MLB Spring training: A Look At the Detroit Tigers
"Innovative and all that I do think there's a chance of the Tigers offense could be better than people expect. And certainly the pitching staff could get to that point as well with all the young arms that they have. The problem is, I think they're very clearly the fifth place team in that division, so a lot of teams will take liberties with them will take advantage of them and also to keep in mind as you're watching spring training as you're kind of looking at these stats and the numbers and all of that. They're using a different baseball right now, then they will be using during the regular season and I don't know why Major League Baseball has not supplied those baseballs to the pictures for everyone to get used to them, but You know, we're also going to see Cold Weather games, which we didn't see last year early on in the season, so I think everybody offensively will be in for a rude awakening and the Tigers, probably to a higher degree. All right, So let me ask you, how does it happen when you have a Tiger's team and McGee Cabrera is still there, But when you have guys, I mean that line if they had just just a few years back Was like, ridiculous and you're going like this team. You know, they just need to, you know, sort of, and Verlander is still there And then all of a sudden now you look at that lineup and you look at the depth chart You like. Who are these guys? And they look, I know there's young prospects was always prospects, You know, cause you're trading away and you're dumping salary. I mean, Look, the Yankees are paying that luxury tax every year. I mean, they're going to make sure that they have their guys. It's It's tough for me to look at the Detroit franchise to where, you know. Pause. The mascot, maybe the best hitter on the team. It's one of those things where Mike Village in the Tigers were close, and Ellis was getting older. He knew this health was starting to fail all that he was going to stop at nothing to try and win a World Series with that team. And he had the right GM to do it. And Dave Dombrowski, whose very happy to spend a lot of the owner's money and then go somewhere else, So that was kind of the situation that happened there in Detroit was Village spent and spent and spent to try and get that world. Syria's before he passed away and it didn't happen. And then when his son took over the team, it was okay. We've got some really bad contracts that we need to unload. We either have to, you know, hope that we can jump in a time machine and fast forward things or make trades like the Verlander trade. You know, like getting rid of J. D. Martinez. Some of these guys that were very high priced players that were probably starting to reach the aging curve, starting to reach that point where they were going to start to decline a little bit faster. So that's just kind of what happened with the Tigers. And you know al Avila, whose the GM now came out and basically said, Look, We're not spending any money this year because we shouldn't we don't need to. We're planning our next year, so the Tigers probably will get that payroll back up. But hopefully it's it's smarter spending than

"We're GONNA have to figure out when the season actually yeah and I think I I unless I drive this has four pitches and I believe he threw another twelve or thirteen in in a in the pen afterwards so which gets fifty five sixty sixty so he might get stretched out to ninety by the end of the year he might man. That's a stretch seventy five seventy five. That's four innings for if you do seventy five Ben Hellers here. That's an interesting one. I didn't really expect to come across my radar. Ben Heller worked his way back his last seven games in in <hes> in his rehab nine innings three hits one thirteen strikeouts and is fine also the AAA season ended. <HES> derm took him down but he is last appearance was two shutout innings. No hits one walk five strikeouts. You're it can be a big arm. In this month. I loved when they got. They got it in the military right like I loved when they or now known as he ever pitched for us in the Big League did they. They got into military yeah. He's been in the big leagues before not long now but a decent amount I think let's see I'm trying to pull opener against Tommy. John Okay he's throwing eighteen innings in the big league the last in two thousand seventeen where he was good eleven innings point hit a point a two year in eleven innings actually into seventeen a little coincidence the other day or like last week or so. Scott through my twitter following no one following. Some people like trying to clean up the time line with that. You're fucking nuts with that shit. We gotta need to follow this person. I saw Ben Hiller and he he wasn't following me as someone following me back then it's like all right. I really you've never heard that name in a while like Providence. Keep following him now. He just lighting up the news. I'm just DOT COM. That's actually really funny. Debbie will not be here. I you know he just never really took that. Step this year. It looked like once you got the AAA and he'll he'll be a factor next year for sure. He'll be definitely a big part in the in the weeks but not not in the cards for this October coming up in September stretch runs. That's okay but what is cashman a gamble not getting a starter and relying on Severino and Montgomery to come back here and the chances and Debbie Garcia is this you know there was dangled ever wanted him. He was being demanded by a bunch of teams and we're not even using him. September October. were at the time flash. Go back two months ago and people think Debbie Garcia my make starts in October or like appearances dances October and feeling confident about that so he's not going to be here that just like the gamble that cashman took and it looks like it's going to be okay for now you know. Severino looks like he's cooking and coming back Montgomery same type of deal batanes EST encouraging to just took a big gamble. He's probably big sigh early for cash with me because those guys severing wasn't able to get back here and seeing what Montgomery and Alan and you're not using Debbie. That's a bad look really bad. Luck so it paid off from and we gotTa Win. The world series about what's the latest with him. I thought we were everything was fine. No I fakty the only topping out at ninety four makes me worried they still but that's all they keep saying the villa. Don't worry about that. It's all about movement and look and location these days because it's still <hes> he's still working his way back up in spring training modem he in spring training. He doesn't hit ninety nine like weeks so I think he might be hard. He might be humming around ninety nine. One hundred right for October like right perfectly in time for that and what else do we got here. What's the latest and Giancarlo obviously like I. I watched the Yankees weekend but like I was a little intoxicated with Giancarlo took five at bats in a simulated game game so we're just scientists..

"Sees back Wednesday Severino so we did if you haven't done with the Barstool bets APP yet do it. It's so much fun. We're getting into the gambling business full full throttle this point Barcelona's fantastic tastic so me and Tommy. We did a livestream Friday night for anyone was short porch. People were tune in for that we appreciate you but there's all these different contests and whatnot so so we did a twitter now. Barcelo stream and during that night during Friday Severino was pitching. That man is back three innings one-run foreheads. It's five strikeouts forty four pitches thirty three strikes that's great and he was just sitting at ninety seven the whole fucking way all those v low issues although the slaughter now his slider back up to where it should be. Severino was common and he's coming with fury and I can't wait. He's got one more start or Wednesday. They say once that goes well. He's back in New York. Let's go talk in the tiny takes the mound for Yankee Stadium. Martin River is gonNA be so satisfying. We've waited a year with the team in a God damn year. We haven't seen a pitch in the major leagues like get me Severino L. Let me see I don't know what do you do what you were taking a panorama of your room in the dark. No is how my phone now. I know the way you were like spitting on your chair and Spinney spinach like you're taking a panoramic picture and I was like this bizarre Columbia. I'm stoked suffering because where I was going with that. Yeah also way back to dimicco to someone brothers supplement this weekend so we're trying to plant the rotation right and what we've come to right now as Paxton Game One Tanaka game two in case Paxton isn't good and game once we need a veteran presence game too but to Mingo pitches much better at home. Does that change anything so I was thinking about this before. I've literally having the same exact conversation. Listen with this myself. Earlier is our saying Paxton is becoming a game on starter. We like Tanaka in game. Two because I mean you have to pitchers into Tanaka in Domingo who are just way better yeah and I think I'm leaving game three. ARE THEY PAXTON GAME ON TO NAFTA GAME two in case they lose like Tanaka at home when the playoffs nails and then just hope to Mingo is O'Kane game three. I I don't know unless you and you think like okay. Well tonight. Goes the more experienced pitcher maybe he needs home-field less than Demingo on at the same time I'd rather have knocking game two and chasing loose game one saw I've seen the thing is like yeah. Democracy Domingo's splits her very the different home and road but I have seen now. I've also been talking to you this but I've also I've seen Domingo. Go on the road in huge spots lots this year and absolutely fucking. Shove Boston probably the game of the year where you were going to look back and say like what games for the turning points and everything not getting swept in a four-game series and domingo shoving his balls down the red sox throat and then Sunday night was massive massive outdueling sale. I believe that night right and then in the dodgers series Yankees one nine hundred fifty in a dodger series he pitched again on Sunday and it's Kershaw too so I seen him. Pitch on the road against very good team will one very good team once shitty team but big moments. It's big so that might play something into it too. I don't know yeah I also like to me. Domingo's stuff is so electric that had when he's on I just feel like it doesn't matter what stating or playing that sort of how I think of it and I know I know. Obstinate has been the case because he's he's got killed on the road a bit but I still going Paxton Tanaka Domingo unless then if severino sounds good. Are you doing the bullpen game right yeah. I don't know and also Yeah Severino what we what are we getting him. Back at. Pitch Count was obviously trying to figure out the roster shit. We're GONNA have to figure out when the season actually yeah and I think I I unless I drive this has four pitches and I believe he threw another twelve or thirteen in in a in the pen.

"Even when he's pitching good makes any sense I I guess we'll count Seattle's good star because it's three hundred and five seven ks this and the Yankees did win the game so last three starts. He's got a one five six going. Seventeen third innings opponents hitting ninety three to pretty good getting three hits his last two starts. I mean I can't see him being no. We're not doing this none. We we can't do this. I was GONNA say. I can't see me number. He can't be the rotation. He can't won't allow. It won't be in the plan for a t shirt but I could see them. Be Like we like is going to play out of the pad or some bullshit like that. I don't like it. I like it one bit I don. I obviously Great Yankees are winning. We're keeping pace with the astros who who are in the football mode and they score twenty. One fucking runs on Sunday. Garrett Cole struck on another fifteen guys what his problem i. I went to check around enough. <unk> owes left the game at <unk> teams around the League today folks on football so the raise one again they I would. I mean what division to knock down other number so the Astros scored twenty one as I just laughed like Jesus Christ. I mean your goal eight inning. I mean he was a perfect game today. If he didn't go you give a home run and then just nothing else fifteen strikeouts. Let Me Review Gary Cole's last four starts six these John Against Great Teams Colorado Detroit Tampa Milwaukee. Okay whatever six innings to runs ten ks no walks seven innings. No runs twelve KS one walk six into third four earned fourteen case one walk six innings one earned fourteen k's days to walks and then today whatever the fuck you went today fifteen strikeouts and I don't know what the full salary here. Here's the full stat line. It's it's <hes> eight innings. One run fifteen ks no walks. I mean what the Fuck I'll just say. I wanted hated through on Eh. I don't care for this guy. I don't want anything to do with him. Not over pets is ridiculous what he's walking. He wanted them striking. Everyone and usually it's only going six innings maximize like I know he went eight on Sunday but like he consistently went seventeen innings. He struck out almost twenty game. It seems like ridiculous. Check use but back to this weekend's obviously great stuff from HAP- Tanaka Liz good start it kind of felt parts. Were not the best start but better than what he's done in the past against the red sox this year. He's been terrible like take out. We were saying we'll give it the RUKO interview you you take out his starts against the red sox. He's like by top ten pitcher in the American league this year so he got back on track today. It's about in the playoffs offs though right so so that's what I'm getting to here yeah when he was eight to forty eight to five now red SOx fans. They flip the pay. Hey you know they got 'em Antonio Brown on their team now. They're they're patriots now. They're undefeated season mode but it's just I did such a good chuckle. The the ten fans lessen the standard channing Yankees suck. I mean we're about to be true for the thirteenth time this year. You know to be thirteen. Five could be fourteen eighteen five win on Monday night. We've taken the division from you. I'm sure you might still be the defending champs right this very second but that won't last much longer <hes> chain Yankee suckers is just pretty much fear..

"I'm like it's football Sunday. You can't just edit route like I don't know because I was just really annoyed. So I kind of feel bad gave my book like success obsess. anyways the Yankees are really good still baseball <hes> they have reset their home run record from last year which is just going under the only like seven or eight back of Minnesota for the also doesn't feel the same way since it's not the record well it might be. We'll be worse like seven back. Noble in saying like to sixty isn't record like the twins. Oh right yeah yeah but that could easily I mean we got three weeks of baseball left and we're seven back and we got stand coming back. I feel like you know that that could definitely be in our in our grasp. A glare tour as is not a home run hitter yet. He has thirty five home runs this year and he's only twenty two years old so that's that's just that's happening and Kevin. KFC's continues the Senate. He'll be a bust. I have no idea what he sees. The see that or think that tors is one of the best players in baseball we still saying nobody saying that a couple of months ago. He's not so say a couple of weeks ago. He will like randomly walked by me. He was like watching watching a game. I'll go on the laptop and he was like glacier towards the bust. I'm like what possibly could bring you to that conclusion person. Who doesn't the guy he's bringing? It goes to show you like how good Labor's been quite like. How quietly good he's been like. He's not getting those it was crazy. Headlines like judge got two years ago Gary Guts when he goes on to he's just been so consistently very solid that he's just not owning one's radar but he's I'm a fucking forty home runs. He's he's about to break the Yankees Middle Infielder homerun record. I think Schori on with thirty nine. He's fourth of that. It's September eighth. He's going to get there. It also just shows you. It's scouts no nothing sometimes where they're like. Oh yeah he's not going to have major league power. Just couldn't be more wrong. I mean he hits Bob's. Maybe twenty twenty five home runs when he gets his peak. It's no not even not even my name twenty three and four on it yeah judge guy. He's still pretty good hit. Another homer compared Ammann's doing his thing and they're just rolling again man. I mean even like J. HAP- pitching well right now. That's what he knows. Things are going good. Let me tell tell you this. This stat dropped my jaw left-handed Yankee pitchers back to back games of six innings plus six or more innings. no-one runs two hits. Your fewer is two names on this list. Are J. Hat that I'll say Whitey Ford. I've studied someone among how `Bout Pettit Oh wow no. It's not but it's not bad. I couldn't believe it wasn't padded. It's I could see that being pedic gingery gives you yeah that makes eighty cents because I mean he was he was dominant. He was those electric anybody. Gigiri and HAP HAP is the second cut in this Leslie. Why in the world and typically captain J finally beat the Red Sox good for him. That's what he's brought over here. Do He did his job. You know now that that deals worth earth every penny everything almost almost at the point now where I'm getting a little afraid that if he's pitching so you're gonNA work as lamps off roster. Oh Yeah oh I mean Ruko was like right. They couldn't wait to tweet about it like how he's like here. He comes. He's so let's see. H- APPS last. He's only had two starts in early right something longer than that. Let's see I don't want to get the wrong. He always feels like he's pitching bad to me..
Red Sox's Chris Sale to miss rest of MLB season with elbow injury
"There is not a Tommy John surgery in the immediate future of Chris sale that according to the Boston Red Sox however their eighties will be shut down for the next six weeks after consultation with doctor James Sanders all that so ominous whenever you have a consultation with Dr James Andrews Chris sale's diagnosis was confirmed he does have inflammation in his left elbow it didn't bother him in his last start which was a week ago but he was treated with a plasma in injection I got to do what I wrote my page I I wrote down some notes as always about some of the the big topics for the show I wrote down treated with the plasma infection in it's a good thing I caught myself there he treated with a plasma injection platelet rich plasma injection which is supposed to help speed up the reduction in the swelling but he has been shut down for six weeks which essentially would take him out for the rest of the regular season the red Sox are still technically part of the American League wild card race I think we can essentially eliminate them from me AL east race there now sixteen games back though they have won five in a row but the World Series champs right now if you're looking at the wild card standings are six out of that second while Kerr which currently is in the possession of the Tampa Bay rays interesting to hear what former baseball general manager Jim Boden had to say about the sale injury on CBS sports H. Q. firstly we know is that the red Sox Dave Dombrowski Chris sale and the medical people are not being transparent and they're not telling us the whole story so what we do know is he had the first MRI in Boston they saw something they didn't like and they sent the Jim Andrews and Birmingham Alabama same thing I always did when I was GM of the Reds are nationals you get a second opinion you always go to Dr Andrews to get that now he came out afterwards and said well it's inflammation the elbow and now we can avoid Tommy John surgery for now for now that's the ominous part for now let's hope that it is that for now and for always for Chris sale because I I always hated for pictures sort or any baseball player would have to go through the Tommy John button at this point I think they've got a more hopeful than positive there's no way to know if it's going to get better of it's going to get worse if he's gonna need that surgery but it would be far worse for the red Sox after the big contract they gave him if he was out for next season as well right now six eleven so it's not been a season that he would say is is anywhere close to his standard with a four point four zero we are right he does have a really good a strikeout to walk ratio and a lot of this has to do with the ball Pat a lot of this has to do with you the offense behind in its it was a miserable start for the red Sox rotation and they never really fully recover but the bullpens been even worse so it's just it's not been a season that the champs would've expected with relatively the same line up just obviously what's the difference in the bull pen so Chris sale pretty much out the rest of the

"Here's what you're gonna do. It really sounds to me like people have juries ear little bit, and maybe that's gonna point him in the right direction. But I I guess that is a question. He's been a GM for eight plus years. Kanagawa by like that in his position while he's focused on so many different things three hundred sixty five days a year, actually, get better to the point at drafting in developing to the point where it makes a significant difference in the organization, you know, we talked about this on the last podcast. We did write about, Jerry. I said, you know, and the clip somewhere, but the point was Jerry didn't doesn't have people around him as yes met shirt around that people around him that will push back a little bit and give their opinion. And I don't believe that you can surround yourself be successful people with different ideas every day with star series and a bunch of different areas. And if you don't have people that are going to challenge, you you're not gonna get any better only listen to yourself, right? And if you know if he's made that switch and good for him. I think at least a little bit to what extent I don't know that's difficult to tell him obviously, not in that front office. But we used to hear the stories of Billy Beane. Theo Epstein for Dave Dombrowski for years and in in. What I was sitting in my office. And Joe schmo came up with this thought and said, hey, you got a second. And we came up with this idea that we thought. Yeah. Let's do this. And you're like, okay. These guys are collaborators like yes, it's on him. But these guys are collaborators. I mean, those are famous stories about THEO Epstein when a free agent when an agent for for a free agent goes and talks to the Red Sox. They're eleven guys in the room, and they're all engaging in the conversations, and they're all involved and their opinion matters. When you go to Seattle, you're talking to one guy that was the story not only with Jerry, but with Jack early on. But with Jerry, I think that's changed a little bit it, and we started to hear some stories about how hey that that trade with Tampa wouldn't come together of Jerry wasn't listening to some of the young people. He's brought on to to to contribute to their baseball operations department. And they went out and made that deal and that was the Denard span Alex column deal early in. What was that? In may. I think it's changing again, I think the question is how much how far will he allow that to go and? What kind of a difference does that make of drafting and develop because now he's got his guy at at scouting drummer year one. It was still McNamara with with Jerry here. It's been Scott hundred for the last couple years. So I guess we'll see he's got his guy here. I'm not sure if he really had his guy in Anaheim or not. But I guess we'll see that. That's why I'm in. You know, the jury is out on that portion of what Jerry DiPoto can or can't do. But you're right that the track record says, no. But do I just stick with the track record? I kind of sit back and watch that he's on the right? And it's not fun to save because, you know, pretty close to my heart. Sure. Sure. I feel like he's earned the right with what he's done to retool. The bigly Rosser and man, then entry mortuary. It was great. Long best traded straight ever made in your mind, right? Twenty grand for Babe Ruth. But you got something for Andrew more better significantly better. Yeah. Got a Cup of coffee. Back. Online is to me that was a great trade. And and he's done a good job. So because he's done a good job plenum position to compete with prospects. Or guys that maybe there development can get something out of the big level sooner rather than later earned the right to see if you can grass. I'm not sold yet. And it's gonna take me a minute Flesch's guys develop turn off some guys have been urp. Can't hold him and gives injuries that happens. Right. Especially position players guys have their element slowed. And there are some successes..

Just meeting the Yankees are I'd say one of the younger teams in the b. I know the fans keep trying to talk about how they're still rebuilding your necessarily rebuilding if you're making it to the playoffs year after year. Just a matter of your young guys just developed the right talk and looking at the Red Sox, their farm system is terrible. Dave Dombrowski did a good done a good job to basically how do you say got the farm system to get guys like Chris sale, which obviously was a decent trade there. But you also did go after guys like drew Pomeranz obviously that hasn't necessarily worked out. And Dave Dombrowski is done that wherever he's supposed to Detroit go to the farm system there to win now and Troy currently is one of the worst teams in the league paid for by bureau. Yeah, you can't just pink now, especially in baseball because one season. Yeah, you may win the World Series, but you're not going to contend for like the rest of the decade. If you don't have a farm system and I'd say maybe the Red Sox are the only team could possibly get away with it. 'cause I said, I mean, the -troit's currently paying for it. Now you look at it, the Red Sox have money to spend, and but with the Detroit, they had one World Series appearance and loss and got swept. And he was in. And is that worth it? No, yeah, definitely. Not because I look at them. They're in one of the worst division in the league, and even then can't even be one of those right now they be feasting. Yeah, I mean, the twins, terrible the world, apparently terrible. And then you got the edge by the. Yeah, if they still had some players to work with their. Major if. Yeah, and then like I said, leading the Yankees. I mean, we talked about it on Friday. The possibility of them playing a wildcard game at home or on the road or Oakland. Do you think Oakland is a will be a tough place to play in that wildcard game if they have to head there? Because I mean, you look at it the as fans have it necessarily showed up this season. And even then as the postseason approaches, they're still not showing up. I think it's when the postseason went to physically the postseason and they make it, it's to be a packed regardless what team is in the playoffs. It's give me a packed house because you look at it. I think the as have great fans, but it's just a matter of how many fans do they actually have. I'd say the giants probably have a much larger fan base. Would you say so? Yeah, CISCO's bigger media market than. And I would say this is the recent sister the past success. The giants have overshadows the success in the seventies when they won like three in a row. So I think if the as do make the plows and it does become a home field game for them that there might. It just depends on if people are motivated enough to go. You're right about that. But if they do go in that house is packed, it's be hard to play in. Yeah, especially considering. So you'll get the Yankees. Haven't necessarily been as good as on the road as they have been on home. And I mean, they're gonna gang. He's home record. I believe currently they have these second best home record. That's right behind Boston. Let me see the Yankees currently fifty three and twenty eight at home. Looking at the rest of the league. There's anyone currently over fifty wins besides the Red Sox, the cubs would be the next best team at forty seven and twenty. Actually, the raise, actually the raise really got the short end of the stick to season..

"I think you've got Mitch. I think you've got some property, but the way another talk about gentle, managing for minute. Steve Pierce is making Dave. Dave Dombrowski look good, Ian Kinzler sure. Made them look good last night with three hit rate, including an opposite still hit. Who did he in? Kids are used to play for. I can't. Here we go by. Oh. Album that keeps giving and giving and giving. That's right. The Tigers. But he made a plane, Mitch. Don't you think Mitch, doesn't this give you a rooting interest? Not just in one team, but all the teams until Houma Tigers have given. Seems Dave Dombrowski takes more than most between price and JD Martinez and Kinzler and by the way native all the Bob volley is, you know, obviously it's just one starting as you just said, one start doesn't prove anything. He looks like he's going to be a better pickup for the Red Sox. Then either Lynn or j. half of Ben hats not going on the disabled list and Bob, here's the other thing. That's interesting. And Bob, Mitch, we thought for the first part of the season that if there was one team that needed other than the Astros to add a relief pitcher, it was the Red Sox, except their bullpen has been Bob. You kind of kept saying they're not that bad. They stood Pat at the trade deadline, and they're going with the guys they have not that they didn't try to get Britain, but they did not have the wherewithal to do so and but we know that they did try. But yes, they have to go with what they got one. They got back Tyler thornburg whom they had traded for and missed all of last season in the aftermath of Tommy John is now back and starting to look like the guy who was a a under the radar, very good reliever for the brewers two years ago. He's he's back into mix so that that's important important one, I, it's going to be the big question. It is their their biggest area of concern. They appear to address to second base situation that they had. They. They may have been found a third baseman yellow night when Blake Swihart. So there's not is only nitpicking complaints that you can make about the Red Sox right now, really and truly acceptable sale thing. I am. So I'm just worried I two ways look at the sale thing. You say, after all the protection that they've given him and yet he still comes up with shoulder soreness. At this point, this is where we some or you say, this is part of the plan that in years past he would have pitched this automatically, but now because of the way that they're training him and the way he's thinking, he's not going to didn't do it, and he's going to wait till he's feeling better match. You know, it's funny there was a lot of talk about this today, especially in the Boston paper, the globe about how Alex Cora is managing the long game here. Okay. The other Bob Whitten. What night did he give bets off this week and people giving him the second game with the Phillies Tuesday night. He Mitch. He gave them a day off. It was a game. They lost right Bob. Yes. And. Ever said, oh, man, if only we'd had them, you know what? He did last night with a little rest. He had. He went four for four, and he was on base six times. That's an when you look at the team, luxury of of having that kind of cushion. And I'll tell you said something very interesting and I want to look at it while you guys were talking. If the Yankees come out of this series, let's say they dropped to more of the of the next three. They may want to readjust their sites to say, we've got to make sure we keep Oakland and Seattle far enough behind us. Then we gotta go catch Boston because there's only room for two teams and they're only five and a half up on Oakland and six up on Seattle Oakland's playing the Tigers this weekend, so you can kind of count some wins in there and that whole thing could tighten up. It's not inconceivable although it just seems unbelievable given the season they've had that, you know, if they start tumbling, they're in danger of falling out of the wild cards..
