That's wild. that is wild to me just like we don't need you which is weird. Why don't you or it's like you know like let's just play benefit of doubt out. Like what if they had contacted like his agents and they're like he's actually doing self there and they're like that's the only time we have for and we need them for this day this time the only time we have because he's been doing halla movies. I mean he did that. Zombie movie member. that garbage movie on netflix. I just wasn't that batista wouldn't God that zombie movie that i watched that was like two and a half hours. Since they announced attack of the swarm. I i mean griffin. Can vouch for me. This is the one that i have over and over and over like pounded into his brain that i wanna play. It's why i got all the books were playing. I didn't read them. I mean how. How serendipitous and speaking there that's griffin the gm from hideous laughter. How are you doing you know doing. Pretty dang good. I'm very excited to play. I think the last time. Stephen i got to play any starfighter was in our dead son's campaign which ended six months ago longtime ago. Yeah a little while. We're shaken off the rust. But i'm really really excited to play this and I figured the voice. I was gonna use today. Was going to hurt my vocal cords. So i made sure to pack a lotta alcohol proud to enjoy joining me on the on the right side of the screen table. I have on the top heath parker. Hey hey how you doing. I'm good man. "Even like nebulous different 'cause nebulous and she has like hair only has one mental. I everything else on hers. Like her normal body Michael rooker coming back as a do That's the part i like. When he's like hearing the guy out and he is like i never fight are never come alone a ravaged. You're never fights alone or something like that and he keeps saying it and they're like is that a line and then you just hear the whistle. Which i can't do that can you like that. Can you whistle at all. But not okay. I can't whistle that good. Can you breathe. Can you deal with air to you okay. So anyways he does his whistle with the little arrow thing and Everyone's voice is pretty much the same person except chris. Pratt and dave batista. Remember seeing chris pratt at the very very very end member he like picks him up from dairy queen. The dad right. Maybe just maybe. But nope or dave teesta. They said no. Thank you which is weird. I didn't think the collectors voice was the same guy. I had to google because i was like. There's no way it doesn't sound like him and it was beneath. Yoda toria okay. He didn't sound like sound like him from the movie. He was like way more like creepy about it or quiet. Yeah yeah it's weird. That he was like the the main and then like when you go to nowhere and you're looking at his stuff Like showed like some of the stuff he he had in his collection. Like you can see the head. Like captain america's shield He had like the head thing that helena. That yeah that helena war and apparently that's what god gave her her powers because as soon as he put that on he could like throw the fucking knife things anyway. Yeah right then. A the the duck howard the duck. He said something funny. I remember what was. He's just i think sarcastic. General was it about sexual probably yeah. He's weird though south there was like isn't howard the duck sexual doesn't have sex like a human. That's in the movie. i've never seen it either. Oh wow and. I just know somebody our circle. That really likes that yup. Can you guess who it is working. Yes it's my husband But this whole episode was such a different concept like the beginning is the same right but basically after that.

"The guy in david teesta. That's the man yes. I think it's a little bit of everything right but it's he got up the got. A snyder bats absolutely. And i think everybody you know it looks. I think for most people the trailers and stop it like okay. This is going to be zach matters. Zombie another zack snyder. Zombie movie awesome. Let's and we're all in. And then i think people watched it and you know where where you come down. You know good bad or indifferent that than that kind of went from there. So those are of the good better indifferent art indicative of the debut. Numbers is it just how many households actually watched a portion of the show. And i think it's like i think it's like two minutes so i if if you watch the the the show for two minutes you you're considered you know you watch your viewer. Yeah is on screens kind of thing. The can i have not seen it. I was a big fan of zack. Snyder's donna the dead. I think that would still qualify as being my favorite acts night or movie and but when when the reviews started coming in i'm really big fan of the cast garrett delahunt To taro dave petits name. But i do like dave teesta. I heard that it was overwhelmingly. Zack snyder so i saw the film i there's parts of it. That are good. The overall by overall score be low I didn't think it was a great movie. There's a lot of stupid shit happens in the movie. Although it's pointed out it's only liquors stupid shit happens but i've been like really stupid things that just yeah i in. I heard about like direct to'real choices that were sort of like now cut now cut to the next scene. Okay cut now and it just kept going and going and going and it was to showcase some of the more gruesome aspect is there are there are there are some some scenes that are overly long for no apparent reason other than to be overly long. Look at me. But that's kinda zach ciders things I don't fault too much for that. I think the the the movie would have benefited from him. Not shooting so if he had hired a dp. I think that the movie would have been A little better. i'm not. I'm not a hundred percent on this. But did you end. Phil talk about it over on we did. We didn't get a chance to review it so this is kinda my first time actually reviewing so what do you think. What did you think of it. But i thought like. I said i didn't want overall. It's a thumbs down for me right okay. I don't like you put numbers. But i will. I get like six okay. Five and a half or six. It's right in there for me. there's it's it's it's watchable movie. It's it's not garbage it's just. There's some wishes it happen. We'll put that on the back of the jess not garbage a so it's not garbage but it's look it's his accent or film people are gonna love it..

"Money in the world there you go so so dave. I'll leave the most obvious loss vegas bank heist one to you. You know so. Because i think that's probably the first on both of our lists there but The look feel of this kind of reminded me a logan which i love. You know kind of these guys who are broken down in vegas you know You know there were those casino scenes in low in and it's like what what what horrid city are we in right now and that's and how they made this look if i was you recommend zombie movie recently. World war z. Where it's kind of like zombies are working together. That's kind of the thing here. And the last one. I wanted to recommend or put as a puzzle piece which again maybe people don't know about very cool. Dave batista action movie called bushwick which we might have talked about before but basically like the government enforces martial law and bushwick in brooklyn. And it's up to like dave batista and brittany snow like escape. And it's all shot it's supposed to look like birdman where it's one continuous shot. And when i saw that. I was like man police. Good dude he can go. I got. I gotta watch that before. This comes out. That sounds pretty fun. Yeah as for the casino. Just not looking like vegas. Yeah absolutely i. I don't know why they couldn't try. But of course ocean's eleven with you know has to be in there Also i do not like world war z. I thought it was kinda terrible. I also am not that big of a fan of twenty eight days later. But i think both of those movies put together are at least. I guess attempting to push zombie genre forward in a way. Make zombies do new. Things make them have new characteristics. Which i think this movie definitely is trying to do. I mean even have azzam tiger. And i i think i read the other day. There's going to be robot zombies in it. So i guess we're trying new things was ambi- so you know i'll be generous. Something i love so freaking much back when i was a teenager and nowadays it just seems like it's completely run out of steam. I guess his dawn of the dead was the last one that i truly liked. And so maybe he'll be able to recapture something. I don't know disagree with you. Twenty eight days later. I love that movie man. I know people love it. I love alex. Garland wrote it but I boil danny boyle. Yeah love danny boyle. But i just. I don't know the movie just never really did that much for me. I think i was just already burnt out on sambas at that. I think that might be one. That's worth a rewatch for you. Maybe you know what that did. That was so different was really dealt with the site psychology and the mentality and it was a slow burn in again. It wasn't like jump. Scare jump scare was like really like kept you in your mind on the edgier seat so to speak hold onto your butts. It was one of those. Well speaking of hold onto your butts. Go with one last puzzle piece here because it's a movie i love and nobody else really seems to like. It's called the hurricane heist. Did you see that movie. Jason show. But i love the idea of pulling off a heist in a hurricane. Exactly that's exactly what it is. Nothing more nothing less but yet similar like insert mad libs do a heist during a blank. And so here we get a is rb invasion there. It was during hurricane. It makes for a really good b-movie setup. I'm surprised you didn't bring up dave. 'cause i know you love all. The new ones are the planet of the apes series. The idea of the you know the opposition which are not humans working together to overtake society. Yeah there you go. I would love to see there. Be some planet of the apes influence on this. I really want this movie to be good. I wanted to be fun. We we will see and hopefully do some theatrical screenings. I know netflix's been you know kind of opening up a little bit more lately with with putting their movies at least for a week or two and theaters so we will see especially now that we're back to go into the movies but The last one we got on our list coming out may twenty eighth in theaters and on disney plus is crew ella the origin story of crew ella from one hundred and one dalmatians films as if we actually needed that but it does look like it could be fun and emma stone is always gray and she plays cruella. What'd you think about this one. It looks it looks great. It looks superfund man so come on. I'm weighing on that and emma thompson. Right also yes. She isn't it directed by craig. Sp who what did he do. Recently i tanya. Yeah yeah which is great girl. Oh yeah okay so so much of it is on fashion and an evil boss lady or mean boss lady. Running a fashion industry devil wears prada right off the bat. You're to Origin story of character we later learned. Were recognized as villain. I picked melissa sent and Three shore craig. Gillespie directed it. But did he really or was it bachelor in disguise. Because this looks like it could be any bachelor of movie also move on rouge but you could pick any of them. It really does look like a bachelor of film. Yeah it kinda does absolutely i. I think i could totally see that. And it looks very big just very huge and big and over the top. so that that's got baz luhrmann all over it Devils were as great as a piece here and well if assume is also on my list as well i mean. I'm sure that if this does well we're going to see these for every big disney villain. But i mean. They're fun movies. I suppose the melis- melissa bryant movies in this one should be also throw in there. Of course joker you know female jokes one hundred percent. I know people push back against promising young woman being a female joker female joker and then the real female joker harley quinn. The birds of prey got to throw that one in there as well. Well here's my question. If this is a female joker are they're going to be a lot of white in self females who are going to relate to this character know they're probably out there. i mean. why not jason. why not. Well we have a lot of movies to look forward to in may obviously like there's so many other ones that we could've covered here but i think that that's enough for us to look at. I don't know. I think that's about does it. For looking at may movies though any other closing thoughts wanted to bring. I'm looking at this list of ones that we didn't cover and there's at least three more than i'm excited to see so as a big month and it should be fine not just to hear which ones we like. Put to hear which ones other people like. Yeah absolutely well. Jason as always thank you so much for doing this and you know hopefully it. We're going to get you back to cover one of the movies. We talked about here soon. But i wanna tell people what's going on on awesome movie year awesome movie year. We are currently in the latter half of our season on two thousand and three. Which if you do not remember is all about return of the king lord of the rings. There's also some other great movies there. We just covered american splendor. We've done this station agent. Lots of cool little indias that you might not have seen or might not have seen in a long time. That are worth revisiting. Plus some big ones so yeah. I definitely think this was a good season for us a movie year. I recommend listening to it. You can always find us on social media awesome movie your dot com awesome movie your facebook and instagram awesome. Movie pod on twitter. I'm jason harris comedy on facebook instagram. Jay harris comedy on twitter. Gopher chasing dot com zack. Snyder zombies have eaten my website. I hope and replaced. Maybe dave teesta will make a new website. That would be very nice. "Whatever i i think there's there's there's there's fifty percent of his bands that are just genuinely good people and then there's then you get the absolute i i personally. I love zack. Snyder's enthusiasm through like all these properties and his love for the stuff. I find it very genuine. Like every time i've seen him at a at a san diego comic con. And just like the you know. I remember just watching like his interviews on g four back in the day at every year at san diego comic con and just like he just exudes like this energy in love for these properties like does he always execute the best. No but man i think he is just an electric personality and i do like i don't disagree with you. I mean and i don't think it's wrong for someone to be excited about the projects that they're working on. I just think when it comes to things. Like the snyder verse. Like the snyder cut I just think that there is. There's been this whole movement for quite a while of him getting on social media and being like you know. Oh this other stuff was shit. And i'm amazing and all my work is gray and all my fans demand right guys and then it's like but that's neither here nor there we're talking about something totally different as far as like a trailer goes. I thought it was like a well done trailer. I love dave teesta right away. This sort of like is like oh. It's not really my wheelhouse. But i do enjoy about teesta I do think it's interesting. His take on zombie. Sort of genre. I agree with mike. These zombie seem much more. They're almost like professor hoped out like they. They are more cognizant than zombies normally are. they're not just sort of staggering around Incoherently just you know driven by the need to eat human flesh. They seem to be somewhat organized. I mean it's very typical. Zach snyder trailer. It's cut with like a really like slows. Sort of sad ish song over it so i. I don't know i'm going to give the trailer at taste. It i think a lot of other people will probably tupperware this trailer. I just think a lot of that has to do with the fact that the samba genre is not something that they terribly enjoy. And so it's but. I appreciate the trailer for what it is. I do appreciate the fact that it is sort of a different take on the zombie genre. It does look like a very fun. Movie Will i personally see. I don't know but i do think it looks like a fun entry into the zombie universe. I'm gonna make you be on that episode and now it's finest by. Yeah i i'm going to jump into this one real quick i. I liked the trailer. I thought it was fun. I but i am not a fan of aware zombies. I just want brain eating zombies. i. I'm not a fan of this whole looks like there's a queen of zombies. It's kind of like you know like she's the denarius she's control or like the the the the white walker king or whatever. The fuck from game of thrones in kind of controlling the night king..

"Never be bracco guys i. I'm not okay with this like one of the and brothers wrestling. wow but But now it was bret the hitman hart and his brother owen hart and his brother owen. Hart fucking died doing that. Shit he something. He fell from really high up. I don't know all the. I'm sure. Patrick eric talk circles around me but he fell for high up in a certain way died. I don't know exactly what happened. But i grew up watching stuff. Like when hulk hogan behaved like mr america. And there was like vincent van are vince. Vince mcmahon and the undertaker when brock listener was really big Eddie guerrero Crispin walk but a lot of these guys it's kind of nuts like oh and heartfelt who his death eddie. Guerrero died crispin wall killed. His whole family died like it's breathing. Razi shut the tap and Which is why. There's a great show called dark side of the ring but there's also really cool. Look at someone like johnson and how much make a wish that he's not you know there's also a really positive side all that as well And it also dwayne johnson ron right batista. It gives you. It gives you a lot of people that are now breaking out. Because i mean that's the thing with wrestling is that it's you know you have to be an insane physical good shape but also you have to be somewhat of a good actor you know. Don't have to be amazing. But you know i'm sure that the the dave teesta that was wrestling was not to save dame david teesta runner twenty forty nine. That's different guy you know. And it's the same different guy and garden galaxy But yeah i definitely grew up with it in the house. And i just i fucking hated it. I didn't like it I i was always more of like a boxing fan itself. But i understand like why kids like it and you know i guess i just don't understand why grown men would still appreciate it now. I'm just kidding Now there's there's a lot of stuff where like i get it the the i think that debate is wrestling. Fake as it's like dude. If someone is arguing that with you you just gotta walk away like it's not real it's it's entertainment is scripted entertainment but still people still die people can still still get very look fucking mick foley who played mankind. That guy has been through the that guy might as well have been jim. Caviezel stunt double and passion of the christ. He has been through the fuck and ringer doing his wrestling. So i definitely grew up within. I definitely have like a history a little bit. Who doesn't know andre the giant hulk hogan and ultimate warrior and stuff like that. But you know when it came to watching this. This movie is so fucking not about wrestling. You know there's just it's not. It's this this could be a guy who's a professional ice skater. This could be a guy who's a professional juggler. Or someone who's a great ventriloquist you know and it's you could be about but there's also something about wrestling where it's like the fit. It has to be wrestling because the physical the physical complications of it in. It's not something where like a lot of wrestlers. Don't you know a lot of wrestlers. Don't hit pro. And don't get to retire like johnson. Dave batista south. So you kinda get to see the other side of that of like these people who are still trying to make an still trying to break through I heard that. I think carlos and africa he said this was going to be in black swan. We're going to be a thing together like item. Yeah i haven't seen black swan. Black swan is outstanding. It might be my favorite movie of his seen two hours of it but the only twelve.

"So dumb dot is the reason that I putting those people in thi oh, baby. You know? Can we talk about the vaping mechanism for a minute? Yes. Boy is that it appears cumbersome to carry around. It's very big. No, well, some are like a pen, and then others are like a battery a huge battery pack suppose, it's no less taxing than carrying a pack of cigarettes in your pocket. I honestly, I don't really quite understand because the addiction is still there when you're shopping well, not necessarily because it contains nicotine, and that's what you're addicted to but a much lower level. You're not burning any carbon. That's the thing. It's the tar that's missing. But they're still carcinogens in these pens. Well, yeah. I mean, I would say don't do it. I think vaping. It's better than cigarettes. Right. I guess technically. But still not good. It's kind of like like reduced sugar or reduced fat diet coke doesn't mean necessarily good. Yes. Save here. We are knee-deep innovating conversation. There was a you know, the onion. I do the parody newspaper. Yes. They had a headline that read something like. Cheese officials confirmed that guy. Vaping in your office is indeed a Warlock from the future. Oh. You give me who you're putting in time out. Oh my God. Go to L dot com. Okay. And we'll link this up for everybody. You could see a lot more of these photos. It's so stupid L dot com. And there's a little flower girl in this picture. She's not. But there's a little flower girl standing while. They're all blowing smoke up into the air is. The trashy just L dot com. I know I'm there so Google vaping. You're not gonna believe your eyes wedding day photos. Notre hell, no. That's not pretty. It's not artsy. Guys. It is. In fact, just dumb, and then it says right at the bottom. Geez. L just going straight for it. Do you? Yes. Or no. I'm going to say, Nope. And see what the? Seventy six percent of those reading L in this article say, they do not vape. Good, okay. Are you throwing in time out? I gotta go find Dave bautisa. Dave, batista. Dave. Teesta parque. He was in guardians of the galaxy. He's very funny in guardians of the galaxy. Oh, yeah. He's the big burly. Yeah. Just says kind of funny thing monotone voice was pretty darn funny. He's he was surprisingly funny because when he wrestled in the WWE he didn't show that much personality. Really? Oh is that right? Yeah. He wasn't. He wasn't like ever heard of the rock. Yeah. I know that Dwayne the rock Johnson. Yeah. He was using personality every time he got near a microphone. He was entertaining. You didn't get that sense necessarily from Dave Bautista. "You know, there's when you go back rewatch, and you watch the shave Wiggham preacher character or in the Billy Tuttle evangelist character, and you see basically the cynicism and nihilism that that the Matthew mcconaughey. Character approaches all of the religious sort of infrastructure around that area with is just gonna like this is all bullshit leave systems are all bullshit at. It's basically like you see in the same way. Like, if it basically asks you to believe if there's such an elaborate system of religious belief like in nominally for the forces of good by proxy there needs to be the same one for the forces view, right? And that the these these two systems intersect in this place in Louisiana, and that the only person who can actually see it this guy Russ and he's gonna help his mardi see it as well. This season is almost more. I it's telling that it's like looking back at two thousand fifteen or two thousand fourteen when the first season. Erred because it almost feels like a narrator or an author trying to piece together a mystery story out of an unreliable mind. Yeah. And it's like what really is a mystery story. What really is a detective story when it's a detective who's not sure whether or not he's in any one given time line whether he can reliably depend on his memories of wife, children of the case of his partner of what he's done as we're going to keep seeing as we go through the season. So sometimes it's slow sometimes I wish Cary Fukunaga was directing. But I'm always thinking about this shit, which I'm not with other TV shows. Yeah. I mean, it's it's a great point. Because like in a lot of in a kind of grand sense, the big the central mystery of the season is purely centered on Wayne in his memory who is he and what did he do? It's less about the case. I mean, one of the theories that I really like that's out there on read it is that Wayne solve the case. He saw in. Ninety and wasn't able to prosecute it or bring it to Justice. And now has forgotten that he did it which would Hugh really fascinating turned. Yeah. I mean, we've already seen this guy show up in places how he got there. So it'll be fascinating to see. How it plays out in the second half of the season. The flat circle is actually going up on Friday. Right because HBO is putting out the episode of detective on Friday on go and on now on demand because super bowl's on Sunday. So you'll be able to watch us whenever you get gets detective. It's kind of fascinating that they're doing that. Because I wonder whether or not that's going to happen more and more in a post thrones world. Yeah. As they cut or maybe ramp up production to keep up some of these other streaming platforms like if. Oh, true detective season for just goes up as eight episodes all at once or like what I don't know if they'd ever do that. But it's pretty fascinating to watch them kind of changed the way they do things. I wonder who the first one, you know, whether it's net flicks. That decides that it's finally landed the game of thrones killer, and is like, okay, watch this. We're gonna do it once a week or once a month, whatever it is or whether it's gonna be HBO that with a smaller property is like what if we gave these to if we put crashing up all at once or something like that? Okay. Before we go any I talked a little bit about the Batman earlier about Matt Reeves and Aflac leaving the project, and who may or may not be the Batman. But the other big sort of franchise possibility that's been talked about a lot. This week is the continue the continue to cast Doun the spice must flow. So they have shallow may they've God's. Dia. The exorcist the omen output. Silence of the lambs up though. Those movies are definitely movies that scared the shit out of me. I mean, you know in paranormal activity when the person should standing there and times going and they're just like not moving so fucking good. All those movies, really, really write a horror movie together. I would love to do a horror movie, I feel a little scared to do a horror movie because I don't know how to do to do the real you could do it better than most of most feels magical to me like, you know, most movies, I watch and I learned and I'm like, all right?.

And I would I would go to battle with anyone of practice funny in this movies. He's so great. And he's funny. Anyway, I was big fan. Great dude years ago. But yeah, yeah. I mean, he's just so funny. And then in the adventures movie, some of the best stuff was was he and Robert Downey junior going out. Yeah. I know. I love that. Great. I love it and Bautista who knew you knew that guy was that fucking funny. Oh, man. It was one of the great joys for me is like 'cause I was there when Dave had his screen tests because I've worked with my brother for so long. He wanted my help with various things along the way. Right. And and so for a lot of actors screen tests. I I would read quill with the Drax 's more. An rocket with quills. Right. And so I got to see a lot of people addition and and Battista came in for a work session before before he had his green test. And he was like so nervous. And so quiet. Yeah. And I'm like, oh, man. This poor guy is just going to tank like he can't he's obviously this pressure is going to be too much for him. Right. And he's so good. He was so good. Oh, yeah. He's he's still that first movie in a lot of ways. He's so good. He's like great. And he and and he loves it. It's like it's like a perfect microcosm of the whole movie. Loves he loved the material. So so much yell, and like, I think he was so happy to to be able to play that role every day and like, and he was so grateful and so great to have around. And what is he like four or five hours of makeup of which he needs to keep his arms outstretched the whole time. Now, you know or stand during tons of it. Yeah. And like what what champion subtle? Sweet how how much he got your brothers back. Yes. That was great. He'll school to say. Yeah. I thought it was amazing. And I was not at all surprised to be honest. I hope Dave takes that as a compliment that like like, I've always known that. Davis is stand up of guys you'd ever want me. Like I could rely on that guy. He's trustworthy is anybody other reknown? And these these guys are really nice guys, you know, and I think they got a shot with meet the Spartans and it kind of like over perform. Like I remember it came in first in the box office that I was there opening on the first moves saw think by myself. Oh my God. It's funny I when I met Tiffany for the first time when she was after she read the oath sh I, you know, I was like, it's so great to finally meet you. She's like, we weren't meet the sparks together to. Time I forgot about that, but you know, and then they did a couple. And the reality is is they're super nice guys and they, it was. I kind of looked at that. It's kind of like kids movies, dirty kids movie. And at the time I was an actor who was like, oh, you wanna hire me. Oh, that's funny because I need to buy the ring for my wife. Funny how that turns out those super nice guys and I still get like, you know, young kids, we'll be like my first movie I moves I've seen, I'm like, oh, cool. But it's I hope to not do anymore impressions of other people in movies because I'm old. I think one of the most about the movie was Dane cook impression. 'cause we talk like a weird amount. I think for our podcast, big Boston tip to the barstool, right? You guys and he's, he's Mr. Boston. He's Mr. sports, but it Danes out there, man, you drive. If you go down sunset in LA, is he big billboards? Yes, doing stand up and crushing it, and he's still, he's still out there. But I, I remember doing his. Impression on mad TV, and I remember Bobby Lee introducing me to him like a couple of weeks later, and I don't think Dane was like eleven. Hey, how's it going. Hey, nice to meet you, but I'll tell you, I saw him at Dublin's in LA and it was you felt like you were watching like fucking like David Bowie and late nineteenth, like he came onstage and people were just like their heads explode. It was insane arenas. And just like in perfume pre arena before he was like Dan, he was just like he owned the LA. Comedy is such an interesting moment. Yeah. Shift gears again. Can you confirm that your character Griggs is going to return to sue sets to? I can't confirm it only because there's been by my count, like three different directors that have come on board for the sequel, but I will say out of all them, the one that excited me the most was James because James Gunn next question which excited to work with James go. I had not a lot of interest in doing suicide squad too small part, and I didn't. But like James Gunn I think is such a genius high would do anything that guys down. I love those guardians of the guest, so good. They're so good, and it's all it's like, so. Singularly from his mind. I know it's an existing IP cartoon and stuff. But like when I've heard they're making them because I've read the cartoon the comic, I was like, oh, that it's going to be a bomb weird. It's too fucking weird and he managed to make it super excessive oil and funny and like violent and like crisp, those I thought in avengers Infinity war, the best characters in the movie where per Chris and fucking Dave Teesta every line they had. I was like, it's hilarious, and that's gone was on on board with them to help the right their role? Yeah, exactly. So, you know, I thought what happened to him with shitty and I think you know, it would be very cool if he regardless of my participation, it's like the by the best case scenario for suicide squad too your part with small..

"I'm not sure how the concept still plays very well today because you know, father staying home and taking care of kids as much more commonplace than it was in the eighties at the time this movie was made. So I'm not sure how they're going to spice it up or make it feel more modern and contemporary. But yeah, it's it's, it's definitely something that you could easily see turned into a TV show. I don't know how the concept lens like you said, lends itself to today. One of my problems with incredible too was kind of this that it was kind of leaning on this kind of concept, and I felt it was kind of. Didn't feel new or different in any way, a bent yovany thoughts. I know you haven't seen mister mom. I have not seen this movie and I share the same concerns as you guys. Actually the the thing about incredible to not to completely derail this podcast. That's one of the things that I meant to bring up in this week's watercolor was one of my issues with that movie was the the way that mister incredible. It is like such a dick to his wife in that movie, and then you think that it's going to come back and he's going to have some sort of reckoning with the way that she is being treated. You know, like the the premise of that film is that she gets chosen over him to become like a Representative for the superheroes, and he is like, so transparently dick of in his behavior about how he wasn't chosen and you feel you you think that has to come back at the end of the movie and it just never does. So it's what that was just dropped. Plot thread. One of the one of the other reasons I. I didn't really care for that too much. Well, anyway, let's move on to our next story in that is that Dave Batista may be heading to finish the island, which I guess is being described as Westworld meets cabin in the woods bentos about it. Yeah. I mean, you say that with with sort of a weird Tony waste, but that combination Westworld meets cabinet woods sounds pretty intriguing to me. I never watched the TV series fantasy island. It was a popular show in the seventies and nine hundred eighty s and their Sony end blunt house are adapting it into a movie. And we know that Michael Pena is going to be playing the character of Mr. roar coups the the mysterious owner of this island and Ricardo Montalban played that character in the TV show. And now we know the date by Teesta is in negotiations to star in the movie as well. The premise of the film the film follows a group of contest, winners who arrive at an island hotel to live out their dreams only to find themselves trapped in. Nightmare scenarios. So Michael pains character sort of is lording over this whole thing. And if Dave Teesta ends up making this deal joins us cast, he's going to play a former guest who is still on the island against his will and who wants to expose Rourke and the islands, magical secrets. So yeah, I mean, like I said, the I sort of rolled my eyes when I heard that they're making a fantasy island movie because it's like, you know, yet another TV show being mind for a movie based basically solely on its name, but I have to admit that I'm kind of intrigued by all the elements here..

They've been good in bottom. The league was zero points, and their goal differential is minus seven. Pellegrini is already saying like, this is a must win, and I love it. I told you this to get done to get on this west hand on this West Ham, spiral train. Yes. Speaking of West Ham, though. Fucking what's his name? Dave Teesta the gardens of Gallic the galaxy go. Yeah, there's a new movie coming out called the final score and it looks awful you like. I mean, I would watch it one time. It'll probably be entertaining, but essentially Batista goes to a West Ham game and they're going to bomb and blow up the entire stadium while games going on to the whole thing is you have ninety minutes to figure out how to save all these people and take care of these hostages or the tire stadium will blow up. It's match going. Like a straight to DVD movie like his, but like Pierce Brosnan isn't it? And he has a sick beard. I'm serious and so look it up final score. We posted it on our Facebook and Twitter, the trailer. I it the the poster Instagram song. Is there a match going on? There's during. That's why it's ninety minutes. There's a match going on while Tista is running around killing guys and like trying to take down terrorists. I wanna put a caveat on this. I wanna. West Ham. I'm gonna. I'm gonna talk film director right here. This would be a more suspenseful movie than having Dave body stay k. is that his first name, Dave? Yeah. Okay. Everyone. Everyone else isn't pretty likely. They're like they went to the pre. They said, I wanna say something, but I went to play PR person. I said something that could be, you know? Yeah. But he said, I will have more to say. But right now, all I can say is this Jim's gone is one of the people. One of one of the most loving caring, good natured. People I've ever met. The animals thing was kind of came out of nowhere, but that's, that's the sign of a good people. Also, I mean, like to the Roseanne point, there were people that defended Roseanne to she.
