"Bridgewater in trouble. Stefan way ball is caught and inside. The yard line is wait on and into the end zone with the denver touch. Now you gotta be kidding me. Dave logan on the broncos radio. They couldn't have been more lost like he doesn't even know what's going on touchdown with scoring ten seconds. And you weren't gonna okay. So that's alberto who shook off an earlier fumble in the game terrible fumble scoring like by on. Maybe the biggest play of the game. They're broncos went twenty seven thirteen not as close as the final scored indicate giant score on the final play of the game. Garbage time touchdown. This was a a denver. Beatdown who could have seen a common ken barclay. May it was me. That's odd combination because the giant stink. That's a fair point. I i don't know if i necessarily saw this coming. I mean we can talk about the two quarterbacks in this game obvious usually a good place to start. But in this game i think particularly important on the balance of the denver which was excellent like we. We have to remember like even. If you don't think bridgewater's awesome we would do every recap for every denver game last year and it would be like well drew lock eight for twenty one and they got twenty four. Nothing at halftime like every game with drew lock was exactly the same. Get down a million touchdowns maybe he would back door the game. Maybe he wouldn't they would always lose and at least even if you don't think bridgewater's that go that's at least not what this is like. Thought he looks pretty good. They'd really balanced with the running game. Gripe thought he looked really good. Actually i thought one of the best games. He's played in his career. Sure yeah i mean. I guess that's possible obviously jerry. Judy go down. And he's still effective despite losing judy who ends up getting carted off the field. So you have the balance for the denver offense clearly pick bridgewater over drew. Lock vic fangio. You know round of applause for that one and probably wasn't that difficult of a decision and then like for daniel jones is just. It's just the same thing. And i just want to reiterate this like the the one thing. That's predictive year to year with quarterbacks more than anything else is turnover rate so he throw out interceptions or you fumbled the ball a lot especially in the first couple years of your career. If you do that. You're always going to do that. They're very rare that a quarterback. Just changes straights. When it comes to how frequently they turn the ball over so like daniel. Jones turns the ball over more than anyone else. It can't be surprising that in the season opener in like a pretty big spot when he's driving the team down the field. I didn't give it on two touchdowns at the time turns the ball over via fumble on like a as rostock or said the most classic daniel jones play of all time. So you know not surprising outcome you know. Obviously i don't think jones is going to be able to shake the turnover issues. And yeah i mean bridgewater could to a certain extent. Be the answer or at least even if it's not the answer..

"Um and 94 1 happy them. Back before the Broncos kick off the regular season against the Giants. I'm Dave Logan. Now, this week's pregame conversation with Broncos head coach Vic Fangio, so they can. Obviously this is the opener and I think everybody is excited about that. I think back to when I was a player. I mean, the opener just has sort of special significance because camp is over or you're back into the swing of things regular work week and Uh And I think I would. I would guess coaches are the same way. What kind of week have you guys had? Get ready for this giant scape? Yeah, It's been a good week. It's unlike you know, the other weeks. Bloody too! One of the reasons it's unlike any other weeks, as if knowing about this man your opener since something whenever they announced it may So you've watched more tape on your opener than you will for any game. You play the rest of the season going if you're Fortunate enough to get to the Super Bowl. You know, you've just inundated yourself with watching these guys and and everybody wants to get through camp. You know, it's a necessary evil. In building your team and building the player's abilities. But everybody wants to get to this first game. So there's that little extra excitement, whereas next week it starts being a seven day cycle. This one's been along one. Yes, no doubt about that. Let's talk a little bit about the Giants, uh, and again in the opener. You're not real sure what you're going to get. But if you look back to what they did last year, they had their struggles on offense, but defensively This was a really good team. In fact, you guys were first in red zone efficiency as a defense. They were second. They were good against the run. They were good in terms of points allowed. I believe a top 10 defense. I mean, it's a defense that played pretty dog gone well last year. Yeah, they really did. They're big upfront. Got a couple of really good defensive lineman. They got some real active safeties and good corners. They've solidified their corner.

"Are back on Dave Logan getting ready for the Broncos opener against the Giants. Now we have a chance to take a listen to my recent pregame conversation with the Broncos starting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. So, Teddy, I know you've got to be excited. First game of the season, your first game as a starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos. How have you sort of processed all of this this week? I mean, it's not your first rodeo, but certainly your first one here in Denver. Yeah. I'm definitely excited about this opportunity that you know, um, is in front of me, but You know, it's not even about me. It's about this team. This organization trying to get This training rolling? Um, you know, we have a ton of guys who are returning to action who can't wait to get out there. Guys have worked extremely hard since the spring and all summer, So it'll be great to just get out there on Sunday and We'll get out there and compete. And, um, you know, watch us, you know, try to do the things that we did well, all spring and summer. Obviously, it's the first game for both the Broncos and the Giants. So all we have is Last year to compare but the Giants even though they struggled last year, they were actually pretty good on defense. They were top 10 defense in terms of points allowed and also rushing yards and they finished 10th. I believe in the league and take away so it's a defense. That I say is opportunistic and has had some success with that core group. Yeah, definitely. Um When you're playing well, like that on defense and stopping the run, taking the ball away, you know, Eventually things start doing working your favorite as a team, but for us, we just want to make sure that we go out then. You know, be physical run. The ball will protect when we pass the ball and you know, uh, protect the ball Don't play to their screams. Um, and eventually we do all those things. We'll give ourselves a chance. How do you as the starting quarterback and a guy that's been in the league for a minute? How do you balance the idea of being aggressive and trying to make plays? Which obviously help you score points. And yet on the other end of the spectrum, you want to take care of the football. You want to make sure you don't put your defense in a bad position. How do you balance that as a starting quarterback? I think you just for me. I just let things happen. Organically. Um, no. Throughout the course of the game, you know, you may be hitting those eight yard completions, 12 yard completions, five yard completions and then You know, Coach may call one of those places where it's like, Hey, man, no matter what we want to be aggressive battlefield, So it's just one of those deals where you stay within the system. Um You know, but they there is a time in the game where you may have to just Hey, man, I need you to make a play. I got to make a play and you know, we we just say, forget it. We're gonna make this play. No one's going to stop us normals going to bet on the way, but But most parties just let it happen. Organically. Welcome back and continue our conversation with the Broncos starting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. First these messages. This is the K away Broncos radio network covering.

"There were so much prohibiting that because of the just the daily grind of the the co bid protocols and everything hanging over us you know. I think he was asked today. Maybe i asked him if he's out of conversation about kovic with his team and he goes no. We talked to the guys that are unvaccinated. he goes but otherwise. We didn't really talk about it. Like you had a separate meeting for the handful of guys that haven't gotten their full vaccinations yet and there was a handful because you could see. They had their mass with them. A couple of guys outta monitoring stretch couple of other guys kind of tuck them away But we'll see how that all plays out all right before. I let you run you. Also jerry judy on and that can be a little. We'll call it a hit and miss at times when he's interviews. Just kind of a quick talker. That doesn't always necessarily give the the long most dot answer is just part of being a kid and all of that to some degree but how he when he was on you guys and somehow my name got mentioned as well. Yeah well he was. Good dave logan and i Interviewed him and and he said all the right things He mentioned The drops that he had last season in that he was really disappointed in how that went and he said the number. One thing he's been working on is His hand strength And you know. There's a lot of contested balls in the nfl which is probably a little different than what he had it. Alabama answer And so it sounds like he was working on what would be considered his his main weakness. it felt to me like he's got a little chip on his shoulder that he's got something to prove which is fantastic. Which is a great thing. Oh the kathy. Lee brought up She said yeah She said that Jerry judy's been working with brandon at a speed camp in miami. And i said crystal and everybody looked at me like what also me dave and kathy got a good laugh out of it. I guess you had to be there. It was perfect. Timing like like jerry judy's working with you separate speed camp. Go through your name to the conversation. Man i'm i'm helping you build your brand absolutely you know what i'm a. I'm gonna let you run. And here's what i'll do is the second that you hang up. I will for broncos daily podcast listeners. Drop that right in. So they'll be none-the-wiser will take me a minute or to find it but the second we get done chatting here just a few seconds. "Baseball in college was wrong. Pretty good. At least you can throw the ball. Although how old was he? When he made that first pitch he had to be 60 something? Yeah. Give it a Yeah, I would think. You know, As you get older, you tend to lose your arm a little bit Just unless you're Dave Logan. Game still got the heat. Dave's got that bad shoulder. He couldn't throw a pitch right now. You know that one he heard in that fall. I thought he does He throw right or throw left throws, right? Hits left. I don't think so. I thought that's we had, didn't we have this discussion He throws writes hits left. He might. But I know his right hand. He was 55. By the way, George 55. Okay? Yeah, that's not bad. No, he wasn't that old. Who? George W. Yeah. 55 55 when he threw out the first pitch. Yeah, yeah, no back to Dave Logan Know he's He's got a bum shoulder right now. Oh, yeah. If they asked Dave to throw out the first pitch, that's true. I forgot about his little axe. He wouldn't be able to do it right now. Maybe like a year. He had that shot at the Nuggets game Was it two years ago? They gave him a free throw a nail it for like it was for something, and he missed it. He still talks about these upset bothers him. Still, it was on TV. Oh, yeah. I felt bad for him. I was watching, like, Oh, man. I know he's gonna hate that the next time I see him, uh and we get into something and be like I'll shoot your free throws for it. You know what he'll take you up on? You will and then you'll probably hit them all like of a basketball player. That's why it bothered me at free throws. I just think as a basketball player, so all right, let's get a break here. 10 26. The l A clippers. Gosh, did I mean miss on that game? Me too? I had I made two different bets. All of them parlays, including the sons winning. I hit in all the other bets, And then the sons lost. You know, we call that Rick Do you call that loss? Yeah, it was the loss loss. That's how sure I was. I was the sons were going to win. I included that in every one of my parlay plays. Yeah. I mean, I'm not. I can't blame you. I I I thought Phoenix Would win as well. Had said the day before that Paul George was a really good player in the league, but Not in my estimation superstar. He was superstar last night 15 for 20 from the field. 41 points, 11 rebounds. And seemingly nobody From Phoenix could guard anybody. Yeah, it's like they they took the night off. Um And speaking of Paul, George, he got called out during the broadcast by Mark Jackson. Well, I mean, I I, uh Yeah, and I thought it was appropriate. He didn't I mean, it was sort of lackadaisical with the ball. He was half and he just It's like, come on, man, that he had a great guy. Oh, You think somebody at halftime said. Hey, man, What are you doing? You're sleepwalking through this game. You've got the announcer The national TV announcer Mark Jackson calling you out. Do you think somebody told him that? No. During the game, Maybe somebody halftime said, Come on. Hey, we need more from you in the second half. And he certainly delivered. I think it would be highly unusual to mention anything that is said on the broadcast, because, frankly, they don't care. Good or bad. I mean, the players don't care. No, I guarantee you someone told him by now, now sure, after the game, for sure, for sure. But Um I'll tell you what. I don't. I still think Phoenix can win the series and they certainly should win the series. They were up three games to one. That's 32. They've got some matchup issues with Clippers there. They've got to figure a way. Phoenix has been a really good defensive team all year long. Not last night. I mean, they got they got basically taken to the wood shed and without Chris Paul in the game. They're in big trouble because Devin Booker is not either make good decisions with the ball in terms of, you know, kind of running the offense. Devin Booker's that come off the screen guy and I saw a guy excellent score. He's not. He's not at least at this point in his career, a point guard that facilitates he gets up in the air and throws the ball away. So, uh, I don't know. I mean, I think it's gonna be. It's gonna be interesting. About Marcus Morris and, uh, DeAndre or DeMarcus cousins off the bench last night. 22 points for Morrison 15 for cousin who woke up, Morris. I don't know. You know? And and honestly, the Clippers couldn't miss. They were shooting lights out if they if they shoot like that. The rest of the way they're going to win the next two games. I just don't think they will. This shot 55% from the field. Hello?.

"Football, and you're Savagely burning them with the same play call. Tell me after you connect on that play, and the kids going to go into the house that You're not laughing from the sideline. These guys have got to feel like, Oh, my coaches, man. You know my coaches on the staff. It was like, man. Nobody's gonna fall for that. I say they're going to fall forward every single time. It didn't work one time because that coach had seen me call that play earlier in the year. And so I talk I called time out. But all but one time it worked because, you know, told just won an advantage, you know, and one of the things that I loved about Um, coaching youth. Football was when there was an injury on the field. And most of the time. It was really minor. I never luckily I never had a major injury to my guys. Um While while we were playing But you know when you are young and somebody tag you pretty good. You know, you tend to lay on the ground and and and and cry a little bit. So it was always it was all my always my deal. No matter who's player was on the ground. Everybody taking me everybody take a knee, but I also went out with the other coaches to just to make sure everything was good. That's take anything I think is so Uh, such good sportsmanship, right? I I mean, I mean, half the time it's before You know if the guy just looks like he's in pain, guys start taking any right away, right? Right. So I'd get out with the guys and make sure they won't. Cassie. What happened? You know, my my arm. My arm hurts. I'm like, okay, Okay, okay. Okay, So this is what we're gonna do. Okay, You lay on the ground until you feel nice and good. I'm gonna tell you what's gonna happen. And you get up. You're gonna run off that field. Everybody's going to clap for you. Okay? When they're done clapping for you, you say off the field one more time. One play, and then you come right back into the game and who hits you? Said. We don't call the plate for that guy. So you got a chance to blast him back. Oh. Oh, man. I had such a good time. You know, I was watching this. I was looking at this list of all time Greatest high school coaches. And I just knew I was going to see Dave Logan's name. Are you kidding me? I mean, he's at the top of the heap. Some of these coaches Joe Joe have been coaching 40 50 years, right? I mean, they've been coaching 60 years and they've had 20 state titles and you know, just just this decades. They his name wasn't on there yet on this list that I was looking at, But I know it's going to be on there because of the success that he's had. But I think about all of these, Um all of these incredible coaches, man that have impacted so many lives. You know, I had one of my buddies. Uh, yoga told me, he said, you know, you don't have to change the world. You just have. You just have to change one person's life, You know, like if you just change changing one personalized One person life will change the world. And then I said, Well, you know, you can have a bigger impact. Then I start thinking about all of these coaches, man that we've enjoyed over. What was your high school coaches? Name? Oh, Coach, Rose. Could you ever forget them? No, no, no, no, no, no, no, You couldn't because he was, uh Yeah, as coach Rose in football and coach Brown Coach Brown for basketball and you know, Coach Rose. Coach Rose was that was the PE teacher. Of course. So he out there all through high school. And coach Brown was the speech teacher. Oh, and you and him got along. Famously crush the game in speech class, because you know what A lot of people don't know is that I've been talking on the radio since I was 11 years old. My dad was in the radio business, So I I came up that way, Right? Crushed that class. So you know when you're 16 17 18 in high school, I'm like I've got five years in just that was not a thing. That was an impromptu him prime to speech where you just have a topic and you have to go up there and Basically, pontificator had that down, right? Um and then, uh, the assistant coach, um, Coach Gaines was the typing teacher. And he just he took he took no guff. That was the worst class of all time was typing when you see what because he Because in practice, he would remind you of something that may have happened in typing class. You know, you know, how about pay more attention And you doing typing Turnbow? Things like that, maybe, like, Oh, hey, man I had that's great man. I had my my freshman year. This was my initial year playing high school football. Had, uh my, uh, my defensive coach was coach. Excuse me. My basketball coach was coach David now Coach David Was my math teacher. Uh, and he was no joke, not cutting any slack. Was the star basketball player on our freshmen team straight gave me a D because that's what I earned, right. But I didn't know that this guy was so accomplished as a teacher because I would have him for Like advanced math classes as I got older, And then once I found out that I could go to college on a scholarship, I start paying attention. And we became fast friends, man, And I mean all the time through high school. You know, I'd see him. I could I could I could still visualize. That coach, you know, just in the hallway every night and then on his way, because most of the coaches in my high school worked in the PE department except coach David Coach David was a math teacher. And and because of his help, man, I was able to get into the University of Colorado. And so I mean, my map numbers were strong for my S A T. And I just will never forget that I guarantee you if we open this up, uh, to to the callers out there, I guarantee you I don't care how old you are. If You played high school ball. You will remember the name of your coach and I want to see how far we can go back. See if we can get somebody on the line who may have played high school ball 40 or 50 years ago or 60 or 70 years ago. I just want to hear from the audience about The guy. What was your high school coaches Name And where did he teach in? The schools cannot say to send the text line at 5669. Oh, and coming up next. Alfred asked for this. By the way coming up next, we are going to catch up with Matt, right? Matt has been on naked and afraid, XL. That's right. Okay, He's been on it by the way, Coop. How many times as as as Matt right been on naked and afraid, because he's a He's a multiple time guy, right? Yeah, He's multiple times he's actually from Denver. So he's got local ties here, so we're going to talk to him next. It'll be fun and the finale of naked and afraid, by the way is Sunday on the Discovery Channel, So he joins us next with Big Alan Joe Joe on K Away News radio also want to remind you coming up? "That's the I mean, That's the great unknown. Yeah, he's shown signs throwing the ball of having really significant arm talent. But I mean, you're gonna base you know you're gonna base feeding your family on that and that That's what this comes down to for. From the coaches stand point in being able to To win next year and being able to stay here and move forward. And, um you know, we'll see. We'll see exactly what happened. So you are of the mind that they will make a hard push for Stafford. I'm of the mind that they will do more than just kicked the tire. I think they will. They will take a good long look at it. I don't know how George Payton nor Vic Fangio feel about Stafford, right? I mean Fangio, coach for the Bears for a long time had to come up with game plans two times a year to Deal with Stafford. Peyton was in the same division. Um, s O. I don't. I don't know personally, how they view messed effort. I'm just talking about how they view the quarterback position currently in Denver. And I would have to think that and I've said this before. You know, you come to the conclusion that for whatever the reason next year we if you're one of the coaches cannot give the ball away as much as we did this year. We're dead last in the league and everybody's going to get fired. So I say if they I think you I think he also though you've got to kick the tires on Watson and see what the price tag is my love to Shawn Watson. I mean, I don't think that I don't think they're in play there, but Oh, I'm I don't know if yeah, I mean, I don't know if realistically there and play, but I think you e think you at least make the call up and say 74 376 year protests and petitions for high school football. None of that is occurring. But the nuggets of the ads Uhh! I suppose, as far as like getting a deal done between comic Oh, I see. Yeah. Maybe. I just think I mean, there's a there's a real business side to the Comcast altitude situation that I'm not sure is equivalent on the high school level. 719361 unless I misunderstood him. Albright feels like there's a strong possibility of Stafford in the Niners would be a great fit in Shanahan's offense with those weapons. I completely agree completely. And I said this and again you've listened to the show for any length of time immediately following the Super Bowl of last year. Was the last year the Niners play the chief CIA. You know, watching the game and then going back and looking at the tape of the game. You know, in the NFL. You only get there so many times, right? I mean, you forget just Super Bowl. You have to maximize your opportunities. San Francisco had the right game plan defensively. They just had a quarterback that with four or five plays easy place to make. I'm not talking about spectacular plays. I'm talking about a place where you just have to see it and trust it and throw it. Rapallo was nowhere to be found folded. I mean, it was that performance and I think he's a good player, but that performance to me if I'm Cal Shanahan and or John Lynch Can't get that performance out of my mind moving forward, And if I have a chance to get a better player, I'm going to get a better player. Larry Scott is going to step down. Or did we as the Pac 12 commissioner? No, we didn't. We never talked about it. I think that we've had Larry on the show before. But if you look at his body of work, and he looks strictly it this year. In the Pac 12. Uh, was a non factor in so many different ways with respect to covert 19. They were late to the party. They were late Get the season started. They became a league that was not relevant. Um And I think you have to look to the leadership of the league in that regard, and I think they have. I don't think they have a good TV deal. He negotiated the TV deal. I have nothing against Larry personally, but You know, I believe he's been the commissioner for 10 years and in that 10 years The Pac 12 has become More irrelevant every year. So you're not gonna beat us this one thing you're not going to be too said you know what? It's one thing that I gladly acknowledge you're glad. I think you know what you are much better, much better at 5 30 in the morning that I would be Yeah, we have the We have the inauguration on what Three different networks here. Watching people file in For some reason, Alex Rodriguez is there just want to report that? Yeah. They just showed him on TV. And that's because J. Lo is performing. She performs. She is okay. We were wonder. Why is a rod there? Yep. I've seen most inaugurations. I'm trying honestly trying to remember back Is it common for? Music music stars to perform at the this part of the inauguration. I think so. I know they do it in a night celebration of the week of the inauguration, but I didn't They've been my memories. Well, you said you heard Garth Brooks was gonna be there. And I know that Tim McGraw and Tyler Hubbard from Florida Georgia line are performing their song undivided that they just that just came out. I got asked to perform, so okay. Performs, and I'm not trying to stir the pot here. I just don't remember who performed at President Trump's inauguration, which I do not remember. I don't remember any musical and I'm not saying that. I just don't remember. I mean, I can't tell you who performed at President Obama's Inauguration looks like inauguration. Donald Trump was Lee Greenwood. Okay. Uh, I don't know. I didn't see it was Toby Keith. Looking to see who else was on it. And that was the day of the inauguration. I know they do. They have all sorts of festivities the week of right I know there were performers because President Obama I mean the Democratic nomination. Or the Democratic, not caucus. But their celebration was here in Denver says on the evening of January 19th of the inauguration, it was America Make America great again. Welcome celebration. Concert for his supporters. The concert held on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. Where was Lee Greenwood? Toby Keith, three doors down DJ Rabbit drums and the piano guys. So that was on the Like The morning of the The evening of January, 19th was inauguration that 19 flusher. Okay, So so maybe I mean some of these stars they're going to perform tonight. That makes sense. That that would make sense to me. I just don't remember what I remember watching the coverage of I mean, just about every single inauguration. That I can remember. I just don't remember musical stars. Performing during this part of it, but maybe tonight there'll be a big shindig. You wonder if you could have a big shindig right now. With covert well true. I see most of them were gonna be via zoom on What I thought, too. There's a lot of people. I'll tell you. What there's a lot of people there. There's more people here than I thought to have anything in there a bunch of old people A lot of these. A lot of you didn't think in the old people were going to be allowed. I didn't know if they don't know. I just I'm a little surprised that you're seeing a bunch of old people. Better that air gathered very close together in a lot of them, hugging each other and wonder if all of them have been vaccinated. Don't know. You know, these are probably the Elite of Washington D. C. I would imagine, And maybe they got the vaccine. I don't know, because they seem pretty comfortable if they've been, But I would assume almost everybody there has been tested before they went in. Would think. Yeah, I would think that, at least in this group. Yeah, I wouldn't think there's anybody that we're currently watching. That is not Been tested. Because when you look at them, they're all hugging. They're talking face to face, whispering and talking each other's here and they do have mass on right. Everybody. I don't know if I'd be comfortable with that. Unless everybody was tested. I assumed everybody was tested. Interesting. So again, it will be an abbreviated show. We will send you back to Washington for the inauguration of President Joe Biden at about 11 minutes or in about 11 minutes from now. And we will carry that in its entirety and then We'll come back 11 a.m. or thereabouts and wrap up our show. That's the plan. That's the plan. Yeah, Okay, so it looks like And at Biden's inauguration will be Lady Gaga. But that's again. That's tonight, though, right? No. Bruce will join our next president, Vice President Bruce Springsteen. For the inauguration tune in Wednesday. That's tonight. Wednesday, January 20th at 8 30 P. Yeah, that makes sense. Yeah. So I'm not losing my mind. I just don't remember. Lo Bon Jovi, Justin Timberlake. Even Longoria. Even Longoria, Kerry Washington will be there. Oh, yeah, They're not performing No, but they're at the inauguration party to Kareem Abdul Jabbar. "Um, self driving cars on the street. There's a show called Upload where it's about. This guy who dies. In a in a self driving car. And it's because his car computer has to make a decision about whether to hit these three people on the street or wreck into something else and kill him. And you have to think about that. Like It will make the decision for you instead of you being able to make your decision of what you're going to do on the road. That kind of scares me everything about I mean, I love walking. Yeah, Before I get in a car that basically gets to make its own decision right in terms of whether those two options Are are viable. I just said, Why didn't you just drive? You're selling yourself, right old school car. All right. I'm reading here. This is in November of 2020 Man to flying car took a test flight in Japan. Last year. And so there They're getting close. I mean, you can you can have you could fly in a car. And GM showing off a flying car idea. Called the Cadillac halo or getting closer to it. I just don't see it. And you know they'll be available, but not for the masses. Don't think in our lifetime. Talking. You and me, Dave. Maybe Grant? Yeah, I don't even think. I mean, I think we're Or century away from that sort of stuff. You do You think you don't think for flying? Cars. No, I don't think ours. They're in the air. Yeah, And I wonder how much the life span will increase? Because you think about you know you guys were talking about like the Civil War and You know, fighting Vikings and stuff. And Ross Kaminski, a host on Kay, how was in here? And he was talking about how the life span for the average American during the Civil War was like 40 40 50 years ago. 50. Yeah. So you think now it's what, like 75 80. So, except I think the average life span to believe it's 70. Seven for women and, like 76, c. Think maybe in 50 years or 100 years, advances in medical in the medical field. It could be 100 120 years old. I I think that they'll find the fountain of youth either drug or something. You can take or use Uh, that will extend the life 220. I think everybody should I would be. I would be highly skeptical of that happening. I think that no way to prove this. But I've always I've always believed you know you. You look at what even cancer research. You know, my mom had breast cancer twice. All the money poured into cancer research, and I think we certainly have have made advancements but Man, that's a big business. Cancer. Treating cancer in this country is a huge dollars in since business, So if somebody would Whatever, and covered the fountain of youth that allow people live to 120 years old. There there are there are factions in the world today, the believe population control is one of the Significant sort of items on the table that That, you know, unless they Unless they do something we're gonna We're gonna have too many people and run out of space and run out of food and run out of a lot of things so that that that sounds a bit cryptic, and I don't mean it toe. Sound that way. But I don't know if we'll ever see the average life span be 120 years old and regarding cancer. This isn't me saying this, but there are people that say cancer is such a big business. They don't really want to find a cure. I've heard that before much money being made off of it. They just want to kind of keep this going on. There's a lot of people that have made fortunes off of that. So I lot of companies had. I do believe humans will live to 120. Do you really? I really do. Yeah. Can you get that done like within the next? Maybe I don't know 567. It happens for us, Dave, But it's gonna happen Another if we get 220. We just got to get there on her own. Yes, exactly. But your outsides will look like 150. Our outsides? Yes. What exactly does that mean? Meaning that your insides could be 120 feel good. That's the issue. I think right is that they're gonna have to figure out how to get Your insides and outsides connect where you can live longer and look good and feel good. I give you 120 can't move. Do you want to be 100 and 20 and your mind is gone, But, you know, we just went from I can't move and my mind's gone. I don't know that I wanted one of those, but if your mind's still there, I think you'd still want to be there, right. I mean, like, I don't know. I mean, you can ask an older person Would you rather have your mind or your body? And they kind of flip flop. I think most people would say your mind, I would think so, too, but you feel young inside, But if your body can't do anything that will be that much fun to be 120. The key is just enjoy what you have and doing everything you can to prepare. So live a long and healthy life And then we obviously know it is not. It is not up to us. "Thanks. Pat 5 44 Sports With BK Broncos going out with a thud. My friend you guys a 32 31 lost in the final seconds of the game at home to the hated Raiders is definitely not tell anyone and Broncos country want to see this year end. But that's exactly what happened. The Broncos held leave for much of the game, including breaking and 24 all tie. In the fourth quarter and you lock found Jerry Judy on a slant route in the first round. Her did the bulk of the work, taking it 92 yards to the house, the longest play from scrimmage in the entire NFL this season. The rookie first rounder who dropped five passes, including a TV last week against the Chargers, Holden, five passes for 140 yards and that score and told Dave Logan right here on K Away Post game that he wasn't gonna let his performance in L A linger. You know, I had a bad game last game, and I I make sure this game I do everything in my power just not have a game I did last week. So on I just kept on my set and make sure I did execute my place and that everything I need do not to have another bad game like last week. You like finish today 25 41 for 39 39 yards and two touchdowns and he told David Logan postgame. He knows the kind of quarterback he's capable of being defense is gonna stop us. But the person that stops me is myself. I'm on and sharp and clean with the football and taking care of it. This offense is really good on when I turn the ball over. Sometimes that struggles. We gotta fight back and we just make it harder on yourself. But I also proved that I can and will and Will give everything I came this offseason to continue to grow and be the quarterback that this team needs because I know I can be. And there was moments this year that I showed that the brothers did win the turnover battle with two interceptions and to fumble recoveries, But it wasn't enough. They wrap the year when the 5 11 records fist straight season without a playoff appearance, and they now hold the ninth pick in this year's draft. Come on Maria 36 points and Holyoke It's his fourth triple double of the year, and I just sat there to game losing streak in Minnesota yesterday. 1 24 19, They said two and four on the season and look for a second straight win against the Timberwolves again tomorrow night in the twin cities.

"Away news radio Back head coach Vic Fangio. I'm Dave Logan's We get set for the Broncos and Raiders wrapping up the 2020. Regular season. You know, Vic, When you look at the Raiders team offensively, they've been a pretty consistent group in a pretty good group. In terms of a lot of the Offensive statistics that teams are measured by good running. I mean, they're a top 10 team in terms of passing. They don't give the ball away very much. I mean from top to bottom. What's What's your general overview of this Raiders offense? They're excellent on offense. Their balance. As you said they could run it effectively. Throat effectively. Car is really efficient, running their offense he directs. Protections. They do a lot of auto bling. He runs that very efficiently. They have playmakers that he's throwing the ball too. And tight in Waller got throw Angle are you know Josh Jacobs is one of the top backs in the league for sure. And they got a big, good offensive line that there's a good job protecting and run blocking. So Yeah. From start to finish this season. They've been one of the best offense is in the league for sure. And I guess on the other side of the football, I mean, their defense is experienced a few things that are similar to yours, Maybe not in terms of the injuries. But their defense has been inconsistent at times and yet, you know, they played pretty well against you guys in the second half of the game one because of the turnovers. I mean, from a defense standpoint, one of the Raiders bring in today's game. They're hard playing unit. They got good team speed. They provide a pretty good pass rush. They got some Guys that will run the ball. Good. You know Abram Joyner and great Kwan McMillan or neck Would Kowski and Little Tin. They got a good line backing group. And they've been a consistent but I think they played well and they're capable of putting together a good game like they did against us. The first time we played them, I'll get you out of here on this. I mean, aside from winning the game, which obviously at every level of football, that's the most critical thing. I mean, are there a couple of things that you would like to see In this regular season finale that wraps up the season of their couple of questions that you yet have answers to that. You hope to maybe glean something from in the last game. I'd like to just see us play a complete game will be efficient on offense. Not turn it over. Get some takeaways on defense, you know, eliminate the big plays. And hang in there against this really good offensive team that we're gonna face and they're good Special Teams unit to run frozen great with hungry Turner. "Ball over at the rate they are right now. I mean, you're talking about 23 interceptions and that use dead last in the NFL. Nine fumbles lost. That's 21st so total of 32 giveaways which is 32nd in the NFL. And of course, their turnover margin is minus 20. So what? Wherever they go As it relates to running the ball better, whether being better in the red zone, which they're also 24th in the league. They got to stop turning the ball over, and hopefully they could do that today against the Raiders. Just tell the Raiders as it turns out, are actually 29th the only 15 takeaways on the season. They think about that 15 takeaways. Four of those came from the Broncos. In those four interceptions from Drew lock thistles, not a defense that takes away the ball very much so the Broncosoffense needs to get on track with that. It would be certainly a big bonus for them as they head into the offseason. If they could play a relatively clean game today, a couple of things they want to be able to do they want to be able to run the ball right now. The Broncos air 14th Rushing 120 yards roughly per game and the Raiders or 20 seconds, giving up 126 so maybe an opportunity there for the Broncos on office when we come back and head back out to the stadium and check in with voice of the Broncos Dave Logan and color analyst Rick Lewis as we continue on our Broncos countdown to kick up preview of the Broncos and Raiders, that is next on the Broncos. Countdown to first round of 2019 NFL Draft

"Denver Broncos have the number one ten overall pick in the know rather has the number ten number one. But number ten overall pick. It is the first round though in the NFL draft, which starts tonight voice of the Broncos. Dave Logan says the team has a handful of needs including the offensive line and could make some picks you might not expect. I do think they'll pick a quarterback some more of this draft and maybe higher than we've seen some of the other drafts with Trevor simian a seventh round pick. I mean, maybe maybe amid round quarterback signed veteran quarterback. Joe flacco to contract in the off season. The draft starts at six
