"Any of the movies had so far. What king well. There's two to us alone. Which i didn't know i didn't because of a lot of stuff before this so but then as soon as i saw that i was like oh makes sense because he really is the moment when he was like mike that sly stallone. And i'm mad. I'm mike around for a couple of times that's right. He's like moving movie. Zoos who's saying he deceased group. And that's hilarious. Yeah yeah again. Well so this is what i'm saying. This is this way to me. This this is just like there with you. Know what what. What what. James gunn guardians a bunch of care about and you make them. You make you care about them. You know you actually carry like qadam. It actually care. This motherfuckers lived timid. You made me actually okay. Cool you know the fight scenes. Well sommelier yes but do right but you know the fight scenes better the fact that you can see most of this fucking bomb unlike the first suicide squad or you know you could see henry. Other dc movie could see. Should run for the feisty and for terrible right. It started raining. I got so angry. Reflectively dart missile. That's my thing again. It rained the first film right and it was so dark. Couldn't see shit it's like he may eat purposely. Did things that david eyres tried to do his film that didn't work. He says all you had to do was just turn. The contrast a little been turned to color in turn like actually talk to you about the dc universe has to be darker blues scale In this movie that i. I mean literally polka dots. I mean come on like it's it's the story on him. No reactor no no. He has been elijah and so he has these little white dots augurs body.

"Five. I'll say new york rangers again. It's really hard getting into the playoffs. Yes near grainger's getting into the playoffs as the fifth seed in the metropolitan fourth. I'm going to put carolina drama far. yes the islanders. I'm going to put third 'cause they're not a good regular season teams so i don't think they're going to get i in the division. Then i'll put Philadelphia and put washington winning the winning the division in the metropolitan. So anything about my about my My thoughts on that. I don't see how carolina drops the far like when you get carolina. They good but like that's not like the key player i think of when i think of carolina. Here's my problem. So here's my problem with sarah. Can you hear me yeah. My computer decided logoff on me for a second anyways. Here's my thought with carolina so carolina all three goaltenders. They had gone devout nadeau. Kovic got traded off to detroit. Rhymer signed some. I think san jose and then meraz signed in toronto. So they're solut- that doesn't make any sense to me. Why would you get rid of all three goaltenders at least keep one because it doesn't make sense doesn't mean they're instituted but there's too many questions with the goaltenders they brought in so who are the two goaltenders they brought in utah frederik anderson toronto maple leafs he has. He's he's suffered a couple of times mostly in the playoffs. Which is what. Carolina needs because they need to get past the second round and continued the playoffs ass and keep pushing because there are stanley cup contender and he gets hurt a lot. Okay all right. Well that's great. So what's who's the other who the other person that they got on searancke again a gray goaltender he gets hurt. So who who's who's their third. I don't even know who the third person is now. I can almost see both of those guys getting hurt through the season and both of them. You know. Not being on the roster. 'cause they're both injured and then they're having to bring in david eyres like third gender. They signed david david something like that. I can imagine the worst case scenario happening for for the carolina hurricanes and that's why have them lower because they have too many questions. They lost Dougie hamilton they traded off. Jake bean um therefore regroup still looks fantastic. But there's just too many questions with their goaltending. And what's the most important position in sports goaltender ending so order back or quarterback quarterback all right. So that's just my thoughts. And that's why i have them lower like that all right. Okay well i move onto the atlantic. I'm surprised you'd think the metropolitan is stacked. Because i think the atlantic stacked honestly it's crazy to it. It's still a good division. It's not as we between the metropolitan and the atlantic and the eastern conference. The metropolitan is beyond stacked..

"About a lot of things including our view of suicide squad. The suicide squad dropped this past weekend to the box office out there in theaters everywhere plus also as well to hbo. Max oh talk about the kind of response gone our view and did it do well in the age of the pandemic right there at the box office. We'll talk about that coming up in a bit. Also gonna talk a little bit about what if because what if that series it drops this week and i made a comment couple of weeks ago that i not think this was going to be for the general fan out there. The general marvel fan. You know somebody that doesn't stay up to date on everything that this was going to be necessary. Viewing do i change my mind on that. I'll have my thoughts some revised thoughts on that coming up here in a bit manifest. A show that. Why would i be talking about since it was cancelled by nbc. Was it a show. That was middling and the ratings really didn't make a big impression with a huge audience but it made an impression with the right audience so much so that its appearance on net flicks has caused quite a stir how big of a stir and cannot lead to a possible. Four season manifest net flex. We'll talk about the demand on manifest on netflix. Coming up later in the program for another season. Okay we'll see what i did those good all right. You're listening to all right. Ladies and gentlemen thank you for tuning in. We'll catch an xm. No no not yet. there's still plenty more to go. We're also going to be talking about squish molles. that's right squish mallows. Why would we want to talk about squish malls. We'll tell you why this could be the next hop pop culture property coming up here in a bit. Plus the controversy behind jeopardy's hosts and josh. I'll ask him if he's ready to go on a disney star wars galactic. Cruiser coming up on the back into the show as well but i my friend it is the big ticket of the day and that is suicide squad the suicide squad james guns new fishing for the ip as you. And i both know we we at the time we saw the ritual suicide squad movie david eyres movie and regardless of the fact you want a new cut of it. David ayers has a lot more footage and there's an error cut regardless it was similar to what the kind of results we saw for what we saw with justice league originally. When it dropped he was bad. It was a bad movie all the way round. Just we did not have good thoughts on it but tune in five years later and the suicide squad drops to marvelous reviews. I know i'll be talking to the near future to knowing fine. And he absolutely loves it. And i will go ahead and speak to him on that when they get a chance but my friend. We're going to be dropping spoilers on suicide squad here in a bit. But i wanna get your initial thoughts of suicide squad. It was a very uncomfortable movie. It it made me feel weird watching. I don't know why. And.

"Number three eighty two however this is actually the four hundred episode ever uploaded. The seat old dumps Are many episodes odes movie commentaries This is the four hundred episode of this thing. Jeff low conjectural bonds and Going back to me. You're here figured we got to have you on wartime floor before trillions and suicide felt a good one. We have you on for typically. Now you've been out for good movies but we felt like have you on for fun one. And what a very what i think will be a very fun draft draft our own suicides. Our own team of villains can only see where this is going to go could. Just imagine the la kevin coley on for these movies were just a lot of stuff is happening. His kaleo Has really good commentary on just the Through the smorgasbord of shit happening before is and this is the movie. Oh yeah yeah there was. It was. It was dance. They will act him the last move the movie deborah space jam and i was fucking dense more enjoyable dense perceptive coli. I think we're all gonna like it. That was my guess. So we'll talk about suicide squad with tony hale. The suicide squad. Yeah that's true. It's not so we're not talking. Suicide squad actually texted coli. I said hey we're doing suicide squad and copland said oh cow rewatch it but i said wait a second. I said suicide squad. I wonder if he meant he's gonna re watch the old one. Because i didn't realize then david eyres david era just air. Yeah he was in the news this week right because he came out and said he no. I actually made a good movie before they fucked it up and who knows with. The snyder cut was more enjoyable. But i like. If i was a director i would just say that every time i made it back. What's the downside. I mean not. The first one had like random interjections of the joker but like they. They filmed a lot. More joker my remembering i right. Yeah that i just go back to the first one is like. I don't think the suicide squad did too much different. Like i just think it did it. The right way and like what i mean by that is like take. Take the classic rock. For example. Classic rock strewn without both strewn throughout both movies It was just too on the nose and the first one rather than this one. James gunn is just like. Here's a song. I like this one guys. That's right though. Lamborghini started playing in the suicide squad. Too sick enough classic rock. That was the bohemian. Rhapsody thing right. That was the end..

"What. So if that's symbolic in that like what is it who is he. What is the who is the snow in the story is he saying hates the snail or is he saying alonzo's the snail or well from the movies perspective. I don't feel like koi would-be now. One point alonzo heads have been snow before the man so okay. It's like it's not. It's yeah it's like not. Oh my god that's demon foreshadowing in a way but like it's like rogers telling it's like he's warning him and if you remember in that same out bonzo tells roy that it's bullshit doesn't mean anything which is kind I i have to go watch that scene. That's specific scene. And then kinda messed up part as well you know at garage. I hate that part. That part saddens me. Roger seemed like a really good guy but the interesting thing about this movie that i liked so much is it felt so violent but only like two people actually die in the whole movie. I i don't know how it felt so dark and violent but it worked really well. Yeah only two people died. Roger alonzo very very greedy right. He was more very greedy very greedy. It's it's antoine. fuqua and david eyres writing. Like you know like. I really wish they would collaborate again on their. Yes because david era has become like a director and some of his movies when he shoots them they look they have kind of like that greediness that training they had you know like but i wish i would love to see a collaboration between them to again then like have you ever watched end of watch. I do not. But i actually do watch yet. Why got watching movies. All you gotta library there. Yeah watch watch end of watch brother david. That's david air as well. I think that was after. I think that's his first movie. He directed after the whole training. They stuff because he was more writing but like he did suicide squad. He did end of watch. He did bright. Which is that that will smith kind of superhero fantasy movie on netflix. It's a was very very hard. Yeah there's that greediness you feel like you're in training day universe in a sense like the way the you in the marvel stuff but it's not training too obviously but you just feel like end of watch is the closest thing i feel. That's too that check it out. We should talk about that at some point to. Yes fun. Terry i hate to. I hate to cut this short. But it's for ten and i got. Yeah i gotta go to. I don't want to be late for this other thing but i wanted to. How what what are your thoughts. How do we is there a way. You wanna end this off or maybe this will be part one of two harder or what would you. What are your thinking. would air thoughts. Don't marry me either way. We could either do heart wyan part two or just act up era. It don't really matter if you want to talk more about the film than we can do to arts Yet do you have more..

"The comparison is that the joy so david air kind of took to the internet and wrote this heavy long letter. And it's titled my turn. Yeah and he talked about how he came up In south central and how he joined the military and he almost died multiple times. He got shot out all the time. He always imagined that his life would end in a cell or in the grave in all these years are bonus years of his life And that he put his whole life and heart into suicide squad. It's about a group of people Approve of bad guys who are shaded on discarded it's a theme that resonates deeply and his life and in in his films and the film that we saw in theaters is not his cut. Read that again. you know. That's the these are like word for word paraphrase is. I'm trying to us from his his His letter to everyone and from that kind of reinvigorated the spark of like released the air cut so hashtags erica You know everything in everything that has transpired in those years of experimentation and the studio taking control of these films and taking it away from the directors is terrible and the cool thing is that you saw at kathy and who directed birds of prey saying like speaker truth and reporter ray fisher and everyone. And even james gunn who was the director of the new suic- the new thus suicide squad film saying only love and admiration for you. My friend everything that you've done has only paved the way for people like me and so like there shouldn't be any confusion that david air james garner on good terms. You don't need to disparage one film or the other to support both so many things that go into the mix with these. I mean especially with these large of Productions there's so many cooks in the kitchen. There's so many ingredients. There's so many people that are just behind this. A you have no idea what went into this thing that is now unfortunately like the thing that people review or they may comment on like you. We have no idea. And and it's tough with that because a lot of reviews come into question because that's what got through the whole. Dc you into a big spirals at a lot of bad faith. Actor critics and bloggers preyed on that preyed on insecurity. And even today there are botts and people who are creating these fake accounts trying to disparage snyder fans and bombing review bombing the suicide squad on imdb saying restore the signed diverse because their spelling it. Wrong 'cause it's definitely by and these are like username see video Like all these things and also there's a bunch of people who are like four. James gunn saying like david eyres trash where it's like even james gunn has to combat and like no. That's like my friend. Yeah like don't do that So don't be shitty..

"Data. Do you might want to put this to get over here. Harlequin joker story fine. But we're talking about suicide squad so there's a lot of different characters and you have to at least like at some point. We'll there's enough people who know again. I don't think you need it. That story in there You don't have to. I don't think you need that origin. Story this is the suicide squad movie. I don't think you needed that story in there. You saw the scene with common. You already see that they're together. I understand that he wants to get her out. So all that that you know the whole thing with their meeting and him her psychiatrist it didn't really add to the suicide squad story time it could have been used on some of the other characters like say captain. Boomerang they get to know more about him so you have more people that you're carrying about neither rooting for during the story we qatada. They stopped to give her whole thing about her. Gonna sword all. that's like. Wow this late in the movie. You me origin. Now know as well as the choker though harley quinn like the more you talk about harlequin. I think the better people want to see that. Yeah i mean she's somebody they're looking to sell so of course but i think maybe even That might have been the studio pushing for them to write the joke and a little bit much too much. So maybe that's even though david eyres rightness or help to help them to write it That could have been a studio decision to say. Hey you got to put more joking so yeah so But if that's the case you know if that's the writing that is something that i think that's hard to get around like Even legit you take a lot of the stuff out. That's from studio interference in postproduction not doing maybe production at joking stuff just doesn't work man are maybe just come back on it you. You cut a lot out and editing but still that leaves other characters that don't work that well when we're gonna get to. The main one was talking about that popping and locking strip. Rated one is enchanted. And chances. that's the that's the main villain that they got to go up against and you know i've done first of all. I thought she just looked silly. What popping and locking going on song fogel. Why you saw those. I know what you want.

"Love marina these your brothers this for the next few days any questions us. Yes that is your hand. Very good rogan a dye. Well a lot of you will get your wish and people you know that it's funny because the more d suicide squad is praise still today the more seuss just just plano. Suicide squad continues against shuttle. We cannot sit up here and talk about this other movie. What i'm talking about. How bad this movie is despite making so much. Money is still. It is still object of ridicule. A lot of people. And i mean you can only hurt if you're the director of the movie. David air david air. Who by the way has had a lot of praise for james gunn and what he did with these suicide squads. So this isn't. He's not being a hater man. Not sour grapes. Not sow grapes at all. Anything he says man from the scripps Here and i got a code. We not go off and we don't just you know you don't bad mouth. Somebody like that you know. He says i'm not gonna. I'm trying not to even snitch. Boys over one brothers if you look at what he wrote. And if you know it's is true. This man has seen a lot. He's a look. I've i've been through a lot of shit. I was raised up in these streets. I was. I was out there hanging out with gangbangers. I was getting was getting brutalized by the cops i was i've i've had moments where i've just been covered in people i walked over. Brains was flat underground and catch a bus and what changed. My life was the navy and spending down a year underwater. But also hold in one of my homeboys in him dying in my arms and me covered in his blood and vomit and that changed me around which brings me today to say that. Hey annoying hearing me talk about this aarc. Is david eyres air air. You guys are talking about this. This david air cut. The haircut released the haircut for suicide squad. But you know what i said it. I ain't gonna talk too much. Because i want snitch on anybody and all i says congratulates james gunn and the suicide squad and not not talking about it anymore. what can we elaborate on from this. I mean i just want to elaborate and say this. I think david air has had a really rough life. That i did not know about until i did some research for this story and i think that i am totally rooting for that person. Who has gone through a lot of adversity all films. I think that that's not a controversial statement. But also think it shows some real class on his part to look at the person who is taking the concept that he had he feels like he wasn't given a fair chance to to give his vision and he saddled with this legacy that's bad and instead of being shitty about that he's looking at another fellow filmmaker and really trying to lift them up and i think that's great no offense to To the snyder. Fans out there. I haven't seen that same selfless grace. When when snyder was talking about his gut. I think more than anything. He's putting to bed this like fervent. Fandom that's like. Oh no. I want to see air air. Cut like he's putting it to bed himself emotionally. He wants to move on from it. So i hope that we follow intel. That's all we can do. Is the people who engage with this stuff is like respect the intentions of the artists. Even if the studio doesn't yeah. I mean david air first of all Yeah i'm i love them and then some moves. I don't like the. I never liked this whole thing of putting you know the the Imagery and everything that he's done you know and that's why i didn't like the tax collector a whole lot and it did kind of feel sort of like a do fetish is in the you know the whole thing but then again dusty says that's what he was raised in. So who am i to say that i wanted to just stay on the positive side. Of course he did. Give us training day and i think training days one the greatest films. Structurally out there. You know credit. Yeah no it is structurally. That movie is amazing man. I might have some problems with the day but those that has no bearing on his writing ability on that and and how incredible that move how tight. That movie is man. It's amazing that that the writing on that film. But you know the other thing that i will say is i know. A lot of people have made fun of him for talking about that. He wants his his his director's cut of suicide squad. And i'm one hundred percent behind a man if you saying he's going to be quiet about it than even more respect to him. Because i wouldn't shut up. I would be like you know. What if zack's nine out there and he just complained and he got he got people row adopt to to get his movie in if he if he says that they messed up his movie as much as they did because it's right here what he said about it. Let's see here. I gotta get through a lot of stuff here but it says here he says i put my life in a suicide squad. I made something. Amazing cut is intricate in an emotional journey with some bad people who are should on discarded a theme that resonates a must soul. The studio cut is not my movie. Read that again in. My cut is not the ten week director's cut. It's a fully mature edited in a. He wrote this with some whereas left out. I'm sure he meant to say film. By lee smith standing on the credibly work by john gilroy. I'm reading like you wrote. It is all stephen prices. Brilliant score with no single radio song in the whole thing that's to also says here. It asked traditional care to arc's amazing performances. Solid third act resolution a handful. The people have seen in if someone says they have seen it. They haven't so yeah. Should be clear about now. I don't have any quit. Emmy never have. And why should i and he goes on to say you know I will. I will keep mouth shut about this. Which he didn't he put all that out there but bottom is like that's the movie that he has their. If it's true that this is the film that was made. At first. I would feel man. I was completely completely feel shit on. If somebody else got a chance to make the movie that that they wanted to because it was whether you know for whatever reason was taken away from them. Zack snyder of course at tragedies life david air. They just thought like well. This doesn't look like doesn't make money in our eyes so we'll take it and do some other shit wit which as we all see came up pretty bad. So yeah man if he put his heart and soul annette. I'm one hundred percent behind him getting his director's cut on that. You know i. I would love to see that. Actually if there's any You know blood to be squeezed out of that rock. I'm sure warner brothers. We'll do it right. That's what they do. They just wanna make money. Maybe this is going to be the kind of like Publicity that he needs a lot of goodwill of people coming to bat forum. It's really interesting when you look at how people who have had films taken away from them react. We remember when josh trank just went insane on the fantastic four set apparently got star wars taking away from trash the studios like sorta created or that career suicide for a couple of years for sure. But then we see like the phil lords and chris miller who get fired off stuff and have to be really really not about it. I think airs just a class act here man and i think it you know how you react to adversity. A lot of the times is defined. And i feel really bad. This guy for the last four years has been saddled with this legacy. But i also think he's ready to put it behind him and hopefully make really interesting stuff going forward. Yeah no i. I feel man. I really feel bad for him. I know people want to say you. This guy's got money you know he'll get another chance to make another movie but man really you know. Moviemaking is a long and hard process is years of your life and and hard to work as an artist in in a in a business where they want to make money. The bigger the move is the biggest blockbuster trying to make the more that they really are not worried about your vision. And we saw that potential that case with him i do feel feel very bad for him and the situation. I mean it's just you can say what you want to say but having somebody's creativity snatched away from them in having the world's having the world see something that was not yours but yet you catch the blame for it. That's rough man. That's disheartening and i hope that i hope some day. Somehow you know that that that cut that he wanted to do. We actually see it. Because i think he deserves it. I mean this is how i feel now at one hundred percent agree and good luck to that dude. That's the thing. He's made really interesting stuff outside of draining day. He's like that end of watch movie..

"That's coming up. I so that's to a little bit of synopsis. This comes straight from warner brothers from writer director. James gunn comes the superhero action adventure. The suicide squad featuring a collection of the most degenerate delinquents in the dc lineup including this is a very long list propels blitz sports peacemaker captain boomerang rat catcher to savant king. Shark laggard javelin. And everyone's favourite anti hero harley quinn so this is a sequel to david eyres suicide squad from years ago commonly held up as the one of the worst comedy movies today. It's they've added. They've changed the director. James gunn poached from marvel for this film lillian. Should we be excited. We bother with this one. No is the short answer. I would say. I'm i would actually say the as suicide squad is possibly more coherent and enjoyable than than this film. I don't know if that's because i saw suicide squad ferret that he recently and i watched it on a dvd. When i attend the sound right down This is a very loud and oysters film Which i think the law superhero film. My soreness in cinema might have been i mean. Dc film and cinema might be man of steel which which i left with my head absolutely spinning and vowed never to watch a dc film in a cinema again. Seeing it in the super screen a world less certain Rarefied for me. It's just so loud so if if that's people's things and that's gonna get them back into a cinema and then then great but Yeah i did sort of took a while for my senses to sort of. Come back to me off after seeing this film it certainly does seem quite colorful and self consciously crazy and so on but and why do you normally land with comic movies. You generally a fan or is it jerry not your thing just so he can conceptualize what you mean when you say. Maybe isn't yeah. I love marvel. i've i've liked particularly sort of since phase. Three of the mc. I've really enjoyed the more sawtooth. Playful and interesting films. they've be making i particularly enjoy it. black widow. the week I not so much. The action scenes. That doesn't do it for me. I like the scenes where people assault sitting round tables talking acting Logan's quite good for that the in tons of dc. I liked birds of prey. That is a great film. I really enjoyed that I think the the big difference between how harley quinn is portrayed in that film and The two suicide squad films is she's just sort of allowed to be in multi-dimensional character whereas in this film in suicide squad. She's very much that to be sort of article and fetish is as there's several sequences in this film where she is literally just sort of reduced to being a beautiful woman in address who thought of like is to be seen on the screen and she thought fascist shoved in that way though. There's definitely some like kinky stuff the i would imagine. It's coming straight out of james gunn sort of fantasies. There's a scene where she breaks the man's neck with her fires and i just sold a rolled my eyes that i really didn't like this. Okay so james. Gunn very much positioned as a titan of the comic book movie. You sean her off the back of gardens galaxy one and two. I should say volume one and volume two to the to be precise coming off the bat. You know starting out in schlocky movies now. He's helming these multi dollar blockbuster projects they would. What did you make of the suicide squad. And you see the hand of james gunn in this. Yes it's a very. It's a very james gunn film. I remember when i was very young. Prob- probably about fifteen sixteen seeing. Thank you remember. That was a that was a tv channel bravo and it was a bit like a kind of proto him but then definitely in the evenings they would show quite so schlocky horror films on. I remember like my friend had cable. We didn't have cable. So we're at my friend's house and we. We happened to cross a film called tromo. Mio and juliette by the trauma studios which is which was actually by james gunn and i. I do have very vivid memories of that film because it has lots of very obscene lewd things happening in it. I remember kind of running. Romeo has a giant of killer phallus in or something like that and it seemed like in a very kind of james gunn of humor vibe to and then he yeah he did this phone call super as well which is more kind of it was his. I kind of like almost of redux of of the comic book movie when it was still kind of in its infancy and it was his. It was kind of low budget. Violent quote unquote adult taken on kind of comic book law. And yeah. They obviously thought that he had that kind of sensibility. Knowledge and for for that for that world that would make him a good fit for for taking on these kind of behemoth projects ensemble projects and you know whereas i think he's got into the galaxy film definitely have a kind of united toned-down temp back. James gunn is more this of nostalgia and hitting that kind of pg thirteen crowd with a few yuks along the way. He's kind of this. This is the first occasion where he's been able to kind of. Go bring full tromo julia and geeta to to kind of studio project and it's an is really it's almost kind of like the leftists of splatter levels are like off the chart sometimes it's all fairly kind of is done in a very kind of comic hugh You know this. There's lots of exploding heads and people being ripped apart and it's all done in very kind of like playground style and the the kind of things that you would see in a in your usual kind of a eighteen rated computer game. But yeah i mean i think the thing for me just the thing for me. This film is just cannot get five with james gunn humor. I just found it like deathly unfunny. And he's got this kind. If i may maybe something like you quit psych humor..

"Podcast. So a lot of you are here a lot of you paying attention because of the live feed that i just did on facebook. Jake has no idea what i'm talking about. Because he just got to work. I've been here for three hours staring at a white board trying to figure out the future. That is everything so first and foremost. I'm going to pull back the curtain. And before i talked to you about the fact of the dnc is now going to monitor our text messages. Dims in texas have literally left the state to avoid having to vote on something which you they're still getting paid which is crazy but also Rona ronna mcdaniel. The head of the gop is under scrutiny. In fire because of everything that we've been saying since we started running for congress but before we talk about all that stuff. I wanna pull back the veil and the curtain for you guys for a moment. I every single one of you an apology. And i'm gonna talk to you about why i'm gonna try to condense the past year into like ten minutes so all right. Everyone knows that over the past four and a half years we have become one of the top twenty five voices in the conservative movement and a lot of that was due to facebook the majority of it we have amassed four billion with a b. billion views on facebook in the past four and a half years. Okay so we're averaging around a billion views a year on facebook The common misconception for everybody is that we were making facebook money the entire time. That is actually not true. Facebook didn't start allowing people to make money until about two years ago when they went into war with youtube. So you know me and jake. We decided to leave the blaze because we felt as though we could do things better on our own Proven right by that and we love the people at the blaze but it was just. We felt like at the end of the day. We don't fit into this freaking box that everybody wants to put us in and we wanted to be able to do it our way but the thing i have to apologize to you guys about is me and jake figured out how to beat the system on facebook. We figured out that one. We got monetize status on facebook for the first time. Ever we figured out that we could clip videos and post them things that were going on in the news and it would go viral and and make a lot of money. We found out that there were key words of things that we could not say or the videos would get monetize so we figured out a way to bypass that it literally would just put like. Oh look at the puppies kennedy thing like super super soft thing so the facebook algorithm wouldn't pick it up until you guys saw the videos okay. These weren't nothing videos. These were actually real. Thanks people literally attacking men in their trucks Simply for being white kayleigh mcenany destroying the fake news media. I mean these were real videos about real stuff. But we figured out a way to beat the facebook to where facebook wouldn't pick up that it was deemed d. monetize -able or non monetize boil by their algorithms until about three days had gone by and the truth is we were making a lot of money doing it that way and then in. I think it was august time frame last august so eleven months ago. Sounds right we got hit with. They finally caught onto us and we got hit with d. monetization. It was supposed to last thirty days. It lasted about fifty days. And by that point i mean everybody was doing this. Okay so so let's call it what. It is. the only way to get the stuff out there charlie. Kirk johnson hodge twins. David eyres junior terrance williams every single conservative. You can imagine we all were talking to each other and we all realized that if we cross posted the same videos with each other that everybody made money and it got further right like a video would get ten million views as opposed to one. If we all work together. I guess just the money though because i could have been posting. Liberal stuff was the way to beat the algorithm. Exactly that's what it was about. It was a way to beat the algorithms or else they never would have seen. It was a way for you guys to hear our show right. I mean we. We did it with our clips as well in the hajj twins. I if you go back a year you'll see videos of the hajj twins on the graham alan page etc. It was a way for us all to help each other out to beat the facebook algorithms but it was also a way for us to be able to pay the bills. I mean it was. We have in police here it. It's what helped get nine. Twelve started literally. I use that money to help far nine twelve until nine twelve could stand on its own. It helped fund paying for people to work for the charity organization without having the charity. Pay for it. I mean we use that money to expand open up a lot of things but then we got d monetize for forty five days. Facebook picked up on what everybody was doing. And then they came up with this clause that it has to be original content. So now you'll now what you are seeing from people is they'll show the clip and then they'll do three minutes of commentary on it. Dan bongino do the same thing. I mean everybody did this. There's no way that you did not see it the trend everybody.

"People are going to prioritize their own slots right so it'll start to get a little ugly. I think if you don't have a staggered release throughout the week. Let's do at disney. Plus you heard it here so the suicide squad thus suicide suicide squad as opposed to suicide squad which was just released a few years ago. And it's the bad batch the batch correct over this is your definite article theme. Yeah we'll talk about that later in the show but it got me thinking about how americans speak versus everybody else in the world. Oh okay that's interesting. I can't wait for that. Yeah so the suicide squad. Lots of fun man. Lots of fun. The cast is solid. And it's amazing kasa you know. We know the guardians of the galaxy creator gun and you got rooker in here in his little spot you know. And it's it's really strange. To see this sequel slash reboot slash whatever you know and i'm a huge david eyres fan. Are you a david fan. Who's david ours. He's he directed suicide squad not to be confused with this. I'm like well got homework. I guess i got more work and of watch is my favorite cop movie of all time. Okay okay and if you even have you found like the opening scene of end of watch just watch that and you'll get the feel of what's going on. It's like pov pov. He's got a camcorder and he's a cop and he's making a movie for his night class. It's which is like a video like a video film and video class race trying to be a documentarian you know so. It's very interesting but it's an amazing take on being a cop in david eyres directed that and he also directed suicide squad so yes suicide squad. Oh man so yeah. So do you think there's a side story to margot robbie in this one may okay mugabe who margot robbie is playing harley harlequin harlequin. That sees a coke addict as her nose is always bleeding. Yeah i think she has that that that definite vibe tour you know got vibe yes. She's like a coke. Fiend every harlequin is just just a maniacal joker henchmen that just outshines joker at times you know. So it's it's interesting and the suicide squad is dc dc. It's great yeah right. That's part of that joker space. I didn't know if they were trying to crush on reser something now. I mean it's just like it's just camp cambier version of camp gore kind of thing you know exactly and to hear peacemaker talk about beach beach politics like it was just amazing. It's a great red band trailer. Why does the beach. So just the irreverent humor. Great great space red band trailer. Oh it's a red band trailer. So nsf w well unless you're work is at home. You know your works at home. Well that is true. Don't don't play it on your company's zooms. That's right that's right. Oh my god. I was playing a frame. I o intro video and it says welcome to frame. I l like everyone was talking about something else like. Oh it's such a polite program. I was like. I'm sorry i thought i wasn't like vulgar. No no yeah. Thank god. But i would never even do that i was. I was queuing up my next work thing during a work thing so it was fun. Yeah i got you. "Besides david eyres tried to make a what. What's his name. The guy screams line and transformers. Oh i forgetting. The actor's name shall above they try to david eyres the guy who drafted suicide squad in and was very fussy about rivera's Because he may made tweets saying old. Look these people think they know how to make a movie so dumb. Why critics even he went on a long rants about the critical reception behind suicide squad and a that medieval a gangster film With will smith only the future ristic fantasies. The guy is basically training day with dnd characters. Yeah also sack it's funny. He's attacking the critics on the critical of suicide squad when most people know that that movie was heavily taken away from him and was micromanaged by the studios so most of the negative reviews didn't even like affect him. Well i mean he was saying that abou- look like for example his direction on joker The little joker and some other things also the other one being. It wasn't just on suicide squad also on bright and the thing is like right after that. He makes a movie where he tries to make shallow buff. Mexican are which yeah that movie. I haven't seen i heard was horrible. That he directed words another gangster film. They had shallow buff. Come out with a latino accent are trying to sow on hispanic Your have you to act like the tour. You are no room to talk the way you write your carrots today in. That same goes for zack. What is the back right. I it's are. We saying that everything we've seen before from bvs and justly doesn't exist like we don't know and so i think that's a different thing. I'll why this is petting is a good director. It's great director. She didn't monster like she can. Definitely it now. Maybe there's a problem. 'cause i'll be honest here. I do think that she might have a problem. Shooting fight scenes because the fighting movie are terrible. But this is where not having the support that you normally get can fuck up any kind of director whether female director or a black director. Doug comport the infrastructure in place. Let him saying because what happens when you don't have if you're not good at shooting shooting Actually know what a good studio does they bring in a second director or second line director to help shoot those scenes or to help guide you or they'll give you the the fight for choreographers to come in and help you to put together those scenes. So they do look correct right. They give you the support you need. I don't know what kind of support. Wbz giving her over there. And i'm not going to be surprised if they didn't give her this war she needed right because while we've seen what they've done with female directors before right. Answer the question directly. I'm still excited for rooks spotter. Yeah me too like i to me. The output of eight and a happens under dc films. I don't hold it against you. David eyres made eight terrible suicide squad film. How Zamboni Driver Helped Carolina Hurricanes Win Big Game

"We can't begin the show without talking about the biggest story to hit hockey since what out. Foster Scott Foster. Probably the Glorious Song I don't know so. What was the last hockey story to get on the today? Show Leyla Anderson. Probably and you know what's interesting about it to me. I mentioned Scott Foster. Is that happened two years ago and one of the more interesting things the way he handled in the blackhawks handle is he got all these requests. He was asked to go on Jimmy Kimmel and the Today Show People magazine. And he turned it all down because he wanted to be about the franchise throat. Meanwhile Dave Ayers technically property of the Carolina Hurricanes Right now. We know they don't say Tom. I'm going to rename top golf. Airs Ball David Errors. Of course is the forty two year old goalie from Whitby Ontario pro previously experienced in the Allan Cup Hockey League where he played for the Norwood Vipers. For Eight Games He was the is the Zamboni Goal Zamboni driver for the Toronto Police H. L. Affiliate the Toronto Marlies He became just the third emergency goaltender in the modern era to play in the NHL when he went out and played for the Carolina Hurricanes against the Toronto Maple leafs on Saturday evening the marlies Zamboni driver playing for the enemy and You know he beat the leafs as everybody knows but are you surprised that the like the hurricanes if there was any team in the league where I was like. This is a team that could play that. Well in front of Amateur goaltender like maybe Dallas would be the number one. Maybe the islanders would be just by the systems they play but Carolina basically saying you. Don't get the PUCK ANYMORE TO THE TORONTO. Maple leafs was something. That was entirely predictable in this. In this scenario my opinion I don't think the hurricanes got enough credit for this guy getting the win one hundred even like after the Game Rod. Rod brindamour comes into the locker room. Talk about how the team played in front of that guy for that guy. Four David eyres eight. Which is an incredible thing. And you know what I was just talking about. Who Remembering when his team had a goalie. That didn't show up. She showed up late so they they had to play six on five. Like we couldn't score a goal on the empty night. Even I mean it's amazing. How the mind works how. The effort level works in that Carolina Hurricanes team. You can't say enough about. I Mean David. Eyres only had eight eight eight saves on ten shots. I mean you know you put a lot of guys in the net with a a modicum of of skill In the position and have that performance in front of them. They're going to have some success so all the credit to him for stepping in there and getting in front of pox but man that I mean Jake Gardner was just laying out out there. I mean it was unbelievable to watch imagine if Michael Hutchinson head that Michael Hutchinson now property of the Colorado Avalanche. Because of course we're going to talk about the trade deadline. But you know I think the reason why this story resonates with so many people is that in the little child and all of us. It's the dream of a fairytale at forty two years old. He's the second oldest player ever to make his. Nhl Debut. And I guess just to put a tie on this as we get into the trade deadline talk. Think BACK TO MEETING SCOTT. Foster one year after his big day where he was the accountant. Ben Saved what was it? Fourteen minutes of scoreless hockey for the Chicago Blackhawks against the then mighty would peg jets and you know he didn't do any interviews for a year and he said at one point. I called it the incident and I had to tell myself just because you take advantage of an opportunity doesn't mean you can enjoy it so I'm just glad that day there is enjoying and enduring with all of us because we all seem to be enjoying it
