"Bridgewater in trouble. Stefan way ball is caught and inside. The yard line is wait on and into the end zone with the denver touch. Now you gotta be kidding me. Dave logan on the broncos radio. They couldn't have been more lost like he doesn't even know what's going on touchdown with scoring ten seconds. And you weren't gonna okay. So that's alberto who shook off an earlier fumble in the game terrible fumble scoring like by on. Maybe the biggest play of the game. They're broncos went twenty seven thirteen not as close as the final scored indicate giant score on the final play of the game. Garbage time touchdown. This was a a denver. Beatdown who could have seen a common ken barclay. May it was me. That's odd combination because the giant stink. That's a fair point. I i don't know if i necessarily saw this coming. I mean we can talk about the two quarterbacks in this game obvious usually a good place to start. But in this game i think particularly important on the balance of the denver which was excellent like we. We have to remember like even. If you don't think bridgewater's awesome we would do every recap for every denver game last year and it would be like well drew lock eight for twenty one and they got twenty four. Nothing at halftime like every game with drew lock was exactly the same. Get down a million touchdowns maybe he would back door the game. Maybe he wouldn't they would always lose and at least even if you don't think bridgewater's that go that's at least not what this is like. Thought he looks pretty good. They'd really balanced with the running game. Gripe thought he looked really good. Actually i thought one of the best games. He's played in his career. Sure yeah i mean. I guess that's possible obviously jerry. Judy go down. And he's still effective despite losing judy who ends up getting carted off the field. So you have the balance for the denver offense clearly pick bridgewater over drew. Lock vic fangio. You know round of applause for that one and probably wasn't that difficult of a decision and then like for daniel jones is just. It's just the same thing. And i just want to reiterate this like the the one thing. That's predictive year to year with quarterbacks more than anything else is turnover rate so he throw out interceptions or you fumbled the ball a lot especially in the first couple years of your career. If you do that. You're always going to do that. They're very rare that a quarterback. Just changes straights. When it comes to how frequently they turn the ball over so like daniel. Jones turns the ball over more than anyone else. It can't be surprising that in the season opener in like a pretty big spot when he's driving the team down the field. I didn't give it on two touchdowns at the time turns the ball over via fumble on like a as rostock or said the most classic daniel jones play of all time. So you know not surprising outcome you know. Obviously i don't think jones is going to be able to shake the turnover issues. And yeah i mean bridgewater could to a certain extent. Be the answer or at least even if it's not the answer..

"Um and 94 1 happy them. Back before the Broncos kick off the regular season against the Giants. I'm Dave Logan. Now, this week's pregame conversation with Broncos head coach Vic Fangio, so they can. Obviously this is the opener and I think everybody is excited about that. I think back to when I was a player. I mean, the opener just has sort of special significance because camp is over or you're back into the swing of things regular work week and Uh And I think I would. I would guess coaches are the same way. What kind of week have you guys had? Get ready for this giant scape? Yeah, It's been a good week. It's unlike you know, the other weeks. Bloody too! One of the reasons it's unlike any other weeks, as if knowing about this man your opener since something whenever they announced it may So you've watched more tape on your opener than you will for any game. You play the rest of the season going if you're Fortunate enough to get to the Super Bowl. You know, you've just inundated yourself with watching these guys and and everybody wants to get through camp. You know, it's a necessary evil. In building your team and building the player's abilities. But everybody wants to get to this first game. So there's that little extra excitement, whereas next week it starts being a seven day cycle. This one's been along one. Yes, no doubt about that. Let's talk a little bit about the Giants, uh, and again in the opener. You're not real sure what you're going to get. But if you look back to what they did last year, they had their struggles on offense, but defensively This was a really good team. In fact, you guys were first in red zone efficiency as a defense. They were second. They were good against the run. They were good in terms of points allowed. I believe a top 10 defense. I mean, it's a defense that played pretty dog gone well last year. Yeah, they really did. They're big upfront. Got a couple of really good defensive lineman. They got some real active safeties and good corners. They've solidified their corner.

"D. Joe Joe. I got to say that's just major love that you just did. And that's major game that you did turning down that speaker. That was great. Yeah, because you don't want to give these guys that's true advantage. Hey, we don't know And just like that, there she is running up. Did he get it just like that She is running yet. That's it, right. That's if there's anything I never have seen it. That's the fastest. I've see this. She's running in here in the old flip flops, too, which is My goodness. Congratulations. Yes. Congratulations. That is awesome. Hey, you got Alcide tickets? All right. So BK Quick question for you any, uh Any hesitation from Nolan coming on? Because that's really like the first interview is done since this old trade went down, and I thought we handle them with kid gloves. No, uh, I kind of pulled the okey doke on. Um, you know, I've obviously no no. One since he came to town. We saw him get better and better better, And I don't really bother him unless he was hard to get ahold of Through proper channels. Then I would ask him. Hey, you guys, You just signed a $280 Million contract. Can you come on with Dave Logan, And then he would text me back and do it. Uh, you know, but so I never really bugged him. And you know if if I needed something, give it to me because I was on the You know, I was buying Nolan stock earlier. Just always cool to him, but never really bugged him. So Hey, will you talk to me when you get done? Like sure. And then I like I thought I pulled Okey doke. Because I go are going to talk. Big Island, Jo John K away. You just kind of looked at me like, OK, No problem. They said they won't keep you too long. And there you go. So you have got a chat with Nolan, who is in fact starting at third days. The position he used to play here for the Rockies, of course now You fans of hot corner in ST Louis. Want one big case? The case set the scene for me, man. What is it like inside the stadium because out here We had thunderstorm warnings earlier and it kind of cleared out. But now the fan bases bag and it's rocking, and it's starting to feel festive again. Set the scene for us inside the stadium. Yeah, it's nothing here too big out, and obviously we know we're probably 100 yards from each other. It has to be, uh, you know the home side of the whatever my home plate in the dugout between us. That's about all this between. Doesn't Blake three. The weather is the same. And you can tell that kind of everyone was looking up like are we not have to clear the field and all that because you just never know this Colorado storms, But all the folks that got here early and they open the gates for her 3 10 batting practice. Probably two, and the Apple was pretty well full, and now it is. It's almost full like it's the game. And we're still uh, 45 minutes before Joe Buck start doing the intros on TV and in the stadium another hour and 15 minutes, right before the game actually starts because they introduce literally every person Can think of and all their relatives and and and, you know, friend from high school windrow typical out, but it wasn't in here. I've never seen it. Obviously red, Rocky play 81 home games, so big games, you'll have some okay crowds for BP, but it's if the visiting team has a big stuff. Make up Jean Carlo stand when he was with Miami or, uh, someone along those lines, you know, back in the day with Mark McGwire would come in with ST Louis. But this is I mean, this is unlike anything I've ever seen for batting practice to top and also, but Show the balls getting sprayed all over the yard, just like they did last night at the home under, speaking of the home run Derby last night BK, We know that you were over there covering that as well. And how cool is it to see a guy like Peter Alonso? Who, by the way makes about 600,000 year. Win a million dollars in the home reading debate for them for the second time. Is that across the year 600.

"I think there's so many life lessons you can You know, you can teach kids and just to work with kids and then keeps you young And I've done that. I've been a head coach for 28 years, so I enjoy basically everything I do tell you truth. I have just one quick question. Yeah, Just one quick. I know you're a big Yankee fan. Yeah. And, uh, come on, Mandy, You have any idea how much Yankee talk I have to deal with on a regular basis? Stayed here loves Yankees. No, we neither of us. I'm a former L East Tampa Bay Ray fan before I moved out here so typical. Yes. Deep Hatred for Nike organization. Go ahead, Talk amongst yourselves. Go ahead. But my question is, I've always been curious. What if Dave Logan had taken up baseball Now you're drafted by the Cincinnati Reds, and you wanted to do your college thing it see you. But had you been drafted by the New York Yankees Wouldn't have been any different? No, even though I grew up Yankees fan that I mean, we didn't have baseball here. We had a triple A baseball. During my youth, But I mean, here's the reason back, you know, we drove around in covered wagons to show you how long ago that was so back in those days if you signed a professional contract In high school to go play Major League baseball. You were ineligible to play any sport in college. And so I I we'd sent letters to all the teams said Listen, I'm going to college. I'm gonna play football and basketball and maybe baseball, but I don't play football basketball for sure. So no, even had the Yankees drafted me. I would not have signed. You know your your confident enough to think you know what had I chosen Baseball. Could I have made a team? I'd like to think So, Um, I got drafted as a shortstop, but I was a pitcher threw low nineties in high school. I needed a lot of work for sure You could have been another. "News, the Broncos went Defensive with their first round pick last night in Alabama cornerback Patrick Ser Tan. He was the top defensive player on the Broncos draft board. According to GM. George Payton. Sir Tan had a conversation with Dave Logan, Rick Lewis and Big out just after his selection of Patrick. Congratulations. What was your first thought? When you got to call on you knew was gonna be Denver. When I got the call, you know, I was very excited. Um, you know, just All the hard work and everything I've been through since you know, spa dreaming of this moment, you know, special filming, But when I got the call from Denver, I know it's gonna be a great moment for me. Hey, Patrick, Before you came on, we were talking about in college. You practiced every day against four wide receivers. That were first round draft picks in the NFL just in the last two years. Obviously, that's good training for the National Football League. Yes, it is great, You know, just you know whenever revert back to those times, um, you know, competing against those for Steve. But I think ultimately got better. Um, as far as the cornerback And I believe I made them better as well, too. He knows And all competition is in every day and I can. Honestly when I look back on that I can honestly say that I was grateful for those experiences. Let me ask you about playing at the University of Alabama. There's gotta be. There's gotta be a lot of pressure and stress to play at a school like that that is used to so much success. What you got in there and played early as a freshman. Is it just confidence or is it Is it something else? I think it's all around, You know, confidence and just My experience and you know my preparation. You know, he's going into it Freshman year. You know, I I wanted to do things that I said out as far as it goes, You know, I wanted to come in and compete early at the freshman, you know when that's no championship on Americans Stuff like that. So you know, I just sit back and, you know, just look back on my goals that I have for myself. And, um, you know, I just work towards that. You know, now I'm here with it. Broncos first pick the ninth overall selection. Patrick's or Tan joins us from the University of Alabama. My last question. We talk to your dad about this, but I want it. I want to ask you the same question when you look at your game and the various techniques They're called upon today in the NFL from the cornerback position. What two or three things would you say without being boastful? But what two or three things would you say that you are Proficient. And how would you? How would you grade and sort of rate your individual game already at a high level high level? I think I'm all around the corner, but that goes to show what my experience thing corner. I've been playing corn ever since Freshman year of high school, So you know, just going back to it going back to my routine perfecting my technique every day. I think that's what help me. Shake me get to this position. Patrick, you dropped right into the Denver Broncos. Lap. It number nine. Did the Broncos spend much time with you? Predraft? Were you surprised that you got picked by the Broncos? I was a mess supplies. I had a few calls from Denver. We talked off them, but, yeah, you know, I just expected to be picked around that range between the seventh. Intent area top 10 areas, So you know when I got to call, um I knew it was gonna be a special moment because you know Denver been we've been talking from here and there. So you know, I was just excited. You know, I can't wait to join Broncos Nation. One of your teammates is here on you Probably have a teammate on every team. Not that I think about it in the NFL, But Jerry Judy is here. What has he told you? I'm quite sure you guys have been texting each other. Are you guys gonna be roommates? Or you just just going to go about it on your own? Yeah, I'm just go about on my own. Um You know, we we well, it takes from here and there. You know, we're great. We're great friends and you know, just going back to it. We're gonna compete at a high level. This like of the union between us, you know, I'm excited to get, uh, reunite with Patrick again. Congratulations before I let you go. Have have you ever been to Denver? No. I've never been this my first time. All right, well, we'll get used to the altitude, the oxygen that is the new cornerback for the Denver Broncos, Patrick's or Tan Night. Two of the NFL draft, starting Three with Ben and Ryan Live from U C Help Training Center. And then Dave, Rick and Big out. Pick up the coverage of five right here. Okay, we news radio. You know who has been to Denver? Aaron Rodgers. Oh, isn't going to come for good and be our next QB. We're talking about it. Should the Broncos go after him at any cost you're weighing in on Facebook and Twitter. Tom says there's not enough talent on DBS to support Rogers, Dan says they won't win with what they've got now, so absolutely, Michael Johnson says at some 0.1 side is going to show its hand. If Rogers wants to go out of G B and they finally fold. It would not be crazy to bring him here on 91% of the people on Twitter think that we should go after Rodgers and we're bringing the lead a little bit. I learned this news that Roger's fiancee Jaleel Woodley lives Interests older. Yeah. So got homes all over the place. Family is based out of boulders. Sure, they both been here quite a bit. "That's the I mean, That's the great unknown. Yeah, he's shown signs throwing the ball of having really significant arm talent. But I mean, you're gonna base you know you're gonna base feeding your family on that and that That's what this comes down to for. From the coaches stand point in being able to To win next year and being able to stay here and move forward. And, um you know, we'll see. We'll see exactly what happened. So you are of the mind that they will make a hard push for Stafford. I'm of the mind that they will do more than just kicked the tire. I think they will. They will take a good long look at it. I don't know how George Payton nor Vic Fangio feel about Stafford, right? I mean Fangio, coach for the Bears for a long time had to come up with game plans two times a year to Deal with Stafford. Peyton was in the same division. Um, s O. I don't. I don't know personally, how they view messed effort. I'm just talking about how they view the quarterback position currently in Denver. And I would have to think that and I've said this before. You know, you come to the conclusion that for whatever the reason next year we if you're one of the coaches cannot give the ball away as much as we did this year. We're dead last in the league and everybody's going to get fired. So I say if they I think you I think he also though you've got to kick the tires on Watson and see what the price tag is my love to Shawn Watson. I mean, I don't think that I don't think they're in play there, but Oh, I'm I don't know if yeah, I mean, I don't know if realistically there and play, but I think you e think you at least make the call up and say 74 376 year protests and petitions for high school football. None of that is occurring. But the nuggets of the ads Uhh! I suppose, as far as like getting a deal done between comic Oh, I see. Yeah. Maybe. I just think I mean, there's a there's a real business side to the Comcast altitude situation that I'm not sure is equivalent on the high school level. 719361 unless I misunderstood him. Albright feels like there's a strong possibility of Stafford in the Niners would be a great fit in Shanahan's offense with those weapons. I completely agree completely. And I said this and again you've listened to the show for any length of time immediately following the Super Bowl of last year. Was the last year the Niners play the chief CIA. You know, watching the game and then going back and looking at the tape of the game. You know, in the NFL. You only get there so many times, right? I mean, you forget just Super Bowl. You have to maximize your opportunities. San Francisco had the right game plan defensively. They just had a quarterback that with four or five plays easy place to make. I'm not talking about spectacular plays. I'm talking about a place where you just have to see it and trust it and throw it. Rapallo was nowhere to be found folded. I mean, it was that performance and I think he's a good player, but that performance to me if I'm Cal Shanahan and or John Lynch Can't get that performance out of my mind moving forward, And if I have a chance to get a better player, I'm going to get a better player. Hopefully, you know when you get old Insurance will pay for that, because some some people, older people That gets so heavy. It affects their vision. Really. It's just she's not like that. First of all, she's not old, she said today. No, she's not old. But she said today that Her eyelashes or, like they hit her. Whatever that blepharoplasty thing is. And then so it Z like irritating. You put a little bit of million under there. Where do you call him? Million? I just called you yet? No, not, uh, brilliant. I just made the word of but but I'd used enough for years and years. M u L L i e M T Anything is to work a little bit of money like, But you just gotta say, like, move the cow million till you go. But you're taking too long on the phrase Just like my aunt. There you go. You put a little bit of money under there and you're good to go. Where'd you get that term? I think I made it up myself. I've never heard it. Well, that's very close. I think I made it up myself. I think maybe that was like a Texas thing you got from your mom or something. Uh, be a Texas that it could be. Yeah, I picked up. I think the Balata Lot of phrases and jargon and from the Texas side of my family, So if you could have a plastic surgery Which one would you think you would? You would get like if it was free and easy. And what are the options like a nose? I could tell you right now I do my nose. What would you do to it? Well, I've had Excuse me. I've had to Sinus surgery. I've had one that didn't work. And so my nose is jacked up. And, um, I had a a doctor in town. Tell me that I needed to go on to have a complete and reconstruction. You sure wouldn't like a drug and do stuff. I'm positive. It wasn't drug induced. Honey, I'm not trying to get back into your heyday. But no. I had a deviated septum. I broke my nose at one time. Me too. And then the guy that fixed it the first time. Overcorrected, the deviated septum. Oh, and so I had to go in again a year later. And then that guy took ah, lot of cartilage out of my nose so anyway. I would do that. You maybe someday just like you don't deviate your septum just like it. Breathe. Yeah. That probably be my choice. Not not not not in the I'm trying to top you category but my Sinus surgery almost want up bleeding to them. Remember? You told me about that. I think the doctor's still in town. I think he is, but he didn't For whatever reason he didn't. Had polyps in my nasal Yeah, analysis and they got those out. But I kept I kept I couldn't. It was supposed to be an outpatient deal. Right? So, But every time I take my head off the pillow man, I get so dizzy about to pass out. So about midnight that night. They changed shifts. And the nurses kept paging the doctor who performed the surgery. He didn't come in new doctor comes in. Says how you doing? I said I'm doing I'm hanging in there said Open your mouth looked in the back of my throat with a flashlight because the room was dark. Said, Huh? We have to get you back down to surgery, so I immediately tried to talk him out of that because I don't. I don't like surgery. He said. You have arterial bleeding The blood splashing in the back of your throat. I couldn't see so I lost. I don't know what they tell me. 30%. Wow. 30% of all the blood of my bottles killed you. We were wonder. Why is a rod there? Yep. I've seen most inaugurations. I'm trying honestly trying to remember back Is it common for? Music music stars to perform at the this part of the inauguration. I think so. I know they do it in a night celebration of the week of the inauguration, but I didn't They've been my memories. Well, you said you heard Garth Brooks was gonna be there. And I know that Tim McGraw and Tyler Hubbard from Florida Georgia line are performing their song undivided that they just that just came out. I got asked to perform, so okay. Performs, and I'm not trying to stir the pot here. I just don't remember who performed at President Trump's inauguration, which I do not remember. I don't remember any musical and I'm not saying that. I just don't remember. I mean, I can't tell you who performed at President Obama's Inauguration looks like inauguration. Donald Trump was Lee Greenwood. Okay. Uh, I don't know. I didn't see it was Toby Keith. Looking to see who else was on it. And that was the day of the inauguration. I know they do. They have all sorts of festivities the week of right I know there were performers because President Obama I mean the Democratic nomination. Or the Democratic, not caucus. But their celebration was here in Denver says on the evening of January 19th of the inauguration, it was America Make America great again. Welcome celebration. Concert for his supporters. The concert held on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. Where was Lee Greenwood? Toby Keith, three doors down DJ Rabbit drums and the piano guys. So that was on the Like The morning of the The evening of January, 19th was inauguration that 19 flusher. Okay, So so maybe I mean some of these stars they're going to perform tonight. I didn't know if they don't know. I just I'm a little surprised that you're seeing a bunch of old people. Better that air gathered very close together in a lot of them, hugging each other and wonder if all of them have been vaccinated. Don't know. You know, these are probably the Elite of Washington D. C. I would imagine, And maybe they got the vaccine. I don't know, because they seem pretty comfortable if they've been, But I would assume almost everybody there has been tested before they went in. Would think. Yeah, I would think that, at least in this group. Yeah, I wouldn't think there's anybody that we're currently watching. That is not Been tested. Because when you look at them, they're all hugging. They're talking face to face, whispering and talking each other's here and they do have mass on right. Everybody. I don't know if I'd be comfortable with that. Unless everybody was tested. I assumed everybody was tested. Interesting. So again, it will be an abbreviated show. We will send you back to Washington for the inauguration of President Joe Biden at about 11 minutes or in about 11 minutes from now. And it's because his car computer has to make a decision about whether to hit these three people on the street or wreck into something else and kill him. And you have to think about that. Like It will make the decision for you instead of you being able to make your decision of what you're going to do on the road. That kind of scares me everything about I mean, I love walking. Yeah, Before I get in a car that basically gets to make its own decision right in terms of whether those two options Are are viable. I just said, Why didn't you just drive? You're selling yourself, right old school car. All right. I'm reading here. This is in November of 2020 Man to flying car took a test flight in Japan. Last year. And so there They're getting close. I mean, you can you can have you could fly in a car. And GM showing off a flying car idea. Called the Cadillac halo or getting closer to it. I just don't see it. And you know they'll be available, but not for the masses. Don't think in our lifetime. Talking. You and me, Dave. Maybe Grant? Yeah, I don't even think. I mean, I think we're Or century away from that sort of stuff. You do You think you don't think for flying? Cars. No, I don't think ours. They're in the air. Yeah, And I wonder how much the life span will increase? Because you think about you know you guys were talking about like the Civil War and You know, fighting Vikings and stuff. And Ross Kaminski, a host on Kay, how was in here? And he was talking about how the life span for the average American during the Civil War was like 40 40 50 years ago. 50. Yeah. So you think now it's what, like 75 80. So, except I think the average life span to believe it's 70. Seven for women and, like 76, c. Think maybe in 50 years or 100 years, advances in medical in the medical field. It could be 100 120 years old. I I think that they'll find the fountain of youth either drug or something. You can take or use Uh, that will extend the life 220. I think everybody should I would be. I would be highly skeptical of that happening. I think that no way to prove this. But I've always I've always believed you know you. You look at what even cancer research. You know, my mom had breast cancer twice. All the money poured into cancer research, and I think we certainly have have made advancements but Man, that's a big business. Cancer. Treating cancer in this country is a huge dollars in since business, So if somebody would Whatever, and covered the fountain of youth that allow people live to 120 years old. There there are there are factions in the world today, the believe population control is one of the Significant sort of items on the table that That, you know, unless they Unless they do something we're gonna We're gonna have too many people and run out of space and run out of food and run out of a lot of things so that that that sounds a bit cryptic, and I don't mean it toe. Sound that way. But I don't know if we'll ever see the average life span be 120 years old and regarding cancer. This isn't me saying this, but there are people that say cancer is such a big business. They don't really want to find a cure. I've heard that before much money being made off of it. They just want to kind of keep this going on. There's a lot of people that have made fortunes off of that. So I lot of companies had. I do believe humans will live to 120. Do you really? I really do. Yeah. Can you get that done like within the next? Maybe I don't know 567. It happens for us, Dave, But it's gonna happen Another if we get 220. We just got to get there on her own. Yes, exactly. But your outsides will look like 150. Our outsides? Yes. What exactly does that mean? Meaning that your insides could be 120 feel good. That's the issue. I think right is that they're gonna have to figure out how to get Your insides and outsides connect where you can live longer and look good and feel good. I give you 120 can't move. Do you want to be 100 and 20 and your mind is gone, But, you know, we just went from I can't move and my mind's gone. I don't know that I wanted one of those, but if your mind's still there, I think you'd still want to be there, right. I mean, like, I don't know. I mean, you can ask an older person Would you rather have your mind or your body? And they kind of flip flop. I think most people would say your mind, I would think so, too, but you feel young inside, But if your body can't do anything that will be that much fun to be 120. The key is just enjoy what you have and doing everything you can to prepare. So live a long and healthy life And then we obviously know it is not. It is not up to us. "Thanks. Pat 5 44 Sports With BK Broncos going out with a thud. My friend you guys a 32 31 lost in the final seconds of the game at home to the hated Raiders is definitely not tell anyone and Broncos country want to see this year end. But that's exactly what happened. The Broncos held leave for much of the game, including breaking and 24 all tie. In the fourth quarter and you lock found Jerry Judy on a slant route in the first round. Her did the bulk of the work, taking it 92 yards to the house, the longest play from scrimmage in the entire NFL this season. The rookie first rounder who dropped five passes, including a TV last week against the Chargers, Holden, five passes for 140 yards and that score and told Dave Logan right here on K Away Post game that he wasn't gonna let his performance in L A linger. You know, I had a bad game last game, and I I make sure this game I do everything in my power just not have a game I did last week. So on I just kept on my set and make sure I did execute my place and that everything I need do not to have another bad game like last week. You like finish today 25 41 for 39 39 yards and two touchdowns and he told David Logan postgame. He knows the kind of quarterback he's capable of being defense is gonna stop us. But the person that stops me is myself. I'm on and sharp and clean with the football and taking care of it. This offense is really good on when I turn the ball over. Sometimes that struggles. We gotta fight back and we just make it harder on yourself. But I also proved that I can and will and Will give everything I came this offseason to continue to grow and be the quarterback that this team needs because I know I can be. And there was moments this year that I showed that the brothers did win the turnover battle with two interceptions and to fumble recoveries, But it wasn't enough. They wrap the year when the 5 11 records fist straight season without a playoff appearance, and they now hold the ninth pick in this year's draft. "Away news radio Back head coach Vic Fangio. I'm Dave Logan's We get set for the Broncos and Raiders wrapping up the 2020. Regular season. You know, Vic, When you look at the Raiders team offensively, they've been a pretty consistent group in a pretty good group. In terms of a lot of the Offensive statistics that teams are measured by good running. I mean, they're a top 10 team in terms of passing. They don't give the ball away very much. I mean from top to bottom. What's What's your general overview of this Raiders offense? They're excellent on offense. Their balance. As you said they could run it effectively. Throat effectively. Car is really efficient, running their offense he directs. Protections. They do a lot of auto bling. He runs that very efficiently. They have playmakers that he's throwing the ball too. And tight in Waller got throw Angle are you know Josh Jacobs is one of the top backs in the league for sure. And they got a big, good offensive line that there's a good job protecting and run blocking. So Yeah. From start to finish this season. They've been one of the best offense is in the league for sure. And I guess on the other side of the football, I mean, their defense is experienced a few things that are similar to yours, Maybe not in terms of the injuries. But their defense has been inconsistent at times and yet, you know, they played pretty well against you guys in the second half of the game one because of the turnovers. I mean, from a defense standpoint, one of the Raiders bring in today's game. They're hard playing unit. They got good team speed. They provide a pretty good pass rush. They got some Guys that will run the ball. Good. You know Abram Joyner and great Kwan McMillan or neck Would Kowski and Little Tin. They got a good line backing group. And they've been a consistent but I think they played well and they're capable of putting together a good game like they did against us. The first time we played them, I'll get you out of here on this. I mean, aside from winning the game, which obviously at every level of football, that's the most critical thing. I mean, are there a couple of things that you would like to see In this regular season finale that wraps up the season of their couple of questions that you yet have answers to that. You hope to maybe glean something from in the last game. I'd like to just see us play a complete game will be efficient on offense. Not turn it over. Get some takeaways on defense, you know, eliminate the big plays. And hang in there against this really good offensive team that we're gonna face and they're good Special Teams unit to run frozen great with hungry Turner. He got had some good punt returns against this. The first game, so we're gonna have to have our best game. Special teams wise also, Vic Appreciate it. Good luck. Thank you, Dave. "Ball over at the rate they are right now. I mean, you're talking about 23 interceptions and that use dead last in the NFL. Nine fumbles lost. That's 21st so total of 32 giveaways which is 32nd in the NFL. And of course, their turnover margin is minus 20. So what? Wherever they go As it relates to running the ball better, whether being better in the red zone, which they're also 24th in the league. They got to stop turning the ball over, and hopefully they could do that today against the Raiders. Just tell the Raiders as it turns out, are actually 29th the only 15 takeaways on the season. They think about that 15 takeaways. Four of those came from the Broncos. In those four interceptions from Drew lock thistles, not a defense that takes away the ball very much so the Broncosoffense needs to get on track with that. It would be certainly a big bonus for them as they head into the offseason. If they could play a relatively clean game today, a couple of things they want to be able to do they want to be able to run the ball right now. The Broncos air 14th Rushing 120 yards roughly per game and the Raiders or 20 seconds, giving up 126 so maybe an opportunity there for the Broncos on office when we come back and head back out to the stadium and check in with voice of the Broncos Dave Logan and color analyst Rick Lewis as we continue on our Broncos countdown to kick up preview of the Broncos and Raiders, that is next on the Broncos.
