"Out. That's it. Yeah. I think so. Okay. So now, okay. So here's some like this fun. Little stuff gay. You're gonna go the biggest loser. Because because we have because as we because it's only right. It's only we have to. I mean here you are. I mean, it's like an ample opportunity. I can't I can't let it go without asking you is there any kind of. I don't know. Good juicy kind of behind the scenes stuff that you can share with us that happens. Like, how's it really what happens on like a show like that? I'm like a weight loss show. Do we full were you wearing a bud in your ear? Gimme some like give me something behind the scenes stuff where people can be like, oh, I didn't know that happens. Never had a never anything my ears. Everything that you saw was me everything you saw. I think with all of the coaches were their original voice was their own self. I will say a lot of people don't know. But. Biggest loser has a higher percentage of people hooking up. Then the bachelor. No fact, it's a fact really that is a thou- mean do the research. You've never told me that really fact. Yeah, I mean. Yeah. I think about it though. But you're sequestered for how long they don't some time. Well, four months and then go home for a month. And then you know, what I mean? But that's a long period of time with no television dose cell phone, no television, either. I guess that's computing. I mean, if they do it's for a quick ten minutes per person, and that's it. So what is supposed to do? If you're not gonna be on the phone beyond the on on your computer, besides work out, forty hours. How many how much do they working out every day? We'll have you have twenty four hours a day. Nothing to do you have this beautiful backdrop how many times a day and you're competing for quarter of a million dollars. Right. So how many hours would you work out constantly? But so they're worked for two hours at a time rest for a couple of hours, go back and work for three hours or two hours at a time. You know, so they'll they'll put the time in. 'cause what else are you going to do the how many hours a day, would you say altogether altogether eight maybe nine so how about injury aren't people going to get injured from working out that many hours you're going to get introduced by the way, if you do that for nine hours straight? But the example, I just gave you nine times out of drank won't get injured if you work for two hours US for a couple hours and mind, you the workout isn't we're not talking cross fit intensity where saying hiking. We're saying cardio. We're saying riding a bike. We're saying lightweights, right? Well, I mean, it's not crazy. Some of them could be crazy. I mean, how many hours a day were you working out with them? Because actually did more time off camera than I did on working on that show. And that really wasn't about it was it was about being competitive of with the other versus the other trainers. But it had more so to do with building trust with the contestants. Right. Yeah. Because I here they're secure. They're sequestered from their families night. They're they're more or less on an. Island. So any sort of. Anything familiar to make them feel like, okay, I'm not just here by myself, and I tried to be bad for them. So you would work out how many hours with them of the like eight or nine hours a day that these people are working out. How many of those hours are you working out with them? Couple of hours on Cameroon about three hours off. Wow, that's a lot. That's a lot. And then do you have other trainers who work there with you? Or we did that some seasons you know, because it's the season season to season vary. 'cause sometimes you know, we had to push the had to do the off camera work for the brand right for biggest loser in frame b couldn't be there with the contestants. But then I had to go promote the show I can be in two places at one time. Don't you? Do you hire your own trainer or you can hand pick them? Biggest NBC has to approve them put them to a whole background. So that one trainer that you hire to trainer one just one per season Percy's, right? Oh. And so we is it the same guy that we know together is Dario. Doria? Did it for me a couple of seasons? Yeah. Okay. And then what else back, but what else behind the scenes that besides we all know, they work out one hundred hours a day. It's crazy amounts of working out. I don't care what you save is. It may not be, you know, hit training for nine hours. But it's still moving for a long time with a lot of these people who don't ever move at all too big sick zero to sixty and you put anyone in a competitive environment. And they're going to give you more than you expect. Always you think you saw that all the time. Always you put anyone in the competitive environment. They're gonna give you more with than they expend what you expect coma and put money at the end of it. So how did you say the money aspect that? I Don you're making it for sure I agree with that. By the way, if you lose fifty pounds on the give you two million dollars all twenty of you people how how many hours we're going to do believe me? I I agree sent. But what did you do to motivate them? Besides that. Because there are there can't be. They can't always be, you know, go. Gogo. I mean, you have dips in it all the time you have dips in human nature. So what did you do? What was your like secret sauce to what to motivate them to continue to push pass their bare their their barriers are boundaries to keep going to be competitive. All the time one of the things that I do always start with especially when I was working on the show. I do this today. And I do I did it mostly before the show is well, I believe in empowerment. I believe some trainers train in a way that their client will always need them. I trained in a way that you don't need me. I want you to be me. Someone who wakes up every morning says their prayers eat their vitamins take care of themselves, and they work out themselves. They take care of themselves. Right. There was looking to be better. One of the things that I do is. I look for moments if I'm training five people, and I see a moment from one of them meaning that owed their in the pocket right there in that zone there in that. And I will stop them and say, you know, what John stop what you're doing. Do me a favor go show. Susan how to do that. And the minute I empower, John he's you you won't meet ago show. Yeah. Go show her. Susan is all your my counterpart. I have something improve. But John is empowered John is like I got this is no longer someone telling me right long. No by I'm the one. I'm the parent. I'm not a child anymore and with that empowerment, they take that on a spill it into their life outside of the show. I encourage them to find someone like they are to do the exact same thing. Go home and be a coach someone beat your wife. Be kids be co workers your leader. Now, go lead. And when they lied, and they lied with love the weight doesn't come back on. That's how I do it. That's amazing. So lead with empowerment, that's how you did. It you empower them to feel that they can do it. And you then they are capable of doing it on their own belief is the biggest drug out there. I agree with you. I. I agree with you. Okay. So it's sort after and what in the most sought after. And then give me give me something else. Not with that. We're going to get back to the the the more gossipy things here for a second. I want something like behind the scenes stuff. Okay. People are hooking up all the time. Give me one more one more piece that happens behind the scenes of the biggest loser that baby. It's not publicized. The trainers are very competitive against one another. You know you ever been to a gym. You can see the beacon field the menace in the gym with the trainers. Yes. Same way, I'm being nothing different. The how did you work in that environment? Isn't that kind of tough? It's very tough tougher a person like me because I actually always hated that environment. So when I opened up my private studios in Atlanta. I hired people to work cohesively cohesively with one another one another. And if they didn't they were gone. So when that's my DNA, it's difficult to walk into an environment where it's a high school type of right? Yeah. That's a good tidbits. I think people there are always like rumors and people that would be seven. That's assumed I think that that would happen. But it's never like concrete. Nope. Yeah. It happened to happen. Too often. I felt I felt I looked at it more as a distraction than a than a benefit because it was you ever talk to Bob Harper, Jillian Michaels or Jennifer Wieder strum anymore. Now do ever see them out in the in like events or fitness or wellness anymore. Not all right. All right. Well, that's good. I feel dead. I'm beating a dead horse now without one. Why not though, right? It's been years. Okay. Well, listen. I mean, I think I think I kind of covered everything I can in the last how long has it been an hour. Oh god. What did you say mementos over there? Oh, yes. Hi. This is really kind of awkward why you say Hello. But this could talk to them, I was three serious curtain away. And you said something them it gave me an opportunity so serious podcast race size say and you're on your best behave. Normally, he teases me to know. I went to win when she went on chang-kyu. Now, you could mess with me. I want you to be really authentic. Normally, we have we kind of go at it like back and forth and you've been on your best behavior like kind of like thrown off a little bit. Because you're so pleasant and polite like always pleasant. Like, you see here we go.
