"It's like this poor woman like she said up at someone on a revenge mission and she's completely incompetent. Well actually this is another thing to Because she might have been good if he comes in behind her and grabs her and then that sort of what makes a raise the sniper which triggers the the fence things. So that she's so haven't bombed not intervened in that moment. Maybe she killed him and we'd have had a very short film What could have been what could have been. But then would. Jill have been killed if bonan hadn't been in the film if doing we're going full indiana jones. He technically he causes jill's death. Yeah that's a good question. Presumably goldfinger would still go through with his full knox scheme but see. I were already kind of onto him. So yeah yeah the just watching everything. He does apparently to make sense. But we can get into that. The last thing. I want to show out in terms of great stuff was all job about the guy who set the blueprint again for the henchman. Much is right. I think is fantastic. In from russia with love he was more almost like a second main villain whereas on job is definitely the henchman. Yeah i i really a kind of fascinated by odd job herald. Cicada is really strong and so we just as a presence. I guess physically strong as well but you have so many seats where he's just kind of smiling. He does so much with so little and yet i'm fascinated by the psychology this character. Who's more than willing to lock himself in fort knox with an atomic bomb and to make sure this bomb goes off. Like i would love to know the backstory. I want the prequel as to how the friendship between Goldfinger and began because boy boys our job loyal and isn't extreme isn't even in the future. You'll have like softbank questioning. I love the bit in octopussy. Have been there's got to go out onto the plane to tear bond dauphin. He questions old. He's like i'm going out But yeah no job is fiercely loyal and he did so much just to your point game i think he he has no lines the as a few grunts here on that yes such a great presence any needs to do anything and i think this series actually proves that anyone can do that like even. I don't think dave not stirs Specter even though. I like dave petit. Think he's really good acta. He didn't have that same level of character to him as a joke. Did he might be an awful of reasons for that. Beyond the just the actor. But yeah harold sakata job is just phenomenal. Is he the best tension of all time. i like. Joel's yeah. I know right. Jaws is the line the you always fall back on when people ask if i've jobs the best because jaws the one at least for especially like my generation still like. Oh my god. That's like the gold standard but You've got to alexandria and may day as well. Yeah yeah great ones. I sense a video. Coming on calvin got shut up..

Yeah, that's what they're saying is that there can be long term effects on the heart. And I'm thinking Well, damn, if this is happening to you for several weeks, that time I could see that being the case. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, it's the whole thing's insanity. Hopefully she's getting the help she needs and she's going through, but we don't have time. Unfortunately for her today, well, that's what he said. I was going to be playing. They said. We talked about her in this subject The past couple of weeks with her right soon check into a check in on her and stuff like that. Somebody did a wellness check on me this week and go for what then? Then they saw that I lost in fantasy football. Seriously. Yeah, that's good. The guy who beat me by 80 points is like just doing a wellness. Check out here like for what it goes. Execute euros. Yeah, real funny. Oh, Carl's calling. You wanna talkto I love Carl. Hey, uh, Carl. How's it going? Good. How you doing? Happy New Year, man. Happy. New Year's happy What? Why don't you cut some bumpers for Michael's showman you complaining about and you should cut now? He doesn't have we have production guy s so we get the stuff that we have. But hoppy can't do that for us. Yeah, Tony. Why not? Because He's just it's not. There's a protocol thing. He's just not. It's not under his thing. We don't want to get him in trouble. I love whenever I thing goes wrong. Everyone's like, why didn't happy do it? Because I don't know just telling you right now, But this is everybody they go. But why couldn't happy have done next? Here's the problem, right? You're on 18 hours every day. So everybody thinks that you have something to do with something which I had power. Yeah. Well that in his passing for the radio, I figure the opportunity to get his voice on the point for this thing, And that's why I'm proud of that. Good point. Complain how's everything with you know you're good? It was bad. I just head from everybody got drunk most. Um we'd didn't do it, Amy and watch the ball. Drop on TV. No cocaine. I mean, that was a banner year for you that right better night yet. Yeah. What? What was the drink of choice? Tequila shots, and then I got someone gave me a case of Snoop Dog wine. And I've been solely drinking that occasionally even I don't drink this. I don't know your age. I wanted guesstimating, probably north of 40. But do you remember 45 0 K 40? So this might be you might even be too young for this. There used to be back in the day Tequila brand called two fingers to kill A and it was all some hot girl in like a five high like, you know, gown and shone like stuff like that, as she the struggle is, Everybody enjoys two fingers to me. They go into the seventies. I thought that was a little racy even back then. Yeah, you know, depends on the strip club you're in. I guess. There you go, Carl. Thanks for calling me and have a good one. Hey, I had a quick hop get God. Happy. I was just checking. You still got your organs. Did you wake up New Year's Day and all the organs were there? She didn't take them. No, she didn't. I think you should keeper If she hasn't taken your organs by now, I think potentially, she's not using you for your media status. I think the coach clear man. I don't know if it was someone attacking, Drew, right? But you're right. So what you have to do is have the backbone. What? Kindness By not responding. No, that's not gonna make it from talk radio. You gotta you gotta be acerbic. You gotta go after people. No, because you're just giving him the time of day because Calista said it best, he said. It just pisses everybody off that they're alone. "So as for why how this you know comes to be what you know whether or not Mando has beef with because thinks he stole a mandatory armor whether Mando knows who Boba Fett is whether Boba Fett is still alive and maybe looking for his armor walking around, we make it somewhere. We. We don't know all this yet but it does. That, at least part of will be in the mandatory season two. I will say this like I saw videos popping up my youtube feed the day that the main learn trailer was released online like claiming owes boba fett hidden in the stroller. And I did not even click on them. I was like Oh. This is Click Bait. This is whatever when you put together this article Brad I like looked at the comparison images Like I don't know me and then like I started convincing myself that is it's at least the jetpack. Ben Have you seen this. Like I want to know your analysis of the situation like are we looking? Are we looking too much into this? Do we want to be in this show and we're like looking for him Yes, I'm sure. Yes. The answer is yes to that question, but I actually have the same exact thoughts. Brad. Where I think it does I just glanced at it, but it does to me look a lot like the jetpack. I do not think that's actually the helmet even though whoever put these images together as trying valiantly to make that case I'm not I'm not really sold on that, but it does certainly look like the jet pack to me. Yeah. The other thing I wanted to mention is the character that we see late into the trailer under the hood. WHICH TURNS OUT TO BE SASHA banks some people thought it was ver- Dawson the first appearance of a soak in the show but it's actually saucer banks who is a wwe wrestler What do we think about this Bradley? I've heard some rumors a lot of people think that she might be playing Sabine. Which you know first of all, her wrestling character, she often has like these really bright colored hair which Sabine has bright colored hair in star wars rebels. Sabine is a Mendel Orient So they're. In not just any middle or she's a in that once held the dark sabre, which is a big part of this this show and you know the show is about you know. And so. I guess it would make sense for Sabine to show up in the show at some point. So do you think Sasha banks explains to be I think that's probably just fans projecting like Sasha banks style onto a character that exists in star wars and hoping to she's playing but I mean, she's she's cloaked in this trailer end the when she's when she appears, it's mentioned when they're talking about taking the child back to the jet I. So I wonder if this character is some kind of messenger for. Any job that are still alive potentially a so Catano and I feel like it would be weird if it was being the are the first time we see this character she's not immediately recognizable unless they they're aiming for it to be a thing of where who is his character and then she liked at some point she throws on her helmet everyone's like, oh, it's the. But also seems weird that they would give like a character of like that's such a fan favorite character from the animated series they'd give that to a wrestler who has That you know. That much of a track record. Dave Petit Sta drax and you know that worked out. Great. So I, mean I'm not. I am not criticizing anybody forgiving or you know look at how far the rock has come, but it just seems like it's a big jump to give her some. You know another thing a lot of fans have noticed in this right? I'm not sure if you had this in your breakdown, but at one point x wings escorting or following the razor crests. Yes and some people have done some screen caps of that and apparently the. The iconography explain is actually read five x wing. So they they're saying that's Luke skywalker exway. That Track because I apparently I don't know I don't know we gotta do some more analysis on that but I don't think that's the case. Don't think like that. Luke Skywalker do you think we're. Luke skywalker in the show which sounds ridiculous that on the on the face of that sounds ridiculous. But this is about mentor and trying to get The child back to you know the Djeddai and There's literally only one known jet I in the Galaxy, at this point like even a soak, it's not A. Quote Unquote Jeddah at this point, right? Yeah I mean. I. Guess, not. Ridiculous Out I. Mean it's I. Don't think it would be in season two but do you think we'll ever see luke skywalker in the I mean. No I'm hold up on the EX, the ex marine thing because I mean he you You would think you would hold onto it. The entire time because we know that that's the ship that he takes to OC tube because he leaves, it crashed in the ocean until he raises it out of the water as a forest host for Ray A scene which I hate so much intensity. But. Yes. So I feel like for someone to be flying red five would be weird..

You got a secret life of pets to Annabel three toys story four and then amidst all those remakes and sequels and spinoffs there's gonna be some new original movies, like stupor stupor is an LA set action comedy kind of in the vein of lethal weapon that stars kumail nangiani, who you will know as the star and writer of the honor, biographical, romantic comedy, the big sick and it goes dark day. That seems like such a guy movie tactic masculinity in men talking about their feeling. Exactly, exactly. I was like, if we're doing a movie in twenty nineteen about angry dudes with guns. There is some really smart writing, I think baked into the banter between the two characters about race and about perception, especially when it comes to David Teesta, who not a lot of people know, is of Filipino. "What did you think of this? Oh, I I do want to highlight. There was a cool shot. I'm not sure if this isn't trailers of magneto like controlling a bunch of machine guns in the air. Yeah. It's a it's a really, yeah. What did you think of the footage? You know? I'm kind of lukewarm on the X men franchises a whole right now. I feel like even though they're bringing in Simon Kimber who's never directed. One of these movies before he's been like a a. Dominant voice in this franchise for a long time. And I would just prefer for them to wipe the slate clean. And it seems like they're they might be doing that afterwards. Whoever came out and introduces footage said something about this is the perfect epoch sendoff for our X men series. Which to me sort of implies like is the last time that you're gonna see this interruption of these characters, you know, and he also said like executor needs to get X men together for one final right mission to which also send us as well that this could be the last. Yes franchise the series. But like version terms of the actual footage itself. You know? I it looks fine. It looks better than x men apocalypse because that movie had like a really cheap look to it. And this doesn't look cheap the the visual effects, which is what a lot of people come to these movies for look pretty decent. You know to my what did you think about it? I don't know. I feel like the house a huge fan of the X men comics in the nineties and most of the stuff has rating was X men. The time, and you know, the dark Phoenix saga was one of the highlights of that. And I feel like I should be super excited. Listen for some reason, I'm not maybe it's I've heard about production problems. And you know, maybe I'm more excited about the X men finally getting to being MC you and. Does this really matter? It's kind of like, why would I watch these in two punisher when it's cancel you know, I it kind of feels like that. Maybe no, I think there's definitely a little bit of that. It'll be interesting to see if there's enough fans of this of James McEvoy and Michael bender, Jennifer Lawrence to actually come out and make this a huge worthwhile thing for dizzy. I mean, they've obviously sunk the money into spending marketing campaign trailers all that stuff. So they're not just going to dump this on Disney. Plus, but I don't know. And there was it was interesting. They put this time line on the screen that showed all the Walt Disney pictures releases for the next year. And it was early like this crowded time while of logos, you know, from left to right. And then they added the FOX films that makes it was like a jumble of a mess a lot of stuff. And I think they said like we might be shuffling some of these release dates around. Yeah. So I guess expect to see that. Pretty soon. So FOX also were hyping up. The what is the film called stupor? Yes. And this is the film that premiered at south by southwest. We did cover it actually worked quoted in the trailer that they showed here Meredith borders. I had a quote in here. This is the story with Dave Petit STA in Camille, Johnny and he plays in Uber. Driver, deputies to plays a police officer who needs to take over the Uber car first purposes, he he's like trying to solve a case. And he can't drive because he has like is surgery or something like that. Which I don't think they showed in the trailer. But that's the reason gets into an Uber is because he can't drive himself. Yeah. And they have this kind of relationship where I feel it kumail is playing like the week one the non roic and he's kind of being forced to go outside of his comfort zone in this situation. It looks like a lot of fun. I know people like the at south by. What did you think? So what's really funny? I'm excited to see the dynamic of these two together. There's a really funny moment where. Batista's characters fighting with somebody and non Janis Carter, Stu was standing there with a gun trained on them and Batista's like shoot, you know, you know, pull the trigger or whatever, and he tries and can't rose the handgun at.

"All right. Now, crystal, I already mentioned that Drax suffers from the acute case of what I call hawk man syndrome with multiple incarnations versions, etcetera. Now it's not nearly as bad as halt, man, but let's get this out there. So people listening who only know Drax from the movies. We don't want them to be confused. You know, again, guardians movie Drax is not comic Drax comics move. The comic book Drax originally would basically punt Dave Petit STA like through the wrestlemainia sign so hard that he'd probably be main eventing against hulk HOGAN in the garden in the eighties because comics drags came about when this guy a real estate selling saxophone player named Arthur Douglas died and was resurrected. Now he was resurrected by cosmic entity, known as Cronos Cronos is one of the gods of the marvel universe and. His spirit was placed in an artificial body and that body was built by a guy named mentor who is an eternal, and he is actually Fenosa father, and all of that was done with the goal of killing than OSE. So we remember from like the guardians movie how that Drax really wanted to kill Ronin, just apply that to fan OSE and it's the same idea in the app how it wasn't the comics. So since then Drax the destroyer has died and comeback, died and comeback. Sometimes he comes back stronger than he was originally and at the height of his power. He was probably easily like top three of the pure power beings in marvel like he could take on silver surfer, the hulk. He could destroy a star at this point is history. He's comeback from another resurrection. It was around two thousand six, the strength level dropped significantly. He can't fly like he used to. He can't fire energy beams from his hands. Like you used to and he's not as strong. So the Drax I'm arguing for at this point what the way he is in comics. Now, he also has some advantages that the others do not now he's still super strong. I mean, he's able to lift fifty tonnes easily. Other times he's been pressed to get more into the seventy five hundred range. So he's still a heavy hitter when the guardians of the galaxy, where recruiting new members, which was their two thousand six storyline when star Lord took over the team, he was selected as the muscle for the team. So even the downgraded Drax was the muscle and his real advantage aside from being a heavy hitter, it's really more impressive that he's got this durability and stamina. Now mentor the man who built and designed this heavenly body that he has. He wanted to create like the perfect biological weapon to kill his son Vano because he knew how horrible Thanos was and crystal. Mentor was the most brilliant man in the marvel universe. I'm pretty sure he was smarter than Reed Richards and the most powerful individual in the marvel universe. Aside from the gods is fan OSE. So Drax on his own. He's powerful enough in a body that's able to withstand powerful energy blast..

"So you would think that if these Sony marvel universe was gearing up to have Spiderman appear in all these movies, he would have appeared briefly in venom, and as h c rights article, I, it would be kind of hilarious if Spiderman showed up in a craven, the hunter movie, but didn't show up an event movie. Yeah, I don't see marvel studios going along with us at all either. I mean, it's not like venom, probably gave them any confidence in what Sony is doing with their Sony marvel. Sony marvel universe the curdle SMU SMU okay. Let's move on. Let's talk about Rambo five, which is a now has a title crystallised butter. Yes, so so that's our Sologne is in the midst of shooting Rambo, fi where Rambo looks like a cowboy now, and the movie is titled officially Rambo, five last blood, and this makes sense because the first Rambo movie is called first blood actually doesn't even have Rambo in the title is just called first blood and Rambo to is called Rambo, first blood part two. So it looks like the series is now coming to an end with this film which has Rambo taking on a Mexican drug cartel. So. Make make of that, what you will. I a bad feeling? This is not going to turn out that well, but we'll see. Yeah, I think they should remove the five from the title. It's cleaner, though ram. It's it's a bit clunky. Rambo, last blood would work a lot better, but I guess not. I do like that title as much as I'm sure I'm not gonna like this movie bullets move out. Next story in yesterday we talked about James Gunn, possibly writing and directing a second suicide squad film, which might or might not be a sequel. We don't know now Dave Petit STA who was obviously Drax the destroyer in guardians, galaxy is now campaigning to star in the movie bend house. But yes. So he basically this story is that he debut teased a shared an article that revealed Ben information about James Gunn coming potentially coming on board suicide squad too. And he said, where do I sign up? So. Like we we, there's nothing, you know, super serious involved here, but it would be really entertaining to see Dave what he said, make the jump from some moral university of the DC university would certainly not be the first actor to to make that jump. But he so of course, has been very, very vocal in his support of James Gunn ever since gun was fired by Disney and he was, you know, he, he's basically been the most. Vocal of the guardians cast in support of his director because and for good reason, James Gunn took a chance on him and gave him the career that he has right now. Obviously, Batista was a wrestler beforehand, but you know, there are some big name. People who are additioning for Drexel, destroy our remember seeing photos of Jason momoa from game of thrones trying out for that role and gun ended up liking what it was doing with that part. And that role has completely changed his career trajectory. So it's not surprising that you would be so supportive of of his friend and director. So I don't know Peter, do you want to see Dave Teesta in suicide squad too? Well, I don't even know what's what James gun suicides quite is, but I can imagine the Petit stays logo like that feels like it would be a perfect fit, but I want to ask you, like, I know we've had people jump from marvel DC. DC to marvel in, you know, the acting world in the past, but we've never had an have not had anybody appeared both of the world's at the same time. But I, I mean, like while they're still a big part of a big franchise in marvel appear in DC. I can't think of anybody off soft my head. And I know I'm probably wrong. Yeah, I feel like it would be somebody's small. It would be like a, like, I know it's not. It's not Ray Stevenson, but it would be somebody like that, you know, like not necessarily one of the the primary members of any of the casts question. I just wondering if there's like a contract that will prevent him from being in DC production while he's, you know, still headlining, guardians, galaxy films. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know if they have some sort of exclusivity clause or or something like that. That's if anybody out there was an entertainment lawyer right in and let us know I'd be interested, but.

"He did an interview with a paper and he confirmed at least you know, as far as he knows that Disney and marvel are indeed going to use James Gunn script whenever gardens, galaxy three happens. There's still no word on when that's happening. And last we heard from Dave Petit STA it's it's pretty much on hold indefinitely. So at at this time we don't know when it's going to happen, but when it does happen, they are going to still use James Gunn script which he turned in just a little bit before he got fired. Do you think this is like a little disingenuous of Disney? Because you know, they deemed James Gunn his past to offensive to keep them employed as director, but they're willing to, you know YouTube script on the next movie. Oh, yeah. Well, I mean, I think the whole situation is a bit ridiculous, but I also think there's probably like a contractual thing that I don't know. Maybe they couldn't get out of the contract for the script. I really don't know. But. I mean, I don't want to get into this whole thing again because I feel like is to death, but this whole thing is a mess and it really should have never happened. Yeah. I just wonder what kind of director is gonna wanna come in indirect James Gunn script because I feel like so much of that movie was you know the direction, the feeling the tone, the comedy, everything was just so much 'em in, especially going off script if you weren't completely going from scratch and doing your own thing. You know, it's gonna feel a little. I don't know that I'm just a very skeptical HD of any thoughts. What I wonder is since Disney made a whole big show at a fire James Gunn at didn't want his name associated with the brand. Are they going to credit him in the movie since it is his quits? Well, you know, I wonder if that's gonna like have some implications or whatever later on. I don't know who knows? Well, they are a registered signatory so unless they drastically changed the script, I. I think I forget the percentage of what the story beats and stuff is, but it has to be dramatically changed. He would not e there's no way to get his name off that. And even if they dramatically change it, he would still get a story by credit unless they completely threw it out and did something completely different. So yeah, it is weird. It's very strange blitz move on to Michael Moore's Fahrenheit, eleven nine, which hit the theaters this weekend in tons of people win sought now that it nobody shot itchy, tell us about it. So Fahrenheit, eleven nine, which is sort of his the Matic sequel to Fahrenheit nine, eleven the Bush era anti-iraq war documentary that made waves and went on to become Michael Morris, bestselling documentary ever and and the best selling documentary ever for an high above. Nine didn't do quite so well, it opened only three million. Dollars in one thousand seven hundred in nineteen theaters, which is actually a very wide release for documentaries, very few documentaries, get that kind of wide release. And while third height, eleven nines, opening numbers are actually pretty good for documentary. It's disappointing for in terms of Michael Moore's whole catalog and has been sort of the another indicator of his downward influence at the box office. Jamine three million. I mean, honestly documentaries don't make that much at the box office. If this movie were only make three million, it would still be in the top sixty documentaries of all time. But this is far dropped from his past efforts, especially in this world seems like at least everybody in my bubble is so up in arms at the current administration in what's going on. Why do you think people did not go to this one? So the earlier of us for this movie, we're kind of mixed, but mostly positive saying that was really powerful film, but a little all over the place at dealt with a series of issues and not just Trump as it was reported to initially a target in the beginning. And I think that was partly the reason. But a lot of other critics have said that perhaps it's because we're just tired of Trump and we, we see him, you know, twenty four, seven on our. TV screens and every every day and people don't wanna revisit his rise and his current sort of administration because we're already so inundated with everything Trump wise and it's also kind of Michael Moore's falling influence as well..

"Can you ask them? If I can go through there? You know patio. And he asked the guy living there. Imagine Dave Petit STA he looks like drags, he has huge muscles, whatever, and he's like, sure. Yeah, no problem. It looks to me. I look at him. He looks mean it's very clear that he knows the. I know he knows that I'm not able to jump over these. Health all of these. They're not the tall, but like it's just, I mean, they're totally five. They're they're not like fences where you can climb up them. Yeah, you're like bear barriers. Does that make sense in also where like five, six floors from the ground? Oh no, it's it's right next to the ledge. I, it's, it's not whatever in. I'm like, you know, I've been outside, I think for maybe an hour at that point, sweating. And I think it was clear that he knew that I wasn't doing it. So he's like, I got it. And he, he, he went, jumped over my my fences and. And he saved my life. He's my hero Drax the destroyer. I mean, not actually Drax, but you know my neighbor. So anyways, I apologize to my TV sci-fi actor neighbor that Drexel, the destroyer illegally cut through your patio to let me in, but. Had to be done, had to be done. Okay. Anyways, guys, I thought people would get would would would enjoy that story. Yeah. Anyways, house allowed story Peter. Okay. Let's let's get into the mailbag. We have a bunch of stuff to read because we haven't gotten into the mail bag and a couple of weeks now. And I think most of these emails are self explanatory, so I, I'll just read through them. And at the end, we'll see if there's any comments, but leeann our rates in because a couple of weeks, backdoor talking about this run p. app, which is at that lets you know, when is a good time to go to the bathroom during a movie and also tells you what's happening while you're in the bathroom. We kind of, I think all mocked that app we end our wrote in wanting to give short defense of the run p. app. She has a friend who was a girl who notoriously would take bathroom breaks at least two during films. By the way, I would not go to the movies with this. Not not leeann, but her friend I, that would just be bugged me too much. But anyways, they got her the run p. APPA in prevent, you know, then we didn't have to recap it for when whenever she got back and helped out in her movie going experiences with their friend. So I, I guess this run p. app, you know, does have a purpose and also Matt be wrote in from Tacoma, Washington. Also in support of the run piano up. He calls with fantastic app says he understands that not all people need it for the people are Shen. However, the run portion in run p. is a small part that recaps the first three minutes of the film in case you were running late. Now I could see the benefit of that, and he also says that the best part of the app is not promoted. They include whether or not there are anything post credits. If the, if there is the, they'll give an opinion on if. It's worth staying around for without giving any spoilers actually, I'll stop here itchy Ben. Do you think that is something you might use. I just don't trust anybody to tell me whether, you know, I don't. I don't trust anybody else's opinion. Basically, like I if I'm there to see the movie, I wanna see it for myself. I'm not interested in what somebody else thinks about if I will get any value out of something that's after the credits or or even like, I don't trust somebody else's synopsis of the first three minutes like they may give you the basic facts, but they're not. They might not give you the fact that one character shot. Another character certain look that will you know flavor their emotional relationships, the movie, you know, place on, there's just so much. Yeah, it might work in the. Just just to know if there's something there or not. Yeah, I don't know. I feel like I feel like maybe this would. I mean of course, we're, we're in like a more of a a different position than the average run p. user, I think because we for the most part, we pretty much know if there are those credits scenes..
