"You bring out the chipper city belts. That's what you do right. You get out of the car. You passed out the name move. Hey look if if that works for me in my lifetime if it works for me because of that part three times that's three times more than a parking spot. It's worth it. Something bobby kind of ali here on the rich eisen show all right. So you're now you're now so just one more second on this visual. I can't get enough so you're now parked. Are you parked in this space right now. In the space kind of wish i could show you because the one of the funny things about it was that the guy was like well. You ain't gonna fit in here anyway and then that's all. I need to hear all live. Because i was like i'm not gonna in there. I'm not gonna have this car. Talk right anything i could pull any and it's very tight but i mean because right now if you are sitting in the car you might have to give the look to somebody else saying i'm not moving. You might have to give the finger wave like that's how do it right or do you do the full hand. You shape ahead. What do you do when i do. Contact single contact won't even contacts. I'm busy here. Single wave bobby. Kind of all year on the rich eisen. Show the visual. You need the visual well. Here's what i want. Here's what i want. When we're done i want a shot at the front and the back what we like two and a half inches and the bumpers. How how how. What do you got to cut benches. I'm gonna text it to you know that you right after we're done and then you've got my permission to show the show bobby. This must be an aces parallel. Parking job if he is ready to be ready. Oh if he's doing it twice a week. Obviously yeah proud of it. Yeah okay fantastic. Notch parallel parking kind of allah. Here on the rich eisen show. How about those yanks bobby How about this team out of chris. This is a good time to win to start winning. Good that they've they've do they were doing. They're doing it but let's not talk too much about it. Oh i know. But i mean the fact that they're in i don't know man. Here's here's the reason why. I'll talk about it because in in the first half of the season like i don't know if you saw last night's game or not but i'm i'm watching every pretty much. Every pitch these days last night they put a four spot on the red sox to help them essentially when it and in inning they got They got a two out. Basit to run out basit. They gotta sacked fly of from third stolen base. These are things that just didn't exist. In the first half of the season they did not exist. They're they're alive. They went from the most boring team to the most exciting team in one month. I really haven't seen something like this. It's unbelievable at the fair. Like guys that are supposed to be hitting a finally hitting guys that like. It wasn't making sense that they weren't hitting like dj like even look boy like back already for a while. Let's go keep putting it together. You know those guys are Are finally getting right. So they are and i know i'm sure you know a bunch of cubs fans the fact that the yankees plucked result from them and he's been so frigging phenomenal and he looks the part. He looks like he should be yankee the rest of his life. He looks like he's added that he looks like he's added that o'neill mode you know like he should never leave the bronx again. It's killing all the cubs fans killing them killing him. That is right now. i know. I know they're. They are awful they can't they can't they. Can't not mention it right. it's great. I mean we have a guy who was a diehard you know from southside chicago and he just rizzo things really That solemn avoid the boy. I love it so where are you. Did you hear about the jets today. Bobby did you hear about. I know you might be a busy man but the walk at the first game. No no this game. No we've not lost yet. Carl lawson who they picked up from the bengals who's been killing it defensively eased with with an apparent achilles injury. It looks very bad. That guy out it looks like all right but at least you got the parking spot right. I got the puck and spine. At least you know at least a looks like he's been hitting the gym does he does like. He's been pumping kosslick guys. How about these fans. That are like i don't know like that's all. I liked him because he looks like the rock. And everybody loves the alex you say he's like aspirational. You know like we kinda wanna look like him a little bit. He's you know. He's not after the parade of coaches we've had beforehand. You know he kind of wins. He's like the hottest one. I'm just wondering if the jets have he might be the first health nut. They've had it Coaching since maybe like harm you know. He looks like he's like a guy who's into making sure he's okay. You know like rex never was that he wanted a snack. All right now case look like he needed some help. Where are you on your fantasy. Where are you on your fantasy right now. Bobby kinda volley ball draft right now and our draft regular addresses coming up but on jolo joey stacks joel truly of you've got us on the best ball third year in a row. He's wanted to first two years and we know we're just giving them my money. We think it's a fixed but you know gambling is bad but it's hard not to so what does he do. Come out joyner bucks throw it in and you do you just do it and But that's kind of fun although there's nothing to do except just draft and then you just leave the team alone bright okay so and so and then at the end you're enough to set your roster you just pick a bunch of guys and let it roll so wednesday wednesday. When's the draft the actual fantasy draft. And i assume you have not changed your fantasy team named correct. I'm just the tip.

It was weird like when while for us to figure out what was happening. And then i remember the knicks will bring the ball down and then they stopped. I don't remember who had the ball. But he just stopped and the whole team teams on the court. Placed off stopped to look at see what was going on. I think everybody realized at the same time that it was oak. And then and then it was And then it was just the audience that the crowd was every shot like escalated. Oh oh oh. It's like being a wrestling. Match was compiled carry them out in place. "What i think i think on that front you moved on. She's moved you. Don't wanna saturate it too much. I think it was a great dropping. The buckets could run and goodly was awesome. At that point. I don't wanna saturated and just start diluting. How awesome that moment. I don't blame you david. That's a good approach for it. Right there What am i asked. this in. Fun insists seriousness as well. The bucks winning at all and you literally having such a front row seat slamming beers and everything like that. Is there a sense that you know 'cause you you've seen it. You've seen it in boston. How one team wins in the other teams. That can can be somewhat contagious. Did you sense. Did you get some sort of sense. Any sort of inspiration watching janas do what he did. Fifty fifty piece in game six and middleton coming on strong and you know obviously the new pieces in jrue holiday. Doing what he did. I'm wondering if there is any connective tissue at all on something like this. David i hope so It was absolutely amazing. Absolutely electric being in that environment I think you see the brewers right. Now they're playing hot We have a standard here up in green bay and again we need to get over that last hump and every year is the same goal for us Up here especially with them and we have in the locker room but Yeah i mean we've had a couple of team meetings where the has been a little bit of a sentiment and showing a couple of videos and talking about their success and. Yana gave some great speeches. That can really we could really use you. Know for for the entire team to hear So i think there is some connected tissue in like Energy that you can pull from that and it would be awesome to have multiple professional teams in the wisconsin to win it. I mean there's a lot of pride here And it would be awesome. I mean for me personally. I i've done Going nine season now. I think i've i think at this point deserved ring. Now i know you do. I would agree with you. What which jonah speeches referring to give me one. What tom when he was talking about Being in the present and Talking about your ego and the past and you know when you're in the future There was Really get seminar. And i'm paraphrasing. But there's really good sentiment about how he approaches the mental part of the game about being in the present and the way he articulated it. I think it really spoke to a lot of athletes and non athletes as well But i really resonate with that. And and i i really appreciate it his message because that is really true. You know In order to get better at you you can't you know preparing or thinking in the past isn't going to help you and also in the future. You gotta do it right now and you see people when they procrastinate like all due tomorrow this study on so if you wanna get better take the first step and then be in the moment in the now i think that mindset that That approach i think is huge. Speaks a lot to his his success and just again what he's done for you know In his life and self made and all that and then sticking staying you know he had every opportunity to go somewhere else and stay and you know i and then immediately rewarded is truly the good stuff. That's why we route and that's why we watch you know and and i'm sure in your case while you play i just love it and you know again. I don't know what the answer to the question. I posed was you gave an excellent one i. I'm just wondering how that sorta stuff resonates in the locker room. Certainly when you're you're somebody who's also fans slamming beers fans going crazy. You're plugged into the fans. They're plugged into you. It's kinda cool. You know i and also yawn like like you said it best. You honest is such an easy person root for And i would say from one athlete to another to see his into here about his work ethic and not only being one of the superstars of the entire league but to hear his work ethic to of that dog mentality and that just that that that hunger in that fire every day that really resonates particularly with a person like myself. i. I love hearing that. I love the preparation. I love the hard work. It isn't just sunday. It's monday through saturday. I'm just wondering if when everyone was wondering if you honest was gonna stay or comeback. If chris middleton heard it from you honestly to hear it from other people david. I just don't know the answer. The question you know. I think. Chris probably got a phone call from jaanus. No i would say. I wasn't in the room. But that's probably just my guess because know that's probably it would probably a lovely conversation David i enjoyed our chat once again. A look i. I know we got a day with with pat. I mean if you wanna have a what. dbt's or something like that on the are es. I'm up for if you want to have something like that job even better if we throw it on tuesday at the same time and then we'd just go view for viewers. We'd have this is here. Tastic sound like you're sitting next to me all right. Well look for my call david. We'll give you all. Thanks for the call here. Really appreciate it. you'd be. Well thanks you too about yards and do a lot of these shows and appreciate he. Does this mean. I can smoke. Cigars during davidson may excellent. You may slip patio. Pat pat is free. eases free as they come. Yeah they were very blue. Which is crazy you have to wear tank tops. I think that's it's not. I know i am who i am. Pat who is who he is. You know normally my competitive nature. You can go like. I'll go toe for toe but you know. Pat put stuff on his youtube page. Literally he can sneeze and get two hundred thousand years. We're still growing ours. it's all underneath. Seven thousand but db db. Tuesday's what line do the same time. That would be same time. See who see how flies. That'd be a test. I'll take the lineman against the goat quarterback be great if they're also aaron and david or sitting next to each about to say. It looks like aaron's doing that from his like you know porch right doesn't look like he's got the brick background behind him. It looks like he's at home. That's what tuesday's tuesday's an off day. Looks like he is zoom in on. Its own thing but something tells me air in errand is not new. That looks like he's his off day. He's doing his own stuff he loves. Patty loves aj. He's going to do it. "Feel like they're like south carolina. Football yeah i don't know i think that's in south carolina really and vandy vandy. Yeah bandies dare. I there in the sec. Right yeah maybe but then vandy like this something where they could be like. Hey we're actually in academic school. I don't have that i didn't. It'll honey until recently. When i watched netflix special. I felt bad for the owner. Yeah like i was sick. You're he goes. You know this kinda sucks every weekend coming out here getting your ass kicked if that was like what two three years ago when that came out on the show gotten worse. Yes yeah way worse. I have a question for you kevin. I you know. I think it is a tired mean. But it's what i'm gonna use here is christian horner the biggest karen of all time. Wow you know he is the guy who kinda walks around the paddock and kind does it is that is that legal like that. Kind of thing. hey what are you guys up to kind of stuff is he the karen of f one. Yeah a little bit. But i would also say that when you're you know red bull is has been on the defensive since they stopped winning championships seven years ago and i kind of think like politics is such a big part of it. I think toto would be a karen. If they flipped. And maybe this year they will end up flipping. Melissa todo sent an email today. I mean who sends emails except karen. Yeah that's true. And i i do like that. Aspect of like your. It's coaches working the wrath. Where yeah it might be excessive but then you get to the fourth quarter in all of a sudden a call goes your way and it's like well. Maybe that help that. He was just berating him for the first half. Yeah a helmet marco's. Also karen he's another red bull executive he's also the guy who At the beginning of the pandemic said we should just inject the drivers with kovin to just start start rising so he. They've got some ideas over there right. I think dabo tried that. At clemson doubt yet i would like i would like daboh if he were an f. One like if you were the the the The hell six thousand day. The team through the press principle right dabo just be like well. You know he'd be like at the end of a seven-year mercedes run and be like people get out and it's like literally. No one doubts you guys win every single weekend. Be like for my money. Lewis hamilton's underrated. You'd be like what are you talking about That would be fun to see dabble in charge of an f one team team principal. I think that's about it. i you got anything else. Anything on glanced roll. No no that's proven after five weeks of of watching who's your best hanged they'd cut. Who's the best hang we're daniel ricardo on part. Now take He was good. He was good hang I like i mean. I as i said a ferrari fan so are you though. I feel ernie walk. No no no. I really resume resonated with me when he did the whole line of like if you ask a little kid to draw car. It's always read. I just i was like yeah. You know what you're right. You're right the red car. It's cool although they change today. Change the color of the ferrari car for next year. Did i see that right You know. I don't hey. So did they had them in. The has unveiled a prototype for twenty one thousand two. I don't think they have though the paint on it just yet. So he may seem like the twenty twenty two generic car. thought would change. Change the red. There's a lot of merchant. That's been moved with that ferrari. Red yeah i love the ferrari so i i also Like none of the sports teams. That i root for in my life are have historical dominance so i thought this was the first chance where i can be like. I'm a ferrari fan. Do like the yankee fan. Twenty seven rings thing in people basis. Where it's like. Oh yeah we might stink now but check. Check the rafters. It's all ferrari banners. So i figured that rounded out everything else i root for. That's a nice. That's a reason. I like right like i. I know it's kind of a front runner. Move even though they're down right now but you know they'll be back we're always back right. I thought your back sunday yeah. They're changing their entire rules in two thousand twenty two and so there will be new teams. That are good new teams. That are bad. so far. He's got justice. I heard i heard through grapevine for. I think they've got something qu'une for tweets you have do you have like tidbits f. One tidbits i. Here's some hugest. Here's some things you know hanging around the paddock would you. You hung around paddock on kit. Amtrak with you dig or race last week though. Yeah that was electric racing dude Well i'm in. Some guy came up to me and said he liked going abroad so a lot of people say that hot site and so so wait. Which team do you for kevin. I've been waffling. So ryan tried to get me on the mclaren bus so to speak and i'm thinking about like have you ever met someone who drives mclaren not yet awesome. Yeah i don't know i don't know about that. Here's what cleven kevin gave this tidbit about lewis hamilton. When we did the driver summer house draft where i picked for stop and because i think he's a machine and being mad is exactly why like like. I just think it's hilarious. Yeah yeah uh of hive of verstappen in you. Yeah right anger he and could see it. He holds it in his chest. Like you do. Yeah no fair fair criticism. But not chris is. That wasn't a criticism. Just a fact.

"He had no plan when drew stripped him and led a breakout at the other end so that was a bad position for two reasons. They didn't get a shot off. And then it led to easy easy. Breakout milwaukee on the other side of it as phoenix was furiously. Trying to come back in that game. I mean there's some criticism they've been players chris. Paul enough that play booker enough in game. Five anti sat too much and that's problem That's that's part of it. But there's just abe milwaukee's gonna shoot like that. I don't know if there's a ton you can do because here's staff that will throw at you. The suns in game five shot fifty five from the floor in sixty from three so fifty five overall sixty three the first time in history an nba team has lost a playoff game shooting at those numbers which again gets us back to the bucks. Big three and how. That's even possible but booker. You could tell. I love aidan. Call a timeout. At the end of game five they still had a shot clock in play so it wasn't like a straight run it down to zero antic shout renault. This but booker was inbetween decisions. So booker wasn't thinking about clock and then thought about clock and then by the time he kept thinking about all this stuff. Drew's coming off to help chris. Paul because booker has twenty four field goal attempts in the fourth quarter this series. He zero assists. Now there's one assist that was maybe going to happen. That one two eight bit jaanus broke up which will be his kind of legacy. Play for janas as much as chris. Paul trying to cross up janas at the end of game. Four and falling down and having a layup if this doesn't work out for phoenix that's gonna be unfortunate. Is going to be like mike tyson face tattoo for chris. Paul's playoff run all right. So we have that part now. Speaking of chris paul. Let's bring up this bullshit stat. You've seen running around. I get if you don't like chris paul. You're gonna pile on. I like him. I think something's wrong Whether it's mental or physical i don't know but even with the game five numbers that a couple years now if you looked at him and said hey you already talked about us pretty good. He made all his threes twenty and ten like he was pretty getting game five. I think he's still somewhat disengaged. Now i also saw some people saying like mani was sitting him because he wasn't playing well. It wasn't that significant. Monty has done a deal where he's tried to pay paul and bring him back strong for the fourth quarter. That's exactly why. Paul at the end of game four or excuse me at the half a game for played less than almost everybody that was a major rotation guy and you know look. I think they're just trying to find a to preserve him. But i'm not going to buy the. Hey he's older now. He's tired excuse when he lit up the clippers a few weeks ago and lit up The bucks in game one now. He's all of a sudden tired with three days off. In between so i'm not i'm not accepting that as an excuse but however even though i'm paul fan and of disappointed i'm telling you i don't think he's as good as the stat line will be in game five so i don't know what the hell to do with him. The piling on historical playoff trends stuff with him. Some of its fair this data. That's out there now is not an everybody's all over including espn which is kinda surprised. That went through because it takes you. Five minutes of research realize flaw. This is chris ball they blow this to oh lead he'll be the first player in nba history To blow to lead in the playoffs Four times now. First time it happened was an oh. Eight with the hornets against the spurs. That hornets team was not very good. They lost in seven to san antonio. And we're talking about two of the top four seats Go back and look at that. Two thousand eight hornets team against the nice role players. Not a great team. Chris paul guys are up to oh. They lost to a prime dunkin two thousand thirteen They're up to oh against memphis. Grizzlies blake got hurt. Blake played nineteen minutes. Four points in game five fourteen minutes in nine points in game six. If you remember that hurt game four he was completely different guy shell of himself so that was because at her two thousand sixteen to elite against the portland trail blazers. Somebody got hurt you know. That guy was blue to lead. It was chris paul and now this one which is far more agreed and horrible compared to any of those other ones because this is going to be on him. But that's the kind of stuff run like. Look you wanna knock him go ahead. I can't defend the last two games. I can't defend the effort deferring to campaign and major possessions at end of the game four. I i can't defend any of that stuff. And i'm to the point now where i'm like. Maybe maybe just. Maybe i was just wrong about this guy. I don't feel like i was. But maybe i was and we'll have to see where matt have to accept that at the end of it but let's end with a positive because yawn is at twenty. Six years old is almost the perfect either when a championship here because all the stuff that even though we loved the stars but the pettiness some of the bullshit and stuff about like is it really about basketballers about everything else. It's the moving around. Which again i don't really get on the players case for deciding to team because i think that's what this generation is so you can get mad about it but i don't wanna waste that kind of energy but i could be whatever to that part of it but still respect and admire the fact that jaanus you know isn't isn't there yet. Maybe he would be. Maybe they bounce out earlier again this year. You know granny just did the extension but maybe he would have bounce in two years. Who knows. I don't think i would ever rule anybody out after learning about doing it was san antonio but he has put together. Some assist games now is assist ratio is not necessarily that much higher on some of the advanced stuff In the playoffs it he'd go back to even two years ago he's about the same. But the usage rate has dipped down to the lowest usage rate that he had in a playoff season in the last three years. And this is somebody at one point. You're like okay. But he is. He a limited offensive player. Yeah i think it's still somewhat true. is gonna make free throws like all these concerns that we had about that we started seeing sort of amplified during the net series that they still got through that he's found ways to complement middleton especially but drew middleton when those guys have it rolling and yet his effort is attitude is like unflappable throughout. So here's a twenty six year old. John it's in his first. Nba finals looks completely comfortable. And i think as far as stars go his popularity like his approval rating that she rated here about people on morning television. His is already through the roof. Especially with that quote about the ego and your pass and all that kind of stuff you know not sure. I- hundred percent agree with it but everybody seemed to love it This is somebody that could be the face of the mba in a way. We may not have had before because he came in as a middle round pick. He's foreign people aren't quite sure. I was looking back at his rookie year. He shot thirty five percent from three easily the best of any season now. Some people think he got so jacked into shoulders so big. It's screwed up shooting mechanism Altogether so maybe. That's the case. But i would say that it's hard to find somebody who didn't like jaanus already. It's almost impossible now as he's a game away from mba championship to find somebody in the basketball world. Talks about basketball. Who's just a fan of basketball. That doesn't appreciate him even more if.

I mean i saw that garbage ejection. He got when he barely made contact. Now know what's he say he's thinking job acids. Oh the mvp. Sorry i have a one way conversation in my ear. Joker third quarter dan. Eight in a must win game for the. Mvp's team that was mickey mass rafts at the nba. Just a couple of days after a security guard comes sprinting onto the court. The break-up potential scuffle now they're kicking. mvp's games in must win games. Are you kidding me now. Jeffrey dictum say he was trying to set down with this particular. Swipe did hit him in the face and it was a eat grazed his nose and then got both his hands seven foot something coming down just grazing a face in there. You could see how it could been a flagrant two or whatever but kicking the mvp out of game in a muscle and obviously sons fans which are in abundance by the way saw clip from somebody leaving that game where all the fans were out there. I guess phoenix massive basketball. Town congrats at his sons. I mean there's an asterisk next to that win to make this sons in four but maybe the refs solid sons and four guy in the crowd acknowledged how awesome it was. Let's get the mvp outta here. Guy who has twenty rebounds twenty points on this every single night and make this easier but good for the. You're right. I didn't like that getting kicked out of that game for that either. I mean the nba should not be happy that it happened either but okay i ask you every time. Do the sun having part of that what. Mba's that decision for sure. But not in the moment though the call. Oh yeah oh yeah. They go to eject. How fast and from when it happened to when he actually jesse jackson that go to the thing and they do the same any okay. We'll talk to him before they check them. The nba is isn't tim. Donaghy thoresen says they review ahead. Go review it and then it comes down. It was like a five minute break but they always put the. I assume i assume every time they put the thing on adam silver's just sitting there on the other side. Get him out. I don't know okay. he's gonna go than the. Nba is trying to set a tone. Hey we won't not to deal with any of this foolishness. Foolishness is the fact that lebron drinker at high school basketball games. And not in the turning. Still whenever you said. I didn't see. You were getting ready to take it out for a spin. Whether it's beautiful cheapen where i was headed by the way was you know nice. Your buddy showed that is how thinking nowadays going forwards and she taught me but there's a lot of patent on them you know saying hey a lot of people say you were your way overpriced but i want you. I'm happier on my team. I'll jeep know that although what he's incredibly inconvenient hand tough to drive a lot of places and there's a lot of sundays to drive that old thing around. "Yeah that's good sports. And so what's happening. Pittsburgh dawes fuck around dude. He puts his hands up. Holds a roof up. That's what we're like. No we want with that. Be the the sand volleyball right. Like the to onto wash carry walls doing this one again. I haven't seen for her. I'm pretty sure she's in the big thing. When you're blocked a volleyball spike. Some people think they need jump real high. Don't most bikes are happened during the campaign. That's all you need to get to don't jump to high has become the then. Go ahead and talk point. Why wouldn't you jump to high. So you know they're not. It's not going over unit to hit your elbow. it's still going because then it gives us. You know like you just walked right off the side of hate it off site. Oh no hired mechanic. I was a proficient volleyball player proficient. I i don't know if i'm using that word right or not. Very i was a good volleyball player. She jump sir. I had jump floater. Yes so instead of the topspin running. Floater uncle sam. Voters like sand. Volleyball is awesome. Pu volleyball astonishing. Get one of those again. I such a fear of water for so long after the incident with my ear. I don't necessarily love volleyball but beach volleyball is the best. I really enjoyed it. Workout to man. Hey die you absolutely die. I saw who's driven ex on the beach executive your oh. Yeah xavier rhodes. Did you see his sand workout. Now he's gliding across the he's coming back obviously going to need them julios in town in the afc south here with the culture whatever. He was training on the beach. It was unbelievable watching him. I was puked watching has worked out. It on socks talks on on the sandwiches awesome. He was just moving though kills. Did you guys have sanford bidding green bay. I believe we did have a sandpit eventually. We didn't use it a whole lot but when we did. Yeah it's death. They tried to introduce that a couple of different times in a couple of different strength coaches at the colts. And i don't remember ever stick into it the first couple of workouts in there whenever you just go in their own workman the see it on the internet. This'll be fun. You go in there and little your four steps in. Like oh my. You're running ten steps to get two feet as you're dislike a. Yeah but dabba do guy in there. Basically it is we did. Did you do college state. We did a decent amount where there'd be certain days where the whole workout was in the sandpit and unlike the dip and pull up bars that were right next to and it was just. You just killed yourself for an hour. Straight really would have had massive anxiety going into that one did. I was very nervous before every single. One yes everybody was scared to. It was early morning. Was this offseason early morning type stuff. I assumed it was like the weird one off workouts that you have every once in a while to change things up like on a friday. In the summer we done every day. Same way the end the hills this hill thing law school hill and west virginia. It was like. Did you have to leave your where you guys were practice. Like normally worked out in like meet up their stadium so it was like on one side of the stadium. The law school is up on top of it and in west. Virginia mountaineers the hills. Are you know a bit steep gloss. Scooter had to first. I walked class had never again but the law school hill was what you led up to all summer all summer workouts to pass a law school hill basically it was considered the aggro crag base about your cat that was your final conditioning. Tests was the hill and it was how many what would you do. I think it was ten of them in. Got a certain amount of time depending upon your weight class to get up and back down before the next one was starting and then if he didn't make it you had to make up everyone you to make and you weren't allowed to leave base. They had people there. I'm sure people learn about this now. Had people there until four. Pm five pm. These things started seven thirty pm when people are still crawling up. Don basically the hill to get there for me. I was very fortunate. I grew up running up and down. She running down. The hill is almost like that is a bigger part of the whole thing. Because the faster you get down by the way the more weight you have getting up you can kind of pace yourself if you know how to run down a hill not everybody knows how to run downhill especially a steep one. I look like the fucking girl chasing the cheese skipping down his weight at the bottom but i seen plenty of solar bodies on thing it is especially when you're when you're dead tired. They're trying to come. Come down steep hill. Good people just ian shift. Whoa jumping. What's that walter. Payton up and down attempts used to wear ryan's houston. Tim's have jerry rice. Did that as well is what. Aj said hills are motherfucker. And i like we have one in my backyard. Now did a little. So sorry to interrupt i to let you know that if you're not gambling with your wrong tape into sports book is available and Seven.

"It's like they're not gonna trade so then next day it's they should have a year where they say. Hey one more year one more time and now set us up. That's that'll thing in. Now it's at this point. How do you see coming to an arrangement. I know in. We're getting close here now and not enough to season starts soon enough but it starts soon. I mean there. Is you know what i mean. How do they. How does this anything. I said this last week. Like at some point when does green bay focused on football because the only team in the nfl. that hasn't had the opportunity to focus on. I think the only way that that aaron get goes back through two ways that i think erica's my parents has changed a little bit. Now that we've got to the middle of june there's two ways that my mindset there and says aaron place for the packers this year he just doesn't want to give up thirty plus million dollars by sitting out you know like he just and i don't know he is with that or something he would do but if he doesn't want to do that that's obvious to kind of talked about this a couple of weeks ago. His agent david done like what happens if his agent david done goes back to aaron and says hey the only team that is going to give up enough. That green bay is going to consider this. Trade is the boss. Vegas raiders because then aaron has no i would imagine sit back and go all right as much as i dislike some of the people that are here. I'm not winning the super bowl. And the next two or three years with that defense in in las vegas so hostile be above all things and no matter what the destination is or does he want to go out to a place that listen. He's got a shot to win the super bowl. And that's not a las vegas. I do think he hasn't denver. So i think those are the only two ways the erin actually goes and says all right. I'll stick around for another year Dan stein i think a lot of teams. I think a lot of teams of the interested if they find out errands potentially on the move. Don't you think well this again. This goes back to this D have the capital to to give it up green bay and do you have a young player at the position. Do you really believe as super bright future. Because again if you're the cleveland browns. Sure you have. Team wants aaron rodgers but is it worth giving up. Those potentially three first picks and like moving on from baker mayfield. I i would say that's a tough pill to swallow if you're cleveland. After finally building. It up the miami dolphins. Are you going to give up all that and move on from to thank. That's the team. That i could sit there and says has a young trauma and quarterback. But if you had the chance to give three one's and move on from that young quarterback they should very much entertain doing because they're super bowl contender with them. The denver broncos are obviously a home. Run so i think that like i. There's a modern variables attached to it other than men. We want aaron rodgers jew. Say miami book. I think any team with their quarterback is in the conversation for winning. Whatever you get. I'll go back to the raiders. Not with that miami. There are super bowl contender with absolutely.

Dan stein aaron rodgers david aaron las vegas this year thirty plus million dollars last week two ways next day erica denver broncos middle of june three three years one couple of weeks ago green bay super bowl miami

"Hopefully he'll be able to regain everything because with that amount of time with an absence of airflow. I wonder what potentially happened right now. That's kind of but they were pressing. I guess for the whole man. I don't know enough about medical. I do know as i said. Holy shit is i thought it was. It was almost like a c- outer body it just didn't feel react tournament. I just found out. It's a massive deal then bang. I'm watching. it's oh my god here we go but then after we find out he's okay. The day moves along then. What time is it sucks. Nate diaz date. Now i know there are other fights and there was. The stars were an abundance. Lot of the stars are out there. It was a hell of a show. Okay i didn't catch a lot of the fights. Leading up to nate diaz many afterward but going into you know watching cuts on the internet and seeing everybody that was there in the moments in the lead up beep shown up alongside austin matthews shot at the sports center. You know on the internet clipping out. The athletes in the inputting beads by light beams moves the needle. Have you saw where. Dana white put beeps hard side camera on opposite to give him space. We can lean forward to medically interested in what was going on the way. and obviously. That's he's a needle mover. Then you had the fatina guy who sold the company by the way the original of you have seen sitting there cage side and you know the first five round on championship or non title fight. The ufc's ever had for nate diaz and it starts out in ds comes out. And i'm like okay here. We go this is our guy. This place goes ape shit for him. That has to be a feeling that is pretty cool. You're walking out the fight. Another human gladiator. This is the actual gladiator and that entire place in arizona was on his side maybe the entire place and then old buddy we comes out or whatever he gets booed okay. I wonder if he knew he was going to be the he'll he was very very. Didn't really let it affect them. Didn't play into it. Much was in there. But when nate starts fighting and ben and over in front of him and doing all this in you got rogan going crazy a part of his strategy by the way he is he is trying to fuck with this guy like this is why natives like forget about these things after watching so many of these events when diaz brothers not fighting you forget that that is their actual style. They hey fuck you bake like they are. Actually you know black belt. Jiu jitsu trained incredible athlete fighters that are like street style fighters and i absolutely love everything about it. He gets into the third round. Okay felt like he was just trying to make it to the fourth round. May because i thought somebody might have had a better something. Was there over under oath. He gets into the fifth round. It's like okay. Here's an idea. It's time and i don't know if all buddy fully respected it that entire. Das had his ass out. That guy was out with like forty eight seconds. I don't know why he didn't. You know what i mean. I think he tried afterwards. But i think even he was incredibly tired with his incredible cardio and conditioning and smokes. Guy's a fucking hero. He's a fucking hero. And i think he could have had. Oh yeah honestly think. He pointed at him in the guy the camera. Hey scar tissue. He's so much scar tissue. He bleeds a lot of that. Helped troupe. there was a lot of blood. I don't want zooming in on old buddies face. He was out. Yeah all i think had to do is literally. Just give them like a little shovel at one time. I wonder if you know when you're twenty four minutes into a fight if that isn't as noticeable as maybe when you zoom in on right when he's zooming off way there's a lot of people like oh it was a work. He didn't wanna beat them. He just want to put on a show. Bub-bubba people tweeting that he didn't do that. It was like maybe he's twenty four minutes into the fight and he's like out there it was. It was an amazing show. I loved it. And i want to bed immediately after that congrats to a starbucks or and tori marvin batori. Okay that winner. Who fought style a brandon marino. Aac congrats to him and he beat up that other guy and he'd be up to our guys. Hey henry added. Even if i didn't want to win though is now what makes him. So awesome is that he's just in there to put on a show and fucking point at people after he knocks allah then he also gave away his address say he's balanced party. Come on over house. And then he i think i think he's trying to get a shot to a sponsor business there at the end. He got it by the way he he goes over. He talks again. Camera was off. Which i wonder if that was going to be. Maybe a plug for his bud or something like that. Because you know i mean after you fight for twenty five minutes. Assume it's difficult to get a shirt off a legend man. Love that guy anyway and then he was asked about what a we'd he was smoking and he is in like fucking smoking big fan of that shout out to him then obviously on sunday. There's some golf happening there. Some life happening There was an indycar race. There was tennessee. His joker her big wayne over in pariser and tennis and he had it with that. Greek fellow hey He and all. I mean that went to extra innings goes the extra innings almost goes into even more almost sudden death. Ot was happening. One point joker is incredibly talented. "Hello it is monday. June fourteenth two thousand and twenty one lot of conversations to be had dane or slavsky stops by absolutely love. That guy obviously can't wait for you to hear the conversation we had with him. He made some declarations. We didn't necessarily understand but he's done his research. There's a reason behind it Aj hawk obviously David bahktiar e the boys. Let's have a monday via french other front. If by the end of this you like the show if not just activated never happen all right. let's get to it. How about soccer. Maybe being the leadoff here here we go. This is not have your mics off. How about soccer potentially being the leadoff in this entire thing. 'cause this weekend there were soccer teams from all over europe and russia playing in a tournament that i did not know existed into very very recent here and if you watch the games this weekend you found out oh you don't give a fuck about this. That is probably how a lot of us felt. That are listening to this show. That is built. I think in here. I tried to watch. I tried to be invested. I tried my best to learn about the world's game but it was just very difficult to care about any of those games knowing that the team that i'm ultimately pulling for in the end the united states can never win that now if they would have allowed. Okay the con- caf nations champion here. We go also known as the united states of america to play in an exemption for a representative of the concacaf. Then i think there would be or maybe if there was even i think then i would think you know what i care about this. It was tough for me to get investment but when that incident happened on saturday morning it was almost like a perspective porter for everybody was i started thinking to myself if christian erickson man who had a cardiac arrest on the field while the ball was getting thrown to the as he was touching. The bali passed it back. Full collapse for cardiac arrest right on tv. Then all of a sudden you have to panic then these these. I don't know if they're paramedics out of their doctors on nurses. I'm not exactly sure who they were. They immediately start doing. Cpr live on the field right in front of everybody. I would assume that there was millions of people watching around the globe. I'd assume especially in europe watching that whole thing take place. We were watching it here in the united states on nbc. Then the people in the stadium. It was a scene that. I honestly one of the scariest things i've ever seen in my entire life. You're watching this man who is in your eyes in my eyes. Somebody who played soccer growing up. He had to be in human performance to play soccer. That is a marathon. That is an absolute problem. I mean that is something that is this one on. That is something that that sport is not only predicated upon being smart and having you know the wits of understanding the strategy and everything like that of soccer but you also have to have the conditioning of marathon runner. You have to train. Basically every single day year round their seasons are incredibly long especially for him who plays on inter milan. Then you see something like that happened a scary scene. Where somehow he ends up in stable condition just like eleven to twelve minutes later when they get him into an ambulance hospital. There's a shot of him going into the ambulance. Whereas eiser alert in my first thought was man that was like ten minutes long. It started like forty six minutes on the clock which never stopped by the way neither did the broadcast which of them. Assuming there's gonna be a lot of people that are going to have to answer some questions for sure. Because as i was watching at home alongside of my wife who actually i was. I think i had one back to the bedroom to grab something and she liked call. She was like pat. And i came out she was once. We just sat there for what that was like. Seven eight minutes of just like almost silence. The commentators were trying to put a perspective on it. Then you started seeing. His wife was down there. The goalie running back and forth coach running back to four teammates crying and it was like at. What point do you send us back to the studio right i i. I think i was thinking watching at home. But then in this particular case i mean i guess hindsight's always twenty twenty and we all assume the absolute worst but the incredible work by the medical professionals. I have no idea they were able to do that. I m bravo amazing work by the responders. There that took off. Did that. And i guess hindsight since they did show us all that i think it gives us a much better perspective in thank you know like in admiration of the medical thing because we watched a guy that was dead and then they say he was gone. He was dead and they brought him back to life. So i guess we got a chance to witness something that potentially happened. Sometimes hospitals behind closed doors but man if that guy ends up dying in a long run which is incredibly sad chris and obviously that the people that were covering that we watched. Somebody's last. I mean it's just that was a wild situation. I thought they were going to go to studio a lot quicker than they did. Then you way for obviously a suspending the match bringing the match back. That's a whole thing now because they ended up losing. I mean it is in by the way. This guy was like a stud player for that. This was a guy guy. I texted dumpy. Who is this as play here. Not place it enter. It's a. He's i'm like damn. How the hell does this happen happy. He's okay but that was the big. That was a crazy moment in my sports watching live discuss. Get to see it. I assume yeah for sure. I don't know. I can't remember if it was on the espn copier. Maybe it was a tweet. I saw from just like the stadium right. I'm pretty sure they showed them like hitting absolutely that was what brought him back to life right right. But when i saw that i was like holy shit. Like i was trying to think if i if we'd ever seen anything like similar to this in like any sporting event and most of the time it's just like a guy with a gruesome injury or something like that i was trying to think football but the cramp i guess would be at the tony. Romo the the. What's by the way. It has to be very hard to talk over. Those gruesome injuries. It's always like bone lower something like that. Like stand blood bone. Oh my god. That surgery is going to be crazy whenever it's like. Oh hey this could die his right here. My dad played in a I forget what age over thirty league over. Forty league or something like that. And i did not go to the someone games. I do not go to this game for whatever reason happen and i'm very happy i wasn't there. I assume that would be traumatizing thing. Especially there. I mean very very fortunate that he was in the presence of whoever the fuck saved his life there ever. That was incredible job man. What a perspective that can happen. Christian yeah. "Three players decided to form really wants to get his players alike you want to get this done let's make sure we're getting everything that we can find liable for you poor David Bakhtiari JJ watt and Richard Sherman tweet about this what are you doing publicly I have no problem players voicing their opinions as long as they understand what they're talking is it going to be the headliner for the people that we don't hear of the sweetest deal one way or the other we are presented by progressive insurance phone guests will be joining us on the show opens or performance line might collect tree we go here with you as we take you through Monday morning a lot of stuff happened over the weekend including obviously want to talk about what happened in Las Vegas Saturday night Tyson fury taking down Deontay Wilder in the seventh round TKO in just thirty minutes though we may be joined by the guy who had the best week of all time and that's the emergency goalie for all her job what a great story David Ayers forty two years old and played some junior hockey Dr Zamboni among the other things that he does and needed this step in and I actually got the win in the in the hurricanes game so just fantastic he was the number one star what a great story he'll be joining us a little bit later so that's fun the opposite of fun is CBA talk well all my gosh but here we are get set for the underwear Olympics this week in Indianapolis the NFL scouting combine this great article on ESPN dot com you can click on it has all the the words and the jargon you're gonna hear word hand size season in the exactly where you spend or not me Bashara on ice you know all that kind of stuff so all that's going to come in on of course will be doing the combine show NFL live will be there a week and will be doing a show Saturday on ABC at the combine so you want to check that out but Michael this is a backdrop for what we thought might happen last week and eventually did not and that is a new decade of labor peace being put to bed with a new collective bargaining agreement between the NFL owners and the NFL players and it took kind of a weird twist because Tuesday or Wednesday of last week there was a big rush of momentum that a deal was close to being done in the NFL owners voted on the deal and they didn't get a majority I didn't get a unanimous but they got the three fours what three quarters votes they needed twenty four of thirty two to approve it and then it was up to the NFLPA who had been negotiating with the NFL owners on this for a while and it got weird really quickly because the executive committee of eleven player reps who had been negotiating with the NFL for these last nine ten months on this deal decided on us vote of themselves six five against the deal that they had been negotiating for for a long time and so instead of a of a ratification vote coming this week from the entire NFL player body there instead going to have another meeting with the owners this week basically to try and say can we get a little more what I what I don't blame them one bit again what one of those eleven who voted Lorenzo Alexander who's the NFLPA vice president will join us in just a little over an hour this guy is he's what what a great representative he is for the NFL and NFL Players and even though he just retired still with the NFLPA so we look forward to talking to him a little over an hour I this is what I would would do try as well I would be involved in this is one thing I was definitely heavily involved and I wasn't a player rep but I was at those meetings and I was one I really wanted to listen intently to what was going on and how players were being affected an understanding that there's more than just you know you see the headlines is going to be money and safety in games but where is the money distribute how is it distributed what's attributed when you're done playing water health benefits are the foot soldiers taking care of more than the millionaires who are going to get their millions anyway and sell it without going into into the weeds too much here I did think there and I heard Jeff Saturday who has been part of these negotiations while he was playing a hug that got it all done last time around he said that he does like this deal he would sign this deal there is some nice increases for not only practice squad player but minimum salaried guys in the league so between practice squad minimum salary talking about a decent chunk of players I'm I'm interested to talk to a rental because remember to get anything you have to give something right and they got more of the training camp lessened a more things lessened from practice situation now this is where I I don't get it I mean because I'm I'm not involved today our camps were way harder no question a so then the last last CBA done the the off season started later only fourteen padded practices during the season there was a lot of safety issues at the players got and I'm interested to talk to Lorenzo who's been in the league a long time before that was even taking place when it was it was kind of harder to give up more to get more that they got like sixteen padded practices in training camp and some other things in that and I thought it had already lean toward being easier and are safer but this is where it's tough for me to answer because I'm not in it now that do you give up some things to get even more of that was that worth it to get it to get less pads and more breaks because it already because I I came from the time when it was a lot harder and I think this is pretty easy but I'm not in it now right so these guys still may think and that's what I want to ask around so it's important to get even more breaks and rest I would have thought is that something I want to fight for knowing that if I get it I have to give up something as well or is there something else I wanted to go for a specially in this deal which includes the thing that players have been fighting for a long time which would be more games yes a seventeen game not yes understand over a ten year period about five billion dollars right trickle back for the for the players but how much more important with that recipe if we're talking about accidental so that that's where Lorenzo I really want to ask him about that again I don't want to get too much in in in the weeds here but I do like a decent amount of what's going on here and again to seventeen games as I said this from the beginning when everybody said there's no way to be seventeen actually said if the player is good enough for W. seventeen games right players can deal with seventeen games M. M. it is can we sit there and say there's no affect no you can't there's a risk with everything every extra black water or game you have what what are you willing to to take back for that correct I don't you know that that's going to happen I think seventeen games at some point is going to happen but I don't blame the players at all now to try to negotiate a little more Adam Schefter said the owners are not negotiating anymore but that's that's talk they are until they are exactly right so far the players I do give her another shot but there is that line of how much do we push because of the the the league watch to start renegotiate that TV deal so they want to get the CBA done yes so that that's what the owners are thinking of and the players are like Hey we don't really have an incentive to help you start renegotiating though they do have some because a bigger TV deal brings in more money which they can get a split off but there there really is no deadline to them so why they should try and push it a little more to see if if they can fax can get some more and again the reason why we say there's no deadline because this CBA goes in effect through the twenty twenty season and when the new league year would start in March of twenty twenty one right is when we would be looking at a lack at a lock out or no or no deal right for lack of a lack of a better term so there's there's a couple of key things to get through here first and foremost we need to understand that one begets another right as soon as the CBA is done the NFL can get to the real thing which is always been very cash grab for them the television deal and ratings since a little drip drip in twenty sixteen have gone back up right now there is no one in there is on no right because what the NFL can say to its TV partners which ESPN's one of those on fox and NFL network and CBS and NBC said Hey we're gonna numbers ratings are good why don't we all sit down and get this thing done while the numbers are good right because then there's the idea of what precipitated a little bit of a drop in the ratings last time around the presidential election of twenty sixteen right which sucked up all the air out of everything she did and there's the potential is what's coming up that could happen again this year although I don't know if it's gonna be as jarring as I was writing sixteen that was just crazy but that is a no no so how much is the lead willing to risk going into an unknown situation and how much are the players willing to risk going into an unknown such waging war right now it is very rosy there's a very very uplifting profitable picture which would create more money specifically for that seventeenth game so that's that's sort of where the players are and that's the NFL's perspective but I do think there is a little bit of of leverage your for the players because if the NFL feels that way is like Hey we should do this now we should do this now what it will do it now as long as we get a little more little more seen on the yeah it will be you know yeah help you help me to get out of in this together give me a little more when I was a little more and what that is the one that there are more benefits to players when they retire that was always something that was hard for players there was a couple things sitting in those meetings when I was playing to to talk about it even then I certainly was young and dumb to sit there and try and understand Hey let's get more when you're done playing because you know when you're twenty three twenty five you don't think about that I love to go yeah this is the right thing to do let's let's post career how are you going to set me up so that's a tough one ought to do and then it's like what are you fighting for in the future a lot of players are gonna be like well I want something that's going to show right now because I'm in the league right now and when some of this stuff takes effect I may not be in the league anymore so what benefitting me now and everybody is in a different position correct the eighteen or so hundred players on active rosters over twenty one hundred if you include other practice squad everybody's in a different situation so everybody has a different thought which make which again makes it difficult for everybody to be on the exact same pages say we need to stand together if in fact we need to take this to a point of you know withholding our services it's very difficult because you have only thirty two owners and you are over eighteen hundred players all in different situation right and the the top guys are always going to get their money that's that's the way it's going to be but let's say this deal and I think this is what Jeff Saturday was alluding to this helps those bottom guys the gunners sometimes on coverage teams these guys will get an automatic ball at a minute right going up to six hundred eighty five thousand dollars and if you're in this league for maybe only three or four years and you see a hundred thousand dollar increase sign me up for right so that that's the issue and there also was a little bit of confusion about how this all went down and now the the executive committee voted against a deal they've been negotiating with our digress yellow tried to explain that a little bit the executive council vote that six to five vote against the deal which took place right before the start of the conference call confused everybody that that the player reps got on the conference call and spent most of the talking about trying to figure out why the Executive Council voted against the deal it it it helps negotiate and less time than they had expected talking about whether they should approve it so they got to a point where they said let's take a time out so they're taking that time out but understand like if I'm out of the game mentioned that time out has a has an express but but I agree with this time yeah I do have your say you know even if you get a little a little bit more and I have no idea where the league's going going to go on this but again the league has more incentive right now to get.

"Accused to tonight's game in Baltimore one of them is the same as we pointed out last week ahead of the pre season opener against the Houston Texans it's gonna stay the same this week and it'll stay the same until week one and really throughout the regular season here on the opening drive it's very simple stay healthy we know the Packers starters including Aaron Rodgers are going to get some playing time tonight as we discussed earlier in the hour together that low floor said about a quarter so for his starters there should not be any real risks taken by Aaron Rodgers when he drops back to pass tonight one of the things that makes Aaron Rodgers so great and has made a great over the course of his NFL career is that he improvises better than almost anybody he rolls out of the pocket and finds receivers open one plays break down when protections break down you don't want to see any of that tonight because it lends itself to big hits and potential injuries when you're not standing back there behind five offense of linemen David Bakhtiari is a huge key to Aaron Rodgers staying healthy tonight I don't think you're gonna see a single snap tonight when Aaron Rodgers is out there that David Bakhtiari is not at left tackle position protecting his blind side for Rogers go through your progression if the ball is not there of a looks not their throw the ball away and move on to the next play it's not worth extending plays risking injury in a meeting last preseason game now meaningless is a subject term because obviously you have some things that you want to accomplish as we discussed earlier in the show about getting on the same page with your new play caller not the floor making sure the offense starts to click in a real game setting communication but in the grand scheme of things the you were adult tonight does not matter getting out of the game healthy is the only thing that matters tonight and Aaron Rodgers risks injury when he rolls out of pocket he knew the game number two this evening it's going to be interesting to see how much raven starting quarterback Lamar Jackson place tonight Lamar Jackson going into his second year as the unquestioned starter in Baltimore this season that was not the case last year with Joe Flacco still in the mix and we know that Lamar Jackson is a dynamic mobile quarterback that can also throw the ball he's a dual threat he can be too with his legs in he can beat you with his art so this is going to be an interesting test tonight if Lamar Jackson plays about the same amount as the Packers starters how they try to contain the Packers have revamped their defensive line they've revamped their linebacking corps to a certain extent and this would be a great test to see just how they handle a mobile quarterback now getting back to what we just discussed with Aaron Rodgers not leaving the pocket I would imagine Baltimore is probably preaching the same or a similar message to Lamar Jackson saying dude take it easy tonight we know you can run we know you can make plays with your feet but it's not worth risking your injury and your health before the regular season if you're taking big hits by making plays with your legs on top of that they want to continue to develop Lamar Jackson as a pocket quarterback and he does have an arm he can throw the football so it'll be an interesting test to see just how much Lamar Jackson does try to create with his legs apart as opposed to his arm and just how much the Packers are able to contain him in those ways let's keep the game number two tonight tied into that is kilo again number three and that's pass rush Aaron Rodgers spoke earlier this week after practice about the revamped defensive line in Green Bay here's what he had to say about that new group you know we have that the line that.
