailored to one is arguably the best left tackle in the NFL deep bass and you just don't find players to replace that quite easily so I'm going to be interested because coach Mack has me a really nervous about these defensive line for the Cleveland Browns so much talk about off it's their defensive line is really really special led by miles. I think the Titans gonna have a lot of work to do Sunday with them in Cleveland. like but if anybody would know a defensive line it is coach me that's right he is the authority on all things defense by the way a couple things Titans related that you might want to know. he picked up Chris Milton last night Chris Milton defensive back or Indianapolis at a Georgia tech Chris Milton a guy really good special teams player and maybe takes over that Brendan trial where sort of role of being one of the special teams leaders the team I ours Josh what Kalou who played special teams very well down the stretch last year and they get Khris Middleton first Milton will wear number thirty. if you're wondering about some different numbers there were some switches late in pre season David long with the fifty one. forget Milton thirty David long fifty one the newest outside linebacker Reggie Gilbertese ninety three. and I say a mac after making the roster switched from seventy nine to ninety seven. these roster our fees that Jersey switches I'll tell you what was it two years ago that like twelve guys switch numbers yet and I have a theory that they do it on purpose I know that there are some people who really feel passionately about a certain number or something really means something to them but I'll tell you what I think they just wait until the exact moment that people in the media learned what their numbers are and then they all swap jerseys just to be funny remember medical financial partners brings you Titans tonight here at E. operating in downtown Nashville be sure to open your Titan's banking account exclusively at pedicle gonna Titans banking dot com for more details your chance to be on the program at eight seven seven eight four eight two six seven one we would love to take your phone call we would also love a tweet review comment or question the hashtag tights tonight or you can come to four twenty three six Avenue south and ask your question in person yeah you can hang out you get beer and prizes maybe for merger or moonshine tacos and tacos what could you want it's pretty good life. I would say we are very excited to be here at the opera absolutely I mean this has been years in the making and we're just going to start greeting each other with welcome to bash welcome to master Vail yes you're in the place the grand opening here over the next four days a lot of special things including Friday the pop up Titans shop Titans gear and a lot of stuff you've never seen before all over the hop brewing so your chance to be part of it be excited about it see some of that tightness gear getting ready for opening weekend and then if you want to watch the Titans game this weekend with friends I have plenty of them here at the hopper eggs be a great place to watch watch party right here worth we're on the air at eleven AM central kickoff is noon from Cleveland the Titans and the Browns thanks very solid underdogs entering this game does that surprise you it does surprise me a little bit but you have to remember that the Cleveland Browns are entering this game with all of this star power and all of this but then they're also home team so there's that but you have to assume that there's a little bit of an expected advantage just because of the amount of talent and that they're going to be at home I don't buy it but I understand why the Titans would be an underdog all right so you have a question here. who. these people want to know if the Tennessee Titans could lose by end to Cleveland in week one no possibility of that I don't think that's possible at all no hundred percent no. no you're on the wrong show from. well we we certainly hope yeah I mean anything is possible but. we were talking about earlier who knows what happened week one anything is possible both teams have essentially had six months to prepare for game you can win by forty five you can lose by forty five you can hide the game and really it has no bearing on the rest of the season it's kind of the out liar when you look at the season is in fact it doesn't tell the story fully it it's not. generally generally a reasonable facsimile of what the year is going to be it stands alone correct week one stands alone because you have six months to get ready for a game and then you have six days to get ready for the next yeah week two usually tells more of the story of the season week one is still a lot of fun absolutely it's so much fun and there's something to be said for the momentum that can be generated in that first game absolutely eight seven seven eight four eight two six seven one we just a question or comment to hash tag tonight tonight or come by yee haw brewing in downtown Nashville for twenty three six Avenue south and ask your question in person a dory Jackson is here he will join..

So the next step in those careers guys. We talked about of course, last week with Adam Schefter here on the podcast. But now they move on to that next stage. Jezek super exciting draft as a whole I either washed it or follow every pick on my phone and thrilled for Devin Bush going tenth. Overall, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Rashawn Gary twelfth overall to the Green Bay Packers and texted texted, Don Brown, Wyoming. I mean, there's two in the top twelve that's a that's a great accomplishment and then David long and chase win Avik both going in the third round chase to the New England Patriots and David to the Los Angeles. Rams also great great situations for for each each of those young men. They're in there, and they're really appreciated by by all the teams that drafted him head nice messages from from each of those teams. And then seeing Jack Zack gentry go in the fifth round. That was also very exciting. Also the Pittsburgh Steelers. And and then all the guys that were drafted in the signed free agent contracts. Those are those are wonderful opportunities. Lawrence Marshall, Chicago Tyree kindle to Cincinnati will spate the San Francisco, and it's in in bunting does the bears inbounding the bears and the list, obviously continues to evolve in that in that aspect. The thing that really impressed me watching. It was Mike Tomlin. They had him on a they brought him onto the speak. And of course, a rich Eisen. He was talking about Michigan. And he brought it up just kind of a hobby out those Michigan guys, and I want you to know Mike Tomlin took that and ran with it for seem like two or three minutes talking about Michigan and the value of Michigan walking when you walk by the Schimdt Boeckler statue, you know, what this university or value or emitted core values and the academics. Oh my goodness. And I thought to myself this is about as good as you could get as an endorsement for a university. And for a football program at Dudek should tweet that out, including the cruising package was were already tweeted about a moment after I saw it on it's on. It's on Twitter. I've seen it several times. But one thing he said was you know, this is what an ultimate compliment. You know, is what attracts the core values in the football that attracts people to kids. The Michigan is the same thing that the Steelers are looking for. And I I mean taking that and listening to that. I mean, that's that's no bigger calmed. Indie talk about Jack gentry to. Here's a young, man. And then he's been on the podcast since and he said when he was here, the feeling when you walk into sham Boeckler hall, and and just that does that aura that tradition, and the just that feeling you get I mean, that's that's that's pretty good little sidelight on that is I watched that. First and ten records. Kospi calling signals goes back. He gives it to Helen Hellman. He gets to the line of scrimmage, maybe. And then he is absolutely snuffed out Rashawn Jerry pitched across the tackles face and was in the backfield. Almost at the mesh point. Would you get a guy as powerful as Rashawn eerie? And that can move his quick as he is off the snap of the ball. He he can be a challenge walk. That's a loss of one. "Identified as David long. Hi, David long date of March twenty seven nineteen ninety was twenty eight years old. We've had several contacts with Mr. long over the years minor of several contacts with him over the years and described it as minor events. But you look at this and twelve people are dead. He did by legally a forty five caliber handgun, which had an extended magazine that's illegal in California. And neighbors told the press that the walls inside the long home live with his mother who was divorced live with his mother were full of holes presumably from being punched her kit. He said long's mother tried to persuade her son to seek counselling, but he refused. The neighbor said she was worried because he wouldn't get help and long in April of this year. There was an encounter with local law enforcement again, a subject of a mental health review at the time. Apparently authorities went to his home after neighbors complained about hearing loud, noises and crashes he apparently was renting and irate over something. He was punching the wall throwing stuff around breaking things, and they did call the mental evaluation squad or individual whoever that is in Thousand Oaks Newbury park is that he lived may came in. They talked to him they deemed him not to be a candidate for involuntary commitment. And so Frank once again. Onto California's red flag law. Authorities could have temporarily confiscated his guns until he went through a full mental evaluation. And look, I'm one that have always advocated due process. So I think at that point if you're calling out to somebody's house, and you're thrown stuff and crashed in punching the wall. The mother is apparently terrified of her son. That would mean to me that let's take him down. Get him a point with a somebody who can evaluate him away from the scene objectively don't want to violate his rights. But at least maybe he would cool off you get a chance to talk to him. Maybe as a result of that. You know, you find out more. Maybe you did at PTSD. Maybe didn't maybe he was just mentally ill. Who knows about? There was a there was several opportunities to take this. This guy's guns and they failed. One that we don't know yet is whatever the motive might have been in this particular case, we haven't usually you you you you start hearing reports of different postings on social media. You hear other people who will say look there were signs all along leading up to this yet made certain statements that he was going to do something like this. But so far we we don't have enough dots to put everything together. As far as a motive is concerned. You mentioned that he was a machine gunner in the Marine Corps. So he knew a little bit about firearms, obviously. And in this particular case used what they call an extended magazine. During the attack which may have been illegal in California. Because the California has outlawed magazines that can hold more than ten rounds. But some older magazine types were exempted from that band. So there's still a lot of unanswered questions. But here we are what there's three now within the last several weeks alone three mass killings. Again. But as we've said before there's usually red flags bells warnings, something that trigger people should know or should be reporting. When when the mother is terrified of the son who's living with her seeking him to get counseling. You know, now again, she she knew there was something wrong with her son. She absolutely hundred percent new and not twelve people are dead because this mother would not act on her son's mental illness. You hate to do it. Because let's face it. This is your flesh and blood, but he killed himself. He killed twelve other people because you wouldn't call somebody, and you wouldn't get forced them to get counseling or undergo. And so we need to change we need to educate people on. There are signs of trouble you need to act. Remember where we see all the time. If you see something say.

"He's back with you now because when it comes to the fight for truth. Fuck never stops. We have identified the suspect approximately an hour ago. The suspect was a dentist by as I n David long. I a n David long birthdate of March twenty seventh nineteen ninety he was twenty eight years old. We've had several contacts with Mr. long over the years minor events traffic collision he was a victim of a battery at a local bar in two thousand fifteen in April of this year, deputies were called to his house burnt subject disturbing. They went to the house. They talked to him. He was he was somewhat irate acting irrationally. They called out our crisis intervention team or mental health specialist who met with them talk to him and cleared and didn't feel that he was qualified to be taken under fifty one fifty and he was left to at that scene. Last april. So this was this terrible shooting that killed twelve people out in California. They they had the sheriff. They're identifying the deceased suspect the shooter here, I think we're all quite clear on who he is. And what he did this was at the borderline bar and grill in Thousand Oaks, California, the shooter apparently took his own life after opening fire in a in a bar. He threw smoke grenades. And there he hit a forty five caliber, Glock, twenty one handgun and had an illegal extended magazine on it. And this was country music country music night at this bar a lot of a lot of college kids there. This is just so sad. So the whole thing is is honesty, so horrific and depressing. It really is beyond words. You have an instance here where the shooter this guy David long, they kept calling him. I, and I don't know if maybe that's pronounces it. But the shooter this guy David long went in and and clearly thought this through beforehand and was just trying to kill as many people as possible he shot security and employees I security guard though on site was on armed, and there were also off duty police officers there, apparently who were also not armed nobody on premises was armed, and this guy was able to shoot and shoot. And then a a sheriff sergeant who had been on the force for twenty nine years arrived on the scene and as he entered the bar. He went in there. He answered the call went into save lives. The shooter engaged him shot him and killed him. A patrol officer was with the sheriff's sergeant and drag dragged him out of the bar after even shot numerous times. But it wasn't enough to they were not able to save his life. Six off duty officers were at the bar that night and those off to the officers apparently shielded some of the young people on the young women and men who were there with their bodies and showed tremendous bravery, and it is a reminder of what our law enforcement does and the risks that they take day in and day out. Here's here's the sheriff. Jeff dean. Talking about what went on here post Columbine.
