"Four 18 Traffic and weather on the 8th let's go over to Dave Dale bond in the WTO traffic center D.C. route two 95 jammed pretty badly northbound from the 11th street bridge off Pennsylvania avenue and into northeast benning road past Burroughs avenue the tie up has been before the eastern avenue underpass where crashes often happen The vehicles along with response still blocking the right lane northbound on two 95 heading for the D.C. Maryland line only two left lanes have been getting pi for more than an hour now long enough for traffic to work around on New York avenue It's going to be extra slow past the signals into northeast on New York after that is an option Three 95 freeway traffic heavy between the third street tunnel and 14th street bridge but without incident on the freeway it's a slow afternoon all across the region and a lot of places We've got a mix of errands Commuting traffic and maybe some COVID testing And also the early holiday travel there's the Friday before the Friday before the holiday and this is typically at least tracking with 2021 This has been when we get the bulk of our getaway traffic when you may not be expecting it and volume delays sure enough got going early around the beltway and up and down 95 through Maryland Han Virginia No no let up there Long stretches of slow moving traffic around the beltway and up and down 95 but nothing outrageous just more traffic than maybe your typical Friday but within the range of what you'd expect for this time of the year And as far as incidents go they've actually been pretty few outer loop near one 23 Tyson's had one broken down in the left lane but I think they did manage to get that over onto the right shoulder Between Potomac and Rockville falls road and you're tuckerman lane under police direction at whatever remains of a recent crash Dave delta and WTP traffic Storm team four four day forecast Dallas find out what's going on with Matt riddle A few scattered light showers this evening and temperatures in the 50s going down into the mids upper 40s overnight tonight the showers will end before morning.
