"Mad pick is a part of a process no argument whatsoever and pick but are we to give each other time and so i would focus on the process. So what is your sales process. What is good look like in every single stage breakdown each individual one. Where does each rep rank on those things and focus getting them good at the process. Once they're good at the whole sales process then you can take something like med. Pick layer it on top of it and then use that to as an added benchmark to the process itself. But if you don't have a sales process that's really well defined. We understand what good looks like literally broke down on my talk like to the minute of what how things should work. If you don't have that get that get people following that they'll have your biggest lift and then you can get to more advanced refinement which you know meant pick another stuff jack. I'll let you well. I'll go full sales nerd on that one. What you need to do with med pick is have your reps combine. All of their med picks together on a single sheet and extrapolate the data. So where do i. rank typically on economic buyer. Is that my weakness over a lot of deals because it's hard to like pull up multiple reports and read it so if you can measure that over time then you can absolutely find areas that they need to focus and improve on but again to david's point med picks. Its inflate deals right. It's in the funnel. What if they're prospecting needs you know if you can't measure it you can't manage it. So try. to create a way that they can measure it and the metrics. I like to use our leading indicators like activities or behaviors instead of results or other metrics that are lagging indicators. Yeah there's a phenomenal discussion to take on that. But we gotta keep this short because there's another presenter going in the thing that is kind of being touched on yet danced around at the same time as accountability and how you hold your reps accountable to but also how your reps hold dear their leaders accountable because that does work both ways. So it's going to be very interesting tonight on the way to dinner. Maybe on the way home from dinner. Maybe after dinner as i would really like to dig into that because that is something that it's accountability is a four letter word. Even though there's way more letters in it than i can count so that much. I know kim david jack thank you. This was fun and has opened up an entire can of worms for the rest of the week. So appreciate that and you all doing the great work that you do. You're welcome we're going to be back. We're going to keep doing this. "Things where the original was had something cool about it but also had some glaring flaw that can be addressed in the remake and oftentimes when they remake things. That are just wonderful. It's not my favorite thing. So you know not to pat myself on the back. I didn't write or direct five hundred days of summer. But i think they did a wonderful job with that movie. I dunno sure. I mean i'm happy to i wouldn't discourage anyone of course but it wouldn't be to me. It doesn't fit the bill of of the the ideal candidate for a remake. Do wanna touch on one other development thing before we wrap up but There was a time a few years ago where were attached to adapt sandman The beloved neil gaiman property and things didn't work out for anything. What was reported was creative differences for whatever that means but now that the project is at net flicks. i mean. it's been thirty years of a journey to get that adapted for the screen whether it was for tv or film. But have you had any conversations with with neil or or any anyone. Who's attached the netflix series or like. Where do you stand on on the property. These i came to think. Oh it's good. They're doing it as a series. I think that's right. And and i'm glad that neil is involved and i think that'll be great and that that is the way that that that material should be adapted. I mean look. I thought that the script that that we were working on it was david jack. Thorne really great. Writers neal was an executive producer on it. Neal was giving input on the scripts. Neil actually gave us some incredibly positive input. I think there was something cool about it. But it was more of a departure from the original material by just by necessity. If you're going to adapt such a long serial comic book into feature film. It's it's gonna take more liberties and so adapting it now as a series. Sounds right to me you. You could be more faithful to the original books. And i think that's probably good so yeah. I'm i'm eager to see what they do has has your mind kind of trains yourself now to think of things more in terms of television storytelling like you know you talk about. Maybe the reasons why that couldn't have been made at the time was because just. No one was thinking of something like sandman as as tv series. It just wasn't the way people's brains were working have you. Have you gotten your brain into a place where maybe the stories that you'd like to tell orange climbed to tell maybe are more. Tv stories these days. Yeah i mean again. It depends on what you mean by. Tv right because again back in the nineties that those kinds of stories you would think of them as. Oh that's a sundance movie. And nowadays you think of it as oh that's a premium streaming series. So my mind is always kind of worked like that. And i find it's part of what i'm really excited about with mr carmen. Is i find that. Oftentimes when i have ideas. Yeah they do seem to fit into into that because my ideas aren't necessarily built on you know i could. We could take this very lucrative ip and and blow it up into a movie. 'cause i mean let's face it like most of most of what comes out in movie theaters nowadays. It's it's big. Ip adapted into a feature film. And my mind doesn't do that so much. It's not to say that it couldn't be against doing that. In some point could be really fun and there. there are certain. Probably certain things where i'd be like. Oh that would be cool to adapt to to a movie but But yeah most of where my mind goes are in more character driven stories and that does seem to be more. And more the purview of of these series. And and it makes senses to if when you going to when you're gonna wanna watch a more. Potentially i guess you could say subtle or character driven story. It makes sense that you'd want to you know curl up on your couch at the end of the day and watch one of those and if you want to go spend a bunch of money to park your car and go into a movie theater you might want something a bit bigger and and spectacular and i appreciate that in So i i don't mind the the evolution of it and i'm like i said i think the big win is that kind of more character. Driven storytelling is finding an audience. That so much bigger than it ever was back when it was more like a sundance film festival. Kind of style. Love that so much and do end these interviews with the same question. What have you been watching and enjoying will the two shows that have inspired me the most lately and i could say shows but honestly these they inspire me as much as any movie to like. I just really loved flag and atlanta both of those to me resonated as strong as as any movie i've seen in in recent times and just feel so rich and nuanced and funny and heartbreaking and beautiful and cinematics funding. Use the word cinematic because their tv shows. But yeah i. I love both of those so i know those are maybe kind of obvious. I'm not. I'm not turning anybody onto anything new..

In the country, in fact in the world and Hunter is going to talk to us about holiday drinks and how to organize a virtual holiday cocktail party. That seems like that'd be a little tough hunter because you gotta have the drinks. Yeah, That's right. I mean, it's called the holiday spirit for a reason, right? So I think that's really important. And as we're going out, you know you see some consistent things and bars and restaurants this time the year different Follower winner flavors on their cocktail menus or things that make people to a nostalgic and since going out and parties, they're pretty limited this this year. What should I do to make a nice fancy holiday drink with some maker's mark or any whiskey? Yeah, There's some different things you can do. I mean, hot toddies. They're really popular option. You can do spiked cider, even eggnog, And then there's you know, different stuff that's a little bit more of an card and experimental you can play around with, like coconut and Coke, Ito flavors or in spite top chocolate. Oh, I like that. Coke. Ito. What is that? It's I'll let him tell you, but it's so good. So Okita is kind of like the I guess. Islander, you know, uh, Puerto Rican version of eggnog where used coconut and usually rum, but you could experiment with different different spirits as well. What's the most popular holiday cocktail at this time of the year? Um, you know, I would say things like the traditional stuff like eggnog. Hot toddies outsider you'll see Now, as far as gifts for people that and a lot of my friends love cocktails. Are there any gifts that you can get? You know that theme cocktail drinks that would be a good gift for the holiday. You know, this is kind of the best time of year. I think, t go out looking for spirits. You'll see all these different gifts at the different companies put out with either you know, cups or little mixers or, you know different kind of bonus items that come along with those Um, that was those bottles Hunter. We actually we got Aaron, one of those for Christmas this year, but I wanted to ask you how to make a peppermint maybe a quick cocktail if you want to throw something together really quick. Yes, he didn't like maybe a little like crimson ments and cream and then sprinkled some, uh, you know, Candy King and on top along with, you know, whatever your favorite spirit is, I think would be a really cool thing. And that just whatever your favorite spirit is. Well, anyway, This is a little help here from 100 Bryant, who is the expert here of Burns, bartender. And, uh, tell David Laxer we said Howdy and Merry Christmas. Thank you so much. America's 50 good, All right, And it's 14 minutes after eight. So I will get my burns fakes. I've never been there so that place is incredible. It started with Bern Laxer, David's dad. And, uh, started downtown. I mean, he had a little place downtown, and then he was able to get that place and I've forgotten what the building was. But he was able to move into there. And I love that area. Tomo went from there s O course it's hot area, And then he put the upstairs in there. I remember he had me come over when he's gonna put the upstairs. I just want to go to the desert room. It looks like the most magical place and the wine cellar. I'm sure the food's good, but I just want to spend time in the desert room and just soak it all in your going, Natalie. At some point, we are supposed to go get a tour there one area there, and they've got their famous for their wines. Who's picking up the bill? Tommy? Chuck, I'm Tommy gonna hide in the wine cellar. When that happens, don't do that. Where's Natalie? The bills here. I'll check. The white stuff is hanging out in one second. I love it there really confident. About that. He did say he wanted to wait till Cove. It was done because he wanted us to get the full tour in the full experience because we hadn't been there is true. It's good stalling tactic. "This is the Larry O'Connor shell. You know again, I do appreciate and I thank again Factor. David Jack Superintendent Factor County public schools for joining us, But I just want to summarize We're things stand here is to why they had to go. 100% remote learning more students than they expected, ended up wanting to do remote learning about 33% of them and they couldn't their plan was to do exclusive teachers just for the remote classrooms. In addition to teachers to do the person classrooms for the students who decided to show up in person and they didn't have enough teachers to go around because of you know how many were going to be remote. So I said, Well, why not just Do your teachers in the classroom with live students And for those students in that classroom who choose not to show up and do it from home, you know, have that teacher turn on their laptop at the front of the classroom, and they'll be able to send a video stream of the classroom to the kids who aren't there, and the response was well because Not everyone has WiFi. Not everyone has broadband, and we would have to go through extraordinary lengths to get them the types of hardware and infrastructure so they could connect remotely. However, there now 100% remote, so they still have to do that, anyway. And that's where we kept talking past each other, and I still don't understand it to me. It's very simple. Teachers show up for work Students show up to class Those students who don't show up to class, they said that their kitchen table turn on their laptop and they can see they're very same teacher. That's their live in the classroom on a camera on the laptop. Now, why can't they do that? And and if and and I'll tell you this, and then I'll take your responses if they're 100% primary single focus was making sure that the students had the best classroom. Experience. And the best education experience is if that was their only goal. They would do it. But that is not their only go. There is more to this, and it involves the labor unions. It involves labor. It involves employees. It involves all of those extraneous issues that go well beyond just providing the best classroom experience for your child, because if that was their only goal, they'd get it done because guess what private schools have been able to do it. New York for God's sake, is able to do it. Karen in Faqir County Online to go ahead, Karen, you are on Hi. I want to say that I want my son in school. How do you think that issue you weeks ago that we heard that and we're on Ly getting official decision now? Well, I don't know why he's saying that accept it. Then it becomes about politics and not about carrying for the kids. And he wants it to sound like he's carrying for the kids. Thank you, Karen. I'm sorry. I'm sorry that your kid can get a regular class experience. But I know that you will be a good mom and make the best of it. Thank you for calling him. Steven Warren's in line nine.
