"Workload he gets doesn't get it. I still like the floor. Like i still like putting him in my line of every week. I don't mind it he. He's better than a lot of options. And like i say when you when you look at where he finished last year in a year that you would say him and this was underwhelming. This is underwhelming. This an underwhelming season by all accounts only played twelve games. The team was terrible. I mean you know if he can be almost top twenty in a down year for a team as long as they continue to get him workload and he stays healthy he should stay in that range or better. I mean if you look at. He had almost one hundred eighty points last year. No one had two hundred points until like thirteen antonio gibson so between fourteen and where johnson was at the difference wasn't much and if he played fifteen games sixteen games he would have been up there he would have easily have been up there so if you ask me. Hey is a healthy david johnson. A top fifteen back. Yes he is he is. There's no question about it. He's fifteen back when healthy but if you can buy him right now the outside of the top twenty renan back or even less kosolin doesn't believe in him at all at this point that he's old he's it's over the houston a great right now. They're gonna use. Lose the shawn watson if you if you want. Tell me at that price. Come on bro. This is a by. This is where you get and by. This is where you jump in the spot and take advantage of something. It never hurts to have a guy like david johnson on your team in this. These are the guys you bet on. These are the risks and the shots you take. This is one of them while people are making other bad decisions. These are the good decisions easily. Calculated risks that. You take on a player and you go you know what if i can get him for the right price right now. He's totally worth the investment and especially man. We have to understand again. I i like to talk about the mentality. A fancy players and the culture fancy player is no different than stocks. Snow different than sports cards. It's no different than nba. Top shot is no different stuff. We are a culture of people who move fast. Who are whatever is the latest and greatest. We want part of that. Whatever is the exciting buzzword. We want it amy. Johnson is not a buzzword. David johnson is not exciting to people to too many people. his time was coming on. He's when when you look at clyde edwards helaire. Jk dobbins d andre swift. Those names a way better than david. Johnson zimmerman. I hold much more valuable. Because i mean obviously dynasty is legitimately makes sense right and all their value should go up. I value their performance. I would. I would hope you know improves next season. But there's names that you know are in that area that i feel like david. Johnson's floor is better than them. Or just as good as them and his ceiling is is is a good place so yes. Let's wrap this episode up. Do johnson's gone. I don't know what's going to happen to him. I don't care. But david johnson is still like so i will continue to ride on this david johnson. Train all aboard. I'm with it. So if you're a david johnson supporter. I see you my brother. I'm with you on this train to take this to the top. I will continue to to to you know to to be a to be a fan and supporter again. I'm not being delusional about this. I'm not being delusion on nakazono. David johnson's tough. I've running back. I'm not gonna do that. But johnson is the top fifty runningback. He really is he's healthy. He's toughened team. Roundabout facts. no question about it. Could you go higher than that. There's it's potentially possible man. We'll see what happens. Houston i don't wanna get ahead of myself. But i believe david johnson isn't afraid better season just off of games played next year if it happens there's always a chance of injury. I can't predict it. There's always a chance at his. His situation changes all together. But as long as houston stays. Believe in him. Which i will. I think they will. Because they traded form trade the hopkins or not gonna just wanna let this you know guys want to be a one and done type of thing to believe so i feel confident that hussein use the next year. I feel confident that he'll get the workload next year. I feel confident that he'll be hopefully healthy next year. And if all those things. Play out there for me. David johnson's atop the team. That's all i hope. You guys have a great weekend other than as always great.

CONFERENCE PREVIEW: The ACC has Virginia in the catbird seat, with Duke, North Carolina, Florida State and Louisville all giving chase

"So in our rankings, it goes Virginia North Carolina like you pointed out after that it's Florida State Louisville but you had those in The Opposite Order Louisville Florida State I. I think you can argue either way, but you mentioned you talk to the North Carolina staffer. Recently, I talked to somebody at Florida state. Within the past week and they were openly wondering if they if this team. was going to be better than last season's team and last season's team of course, won the ACC, and so I take that for whatever it's worth but. In Tallahassee they think they've got a they think they've got a team that's going to finish. Fifth in the fourth or fifth in the ACC. What's interesting here is I know and Louisville's also. I think quietly really in on their roster I. think There's a line after Florida State and Louisville another tier if you will. When we get to the teams after that? I listen. I. Have Been Wrong about FSU LIKE I say it was good humor here but be tournament picks or general projections I have been off on Fsu more often than been correct. Efficacy was twenty, six and five when the ACC last season and lost Trent forest loss Patrick Williams lost Devin for cell I mean those are the teams four best players they're not that it doesn't still have talent but. That would be just a hell of a deal there. If Leonard Hamilton could make that happen to combine them with Louisville, real, quick I I actually think. It's I think that Louisville can be close to what Lewis last season it was ninth and Ken Palm. It went twenty, four seven it loses all five of its starters but. I just again legit because we're doing this in real time like just like David Johnson Samuel Williamson are are two names that are that in my opinion need to be on our top one, hundred one players and then they bring carly. Jones in from Radford who apparently might be their best player and You know it could be a twenty two point. Game Guy. is going to have a different look to them this season. The top of the ACC is totally fascinating I. Really do think it's Virginia and the other four we've mentioned. Almost, put them in any order. I can't quite see Louisville being top team in the league I can't get there but I think it could be super competitive and everyone below Virginia they're is GonNa make for an interesting race we had in our voting Miami coming in at six and then Syracuse at seven and it's interesting like. Last season I remember talking about this briefly and then you know pain. Democrats and everything's over. So whatever. But. Here's Syracuse. Again picked seventh in our preseason poll ACC poll. In terms of the panelists, some people had them as low as nine. I think you had eight I had him seven. So I'm more of a believer than most but. How many times do you think Syracuse has finished in the top five in the ACC in the past six seasons? Trivia Thanh. Say Zero Zero is the answer two, thousand fifteen eighth two, thousand, sixteen, Ninth, two, thousand, seventeen seventy, two, thousand, eighteen, tenth, two, thousand, nine, hundred, seventh last season six, zero, top. Top five finishes in the League Past Seasons there are twenty, eight and twenty, eight in the. Past. Three seasons they had a surprising final four in two, thousand sixteen and a surprising sweet sixteen in two thousand eighteen. So that Ma- ask some of this, but it is undeniable that. For, one reason or another you know that's one of the biggest brains in college basketball and it hasn't been operating like one of the biggest brains in college basketball lately,

Bill O'Brien: Head coach fired by Houston Texans

"Coach Bill O'Brien has gone from the Houston Texans and nobody can say they're surprised last January. He had his team up twenty four nothing over the chiefs in the playoffs then got outscored fifty one to seven. But as a coach O'Brien can at least say he won four division champions in six years. It's as a GM that he made. You scratch your head in one year he traded former number one picture Davey clowney to Seattle he traded two first round picks a second round pick for Laremy Tunsil and Kenny stills and the whopper of the mall. He traded the Andre Hopkins to Arizona for running back David Johnson as of now. Johnson is thirty seventh in the League in rushing and Hopkins leads the NFL in receiving. Yeah. That'll get you fired but not as fast as an oh four start despite having to Shawn Watson and Jj Watt on your team a heated argument with what may have been the last straw for O'Brien. Then again, have you ever stood next to Jj watt they can't say O'Brien doesn't have courage. He just doesn't have a job anymore.

Fantasy Football Forecast: One BIG THING you should know for every Week 2 matchup

"I sit out the way New Orleans versus Las Vegas raters. We saw New Orleans showcase really really solid, really great defensive performance against Tom. Brady and the buccaneers They were pretty on disappointed as a team, lot of penalties on their defensive side of the front. The saints rebel to take advantage of that. La Raiders played against the Carolina Panthers last week and gave up thirty points. It's very possible that New Orleans doesn't look as Resi as they did against a really solid defensive front in Tampa. Bay and they might have their way with a raiders team that is still kind of pretty young and trying to get their footing and all this stuff. They don't they had an injury to majority of their wide receivers in the last game. So Dan, Waller seems to be their only solid option. At the receiving side of things that might mean there in Waller's uptick in target's share and my means, he gets an ends on this year or this week maybe something good happens for him I'm buying all the stock now I'm Kamara right now for this game, this should be Alvin Kamara. KAMERA's two touchdown, a hundred yards from scrimmage plus game. This is this is the one I wouldn't see why would be any otherwise and to be quite frank. I think that a lot of players on seem to have a really big game and this would be a really fun game to see trae Kwan Smith. I'm going to bring them up again. This'll be a fun game Trey Smith. Look to be a solid. Relieving game just for brevity and sake of saving saints, fans of fantasy fans alike, some worry as to what the saints offense can look like without Michael Thomas Soaking up a lot of the defensive pressure. All right. So Fancy implications all over the place you know Josh Jacobs. This could be a really good test to see just how much they believe in Josh Jacobs as a pass catcher because I don't know how much he's going to be able to do in the run game considering New Orleans is when had and still does on one of the better run defenses in all the football. I think the best game. Pound for pound this week has to be the night game on NBC, where New England is playing against Seattle that they're going to be playing in Seattle New England the we have a kind of banged up cam and she says it's the there's no hamstring issue but. Of Most people are saying that he does, Kinda. Have a little bit of a hamstring thing going on and we'll see how that affects him with all read option stuff and what we saw from last Sunday's performance maybe we started to see cam throw a little bit more, and then we can really see just what this doing his offense really has to offer for them sure that bill will have them ready for whatever and we saw sea hawks offense that basically let Russell Wilson do what people have been asking. Them to let Russell. Wilson do for basically the majority of the back half of the dense. You know twenty seventeen was to let Russ Cook and Cook did Russell Wilson? Do He only missed four passes? He had A. Great amount of yardage great touchdown passes de que look. Nice at times he did have some drops of course, Tyler Lockett looked really good. Chris Carson looked amazing. In the past game. We had some really good screens run in for touchdowns. They got tight ends involved the plethora tight ends at the seahawks own and their defense was literally flying around all over the place. Now, there are a lot of garbage time touchdown stuff in that Falcons game that I'm not GonNa hold against the defense when it mattered. Jamal Adams and of course. Everybody else in that defense just looked phenomenal. They just looked physical. They looked like they were flying around and making plays they look very formidable as team very formidable. So. That is a game as the May have a lot of implemented implications on things so KEEP IN MIND I think one of the better secondaries in the League is New England's granted they played against. The, dolphins but they did not allow that many receptions or receiving yards at all for either receiver on the dolphins and Tyler Lockett, and care very athletic fast guys but. It's going to be tough. Is GonNa be a tough about we'll see what happens. They may have to change up the strategy of leading Russ Cook for this game in particular and work through the old tried and true run the ball and try to make something happen later on in the game. But for US Russell Wilson owners like myself I hope they just let him throw the ball a little bit more that'd be nice. That would be fun I think we'd all like to enjoy that. So moving on towards another game I think the Baltimore Game at four, twenty, five eastern standard time on CBS is going to be a good one, Baltimore versus Houston. This game can go I think Houston is a team that kid look Jacqueline Hyde and they've been jekyll and Hyde ever since the Shawn Watson is come on that team and. Not Sage. It's the Sean played bad last Thursday. But he definitely did not look comfortable one hundred percent of the time and you just was trying to make plays. His offensive line wasn't there fully stout at all and when it was time to just throw throw throw things Kinda got out of hand for Houston Houston can't be a team that gets to behind too quickly or else it is going to be nightmarish for the offensive line. And it's going to be a bad day for Shawn Watson even though he can make miracles happen at will while Samour's in perfect position to take on a team that showcase bad tackling display. So this is a team. So if this is the time where you want to be like, okay JK Dobbins, he didn't have that many targets but hey, he got two touchdowns in is the time to test out the JK Dobbins is going to be. The album? Kamara. To Marketing Rooms Mark Ingram. So we'll see what happens here Lamar he this seem doesn't tackle well, Lamar could have himself a anywhere closer to forty to fifty yards rushing easily against this team if he wants it, and of course, Mark Andrews is a guy who I would think would eat very well against the Houston team that allowed drivers Kelsey to get like five catches in the first half with ease marched up and down the field with ease Look to see how David Johnson looks in his second bout. David Johnson had a nice surprise of a Comeback Week one performance that a lot of people were speculating was possible and he delivered for the most part. So that was encouraging for many people to go ahead and see so I wouldn't. Put it past him to do it once again. That's really really against the I think that Brandin cooks is still a bit. So that would not be. Great for folks owners. And I would be looking at anybody who has. Willie snead Willie snead was all over the place last week and it was almost to a shocking amount of how much willie snead was dependent on and I said Willie snead. That was not who I meant to say I meant to say will fuller will fuller will around the field for the Texans last week and I would like to see him continue that stretch because that would be. Pretty awesome to be completely honest. I. Would like to see a will fuller healthy and showcasing that he is here to stay in this league and thus it would not make me feel nearly as bad for short.

Trump and 2015 McCain comments

"Donald trump is vehemently denying allegations made in a shocking Atlantic piece, which claims that trump refused to visit a US military cemetery near Paris in two thousand, eighteen because the fallen soldiers were in his words, losers and suckers. Now I say it was a shocking piece but to be honest with you not so shocking when you consider all the different times, he transparently brazenly said terrible things about members of our military who happen to disagree with him politically. But here he is denying it and then I'll give you what the facts are to think that I would make statements negative to. Our military and our fallen heroes nobody's done what I've done. With the budgets with the military budgets with getting pay raises military it is a disgraceful situation. By a magazine that's a terrible magazine. I don't read it by disagreed with John. McCain. But still respected him and I had to approve his funeral is president. We lowered the flags I had to approve that nobody else I had to approve it when you think I'm just thinking back. I had to approve either Air Force One or military plane. To go to Arizona to pick up his casket and I approved it immediately. So. Let's take a look at a trump tweet from two thousand fifteen because there's always tweet. This is from July two, thousand fifteen where trump referred to John McCain as a loser. I mean he tweeted an article about himself calling John McCain loser. So he was bragging about it also when McCain died in two thousand, eighteen trump refused to lower the White House flag back to half staff even though it's become customary for presidents to sign a proclamation calling for the flag to remain at half staff for members of Congress until the day of interment, and then one other piece of evidence to Kinda refute trump's narrative in that video take a look and I said somebody should run against John McCain who has been. In my opinion not so hot I supported him. I supported for President I raised a million dollars from a lot of money. I supported him. He lost he let us down but he lost. So. I never liked him as much after that because I don't like to lose. But. But Frank Franklin we're get doing. He hit me he's a war hero. He's a war hero he's a war hero presumed captured. I like people that weren't captured. Okay I hate to tell you. That was from twenty. Fifteen event in Iowa. So. I don't know how to talk trump supporters anymore. That's why I'm done with them in my personal life and everywhere else because the guy. Ridiculous Liar. Does he know that he tweeted on John McCain's loser does he know he said on? Massimo you guys all remember when he said for people who weren't. But earlier, he said, I don't like losers referring to John McCain. So why did he come out yesterday and say no I never malsor. Each just unbelievable he's capable and so if you say, Hey, know what I love people who are Liars Okay again I mean do you boo okay. and. And look again. I. Blame the media. And Because So many politicians lie and they never call it out. They'd never they enabled politicians lies for decades. So eventually, you got one that. So over the top that even. Though. And remember you guys remember it took them like a couple of years before they finally gather up the nerve to say, well, what Donald Trump said, there was not correct. I'm forgetting the name of the CNN analyst who finally just said it and then went on this three minute rant fact checking trump. Fact checking trump's RNC speech but he started that three minute rant by saying trump lied he's a liar and I was like. Is. This CNN what's going on? And so yeah, you're right Jangling the fact that that excited me because it's so rare I think mean something and we'll get you the name of the person I'm talking about because he deserves all the credit I'm kind of blanking right now but look I actually think with this particular story and a few others. The media has done a decent job. So for instance, business insider had a very lengthy list highlighting all the different times, Donald trump attacked members of the military right and fallen soldiers. So I wanna read a few of them right now in fact, as you guys can probably remember in July of two thousand, sixteen trump attacked the family of captain who mine con a slain soldier someone who died. Fighting for the country dismissing a speech his father Kaiser Khan made because he said Khan's mother hadn't been allowed to speak the family said she had not spoken because she too emotional to talk about her son's death. And he just kept going after that family. It was it was honestly disgusting in October of two thousand seventeen trump forgot the name of slain US Army Sergeant La- David Johnson while he was on the phone with his widow, Johnson was killed in an ambush in. Niger. While while in active service. Misha. Johnson said the call was trump made her cry and trump told her that her husband knew would he had signed up for in November of two thousand Eighteen Fox News is Chris Wallace asked trump about his thoughts on retired Admiral William mcraven a former navy seal been. who was behind the mission that killed Osama bin. Laden. He interrupted Wallace and said Hillary Clinton. Fan. When Wallace continued trump did to excuse me Hillary Clinton Fan trump went on to repeat that mcraven supported Clinton which by the way he hadn't as well as former President Barack Obama and said frankly wouldn't have been nice if we got Osama bin Laden a lot sooner than that. I mean, there's so many more examples Jank but I mean I want to give you an opportunity to respond to some of them. By the way Daniel Dale is the CNN reporter that I was referring to earlier go ahead. So we've seen him call the generals, losers, thousands of times and so. I guess people are shocked at that. He would go and call the fallen soldiers losers as well, and not just stop a general's or veterans or captured soldiers. But is it really shy at all? He calls everybody lose them in his denial. He called the military people who were the sources for this story lowlifes and liars. If you're trying to deny that you'd ever call anybody in the military losers you shouldn't then turn around in your denial and call them lowlifes. Buyers. So I look. Landing brokers story with four sources. Then Washington Post back it up with three sources and the Associated Press also found sources all saying the same thing. I actually want to read a few excerpts from the Washington Post piece. Again, these aren't the same sources. These are additional sources who also spoke to the Washington Post about. Their experience with trump and what he had to say about fallen soldiers in one account. The president told senior advisors that he didn't understand why the US government plays such a high value on finding. Oh. This is so disgusting finding soldiers missing in action because they had performed poorly and gotten caught in deserved what they got according to a person familiar with the discussion. Okay. That That part of the story like I don't know all of it is gross but that part hit me the hardest because he just doesn't value people's lives and think about losing a family member that way and knowing that the president of the United States does not care to find their bodies. A trump believes people who served in Vietnam War must be losers. They hadn't gotten out of it according to a person familiar with the comments. Trump also complained bitterly to then chief of staff, John Kelly that he didn't understand why Kelly and others in the military treated. McCain, who had been imprisoned and tortured during the Vietnam War with such reverence isn't he kind of a loser? Trump asked according to a person familiar with trump's comments. So. Look at Donald Trump says, this is outrageous synonymous sources. Donald Trump also, just a couple of days ago said that there was a plane full of thugs who are gonNA come and disturb. His, acceptance speech and caused violence and when asked, who told you that he said? I can't tell you basically it's anonymous. So. I'm supposed to believe your anonymous source of a trust me to go. You would know trust me. But we're not supposed to believe now it looks like about a half, a dozen military sources for that talked to three different publications all saying the same thing and all saying things that are very similar to what you said before and by the way yesterday show before the Washington Post Associated Press stories came out I said I guarantee you. that. He thinks that they're suckers 'cause he out of be fake doctor's note because his daddy bottom one and he thinks they're suckers for not being able to get out of the war his spoil less and it turns out. That's exactly what he said according to the military sources that heard him say. And remember when sources are anonymous to the general public that doesn't mean that there are anonymous to the reporters. Reporters have to vet their anonymous sources and corroborate what they're saying So maybe they're anonymous to us, but they're not anonymous to the reporters.

"Of star running backs who have missed orbin limited in practice this week due to injury the biggest question marks on this list Todd Gurley and David Johnson both those players missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday Adam get us going here Christian McCaffrey is they faced the box yesterday they faced the books over in London Christian McCaffrey went through practice this morning head coach Ron Rivera said he's five it sounds like more of a rest maintenance issue with Christian McCaffrey not going to be an issue for him on Sunday morning at nine thirty eastern he is expected to play against the buccaneers field ABC American saints at the Jags you don't like injuries pop up during the week Suzanne Alvin Kamara was added to the injury report on Thursday because of an ankle issue he was limited no clear indication whether or not he will play if for some reason he sits Latavius Murray's the next man up in the world is in that back at huge matchup rams niners what about Todd Girls it has not practiced the last two days suzy he is nursing a quad injury. Sean mcvay made it sound yesterday like they couldn't practiced in yesterday's if they needed to so it sounds like they're managing and again we'll find out today where they listed on the injury report about David Johnson against the Falcons not yet it just seems so far this week because of a back issue susie but GM steve kind was on the radio in Arizona this morning express some optimism about Johnson plane he did not he's not one hundred percent certain but there's at least a chance with David Jones Attivo Chris Carson be ready to go against the Browns Susan your field mentioned the did Alvin Kamara was added to the injury report mid week same is true of Chris Carson with a shoulder injury limited during practice on Thursday he's such a physical back you worry about her shoulder injury with Chris Carson if there's any questions about his availability for any backup b. let's add a wide receiver to the mix the chiefs I recall that will of course he has been suffering that clavicle injury all the way back in week one limited participant practice all week last week he has been limited so far at this week's who's the seems like there is a chance in a game that all of a sudden is one that people are seemingly given the texts better chance to win on Sunday in Kansas City.

Johnson's Suspension Of Parliament Was 'Unlawful,' U.K. Court Rules

"Support for NPR comes from James Madison University named for the man known as the father of the US constitution presenting the next Madison Vision Series Lecture on November fourth learn more at J. Dot Mu Slash Civic British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has lost big votes again and again in parliament and now he has suffered a huge defeat in court the UK Supreme Court has ruled against the prime minister. Let's remember Johnson suspended parliament for five weeks in what was seen seen as an effort to limit debate on Brexit. Will that is the act that the court has found to be illegal and let's bring. NPR's Frank Langfitt who is in the English seaside aside city of Brighton this morning frank. Hey Good Morning David. What exactly is the court saying here well if you remember. David Johnson argued that he needed this long extension so we could work on his legislative agenda but lady Brenda Hall. She was speaking for the eleven justices this morning and she said the suspension effectively prevented legislators from doing their job. This is the way that she put it. It had the effect of frustrating or preventing the ability of parliament want to carry out its constitutional functions without reasonable justification. Okay frank a big setback for the prime minister. I mean after a series as of setbacks in parliament now defeated in the courts date has not WanNa vote yet. So how is he is. He sounding still upbeat. Well it's interesting he is. He's going along with this. I don't think he has any choice. This was such a resounding verdict from the Supreme Court but he also says he's going to continue with this policy which the plan is we've been talking about is for Britain to leave the European Union on October thirty first one way or the other Johnson of course is in New York for the UN General Assembly meeting and a and here's what he had to say from New York. Obviously this is a but we will respect. We respect the judicial process. I have to say I strongly disagree with what the justices found I didn't think it's writes but we will go ahead and correspondent post-partum comeback. I think is a good case for getting with the Queen's speech anyway. We'll do that and David when he says the Queen's speech what he's talking talking about is he his legislative agenda which he is planned he's supposed to give on October fourteenth so he does plan to go through with that but House Speaker John Berko he he says that parliament will tomorrow and we'll see how they spend that time certainly we're gonNA probably hear a lot more criticism and scrutiny of Johnson's policies in in the days and weeks ahead and practically I mean what what does this mean for among other things specs it in this October thirty deadline politically this. This is yet another setback for Boris Johnson but I don't think you're going to see him back down at all. He's already said to his party. I'm going to do this do or die and he has. I don't think he has a lot of choice there. we are expecting a general election coming up in November or December and certainly Johnson knows that if he goes back on his word he could lose a lot of voters in his greatest fear. Most people who who followed his career his greatest fear would be actually not being able to stay as prime minister and and serving not a very long time well and that brings up the opposition the opposition leader Pro Labor Party and you're actually covering their convention right in in Britain I mean would they have had their own problems. As as this brexit process of been going they have had their own problems. David one thing is they've not been able to come up with a policy that is clear. They're kind of straddling the fence on this but I gotta say today this morning for Labor. This was a a big victory. They were euphoric very excited. Jeremy Corbyn the Labor leary came out on stage. He said this verdict showed that had contempt for democracy heat abused power and this. This is how corporate put it. I invite Boris Johnson in the historic words to consider his position. The become the shortest serving prime ministers have obeyed okay frank. Let's summarize British politics in turmoil and we have no idea what it happens in Brexit is that said about where we still are feels like. It's been that for more than eight years. David N._p._R.'s Frank Langfitt reporting this morning. Thanks so much have you David.

Chargers, Melvin Gordon And Ten Million Dollars discussed on SportsCenter AllNight

"Time Joseon adders are reporting the agent for Chargers running back Melvin Gordon has requested a trade because charges are not backing off their offer of ten million per season which represents a roughly twice the salary schedule to make in the final year of his rookie deal they remain at a record you know not wanting to report because he feels like he's valuation is higher than ten million when you have to put that in the context knowing that Todd Gurley right now is what at fourteen point three lay beyond del thirteen one David Johnson at thirteen million my understanding is that the comp that in being out there right now is that David Johnson and Melvin Gordon are similar in terms of how they should be paid and they are definitely still at a gap between those numbers and so right now he's going to stay out until the situation gets resolved nice of Gordon toll charges that if he does not receive a new deal that's acceptable obviously he'll sit out demanded trade he's followed through on both threats Louis Riddick Damien woody Chris Mortensen with insight on how this plays out in if Gordon has any leverage in this hold out he doesn't have the leverage because the charges obviously feels so his replacements is number two or number three players like Austin Meckler Justin Jackson will give them enough of a of a level of production a percentage of production may not equal what number will give them enough to where they have enough other weapons on the field to make up the difference and they're just going to go with the you know one year at a time type of philosophy and if he doesn't like it then they're gonna trade I think he's out on the football team before the regular season starts and hopefully he can find that one suitor who not only is willing to pay a high price to get him but is also willing to pay him long term which is what he's after after lands a former running back and running back coach and the one thing I know by if the land he's very confident that he can find another running back you mention it already the fact that Philip rivers in the last year for the of Joey Bosa is coming up they have players in the pipeline so to think that Melvin Gordon's going to get you know the levy on bail early heard Todd Gurley absolute because are guaranteed a lot of people looking to toggle the contract and is like wool we don't want any part of that so okay Melvin Gordon is in a situation where he's not gonna get paid by the Los Angeles Chargers and more likely he's going to be sued no with another team actually ten million dollars is the charges off and that's kind of where the value him and they do have other contracts to get done and they're not a cash rich team we've established that for different reasons that without getting into details Melvin Gordon's only played one full season out of a source for any is a good back is he an elite back you can argue one way or the other but the bottom line is the charges are going to get permission for Bilbo is represented to go get a trade they want to control the situation he's not levy on bills he has a contract levy on bill did not have a contract last year so it's not a similar situation ten million dollars is the charges off and that's kind of where the value him and they do have other contracts to get done and they're not a cash rich team we've established that for different reasons that without getting into details but Melvin Gordon's only played one full season of the source for any is a good back is he in the league back you can argue one way or the other but the bottom line is the charges are going to get permission for Bilbo is represented to go get a trade they want to control the situation he's not levy on bills he has a contract levy on bill did not have a contract last year so it's not a similar situation ultimately I think the charges feeling and we talked about this yesterday and make your Damian Moore and and the lens perspective is they do fill like if necessary if gore insanity assigned eventually then you can put them on the market as a team it is the one with the agent do the shopping Eric Williams covers the Chargers for ESPN provided this take on why the charger should find a resolution with Gordon if they have aspirations to make a run in the playoffs he was on Spain and company yeah I mean it's basically a stand off at this point you know Gordon wants to be paid amongst the highest running backs normally he thinks his his statistics over the last couple years point to that he should be pay you know like David Johnson girly let me del the Chargers obviously disagree on that date they are pricey them again according to reports and and I believe they're accurate about ten million per year you mean another structure the contract how much of that is guaranteed how much that is fully guaranteed when he would receive that type of money so those are things that are going on in terms of negotiations to try to get Melvin in the camp I did the things that are promising if both sides want to get a deal done Melvin Gordon wants to play for the charge the Chargers want Melvin Gordon the place so you would think at some point there there would be a compromise that could be made to get Mel in the camp because he remains to be seen you know Melvins representation that told the Chargers that you know that they would demand a trade at the contract demands aren't aren't made the charges are willing to trade him they basically haven't control for the next two to three years due to make five point six million in the following years rookie deal and they get franchise in another couple years no but it is important in terms of where the charge you want to go in the post season they can win games without knowing the crew that last year they want **** when no one was injured the issue is is can they want simple without melon and I think the answer probably is no and so I think that does give me a little bit of leverage yeah well he might want to look Gordon at levy on bell scenario the now jets running back doesn't second guess himself for sitting out last season a decision that cost them fourteen million in salary he did say you wish you could have told fantasy owners some type of way to not draft him or pick him never made it on the field

"Websites the fantasy footballers dot com to further reflect on Thursday night on some of the good aspects and some of the changes that are taking place. We did get word just before the show began that ain't Mayan sacrifice had taken place. Mike McCoy has been relieved of all of his duties. He will no longer be the offensive coordinator for is on a cardinals Byron left, which we'll be upgraded into the offense coordinator position. So the very first question everyone is going to have. I'm going to pose it to Jason because he has day. David Johnson in the league of record Byron moving up, is this David Johnson is freed, you need to go and get him on your team right now while the values occur to be low or no? No, this is hype means what this means is that you hold him. If you're a David Johnson owner at gives you hope it gives you the idea that maybe they'll throw the ball to him, so you're not even l. that on that hope. Right. I'm not going to sell on that hope because I believe it is there, but I'm also not going to go purchase because you're still dealing with. I mean, despite the fact that they ran up the middle over and over again or tried to date, didn't have a left guard or a right guard starter and a rookie center. Yes, they might run David Johnson to the outside a little bit more. Thank goodness, but it's still bad when your offense of line is completely banged up and injured, your quarterback is a rookie. These are not good thing for David Johnson. I always hesitate to give any rose. The outlook for a cardinal because we'll be accused of being somehow, right, you know, Rosen cluttered colored glasses here, but I, I'm very optimistic. I would purchase David Johnson because the owners are frustrated beyond belief. They watched in nationally televised disaster movie last night. He scored very few points. And the thing I love about Byron left, which is that this is an area in sky. This is a guy who was there it. It's not a new. A new office coordinator coming in that is unfamiliar with David. Johnson is unfamiliar with the vertical passing game. This was a handpicked Arians recruit that has been around when David Johnson's had success, and it can't be worse than it was. I agree with Jason look. You're not ask. You're not going to buy him for a high price, but you can maybe by him as cheap as you'll ever get him right now. I mean any? Who would you rather have? I mean, I'm trying to pick a name. Amount that you could go get him for? Yeah, give me Harlow side is sure if I could trade Carlos Hyde for David Johnson, I would absolutely. Would you rather have Philip Lindsay rest of season or David John? I would still much rather have David Johnson despite the injury to Royce Freeman, some reports saying it's a high eagle spray might be a few weeks. Lindsey looks great, but I would still supports rather have David John. So there is a emceeing poke around sure. Poke around with a needle and see if someone can make a mistake..

"Deal. You beat enjoy your Super Bowl. You have five beat you with a Brady they. Oh, hatreds poll, patriots. Don't have fun. We have fun. You haven't fun now, but maybe too much fun. It's hard. I why? When the patriots when you've been the king of the league for fifteen years? I've always tell me about fun. We have fun. You guys don't have. We have so much fun. There's little Wayne people soup. I was having fun. They want team bonding thing that the patriots have ever done. Have you ever seen the Halloween clip of when Randy moss walks into Bill checks office? He's like, you come into the Halloween rollerskating party in pretty in hell checks, maybe I will bell jet dressed as a pirate. I thought you were gonna say, when. Nutsy he'll do. That's fucking funny. We haven't boys. Winning Winning's fun. No, I agree with you take winning and being bored every day of the week. But at some point I mean, turn on, let's let's have a lotta fun phones what? Yeah, we a roller skating Halloween. It seems like you guys don't even celebrate people's birthdays that in New England. Fun anyways, I thought the eagles, yes, I'm to do something in locker rooms. I thought the funds would win this game. I would be very nervous in eagle and right now, very and JJ tourney c, l he was crushing the play com- Doug Peterson also, but now the eagles talking about getting maybe something David Johnson love. David Johnson would open up a starting spot for chase Edmunds from Fordham, but regardless. Yeah, I mean, I think they will get Fordham shutt- if I could see them program making a big move because I mean they're two and three. They're feeling the heat, they know they gotta do something on bell sitting out there. Would it be shocked, apple affiliate? Has you know they? They've kind of gone through a rash of injuries. I mean, they all along. There's a couple of things. They're struggling injuries. People realize this is usually if you're starting for your team, you're the best they have. Right? Let's just jump out there. Very few teams have quality depth. And when you get to the second half and your and your debt is trash, you go down and it's not because of. It's not because guys aren't into it or you just think you're never. I don't know where it is, but the biggest one thing that helped the Steelers particular pats is our number twos are just as qualified number one, big time. And so you don't have quality number twos, you're gonna lose. I have a nice troll blog in the queue, a tweet out whether the eagles should bench Carson Wentz. Yes. No, like seventy thousand votes. Fifty fifty. Yeah, I have that in the in in the ready people are upset with, where's the poll of just twenty two people were Doma Carson, no Philly. But there's enough being folded when the Super Bowl, how much do you think of it is coming off the, I think a lot of Deir. So there's a clip when he was born, I forgot what it is a clip of him warmed up when he was in training camp. He has a ball and he's trying to redirect his leg kind of drag them behind them. And I was like, that's not good. That was he didn't look like he had that kind of quick step. I think he's kind of Muslim and I think a lot of guys you come off ACL so much of it is mental man. Disability plan, redirect. You know in before Carson got hurt. He can run he scrambled. He doesn't have that pop. So I think a lot of his mental right now, he's just not performing sending Steven Shay that clip of Bella check in moss talking about the Halloween party. I don't know. Another headline sort of ties into the patriots a little bit. The chiefs dominated the jacks thirty, two fourteen. I needed to have five second street year starting five and they go to Foxborough on Sunday. I I was. I thought the Jags was all over the Jackson. I thought they were gonna win this week. Good defense beats, good offense. They're gonna go in show. I mean, Mahomes enter a touchdown, but don't screw thirty points again, grand for one weeks in a row throats us now touchdown, Denver. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Came back to win, did it? Yeah..

Arizona Cardinals turn to QB Josh Rosen in 4th quarter vs. Chicago Bears

"To the bears. Meanwhile, trying to hang on against the cardinals. We saw Josh Rosen coming to the game. Let's get more on that. From brock. Rosen came into the game with the cardinals trailing sixteen fourteen three consecutive turnovers by the starter. Sam bradford. Got Rosen into the game with the cardinals trailing here. The barriers often takes over after Rosen. Threw interception on fourth at five curious moving third to hate. Take down for a three yard loss which put the offense in a tough situation. Right now, the bears trying to run out the final minute of the game actually minute. Five left up sixteen to fourteen Mitchell Trubisky twenty four for thirty five hundred twenty yards through the air. Interception. Trubisky is eight yard rushing on the ground. Gordon? Howard Twenty-one carried for fifty four yards in a one yard touchdown. You also have Alibaba to three catches fifty yard delete the wide receivers. They're for the Chicago Bears for the Arizona Cardinals. David johnson. Four catches thirty yards. A twenty one yard touchdown catch in the first quarter also rookie skills. Jones one catch thirty that also sport opened up things, but that was a long time ago for the cardinals fifteen fourteen nothing lot of Saint Saint Bradford quite his way out of the starting lineup us thirteen ninety one hundred fifty seven yards two touchdowns in to intercept. Also gave a fumble Josh Rosen on that drive three twenty seven yard pick one zero five here left to go bears. Santa hold on. And this thing sixteen fourteen the move the two. And one in season. And that was a rookie mistake by Josh Rosen was and it was he's trying to throw an out pattern. The D back actually would have done himself a favor by just not going to boil down rather than intercepting because it was down. And they ended up losing five or six yards on a plate. Whatever. Watching Rosen did move them down the field. They got a couple of first downs. Open wide receiver is the bears were in a little bit of a prevent defense. Once they crossed me to feel the bear tightened up the little bit and Rosen success stopped and ended with a fourth down attempt pink bears. If they get a first damage games over cardinals are using their timeouts to try and get the ball back. One more time if the bears can hold on and win this game. You're talking about the first place Chicago Bears because the Packers the Vikings are both in one one in one. And even if the lions win tonight, they're only going to one and two this would make the bears to and one. They'd be sitting atop the

"So if we get those factors definitely within the realm of possibilities. Another one, Matthew specific to. Running back saquon Barkley over two thousand total yard. That's aggressive. Yeah, that let me ask you this. Can you remember the last time somebody went over two thousand yards and single. I don't. I don't know. Kyle. We know like Bill Delaney on bell actor. David Johnson did it then David Johnson. I'm just wondering I maybe it could happen last year for all. I knew. I feel like David Johnson did it in twenty looking it up while you know, I don't know. I'm not hauling outing at me too. I think that that might predict I believe David Johnson did it in two thousand sixteen confirmed. Deejay did DJ in two thousand sixteen intro. Todd Gurley last year, too. Okay. Last year I was not asking isn't challenging. You curious when the last time it happened? I thought for some reason I had taught girly like one thousand nine hundred in my mind. But anyway. Yeah, I mean, so I just think the usage will be they're both in the passing game and the running game. I think the volume will be tremendous on saquon Barkley. Remember last year, the new giants running backs that included the likes of Wayne Goldman, an Orleans darkwa Newark giants, running backs as a total had over two thousand scrimmage yards last season in completely lost season. And so now with Beckham back healthy, the emergence of Ingram shepherd, a new offensive coordinator that will do a great job, not not coordinator, but I mean, Pat Shurmur the, you know, Pat Shurmur offense, which does such a great job of getting running backs in space and that'll take advantage of what Barclay does. Well, yeah, give me saquon Barkley who by the way over his last sixteen collegiate games had over two thousand two hundred scrimmage yards as well. So, yeah, totally yards for sake one who is talking him up. A storm in that fantasy marathon. I didn't know if he would pull the trigger, but he did. He took them number one overall in the war room, leak draft, Todd, Gurley. David Johnson, of course lady and yes, last night down to come number one overall, I think on over Oakland, Berkeley. One thing to keep in mind is that we always talk about like running backs and their offensive line. A really good running back makes an offensive line that may not be that good look particularly good. No one talks about the chiefs offense of line last year going into the season as this like dominating group cream hunt went wild. I think the chiefs offensive line is pretty good. But the point is one makes the other side look better. It's like a pass rush and a secondary they? Yeah. And then taking some steps in the offseason obviously to improve that. Sure. HOGAN is a top ten fantasy wide receiver. You know, and I know he's somebody you like as well. Remember Chris, HOGAN, I, this may not even be that bold. Honestly, part of being injured last year. Chris HOGAN was a top ten penalty wide receiver for the first eight weeks of last year. And that was with Brandin cooks on the team. No Edelman last year, of course. But HOGAN, who was getting more red zone looks than rob gronkowski. You know, he was more resin looks than rob gronkowski on on his team. Hey, Kyle get out of my ear, please. Yeah, we can. We can hear you on the thing right now. There were I e Kyle? Yeah. Yeah. Kyle was talking to my ear as I'm kinda talk to you guys and you guys, I can barely talk to you guys with no one in my ears talking to me anyway..

"But he would move the chains and can keep the offense on the field south -olutely. Our shot came here ready to just take on gambling coming on on the Cowboys. I mean, this is good. You could stick around a little bit longer predicate this year. We're gonna talk about who the vez running back is in the NFL and we're gonna put you on the hot seat. So Alan. So who is the best running back in the NFL? Well, here are the candidates. I, we have as Elliot rushed for nearly a thousand yards and only ten games last season. Next Todd Gurley who was the offensive player of the year and just got a huge contract. And then finally, we're talking about living on bell who had nearly two thousand total yards. Eleven touchdowns last year we're joined once again by former NFL running back Rashad Jennings when you hear those three guys, those three names, who's your best year, those three. I mean, I'm curious as to why one guy's not even on the list, David Johnson, I'm fair. I'll buy that. He should be on the list somewhere. Definitely. I mean, if I take him up pick is him two thousand sixteen led to Lee in all purpose yards as difficult to do. He played all sixteen games when he's healthy. He's proven that he could be arguably the best running back in the NFL and he's coming back healthy. So. So I like to see four of them, but between those three stuff, how do you determine what the best is is? Are you going by way catch ability? Are you going by moving and change? Are you going door ability? Are you going by fitting system? I mean, if I'm if I'm a franchise guy, if I'm starting an organization, I'm building a ball club. If I had to pick those three to Bill my team around. Stuff. I'll flip a coin, but if I had to pick somebody right now today. Todd Gurley I went, I went with lady on slightly over Todd where the simple fact of his ability both of these guys. When you talk the other day, you had Todd above. No, no, I didn't. This thing is when you get when you know lady, I'm no, who is most important or but anyway, when you look at it lady on and Todd splitting hairs, because both of the guys can run the football. Obviously both of the gas can catch the ball football down the they lied them up in different areas of the field. So this why would go lady on Todd Gurley? But Todd is three years younger, so I, I would not. I would not begrudge anybody taking tog early. So I look at it like this. We gotta draft and it's like, okay, you got tiger. I ain't mad about getting if they say you got, I'm not bad about getting Todd Gurley, but I'm saying I'm taking one of those two guys. I'm gonna lead toward lady on over over Todd. But if you notice who didn't get selected number one, I noticed it was Amy with. Just straight hate. It's cowboy, hey, I know in, you know, in your heart of hearts who you know is the best running back. I know what you think. I can just see it in your body language. I can see. You can't help, but stifle a grin over it because you know what's happening. What everybody's saying lady on the tiger everybody coming here running back. All the other guys said they would take on or tog early oversee is only you stucco Zeke. Yes, it's what I see. And when you say, how do you define it? Just what are your eyes tell you when you do tests? Just TV..

"Lasting you wanted to take them get hurt happens every year whether it was david johnson last year i mean that was kind of that was different week one where people have been hurt in preseason and they already got taken on a team which is kind of annoying and unfortunate but there's a espn their list of one hundred ninety two players should be on every team and of course i already know because i did all these mock drafts and our t no dj more i don't like how look at all these receivers only gosh so many receivers on this list this is ridiculous i wanna receivers the first quarterback isn't aaron is aaron rodgers sixty four so goes to show you the sixth round about the six round is when you're going to start picking quarterbacks at the earliest of course yeah make sure you keep in college of your fellow drafters and if you have any eager drafters who are like non taking quarterback earlier like meeting your mind they can you know as raider fan and they wanna take derek carr every year that of we have to table but didn't take lead and jerry dare call so right so we're looking at some of these guys might i'm gonna talk about some guys that are going to benefit from having a new quarterback this year so like last year i was in for example we have to receivers that are usually pretty productive fantasy players in denver with sanders aimed mary's thomas but they've had a couple of years due to the fact that they've had trevor simian throwing them or combination trevor siemian and brock osweiler maybe a little paxton lynch sprinkled in there as well but nothing nothing write home about nothing great case keenum this year case keenum i think this year was is going to utilize those weapons a little more royce freeman as well in the backfield he's a nice pass catching running back so i think he's great safety valve for keenum throat to he doesn't the thing about keenum is he's not not really dry and on the field that much it's going to help that he's playing it in altitude maybe a little more a little more flight on the ball but as far as mary's thomas sanders go i think that those intermediate routes position routes are going to be very well utilized play action is going to utilize so i think the fact that you have case keenum there is really help i think it's going to help sanders sanders gets open those smaller a little windows and keenum shown ability to be able to hit those quick quick passes and the little dart throws short yardage over the middle west coast let centers uses elusiveness to open to get away run for some yards after the catch sanders who i've had picked him i've had him on my team is the last bike last few round picks the last couple years he's really up and down i think there was a stretch last year where every time i played we'd be averaged blow average or if i put my bench you have a crazy day or at least it happened one time so it can't be kind of annoying but i mean that's that's fantasy for you case keenum is going to help him out quite a bit there in up there in stanford so same thing i mean that he has altitude and the ball may be full fly a little further on those throws so does the defense but he's also very valuable in those in cutting deep routes we'll see how keenum can throw the kneel down there with those during into down the middle in the middle of the secondary hopefully they can establish a run with devante booker and and royce freeman in order to get that play action working because that's really a key for a lot of teams that's why you see a lot of offense that can work so officially because they're there they had the defense guessing and they're able to use that play action the the play fakes to get those linebackers moving and allow for voids to open up in the whether it's in zone or if it's a step on.

"But who do you want here david johnson very conflicted you'll elliott and deandre hopkins it would anybody outside of that realm in a half point pbr league outs outside of those three yes i would say oh bodell back the only other guy that would be worth it so it's do you want a wide receiver running back usually i'm running back because there are so few i'm looking at the wide receiver landscape this year and i'm like goodness gracious i there's a couple of leak guys and then i don't really like the next couple tears here's a you're fading some of them you're not feeling so excited but but that being said i think that guys like david johnson and ezekiel elliott are you know when you're at the elite of running backs you score more than the elites of wide receivers i think it'd be between those two guys and i would in a half point personally towards david johnson i would lean david johnson's well mike you're talking about zeke looking a little yeah just seem some more things of i'm not trying to get on but it was clear that zeke did not take last off season as serious as he did entering his rookie year you saw him being gassed a lot more on the field he didn't have the same physique it it looks like we may be heading that direction again so that's giving me a little bit of concerns but david johnson has the offense of concerns david johnson the reason he's the pick for me is probably got fifty more receptions than zeke's going to have.
