The disabled vehicle near Prince William Parkway was towed out of the travel lanes, all of which are now open. 95 south found some slow traffic and separate stretches through Stafford county. Beltway traffic is also slow between maclean and Bethesda as it is on the Italy through Silver Spring and both loops near lanham and landover, prince George's fire, rescue looking for a report of a fire at the branch avenue interchange, caller did see smoke. 95 northbound slow from 32 toward 100 roadwork on the left, now we've got a crash on 29 northbound, near route 40. We had one there yesterday and the day before that. There are a lot of individual incidents out there right now. We're not going to be able to list all of them, but there is one long-standing issue on the southeast Southwest freeway. It's a pickup that's been broken down and sitting in the center of the freeway for more than an hour, three 95 southbound at main avenue at the split. It's still disabled there, two left lanes getting by toward the four T street bridge, right lanes are getting high toward downtown and the title basin. In Virginia, on 95, the truck crashed southbound after lorton is on the right shoulder, the most recent crash near the truck way station blocking the right side. And on the outer loop of the beltway, it was a crash after route 7. That's back on the shoulder. On the Italy, it's very slow getting across the legion bridge and into Maryland on two 70 northbound two crashes near 28 and before middlebrook road both got put onto the shoulders, but it remains slow anywhere between the spur and the Germantown exits. We have new crash reported on the Baltimore Washington Parkway, northbound, your four 50, and a really serious pedestrian crash in edgewater, closing part of route two and central avenue. Central avenue is blocked both ways between pike ridge road and route two is blocked southbound, south of there, and both ways in the vicinity of two 14. We got major delays east of davidsonville, near edge water because of this one. And southbound route two traffic is backed up way before the south river, almost to route 50. Route 50 traffic is doing okay between buoy and the bay bridge as potentially and alternate route to this disruption. And the investigation in edge water. We were watching the broken down van in our Kobe consulting camp for about an hour, just a minute ago, the driver and a passer by a helper managed to drive off of the freeways right lane. And head eastbound. So whatever the mechanical problem was, they got it rectified. And all eastbound lanes are open on 6 95. If you're heading toward the navy yard or the 11th street bridge. On two 95, volume delays are much less intense. This afternoon than they were yesterday at around the beltway rush hour already showing signs of starting to ease and wind down. It's still slow on portions of the beltway mainly in Maryland on the beltway through landover and Silver Spring and Bethesda. But the delays are less intense than they were last hour, two 70 north bound slow. Mainly north of clarksburg, near 80 or banna. And the Frederick rush hour is still going on north and southbound on 15 and westbound on 70 between the beltways, Baltimore, Washington Parkway, have a audit off between green belt and Laurel, some slowing on 95 southbound south of 150 looking good between the beltway. You're getting by to the center and the right component of that crash is now on the right shoulder as well. Volume delays in the Baltimore Washington Parkway never found the crash, southbound at one 98, think they went back and serve as minor delays on 95 between 32 and route 100. Top traffic incident remains in Arlington, George Washington memorial Parkway, southbound diverted, onto the key bridge toward Georgetown, the southbound lanes of the Parkway blocked between the key and Roosevelt bridges coming on from the beltway or at one 23. Don't go southbound on the George Washington Parkway. You'll regret it Northbound though, you are good to go toward the beltway, only minor delays near four 95, but on 66 and three 95 from the D.C. freeway is in bridges toward the beltway and especially around the beltway and beyond the beltway. It is a slow Friday in progress. It is soggy. There have been a few spin outs and minor rear end crashes here and there throughout the afternoon. None at the moment that raised any alarms, slowing down headlights on. It'll take longer to get from point a to point B with the volume delays on 95 in Maryland and in Virginia, the Baltimore Washington Parkway and whatnot. But again, the incidents have been mostly relegated to the outside lanes and shoulders. At the bay bridge, weather conditions will not allow for two way traffic, eastbound delays began back near beta drive. You'll be limited to the eastbound bridge band. Dave dildy and WTO pay traffic. There's a wit advisory effect from 10 a.m. until 3 o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday for the next several hours, some light rain or drizzle, but later tonight, rain likely moderate to heavy at times ending before sunrise. It's going to turn breezy. Low mid 30s to lower 40s early tonight with this temperature to rise overnight as a warm front comes through. We'll turn the clad in quite windy on Saturday with a gust up to 50 miles an hour at times, highs up for 50s, partly to mostly sunny with lighter winds on Sunday, a high near 60. Between davidsonville and Bowie on route 50 as authorities were taking steps to move the damaged cars involved in a crash out of the westbound lanes near the patuxent river, a crash happened in the eastbound rubbernecking backup and callers describing several cars that were going eastbound that crashed and went sideways, eastbound on 50 near route three closer to buoy. In this case, you get by to the right. Westbound, the crash west of four 24 is on the right shoulder, but the right lane was blocked by the highway safety truck. In brandywine and route three O one, north and southbound traffic still slow, northbound north of bratty wine crossing before shore cut road. You're getting by a crash and a burned vehicle by staying right. Southbound, the apparatus arrived at a block the left, but I think all the southbound lanes are now open on 5 and three O one. 95 and the Baltimore Washington Parkway, a few slow stretches here and there two 70 northbound bogging down and gave hersberg in Virginia just volume delays on 66, three 95 and 95. And in the district, it is a work zone on New York avenue near New Jersey avenue, inbound traffic is very slow out of eckington and northbound traffic out of the third street tunnel is slow toward that one as well. We're still watching the accident scene on the outer loop of the beltway. It's actually on the ramp that takes you onto northbound two 70, our Dave dill dime did send us an image of this is actually blocking that fart left lane and looking at the camera, it looks like a few of those emergency vehicles are actually pulling away now. So within another few moments, you should have all lanes available to you, but be cautious and regardless, it does sound like one vehicle was off of the roadway and into the wooded area so it's possible that despite the lanes being open, there might still be some activity over on the shoulder as they try to handle that situation. Again, this is on the outer loop of the beltway, trying to head northbound onto I two 70. Otherwise, two 70 looks great, no delays between Frederick and the beltway. If you're doing any traveling, headed up towards hayers town, for example, you're not going to see any delays. If you're coming down towards Frederick from Hagerstown, you will see a work zone. There are actually over on the shoulder just before or rather just as you make way past the exit for 66. So be aware of that, no real slow down there. Just be aware of the cones that will be over on the right hand side. Inside the bell way things are quiet, 50s up to speed, VW Parkway, even D.C. two 95 looks great in either direction, no slowdowns on the southeast Southwest freeway, as you make your way over towards three 95. In Virginia, for the most part, everything looks awesome. Very few work zones, the one that I am noticing though is going to be on the eastbound side of the dulles toll road. They were out there last night. They're out there again tonight and they will be until 7 a.m.. What's going on? Well, the east bound ramp from the dulles toll road and access road from both onto the northbound side of four 95 is closed. You can not head on to northbound four 95 that is to say you can not head on to the inner loop of the beltway from the dulles toll road, keep that in mind and it does seem like part of the ramp from the inner loop onto westbound toll road is also partially blocked. We're going to take a look here at the outer loop of the beltway the ramp that takes you onto northbound two 70, say thank you to Dave dill dine out there for letting us know exactly what's going on. The outer loop of the beltway onto northbound two 70, that ramp has the left side blocked right now for some crash activity. Maryland Department of Transportation says at least one vehicle off of the roadway, so be extra cautious. Remember, you know, we often say when it's wet roads to be careful on ramps, but just in general, be careful on ramps. You are going very, very fast, and then you're turning abruptly. You know, I've got to be careful. Again, the left lane is blocked, so stay to the right hand side of the roadway to get by. You should not see any delays, just be careful again, as you try to get onto the ramp itself. I 95 BW Parkway looking good, 50 looks great from the beltway out towards the bay bridge and you got your standard traffic patterns, no work zones closing the westbound span tonight. You're good as far as that's concerned. Inside the beltway, 50 looks good, and no issues as you make your way onto New York avenue. Looks like it's a little crowded in your bladensburg road, but nothing to write home to mom about. And third street tunnel looks good. Southeast southwest freeway looks great, though the ramp to south capital street looks a bit crowded. I'm not hearing any reports of any crashes just yet. However, I did hear from a listener that the southbound side of the third street tunnel, the ramp that takes you onto three 95 towards Virginia is partially blocked, sounds like some sort of police activity somebody got pulled over there on the left hand side of the roadway. So as you head southbound on the third street tunnel approaching the ramps to take you to three 95 and 6 95, you will likely find one of those troopers out there with another person. So be extra cautious for them. Looking for a safe use car, well if it's

Our Mondays and Fridays generally pretty easy and then the middle of the week still a little worse or do you see something different? Yeah, generally that's still the case. I don't have any new analytics or data to back that up. But Friday afternoons used to be the most feared because of more telework now, though, Mondays and Fridays, a little bit easier. The warm weather rule that can always throw a wrench into it. Any idea of whether we're level not that I'm dreaming of the bad old days of Monday through Friday, the beltway jammed constantly. We remember all that. It's nice to be able to kind of be able to count on getting to your destination pretty quickly, but any sense of whether we ever get back to that. Well, you get a taste of it on warm weather days like today. There are places where we don't have rush hours anymore like the dulles toll road, more white collar workout and herndon and Sterling out on the two 67 corridor. That remains to be seen. "Here at home we could see record temperatures in the 80s this afternoon. Keep it here on WTO for full details in the minutes ahead. Two 48. Leaving D.C. on the southeast Southwest freeway from 6 95 and three 95 into Virginia, it is slow, but they are picking up the works on the 14th street bridge and about to reopen that right lane. Meanwhile, heading inbound on three 95, there's a crash on the May and span of the 14th, and that blocks the right lane near that little turret. And so that's going to slow the pace off the northbound GW Parkway on the Parkway northbound after spout run. They had the left lane blocked, the lane closures beyond chamber, which rode are clear on the interloop of the beltway. It is tough right now through Tyson's traffic is backed up to near I 66 because of the work zone beyond the dulles toll road that's still blocking the right lane on the inner loop. On the outer loop, heading for the Wilson bridge, it is slow, but a little steadier, at least the crash in the work zone clear new route one. The vehicles that were damaged are on the left shoulder of the local lanes, but all local lanes and both through lanes are open. Three 95 northbound after edsel road, by the way, they picked up the works on reopen the right lane. Rude one, southbound, your gunston cove, traffic is backed up. Southbound because of a work zone bringing traffic on one down to one lane 95 works better through woodbridge. And in Maryland on 95, the northbound pace has improved Baltimore bound to works under 8 95 as clear, but southbound traffic is still slow through Elk ridge because of road work beyond one 75, blocking the right travel lane. Two 70, no complaints between Rockville and Frederick, route 50 is good through buoy at Annapolis and at the bay bridge.
