So maybe Amendola someone who benefit. A big catch late Quintas safest had ten targeting these games here plenty of room forgetting God day. Yeah. I guess. I'll. Say No because you know who's going to be better jared cook. How good was jared cook. Today. He's a good nurse that's for Damn. Sure. believe it or not or Jordan Logan Thomas was better than Hayden. So more targets than teacher, Hopkinson delete believe it or not David Montgomery is good. I believe it. I believe he's A. Good NFL running back not a good fantasy starter. Okay. Charter Sixteen Bengals Thirteen This is gonNA. This is going to get me in trouble right here. I kind of believe it though even though I shouldn't. Believe it or not Mike Williams is going to be the best wide receiver on the chargers. This you know what I started when I was watching that game. I thought that deride made much better throws to him. Oh, so he can lob that ball sideline. Give timing right cross. No chance. And that hurts Allen. And he's he's getting hit in the shoulder after he was dealing with a shoulder injury. What's his roster ship percentage? He is one hundred percent rostered Keenan Allen was started in ninety five percent of leagues. No thirty, eight, percent rally add him. Yeah. I I'm encouraged by what I saw. I'm not sure there's a like a top sixty player keener now was borderline top sixty that I'd be more nervous about right now they keep it out who did get injured today. Top sixteen hundred and get it right like God. You cannot be feel good if you have. A bad time. How do you feel about having? Austin Exeter. Feel good about that. You can't. Oh. Balan. Yeah. Well, that's also About either. Okay all right and scoring excellent saints box New Orleans thirty, four Tampa Bay twenty-three. Well Dave Kinda stole mind but I'M GONNA go with it anyway believe it or not Tom Brady and drew brees aren't as good as they used to be. Like I had that at the beginning. Okay. So I still yours everybody who watched the game had it and stole it from you heath. Yeah I buy it. But I at least in the case, it's really indicate of both of them. They're surrounded by so much good talent that their shortcomings has a passer can be recouped. So they're going to have good fantasy games both these guys at two touchdowns today. The there's going to be some three hundred yard games ahead. Believe it or not rob Gronkowski should be dropped fro Jay Howard. I I don't believe that but I could see getting dropped for a number of other players I've not Howard good today and a lot more attention from Brady. Yeah. He got snap counts there. We've got one more game. I. WanNa see the snap cows if we have those one more game Arizona Twenty Four. San. Francisco Twenty. Go ahead heath. That's why I love Thursday night and Sunday night Monday night and I-. DVR. The game and my kids are asleep and I do the dishes because this is a frigging mess and I just watch football and I love it and you steal that from me heath one thing I have in my life right now. At least you saw the dishes Adam. I feel bad. Now believe it or not. I feel Kinda bad. Now I don't believe I don't don't. Believe it or not chase edmunds kinda problem for Kenyan Drake. Yeah, sixteen is this drake. Rushing to a little bit a little bit of a problem. I think in the passing game more than like he's GonNa take five or six carries. That's fine. But if he's out targeting drake I think drake's in trouble first-round ADP literally the second time and the cardinals last seventeen games were the secondary running back had more than seven touches. Yeah believing week. We'll find out if it's a trend next week. By the fact that George Killed in gaming is the cardinals is amazing. Believe it or not she got banged up lead. For no longer, the free space against start in. Maybe. Believe it or not. The browns forty niners are missing the playoffs. that. Man We might be overreacting a little bit, but actually pick them to miss the playoffs. So me too. Okay. Good. Good stuff I think i. Can I Buy a Motorcycle After My Girlfriend Dumped Me?

"Matt is in Washington DC I matt, welcome to the show. David asked thanks so much taking my call. Really appreciate it. Sure. What's up? Hey question. So I don't know if I'm over thinking this or but some twenty five years old and I just moved to DC, it'd be closer to my girlfriend and we broke up. and. So I'm thinking about buying a motorcycle for about five grand I don't know if I can afford it or not. I make a hundred and twenty grand a year. I've got about one hundred and fifty grand cash just in the bank, and I've got another hundred grand just sitting in fifty grand in single socks and their fifty grand four one K. you're kidding they do you got all of that in Holland us about a five thousand purchase. What's really going on six thousand I. Say it again sorry said what's really going on here how much is the motorcycle five thousand dollars While put out one hundred and forty, six, thousand dollars in debt. We'll write a check and pay all that off, and then we'll have a discussion about a motorcycle. And then by the bike yeah. I I don't I to investment properties I I rent where I live and twenty four grand on a car. But I don't know if I'm over thinking or not. But I guess if you know I don't you're saying maybe I am overthinking one percent of your life where he's is a five thousand dollar motorcycle ninety, nine percent of your life where he was one, hundred, forty, six, thousand dollars in debt. Yeah. Write a check and pay off your debt go by the motorcycle. Are you buying a motorcycle grieving over the girlfriend? Yeah. A little bit. Yeah. I want to do. I thought my weekends would be with her and now I'm out together. So I just WANNA go out and make friends and just kind of have stuff to do you know you can make friends without a motorcycle. Batman. Why why do you need a motorcycle make friends? The only down the only negative part about the motorcycles number one, the debts and number two it sounds like it might be some grief spending grieving over the relationship and the not that it's because it's not gonNA, kill you financial. You can afford to buy the bike. You can afford to buy the bike and set fire to it in the driveway and not worry about it wouldn't. It's not GonNa kill you financially but what you can't afford is to get into a situation where you react to. bad feelings in your life by spending. Yes you can't. You can't put that group in your brain that that group will destroy you long-term definitely will definitely will an and hear me clearly ma'am. When you pay off this debt I wanted to go ahead and get your emergency fund backup because I gotTa give it to you to have that kind of money at this age. That's great. You just doing a little bit backwards from what we teach you know. So go ahead and pause all your investments right now because I want to go ahead and get out of debt and then makes you get your three to six months out enough to. Do that he's probably just needs to allocators couple hundred grand if I understood right well as one hundred and fifty thousand in a savings in one, hundred, thousand investments no show you some of both it lets us all the savings. Yes. Hundred Forty six, thousand year paid off four thousand dollars, right? Okay. Pull some out of investments and make sure it's set aside an emergency fund can't him by the bike coke right and you get all three done. Then you've got your first three baby steps, we call them in place mat but just just search your own soul and look in the mirror and go dude is this just I'm just grief spending here. and that's not something you want to get into as a long term thing that every time I feel bad I spend every time I feel bad eat. Those kinds of. This is why we teach don't move until you are married. Don't make a life changing move because he said, he moved to this place for his girlfriend. I mean that's a different subject. We Dave Ramsey show so. Anthony Oneal show whatever? So I'll go with me. You're saying don't chase girls and boys around the country. And not unless you not unless you are married why move to the hardcore why move in with the person you are hardcore Dave Kinda move on I'm not saying on that. Yeah. But I mean chasing somebody you know moving to the city with the person versus. Moving in. Not Moving in. So you into the City House Oh. Yes. See I still I'm St-. If my daughter came home and said I'm moving to another city so I can be closer to my boyfriend I will have a problem with that. Yeah. I mean, it's not wrong. I'm just saying. You're up and ruining your whole life for the possibility of this thing to workout. I think I'd want some circumstances listed out around that before I would make that call. Okay. If it sounded like immature and flighty like she was being used up or manipulated definitely out if she's a strong woman, make her own calls. That's a different issue.

"You get your podcast. This might be wrong, but I read something of like the way you got signed. Was Your at some party? And you play the song You are too drunk, so didn't Kinda kill it. Can you tell that story? All right, so we just detours hours. Riding is about the time we wrote detours off the EP. My Buddy Day terminal has has a spot east a town over office river this river, so we went over there and we were fishing all day in office, looking for publishing, he was signed to a company, called Ole at the time, and when I was out there. Dave told me that he's. He asked me that. Hey, man, have you sign a publishing deal yet? Now's like now Ma'am still looking. and. He's I will do my publishers coming out here today, so you should. Talk to you can get a meeting. I had a good buzz going on in that room and I was like Man i? Wish I would have known that like you know Kaz. If we have a fire I would probably start playing until are better than that insurance. That's exactly what happened, so we built a fire were hanging out in days. Like pay been. You know who ended up together first time. He's a hey, man. This is a my buddy Jordan. He just moved to town looking for pups Jordan play some songs, so they hand me guitar and I am just tank in. In light can't remember anything. Start Butcher in my songs in the felt terrible, and even Dave Kinda felt bad baddies man. I should have thought about that because we're hanging out fishing having beer all day and the next morning. I'm like driving into town in my brother is kind of beat me up on as I. Do you had a chance last night that I play some songs in his date you it. and. But Luckily Ben Simmons emails a Hey, man, you know. I realized the other night it was. It was kind of weird situation, so that like two days after that he had me into his office, and that's how I got that meeting by screwing those songs up so bad it let him. Do Oh God. That would give me so much anxiety that. Don't I? Know I always every time I show that story I bet you. Don't follow that route. Because also like I'm a I'm a terrible singer, and like have serviceable guitar player, but I've been that party so many times, and then handed the guitar so many times and got like halfway through blackboard. I'm like I. Remember the lyrics. Yeah Dude it's a scary. Like I didn't sleep at all that night I remember just being like dude because I mean like I said I was. Four years into town so like every meeting I was putting so much pressure on myself down to like. Did you get a? You GotTa make this work? Make this work to I. beat myself up so much because I mean. It was at that time where I was Kinda like. A ad put a two year. Limit on me moving town because I moved to town later. Now's twenty. Six twenty seven. And And I was just in here I am for years and I had another opportunity that kind of blew it. I was almost to the point where I was like dude. Donnie go back Louisiana. Get A job. Come up, buddy up you now. The man didn't work out. You got a job. I burned four years of my life because you suggested this new. Job. Why don't you just Barbie likes? You have a lot of great songs, but I I think singles Yup is is my favorite one. Just because I'm engaged now, but it's a song. A lot of guys can relate to. It's like hey, man. If this ever goes to shit, yeah, I want to be here, you know. Absolutely. That's exactly what that is. Where the song come from I wrote down Steven Dale Jones just Niba, in Justin, had just gotten engaged, and he said that a friend of his they were somewhere in midtown I thought the losers, red, or somewhere, and one of them said you're smart in never single her up and just put it in his phone and silver sitting Enron. injustice anything to like You're smart. Never single her up, and I was like that's kind of cool like it sounds cool. I've never heard it put like that, so we start writing this song about having this amazing girl that you never wanNA single era in. We've got about halfway through about an hour into writing that and I was like is. This is boring man like? Like I. Don't think this is the way we need to do it and I was like, but if we switched it because I don't know about Y'all, but I've been in a situation where I've seen a girl that was taken, but always talked to myself. I do that would be such a better boyfriend when she has. In both bow. Just Stephen Derelict do me. Do man up in here. In like a media like flipped it in the song like. Came within an hour I always say as I can remember so many times in college. Just being like God man if that girl wasn't Dayton that clown. Be Such a better boyfriend, yeah! That's one of my still one of my favorite song to play out. Loud your married now. Does, your wife like to hear that song we played. Is that weird thing? MMA. She doesn't mind singles you up. There's a few other ones. That she's not too big on. Take it from me being one of them. That's about you know ex. In N. also like going round is another one that she's not crazy about Carr's. That's about another another girl, so yeah, but she she answering was the up at all huge songs, so she's like well. Hey, as long as it keeps getting played, yeah! That one paid for the West, wing of the House. That would. Be Her Amazon You remember the first time you heard yourself on the radio I. Do like it was yesterday I was in Houston Texas. We were in a sprouts parking lot and I was down with my set my radio Rhett. We were sitting out there in our member. Thinking this is one of my first first weekends out with her. and. She's awesome she. In world will you're sitting in this parking lot waiting to go somewhere because she knew it was coming up and. I remember thinking like. Why don't we just got like? We could see the House that we were going to like. Why don't we just go over there and like walk in? The All we're not supposed to be.

"If people want to can a check out his thoughts on all the team, or all the cities that are under consideration, but the big hurdle. Still left before the page can flip to face three and then face four is the health and safety guidelines for each of them, so what the players are going through right now face to the workouts. It was twenty one page as a guidelines that the NHL in the NHL PD had a hash out between them. Just for this step. We're just six guys at. At a time or on the ice together, so you would imagine as you move to face three, and we're talking about potentially up to thirty guys on the ice at a single time for training camps. That's going to be a lot bigger, and then when you double that and consider that it's going to be like forty. Some guys on the ice at a time. In actual games in hub cities Carl, living a protective bubble. That's going to be even longer, so they're still obviously a lot to hash out here right day. Yeah and I think that's why the NHL is. Kind of waited on making any sort of announcement on. You know where it's going there. There's so much that. All used the hockey term is fluid. Everybody loves use that word fluid around the NHL and just everything changes in in. We've seen. Different things last week. In terms of Dallas with with the Krona virus, they saw big spike in their cases I I was just reading on rj today that we saw a spike here in Nevada with cases so. Everything can kind of change in in the next couple of months or excuse me the next couple of weeks as as all, this plays out in the. Know, really in no rush to kind of name. where it's going to be right now, I mean the other side of it, too is is really the Canadian border situation in as long as there's a fourteen day quarantine, you know with Canada and getting across the border, and all the issues with that you know they they kinda have to see where things are in how that would fit in with potential bids with like Edmonton. Toronto Vancouver so there's still so much to figure out in in like you mentioned with the health and safety stuff. You know we talked about this last week. Everything's encouraging everything's going in the right direction and I think the NHL needs to be applauded in in a lot of ways for you know getting folks back. Having, that like you said twenty one page memo. Ben That lays out all these particular guidelines for all of this you know. The NHL air the NBA slowly coming back, we'll see where the NFL's at and and baseball is obviously got. You know kind of its own thing that it's dealing with, but but right now the NHL is. Is You know using that that that term you used earlier baby steps. It's slowly moving forward and I do think you know Gary, Batman and in the League office, and all the teams and players NHLPA it at least for right now should be applauded for that. Yeah so as Dave. Kinda hinted at their. The next step will definitely be probably announcing those two subsidies were games will take place at kind of expect that in the next couple of weeks, but what? is definitely going to complicate things or what you know is definitely going to make. The NHL wait. A little bit is just to see where the spikes are going to be because Dave Mitchell obviously here. Casinos reopened a not only casinos reopened, but they reopen while a bunch of people were protesting in the streets than that of course is not a unique to Las Vegas thing that's everywhere and even of course Minneapolis. Saint Paul kind of the spark of protests, not just nationwide, but worldwide is under consideration to be a hub city to Stewart. Anticipate that there's probably going to be a spike. They are within the next couple of weeks to so the NHL is kinda going to lie in the weeds you want, assume wait to see what new hot spots appear with Kobe nineteen and then. Take that all into consideration. When they're making their decisions, but speaking of decisions that the NHL made. Let's talk about how the playoff format has come into a little bit more focus. In the past week we learned a little bit more of how face for this kind of big playoff tournaments or postseason tournament I guess 'cause the playoffs are only the final sixteen teams because that's a technicality that the NHL is working through. We learn a little bit more. How that's GonNa work. It's going to be reseeded after every single round, which is of course different. Normally, it's a very fixed bracket in the NHL and that just makes sense. Because of course, the nights are one of four teams in the Western. Western Conference and therefore more teams in the eastern conference with buys from the play in round, and they're going to play each other to try to improve their seeding, but if the nights reward for improving their seating is to you know, play eight or nine seed, and then we have a twelve five upset, and then all of a sudden, the number four seed gets to play the Chicago Blackhawks well, then, what was the whole point of the round-robin? Anyway? So Adam this team I. Think makes sense for this format. I think it makes a ton of sense for for competitive reasons. I think there's no question about that. I. Think you know it seemed like that's what the players wanted to do and. It just makes sense you said like why? Why do the round robin if the seating? Is it really going to end up mattering? The next round. I do think the NHL. It seemed like the League was pushing. Maybe for the other way that they wanted maybe a bracket format I I thought. It didn't make sense except for one thing. I think you are going to have a case where there might be more is on you than normal. especially more is in aren't necessarily hockey fans, and I think you know in a year where there was no NCAA tournament, there's no march. Madness bracket almost makes it easier for people that don't follow along that closely to to follow it into, maybe even participate in some sort of you know, bracket, contest, type, things and bringing that sort of fantasy element to the proceedings for the for the average fan. That's not a hockey person. I think could have helped a little bit, but not not very much, but I think from a competitive standpoint. This is what you had to do. This is the way it had to be I think it's good that this is what they ended up settling on. Yeah, normally, the NHL kind of does their fix bracket format by division. Just because one, it makes travel usually a lot easier. If you're playing someone geographically close to you in the first couple rounds well, that's obviously out the window now. No one's traveling anywhere. So that's not a consideration and then, too, they like. The fact that that usually promotes rivalry is, and you see okay. The Maple leafs the Bruins play each other in the first round, a couple years narrow where the penguins and the capitals are always running into each other in the second round, regardless of their if they're the two best teams in the eastern conference or not, but since you seeded teams by conference this year anyway, not by division. Dave. I'm sure you agreed. This just seems like the No no-brainer approach now I don't. Know Let's talk about this brawl. Okay here's what I agree with. I think it should have been re seated before the quote unquote playoffs. So, do the qualifying round, and then do the receding, but then from that point forward it should be a bracket. In Nighthawk Donate Schmidt about this and you hear player, say this and more importantly in my opinion, you should the NHL say this day have made a big deal about the keeping the integrity of the playoffs as much as possible. Yes, it's going to be different, and yes, there's nothing you know I. Guess Normal about the twenty fourteen format in whatever but dave also consistently said that the playoffs began when we get to sixteen and they've always used this sixteen team format so for me okay receipted if the blues end up the number, one seed, and there's a five twelve upset as as you described Ben than they should get the twelve seat. By going forward, it should be a bracket and Nate Schmidt. said I thought it was great like if somebody, if there's a sixteen seed that beats number one seed in the NCAA tournament..

"Government I'm off on the next story Earl Thomas he says the ravens will be in the Superbowl I'm not sure why this is really a story but the raven safety offered a confident take when he was asked about the Sunday game against forty Niners they said if you think the forty that is going to you think the forty nine is going to the Superbowl could be let's see Superbowl comes whoever we play they're going to be in trouble I will say what's in athletes was to be exact you know what lucky to make the playoffs not really sure we can win a big game I I don't know what the hot takeaways on that though it's funny this raven sealing the way they've handled everything is been phenomenal like Lamar Jackson he's a guy who could be your captain sensitive for all the criticism that he's got an he's received instead of like gloating everybody now like this is the presumptive MVP candidate it was the sort of there nobody cares work harder thank you just going to do I'm self and got marking of like being his height band for the MVP a twenty four seven so it's an absolute joy to watch these guys in the press as well America's team Baltimore Ravens I you know again I just I love in the vero lake give you more of a story for all time is commands a member just enjoy it we can we can top window a win in the Superbowl so we might as well just have a little fun this thing eventually guys just the last on the trending list Steelers David Castro received a fine but no explanation the guard said he hasn't received an explanation for the NFL for the fine he incurred in the Browns loss he believes though that he was fined for being quote a peacemaker so and he wasn't listed on the lid initialism finds in the end the game melee a couple weeks ago between the Browns dealers but he revealed he was fined more than fourteen thousand dollars he was involved in the fight he separated Mason right off the mas Garrett after laying on Garrett's any late on gear to sort of de escalate the whole situation so he says he was the peacemaker the NFL says peacemaking cost you fourteen thousand dollars what's trending Ben Simmons has to be some more I got was that I tried that excuse and it works great so I don't know what's wrong with you Dave we did us speaking of the NBA interview cast the hub of the covers earlier if you missed our interview with Cassidy go check out the entire interview on demand in the goal coming podcast right to my Capital One Capital One is reimagining banking offering accounts with no fees or minimums that could be opened in just five minutes Capital One what's in your wallet Capital One N. A. member FDIC so let's talk a little bit about the Steelers Browns game because David Castro I mean finding more than fourteen thousand dollars for keeping the peace as he sees it as a hefty fine but it's a reminder that there is a real and lingering affect on Sunday's game because a lot of people had their pocketbooks lightened and you can talk about the disrespect you can talk about the both sides are going to to feel you could talk about the the things that led up to the incident or the incident itself and all of these things going to charge everybody to a different level emotionally but also a lot of money is is being taken out of tax which is a real affect when you're looking across at somebody they demand you cost me money above and beyond any and and on top of everything else that's like the the cream cheese icing on top of the cake here I mean I expect both teams to be work expecting some sort of a an an incident but dies there's too much on the line in this game to let that revenge whatever it means for either side become a bigger factor than I don't know actually winning a football game for two teams in the playoffs if you look at this of the Browns of winning this game both teams to be sitting there at six and six no the rounds is as much as they strolled earlier in the year they've won rattled off a number of wins or send five and six picks Pittsburgh now sitting at six and five there in the playoffs at this point time so this is what kind of crazy here is I think that'll end up prevailing over any individual disputes that happened in trying to get retribution for things that happened before is the make the both of these teams there guys ultimate goal is to alternately make the playoffs and then also to retain as much of their salary as possible if you think the fines or have you last time the involved no I'm sure is going to issue some sort of easy to these teams like there's not gonna be any room should be no tolerance for any tomfoolery shenanigans or something happens we will be heavy handed with our punishments are fines or suspensions in those becoming quick ejections will come quick we're not going to have this happen again two weeks after it happened once on a Thursday night and for the entire world to see we always your points of emphasis for the officiating crews the point is going to be flag early and often if you need to to send that message because you're right in a game where this much is important and when you look at it in all actuality we know miles Gerrit also feel for the rest of the year marquise Pouncey to the objection of the Steelers still off the field for this game even after having that suspension reduced Mason Rudolph who was the center of a lot of is now off the field benched for performance reasons it is in favor of doc Hodges so most of the principal players in this are off the field there's going to be something that happens in this because there's bad blood between these teams anyway it's division we saw this with the bangles a couple years ago with them but if you're the Steelers especially that offense of line we're where we expect a fair amount of the retribution to come from you're worried about duck Hodges back there a quarterback for just the second time this year now in a way that you've got to account for tried over come as a group without a great player you mentioned to the office of line going back to the cash for thing the for the five five in all of this absolutely ludicrous like I would like to sit there with whoever it was was there a Brooks James thrash moves with appeals officers that dealt with that I don't know who is rendering these Fizer who reviewed this I guess my thing if I'm to Castro show me something I could have done which would have been less benign but still would have helped stop the fight I mean honestly yeah he tossed miles you're to the ground it was a malicious you laid on him then really probably as much to protect Pouncey from her stopping him as anything else Gary wasn't fighting back like those two were in anything even throw punches I jokingly said it but it is your only similar to Ben Simmons in that fight of the seventy Sixers were a part of where he's laying on top Ben Simmons was applying a sleeper hold their Dave kinda had him in the arm bar holding them back before you tossed him but it was this same idea if you have one guy in this they can claim the role of peacemaker and in a fight this violent Dave did far and away the least violent portions of any of this well and that's what obviously they'll go through the appeals process but that's why you feel about the the lingering effect on this there's so many people that feel like they just got wrong and you know whether it's whether they're right or wrong in feeling that or whatever led up to it you've got so many people that feel like they were wrong in this process I can't figure out how to manage whatever that emotional moment is going to be because ultimately that's gonna be one of the keys especially early in this game like how do you manage whatever your level of aggressive I mean as it as a talker like the first thing I'm doing is I'm running my mouth right yeah like I've gone fighter I'm glad you close again you guys fight for me on on Black Friday so that I can go out and get the deals I'm the I'm the just server I'm just going to stir things up from the get go the ability to control the motion is going to be key coming up next we'll head out to Jerry's world how much of a distraction is all of this coaching talk to the guys "And then obviously the touchdown catch when we get a look that we like he's a very special. Hey last thought you guys at one point this year two and four and now you're six and six point can you point out aside from the obvious the turnovers? What's the difference in your my couple of differences? You feel about this team? Now. I think that's probably your job. David have point out. The the key points in games. You want me to ask myself? I mean, we're just execute man making the plays that matter, you know. And I I think early on the season. I got tired of saying that we're close for two plays away or three plays away one play away. And you know, we're we're making those one one or two or three plays that make a difference in a game. And that's the NFL. That's that's how close it is. That's how good everybody is every week. You know, it's it's going to be the same thing next week. We gotta make those crucial plays make a difference in the game day. Congratulations, man, they stay. And that's our very own Dave Logan with your quarterback for the Denver Broncos, case keenum and case doing a better job taking care of the football given credit where Credit's due as he should. That's what good quarterback still. I think you know, we can answer. The why case keenum didn't wanna answer why they're suddenly doing better. And I think Dave kinda hit the nail on the head. When he was asking him. The question is taking care of the football. It's quick turn in the football over case. Keenum hadn't had any interceptions in the last four games. And that's been the difference. They've been three and one in those games. When he hasn't thrown an interception, and they nearly won that game against Houston. So that is in part the difference and they're winning the turnover battle. So the Broncos of now they're now plus eight on the season on the plus minus turnover rate. Which is a big deal. They measure takeaways giveaways, and they've got more takeaways then giveaways and even in today's game in a small sample. They had three takeaways compared to one giveaway so that's a plus too. That's how they measure that on a season basis on the season. Now, the Denver Broncos are plus eight which makes a difference in the game. Now, I'm gonna bring in my son Reese, who's been here, wink, wink, supposedly doing homework while I'm doing Broncos react, and he's just kind of like a caller he watches the game. He's got his opinions on the game's Reese, what are you have to say about Philip Lindsay and his play so far this season. He's an explosive player. You know, he jumps off the page when you look at him going from an undrafted college free agent seen him play with that mentality of me against the world. Just kind of you know, whatever I can do to get on the field. Just kinda oh, I play special teams o- on the return, man. Punt returns kick return being on the field. That's how you get seen jumping off the charts. Whether you're five foot one one ninety you know, you can make an impact he's he is a small guy. You're right. And I think that's what a lot of times. Scouts miss is that they can't measure the heart of a guy get so caught up on statistics and measurements and forty times and shuttle forty times, and how tall are you? How much do you weigh and this guy just takes on everybody? I think you're absolutely right mean, it's a great story for every underdog athlete out there, regardless of sport. Did you show if you put your mind to it and you play hard you can do anything whether you're playing football or not Reese, by the way is a lacrosse player. So does that inspire you to play better? Yourself and lacrosse to see a guy like that performance such a high level. It makes me realize that, you know, I'm size, and everyone, you know, I may not be as big as tall as everyone. But having the heart and willing to win and wanting to help your team, do whatever you can is how you're going to, you know, make the postseason for us in high school. You have to win every game. Nothing is a walkover. Anyone could come out and beat you. Everyone's got skill and talent it's just who wants to work. That's exactly right. Well, said well said so what do you think the the Broncos prospects are sitting here at six and six now they've got a chance to go to the play offs. What do you think that they have to win three or four or four four to get in so three or four make some nine and seven four four make some ten and six what do you think they need to be at the end of the season or get into the playoffs? This is pure speculation. But this is what we do in talk radio. Right. Four four would be the best option. When it comes down to wanting to get that last spot and not having to make an argument for you to get in over someone else. Who is just like, you know, if being ahead of them being I you got the automated go in and especially if you make it your that underdog. You got that mentality that you've had for these past three games of we're gonna win, and we're gonna do whatever it takes to make it. They're like we're still a Super Bowl contender and we can make the playoffs. I think you're absolutely right. When you can control your own destiny and not have to rely on other teams to win or lose and not have to worry about scoreboard watching. That's the best way. And the the not the easiest, but it's the way that you can control your own destiny getting in the playoffs. So I agree with you just go out and win right control. The controllables. You know, you can't control the weather. You can't control an injury. Someone gets hurt. You can you can control. How you play how you prepare. Whether you watch game fill the way game film, the way you eat the way. Hey, you sleep. Now, everything you can control that. But you can't control some of the stuff by how another team plays who placed who, you know. You gotta come on compete every week. You may be a coach someday. Good job. Good job race. All right. If you wanna call in a react to this Broncos game.

"We would bump he never liked the title. He always said it was too on the nose. Eventually. We got booked at the Montreal comedy festival. And and it took a lot of persuading to get Dave to even commit to going up there for festival money, you know, is three nights type pressure. We don't really have much of an act. You know, we have to suddenly define it and structure it and go. Oh, well, what would an ad look like, and what would our names look like in an ad. And then I finally got Dave to agree in the festival was excited and my agent. Stacey call me up and said, what's your show called? And I was like what we don't have a show. We just go on together at one in the morning. Yes. Well, they got to put something on the on the schedule. So I said let me call you back. I said Stacy what about just bumping Mike's? It said I like it call Dave make sure he's okay with it called. Dave hates it too. On the nose doesn't make any sense anybody is he hates most things. Yes. Yes. As negative. Sure. And when he finds other people that are negative. He likes that. Really? All right. He's odd like he can respect his own. So I pushed it with them. I pushed it with my really, Doug. And I said, no, this is the name. It's gotta be nothing. I the first time we ever went on tour before even that we did one tour date in Vegas, and we called it the ball busters tour. It was one show. Yeah. And that kind of made sense at the time, but. We're not really busting balls except for each other. And it's bigger than that where we got celebrities in the audience and each other and we have Iraq than there. So bumping Mike's. It is and now that it's coming out on Netflix. It's almost kind of surreal because I honestly. Imagine like you went fishing with your dad or or your brother for five years. And then suddenly it was a TV show. Like, it doesn't even make sense to us in a weird way. It's so casual we just set up for three nights at the comedy cellar and invited our friends and family down. We didn't really have much structure to it at all day won't prepare. I can't get them to talk to me before the shows about what we might do. So maybe I get him for forty five seconds in the stairwell before the show, and I go, hey, Bruce Willis is here. Maybe I'll, you know. Maybe if he doesn't seem to weird about it all introduce them. And then, you know, that's kind of it near off what I'll say like, hey, I really liked that stuff. We did about going to the gym. Maybe all right. I don't know maybe and then all set them up for a bit. And he just won't do it. So like planning with Dave is never good. Is that killer when you're like 'cause I imagine there's that sort of unspoken between like here, you go like you. That beautiful Aliyu. He's say fuck your alley. Oop. I it really is unbelievable because he will hit it out of the park every time when he takes it, but he doesn't like repeating himself which fascinates off. It's a softball. Sometimes. He'll let it fall on the floor. Just let it fall. And I get hurt by it. Because I feel like I it's like when you offer somebody something, and they reject you like when somebody gives you a piece of cake offer them a piece of cake, and they slap out of your hand. Dave kinda does that to me sometimes. But I also get it in that. It's not personal. He just doesn't repeat himself. He might repeat an idea every now, and then when the joke's not quite honed, he'll repeat it a few times to get it honed. But as soon as it's honed, it's out. That's fascinating. It's crazy. It's crazy. It's so, you know, it's I mean, it's very much I interviewed Vincent to frio on the pod. And you know, he's such a brilliant actor, and it's much in the spirit of great acting, which is like we're so tempted to repeat what worked in take one..

So this conversation in our house this weekend. What why doesn't p Davidson just let it go? How come you just can't stop with the ground thing? Let me tell you. Let me give you a good reason. They won four favorite reality show. They took the stage, and they talked about all the things that have been going on in California. It's been a rough we and our home in Calabasas hidden hills, and our neighbors in Thousand Oaks and Malibu our hearts are broken from the horrific shootings and those who have lost their lives and homes as well. As the hundreds of thousands of us that have been evacuated from the devastating fires that are currently burning as horrible as this has been. It's been amazing to see the resilient spirit of everyone involves and the heroism of those risking their lives on the front lines. The hero is, but I will tell you, you know. It's an entire continent away. So for some reason, if you're on the east coast, you're probably thinking about the devastation that's going on out there. As far as the fires go as much as you should with how many people lost their lives, so one at least right now. But there are hundreds of people are still missing homes. Yes. Droid and then Thousand Oaks just a few days ago, she talked about that as well. I mean, they're having a rough time of it over there. They are a part of our country. Just as if this was happening like Hawaii. You know, if it's Alaska doesn't matter how closer far away, it's a part of the US avai. And so whatever you're going to stay on top of the news. No what's going on. Because they're they're us and wear them and Miley Cyrus actually tweeted overnight that how her house burned down in Malibu, and she said completely devastated by the fires affecting my community. I am one of the lucky ones my animals and the love of my life. Kate made it out safely, and that's all that matters right now the house no longer stands. But the memories shared with family and friends stand strong, and I am grateful for all I have left sending so much love and gratitude. To the firefighters and the sheriff's department keep him on a lot of celebrities. You're hearing from them because their their lives are torn torn up. But there are a lot of more people who are not celebrities who don't have millions in the right to have locked everything to a few can't help out go online and figure out how to do it because you know, what when this happens in your community..

"Um we're we going here paul i'll window sent us the senate the upgrade the free upgrade so yes or what they announcement is tim s back in crude may i guess uh along with the surface laptop they said that they would provide the upgrade to windows ten pro for free to anyone through the end of the year not to surface laptop owners but anyone who a windows tennis to buy so low that's pretty much the only one you can buy at retail um as part of a it was kind of a weird thing that was like a an announcement about how they were expanding the availability of the different coloured versions of service lapped up microsoft also announced that they would be extending this free upgrade period through the end of march of next year and actually that's kind of a nice thing because a lot of people are gonna wanna buy this thing for back to school purposes right now or may be for the holidays christmas dave kinda think about it like if you woke up on christmas morning in mom and dad got your beautiful new service laptop or whatever you would have five or six days to determine whether or not you wanted to upgrade agosta which i don't know why you wouldn't but i i don't either but you know but anyway i i give microsoft credit because it kind of removes the uncertainty around this purchase um you know you have plenty of time to make this decision i will also say by the way that if you um you know yup gritted pro you can go back to ask not in line but you can reset it and go back to us and nothing will activate either way so you see for going forward the future you can put us on their you can put prone there it's my theory is that they can extend the free upgrade by indefinitely.
