"It says Jesus loved him by what telling him Dude, you're an idolater The thing you love most is all your stuff and if anyone follow me he must be willing to give up all that he has if he would be my disciple and This guy's like, oh no Like I'm not about all that Now look at the disciples reaction Verse 23. He looked around and said it was disciples. How difficult will it be for those who have wealth to inherit the kingdom of God? Now look at their reaction and the disciples were amazed at his words What? Rich people aren't going to heaven He says children how difficult it is to enter the kingdom of God now he takes off the rich How difficult it is it's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle now he goes back then for a rich person enter the kingdom of God and They were exceedingly astonished Exceedingly astonished that's a really strong language. He said and they said to him then who can be saved Right, it's like when Peter when when he saw Jesus Come into the boat after he's walking on the water and Peter just looks at him says get away from me he saw How sinful he was and how beautiful Jesus was and how holy and he like had this encounter you know all these these New new apostolic Reformation all these, you know cares maniac people run around saying they had an encounter with Jesus I saw Jesus how come their reaction is never like any of the people in Scripture How come they never fall prostrate on their face? How come they never tremble? How come it's always like a homie I Guarantee you none of those people have had an encounter with Jesus Then they might have had some encounter or something supernatural Maybe a demon But the disciples are astonished they say who could be saved Jesus looked at him and said what what is he addressing here? Who can be saved? We're talking about trusting God in the sovereignty of God and evangelism who can be saved Jesus looked at him. He said with man it what salvation is impossible But not with God For all things are possible with your hottie says Right. We have to remember that I'll tell you if you don't remember that you'll start to drive yourself crazy after you've been out Trying to what it what a proverb say capture souls When souls evangelize the loss you'll start staying up at night thinking if I would have just said this oh I should have said that oh If I would have just thought this thing then you know, it's kind of like hindsight 2020 you always think of the thing you wish or should you said like 30 seconds after the person's like all the way down the road You're talking to them. We don't need to think that way. We need to think was I faithful to what the scripture said Did I love that person? Did I love them with the truth and did I give them the truth? Right. It's not converting them. It's telling them they need to be converted and how they can be converted John 6 37 through 40 For me probably one of the most comforting Verses in the whole Bible all the Father gives me Jesus speaking will come to me Whoever comes to me. I will never cast out. I Mean how amazing is that? That's a that's a guarantee From Jesus that all the lost sheep that are out there in the world today Well, they were given to him by the Father before the foundation of the world He came and did the work of salvation in time and space by living righteously and substituting himself and rising from the grave And he said all the ones the Father has given me will come doesn't say they might come He doesn't say if you figure out the best evangelistic method or apologetic method He says he's given to me and they're gonna come and not only that Once they come I'll never cast them out Have you ever felt have you ever felt like Something on your life. So so traumatic that you felt like God cast you out You've ever cried out prayers like David like don't forsake me Lord God Well, there's the promise he won't right This is the will of him who sent me He says in the same passage, I should lose nothing of all that he has given me but raise it up on the last day He doesn't say I might lose a few but I'm doing my best to hold on to him, you know, it's getting tricky There's so many trying to run off He says I'll lose nothing of all that he's given me not one Not even one So we've got to trust God in Evangelism We've got to trust that He's the one that saves and he doesn't do it based on how well we we Proclaim it, you know one of the old evangelists. I can't remember. I think it might have been Whitfield He said now this is really humility if you think about the preaching of Whitfield But he said many men may preach better than me, but no one can preach a better gospel than me Why well, I mean, how can you say it? Well, cuz there's only one gospel You know, I mean do you guys know that anybody know the testimony of Spurgeon's? salvation, I Mean, I'll just refresh your memory really quick. I mean Spurgeon was was going to church and it was this really bad weather events No, and so he was trying to get to his church. He couldn't even get to his church so he happens upon some small Methodist Church and and the pastor Couldn't even get to the church that night. So there's a deacon that's called upon to deliver the message and he's and and and like the guy preaches from Isaiah look to me all you ends of the earth and be saved and Spurgeon said I felt like he was speaking directly to me Like directly to me, you know, and then you think about people like, you know, Adam talked about Hudson Taylor saved by a gospel tract and Through the ministry that God gave that man Thousands maybe hundreds of thousands of Chinese brought into the kingdom of God You know some poor Illic, you know, probably what what we would say by our you know You got to go to get your MDiv standards to preach the gospel nowadays some poor ill-equipped Methodist deacon Look to me all the ends of the earth and be saved and out of that is birthed. Literally Charles Spurgeon You know, I mean We just sometimes our view Adam was praying about this our view of what God's doing in the world is so small It's so small And we got to pray that he would enlarge it So I'm gonna I'm just gonna Close out with a few quotes Hopefully to hopefully to convict and encourage you and then I guess we could probably If it's alright with you pastor John if there's you know Maybe we'd have time if Adam wants come up and you come up any questions or something like that. Maybe we could do Hudson Taylor the Great Commission is not an option to be considered but a command to be obeyed How's that for a one-liner All right, here's here's JI Packer again God can make his truth triumphant to the conversion of the most seemingly hardened unbeliever You and I will never write off anyone as hopeless and beyond the reach of God if we believe in the sovereignty of his grace No one is beyond his reach man, no one No one I Mean look at the thief on the cross That guy's hanging up there and that one guy's mocking Right you talk about two types of people two types of reactions One guy's mocking Jesus and the other guy's saying don't you know man? We deserve to be up here and this guy hasn't done anything like Lord. Remember me. I Mean, do you think anybody standing in that crowd thought? that thief Would be with Jesus in paradise That day I I would almost bet my life that the Apostles didn't even think that That would have been the most audacious thought I Mean you guys ever heard a guy called Son of Sam David Berkowitz That serial killer New York City terrorized the city one summer. I think is 1978 that guy He was into a satanic worship and that the the whole reason they call him Son of Sam is because he claimed he claimed that is He well, he got into all this occult worship Satan worship and he claimed that his neighbor's dog named Sam started Pete speaking to him Audibly and telling him to go out and kill people and stuff. So David Berkowitz, he's caught he goes to prison and Not long after he'd been in prison. He was attacked and almost killed by another inmate Slice his neck up real bad. I think he had to get like dozens of stitches and he said after that somebody gave him a Bible and He wasn't really interested at that time Stuff like that. He said later one day He just became so despondent in prison from the solitariness and just the misery of you know an earthly prison You know as an aside, can you imagine the misery of God's prison? You know But he said one day he picked up that Bible and he was reading Psalm 34 and he got to verse 8 and he and it says The poor man cried out to the Lord and he delivered him from all his troubles And he started crying out to the Lord He just started he didn't know what he was saying. He didn't know what to say He started crying out to him and and I I know kind of two people removed some people that have actually Interacted with that guy he's still in prison. I think it's like Rikers Island or something New York one of these really bad Prisons, but he's like leading Bible studies in there and stuff like that every year in New York It's a law that you have to get a parole hearing if you're like a long-term or lifer like he is or whatever and he's even stopped going to his as parole hearings and his testimony is that I Don't really care if I ever get out of prison as you know from a human standpoint I don't really deserve to be released from prison So I have no no thought I had no thought that I'd be any danger to anyone on the outside God has truly done a work in my life. I've been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb His testimony is actually in a gospel tract. It's called Son of Hope And it's a really neat gospel tract, but he says he doesn't care if he ever gets out He says I feel like I could just effectually serve the Lord just as well inside these prison walls as I could outside No One's beyond the hand of God's grace.

"I have a great show for you I have former County Executive Suffolk County Steve Lee reform a New York State Assemblyman as well talking about you know what's the legal remedies that the cat the city is now pushing back against 30 counties who objected to taking these illegals in so we talk about that what power did the local counties have I also have been Berquam on at the border heading to Panama again just got back from El Salvador had some good news with a guy to the right elected in El Salvador who's helping a little bit with the United States and illegal immigration but we have a wide open border Darien gap and president Kelly you mean is it president Bukele yes yes and the but the Darien gap from Colombia to Panama is being overrun again with the open invitation to the United States and we discussed that and I got some great videos for you from X and other people like DC Drano and stuff so tune in 8 a.m. okay 8 a.m. Saturday morning right here on Real America's Voice member tomorrow night we'll be covering the president's speech out in South Dakota now we expect him to take the stage around 9 p.m. Kristi no my bill Governor Noem will speak around probably 845 850 introduced the president will care we try to carry her speech as well so should be a fun night tomorrow night we'll cover all the activities in South Dakota and of course leading up to the president former President Trump speaking around 9 p.m. Eastern 7 p.m. the time they're in South Dakota so we'll be covering all that right here online from studio 6p tomorrow night let's do some news and here with the news sponsored by our friends at seven cells seven cells calm use our code LFS XB if you shop there it'll save you 20% off whatever you put in your cart Rick Delgado what's going on all right well since you did mention President Trump I got a story about him want to hear it here it goes a Republican believe it or not is threatening Trump with legal hell that could get him kicked off the ballot it says here Damon believe it or not GOP presidential candidate John Anthony Castro threatened Donald Trump on Monday with legal hell he said in his latest bid to get the former president disqualified from the ballot in several states ahead of the 2024 election you heard that correct it's a GOP presidential candidate who no one's ever heard of maybe except for his mom Castro who has been sharply critical of the former president over his alleged role in January 6th posted a photograph showing legal filings in eight states here day and that that backed Trump during the 2020 election who's this loser again his name is John Anthony Castro the filing showing a serial killer they all have three names yeah exactly the filing showed that he's filing challenges to Trump's candidacy in Wyoming Utah Oklahoma North Carolina West Virginia Montana Kansas Idaho and how does he have standing in all those places I'll get to that of these states analysts only view North Carolina as being competitive in the 2024 election but Trump not having access to any of these ballots would complicate his path to winning the electoral college however Castro's lawsuits have failed to keep Trump from the ballot so far I wonder why he Castro who also donated to Trump's campaign after his victory in 2016 has already filed suit in Florida in hopes of disqualifying the former president and has filed lawsuits in other states including New Hampshire so interesting that this gentleman who no one's ever heard of considers himself a GOP presidential candidate but then I said you know what who is this guy right I'll bet he polls better than Christie well here here's a little little background and from what's this guy John Anthony Castro all about well he earned his bachelor's degree from Texas A &M before receiving a JD from the University of New Mexico and an LLM from Georgetown University here's where it goes crazy he was banned from participating in Georgetown University's law center job fair as a student and then later as an employer over what the university claimed deliberate misrepresentations on his resume you could say claiming to be a Republican is one of them let's see what else he first ran for office get this as a Democrat and he finished fifth out of fifth out of five I should say that means last place damn this guy is a certified multiple time loser and the exact wrong person you see what he does he runs around he changes his party affiliation because he thinks maybe this will get him elected this is the exact wrong person that should be in any elected office but that's all he's going for well listen he's he's hoping that maybe he gets a call from Reverend Al that should appear on Saturday or you know whoopee to go over to the view maybe or he's just hoping to raise his like you know do his deal because it'll be left-wing fodder for the communists on all of these left-wing talk show hosts it's like that's why Christie's always there that's why um Asa Hutchinson's always there because these guys aren't going anywhere they're losers and they're not real Republicans is this guy he's run as a Democrat before he switched parties because he knew we couldn't get elected and he still can't get elected so there you have it his name once again is John Anthony Castro out of Texas we'll see him fail you know more often than we won't do you you won't remember that name in five more minutes neither will I so exactly hey speaking of the current administration why certainly of course I'll mention this consistent signs of erosion in black and Hispanic support are showing up for President Biden turns out this story from Yahoo Yahoo News president Joe Biden is underperforming among non white voters they must be so racist against white people helping to keep pace keep the race close in a hypothetical rematch against former President Donald Trump on average Biden leads Trump by just 53 to 28 among registered non-white voters in a Times-Siena poll back which includes 1,500 night non-white respondents the results represent a market deterioration in Biden's support compared to 2020 where he had 70% of non-white voters if he's unable to revitalize his support by November 2024 it says here it will continue the decade-long trend of declining Democratic strength among voters considered to be the foundation of the party with more than a year to go until the election is plenty of time for Biden to re-energize re-energize his former supporters but don't look for it to happen as we keep seeing and I don't know if you've seen a bunch on social media more and more people from different communities they call themselves the communities are showing up and saying they've had enough of Biden his policies and how bad they are for their community David David Chalian on CNN has been having to cover some of these polls that have come out I put one we had one out this morning on live from studio6p.com it's called the not shocked poll Biden's approval at 39% David Chalian had to cover that this morning and of course this is what it sounded like you noted the 39% approval rating reason hovering down there in that range since the spring take a look at this era how that stacks up to his modern day predecessors at this stage in their presidency so Biden is sort of hanging in this area with Trump and Carter just to note both of those folks lost their re-election efforts when they were running for re-election mm-hmm you notice how he has to include Trump in his little finger they're gonna try to get rid of both of them can't just do Biden and Carter you know really the more appropriate comparison Damon if I could just add to our Rick story I have a video this weekend on breaking point by end wokeness of these black community leaders getting together to crying what's going on in Chicago and it's great that they're together but they voted for this they voted the black community in Chicago has voted for the Democrats 80% plus I'm assuming it's got to be a big number you know Trump got about 6% of women and 20% of black males in the last election presidential election and I'm sure in Chicago it's not as high and you know they voted for this every administration since Richard Daly and corrupt Chicago and now they're crying about it and why aren't they having rallies like this when three to four thousand people shot every year or their carjackings and their grand theft order was at an all-time high four or five times even New York so you know I don't know I don't have much sympathy at this point yeah it's kind of like what we open the show by saying what's going on in New York City it's it's it's you know it's like what happened to this girl in Minnesota this girl's actively calling her tweets and Facebook posts from a year ago actively calling to take apart the Minnesota Police Department then she gets carjacked and pistol-whipped today in front of her kids with a broken skull and I think a broken leg yeah and now she's on there saying oh we need more police I mean you can't make it up can't make it up amazing what else is in the news Delgado all right well this one is I think you might find this one interesting especially because you've got a teen teen kid who probably plays a little bit of the two a little bit of the you know the video games online not much gaming giant uses AI to eavesdrop on players looking for toxicity another way they're gonna try and censor you Activision last week began listening in on gamer chatter using an AI program which scans conversation for quote-unquote toxicity which means they don't like what you say they're gonna shut you down the gaming giant partner with the tech firm modulate to develop tox mod a program which searches both in-game texts and voice chats for hate speech discriminatory language sexism harassment and more as of Wednesday tox mod now eavesdrops on North American players of Call of Duty warzone Call of Duty modern warfare 2 in November the program is gonna be rolled out for Call of Duty modern warfare 3 and for players worldwide except in Asia what a surprise over 1 million gaming accounts have so far had their chats restricted by Call of Duty's anti toxicity team the company boasted on its blog post on Wednesday offenders receive a warning and then penalties if they reoffend tox mod not only listens for language check this out that may be offensive but uses AI to determine if a fence has been taken that's interesting certain words for example are seen as humorous when said by some races but considered racial slurs it's said by another so somehow AI can tell the color of your skin or your or your background simply by hearing you use certain words while the n-word is typically considered a vile slur many players who identify as black or brown have reclaimed it that says and use it positively in their communities I always hear it used positively it's wonderful if someone says the n-word and clearly offends others in the chat they'll be rated much more severely than what appears on a reclaimed usage that is incorporated naturally into the conversation between between the n-word and the b-word I mean those you got to reclaim those words and use them you know as a as an uplifting message that's why I play Gallagher at the bar right stuck in the 80s so there you have it another way that technology is being used against us AI using being used to eavesdrop on players and you know it's just gonna spread from there yeah because it's all about control yeah all right anything else in the news right now nothing that I have time to get to so remember Matt Cain we had him on the show he's a writer and I think over at Stony Brook University in New York he has a piece out today in the American Thinker called Trump's movement transcends politics and did you see Donna Brazil yeah on Little Georgie show I think it was last week right no talking about you know she's seen only if she's she's only seen a few movements in in in the political world and of course that was Reagan's Reagan the Reagan movement back in the 80s and Barack Obama you know hoping change whatever it was in 2008 when he he came in the office with two real movements and she says you know anybody who doesn't acknowledge that what we're seeing here with President Trump and the base of this party is then is the next movement is the third movement in her lifetime that she's noticed and and and better take notice of she says you know you're basically you're fooling yourself whether you like him or not you look at four indictments a mugshot and look at what's happened since then she says the the Democrats better understand that this is this is a movement and this piece from Matt Cain kind of digs into a little bit of that Trump's movement transcends politics so I'll get into a little bit of that and we'll get into the budget fight all coming up live from our 13th of the hour live from studio 6 be on a Thursday night glad you're in David's ears sitting in with us Rick Delgado's doing the news slick Rick's gonna do some more sports a couple things to get into so Matt Cain who we've had on the show before says Trump's movement transcends politics everyone's heard Donald Trump say they're not after me they're after you I'm just standing in their way it's a rallying cry for his supporters and of course it's conspiracy fuel for its critics but as is the case in many instances Trump is in fact right in fact they they've already begun coming for us which is why the Trump political movement has officially transcended politics America's fiercest enemy is now those within its own government using Trump's persecutions as a vehicle to covertly violate individual freedoms the damage they are causing is undeniable and the Trump movement represents the strongest most wide-reaching and most unified effort taking on these threats traditional issues that exist in every election are still present for sure immigration the Second Amendment the economy jobs inflation taxes and foreign affairs are absolutely pressing issues but a new set of challenges that have arisen are so crucial that if they are not addressed they will make the traditional issues somewhat of a moot point in just the last eight years numerous attacks on Trump have occurred that were previously thought of as not possible in America because they occurred so frequently society to an extent became desensitized to their absurdity removing names when analyzing these events prevents bias and helps one better objectively comprehend them and understand attacks on Trump are assaults on the decision of citizens by proxy in 2016 the Democrat nominee for president concocted a complete fabrication about her Republican opponent colluding with a foreign country to propel him to victory the sitting Democrat president and vice president were made aware that the allegations were bogus yet they did not put an end to them and in some instances they furthered them this was a direct tack on the people's right to elect the candidate they desire that attack on citizens to remove their chosen leader did not stop when the false collusion scheme failed after he prevailed to win the presidency the Democrat controlled House of Representatives sought to remove him by impeaching him for questioning potentially unethical behavior that the former Democrat vice president may have participated in with foreign countries the media were quick to debunk the damning allegations against a former VP and presume the sitting president guilty but recent revelations proved that the latter's concerns were credible and they were worth looking into just months after defeating impeachment the acquitted president was running for re-election against that former vice president a laptop containing damaging information belonging to the son of that former VP was left in a repair shop and the contents were made public however government agencies once again colluded with the incumbent president's reelection the media now self-righteously admit that they were wrong about that laptop but only because they accomplished their mission by finally subverting the people's will after failing countless times during previous years that former VP is now the president and his actions proved that these attacks on the people's choice have not stopped as his Department of Justice indicted the former president who was once again running for the presidency in total the former president has been indicted four times since leaving office with one indictment resulting in a mugshot for questioning the results of an election something Democrats have done in every single election they've lost since 2000 and were rightly never criminally charged for previously indirect assaults on the people are no longer that as prosecutors are now attempting to imitate supporters intimidate supporters and allies into submission that's what they're trying to do the former president's chief of staff and personal attorney were indicted in the Georgia case for pursuing legal constitutional election challenges it's also gone beyond publicly known figures associated with Trump as his longtime Butler was indicted in the documents case for allegedly helping Trump obstruct the investigation fittingly the mainstream media described these events as saving democracy they say in case you need any more evidence that these times are different plenty of additional damage is being carried out by those currently in power they force mass inoculation on the masses they prevented those who opposed it from making a living parallel paralleling the Bible's Revelation prophecy regarding the mark of the beast they also promote genital mutilation for minors they advocate for unlimited abortion endlessly funding a war that results in death and destruction while those at the Capitol on January 6th have had their homes raided by the FDI there's a sentence to extreme terms in prison or rot in a cell without a fair and speedy trial as guaranteed by the Sixth Amendment if all these events were made into a TV show as opposed to reality would likely be described as action-filled but completely unrealistic even those who opposed the Trump movement are becoming aware that it is the only thing capable of stopping this agenda and I think he's right about all of that by the way my crack news staff my mother just gave me a statement from Scott Pressler from a few minutes ago how important that the Democrats won the Kentucky governorship flipped the Virginia House delegates the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and Governor Murphy still is legislative control in New Jersey very few Republican wins you know and that with Mitch McConnell probably be enforcing retirement Governor Bashar on Kentucky won't you know appoint a Republican to replace him that we only have two months to get this right we need to focus on Kentucky Louisiana Mississippi New Jersey PA and VA Virginia it ties in you know to you know this Trump movement kind of translate into all these other races yeah and it ties into the budget which we're gonna talk about as well tonight but I think Matt Cain is correct and he points out that Donna Brazil on CNN shared this exact thing referring to this movement and that it that it does transcend politics and he ends by saying Steve Bannon recently said the nation's destiny destiny is now tied to Trump that couldn't be truer ironically the man who built the wall is now the only barrier capable of preventing a communistic style of government from taking control of America for ever yeah that's good stuff really something look forward to I mean when you think about it that's exactly what the Democrats are advocating for it's it's amazing to see it and I forget the name of the it's an Asian woman a Chinese woman who I saw in an interview it was on on Twitter talking about how communism works and she goes she's saying she's I'm seeing it all happen play out right here right now in the United States and she can't believe what she's seeing because it's exactly how it happened what she remembers when she was growing up how they take control and how how they go after their political enemies and how they they they basically will will go after everyone no one is safe and it's just it's just amazing but but you see the people are pushing back and you talk about the movement part I'm looking at this huge Trump or death flag that was dropped at Yankee Stadium during the national national anthem yeah give me Trump or give me death so I mean you know what what matters is the people the people have to push back on this it's it's now up to us we can't we can't rely on on anybody in Congress none of these senators very few representatives who are willing to even open their mouths we have to do it we have to you know take this proverbial bull by the horns and say no this is not gonna happen under our watch and it finally come yeah come down to it Mike Pence's speech was so condescending towards populists who support Trump a regular everyday guy it was really insulting I don't know if everyone saw that because he's a globalist he he is funded by big money big money controls him big money controls most of these people that's why they hate Trump so much you all right more to do our two coming up live from studio 6p right after this you all right hour to live from studio 6b on a Thursday night glad you're in David's gonna do some sports coming up here in just a second Aaron and Fran holding it down as always remember tomorrow night we'll be covering the president's speech out in South Dakota 9 p.m. we expect the president to a route take the stage Kristi Noem who the word is that she's gonna give an endorsement tomorrow as well she's gonna introduce the president we expect her around 845 850 or so give probably about 10 12 minutes of remarks and bring the president on right hopefully for about 9 o'clock we'll take you through the president's speech tomorrow night right up till about probably about when we close the show at 10 o'clock I would suspect to talk probably for that 9 o'clock hour so that'll be tomorrow night make sure you join us 8 p.m. right here on real America's voice we'll get to sports we'll get to news but Donald Trump got a great endorsement tonight Rick Delgado pointed this out to me might be the best endorsement that he's had so far he's gonna get Kristi knows but that's gonna be nothing compared to this one in our nation's 246 year history there has never been an individual who is a greater threat to our Republic oh my god and Donald Trump he tried to steal the last election using lies and violence to keep himself in power after the voters had rejected him he is a coward a real man wouldn't lie to his supporters he lost his election and he lost big I know it he knows it and deep down I think most Republicans know it that's a great endorsement dick dick doesn't seem like he's doing too well anytime you can get because he is the epitome of you know the the the war machine it's like everybody hates Dick Cheney I don't even think Dick Cheney likes Dick Cheney WMD dick there that's that's what we call him so it's so his buddies at Halliburton could pocket 40 billion yeah you know a million people dead sure go back to duck hunting maybe run into Dan Quayle yeah go shoot someone else in the face you fat loser get out who cares I mean who care but again here we go you know you know you know we're gonna see this video all weekend long oh yeah yeah oh look at this Dick Cheney Dick Cheney's come out hate Donna Brazil just see this Dick Cheney came out Oh CNN watch there'll be all the nine-person panels discussing this 26 seconds of Dick Cheney oh look at this would you see Dick Cheney's back he crawled out of a rock and now he's coming out against Trump he must be a good guy now now we love him I think it'll come to surprise to most people that he's still with us to be honest you know without his name on the side there you don't know who the hell that is think about how idiotic that statement is in our nation's 246 year history there's never been an individual who's a greater threat to our Republic I mean spare me the BS from these losers well you know what's funny Damon we have a great exact same phrase Democrats are using like crazy like crazy I think even Chris Christie is used well they because they all aligned together Democrats align with Dick Cheney now and Dick Cheney aligns with Chris Christie who aligns with Asa Hutchinson who aligns with Joe Biden who aligns with Chuck Schumer mm-hmm it's the Uniparty right the military-industrial complex there's your leader the the dark overlord himself Dick Cheney has thoughts on who's dangerous to the just think about that just for a second Dick Cheney has thoughts on who's dangerous for the country okay got it thanks a lot thanks a lot dick that's like that we got it that old SNL bit deep thoughts with Dick Cheney Trump is terrible hey who can we go to to tell us about a who can we go to to get an opinion on politicians that are dangerous for the Republic hey let's go to Dick Cheney yeah okay that's a good one he's like the David Berkowitz of politicians yeah oh my god give me a break give me a break all right let's do some news David's ears sitting in with us tonight it's got some things on his mind what else is going on well I did an analysis of the 26 major national polls before and after the first debate and you know Trump has led the pack by 40 or 50 points the whole time he's been leading second-place DeSantis by an average of 41 points over all those 26 polls if he just took the last 10 national polls since the debate Trump has expanded his lead by about 2% over DeSantis his decision to skip the first debate probably paid off a little for him I may skip the second Fox Business one the Trump interview on Tucker you know which had 265 million appearances on people's feeds on X definitely eclipsed the debate and but Ron the interesting numbers here this is what's going on DeSantis hasn't gained on Trump at all since the first debate since August 1st and he's been at that 14% the same goes for Vivec as much as people are touting Vivec he's averaged at 7% a support over the last 26 polls relatively unchanged since the first debate he does have some things going for him 40% of his you know donors are younger I think he really kind of messed up on the Israel thing but Nikki Haley everybody's pushing Nikki Haley oh she won the debate she won the debate she's averaged that only 4% over the last 26 polls she jumped an average only 2% from 3 to 5 percent in the poll 10 polls released after the first debate and the mainstream media is praising her and there's a poll out today CNN or yesterday saying you know Chris Christie beats Biden by two Trump only beats him by one and Nikki Haley beats Joe Biden by six points so they're propping her up and it's just there's nothing based on reality in there because she has not moved in the polls really at all and Trump is putting I mean do you find that impossible to believe that every Republican could be Biden and Trump could beat him by yes the margin I do because he's the most hated from the other side he is the one that brings out he will bring out them who may Nikki Haley may not bring out half the Democrats than any Republican in the history of the United I understand that I understand that but I'm what I'm saying is do you not agree that Trump on the ballot brings out more Democrats to vote against him to break the vote for by yeah if you have mail-in balloting but yes so I mean I don't think that's a crazy thought I mean I'm not saying it's a negative towards Trump what I'm saying is I could believe a poll that shows some other Republican somebody who's running winning beating Biden by more than right now they show Trump beating him by I don't think that's crazy because I think he brings out way more hatred on the other side of people saying I'm voting just cuz he's on the ballot then anyone some other of these people might because Haley is not gonna be the one next year to be Joe Biden I don't disagree I don't make a point on I think they're pushing a narrative and she hasn't demonstrated any moves on the Republican side in the polls you know maybe for the Democrats because she's been smacking Trump around for the last two months saying that her husband getting deployed is now in jeopardy because of Trump's handling of the classified documents which is so crazy but so I guess I'm just pointing out that nobody's really moved right since the debates and you know Trump's campaign may be in better financial shape than DeSantis at this point despite his 40 or 50 million dollars in legal fees because Trump still has the ability to go back to the average donor who only donated 30 to 60 dollars DeSantis really doesn't have that a lot of billionaires have closed their check books on the never back down pack and some other avenues so DeSantis faces challenges listen things can change in the next four months though and you know but at this point it's still Trump's to lose and everyone's piling on Trump despite this he's still polling great Chris Sununu was attacking him last week but no one in the GOP field for 2024 presidential nomination bid has cracked the code to make any significant gains on Trump yet I don't think anyone's going to and I think the only surprise that you could possibly have is something like in Iowa if you had a surprise in Iowa or in New Hampshire that would change the game but that's short of something like that I don't think anyone's gonna crack the Trump lost Ira 2016 and still won the election I think I don't think anyone's gonna crack the code and you know God oh before you go on to that I want to know what you think of that idea I don't think it's crazy I was about to go ahead is saying I agree with you he energizes people on both sides that's why you do see more people turn out and but that then again that's his strength right is getting is generating that movement within the base of the Republican Party if he's not on the ballot and it's Nikki Haley she's gonna get blown out I'm sorry to say she does not generate generate any kind of excitement this is just a poll this is like oh do you like her better or him better I like her better than this got old guy all right well that's all it is really but when it comes down to it she's not gonna move the needle she's gonna she's she's like warm milk you think Nikki Haley gets blown up by Joe Biden Kamala Harris easily I take back my whole analysis will not be the candidate next year so I think he's again she doesn't she doesn't elicit an emotion anybody beats Biden me Rob Delgado big D t-shirts 24 beats Biden anybody beats Biden recession and gases at $20 at $20 a gallon anybody beats him next year anyone I don't think she moves the name fat Lizzo moves the needle white Lizzo moves the needle I don't think you know some of those bottom feeders they don't move the needle they don't get people excited and as back to my theory on this we should just write it down we should not need to get excited we should not need to get excited we have all the motivation we should need to go into 24 smoking red-hot no matter I don't care if Donald Duck's on the ticket we don't we should not need to get excited come 24 when what's what's on the table with the Supreme Court with two new senators with two new states with everything else if you need to get excited about the personalities I don't know what to tell you well and then you're not paying attention to power politics is all personality I would almost put my house not next year that Biden will not be the candidate next year yeah they're with why do you why do you why are you there already it's not gonna happen they're gonna try to take out Trump and Biden because they know Biden it's not competent they know he can't run he's gonna be he's in a mess up in the debates I agree I don't think it's gonna happen yeah I think you're looking at Newsom and what's your scenario forget Oh scenario and how does it happen and who ends up well you still have a long time until the convention next year I think in the next four months you're gonna see a lot of play that's why the liberal networks are starting to go after Biden as well they're opening the door and they're gonna say look equal hands of justice under the law we took down Trump we took down Biden but they're not gonna take down Trump because he's gonna garner more support and I agree with you that there's hatred and and polarization but I think that things are so bad and it's not being told in this country for the average family that Trump will bring overvotes from the left to him because they realize that MAGA is common sense right I think they're gonna I think maybe just as many if not more than the other way will come to the right but not if Nikki Haley's there she's phony yeah I'm telling you you know I don't know beats by who she's running you see all these these posts across social media of different types of people that would never have voted for Trump are like I'm Trump this time this is it I've had it enough with these people you think Nikki Haley's gonna get them to change their their mind no they're gonna be like well that's not Trump I'm not vote for her every way I've covered 14 to 30 percent of people are independents and Democrats anybody who walks away again take the strip the personalities out anybody who walks away yeah is essentially we're voting for Biden you should be an independent then just leave the party because if you're walking away you're voting for Biden and you're voting for your Supreme Court and think they're the sponsors of the stadium insurance good game right now tied at seven Detroit went up early up seven zip with good old Patrick Holmes slipping and sliding he got them down a field and he hit Rashid rice with a one yard touchdown pass so we got a tie score Detroit has the ball about three and a half to go in the second quarter and craziness breaks out tonight at the u.s. open climate protester glues feet to floor interrupting u.s. open semifinal between golf and muchova this is a New York AP report the u.s. open semifinal between Coco golf and Carolina muchova was delayed by 50 minutes because of a disruption by an environmental activists in the author air stadium stands Thursday night one protester glues bare feet to the concrete floor golf was ahead 6 4 1 0 when they play was halted early in the second set security guards and later more than a half a dozen police officers went over to confront the three poets protesters who were wearing shirts that read and fossil fuels what else you know so the craziness at the u.s. open and right now let's see Coco golf is up in the second set 3 2 she took the first set so Coco golf looking good and let's see we have a couple other matches going on tonight in the ladies when we have one more match I should say and that'll be arena sabalanca and that Madison keys from the u.s. going at it tonight that'll be the latest set that's gonna be a good one try to catch that that first the first shoot on that is gonna be 930 get to a couple of quick stories while we're talking about the u.s. open u.s. open refuses to close stadium roof despite stifling temperatures and complaints from players and fans this is Warner Warner Warner Todd Houston a bright part excuse me u.s. open officials have agreed to initiate a partial closing of the dome roofs at its two stadiums but are standing by the decision not to close them entirely despite the 90 degree plus temperatures high humidity and complaints by players and fans like and they pay a lot of money for those tickets big day officials say the roofs will stay open at New York's Arthur Ashe and Louis Armstrong Stadium following the conclusion of the Helena Asta pinca and Coco golf match on Tuesday September 5th the tournament opted to partially close the roof over off their Stadium additionally following the conclusion of the first set of the Lynette para Brady Stefani match it was a two-on-two here the roof and Louis Armstrong Stadium was partially closed and well of course Patrick McEnroe he piped in as well saying that these poor guys today they look like they're gonna fall over and the Neil Medvedev said seemed to agree with during the game Wednesday he said one play is gonna die from this this extreme heat very dangerous so I don't know why they're not closing them they have air conditioning in those in there as well but you know they got to have their own you know their purists there of the u.s. open so craziness there and Portland State player has his ear ripped off during blowout loss to Oregon this is Warner Todd Houston and Breitbart as well Portland State's 74 point loss to Oregon last Saturday was bad enough but one player for Portland suffered a gruesome injury when his ear was ripped off the shocking news came from Portland coach Bruce Barnum we're fine knock on wood we had one guy get his ear ripped off born and said according to the New York Post yeah let's get his ear ripped off like it's nothing they sewed it back on and now they say he has a concussion so he's out but I think he's fine he talked to me today Barnum said the coach clarified to the player whom he has not named did not lose his entire ear but the players suffered a partial detachment somebody said they saw Mike Tyson out there playing linebacker but I don't know big day and that's a wrap in sports back to you all right slick Rick very good 22 past the hour let's do some more news I'm here with the news is Rick Delgado news brought to you by seven cells seven cells comm check them out use our code at checkouts what's going on Rick all right well we're going to the breaking news here Damon coming from just the news John Solomon's website which is leading with this one EU memo directly conflicts what a surprise with Biden's story about axing Ukraine prosecutor probing his son's businesses by the story has been that he threatened to withhold the loan from Ukraine only because prosecutor Shokin was not meeting anti-corruption standards his own State Department said otherwise though now evidence shows that the EU concluded Shokin had met benchmarks on anti-corruption reforms a week after then Vice President Joe Biden began pressuring Ukraine to fire its chief prosecutor in late 2015 by withholding a US loan guarantees the European Union reached internal consensus in a memo saying that prosecutor Victor Shokin's office in the country at large had met its goals for fighting corruption organized crime and human trafficking the newly revealed memo directly undercuts the narrative crafted by Democrats during Donald Trump's first impeachment and sustained during the 2020 presidential next election namely that Biden fired Shokin over US and European concerns that he wasn't fighting corruption aggressively enough what a surprise another lie from Joe Biden at the time Shokin was investigating the activities of energy company Burisma Holdings and that of Hunter Biden who had no experience in the energy industry but was being paid a handsome $83,333 a month by Burisma based on these commitments it says here the quote from the European Commission says the anti-corruption benchmark is deemed to have been achieved a key governing body of the EU Parliament declared in 2015 in a report that they put together regarding an assessment of Ukraine's pace for reforms the report obtained by the New York Post and just the news noted that Shokin just a few months on the job had already established a special national anti-corruption prosecutor's office to aid the newly formed FBI approved so the FBI is also involved in this in Ukraine investigative unit called the National Anti-Corruption Bureau so there you have it just a just a beginning taste of this this article coming out from John Solomon and just the news which again proves one thing Joe Biden is a grade-a number one liar that's all the guy does it's all he's ever done he lies about basically everything you know so well there you go just the news once again bringing the receipts and delivering as they seemingly do now every single night and I mentioned earlier in the show James Comer put out or he retweeted I think it was put together by Brent Bozell's Media Research Center group I'll play that if we have a little bit of time here before we get to the end of the show about everybody all these media talking heads I know there's no evidence to ties Joe there's no evidence here that really ties Joe well so we put he put together a little video about the no evidence claim and so if we have time we'll play that what else is going on in the news well the Biden administration meanwhile as a claim that they are lowering gas prices and leading us towards energy independence has decided to cancel massive oil and gas lease sale leases amid record high gas prices the Biden ministration canceled one of the most high-profile oil and gas lease sales pending the Department of Interior Wednesday as Americans face high prices record high prices at the pump according to the triple-a the DOI halted the potential to drill for oil and over 1 million acres in Alaska's Cook Inlet a long with two lease sales in the Gulf of Mexico the move comes as Biden has taken a few actions to come has taken only a few actions to combat high gas prices despite his administration's general hostility and their approach to the oil industry yeah you're good we're gonna be we're gonna be staring down the barrel of no pun intended there of five eighty six dollars six ten gasoline here soon enough and he keeps closing down these things in the in the name of saving the planet it's going to be higher than that sooner than later and if there's not demand and if there is demand around the world in China and other these places that maybe not as weak as we think that'll raise them even more live from studio 6b we're back right after this well "I hate to limit myself to only talking about everything, but at some point you have to choose, right? So we chose everything. We get to talk about whatever we want. We talk about faith, we talk about politics, we talk to different people about really anything. As you know, not so long ago, I was in Orange County in the L.A. area, hanging out with Pastor Greg Laurie, speaking at his church, and he was telling me about a friend of his. And as I heard this story about a famous New York City mafia underboss, part of the Colombo crime family, he's telling me about this guy and says, this guy became a Christian, blah, blah, blah. I said, what? What? I'm from New York. My wife's last name is Schiavone. All my friends are Italian. How is it possible that I have not heard of this? This doesn't make any sense. So I accused Greg Laurie of being nothing but a big liar. Well, it turns out I was wrong. I apologize, Greg. This is a true story. And I said, this guy, Michael Franzese, when I can get him into my studio in New York City, I want my audience to hear his story, because this story is flat out nuts. And it turns out Michael is in the studio right now. Michael, welcome to the program. Good to be here. For me, the most amazing thing about Amazing Stories is that I hadn't heard it before. Like I said, when I heard your story, I said it doesn't make any sense to me somehow, except God's sovereignty, that I would have missed your story. You have an amazing story. And when I heard about it, I said my audience has to hear your story. So where do we begin? Well, first of all, it's sometimes good that you didn't hear about me way back when, because it wouldn't have been too flattering at that time. I want to hear the unflattering stuff. Listen, you know and I know that the son of Sam, David Berkowitz, who killed people back in the 70s, whatever, he had an encounter with Jesus. And he is now serving God. And it's one of the most amazing stories. It's like your story. It's an unbelievable story. And I'm going to have him on this program. I'm going to go visit him in his prison and talk to him. These stories exist. And yet in the culture in which we live in the media, you don't hear these stories. I hadn't heard your story. And so I exist to bring these stories to the public. So let's start with who you were. I mean, let's go back 25 years, whatever. Who were you at that time? Well, for me, it started really growing up in Brooklyn and moving out to Long Island at some point. My dad, Sonny Francis, was the underboss of the Colombo family back in the 60s and very, very high profile, a major target of law enforcement, kind of like the John Gotti of his day. So I grew up in that atmosphere. So you grew up, so you're saying in the 60s, your dad was Sonny? Sonny Francis. Francis. And what does that mean, underboss? I mean, who is he? He's under the Colombo family. I mean, he was under who? He was a second in command under Joe Colombo at that time in the family, you know, one of the five New York La Cosa Nostra families. So there really are five. This wasn't just made up by Francis Ford Coppola. No, no, no. There are five in the New York area. And dad was a very powerful position at that time. And he was, for some reason, extremely high profile. I mean, law enforcement was all over him. Every agency was on him. We had, I grew up with seven or eight different agencies parked around my house. Twenty four hours a day, seven days a week surveilling my dad. He was indicted several times in the state for some very serious crimes, homicide, grand larceny, until finally in 1966, he was indicted in federal court, excuse me, for masterminding a nationwide string of bank robberies in 1966. And I mean, this was huge, Eric. I mean, Life magazine wrote the biggest story on my dad that was ever written in life. It was twenty eight pages long and it was all about a murder case that, you know, with a body that washed up on the shore in Queens. So, I mean, it was huge. And Queens has a shore. It does. I forgot. I forgot about that. I didn't see the shore too much. It does. I was born in Queens, obviously different circumstances. At what point, Michael, did you know the business your father was in? Well, I knew it early on because I couldn't help but know it. Like I said, we grew up surrounded by law enforcement and my dad always in and out of issues, but I never knew it from him. What did he tell you? You know, I respected my dad a lot. Well, in many ways, he was my idol growing up. I loved him, but he never brought what was going outside in his world into the house. I was one of seven kids. We were a family in the house. That was it. And you know what amazed me, Eric? We would walk out, agents all around. He would walk past them like they weren't even there. I mean, he did not want that in our family at all. So everything I knew about my dad was from observation, was from the newspapers, was from others, never from him. He never sat down talking about it. And you were in what part of Long Island? We moved out to Roslyn when we moved from Brooklyn. We grew up in Williamsburg, Greenpoint section. So how old were you when you moved to Long Island? Like 12 years old. You were like 12. Okay. So you know what's going on at that point. Oh, yeah. At what point did it hit you? What did your father tell you that he did? Well, you know, I knew a number of things. I mean, he was in the music business. He was associated with a company called Casablanca Records, Buddha Records. Casablanca? Remember them? As opposed to Casa Nostra? Yes. Casablanca. I don't remember them. Well, it was a big comment. It was all the bubblegum music back at the time. Actually, now that you mention it, I got it. I got it, yeah. So I used to go with him to the record studio in the Brill Building. You know, we used to go there all the time in Manhattan. I was there several times. And then he had a tailor shop, a cleaning shop in Brooklyn that, you know, he wasn't a tailor, but we had the cleaners. And then he had a couple of auto body shops on Long Island that he was partners with. So this was his business, as far as I was concerned. So he was a businessman. Yeah. And what did you think? Was there some point at which you thought he was being unfairly targeted? I mean, as his kid, that there's something going on. What did he say to you? Well, I thought he was always unfairly targeted, you know, from day one, because, like I said, he was my idol. But, you know, my dad drilled into my head. I want to be clear. He did not want this life of me. He was, I was an athlete in school. He was extremely supportive of my athletics. What did you do? I played all three sports, but baseball was really my sport. Baseball and football. But I think I excelled more in baseball.

"Then do it. If we got to know there is a place for according in the world flag, this is a band called Lucky Seven and they're playing what they call a KD in music right there. That's called one way track. I love a lyric in that to talking about shoveling coal if you go to hell. Now, from what I understand the memo, I think the memo said, Yeah, you don't have to worry about shoveling coal into the furnace is for all eternity because they're not doing call anymore. Calls out if they've gone over with Al Green, who is a demon from hell are al green? I mean Al Gore algorithm. Al Gore. The demon from hell Other It's all solar, and it's all wind energy down there. Who was the tether day made the point that if Father left was so Speaking of hell, hell bent on doing a clean energy wish there or not, but if they were Ask anybody that comes at you with this, by the way for kids or whatever talking, the sustainable development of SPS got to go with the wind and solar. Why are we not going nuclear? Nuclear energy is way safe and it just goes on and on and on and on forever. It's 100% clean. Totally. Yeah, but what do we have A meltdown? Well, never melt. I would deal with it. What is the deal with that? Why are we not doing nuclear? And do away with, uh, but I mean, that's that's the stupid, simple thing to do. But they don't want to do that. And you know why the answer is this. Who would I hear saying this? It might have been pregnant. I don't know It was somebody else listening to cruise around in the car, but they won't do it because it wouldn't destroy the economy. Let that sink in. Yeah, that's why they're doing the new green deal. Well, it's about destroying the economy. It's about destroying Western civilization. America breaking the back of capitalism. That's why they're doing it. Fact, Let's look at something here that I'm going to get into in detail on Monday would read the whole thing. But I'm sure this just piece of it here with you. Somebody named Joseph Olson. He's with some place called Hemline University, He points out. That in the in the 2000 Election year, 2000 that would be George Bush and aggregate. The map of territory Republicans, one was mostly the land owned by a taxpaying citizens. In this great country Democrat territory. Mostly encompassed the citizens living in government on tenements and living in various forms of government. Welfare tells you a lot, doesn't it? Yeah, well, we know that's true. We know that's true. The people that want free stuff I want to bring about obamacare, which we're in right now. Have you been in the medical system lately? Oh, my God. Terrifying. It's terrifying. You don't have a doctor anymore. You have a dispensing unit. But the free education free this free that and now we're watching our great American republic being, uh, shredded because of that. Talk about something really important. Where the hell is the next season of Fargo? The last one was horrible. I mean, horrible with Chris Rock was embarrassingly bad. And once I start watching these things, I can't look away. And I just I just got wrapped up in the one and now what's his name? There? Uh, David Berkowitz. Son of Sam. Did you know that there really was a son of Sam? It wasn't a dog. Yeah, it wasn't a dog. That was almost like misleading. There was a guy named Sam something or other And that, uh, came about because of a, uh David Berkowitz supposedly sent a letter. To the detective, where he was taunting the media and the police and said, some said son of Sam Well, there was a guy named Sam down the street. His father used to beat the hell out of them that lived in but like a door to down from Berkowitz, and it's really convoluted when you get into it, and then all leads into A cult that goes nationwide called The process is fascinating stuff. So if you if you're looking for something to do this weekend, get over its Netflix preserves Netflix get over and watch. The only has three parts might be more but Uh, I got through three anyway. And the son of Sam documentary. There's a lot there that you go like I didn't know that you might say. Well, why would I want to know that? Just because what else you got to do? What else you got to do? Aren't you craving information while you listen to me? This is your information. One Stop shopping writer, But, yeah, the process which is up Uh, it's a cult, a nationwide cult and the actual real life. Son of Sam drifted out to the West Coast and he was part of this whole operation. It's really bizarre when you get into the and the reason I know this. This is an opinion. This was, uh, detective turned journalist that went so deep into this. It was unbelievable. He crossed all the T s dotted all the I's so anyway on Netflix. It's the Son of Sam documentary. You're welcome. I have something to do. So I want to go back and revisit this real quick. We're doing short time on the show today. This is I've seen this before. But this really is hitting me today from bandage to spiritual faith. From spiritual faith to great courage, from courage to liberty from liberty to abundance from abundance to complacency, from complacency to apathy. Wow, that hurts. That one really hurts from apathy to dependence. Oh, that hurts, too. That really hurts from dependence back into bondage. Oh, that really hurt. Uh and that's right where we're going right now. We are headed there right now as we speak. I had something else was going to share with you because I was over there fooling around on Facebook. Oh, don't forget my Facebook page. There aren't extinct in on Facebook. Get there. Go towards the light. Uh, put a bunch of crazy, cool stuff up there. In fact, that's what I wanted to share it with you. I have the royal family and they're singing because I got high. Now this is this is astounding, if for no other reason, because they're actually doing it, there somehow morphed their mouths. It's working. I don't usually post is kind of cute stuff. No, I don't. But I couldn't resist this one and the one on the Easter Island statues. Oh, man, You know, there really are aliens. Now I never used to think about this, but this has to be aliens. There's no other way to explain it. It's absolutely off the charts. Uh, It's alternative. But music Friday and you're on the edge..

"Were concerned for their daughter mainly because they shot they thought she joined a cult but weren't aware of the abuse she had suffered. So janet said like. I've talked about earlier. That when she met cameron he routinely hurt her brainwashed. Her janice agreed to let her husband kidnap a woman to keep as a sex slave janice maintains she allowed her husband to capture and physically. Harm calling you because it meant that. She wouldn't be the brunt of his beatings right. Yeah so that's on that one and come come. Just give me nice sex. At least i'm fucking safe. Yeah for the company was a fictional organization somewhat like a cross between a crime mob slavery and big brother. Bam bam bam not the fuck in that big brother. Now that big brother but cameron us this. Congress do in threaten her and she. She testified after her escaped. Scape that he skopje that he was threatened to kill her and her family's try to get away and that's how you do this. So he would caller like the akao. She called him master. It was almost like a subordinate to the company. She couldn't talk or move unless you had permission. She was expected to conform to cameron's graphic erotic fantasies when janice eventually revealed to call that the company was not real. It was a mental breakthrough for the seven year victim. Diam son down and you leave for all that time. She still was there like she's still like understood. It wasn't like completely. She wasn't completely brainwashed. She like knew that she wants out of this. Obviously because some people. I'm sure this happens in countries with certain religious backgrounds but that people just almost a kintu being a slave in i mean. You're under the pair of a man's thumb you know so it wasn't until nine hundred three that colleen was introduced to the children and neighbors. She was allowed to get a job as a maid at a motel camera. One colleen to become his second wife. Which kind of was the turning. Point for janice janez confess that they started their first dates literally the first date. She was tortured and brainwashed and referred to as a whore over the years by cameron dirty little whore and he brain washer. And that's the thing. I grew up on a tree. Fucking people are talking about. Fuck it on the first date. This guy date history. I mean tie you to a tree. Girl trying to save on their on tender. Be fucking meeting people wherever you wanna meet them just. I'm sure we'll probably get into like the craigslist killer would be kind of fun to get into. Just because it's the modern age of internet i can. I can find a chick this way. but even. I'm pretty sure i think it was the happy face killer. I want to get into eventually. And he i think he lured people from like a website or like craigslist. A dating website. Read is not really for dating ready and a lot of a lot of badgers happens on their well. That's all you see your side of it read. It's like it's close to the dark web is you're going to get around here. I guess it's true. So after being captive for seven. Years calling stan finally felt it was safe to flee the couple's home janice helped in part after she realized you're was going to leave her for colleen dan calling after all that after all that you're fucking leaving me for this new bish. She you betcha queasy. I wonder how would have gone on. For if he if she didn't know that and he may be paid more attention to her because probably what a god forever for fuck six until one day. She ran away. I guess but janice yeah helped him part when she realized that her husband was probably leave her when call in realize the members of the company one hundred down and kill her parents if she left the young woman escapade she escaped with jancis help and encouragement get outta he co. You don't want to be part of this more mike. She wanted to in the beginning. It was like this. I like sleep in wooden boxes. Undecideds so in one thousand nine hundred four. James dropped calling stan off at a bus station. The woman who had kept her as a slave for seven years called her father and got money to buy a ticket back to her home in oregon calling all so-called cameron to tell them she escaped like she called the student and guess what a out and supposedly. He cried when she called. When i know. I'm busy day. They're gonna come no they're gonna come for me and i'm so dead. There's no way he was actually just thinking about her. Well being gone she was he was he was perfect. Shit my fucking plant and seven years is a fucking longtime longtime it is. It's a long time to be held captive so after she returned. Home and oregon. She didn't tell anyone including the police about the years of horror that she endured before she helped colleen escape janice made the young woman promise. She wouldn't go to the authorities about her terrifying ordeal because she thought her husband might reform himself through counseling and prayer. Jesus is really going to help you on this one. But he's there for you circle. Shit you think jesus you think you using you can heal someone through prayer and counseling. That's six people love that people love it. I said people love each other so much that they can very well believe that they think that would happen. You could be reformed through through counseling in prayer. You know what's funny is what you honestly lacked understand but all this you just plain as day dismiss it when this is like this is why it's so good is yes. It's doesn't matter if the prayers going to actually fix you is whether making you believe that that is true and how your behavior changes accordingly. What the thing is it's about saying like i took this horrible person. Made them believe in something that would potentially alter his mind to start behaving like a better fucking human being kind of thing honestly super awesome to have that stuff. I was just trying to make a joke but we got serious. Billy no because you're always fucking shit non and you never say i keep saying it's honestly like other than the mass seems like the sky is taken this a little further than we have lately anyway. I know christians are pretty bad with what we've done and catholics are pretty vava's what they've done and feels like they've calmed down a little bit though there's no bombing try going on here and antero like it's usually just mosques find. Yeah i know. I agree with that. I was just trying to point out that no and you are correct. I was just making a joke. But you are correct when it comes to that if someone believes in something strong enough and i believe it's more manifestation i think like you do of the universe coming back to you even if you believe in whatever god is or whatever religious thing you signed to and you enjoy is that those prayers are reaching whatever whatever higher power universe or whatever happens on this car matic universe. You're right because you could even like people like david berkowitz check out the series. It's it's a little bit attractive.

"There's an outstanding documentary on David Berkowitz and that all ties together the third episode now Subs over the speculative. But it's highly coincidental that you go. Wow. This guy's talking about this, and he lives out there near the Manson family. This guy's doing this. Then what falls out of it is a nationwide satanic worshiping group called the process, the process of which Manson was a piece of which Berkowitz was a piece. Yeah. Here. Wait. Let me let me give you some spooky music for that. Yeah, So there is evil. Little to me. There's evil out there on the evil is afoot. The line is stuck in the planet talking about the evil line and we need to stand against it. The way you can do that. The only the only thing you have at your disposal. I couldn't be more serious about this. You're not taking critical race theory out of the public school system. You're not taking it out of the church. The only thing you can do is sue it based on current existing civil rights law, because it's discriminatory. You just turned right back on him. It's 100% discrimination against white people. Just like old school Ku Klux Klan they suit for was discrimination against black people. Same thing. So you sue now I mentioned Donald Trump. I don't want to vilify Donald Trump. This isn't his fault, but his administration. Started. Ah, hedge against critical ray story. They pulled it out of Remember It was big in NASA. It was big enough. What was the other couple of US departments and a couple department stood against Trump and said, We're not pulling it out, and they tried to hide it. They said they were teaching in anyway, remember, and that was maybe in the last six months of the Trump administration when that became known That department of what was once a justice, but they were literally telling the president No. We're gonna keep critical race theory in doesn't matter what you say. And they really got heavy on the yanked it out, but it never got yanked out. And you know what else didn't get yanked out the Muslim Brotherhood in the federal government? They're backing on steroids now disappointing him. Yeah, because it's Obama two point on Obama's third term right now, you could say we're screwed. If you did, you'd be pretty Pretty right on. It would be pretty much on the on the money. We're screwed. Now. There are options for our options, but it's going to require you to get connected. We get involved. Start with you making sure kids don't get a public school education. If there are trapped in public schools, they can't get a public school indoctrination. You can't allow that to happen. We'll be right back. Yeah, you're advertising Dollar needs to go a long way. And it does with lamb Talk 1600. You can't find a more affordable economic bang for your buck. "You're ruining Mike and I were to say legendary socks. Stop it already Hate hip hop network. Yes. Hey, they said rock. Hey, they say Rock this rock who's five. We don't have the screen up Jordan. He wants Talk Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Let's talk Jordan. Michael Jordan. Yeah, he said, What's up, Jordan? No, you're you. So you told already about the food that about the Iraq around the park? Yeah. Prince Harry's out the Bill Haley and his comets alien comments. Yeah, that's right. Released in 1955. They thought he was sick. Thinking of roadblocks around so ah, Elvis Presley about the I wanted the gel gel in Jailhouse rock, and, um Yeah, Elvis kind. I mean, there's so many different not Miss Notre, but different iterations of rock. And obviously, Bill Haley came and then Elvis changed that and then you know, a few others came the beach Boys and the Beatles and outside of it, just like it's been one stepping stone on to the next, But I think as far as like, you know, if you were to put up a tent They say These are 10 poles of rock beetles. On one side, you have Zeppelin on the other, and then you know it is there's a controversial issue might say Nirvana might be on a whole nother because they totally changed. It is the way of rock was in. Thanks for the call George Appreciate it. Yeah. I mean, when Yvonne and then you have to give it out. I mean, you gotta put hip hop in there, and I don't know who you put as your forefather of hip hop run DMC. Do you do A runner do isn't a combination or they're different levels of crazy Cheesy is like your guys only to later. Just like total spectrum right there from one end of the spectrum to the cool J. There's somebody in public too late, But in fact, that would be a whole another tent because there's so many different generations in hip hop. Would say, Run DMC. As early as early forerunner. Yeah, you probably say that man. No, but I mean Kurtis blow I don't know. Doesn't get enough credit not disqualified in the hip hop genre. Good, who was the inventor of hip hop wasn't like DJ Kool something. Inventor of hip hop. Let me go! This I mean, if you really want to talk about you know the original DJ Kool Herc? Yeah. Good job does that But I mean, this could take a whole nother show that I have to do some more research speaking about that time in that genre of music has anyone watch on Netflix? The son of Sam Form part mini documentary series. Yeah. Um, Who is it about Sam? What the hell? E don't know what friend Sam is. About this guy named Larry Hop Hoppy. You are not allowed to do happy hour again until you find out whose son of Sam is about a guy named David. No, but there's a million. So God American serial killer? Yeah. And so not into the murder s O Danny Cheval washy yet, right? No, I haven't. I might save you for hours, because Yeah, thanks to me in my mind, cause I haven't lived through it in New York and son the sandal having you know David Berkowitz. Having his apartment in Yonkers, which was literally a good mile and a half from where my uncle's bus yard wasn't brought. Born in Brooklyn. Yeah, born in Brooklyn, lived in Yonkers, my family with my dad night when we When I would go to work with him on this wise potato chip route the days he would get me to go with him when I was at a school that it was like, right by there. We would drive by there all the time, like 35 Point streak that was just like on the way to a couple of stores. But the thing that they're going for No, it's not going to give away too much of the plot, but that there was a correlation that there's there's one investigative reporter Mori, Terry. Who wasn't really like even a big reporter. He was like what? The Post or the Times or The New York Daily News or anything. He was like. He wrote some articles that got into the Herald statesman, which was a newspaper in Yonkers, and he was surmising that David Berkowitz speak belonged to a cult down. There was more than one shooter that there was several shooters and some watching and he's trying to piece all this together. How is like this big cult that came but also this other? That that there was a connection to Charles Manson. Oh, yeah. No, no, I never heard that before. Yeah, I mean, first, And there was some interviews with David Berkowitz in prison with this guy that Erin on TV and you know, the call came inside and I watched it. I kept wanting to like it because E. I remember I was old enough to remember reading the newspapers about son of Sam and David Berkowitz. All the things that were going on a new people who lived around some of the areas that were some of the shootings took place. There was a conspiracy that the last shooting of Stacy Moskowitz Was filmed in a man by somebody, and it was part of a snuff film. Today. Yeah, documentary. Yeah, it's always gonna watch it. It's a four part series on Netflix and I came away from it going like something just, you know, when you watch something like, huh? That's something I didn't know about that situation or that story at that. Came away from this just gonna like Get up outta here. There's a lot, you know. Yeah, I didn't really gonna drop it again already. Did it very focused. My Yes. I am just like you happy but I don't know. I might have to watch some of the stuff was so far flung the only thing the greatest thing about the documentary The hope that the guy took away from it is like the archive footage. They got a bit of old New York and seventies and 80,000,070 look phenomenal. It looked exactly how I remember total dump. You know it, but beautiful yet a dump. So anyway, see, if I mean if he if you like that stuff, and you like to conspiracy in and you want to look in a different way of looking at the son of Sam murders, it's so does his name is David Yes. Do you know why he was called son of Sam? He was understand because there was a dog that was talking about that. Yeah, but interesting neighbor named Sam. Sam had two sons. Um Neymar car, and I won't say Michael Carr, who were part of this occult, allegedly and part of also this interwoven conspiracy of how these other people are taking. They were called Sons of Sam, too, so it's just like it's It kind of Hide in but yet didn't tie in. Yeah, So we're taking a look at not to be confused with our well known listener. Mark are no. Mark are very good guy. And no Mark Mark are that they speak of is no longer with us. As is my father. They were both tragically killed, mysteriously killed, which is leading to this whole cult thing. Single car accident. There was one. That was a murder of one suicide, and I don't want much more than, but there's the one thing it does that make that does make you believe. I'm not gonna give away their eyes that something happens at the very end that they tie into it. That gives it the final book. Bow on the whole Okay, President. Okay, Now I want to watch it Interesting. I would love to hear your feedback. We're gonna try to get ahold of brain England with lightning broadcast team give us his insight into how the lightning or taking on the Panthers, I'm not worried. Huh? "Berkowitz would of course later in that it's barks were commands to kill. Women claimed he with suicidal from it too. You know what sucked about that. When he moved to a new apartment in yonkers he was unable to get away from neighbor with a loud barking dot. So they were bugging in there to clearly. The dogs were not telling them to kill the dogs. Yeah yup it was had second department where he was neighbors to on car who will also be very important in. That is run ins in fact with car. Didn't know this part of it. But he tried to kill that dog with a molotov cocktail. What before he shot it. Yeah molotov-cocktail evidently it survived that part quarter thing. Couldn't survive david berkowitz in ultimately he was convinced he said so. He said that. Sam was the devil and he knew after those knives that he needed a new way of killing that was in his words. Uperior to knife attack. Well forty four. Caliber revolver definitely qualifies as superior. Yeah in this is true. Although a forty four revolver wasn't his only gun either. He actually had a pretty big arsenal von assault rifles pistols. Interesting all right. So where are we in current in the chronology. So far was my point too. I was down to yeah in fact. That arsenal was built up by june. Seventy six. so it'd be about a month away from the first kill that he made which was in the july seventy six july twenty july twenty nine nine thousand nine hundred seventy six forty three years ago. "Does Berkowitz tell cops about the killings about his motivation? Well, we basically is paraded through this, You know, Press scrum if you smiling, which is kind of weird, almost all the news reports. Note that he's smiling. They get him upstairs. And he says, Well, the reason I committed all these crimes is because a demon dog, my neighbor's dog had commanded me to kill and took You no drive through the streets and shoot couples. And basically, you know, in one night, the police interviewing for a half an hour than the D A's from all the other. Um, Burrows come in, and you know, he gives a full confession He gives Good evidence, you know, to prove that he was there and then you know, after one night, that's it. You know, David Berkowitz is caught and the rest is history. Then you have this guy Morrie Terry. He was a reporter and newspapers. His career sort of petered out. He was working at IBM doing writing for them, and he's following this this case, and he's the kind of guy who Gets hooked on the thing and can let it go. What about the arrest of Berkowitz doesn't sit right with Morrie, Terry. I think more in a lot of people were looking and really kind of like playing armchair detective. Um and they were looking at the newspapers and they were looking at the articles and they were looking at the sketches and they were looking at like, for example, reports of looking for a VW Hard that everybody was looking for. So you know, and Maurice from Yonkers. And David Berkowitz is arrested in Yonkers. And so he's just really starts to go in and look at it. And one of the early things he notices he notices that The this guy Sam Carr, the owner of the dog that David Berkowitz said had commanded him to kill. He sees a picture of John Karr and John Car looks incredibly like One of the sketches. And so it's little things like that big things that basically kind of send him on this. Journey if you will, a 40 year journey to basically get to the truth behind to the son of Sam case. And then there's a second brother that he That also becomes relevant as we learn in the Syriza. Did you reach out to members of this family that lived near Berkowitz and then became a car market of the car? Family? Yeah. S so before we go there. One other very interesting thing is that This is the pope. This is one of the largest manhunts in New York City history right at the NYPD does spends tens of Tens of thousands of man hours chasing down every lead and when birth, which is arrested, it says, Oh, you know, it's on the son of Sam. You know, it's a dog. They do not Interview the actual sons of Sam, who are Berkowitz, his neighbors, the guys who kind of had the same name. They do not spend one hour interviewing. These two brothers were happy to be friends of Sam Carr. Yes, right, right. They don't interview him in all and it's like, how do you not do that in the post arrest investigation. Um So basically did I ever speak with the cars? No, the brothers because they're dead. One of them died literally months after, um in my not North Dakota. In fact, the day before he died, he told a mental health professional that we interview In the series that he has information that the NYPD would probably love to know, and that he was fearing for his life and literally. The next day he dies in an apparent uh, suicide attempt. With a gunshot to the face. Right. And the other brother dies as well. And potentially other circumstances to Yeah. Mysterious car crash on the West Side Highway and the NYPD. This evidence Keeps popping up that maybe Berkowitz a story that he's the lone son of Sam. Maybe that's not all that credible, but the NYPD ignores. It seems this evidence over and over and over again. Why? Why would the end my PD be motivated to decide that this was only the work of one man. Good question, you know, And I think you've covered politics in New York City in New Jersey. I mean, you know, I think they wanted it to be over with. You know, As I said before, New York City had been through a terrible time. You know, it wasn't just an economic crisis. It was a moral crisis. And the city was really on its last legs. And finally, you know, suddenly after 13 months, this loner David Berkowitz, a 24 year old postal worker from Yonkers, You know, is arrested and he's paraded through when he's smiling for the cameras and he gets upstairs. He says. A demon dog made me do it like He was almost a savior. He was almost a scapegoat for New York City so that New York City could almost get back on it. Legs again. And so I think it was important for Mayor Abe Beame. You know for this to end, you know, there were a lot of I think it was one of the largest promotional ceremonies in the NYPD happened right after this case, so You know, it's politics. It's big city politics, I think Well, yeah, if you're just joining us, we're talking to Joshua Z Man about his new Netflix series The Sons of Sam a descent into darkness about the case of the son of Sam case that anybody who's been in New York City is familiar with, or at least thinks they're familiar with it. Um, I am interested Josh in how Maury becomes convinced that Berkowitz has these accomplices as we've been talking about, and then he gets into this idea that there's a satanic aspect. The killing, and that is somehow linked to his theory that there are are accomplices. Does some of the evidence that he presented about the satanic aspect to this seem compelling to you, and some of the evidence seemed far fetched. E would say that's a fairly good way of putting out you know the first half of Mauri's investigation, which is, you know, looking at these kind of threads and realizing that the police maybe didn't fully Examine the case. Post arrest investigation in the way that they should have been. There were others out there. All that seems very good, but I think When Maurie started come out with these allegations. The NYPD called him a crackpot. And I think sometimes you know when you get called a crackpot, you double down. And so I think, Morrie double down pretty hard. That's not to say that there weren't these kind of interesting satanic things going on. But I think at the end of the day they were using the satanic stuff is a smoke screen. You know, a validation for white people like to do bad things, you know, And if you could have a moral if you gonna have a moral, you know part of it, It's that much better. But then I think more spark spiral down the rabbit hole and got caught up in a kind of Satanic panic world. Yeah, yeah, In fact, get started. Started, sir. To see this satanic aspect everywhere when it Oh, no all different angles of this. Yeah. I mean, that's you know, I think you know, he spiraled down the rabbit hole. Um, and 40 years later, he never got back out, you know, And that's the kind of cautionary tale that I think is important for today about You know, going down a rabbit hole, You know, you know, we go down rabbit holes for four hours. Maury Terry went down a rabbit hole for 40 years. I think the title of the fourth episode is called Rabbit Hole. How did How did you make sure that you didn't fall down this thing? I mean, you're working on this. You you lived and breathed it. I'm sure for several years How do you make sure that you're not falling down the same rabbit hole that more He did. Well and by making this story, you know, in some ways, I was in some ways, you know, like making it about you not just the investigation, but Mori himself. I was Making my.

"With Bill Frost on TV. What's on the tube? A lot of stuff this week, beginning tomorrow on May the fourth of course, Star Wars, the bad batch and Disney. Plus, May the fourth be with you. Yeah, it's a new, It's a new Syriza's from the people who brought you the Clone Wars. It's animated. And it features this group of clones. The bad batch. Oh, one guy does the voice for all the characters. I think there's like, six or seven of them. Really? Yeah. It's the same guy does all the voices for it, And it's not Phil Hendrie. It's not filming on. Did they all sound the same? Well, they have to all sound like Jango Fett. Because he's the original. He's the basis for all the clones that were turned into a clone troopers, and so they all have to kind of have that, you know, Semi New Zealand kind of right, Captain Rex. You know that kind of thing, All right? All right. What else Bill? On the first Utah reality TV connection of the week season, two of the secret of skin Walker Ranch on Tuesday on the history channel. Uh, this is set down in Utah's You went to basin and you know, USO and paranormal activity and a bunch of guys walking around going. I think something's here, but nothing's ever there. And they're doing another season of it. And I'm gonna watch you like an idiot like it is the first season just opened. They find this a real skin Walker. That's that's the what we need to find right? Yeah, but mostly, so, Yeah, the mostly it's you know, the guys who work on the rancher, huh? Man, I got a real bad headache. Well, there's your proof right there. We got some really? Yeah. No, exactly. Our attorney, Mike is kind of involved in this production. So that's reason enough to support it as well. Yeah, yeah, on Wednesday if you need a new murder show in your life, a new murder documentary, you know? Netflix, the Sons of Sam, a descent into darkness. This is based on the works of a journalist Maury Terry's and following the son of Sam case forever. And he believes that he still believe this link to a satanic cult in uh, mostly the reason to tune into this because Paul Giamatti is the narrator. Oh, there you go. No, no, it was as I recall wasn't son of Sam, the guy who thought a dog Dog was telling him toe go murder people, David Berkowitz, and he shot a bunch of people that were sitting in their cars. That right? Maybe or Satan or where it was satanic dog. Just go with that split the difference, All right? And on Thursday on Paramount, Plus your second Utah reality TV connection of the week from Cradle to stage. This is directed by Dave Girl, Anu Syriza, based on the book by his mother, Virginia. About moms in the rock star Sons in the first episode is Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons and Christine Reynolds. Oh, Well, Bill me everything interesting? Yeah, I'll watch all that. I bet he loves his mom. I'll bet he does. We'll get him. So, Yeah, and also Michael Oh, Michael Shea of Saturday Night Live has a new, uh, sketch and vignette comedy show on HBO. Max called that Damn Michael check, Okay. And also for you for you. Wrestling fans out there on Vice Season three of the dark side of the ring a story tales from The history of wrestling where bad things happen behind the scenes and wrestling, apparently well, But there isn't this events McMahon production No, it is not often that very critical critical of Vince McMahon and W E actually okay. And it gets a It's a pretty interesting Syriza's to go back and look at some of the previous ones. And for the nerds or the geeks, Uh, Apple TV plus season two of mythic Quest. Ravens Banquet on Apple TV pluses from Rob McKellen any of it's always sunny in Philadelphia, about a video game company. On and they create the game Ravens banquet and it's really funny. Okay. All right. Second season and F. Murray Abraham also co stars in this. He's a He's sort of George R. R. Martin. Consultant. You get Company. Wow, That's cool. That's great. Okay, I'll check now there's a hook. There's a hook for you there. Yeah. Also on Friday, season three, the final season of 80 Bryants shrill He Bryant from Saturday night. Live. Very, very funny, serious. It's a good Syrian. Uh In case you need another superhero. Syria's in your life, Netflix on fatty Jupiter's legacy. It's a story Josh Duhamel and Leslie Dead about Generation superheroes or who now passing it on to their Children, and it looks pretty dark. This is some of the people who did King's men and kick ass. It's a Mark Miller. What's the polio? Jupiter's legacy? It zah great comic. It's been around for quite a while. He's just finishing up his final chapters on it as far as print form Ghost, but it should be interesting. All right. I'll check it out. And, of course on Saturday, uh, what we've all been talking about. Elon Musk, hosting Saturday night Live musical guests, Miley Cyrus. And I just want to watch it Burn. Is it true that they're letting some cast members out of being in sketches with him? Because they don't want to be. If you're regular Saturday Night Live watcher, you'll notice a lot of the cast members don't get in anyway, so I don't think Don't think anyone's guaranteed any screen time. So I think it's pretty easy to just kind of hang back. I feel bad for like Melissa Melissa Gillison, your who, You know, you'll always see at the end of the show waving goodbye, but I was like, Oh, was she in any sketch? No, apparently not. You know, you know. So, Yeah, So yes, it's not. I don't think it's hard on starting night live to just not participate. Really? Yeah. And finishing up on Sunday. I knew ah, another variety sketch interview kind of a hybrid of all the things that sway on Showtime. His way is a Internet personality. This is Who's but he's also got some crowd cheese have been a writer for Davis and Marrow and our cartoon president and also done voices on our cartoon president and tuning out the news. And this is ah! Show that has sketches, musical numbers, Guest stars. Everything all cram within a half an hour and it's zwei Z W anyway. Z i w e. If you go toe excellent six dot com You could check out the trailer Looks pretty interesting. Okay? Yeah, but that name is a problem. Yeah, I'm searching for it. And the thing is, it's not gonna come up. All right. That is that well. That is all the new stuff premiering this week. A lot of stuff. Since we had may. Now it's sweeps time. Thank you. Let's see Invincible. Finished on Amazon and Oh, yeah, it starts out strong gets a little slow in the middle and then ends really strong. So it Z. It's eight episodes. What? I enjoyed that Chad. Is that, huh? What is invincible again? Remind me it's Ah Superhero Show where I You know, you're the son of Superman and you find out the Superman might not be such a good guy. Great. That's all I'm gonna say, Chad. I'm five episodes in and I'm recommending it to everybody now. Yes, that simple Drawed just goes there. So she's French comedy but watchable. She's this Well. She plays this 14 year old boy named Chad. Who's a jerk, But, you know, he's like every 14 year old boy, though. Yeah. S so enjoy that. Oh, and it's not a TV show. But on Netflix, the Mitchells versus the machines. Oh, I've heard of. I read about weekend. Very good, quite animated movie. Really good voice talent, Danny McBride. Yeah, but an enjoyable story, and the pug is the star of the movie as far as I'm concerned. It's the animation. Good animations. Good. It's from the same. It's from Lord Miller. Those guys who did into the spider verse. So you know you're gonna get some funny stuff and some quality in their on its quite good. I was I was really surprised by it. It just kind of came out of nowhere for me. It's all really good. All right. We've got anything to add the whole of that frost. Mm hmm. I'm enjoying the final season of Ah van, Healthy Non sci fi. I know I'm the only one watching it. But It's a nonsensical serious,.

"It's It's a very modern. There are few historical aspects to it. Then i do tie in. But it's much it's not so an entrenched in that like the into this is much more modern day. Were you inspired in any way. Because i know a from reading at least a summary of it Spy in any way by black people who who write the puzzles and and or mystic cryptic notes and Because they're not a lot of serial killers that come to mind and do that i think zodiac in sama the only two i can think about. Maybe there's more maybe you've studied it further but these guys who the two that i'm thinking of. We inspired by that Those particular cases in the way the And the threats of in cryptic messages puzzles. There was some of that inspiration. I think the biggest difference. Though is i think when we look at a person. Like son of sam. Obviously the guy was nuts. I mean he was taking orders from the neighbor's dog. I think it was when that whole thing broke down and obviously most serial killers. Are you know they're a little crazy. Obviously mike. Serial killer is not. There's a very methodical reason why they're doing the thing that they're doing. And i wanted to be able to kind of cover. The message want to put forth through the pursuit of this killer. So i had to tie those together so but there is certainly there was some that influenced by a research serial killers and zodiac killer. Was one i did a research son of sam So there was a little bit that influence. Yeah you're i got stuck in one thousand nine hundred eighty nine to nineteen ninety two. I was a mastering engineer and my job was to listen to music all night long. I would work in the night shift in a for am records and polygram records and listening to music over and over again and basically just listening for mistakes as we made duplication masters and if there were no mistakes nothing happened so it gave me a lot of time to read so in those three years. Working fourteen hours a night. I would get books are by the library every night to get and i got hooked on. Serial killers studied the genre extensively. Did you get any psychic damaged. Anything particularly doc. Anti your life physically emotionally spiritually. From having the do that research. I think hardest part was when i was actually writing them out and i have to put myself kind of in the mind of a serial air. Were writing out these habits. They had and that was a little difficult. Because i remember after writing those scenes out that i would have nightmares or You know. I have trouble sleeping. So i don't know if it was so much. Emotional scarring as disturbing in a sense. It's a little bit. I i would probably even though i've never acted before when i hear actors talk about you. Know where they get into character in a sense. It's a little bit like that. Because i felt that if i didn't do that if i didn't try to think like that it would not come out very authentic in what i had written so i try to really dive into the character in it sometimes was a little. It's shifted me a little bit emotionally just being stressed or having trouble sleeping absolutely not to get too far off topic here but i. I don't think David berkowitz was a serial killer. I think he killed one person at of Always say murders..

"Mentally they actually did not find anything wrong with him mentally. He was diagnosed by psychiatrists and a psychiatrist says that he was pure evil. He had nothing wrong with him. Moving onto son of sam. Son of sam is david berkowitz. David berkowitz was a standup guy. Had a good job. He made money. He was alright. He lived in new york. And there were some killings in york women being shot in their cars being shot by forty four bulldog. That's a very thick bud. N people were going crazy. They were scared and they were women who would dye their hair blond because he only liked to shoot brunettes so it went on for a long time. All over new york from upstate. To south new york it went all over there. He terrorized the city. People were scared to go out. People were scared to be in their cars. It's a bit like the zodiac killer ways to kill people in their cars. So david berkowitz said that. He was influenced by satan. He was influenced. He said he was in a cult and that a dog called siam his neighbor dog. A black dog would tell him to go and kill people again now. We find out that he changed his story and it was all a lie. He actually never heard any voices. He was never sick. He had no mental illness. He made that up to scare people and he would write signals to reporters saying that he was the son of satan and he will drop these crazy schedules of satanic Symbols we also have the alphabet killer. The alphabet killer used to kill little catholic girls and raped them. If you haven't seen the movie the alphabet killer. It's with elijah do school. She's a great actress. She did a great job in the movie. You should go and watch it. You would understand more about the story. The alphabet killer was notorious scary and downright evil. "Calculated you could just hear it was a very you could see him saying Oh, well, well, those are collateral damage, and this is basically you know, doing it and in the name of for my country, and that's what happens in war was a very sort of like methodical almost as if people had There was no heart whatsoever. It was a very, very cold and calculated could see him making those decisions. And you could hear it in his voice. Um and then son of Sam, When I had interviewed David Berkowitz I actually was face to face with David Berkowitz when I did that interview, and I could see when I started asking him No, he was acting like almost like, Let's not talk about what happened. You know, in that period, you know, that was just a bad period. Let's talk about what I'm doing now. And I'm like, Well, well, where was the whole reason I'm here is because of you know, you tear up the New York City you terrorized the country, you know, with what was going on at that moment, and I said to him, you know, do you regret you know what happened and I could see him literally melting down before my eyes. I could see it as if it was yesterday. I don't want to talk about that Read. I don't want to talk about that. You know, at like a zip that was supposed to be this little period that the world was supposed to gloss over and at the time he was actually seeking parole and trying to get parole and I and I remember watching and saying that this man is certainly not ready for parole at that moment that he had still not come to terms. With what he had done, and he wanted to really compartmentalize that terrible period. That brief period that he just wanted to kind of glossed over in his mind, you know and compartmentalize it and move on with everything else and not fully acknowledge what he had done and the horror that he had brought on so many people and and he was denied. Needless to say, for parole soon after that. Did you? I've got to imagine that. I mean, did you want to jump in a decontamination chamber after being so close to somebody like that? I mean, holy smokes. Oh, it was really actually was an interesting thing to see literally before my eyes. He was literally melting down, and the guards, in fact, had said to me it was interesting Before that, they said, Oh, this guy is cool as a cucumber. He's this. He's that and I think because I was listening. And asking the right questions getting back to your point, and I could see that he was just trying to sort of discard that period and talk about other things that he wanted to talk about. And of course, I was willing to talk about other things that he wanted to talk about. But I've, of course, was going to talk about what he had done and see if he really had a toned and really understood the depth. Of his depravity and what he had done. And clearly at that moment, he did not want to go there and he just physically we started melting in. The guards were saying to May we got to take him away. We got to take him away, and he literally was taken away. And I think put into a private room for I think a few days or a few weeks, possibly even after that, because he just literally almost had a meltdown in front of me and the guards had to grab him. Because you could just see who was falling apart right in front of me. And it was just the shades.

"On There's your host, Ben Beeler Garcia. We're just having a doozy of a time so far talking with someone I truly admire. And frankly, I'm guessing reading most of America admires Rita Cosby, three time Emmy Award winning journalists radio host TV host bestselling author Rita. I sort of left a tease before the show. I'm Aziz you saw. I've got two last names to honor both sides of my heritage. The dealer side the German side. I've got six pages of show notes. I wanna be prepared. Everything's got to be on track. It's follow the script. Garcia side is more kind. Like you know, whatever. Get past like, you know, look at bustle. OK, pasa? So I find it interesting when I said before the break that People don't turn into the show to hear me. They tuned in the show to hear you and the importance of listing and how sometimes uninjured you you know, you have to be available to those doors that might crack open a little bit that take the interview in a completely different direction. But a better direction. Has that been your experience? Or should I just stick to broadcasting on my garage? No, definitely do not stick to your garage. Continue it in a big big way, Because your voice is so important and honoring these heroes that you're doing so beautifully been you absolutely have to continues. Don't you dare say in the garage, all right, but But listening is the key and I think you hit on a great point because so many times I've gone into an interview, and I'll have my notes. I'm I think I'm probably the bueller side of your family times. 10. I'm very you know, you know very precise. I always like to be super prepared. I'd love to be. I'm always over prepared, soften staying up through the night, you know, trying to get interesting details about people and different and ask the question, especially when it's Somebody who is, you know a world leader or somebody like that. Who's been asked 1000 questions. So how can you ask that question in a different way to get a different answer, But I think it's also listening. Exactly. As you said, because often people kind of go in with their preconceived notion of okay here the 10 questions I'm gonna ask. And somebody says something so amazing on the first answer of the second answer, but you're so caught up in. Okay, asking my next question You didn't think about and and I think that's where he's seasoned interviewer and and obviously you have this beautiful ability to then I can hear it is that it's important to be able to say Gosh, wait a minute, just the way that person said that word or were said that name. That means something special to them. Or they're not telling the full story. Sometimes you know when I'm interviewing politicians, Oh, wait a minute. They dodged that answer. Don't let them dodge. You know, go back to that. Listen to what they said. They kind of glossed over that. And so let's go back here or if somebody has a particular There's a sentimentality to that answer. Wait the way, they said. That answer the way they spoke about that person. There's obviously some personal connection here. Let me hit. Go back to that. And then you often get the most amazing answer the most insightful or the most news, making some of the things that I think about that I have done through the years or where I'd interviewed people and I've gotten, you know, headlines that have made, you know been around the world. Have been because I listened and let that person talk. And then they said something, and I said, Well, what did you mean by that? Wait a minute. I heard how you kind of got choked up when you said that Was there something that happened or did something happen? And if that with that behind the scenes with that world leader That you know, you kind of didn't answer it fully. What really happened there? Really? Wow. Moment. You know, I've got an ass, so it's amazing what I've learned on the job over eight years. You know, in a studio with professional grade headphones, it's amazing what you can discern and you touch that what you can hear coming over the wire, but and looking at your just pantheon of people that you've interviewed over the years. You've talked to two men that I consider just the absolute epitome of evil Slobodon Milosevic and David Berkowitz, the son of Sam, Could you just out of curiosity? Could you feel that vibe coming over? Coming over the air. Oh, absolutely. And in the case of like Milosevic, I asked him and I'll never forget this moment. There's you know, this was years ago, and he called in to me. Um, I have been waiting to do the interview for a long time. And then finally he called and he was actually in The Hague. Imagine this is in his prison cell. He he left his prison cell. To call me from a phone. I think down the hall and he actually got his phone privileges revoked after the words because he wasn't supposed to be able to sneak down the hall and make a phone call. But I'm glad he did make the call to me, at least and I asked him Why did you authorize these atrocities? These horrible atrocities, the ethnic cleansing and all those horrible things that were going on as we know that were taking place in that part of the world at the time, and his answer was it was a very cold answer on he said. You know, I'm sorry, basically for the civilians. Um, but, you know, I make no excuse for the military ones that I was defending my country and that I was. It was a very sort of calculated you could just hear it was a very you could see him saying Oh, well, well, those are collateral damage, and this is basically you know, doing it and in the name of for my country,.
