"Heart radio goes one on one with Bryan Adams to talk about working with the legendary Jeff Lynne. I think one of the great things about Jeff Lynne. He's sort of able to become Member of the band metal band he's works with so You listen to any of his projects. His signature is all over this serendipitous that we actually met up. And he asked me if I didn't want to track sometimes. Oh, yeah. Seems to go. The track back was like, let me doing the next one. Even Jeff was surprised when he got the tracker is like, Wow, we've got tons of other songs, and so I would send Demo that Jim and I would have written and then sending the files and then Jeff would use whatever he wanted to end. Replace whatever you wanted to send back a master. Keep listening to I Heart radio form or Bryan Adams and all your favorite artists. From one restaurant to another. I admire these guys because they're artists. They're creative. They're optimistic. Find yourself somebody who's opening businesses. And spend time with him, You will find eternal optimists. And the thing about him a serial entrepreneur premiere. I don't mean like Captain Crunch Cocoa Pebbles, A serial entrepreneur is an eternal optimist. And there is something to be said for that there is something to be said. For people who always believe there's something better around the corner will make you happier so As restaurants and businesses open in the coming year. After a tough year for that industry. We're going to talk to more and more, so I got a message that pisses me off when friends of mine Announced to me that they're opening a restaurant by their press release to the general media. So I'm going to give Cambridge a break because I've already custom out affair. But you are opening Trace, Amigos Cafe and Cantina. Just got the press release before we get to the what you and I just talked about off air. You've tried Tex Mex before you and I had many conversations about how hard it is to succeed. L superior was fantastic, was the prettiest interior in town. Why go back into this arena? That's so crowded Cambridge. So first of all, Michael in my defense says I told you earlier, so I literally was just getting ready to shoot out a text to you. And I can have my wife back me up on that, by the way, but anyway is that her Klink into the background? No, no. I've left her already pissed her off already for the cooking up there. Oh, yeah, We're preparing for this for the opening here over tracing biggest. Where's the restaurant? It's in our 3402 North Shepherd drives at 34. And it's oh, your shepherd park. I know my niece and nephew live right there. I mean, they could walk to you. That's awesome. Fantastic. I thought you were gonna be upset like everybody else. They were changing the concept. But if anybody knows me, they know that after a few years, I just feel like for the neighborhood in the community and for us, you know, within the company. I'd like to change it up. I think that garden over Syria is the hottest the two areas that I think. What do I know? I'm a failure at it. But The two areas where I see the hottest growth right now are the Garden Oaks area. So North North shepherded 34th You know all the way up North Shepherd, you know, from the loop on up and the other one is Surprisingly, I 10 from Campbell to the Beltway. There's a lot going on Danny Evans just open to Kirby Icehouse there. That's killing it. Jim. George got a lot going on with that Memorial City area. There's a lot going on there. So I agree. But here was what I thought was interesting. I read this and this was why I called. Is because it's I just scanning while I was talking to a chef a moment ago, and it said in honor of your friendship with Billy Gibbons and, uh Uh, Stuart's claws and you have an amazing Billy Gibbons ZZ top collection. You were looking for a place to put it. You could have just put it in my house and you wouldn't have had to do all this, but but you've opened the restaurant so you can display that for anybody who hasn't seen it. It's incredible, but I read 75% of the proceeds will benefit the ST Jude's Foundation. 75%. The proceeds will benefit the ST Jude's Foundation and I So that's where I was. It wasn't written well, because the proceeds of what was there an event what was going on, and that's when you said 75% of the proceeds. Every day all day. We'll go to ST Jude. Great Point. I just didn't realize it until you mentioned it. But, yeah, just to clarify that. 75% of proceeds, and that's not like you know, one of these deals were took. Okay, we'll We'll have a dollar left over every month. Proceed. You know where we want to give it all But you know, we clearly understand that we've got a reserve some for operation I want to give back to you know, my team members that have been With me for many, many years. You know, a lot of people don't know. But, you know, I've got sort of a fan of equity and some of my restaurants for some of these really great team members that I have. But hold on. And and so for people who don't know your name, Cambridge you you've done pinks. Done. Lola? What? What are all your concepts You've done? I should know this. I need to write this down and carry with me. I get asked all the time. You know, it's too many. No pinks. Pizza, Lola, what else? I mean, just you know how much concept person I love the business. I love every aspect about it. But, yeah, we just looked as I mentioned before. I'd like to just change it up and keep things kind of fresh and keep the team happy. Keep the neighborhood's happy so But yes, this is the project right now that we're focused on to get back to question We're gonna give you 75% of proceeds to ST Jude. That's gonna be permanently so every single day that this concept is open, which we hope it to be many, many years. We're gonna get back ST Jude, As you know, Mike, you're huge contributor for that foundation You sell. It's one of the great, you know, one of the great foundations. There's not a lot people that are close to me and, you know, never never receive a bill for Sage Foundation. You know, his airfare travel hotel all of that everything they share the research that they do at the Premier Children's Cancer Hospital in the world. With anyone and everyone. They do zoom calls and telemedicine around the world. They treat Children in Africa, Asia, Southern South America with cancer over the over the zoom call over the telemedicine. It's incredible what they do Absolutely nobody that doesn't it is incredible..

"Mail from the ladies on that one. You're just mean Bobby. Tell us your story, but they fired. Hey, like I was back in the eighties, I take it a baseball job at Lockhart and Lockhart, Texas. And they had one very many games that year. We were like we won district we were 24 5 or something like that was a young kid from from Texas state anyway. So the president School board he meets me after practice in the second half of the district. And he want to know why his son Was on our Davey and he was a junior. It was horrible. And why is that was on the varsity play. And I told him that you know, I said, Hey, your your Your boy's a great kid. You know he can't. We really can't run. You can't throw. He can hit a little bit. And you know, he just really happy to be here. But there's no way I'm gonna put him on the varsity and even taking any time away from Hey, look, there's guys he was laid down. He looked me right in the face. He says, Well, you know you won't be working here next year, and I'm like, Yeah. All right. You're gonna you're gonna we win district. You're gonna fire me for not playing your kids. Well way Windows trick and we lose the first round of playoffs and I was instructed to go to the board meeting with the board meeting and because I was a first year teacher and coach well, but it was my third year teaching. Was fired, would no reason Oh, no. The reason was they were bringing in a new head football coach, and they needed that slot. How do you like that? You went You went district and you get fired because you didn't play the school board President, Son on your baseball team. Wow. So did they put his good for nothing son on the field the next year. No. Oh, I don't know. I left. I got married. Moved San Antonio, but You know, it's the you talk about politics, you know, and I learned the hard way when I was young. About, you know, school boards and how that works. You know, the big big district. That's that's a different story. But in the smaller towns back then, you know, I I didn't know. You know, I just but It zipmoney, you know? What do you do now? You still the coach? Well, I was retired teacher I buy. I sell tax distressed properties. Uh, In fact, up on my way up the Freeport re having a house that I bought over there, but, uh, it's ah, I even I retired. About three or four years of last year, I went back and took a varsity basketball job in Cleveland High School just for fun, because my my little ones they love basketball. We live in Magnolia. And so I figured I needed to learn a lot more about basketball. Best way to do it is just, you know, I know a lot about football baseball, but Not a whole lot about basketball, So that's what I did last year, but I lost so much money, but by doing the teaching, and then we called it hit in the spring break yet. Basically resigned. I just said now I'm not coming back, so, but Cleveland's a good place. There was a lot of fun and Very interesting, though very interesting little town. Yeah, You know, it's interesting. How many people I know who are very successful who started their professional lives as coaches. So my friend Pat stuttered. Owns a company called Buffalo Marine. It's AH bunkering business. Which means like Kirby, Marine and companies like that, when, when their barges air coming in. It's basically a gas station on FBO for barges. And they go out and they pull up next to the barge, and they fill him up. And he built this company to be extraordinarily successful, But Pat started life and all he ever wanted to be was a ball coach. And he left that and you know, came into the marine business and made a fortune. Got him. Danny Evans, who owns the Little Wood Rose and Kirby Icehouse. Was basketball coach in Austin. Left that came to Houston. Started a little bar built up built up. He's got 20 bars now makes a fortune. Yeah, It's such a different career path that it's hard for me to believe that somebody could do both of those. But it just tells you what people's passion for sports are. That they would give up their desire to make all this money. You know, running businesses because that's what they love to do it by the way. Danny Evans is still he's the basketball coach at Second Baptist, which he does for no money Just cause he wants to do it. Uh, Jerry Davis, who just came off a city council. Is the lacrosse coach at River Oaks Baptists because he played lacrosse growing up anyone to coach lacrosse, which is kind of funny because I've gone to watch him at their games. And it's a bunch of rich white kids on the team and my buddy Jerry Davis. It's a black guy who's the coach, and he's screaming about lacrosse, and I don't know that there is a more white Sport than lacrosse. And there he is, John Europe. You've got 45 seconds. Go. I got it back in 2008. I was worked for Baker old tools back win of them and Halliburton. We're trying to break the Guinness Book of Records on who they could lay off how many people they could lay off in the most shortest amount of time. By my oldest son had just been born and I had a week of approved vacation time taking off well, Day two of that five day week. We bring my son home on. I got a phone call from my supervisor telling me that I had to come in. Well, I've already got a proof of vacation. She is And she said, Well, if you don't come in, you're gonna be fired. I said Okay, Well, the first thing in my mind what I'm going to h r. You know, I'm gonna file a complaint when I showed up. There were policemen everywhere, and they took your badge number. They scanned your badge. And if your badge came up with the red color they made to go to HR. They had already box your stuff up. They fired us on the spot. The boxing up of items or the being escorted out of.

"You're listening to the law. Talk radio michael berry sam. Start your answer with this past year. I learned go ahead. Oh yes. I learned today. That sometime this this year the next year marijuana will be legal their taxes and michael. We'll have. I'm like that bud like bud and sissy redneck. I like that danny. This past year i learned. What did you learn this past year. Learned that the rest of the world now knows how. I live social distance. Funny i remember. When the social distancing conversation began and there was a lot of us felt like you know. I don't really mind that so much. People are up at must based too much anyway. There are a lot of us. And i find that the older i get the less i wanna be in groups or crowds or loud places so we went last night. A friend of mine. Named danny evans has this He owns all the little woodrow's and he has started a different concept called. Kirby is house the one inside the loop kind of for those be outside of houston closer to downtown has been killing it for a while. Any open one on guests ner at ten so little west of downtown and it was so nice to see people out and about and enjoying themselves. But i have to say as you get older. I had to. I had to raise my voice. There were couple of us at the group got him. Charles clarke who a lot of people in houston knows a chef. And danny evans whose the owner of this this bar. But i find that the older i've gotten noise bothers me like if there's noise in the background that i have to talk over and crowds bother me not to the point of a phobia or you know being completely antisocial but i used to need to be around the energy of a lot of people and now i find that i'm much more comfortable in the quiet in the home. I find that my back is a lot more desirable for me now. I enjoyed the company of friends and he wanted me to see this bar because it's doing well and he wanted me to see the concept and so i still enjoy those sorts of things. I just have found that. I don't crave being around crowds. The way i used to be very interesting to watch because in the coming months. So by the way alabama. I said yesterday that alabama was following suit from texas and mississippi and opening up and doing away with the mask mandate and john mounts our program director. There informed me that is not true. Governor mall has determined that it will be after easter that they will lift that. But not before. Ramon do you know what day eastern on or do you know what day of the month that is. Can you check the actual date on what easter is. So i misspoke. When i said that probably gave some of y'all in we have a lot of listeners. In alabama in fact alabama we probably have a higher concentration density of listeners in alabama than any other state not that we don't have more listeners in texas for instance. It's just that we have so many listeners. In alabama considering how many people there are what days it april fourth. So governor me. Mas gonna push the mass mandate back to april fourth or. I guess that would be april fifth but anyway when we when we round this this this curve as states are starting to open up there's more demands to open up the schools when you open up. The people aren't going to mind going back to work. It's going to happen and it's going to happen quickly. It's going to build momentum but it's going to be very interesting to see the ways in which we changed some of us that will never go back to. We'll go back to wearing suits. Will some people stay at home. Work from home and not go back because they can Will they stay where they work from home more often than they used to. Will they go out less often. Well they do take out more. It's going to be very interesting to see how we've changed forever. And i don't think we know that yet mick. What did you learn over the last year. Well learn that. I got two young daughters and They're just gonna rock life in twenty years. They're going to be out competing their peers. They got a mother and father that love him very much. They know that god is their creator and the only one who can judge them they I understand the value of competition and good sportsmanship. And i just feel i can. At the moment there's a lot of people you know if you're white heterosexual male or if you know who you are. There's a problem with you. But i feel like it'll pass and then twenty years. They're just going to be on top of the world living life being successful. And i think that was funny. You said how your wife had. Americans have a good way of looking forward and so Yeah i believe they are going to be successful and Just have a great life good for you. What a positive call so. I was with my buddy michael petro. This morning he's my trainer but he's become a friend and we were taught. He was raised out in the country in manville which is about forty five minutes south of of houston out on a farm and he was talking about coming home on friday night and he's overstayed his curfew. But hey you know. Suzy williams or joni johnson or whoever it was was you know paying attention to him and he wasn't gonna miss this this opportunity so he comes rolling in late and he's thinking well they're probably asleep anyway and so he goes in the house. He opens the door. The lights are out. This is a good sign he goes walk in through the kitchen. He looked through the living room. He looks and he said you know how it takes. Every light in the house is off. We in a hot takes a moment for your eyes to adjust. I see the silhouette of my dad sitting at the dining room table or the kitchen table may be was and he said. I just stopped much tracks. He said i knew that was a bad sign in so he said my dad did he played the ultimate card. He said he sitting there in the pitch dark if because there was no lights on my street so when i can't started down my low road if he'd been sitting there in the light and turned it out i would assume he's sat there in the dark for lord knows how long waiting for me to come in for full effect. I said yeah. And he didn't have an ipad or a phone or anything else to keep him busy. He just sat there. You know we forget how many times you go the bathroom now and you got to go find your phone before you go the bathroom because you cannot imagine sitting on the pot without your your phone because you got us read the news or twitter or facebook or check your emails or your text message. Whatever it is you do to think there was a time when you sat still you sat still and you don't want anything to you. You might actually have to think for a moment but he said his dad did that line. That was the one.

"Twenty one. Stand up for your country Rush limbaugh passed away from lung cancer this morning. Our condolences of course to his family on ash wednesday. The reaction i'm going to get into it. It's kinda messy and depressing for me as a member of the press to see how far down the media has descended now. I did not know rush limbaugh very well. I met him once a very short conversation with them. You may remember competed directly against him for seven years on the radio factor. But i understand his place in history and i also understand when someone dies. You don't trash them. Interestingly enough we have a producer from sixty minutes former producer mike. Wallace's guy was a got a book. We're gonna talk about the media with him so this all folds in also analyze president biden's townhall last night. Now when the announcement was made about rush limbaugh. I tweeted this quote. Legacy of rush limbaugh is clear the most successful radio broadcaster in history mr limbaugh provided a conservative balance against the dangerous left wing media machine history counts few entertainers and he did describe himself as that among those who made a difference in the country rush limbaugh did more tonight on those news so here we are analyzing a rush limbaugh so immediately he was trashed by the huffington post. I'm not gonna read you any of it. It was beyond vicious that is partially owned by verizon. And tomorrow we'll give you a little bit more information about the verizon ceo verizon media this is when i mean when i say the corrupt corporate media so these animals that work on the internet are paid by corporations. It's just it doesn't matter whether you liked rush. Limbaugh didn't like him or agreed or didn't agree. None of that matters. The man died. He has family. All right you can do your Retrospective pieces two days from now. Or whatever i mean it's just beyond the pale in this country it is and that is a theme that we're gonna hit hard tonight so in the associated press which is a left wing organization now reuters. I thought it was going to pound. Limbaugh did not the war reuters. News service did played it straight but the associated press on coach. A couple of things are this is in the body of telling their readers that rush limbaugh passed away so associated press quoting called democrats and others on the left communist wackos feminine faggots and radicals unquote all right. You know the guy was on the air. For what forty years and this is how you describe the body of his work. I'm not gonna defend anybody who uses invective. I don't do that. I don't use it but when you die. Rose associated depressed quote. Limbaugh influence likes. Sean hannity glenn beck bill o'reilly countless other conservative commentators who pushed the boundaries of what passes as acceptable public discourse. There you go. That's the associated press guy wrote this name matt's denki don't know him but i know the ap and it hasn't been straight news agency in fifteen years maybe more finally associated price would limbaugh did was to bring a paranoia and really mean nasty rhetoric and hyper partisanship into the mainstream said. Martin kaplan a university of southern california professor who was an expert on the intersection of politics and entertainment and a frequent critic of limbaugh. Why would you interview a frequent critic of limbaugh in his job. It why you wanna do that do with two days from now and then you balance it with somebody who felt that limbaugh had a message. That's how you do journalism right. That's how you do it. So summing up i did not know rush limbaugh I understand why he was successful. A conservative traditional americans are bombarded with messaging from the corporate media that they are that people and rush limbaugh stuck up for the conservative traditional side. As far as influence on me he had none. I am a television guy. I did the radio factor. An extension of the o'reilly factor on the fox news channel man who did influence me. Mike wallis is. They said his former producer is coming up. All right now. We're going to have more tomorrow on mr limbaugh monitor. What happens on tv tonight. And all i ask is civil behavior. That's all i'm asking for here. So joe biden last night Headline was that mr biden. Says they'll be six hundred million doses of vaccine available by july. That's twice the population. Good we need. It obviously also said when he took office there was no vaccination available no vaccine available. That's not true. Mr biden himself was vaccinated before the election. I don't know why said that. Joe biden president. Has tim tendency to ramble. And i thought of the song by the allman brothers lord i was born ramblin man trying to make a living and doing the best. I can so because the meaner was fine all right. Prison biden cited came across empathetic friendly appropriate when he was talking to the Civilians asking questions. It was a very soft venue. Wasn't challenge no follow-ups. He could say what he wanted but he just he sits a ramble. Brothers would love this. I got three soundbites foyer important. But i gotta run something right in case you didn't see it under the ratings seattle. Having for you. Tomorrow i do. I sound bite was pretty surprising to me go. The nation is not divided. You go out there and take a look and talk to people. You have fringes on both ends but it's not nearly as divided as we make it out to be and we have to bring it together. Well he must be living in a in a magical place because the united states is as divided as it has been since the civil war. It's more divided now than in the vietnam era and that's because the progressive secularists have gained a lot of power and mr biden is in that crew and they want to change fundamentally everything in america. Everything we are a bad country racist country we gotta wipe everything out okay including george. Washington abe lincoln. Everybody else and traditional conservative. americans aren't gonna. I'm gonna put up with that. So joe biden says the nation is not divided. This worries me. Okay sounds a number two. This man who asked the question is named danny evans. He is a pastor. Milwaukee.

"Sure I actually saw my therapist this morning nine to ten. And we meet in person, but we saw. At. Least six feet apart and I mean with the next week to I have not done a phone or therapy with him yet. Here's in the option of coming into the office and take advantage of that so I could give out of the house, and it's just really difficult for me if I. Were to tell therapy. I don't know I don't know but zoom. Self is good, but it's really hard. To not interacting face to face those people so well. Anybody really yeah. You'll lose a lot of the the body language and. There's a lot lost. I think when it's just. Just on the phone. And even if even if there's video I think it's way different than being in person obviously. so it's it's difficult. Dan, do you have any thoughts or advice for someone who's considering using CBT I do. It is so helpful without it I would not be worrying today able to take care of my son. Do dishes like I said. I would not be functioning as well as I. AM right now without it, so it's offered to you. I would just talk with your therapist about it and just see what he or she says and sue kind of tactics. They can use to really reduce setting Zaidi in. Fear and I know it's hard. It's a lot of hard work. It's worth it. Destroys that you're not alone. Dealing with this I've dealt with it and.

"Of every day. At least a handful of thoughts minute, and it's really frustrating, but I'm dealing with the better. But. After a while, my wife and I decided we would have kids if that was to happen to get pregnant. And on New Year's Eve into thousand eighteen. We found we expecting. Isaac in the summer of Nineteen last year. I was petrified. At the time. It was time that I dealt with these fears, and so my therapists and I decided I do cognitive behavioral therapy. and. Want to do it, and so he thought of the idea therapist. Of the idea of changing a baby dolls diaper. Those very frayed of that This is used to change in my son's temporal. He was born. So over the next weeks and months I. Was Changing adult diaper, and it was very afraid at first to do that, so we got exposed to that. and. Reduce the anxiety of the intrusive thoughts. So when we got home in the hospital, I was extremely hesitant to change my son's diaper myself. So! We started out where I would help my wife Rachel change his diaper. Then we expose it more to where I would change about myself with my wife watching. Finally in now I changed the diaper with no one watching and not a lot of reassurance. To the. My son is about eight months old. The fears been greatly reduced. I still have those thoughts, and they're still fear. By I'm dealing with it I'm I'm raising my son. He's only sold by raising them. Interacting with them were before I was so afraid. Even be around. Kids or especially a kid of my own. I went from point of not wanting children because of this fear and anxiety that just. Just. Trampled me to point where I'm raising my son, and I can do that, and I can function. Attributed back to CVT. Maybe you mentioned this. How? How long was that process for us? Feeling like this is this is effect of this is actually helping. It was effective I. Think after few weeks or months a few months. But. It it worked right away, it did and the fact that I'm able to do this. And changing my son's diaper and raise them and help give him a bath and everything I know that cvt worked. It took time, but the effects started right away. It gradually got easier if that makes sense, yeah, do you think that there are any specific reasons why that form of therapy worked for you? I imagine all types of therapy could work for some people and could not work for other people like. Is there anything any reason why I think? It was effective for you? Because I was willing to do the work. And when I was working target, I was not as healthy, I was not on the crack medications and I didn't quite understand like my illness. I thought that these thoughts my faults. I was told that growing up. That these thoughts were my health and I was a bad person and I think it really helped as I got to understand why polar especially OCD to the causes me these thoughts. I realize that they're not my fault on able to separate that and really work on work on the. And make my life easier and more function function or Great when it kind of go back to. Covid nineteen and the way. A lot of people are struggling right now. and my first question is. Do you find yourself struggling in a new or different way? All, I'm kind of struggling right now with like. Being at home Because I work at a treatment center and I'm I'm on call there and I interact with is who who deal with addiction and I. Just don't want to be there right now. Because of the pandemic kind of took myself off the schedule among call so I can do that. And I've been at home with for a job where I'm not interacting with as many people. For the last few weeks, and it's just been really hard. And I I can't get out much I'm watching my son, which is great, but I'm not used to being home so much. All Day, and then. A affecting my mental health and it's not. The best but I'm using coping mechanisms like getting out going for a walk when my wife gets home. Doing some exercises go in for interviews, one of the grocery store and a half to just. Writing poetry praying. Stuff like that. Yeah, so helping. Do you find yourself using specific CPT skills right now. On your own I mean I mean not even necessarily when you're speaking with your therapist, but just on your own. Yeah absolutely when I'm still. When I choose to. Interact with my son and help with certain things I'm still doing the exposing myself to that and still readings -iety so yeah, I still doing that with him. And all sorts of things around the house be afraid of like. Cocaine or putting away? Dishes especially knives because of the interest of thoughts that I have I just do it, and before I could talk. They couldn't do the dishes I couldn't do anything. So I'm still one there yeah so. I'm curious if you are continuing therapy right now. During the time where everyone's being asked to stay home for the most part, are you having to an personally? I've had to do some phone therapy sessions which I. Are Difficult for me. I'm just curious if you have similar situation and what your thoughts are on how people are needing to conduct their therapy appointments..

"Dot Org. Few navigate to the Education Slash Awareness Menu Tab Then you can see the link to fax sheets the CBT fact sheets in the third section the treatment section there's a version for adults and version for youth and read this fact sheet on CBS it's not very long about seven paragraphs and then also after this interview I was looking at the fact sheet on obsessive compulsive disorder OCD, which Danny talks about, and and that fact sheet it talks about how there are two types of psycho. Therapy's that are helpful for cheating. And it lists exposure in response therapy not. As well as cognitive behavioral therapy CVT so on that fact sheets listing those as two separate things. And just a short paragraph on the ERT exposure in response therapy the fact sheet it says Ert exposes a person to the cause of their anxiety. For example, a person with a fear of germs may be asked by a doctor or therapist to their hand on something considered dirty such as a doorknob afterwards they will refrain from washing their hands. The length of time between touching the DOORKNOB and washing hands becomes longer and longer That's just a a paragraph on the. Fact Sheet about. OCD and then I'm going to read the CBT factsheet. And then we'll move onto the conversation. I had with Dani, Evans. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy C. is an empirically supported treatment that focuses on patterns of thinking that are maladaptive and the beliefs that underlie such thinking for example, a person who is depressed may have the belief I'm worthless, and a person with a phobia may have the belief. I am endanger while the person in distress likely holds such beliefs with great conviction with a therapists. Therapists help the individual is encouraged to view such beliefs as hypotheses rather than facts and to test out such beliefs by running experiments, furthermore, those in distress are encouraged to monitor and log thoughts that pop into their minds called automatic thoughts in order to enable them to determine what patterns of biases in thinking exist and to develop more adaptive alternatives to their thoughts. People who seek CBT can expect their therapist to be active problem focused and goal directed studies of CBT have demonstrated its usefulness for a wide variety of problems, including mood disorders, anxiety, disorders, personality, disorders, eating disorders, Substance Abuse Disorders and psychotic disorders. While a full description of treatment and presenting problems, for which it is useful is beyond the scope of this brief overview, a brief summary of several treatments will be presented, CBD has been shown to be as useful as anti depressant medication for individuals with depression, and is superior in preventing relapse patients, receiving CBT for depression are encouraged to schedule activities in order to increase the amount of pleasure. They experience in addition. Depressed patients learn how to restructure negative thought patterns in order to interpret their environment in a less biased way. CPT for bipolar disorder is used as an adjunct to Maj Medication Treatment and focuses on psycho education about the disorder and understanding cues and triggers for relapse. Studies indicate that patients who receive CBT in addition to treatment with medication have better outcomes than patients who do not receive CBT adjunctive treatment. CBT is also useful treatment for anxiety disorders, patients who experience persistent panic attacks are encouraged to test out believes they have related to such attacks such as specific fears related to bodily sensations and to develop realistic responses to such beliefs. This treatment is very effective for those who experience such problems. Patients who experience obsessions and compulsions are guided to expose themselves to what they fear and beliefs surrounding their fears are identified and modified. The same is true for people with phobias, including phobias of animals or phobias of evaluation by others termed social, phobia. Those in treatment are exposed to what they fear and beliefs that have served to maintain such fears are targeted for modification. I'M GONNA. Stop reading the fact sheet there. There's a little more you can read that online if you'd like and I certainly encourage people to take a look at all the other fact, sheets that are available on the nominee Minnesota website Nami dot org. and we'll move into this conversation I had with Danny. The distinction between Nami has the family to Family Class A twelve week class, and then there are also family support groups ongoing that you don't need to register for so there's two different things there and then in our own voice. "Welcome to mental health in Minnesota produced by NAMI MINNESOTA, the National Alliance on the HILL MINUS A nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults with mental illnesses, and their families visit Nami Minnesota online at Phnom E. Want to talk a little bit about what see bt is and Allison when I've talked to sun exposure therapy because. Danny mentions using exposure therapy as as a type of CBT and I personally wasn't very familiar with exposure therapy. And since I don't have an interview with a mental health, professional, focusing just on CBT I wanna read through a nominee Minnesota fact sheet that's about CBT and now Minnesota has a bunch of fact sheets. "Preseason games. How is mad Maggie gonna figure out who the starting quarterback is now? Many people when you look at it with Holes in Strabinsky. Some people say Well, you know, Nick Foles could never play a whole season. So why don't you put whiskey in the starting note? If he struggles, and you put it in Nick Foles? And now there are still people that have no idea how the football season come off. We had. Kevin Harlan resigned the station earlier this week, and he was talking about how it's gonna work us. Maybe they'll just play six division games. You're rid of all the full schedule, just play six games and then play playoffs and holy cow. I mean, we're we're trying to figure out right now with basketball and baseball. And we have no idea what's gonna happen with a sport where constantly they're in contact and touching and coughing and spitting out. I think we've all assumed that football starts. Then they will be okay. By then. We're not going to be okay by that, right. There's nothing that gives me an indication on I could say not only be. I mean, I think obviously there's nothing that gives us an indication that we're OK. We're going to be in the clear everything's gonna be fine. It's gonna be a huge, huge challenge. I've got to say that Jim Lexa texted in Hey said here You need to have at least two quarterbacks to have a quarterback competition. Rim shot. Come on. Bears have three got and Tyler Bray into Ah, Mitchell Stravinsky and Ah, it and nobody. Jim didn't point out who he thought was not a quarterback, right? We have people who know what idea whose best ball thrower. Yeah, we'll figure it out on John Window. H said, Hey, listen, the teams For the delete A. They come to Chicago and bubble at the Ricketts empty hotel across from Wrigley. In the whole hotel, then I don't know if there's enough room there for the eight teams 18. I don't know that's a smaller layers. Nice place, though. Players might not be enough, Rose, so there's a lot of stuff for those in case you missed it. Earlier, the White Sox have had two players test positive. For covert 19. They are asymptomatic. They will be away from the team for 14 days, and they did not release the names of the players. Unlike yesterday when the Atlanta Braves released the names of the four guys that tested positive white sacks as of now, I have not done that. That's not to say that we would You won't be able to figure it out because people that are covering the white sacks. Practices will be able to see Okay, who's not here? It's a headcount, right? It's a list of names and ahead come sure, so they'll be able to look around. But to be honest, it shouldn't matter. There's two guys that aren't there. Okay? It shouldn't necessary. I know everybody's in Broadcasting where journalists we've got to find out OK for the story Find. Technically, they're not playing two guys and they should be back 14 days now is the 19th and their season starts. The White Sox season starts the Cup season starts on the 24th. The first game of the season is going to be the Yankees and the Washington Nationals. So that's that's something on that. We have talked a couple times about the field of dreams. And I was announced this week will be the white sacks of the Cardinals at the Field of Dreams game August 13th. And that works out because the White Sox are playing the Cardinals, and it made sense being sacks Cardinals as opposed to white sacks cubs Because this way at least you spread it around a little bit, too. Cities that get it just just crack me up all over social media. People are complaining about the Whitesides. It's like Please go Watch the film, right? Can we keep this, You know, locked into the movie plot. Can we keep that connection to the White Sox played not only want to look up some history, not only watching the film, but they're way there doesn't designing the stadium. The stadium's going to be designed as like old Comiskey Park was designed and everything. And then there's that s O B kind of strange. That would be strange to not have the White Sox played a ballpark that was designed after their ballpark. Eso anyway. But we had a common sense thing. Danny Evans was out with this two weeks ago with me, Jeff Miller. And he said, Yeah, they had not said anything by canceling it, but they did cancel the All Star game this week. S o. And that only made sense because they're trying to cram 60 games And in two months, you know, I actually forgot about that. I just assumed that that wasn't so tonight a thing they wanted to make it official that made it okay. Yeah, the official announcement to get rid off the All Star game, So that's not gonna be played and that's that's fine with me. You know, we were talking about getting to this hole. Redskins situation. Ron were very coach to play with bears. He's been coached. This is his second head coaching gig, right? Yeah, he he's been working with the owner of the Redskins. Dan Snyder on a new nickname in recent weeks. I don't know why this hit me. Like for years. It's just again. It's like this. You know the word Redskin. I'm not a native American. It is. I'm just Ah, white guy, you know, so I feel like if it's offensive to somebody And that's fine then. Okay, I'm fine with making people happy, right? You know, you know why, And a lot of people are like, Okay. Why? Why are we doing this? Well, you know, it is kind of the cancelled culture and this is what we're going through right now. But seeing that Ron is involved. It just makes me feel Better, but I was never opposed to it, but it just not legitimizes. That's the wrong word. But I just kind of makes it feel like Okay. You know what everybody is in on this. Let's just get this done. There's no reason why we can't Just the name Yeah, and runs the only Hispanic head coach in the NFL. He's Mexican, in Puerto Rican and one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. And you can't say that about all coaches in the NFL, but he is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. They've got a couple of name ideas. The Indians baseball team, the Cleveland Indians is likely they will likely change their name. They originally when they put play baseball were called in Cleveland spiders, so that could possibly happen. You know, they did get rid of the photo of the Indian the logo. They soften that because the whatthe logo was was not necessarily Was that necessarily? A nice one. Okay, So how about the Aleta Braves? Where do they know The logo has been changed, right? Yeah, but they still do the Tomahawk chop and you can't stop people in the stadium from doing the Kansas City Chiefs do, too. I had an idea Yesterday. That was a great idea at the Kansas City Chiefs want to change their name? It's real simple. You just take the eye out into making the Kansas City chefs..

"Hope everyone's having a great Wednesday Beautiful summer day in the city of Chicago. Will there be baseball soon? The I believe now it is confirmed. There was a lot of talk in the last few days about Hey, this big field of dreams game with the White Sox Aaron against the Yankees like that's that's gonna be able to be to be played at least with the exact match up because the Yankees and Socks don't play each other. So there was some talk. Would would they keep Bolt? Would they keep the Cubs or the white sacks in there? And could they play the Cubs? Would they take the White Sox out? Could they make it? Cubs Cardinals? You had to keep the white socks and I don't think that they're mean. That's what the movie is really about, isn't it? I mean, and the White Sox they did announce today are going to play. The ST Louis Cardinals for that field of dreams game. So that would be cool if we do have baseball, but it's only one game, something comes. Fans can really cheer for socks and cardinals. It's a no win game. Is that what did it No one situation? I think you're rooting for the White Sox just like you. I'm I'm surprised that they're going through with this, You know, to try to Do this on. Add another travel to a different for just one game play, serially stay there in place. So what are they doing? Are they playing a game or a Siri's isn't just point. We don't We don't know yet the details of it, but actually had Danny Evans, the former White sacks assistant G. M on Saturday and because he's been part of this project, and he was talking about how During Cove in Major League Baseball did not shut down construction of the stadium in Iowa, so clearly, they always had designs of going forward with it, And I think you know, it would make sense. If you're going there for one game that you might as well do too, right? I mean, I've been there. He's pretty cool of you guys ever been there? Like back in the day when the Bears were in Platteville. It's not far from where field of dreams is. What is it? Diet is a Dyersville. Dyersville, Iowa, Sameer, the the Iowa Show s O. We drove there a bunch of us like bobble gear. Larry Mayor. Mark Potash got names of guys who are still on the Bears beat and we played like a pick up game of baseball on the field of Dreams Field. Pretty cool. How many there for you? No, No, there were Mohr and it was like, four on four or five on five. You know where you do? Lob league. You pick a field if you're right. A. You gotta call left field. You know what I'm saying? You gotta shift over. Everyone's gotta shift for Sylvie because he's the lefty. Lefty. Gotta run over to the right side of the always hated that guy, dammit. But other guys who you would know the names if I mention because this is from like 19 96 or something like that 97. When we went to the field of dreams Field, but yeah, Whitesox, Cardinal. I love the us, Mel and I we've ever been Miller. Maybe I Why would I ever go to Island these fields? I'll tell you what I actually Was there when this initially was announced last summer that that was one of things like I am taking my son to this. This is something I would be a cool that's different. I understand. No, no. But now I'm actually like, you know, that's the one of the things I'm a little bummed out about, because obviously I'm not going to be attending. Thief Field of Dreams game. I don't even know what the ticket sales situation will be like for that. They're building a whole stadium. Don't you think they did this more than once? Only going to be Yes. No, no, I think it's going. They're going to try and make it a semi annual thing. And I think there's but it's only constructed for about 8000 fans. So you know it's going to be a hard ticket to get In normal times, and now they probably even harder on the cell. 25% of them. I don't know. I mean, it's a good question. You wonder if this is like, Do you play your Siri's with Cubs in cardinals Because you're going to go home in a way with both, I think is the way they're doing it, isn't it? What is it? Is it four games to win two or something like that? So it's again. It's it's all fluid. We don't know the exact number because it's like I think the Cubs and sacks are supposed to play each other. Maur than four times six times six times arrival, which means, yeah, that, like the Cardinals is likely to be four times against the white sacks throughout the whole season. I don't know, play two games there while you going from well, why, with everything going on and having to travel and having to fly there and everything. Why are you? Why are you wasting time for one game? That's a perfect point like we're talking about just trying to get through the season. And yet, in some ways, it's odd that they're inviting. More opportunity to go to different places and trying, you know. You're inviting more risk. You're right about that. And then what was so What's this about The Cubs? The Cubs? Is this about the rooftops? I think Josh Friedman from S O. B. GMTV, According to Josh Freeman from W. G and the source tells me the city of Chicago has given approval to Wrigleyville rooftops. Tau host fans for Cubs games, a 25% capacity. Tickets expected to go on sale Once the MLB schedules released through my source says tickets will not be sold for potential exhibition games. Crane Kenney was going around, you know. Last week he was on with cap Talked about how they're looking for opportunities to have fans. There's 16 rooftops. The Ricketts own a majority of them. So this is, you know money that they get directly like this doesn't go back into the team. This is just because it's not part of Major League baseball. They're just rooftops. Right? Right..

"Says search great Burgers, you know, if you're looking for maybe a little higher wage Adoption Halls Chophouse on King Street does an amazing job as you can imagine is very heavy, but they do some a great Seafood there to the service is impeccable Charleston Grill. Located in Belmond Charleston Place hotel has been a Mainstay in Charleston for longer than I can count and you know, I think a lot of people don't think about eating in a hotel under here in Charleston. But if you're looking for a white 2000 Honda an experience and you're not going to be anything better than Charleston Grill, you know, there's a lot of other great seafood places, which I think a lot of people think of when they're in Charleston Hank's Seafood is absolutely amazing ordinary, which is an old Bank building is an amazing seafood restaurant really really just a special experience and their sister restaurant stick. I think is one of the most coveted reservations and all the Charleston area and that is a menu that changes almost daily, you know, it's not just one type of fare on the menu, but it really gives you a great feel of what religion has to offer from a lot of different aspects wage. And the chef in the restaurant are all James Beard award winners. So, you know, I can keep going on and on and it's not just one type of figure. It's not judge one Ambience to the restaurant which are restaurants that you're going to get. It's a whole Gambit of different experiences and that brings up and we've talked a little bit about covid-19 and how the areas handle that are most restaurants and attractions open for business right now. Yeah, so South Carolina, we think our lawmakers here and have done an amazing job of things are best plan for all of us. You know, I think I heard a great thing when the the offset of this a few months ago that were building a flame War were flying and so, you know, I think to a certain extent involving Bond and just trying to figure out is to go and I think that our lawmakers here, he'll put us in a very good position to succeed and also make sure our businesses can succeed to the best of their ability off. I'm keeping everybody safe at the same time. Right or restaurants are open at 50% capacity right now and they're also offering outdoor seating. So a lot of restaurants previously did not have outdoor seating still are now offering outdoor seating. All of our retail space is open right now. I think right now it is limited capacity and Retail but everything is eligible to be open in that Arena. All of our tourism attractions are off or eligible to be open and all of our hotels are eligible to be able to you know, I think we've have just a few hotels that either open today or tomorrow, but everybody else has been open and took everything you can do pre-coated you can do now so, you know, I like I said, I think we've done a really good job of making sure that a balancing the fact that people need to be saved for business is also need to be and and I think we're well ahead of a lot of other states and in what we're able to offer and things that are open and I want to put a lot of trouble advisor to ask is you know, why Charles, Georgia? Now is not very distant populated area. Right? We don't have near as many Travelers right now as we normally do because of career. So you're you're going to be able to distance even more because of that and we have our reaches home and you know, you can do a lot of social distancing on our beaches in our waterways. We have, you know, amazing waterways here in Charleston where you can fish paddleboard you can you know, can dolphin wash or just so many things to do outdoors is a city that it is appreciated. It is best from in from the outdoors. So what's some local information that visitors need to know about visiting Charleston. Yeah right. Now we're off, you know, like I said, we're our businesses are doing a great job of balancing being open and keeping everybody safe. You know, I think that every a lot of people want to get out right now, especially in the Leisure Market, but there's too many concerns one is safety in what is what one of the second as well. So so back to what we were saying there's there's you know, we're doing a great job and making sure that our visitors in our people that live here are safe, but there's a dog A lot of things for people to do two things that I love to tell travel advisors to tell their clients to do when I talked to earlier is go to South Broad Street just get lost Just Lose Yourself and not be honest Network texture and and everything that has to offer cuz you're not going to find that anywhere else in America really is kind of an old world European field question the way we preserve but the houses and things like that wage and there's there's a neighborhood in Mount Pleasant called The Old Village right on the water. It has some beautiful houses and I'll tell travel advisors if you can get your clients to fight through their it's absolutely beautiful again blah blah, very large overhanging live oak trees, you know, I keep going the word Ambience and it's just amazing in that area. There's also a bridge in that area of town in the Old Village on Pitt Street bridge and as strong well and you can see it's an old bridge is not using a more people walk on it. They do yoga. They go swimming in the water right there and they finish their and it's probably a general fifteen minute walk out of 10 or 15 minute log. But you can see so many different parts of Charleston cuz because of our waterways it's so segmented. You can see the downtown historic district Sea Palms. You can see Sullivan's Island. So you just gives you a unique perspective and I mentioned those two things to do in Charleston because it's not something that visitors usually do. It's not something you read about on the internet. That's something you can buy take it for wondering and you can do whatever you want to do it. I think the biking is a great thing to do in the downtown historic district 5 through the area Walter the area but I think people should always experience Charleston from the water as well go out go out and Charleston Harbor kind of like I was saying in from the history bridge and just gives you a unique perspective of the city in the different areas of our our area, right? Yeah. There's no place like Charleston. So well, we appreciate you tie Mike. Thanks so much for being on the show today. Well, thank you very much for having me. And if anybody ever needs any help with anything or questions or what-have-you control scenario, please let me know dead. We will send them your way. Thanks again. Thank you. All right. Thanks. "Would say listen your starter doesn't have to go five innings to get a win because I'm not saying that pictures are gonna say listen leave me out there so I can get the victory especially in a weird sauce was our season like this but it would make sense to me if I got went three innings the team's got the win and they pull amount to get the victory this year okay hello dear brother for the first time I've heard that I think it's got a lot of merit to it I think it's gonna be real hard the first month of the season for a starter even qualify right away and I think that's one of the staff yeah we're gonna have to look at carefully we've got a month to look at that before addressing it talking to Dan Evans former executive VP and GM of the Los Angeles Dodgers former assistant GM and director of baseball ops for the white Zach Stan so if you were a general manager of a baseball team this year how would you approach I don't I don't even know if we have clarity yet on the actual trade deadline I remember there was being floated about in July thirty for our odds August thirtieth maybe I know that was already okay so it is so so if it's August thirty first and you have this small sample size to work with and you also know that we have coronavirus that we're living through right now and you're concerned about potentially some players contracting that during a season how would you approach a trade deadline if your team was in it are you are you gonna go for it like you normally would or are you a little more cautious realizing that you know it's not just injury you need to be working worried about that could completely you know suffering your season but also you know a potential star player having to miss two weeks because they have to quarantine because they test positive for covert nineteen have you like how would you approach that if you were the general manager of a good baseball team near the trade deadline I think this is going to be the most unique trade deadline we've ever seen August thirty first is a long way away guys two months given all the things that are swirling around with health issues and economics of the the world not just Major League Baseball I think there's a lot of things that are going to come into play for the upcoming deadlines Jackie bring up a good point you know the risk averse team probably won't want to do things but there's more factors first of all prospects in many cases what what you can't stop them you don't know what kind of shape the room you don't know whether or not you can trade with the guys you can be a little gun shy because none of your spouse of Steven so that's a big deal number two I think you're gonna see teams that are the economic issues that are out there for starters they have a large payroll they're faced with a very difficult PR decision where where in the best interests of the club want to move a guy but the fallout PR why could be so damaging they may not want to do it but then on the other side there might be close that are emerging money and as a result say we don't care we'll take a chance in the free agent market after this season we think we can replenish our ballclub the other thing is this and and and just let's just be honest we don't know what the state of our world is going to be health wise October first not even end up playing the entire playoffs packs of that guy is a big deal I was speaking to someone yesterday any of the value of a starting pitcher is far more different than it's ever been what is C. twelve or thirteen starts over the course of the season an ordinarily at the trade deadline you get about ten starts out of that guy this year you're going to get about five or six so what do you pay for that guy to get you to thirty two or thirty three well in what I think is going to be a starting rate at the end because over sixty games these are schedule I think we'll have a lot of teams in the race earliest one going into the last month of the season so who's in who's out I don't think they'll know themselves mentor to without another minute or two and Danny Evans here talk as a baseball on ESPN one thousand Danny we got really excited last year we heard that there was going to be a game at the field of dreams and you were one of the guys involved with this what's going on with that I know that the white Sox and Yankees aren't even supposed to play each other this year I know that it's a very difficult time with everything else we're trying to put together how are things going with the the build out now what's going on now thanks for asking first of all we receive no words the DJ and have any jeopardy whatsoever right now we're excited about that we're lucky that it's in August thirteenth scheduled date but I think there's a couple things in play you know we don't know the schedule the schedule hasn't been released there probably will be a difference in the clouds because of the regional aspect of the schedule the Major League Baseball never discontinue the build of the stadium in the field itself so we're optimistic that we're going to play a game for me with the all star game being washed away I think it could potentially be the feel good game of the baseball season with the build out and with every a lot of the ball games being played with no people in the stands I mean you you expect that they have a big you know a fact that this also no because I'll tell you what we were only we are only having a stadium built for a thousand people to start with okay the crowd wasn't going to be the issue it's more the setting and it's more that we need a choreography again that'll make it a real special events division we couldn't have felt very bitter you know what given what we've got going on Fred you know your wishes have to change it with with everything that we've dealt with and he might just make it more authentic like you're actually watching field of dreams of.

"Fun watching baseball once it gets underway was a July twenty third twenty fourth yes that is scheduled and you and I'll get into the schedule stuff that I got some questions about that Major League Baseball and doesn't know what they're doing but I don't know if you don't you can had their committee yeah well I'm I'm I'm volunteering parents if they have any you know questions about how they gonna put a schedule together I just say there's a reason for the white Sox and cubs will play six games against each other I just leave it at that and I will get into it a little bit more when I was here in town and working at sports phone and when I was working at the other radio stations number of other things it was great because a lot of people that started in this area and then they branched off to other things and I would go and cover DePaul basketball games and things like that when I worked at sports phone and it was this guy that was working at the pollen and next thing you know he goes in he works for the white Sox annexing and all they can to him assistant general manager and then he ends up going to the Dodgers and it's like he's the executive VP and she goes like that hell man I guess lane tucking the ball was a good education rising star yes for a young Danny Evans Danny how are you today I'm doing well and throughout the three nine hole by repetitive levels Hey it's it you know what it is it's a good thing we remember all the good baseball before we get into other stuff that I wanted to talk to you about the last fifteen twenty minutes we've been talking about Dick gallon because I guess there's a hall of fame vote coming up on Monday was a possibility and I don't Brian Kenny did a great thing breaking down Dick Allen's OPS plus and back in seventy two if you mention OPS plus we would all look at you and said the hell you're talking about think existed I don't think so but what we're just talking about how great of a ball player is what do you remember growing up here in the Chicago area of Dick Allen Sampo a lot I think he was part of the resurgence of the white Sox in the early seventies a great trade my role in the union said Jennifer title John on the outside looking in I think he's in the hall of very good I don't quite think that player but yeah Hey what ball jumped out the value could really run the bases and I I love those lawyer he brought to the game some people you know that I know that we're around them so you always walk in failing grades and I think you have that for me is always an issue when you start talking about all of them all right Dan so now that we moved to kind of what's going to go on here in this sixty game season I'm curious as to your thoughts about how you would approach it because obviously baseball is a one hundred and sixty two game marathon that kind of you know normalize out over that period of time but in a sixty game springs here I mean hawk Harrelson taught me the old axiom there's you know you're gonna win fifty you're gonna lose fifteen it's what you do with those other fifty we just need to kind of you know the us shortly down and say you're gonna win twenty you're gonna lose twenty it's what you do with those other twenty game that's gonna determine whether not your platinum and how how is this going to be approached if your if you're the man you know I GM of the baseball team what can you do differently in this short stretch here yeah great question I've been looking to sell gold versus the marathon I mean this is this is a life style of baseball that none of us have ever seen before I believe there's going to be a sense of urgency from day one it'll be so bizarre to started even when starting pitchers aren't ready to go very deep into a game and as a result kitchen bath and for me the managers who can handle a pitching staff especially a bullpen will be particularly valuable in two thousand twenty but I think the clearest things ask won't play in nine weeks your result no I think you gotta win thirty two thirty three games to have a chance we have an unbalanced schedule that the wild card team you know might come from the weakest division because of the depth of the better teams and have a better overall records but I think what we're going to be more than ever is this bizarre starter with aren't ready to get going yes it's like the mid March games in spring training having almost three times the value of a regular season game and that's a brand of baseball no one is used to stand I think we're gonna see some really bizarre stuff I think the teams that only the fever with a sense of urgency have a chance to get out to a good start which is positive but Jeff you get up to a bad start this year you've got no chance Dan Evans joining us here on ESPN one thousand Danny it Tampa Bay used their their openers last year do you think more teams in baseball going to use that kind of thing could you talk about pitchers and I would think a lot of guys even if they were regular starting pitchers will probably go three maybe four done that because of the short schedules like listen we're gonna bring in some other guys now but do you think on the other way you bring into a reliever I got to go to one inning or two innings as an opener you think those that kind of thing will be used more us more so this year great question I think we're gonna see a third to half of the season kind of a bastardized starting pitching rotation you know where you're you're looking at minimal injuries maybe it's not just two thirds of the animal pitched by the pan I think it's highly effective in one manner over sixty games even harder to get when you have to see multiple pictures over a course of a game that's why I completely this last four hundred here this year I know that's a popular number bit hitters better when they face the guy more often and I think that what you're talking about is a strategic way to overcome what you're walking into a bit here is that you guys nobody and I mean nobody will really have an idea what they have on the mound right now because until they come back to Canada and they started playing again and pitching again you really don't know which pictures have kept themselves in good shape and as a result you know all the stuff that we thought three four months ago warning was pushed to the margins now because this is a different game this is an unknown element as a result he was ever in people that are touting certain teams I just think that's nonsense because you don't know what kind of shape the arms are coming back in your ballpark if you were in charge of baseball rules would this be the year that maybe you.

"On where his t tie. This is tyra banks tieger. Oh this is I heard about this. He and I have a lot. Could stay so clips from America's next top model are beginning to resurface on the Internet. And they're actually from years ago girl go and also from her talk show which was fucking psycho look back at fashion talk show. It was no ricky lake. I'll tell you that girl it was lake. I saw I saw one clip of her talking embarrassed because some girl. And she's like she's like she put pictures of three guys and she's like which one do you think is more attractive. And she's like I think number one is my type and she's like okay. Number one is a serial killer whose murdered twenty five girls in the past. What's the point of this what we know the lake? Honestly even before. And now this is has resurfaced. Like her talk show was really cringe-worthy like I thought I was like the uncomfortable watching very thing I was like. Are You fucking kidding? Me Another video has resurfaced from America's next top model. And in the she's telling a model named Danny Evans in this episode all the models were sent to the dentist like a actually remember that episode. Go on all went to the dentist to get their teeth checks and the girl Danielle. They asked her what she wanted to do. And she said she just wanted a cleansing and whitening and so when she went in front of the judges panel at the end of the episode she tires began to wreak her. She was like so Danielle. You went to the dentist but refused to have the gap closed because she had been close up cutting. Ucl Like you. Don't she knew set? It's heath or some shit that's not a day's work I don't feel it. Sounds like a quick fix. I don't know maybe they just extend your teeth. I duNNo. I HAVE NO IDEA. That sounds like a censure. That's removing I don't know I don't know so she that she kept going and she was pointed. She's like do you really think you can have a contract with a gap in your mouth. This is our WIKI. Hello Lauren and like sorry. Learn how she's famous for fucking gap go on like this is people are going to see easy review for car girl. It's not marketable. Meanwhile and then the what's the the one that does voting and teaches way with him on this Jane. Ms Jake kept going and was like a while speaking of gap. There's going to be a gap in in the competition. 'cause it's GonNa stop you if you don't fix it. Basically bullying her into fixing her gap. She then got it. She agreed to say. I'll do it only a little bit of a compromise halfway alright. She wound up winning the call. The that the competition that season and now people are starting to lake attack tyrod on twitter. I mean honestly like the snowflakes needs to calm down. This was like how many years ago and honestly like at the time. Maybe like fashion is always fucking bullshit as far as like what they consider. Pretty at the edgy at the moment. Because obviously right now all I see runways gap in like you know You know Unique Beauty I don't understand I don't like even at the time. We already had edgy bitches so I don't understand why she would have done that. You Know Madonna Gorgeous. Like she has her got like. I don't understand. They wouldn't have hike in that. You know and maybe change your duty but then again. Was it two thousand five. This fucking thing aired and. Now we're like were so bored that we're backtracking in shaming people from like a over ten years ago now we have like twitter and so the videos come on twitter making means and it's like all the stuff that's coming being regretted whoever maybe not the Baleno who's who's the other generation that we're like giving sites who now anyway now they're seeing it for the first time and now they're gagging and there were like bitch. Well I mean I think I agree with people that are like hating on it because I. That's like the ball you need but yours to go shade. Yeah but she I think she she came out and she apologized for the insensitivity. She says you arrive but like but like why does she pick on one some girls for that but then other girls like Winnie who has like Vitiligo. She pushes all these other girls for their individuality. But then there's one girl. She was like attacked her. For some reason and it's I remember. I believe one season. She actually added a gap to somebody's tooth. No she did. Not I'M I don't. I'm pretty certain there was one season she gave this girl. She had this girl because they know they do this thing. Every T- thing every season and there one guy. They added a gap. If I'm not mistaken. Believe you I love the bitched. Just was crying. Hysterically should not wanNA cut her hair. They were so I mean she had the long. She had the whole long hair. So I remain recover here. This is legit like proper circle crying. She got eliminated that day. They're like you know what that really didn't work out actually easily go. Iro Is Insane Caridi. I need that are some. I mean I'm not sure which is worse than some of the top model lake clips or though the talk show. I think is worth the talk shows ridiculous when she brought out you know we can't but she's like we have no studio audience today because this is just you and I thought the one that I remember when tire associated. She didn't want Naomi Campbell to get applause so she deleted the audience exactly. Meanwhile I mean I mean you can't fuck me even now it can't. She's everything Larry thinks she's keeping it real and keeping a tight where her you know of living. We got some more. Are you ready all week? Well let's remind our guest. Today we're GONNA have Juliana huxtable on she'll be on in about fifteen minutes. Joining us live from Berlin artists that writer performer. Dj TJ DJ. Go on she do so one time. Let me just go through her resume one time. She accused offset of impregnating her. She said she was pregnant with offsets. Trialed everyone knows offset is Cardi B.'s. Baby the Baby Daddy. While the other Mary now I married Cardi go on. Oh yeah they had. They got married. Yup Cardi B.'s. Yeah so allegedly. That was one of her claims to fame. And now she's claiming to have had an affair with snoop Dogg. Who's married WHO's married? She's saying he flew her outs and they had an affair and he was. He denied and his his wife supported him in his in his statement. But now she's saying that she has proof honestly but like in on if you're going to get the girl plane ticket that's how I'm getting it from this. Get her a plane ticket. Why I guess we're GONNA do this. Lengthy were well. I mean does she have a if she. Has the ticket receipt. 'cause you're gonNA need like a little while now. He didn't put her scrapbook. What she has is a tape a videotape. We're not new dogs. Dick are we well. Anyway she has Alexis allegedly of her with snoop and she also has a sex tape. "An awful lot of people who don't have a lot of respect for people in the dugout and scout and I think quickly they're starting to find out that it's not that easy they're they're not winning like they thought they would not having as much success as they thought they would may think the result is that people are starting to recognize that there's more to it within a baseball game than just taking percentages it just isn't that easy we play to mold loans with too many people and too much trouble to to treat human beings as objects are robots it's it's just not that game I think your lyrics and you guys both now the white Sox will one of the absolute most progressive organizations when I was there we did some amazing things we just didn't write books and make movies about it and I think the result is we gave managers information their decision making I really think you know I'm a big proponent and analytics but I think analytics scouting gut feel you know just feel for the game itself in communication that's what gets you to the playoffs that's what wins the World Series I think the Dodgers are great example very analytically driven but a great farm system and a phenomenal manager who communicates well and Dave Roberts and it's no wonder that that's why they are where they are you know you know Danny one of the big things with job with the it was a great phrase and I remember it now I think all cub fans do you know that we don't want to come in when just one we want sustained success and success I guess is marked in many ways you know you got a playoff three four years in a row that success but it's almost as if baseball is is the sport the one sport I mean you see that with the warriors you're seen with you know all the patriots and other things baseball is the one sport where repeating or even winning two in three years other than that that little round the giants went out it's very very difficult is it almost like they're giving they they they mail all in to win the one and then they've got a got that honeymoon for a while it doesn't really matter so much they spend everything they moved enough guys are not going to have guys to come up they got that one title though and now there's a honeymoon others are a rob grace period for everybody yeah replace so many games we played twice as many games as any other sport right and when you go deep into the post season one of the problems is your body doesn't replenish itself year after year and when you have an extended round like many teams do you know in basketball you could see the warriors legs go down a little bit the last couple of series they're playing on a motion with the loss of their two superstars but I think when you take a peek at what happens to a baseball club the guys on the mound they're the ones who really get the most fifty and without them it's real hard to win in October and I think as a result extended runs you know which she said it what happens is you have the fifty two you know blowing out some your minor league players because you're trying to add pieces free agency in various things occur your roster and Hey Ralph spirals things occur and as a result that quarter that nucleus that god knew deep into October it's really hard to maintain it and then your subordinates players become more and more important the cubs are good example I mean anywhere else in America a team you know with eighty seven eighty nine what wins at the end of the year is a good season expectations are higher after two thousand sixteen and you know they're they're behind the cardinals my guess is they're going to be a wild card game that's what I see them as a potentially and the problem Fred is if they win the division they play at Lana I think that outstanding team and if they lose and they get to be a wildcard team and let's say they beat well Washington as a road club then they get the Dodgers yeah so either one of those scenarios is a real pretty one and as a result if you're a pragmatic in the front office you're looking going in we might get in that how short well our playoff shelf life the and I you know I think when you take a look at their remaining games they got like twenty two against the central with thirty two to play totally I think they're going to have a tough road and and if they get in I just don't know how long they're pass it's going to be in his Washington national I'll sit as we visit for a few minutes we're Chicago guy Danny Evans yell Washington nationals watching them yesterday they beat the cubs nine to three they yeah young guys everywhere they got pitching everywhere I'm not sure the date as a wild card won't give the Dodgers and the Braves a run for their money well great play Murph and that's a lot of wild card teams are dangerous when I was with the blue jays couple years ago we came in as a wild card we are two games in the World Series because you have to come in hot and when you play that Tuesday glory that Wednesday wild card game there is more pressure on that game then the first game of the five games see you walk into the series if you win the wild card game with a little bit of an edge a little burst of confidence in your riding high on the on the game that you won the game before two days before that's why I hop wild card teams advance deep into playoffs numerous times it says yeah it's a it's a dangerous game to play the problem with the crowds is when you look at the floors around and the Max Milwaukee Philadelphia the scene you know the cubs don't stand out right now and when you when you just view them realistically and how they played against the best teams in the league you can't come into this last month I would say these next eight games with the real confident but I think the next day loans like a term in whether they did enough Danny Evans couple more minutes love visiting with you but a long time friend since I gave Danny a live to Wrigley Field and an old girlfriend beater I had the problem is is all but if I get that Clark and Addison with this guy's car driving they'll be a miracle just imagine if you did get everything would change after he was nice enough to Amman stand dark down that same building right now up stairs a couple of quick is will spring about that we want to hear about field of dreams and some of the new things roll ball red humor has been number one and I've been right there on his coattails for years number two we cannot wait until the home plate does balls and strikes are called the you know from some guy yeah Italy in a lazy by with a little button and I did a bill because you'll do better I got yeah I got a feeling that he's going to be against this on this one all really yeah you know what I'm I'm a little more old school in certain areas and I just think the umpires do a fabulous job that's been proven with the reply I mean there are more decisions that are not overturned then are overturned and I think that's a real good example of the level of umpiring I I just think you know if the current form of the robot arms isn't working as well as they'd like it to they have to tweak it I'd be more interested when they have it a lot better plateau because right now it's just not good enough to work in the big leagues that he they landed Cleese doing a fabulous job and that but it's just not there yet you know the worst thing though Danny is every game you watch they've got the the case at all on the track what you know pitch tracks whatever it's called and it it it's amazing how many times a ball right over the plate but the catcher catches a wrong and it's called all red you know what that case known is quite usually is this quite often that actor yeah it's not as because it's off center because if it were centered in the batter's eye the camera would so as a result if not three dimensional its singular needs to mention and it doesn't really get adjusted for the strike zone as well as it should I really think you know there's a seventeen inch plate and it doesn't capture the entire place in terms of gaps when the employers value waited they have a much more precise system and that one is starting to be utilized right now by the Atlantic league so I think just be careful about those those dimensions in right right on the screen they're not that good at least you to at least you didn't go with the human error or human error thing because I always say you know human error should be for the players are in all a yell that's what it is not for the officiating of the game I want to get everything called right because Daddy you know there's there are players lose jobs because of bad calls are managers lose calls because lose jobs because of bad calls if you can get it right I'd love to get him all right yeah I understand Fred but I think until we know we're going to actually get it right I don't want I don't want to so we went inside and when Danny says now it's right then did you would be okay with the right once it's right I yeah I'd be less okay not to put words and then is not anyone's next time we have been in going to ask you about the shift you know I used to say the total I'm sorry to say it out of my cell data you know what it's maybe they have to keep two guys on one side a second job guys I know that the man infield grass can you give me a quick yeah and that one that I've checked for for them not to cross that imaginary line the intersectional home plate to second day say I just think it's hurt the game one loss and sizzling taken some of the fun out of the wall of the pole inner Fred you've been to seal the drains yeah you and Danny what's going on there hi guys I'm having so much fun I'm consulting for the field of dreams movie site help them bring the baseball game between the Yankees and the white Sox and we've got some big plans on the horizon at at this field of dreams site it is just such a glorious place to work it's pristine areas all this right with the world it's been a very very fun summer for me thus far with some big things down the line that's going to be fine I can me and it's very cool that the first game night when I saw the stadium immediately before even read the article when I saw a level just like old Comiskey park in that I read out and said you know it's kind of a tribute with the way the ball pads are in center field and and the the dimensions the way it's all going to be laid out that's gonna be very cool all you need is a guy like can very to be jumping over the center field fence catching about Mike hers per it's going to be spectacular August thirteenth of twenty twenty looking so far to it we're doing a lot of things surrounding that game we have a lot of the bands after field of dreams throughout the year and I I'm so looking forward because the first the first few months in doing this has been an absolute blast for real nice to Danny maybe don't come out every in that way thirty years that combined with the again like you did this Danny is a modest very modest Daniella's because he was a pioneer you know in the use of technology for baseball evaluation is over the holidays Danny was right there with everybody and long time while the white Sox assistant GM Danny will let your run on a busy day thanks for your personal time now it's time.

Joe Maddon two more years and you know he's got two years left Panama bye bye go back to Boston here's your twenty million they got common and for white Sox fans number three Eric what do we have number three there number three is how do you feel today about the rebuild is this multiple choice I should remember what I wrote optimistic disillusioned or panicky all right again as of yet white Sox fans how do you feel today today about the rebuild optimistic do disillusioned or panicky all right well now he has planned one thousand Danny Evans John is that maybe Danny like the a jump in on some of the Twitter Paul our friend through through them do you still need a manager now this is right up your alley did somebody got a hold I got to yeah you've been consistent for about I'm the only guy about it I would buy a cell phone I'm like Tom Hanks around the island the red seal blade guy I'm talking to is Wilson the volleyball by yeah I for years and years I've said IT managers are are are highly over rated games because the managers when games because of players and you lose games maybe because of the manager of the way he runs a bowl patter things like that but last year you saw Aaron Boone comes in handy you saw Alex Cora comes eight hours correlate with the World Series odds for a great manager well he had some pretty good job so up until today has anyone ever agreed with you on this almost nobody almost nobody yeah but you know what you stick by your guns you just you know that's why when people ask what what should the whites out with the white Sox what Joe mad don't know why but that's what I said up until today has anyone agreed with you I've never heard but I don't know maybe a person here and a person there guys that think I know what I'm talking about all right so let's look back at the Twitter poll question baseball general managers do they still let sales managers dina dug out are they still need it yes Sir now I'm starting to come around not necessarily totally rain way right what these guys like CEO and these guys all the GM you know what the day's coming I don't know when five years two years ten years there's gonna be no manager what the world is now you said there's got to be someone very subtle may not make pitching changes yeah that made the line ups because basically IV or even the pictures okay makes them think not here is what I see coming and yours your behind us in a different direction for as long as you we've been together the day's coming they'll be no manager at all here's what they'll be they'll be a guy in the dugout he might not even have a uniform is gonna have a title the analytic implementor okay he's going to have the headphones I just like the home plate up and they're gonna tell I'm from New York my one straight to the guy the dugouts gonna be microphone Dobbs divers headphones on and all of a sudden a voice like a lecture comes across the field yeah or it'll be the head of analytics so instead of one yes once that but it'll all be program so it is that like when you ask Alexa you know what time is it now why he yes so this one I'll just say election we'll just say it is time to put rented Kinsler in the game absolutely yeah okay draw strobe up well they'll tell what city they won't even tell the water that come the analytic implementor villages that ring the diet of the last ones to restructure and say it strong there's a guy you need you need a lesser stroll dancer fall to hold the clipboard out their answer the phone you need those guys so obviously were being a little over the top well I'm a little we just don't know when yeah yeah they'll be no more because they don't want anyone to die not making any decisions it'll all be done and it was going to do a hand thing with if Joe is not there which was going to do those things with them he's gonna have to find a player to do that its data driven the game right or wrong it's dated it is now it's completely data driven and Donna if there's some other things like Rick Renteria this week it is said that you know talking about the constructing his batting order if they don't like it I don't really give a as black white and black yeah yeah and then they are then Balsall than the other writers as to be come out the financial needs of France well you don't end up in Joe man he pointed out early this week a couple times he pointed out the job well you know there's a lot going on and behind the scenes there you know the look that had one of the other side is this you know I got to make a last minute decision plus we know that you have to do a lot cattle some players get all the others sandy and the manager is that gonna be that what was L. Drago bird is that there's a call for state you remember the movie than that the natural with Amanda you had like the guy in Houston basically hypnotized everybody in the Robert Redford sat at an office I don't need to sit listen to this stuff well that's what you need you need a guy who's had a column the players down when they were a little ruffled you need to guys is it all they say here you need to rest let's sit you down for a day you can watch the gave little you need those guys in the locker room because without I guess you know in in the words of Cosmo Kramer without without rules you get chaos well without a manager somewhere you've got chaos so all you got to have at least one guy who is the ultimate guy who's going to make the decisions of right or wrong or even just you know what you're saying is you don't need the guy you'll just have the what what is it now the analytic what implementor the analytic ample of matter one of them they did in the manager is going to be gone they'll be no general for all those guys they say you know we don't need him anymore we don't want it anymore we will tell the guy the dog out with the new title we should run this by someone that would maybe have some day so no one hang up on us to send the information right not to yank the venture I don't do this to a good manager that's going to one of our favorite guys why should know god number one yeah Paul did he other Zac white Sox assistant GM he read the Dodgers in the big chair that god's Seattle Toronto baseball prospectus so my dad let's say hello also in front of the council Kurn consulted the field of dreams very cool white Sox will be there Danny Meyer from Fred good morning my friend what's going on the two of my favorite guys in Chicago radio how are you won't find I've known you long enough I still I'm still call you Danny is it okay if I tell you daily or you can my friends call me Danny don't worry about it no problem no Danny for a lot yeah well I mean it's all a quick story about two years ago my buddies and I'll turn sixty we get tickets for course field and my buddy works for the white Sox and got his tickets and I'm walking down we're about seven rows behind home plate and I walk past this gods and all of a sudden I turn around a two rows behind me is there any evidence first thing that he says you get such good seems better not us they are very very unfortunately it was a nice it was nice theory for the Rockies at one two out of three it was also the last weekend that that was taken out of pitch for the white Sox he got traded immediately afterwards yeah well Fred I was just happy to see you were doing well health wise that really meant a lot to me knowing what you went through thanks thanks Danny Danny Evans we will find out what's going on with field of dreams a cars in a few minutes really quick topic here we let off the show and how does what I do is I sit around I think and that's a problem because a friend what was your dad I know you said you know stop think it is not good for you and I used to it right when you're not used yeah can you know do they do sure guys now the general managers now press really want a manager do they really need a manager not because I'm not Murphy but here's what I'm thinking it might not be for ten years five years two years a hundred but some Danny they'll just be a guy in the dugout I'm gonna name in the yeah analytic implementor he won't even have a uniform I just had the headphones on and someone UP India and the you know numbers department the analytic or the general manager of self well just say all right pull the picture all right now all right time for a double still a go and I don't know that so the front office guys in your band one from the top to the middle really anymore do they what the manager do they feel that something that is that you know just sort of gets in the way but we got it out of them in general and I know this is a little cockamamie off the wall but maybe some day it'll seem more like well you know what Marcin fed and Danny they talked about this certain number years ago what do you think well mark I think there is an element out there of people who think they're smarter than they really are and think they know the game better than they do and they think that analytics gives them all the answer when managers real skill set is communication it's got to feel its use of analytics and its strategy and he's a guy who has all the microphone sticking in the face at the end of a loss and I think as a result anyone who faked who feels that somebody can just use numbers to run a baseball game it's just not that easy and I think you should let the players playing the managers and coaches manage and coach what the executives be executives and I think.

"In there longer than this E. S. P. N. one and for calmer low your call here at ESPN one thousand the call last night password this Jay's that was I'm not a nice thing WGN TV right I want to check out your work for because the news was like for sure yes yes so yeah it was a a five nothing comes lead affair they were unable to add on and then they gave up one run past the idle stores got out of the plate in the eighth inning to wrap up the eighth inning could've been five to two so it's five one and then bad things happen in the ninth inning a six run ninth inning for the Phillies and they get the victory cubs get swept in Philadelphia after splitting four in Cincinnati three one two three three two three seven seven six we'll talk about it yes he's going to join us for a one thirty and now they go to Pittsburgh for two games and their Williamsport Pennsylvania for another one and and that should be exciting I venture to be actually are that is the ESPN game Sunday night six ten I think wonderful yeah see you get Madagascar's chan is going to have any of the old players come out of the corn field or might confuse at your computer that's next year okay yeah that's thanks you're coming out of straightening me out actually they actually have just up back down the corn really going to build the temporary stadium yeah Danny Evans former a white Sox assistant GM posted something on Twitter an app from an aerial view why when she will corn grown until September and then cut it down in September well I may just rooted up just now I mean I was just I was just that and harvested maybe the sweet corn is all gone I don't know I was just out into two home ready to do brewery out and odd let Alan Ryan they had just got done offer their farms they got the brewer there can they have a farm he brought yet to bushels huge bags of corn so I guess this is the picking contest so maybe they got the corner and perfect I thought it was the tassel in time I don't yeah I know nothing about court other than I like it okay who's the whose nickname is the tassel is in the state of Illinois which high school there's a school this got past winners yes there is and I I forgot it already I thing about corn jurors yes you were thinking so I know he's land but there is a deep Dazzler and I will find it for you okay all real quickly let's let's put a cap around something that's because and this is all yeah we have that we have a an officer of the law the she says that added to join I work for CP well you know it says I I'm speaking to you know but I want to gauge park because old owl's hoo hoo anyway yeah well you who exactly I'm not you know it says its says fourteen and you say fifteen I get people that call me I'm like there's a mortgage and we make it at home when I say well how about eighteen maybe that's not even good enough what is fourteen which can't be wrong alone for more than twenty four hours so you can still get in trouble we should have their home by themselves let's be honest you should leave any kid alone probably for twenty four hours I mean exactly that place it you know they asked me a question eighteen ninety many teams I wrote I was eighteen course I listen you guys I can only imagine so it's got to be the same thing and think about it all what we are eighteen if you're left alone for twenty four hours or be a big party at the house all it's almost five yeah usually was only for a couple hours after school day that I got home about five o'clock something like that yeah and it was important because you know your mother had to work father was working you know it would be good to take it take a time off you could know it got to a point we both had to work so that that's our or put a cap on that one we just wanna make sure we get that thing squared away get everything squared away by the way thirty five states do not have any age okay whatsoever so you just you go yeah so they're good to go they can leave their kids home for a thousand years nobody would care just only from the car that's right now that's not a good thing others are brought you by PhD if you're ready to elevate your game and play golf as you were meant to play it visit PhD Chicago today to schedule a customer club fitting it the old one the lost last night was just right before the cubs lost right before the Harper Homer I saw some people on Twitter saying well St Louis just lost and then like moments afterwards Harper hits a Homer self it this division was Saint Louis Milwaukee really isn't good they their their boyfriends that good they really don't have a lot of hitters they're struggling and it tied for first place you could be in worse positions sure you could tell of arms dragging you're gonna get contraries back I think you're gonna get route Addison Russell back well you know you know you'll have by as it's the flu by as is coming back Jimmy's gonna be less policy than it is right now or swollen or whatever it is and you're starting pitcher I mean Darvish it again last night lot of people were saying you leave me longer Darby seven innings for hits no runs no walks again and he struck out ten he's been tremendous Hamel's is been a shocker how bad he's been you know in two of his three outing since he's returned from injury but you did not expect that the starting pitching is what's got you for the most part where you are this year you know you're starting pitcher yeah the starting pitching has been for an extended period of time good except for the odd weird game out of Lester out of Cole Hamels I to consign a yeah Hendrix's had one of those games where it looks like you can get the book or you get a guy out everybody and their brother shellacking that ball yeah hundreds is that's been surprise he goes tonight in the first game against the pirates it's Hendrix against your Musgrove tonight then Lester again Stephen brawled tomorrow afternoon and then cantata and Mitch Keller all the big names Stephen brought Mitch Keller that'll be the little league classic at Williamsport coming up on a Sunday this statue out there already and when the game ended last night the Phillies had lost three hundred sixteen consecutive games with a lot with a trail by at least four rods entering the bottom of the ninth the cubs chance to win the game they're up five to one ninety eight point eight after the James a girl fly out the lead off the ninth the cubs at a ninety nine point six percent chance to win the game how that go entering Harper's it bad it was down to sixty seven percent this is where the instantaneous gambling would come in yes you're right because it would be a two hundred to about two hundred twenty to one shot that the Philadelphia Phillies could come back yet but it will make that way yeah say they're coming back yeah how much it's going to come into play right here that's your role was asking me maybe you guys can talk about that today and the odd couple I know you're filled in for Garmin tonight you might you know art that's going in there but I take that to twenty to one shot right there yeah just on a lark kind of flyer that might happen that's it I can't remember which is you know what it is I think was one of the ones in Jersey but they said that's where they're making more than half their money and those kind of back trying not the before the game that forty game balance in game game right yeah in game wagering and they they had talked about originally having the the kiosks in the arena so maybe at half time you go into your Stoppani kiosk if you grab your pretzel and beer and on the way back your sis you're making a wager I was doing it they're ahead of us yeah I've seen some of I was they look like the broken down T. B. as asylum he's in Merrillville Indiana it looked like a bingo hall yeah they should have they should have taken the picture to realize how bad the picture look did not put out what you need to make these facilities for premium players yeah you're right it's got to be nice it's gonna be like you one of the Country Club yeah and I was gonna be like a Vegas casino it's got to be fancy it's got to have the lights it's got everything I have all the bells and whistles to attract make at Darvish his last four starts he has no walks in thirty six strikeouts remember the Yu Darvish that was our last year people were saying a wasted money and all that will last year was a waste of money it was this year he's the guy that asked for the ball after the all star game he said listen I haven't done my job I want to get the start after the all star break this guy's been pitching great he did well last night there are five nothing leave and they can't hold onto it and the question is now house what kind of affect second have that these guys this is Rachel bad right managing comes in and we'll see if you can do it yeah this is what it comes after listening to Joe Maddon anymore not when you're Cruisin yeah if they make that you have the old tune out factor every once in awhile yeah you know that's I know players two of the two people out that's on them that's their response you've got to be able to take the input you get from your coaches your management you got to be able to take that you've got to be able to implement that utilize it if you can what's important what's necessary you got to filter through all the crap and find out exactly what it is you need yeah this is where the manager comes into play is when the players come into play next year and let's face it the guys upstairs you just basically said never gone you know they're they're pulling the hair out of her head trying to fax there at Starbucks right now probably currently said there haven't triple chai latte Houston I like yeah trying to figure it out looking at the computer for trying to figure out why the computers back on a spit out better stuff you brought up a good point it a lot of it is the computer that's what the you know but the NYC cast the adults pick up has been tremendous okay he's been a guy that would be perfect for that but what he did buy one he did was he moved Hey we're dissenter it happened in the infield yesterday happy to office hello yeah yeah this place now feel but you don't have second base they've plates I think it's seven they played seven different guys a second base it's kind of like if you have three quarterbacks you have done no quarterbacks always have some rough estimate was Addison Russell important or not everybody just wants the poo poo Addison Russell I I guys because I always want to keep them if you're going to keep and keep him quiet right that's true plan and joy try to recapture some of the magic until may be his value gets up there then you movement on off season and then get your second basement that you need the future what I'm gonna do will as you move forward so I was always in favor of keeping we'll talk about the bears exhibition game preseason game they take out the giants six thirty tonight in in New York will discuss that come to face painfully athletic joins us at one o'clock we come back we'll talk more about the cubs are lost last night I stayed up to midnight there was another big night then in last night the white Sox scored four runs they did and still lost by one we'll talk about that more three one two three three two three seven seven six everybody says Hey if you want to talk my tax baseball you gotta call Carmen show what courage that here but I'm here and we could talk white socks and or comes along your goal here at ESPN one thousand.
