Once if you're lucky once in lifetime that was a great time returning anyone in particular. I was doing everybody man I was like you know trying to be. I don't know gleason the Peter Falk. Everybo- anybody I can think of it was was good call caller in their in their bones. I. Did meet a couple of people in New York I met the one guy who was it was based like there was a there was an article that was in one of the magazines. That's where they found this story about all the cab drivers who did something else rex one guy who was a cab driver that was the judd character everybody else liked Tony. Wanted to be a boxer. Mary Lou was into art of Bobby. Wheeler. Wanted to be an actor. Right down the line? And And but I didn't get to meet this one guy in in a who is a dispatcher who? Really. Coastal this Guy Fifty Seventh Street in Manhattan and so I got to hang out in the garage a little bit with them also. A lot of things the way actors collect things and they rub off on him and. I WanNa I. WanNa just I'm going down memory lane with you here Danny I mean one of the CUCKOO's nest. If you have you caught that anytime lately every once in a while I'll snag onto that and I'll look at it. You know watch it and see that was we shot that I think in nine, hundred, seventy four. And I done just some off Broadway working a couple of little small parts and things but That was a great. That was also great gift. Being able to do Martini and every once in a while I'll look at it and just say where Did that guy go. Somewhere Martini, still in there somewhere. But. Yeah caked in the in the crust of Danny or was Nicholson like on that set. It was really was on a pleasure to work with them. You know we're from the same neighborhood in new, Jersey like nearby like say like I'm from Asbury he's from Neptune was very close to. Down the shore it's very close knit thing. I always hear about this guy is my sisters were older than I was and they were they had a friend who who's the baby brother or whatever went to California. He was a really good looking guy he went Jack Jack and I used to hear about him all the time being a guy who was in California you're going to be he hadn't been. A movie star yet, and then all of a sudden boom he bursts out on the screen and he's like you know there is. And then I saw a lot of his films and was cast in cougars lesson I remember the first day in. We were in Salem Oregon at a real institution. You know it's like. And we were working on Milosz everybody in the day room and we had ten days rehearsal before we started shooting, and during that time, I never told him. And one day. I guess Michael told him that I was from Asbury. And he came around the corner like with big big smile on his face seems live Danny wide, you told me for her and that was that we started talking about all the people that we knew and common like all the crazies from Jer, the Jersey Shore. All wonderful be will that we grew up with you know and It was like really cool thing because we got to know each other he only knew me as I was always in character. Martini was really a pain in the neck I was always like. You know insinuating myself to something getting in on some moving in this other people's space and that. Was it was Kinda Fun. It's funny. I mean of all the obviously Jersey people hear about all the time obviously in our in our entertainment world s a lot of. You don't normally hear. Nicholson as a Jersey guy. I don't know maybe. courtside all those years. Maybe he's really very very Jersey and I didn't know back then in the in the in town but but rumor has it that he was always into basketball and always into sports and always like a you know and and. So but you know since of course since we met in in the seventies. We anytime. We get a chance to talk about Jersey. That's the thing we talk about down the shore the. That was. LA-, golden place to be I mean if you were in the East Coast the Jersey shore was Asbury. Belmar Neptune minus mattis gone and all those places down long branch that was like that was the criminal. Cram. You. So now obviously it's makes sense Bruce Guy Right that's right. Yeah. Lovely a big Fan I've seen..

All of a sudden in San Francisco area these two guys Rudy Golan on and Jay Sandwich put the play on the play yeah the same play here and they did they were successful and but that was in the it was like one thousand nine hundred seventy yeah because at that time people started catching up the keys right yeah and now everybody was reading his book and they were looking at what was going on with the with mental health and how they throwing everybody out of the hospitals goals and it was all about pills every week in in his office and the lobotomies the total shit hit the fan and the play with successful in San Francisco they brought it to New York off Broadway. Yep and edition for the part of Martini with Lee Sanca which and got it and do great and build a vein played mcmurphy. Oh Wow and and I could see that yeah he was great and we ran we were at the Mercer Arts Center and we ran for like almost the I left after this is a an actor needs needs work right. I left after a year and I had another job so I got the job but the idea is you. You get apart I. I didn't think I'd ever leave leave. Leyva play and I love doing it. I love doing what Martini was a great character. Yeah childlike good. I it must have been fun. Yes uh-huh. Yes you back right there. Martinez artnews came back the only thing I'm not doing sitting on my feet. I should do that and then they just started you for the move because you were the guy well they well. They saw it. I'm yellow sought. I first auditioned for Hal Ashby how he was going to do it. Really there was a very a brief period of time when Hal Ashby was going to do it could have done a good job yeah yeah great director here and addition for him and it was like kind of like I had a friend in the on the inside Michael Douglas who I met at Eugene O'Neill Foundation in Waterford Connecticut in one thousand nine sixty something we were smoking pot together yeah and did that hope. That's what I was doing. My summer stock thing. Oh He Michael Douglas Sixty four or five. What was he doing up there. He was a he was actually in school in. UCSB was doing a summer program in Connecticut and that's where you met him and he he's championing. He's championing the thing and he was in my corner. Yeah and then meal Shaw then me which did his his great audition process which was like so amazing we we go to this place the Harlequin studios in midtown Manhattan and you go upstairs and there's a semi circle of chairs S. Yeah in one chair in the middle and all these actors and militia was the big nurse and he would improvise with the Initi- questions so so you you're Martinez and Mr Martinez. Would you do today well. Did you do today. What was your day like and you go on. Why this that and then he'd go harding? Would you think about how Mr Martinez conducted his day yeah and then hardy break my balls in and I would attack harding and then he would get scanlon in there and he would get so he got the entire group there okay so no because well it every time you go back a right yeah. He was there eventually right but every time you go back there were some and people with the same and some people are different to you and so he was what he was doing was building his cast. I think audition like I gotta be five six times and it was all through improvising through improvising. Wow so you'd go. You ought to be a constant. He you were then you'd see Vinnie Ski Valley there twice yeah then you see Lloyd there. They were also that was like life changing right a great great time people like it's odd. I would imagine that anytime even with tax even with this money. There's still people that like you know Martini Janati love it. They love. It's a great movie. Militia made a great movie and it was it was a great project all around and everybody was really fun in there and I got to and SCAP man was like such a trip. Oh Yeah Oh my God Jack when you when I first I met him and you're both Jersey guys. He's mass going on from Asbury yeah. We're born in same hospital. Are you guys still pals right. He's good good. I'm for wall so like after Cuckoo's nest where you live in here. I came out here. You have to Cuckoo's nest because that was like anger it yeah we're chew here. It shot in Salem Oregon. Most of it was in the hospital and then we did deep obey for fishing scene. That was really fun except we all got sick as a dog 'cause meal. She wanted to go out fifteen miles out into the water. You didn't WanNa see land wherever he shot and so we had a we had boats with us. Police Bowed Code Bubba Bob Oh yeah and then we did then I came back here. I came to California and I was doing like little parts like I. It's a policewoman I did did Starsky and Hutch. When I went to work I would you get that script. You get cast in it well. Well you get you get that scripting. You gotta go meet them so I did this thing. There's a famous story yeah. I know you've heard a million times. I got this. I love this yard yard. Louis was a great part. Now you gotta go in and meet them and Joel said you know these guys. I didn't know anything anything about them because they had never seen Mary Tyler Moore and never seen any of these house where we know. I was doing things man anymore. Watch television and you you know what I mean and so it was cool with the paramount at this beautiful office. They're all in their doorway. Brooks's in their Weinberger Stand Daniels Dave Davis couple of the people and Weinberg's got his sleeves rolled up in a script in his hand bright and as chair right across the way from you and you know that's the hot seat. You're at the door. They're sitting at a table. They're sitting around a like a like a real soft cushy place behind a a coffee very well appointed office as the chair beautiful news the chair that you know that it's so well we do. We nurse see you go and so third Joe Thursday this Danny Devito. This is the pump you do. I say one thing I want to know before I start who wrote this shit and threw it on the table and that was it they fucking there was one step man was total terror. I thought man you fuck lock yourself out of a job nothing and then they fucking hit and you know brooks and those guys. I just didn't know them at all. They laugh like their own like fucking patented and they went crazy rolled of now. I walked a chair. I know where I am in my room right. You've got you did. It's my room yeah. I couldn't say anything that wasn't funny. I say and and they fucking can piss echo so boom. You know what I mean. If it was a it was a gift it was a good one and then I got to meet all my my best friends. I met you know the whole cast to become my best friends for for we didn't. We did it for five years. Only people think we did it longer. I mean I've doing sunny now. These guys are terrific and I love him. Fourteen years we've been together revisiting took a year off for when Kayla had babies and and one of the babies and they're like family so they don't like my kids. I feel like they're getting older kids. You know I'm younger kids and everyone from taxi guys. We're good friends. Yeah I work with Judd Sunshine Boys Down downtown so we've Richard Grid. I did that in the in London. He passed through a passed away and judd came in and we had a ball down. You know all we had so much fun and there were a couple things. Were like really cool doing it with Judd because you know he was coming coming in to the play right so I had it down. I done the show four hundred times of something he comes into the show and there are a couple of nights where he looked at me and we have the same kind of relationship right in a way that judd and Louis one time he looked at me in the middle of the thing that he went Louis and y'all have we just one little beat where we didn't now you know he knows like really cool. He's in the moment he was in the mall. We were doing is breaking in his balls and he's going Louis. Willie very easy to make we had so much fun. Oh that's hilarious after one hundred thirteen louise he's I love them right. Of course it's in his brain. Oh Yeah we had a great time and I see Tony all the time..

Would Avenue is a little bit farther which one was the dirty street with all the dirty business on it and whatnot. I don't know I mean hookers everywhere. Were you know I mean. It's like a business. Everybody's trying to make ends meet some way I mean there's a lot it's a lot of difficulty out there. The people suffering people are starving in those days. You know you know this was like you know I guess was before FDR and it was around that time I had a couple of uncles who worked for the park system. Yeah you know and that was because of that. Go ahead and that kind of really watch them. I watched them work when I was a kid right. He's he's the Grad tail comb. You don't need to like the things like lake right and it's like it comes out like yeah really beautiful work of art anyone my sister worked for him and then and I I was doing things like gardening work for Gardner Jog Serrano Great Guy Yeah Yeah Giacomo. How does he had his You know he's he's a college graduate. He has yet you know. I don't know if you had a master's or what are you had a real smart guy historian. Learn some stuff I work with him uh-huh that every year pulling weeds and learning about history learning about and and when does when does the desire to act how does income for a while so you're gardening what other odd jobs okay so my sister got me. Angie say Angie says one day Why don't you come to work so she goes from local. Janis yeah that she opens up this place and Beauty Paul. Oh Man Yeah on on Asbury Avenue so she says to me one day. I am if you can imagine this. I'm like always on my bicycle. Sickle always on my friends always down the boardwalk always bird dogging women always trying to get like you know this Jersey Guy Yeah. We're down at the you know. This is like could we do you hang out you still happen. It's always that way to live. It's you know it's it's so now. I'm I'm going to dances going to things like a young man. I gotTA drive car. I gotTA look ship box. I gotTA I'm working as a gardener and she's got me doing hair to my my mother. My aunts my cousins anybody anybody she can get to sit in the thing she buys me. All the stuff here and you know started doing it you cutting hair. I didn't start cutting hair. They trust me with a scissor right away right but eventually yeah really yeah eventually did it all and then they went to school so she sent me to this place you ice school yeah uh-huh Wilfred Academy so you went to he went. I went and you weren't had to cut hair for real. Yeah you learn a lot of things learned to do. Pin Curls rollers combing out of Mentor Mentor didn't do men okay so so I know she knows it's a beauty parlor Angie's Angeles abuse line now going thing. She gave me the smock the bag all Shinhan it everything I've been working in the summer learning how getting a little head start. I know I gotta go up a little nervous. Go Up to this place in Wilford a guy up dare on Cookman Avenue. I walk up the stairs opening doors. I look inside here. This thirty five girls okay. You're like all right pretty good so I thank my sister. She was really instrumental. Impeach me a lot of things I never forget and she's beauty. She died a few years ago. She's gorgeous. She was great. She was the best she was like one of the rare you know one. One of these rare mentors really great. She keeps the shop she shop for quite a while. I've worked there for about two three years and then I I left. I went to New York and I went to school in the kind of an odd way. How'd you tell her. You're relieving all going. It's cool. She were all cool. Do you think he can still do hair. I could probably still can't styles of different but you think you'd like if you're yeah I probably could do at gunpoint. You wouldn't need to become point point manner I like doing. It was really cool thing yeah yeah. I used to cut my. Here's me like if you had to go back to work. I mean I do that. Could you do a style ahead hair. Yeah that's good. I have no problem now. It's like riding a bike right. It is kind of like riding a bike so you go to New York. I'm going up and I went to the American Academy dramatic arts but that's another story. One thing leads to another and you never know what's GonNa Happen. Is Your Guy. At the Academy of Dramatic Arts he was a guy Mr Barrot was this guy I called him. Mr Barrot he was a guy who's who taught acting styles in and he talked talked. You know about people that I never heard of like Stanislavsky here you know and introduced me to playwrights that I'd never read. I never I never saw play. I so compelled you to do with them. I mean like well. I got up you know I will. There was the Mac nations again. There was the whole thing edgy telling me to go to New York to be to try to learn how to do make up. We're GONNA open up a makeup stand. Oh in the place I went to this place for kind of convoluted anyway. Once I got there and admiral in the enrolled in night school and once the American Academy Academies Dramatic and once I got a it's almost like as a stand up guy I've never done stand up and it's got to be the most exhilarating thing in the world once you get up and do it right because I know that that's what happened to me. Once I got up you know after to do a scene gene and I was in there with classmates and whatever once I got up and I started connecting the things and starting to feel like I was. I had something under my feet yeah and knew what I was doing. Yeah do more than one thing at the same time here like think about the thing that you're up there and then you're trying to figure out what the characters wanting running and doing and then all of a sudden vaccines may be some things click right and you feel like there's a response because that's part of a to who the audience is part of it too right then that thing happens is happening. You sure Yeah Holy Shit. It's it's like this. You go down the shore. It's real real hot day. You're looking at the Atlantic Ocean and you start walking in and your feet immediately get frozen and you go and then it's better and you go to your ankles in an experiment go to you knees right anti a little bit and then you balls you jump in these damn for many let you go away. Yeah you're out there yeah out there and that was the feeling I think so yeah and so if I remember correctly it was like I got hooked on myself. Yeah Yeah Yeah and then you tell your sister like no makeup and I came back and I said boy. This is really interesting. You know you're reading of mice and men in the media and that was it she was she was happy for you. Oh you ain't got her. Blessing always got my blessings from my sisters and my family so how'd you start working in the New York. You start doing shows where your pot dealer. WHO's carried by. You know you start other ways. She you know like all it. It's not that was the big time time that was paying making you know you know it's doing like you know like what they call summer restock which is like I took. I got up early sixties yeah early. Sixties goodspeed house at Dennis Play House Children's Theatre Cape Children's interest theater in Dennis Massachusetts. Wow played the wicked wizard in some made up play. Yeah offer kids really really great and you get an agent that book and the on an agent with these aprea backstage show business those papers. We used to look at it. Go go on open calls and stuff like that but you're doing children's theatre yeah and you wind up getting getting called for something yeah and you you know it's jobs jobs jobs job. You get all comedy most comedy why we being tagged off money. Who's all comedy yeah. I don't think it was very tragic. No it was really straight. I was like you know Y- over here. You know what I mean that kind of thing. That was all fun. I'm got a Cape in one show. The wicked wizard scattered should everybody you know what I mean. Yeah and also you know it had it had a two year. I guess you know when you say.

What part no no no no sin failure which is a it's a it's above Naples above Sorrento there in the middle you go up the mountains? It's mountain. It's as high as it goes and it's a little place you can look it up. It's called San F. e. l. e. and it's a little little medieval town like just plopped in the middle of one of my grandparents is from another one is from put. Now you've got a whole boatload clams like really then you get into water and you swim it back dock right on the river. It's not it's not dangerous right. You've got bags bit burlap bags and you stuff the clams in these burlap bags. I mean you get like two three. I don't know maybe four bags yeah big burlap bags full clamps yeah and you hook them on the talk on the bottom of the dock yeah right hangar right and it's called call floating them yeah so they stay there overnight in the bags and they stay alive and they stay open yeah and all the scene. He just drive to everyone's got at a place. Let's go to Joe Joe's Dover thing all right and it's the greatest my brother-in-law had a pizza pies. You did at a for a very short period of time at a restaurant in flight. Danny de Vito put my name on it and then it turned into something that was not like you know not very good not on on the level not on the level and I found out about it and I got away wasn't food problem. Now wasn't a food people pay. Not I was is not there all the time. What is with you celebrity fellas. I don't know with the restaurants deal. It's not that easy business. This is it I did. People don't don't remember a lot of stuff that happened in our country in the days of the depression where people were really hurting that no jobs that know that nothing you know things. Were really really really bad. Cold water flats that kind of there and if you had kids you know there was no you know the doctor was a thing that is very hard to keep them healthy and tube due to babies one was in the hospital a boy who I've always heard about and one was a little girl who was actually Ashley a couple years old who got the whooping cough in in in a cold water flat during the depression then they extricated themselves from the they were there sitting yeah yeah because my mom lived in Jersey. He married her. It was really like you know but he wanted to be in the city he was it was a guy from Brooklyn. He was he a lot of Lakey. At a pool hall. Roll man my all man really worked all the time and and and went back. We're his family. was there yeah so he was with his mother and his father. "Okay on the side of the the thing I'm getting a lot of these questions about the controversy. What is really controversial? You know what what is manufactured and what is this controversy over. I don't know I did one scene in the fucking joker movie and I did pretty good in it and you I know there's a swirl of questions or whatever you WANNA call it some sort of cultural psychic worlwide and around the the timing of the movie the nature of the movie whether this is the right time for a movie about a guy who you know mentally troubled and create you know in snaps we they all that shit I understand but shouldn't the focus beyond maybe healthcare mental health treatment in on on a national level shouldn't the focus be on gun issues. I understand progressives and and people who are are fighting and working hard to create policy. Let's see that will benefit all people in the in in terms of healthcare and saw and also in terms of guns and it's frustrating because there's a lot of obstacles right now because there's sort would've listrik crew of apocalyptic morons in charge on all levels with different variations of apocalyptic from religious to just you know fuck you fuck me. Fuck it all and I know that that angered doesn't always have a place to land but he can't land on on movies. I mean if anything the media sort of debate debated is trying to provoke something awful happening but in movies don't cause this and and I don't see how blaming movies is going to help anything. I do not think that movies are to blame for mentally unstable people taking action in a criminal violent way alright so Danny Devito is here who I love who doesn't love Danny Devito. How can you not love the Guy Right. Did I do all the ads. I don't feel like I did did. I we have about this. How about at the beginning of the show right. You're me do that. Add the squarespace ad I said. squarespace makes it easier than ever to turn your dream into a reality. Saudi member. I just said that a while ago. But what exactly does that mean well..

"Tour. Los Angeles come out. I would grab these. It's not a big place so a couple of hundred people for show give or take aright right down here at the Red Cat theatre. It's GonNa be fun. It's GONNA be exciting. It's GONNA be different. I don't know how different it's going to be. It becomes sort of a tricky thing too. You can't reinvent the wheel with a comedy special but sometimes you can get some different angles. You can make a look a little different but by coin's. I don't know if it's by coincidence but I was going to do it at the Shubert and we couldn't get some shots that we wanted to get and Schubert is not unlike a lot of theaters built in that avion in that time probably early nineteen hundreds a lot of the specials you see a lot of the mid size theaters that we play comics. Are those theatres eaters. Vaudeville theatres some stage theaters built in the early nineteen hundreds and they all have saying the same vibe that some of them have different ghosts slightly different decor but it's sort of the same vibe and you get it you know it you've seen it on other specials and we just couldn't pull off what we wanted to pull out there which is really just a couple of shots that would would have been difficult to execute if not impossible given the structural problems so now we're at the red cat which is where we're going to shoot the special on October tober thirtieth day before Halloween seven o'clock show at ten o'clock show Los Angeles. That's that's where we're doing it. Grab those tickets. I'm repeating myself. I know I'm just Estonians. You get them but this is a classic kind of mid size blackbox here where we can really do whatever we want with it but it's going to have a different space to it a different and vibe it's. I think it's going to feel different. It's going to look different. I'm not exactly sure how we're going to go about doing what we're GONNA do. Lynn Shelton is directing and I'm excited about it. I think I'm GONNA approach the material a little differently than I usually do. I've been working on this stuff for over a year and I've got to make some choices voices. This is the final phase of the process which is choosing the bits fitting them together and figuring out what the ARC is or if there's a through line which I have done but I don't know if I've really tightened up to set to the point where I get onstage man and I want to go like an hour and a half two hours. It just seems to be sort sort of were uncomfortable but I really gotta get down like seventy seventy five minutes so that's the trick but I hope as many of you can come as possible. I'm looking forward to doing it there at the Red Cat and right here in town right here in La.. How do you like that I'm excited about ah how aggravated our president is I I'm excited at how freaked out and angry and scary. He's gotten because of these impeachment proceedings because because he he fucked up for real again and got caught in a way that you might stick i. It's hard to know how this system is going to handle anything but thrilling thrilling times nonetheless. I'm not sure we're going to beat out the environmental collapse but exciting stuff and he's a scumbag. He's a first class one of the great scumbags of American history that said how do I address this other stuff. I it seems that I get pressured to react to things and I just want you to know that there's a lot of things as I get older. People are asking me. What do I think about Todd Phillips. What what he said in an interview about why he doesn't make comedies anymore directed the joker and it's because you know you you can be funny anymore. It's gotten too difficult to be funny with woke culture. You know that tired saw that old saw you know there's plenty of people being funny right now not only being funny but being really fucking funny. There are lines still lines to be road. If you like to ride a line you can still ride the line. If you WANNA take chances you can still take chances. I mean really the the only thing that's off the table culturally at this juncture and not even an entirely is shameless we punching down for the sheer joy of hurting people for the sheer excitement and laughter that some people get from causing people pain from making people uncomfortable for making people feel excluded looted. you know that that excitement and as I've said before it's it's no excuse if you're too intimidated to try to do comedy that is deep or provocative or even a little controversial you know without hurting people then the. I mean you're not good at what you do or maybe you're just insensitive and you hear this. I think this is what I wanted to talk about it. A little bit is that throughout my career as a comic which is going on thirty some odd years since I've been working. I've done every kind of comedy early on I was just trying to figure out jokes in the provocative school of comedy where it was part of the agenda and I still I hear it ringing around today with sort of anti woke racquet the the anti woke bunch the edge lords as my friend Brendan in calls him is that hey man you got to challenge yourself to make the worse things funny the darkest things funny the most heinous things funny and I and I remember being of that school like if a tragedy happened you know how do we had we turn it right away without any consideration for how it will be received really that the challenge was can you do it despite the fact that it might be insensitive or wrong minded or her people is just like that didn't natter it was really about. Can you make funny and I believe that there isn't an earnestness to people who say that's what they wanNA. Do I believe they don't think they hurt people. I believe that they don't think that they're causing trouble. I believe they they just enjoy the challenge of pushing the envelope. You know just to see if they can do it but I understand it and again. Here's the deal. If you WANNA quit making comedies like todd said he he did. If you WANNA quit doing comedy fine just quit. Just don't do it anymore but to sit there and complain that you know that it's gotten too difficult well. Then what are you you just you. You just not good enough. You can't rise to the occasion or you can't figure out a way around a new perspective. I mean that's that's just a deal. Maybe it's time for you to quit. Maybe maybe that's what's happening. Sometimes it happens. Maybe you know it might be like you know colour or any other element element that loses its use or it's no longer necessary and you know you adapt to the new thing. Maybe that's that's the way to look at it or you. Move on to another GIG but bottom line is I'll say it again is that no one's telling. You can't say things or do things as you said it's going. It'd be received a certain way by certain people and you're going to have to shoulder that and if you are isolated or marginalized or pushed into a corner because of your point any of you or what you have to say yet. You still have a crew of people that enjoy it there. You go those of your people. Enjoy people and I've somehow or another another over time. I've really kind of brought together an interesting audience. My audience is generally fairly grownup people. They're they're usually a sensitive. Tiv- creative people They're people that understand my mindset. Maybe a little self involves. Maybe a little aggravated. Maybe a little existentialist despairing. Sometimes I can't generalize. I know it's not a demographic. It's more of a disposition but the one thing I know is that there are no people out there who are going to cause me problems. There are no people that misunderstand where I'm coming from. There are no meat heads are the freethinking crowd or the the drunk he kind of you know where's the pussy. AC- jokes and and look I in my career dumb plenty of sex jokes plenty of DICK ORIENTED MATERIAL VAGINA ORIENTED MATERIAL MATERIAL GENDER ORIENTED I've done. I've done all the material it's now have leveled off into being little more vulnerable a little more concerned concerned a little more reflective a little older and that's the kind of conversation I WANNA have. I'd Kinda like to have an adult conversation in not some sort of like strange strange. Men Child adolescent aggravated angry entitled conversation. I'm just fucking GROWNUP. What can I tell you and I'm a grown up without children. which honestly that worked out for the best? I think for everybody according to the FBI bi a burglary happens average of once every twenty three seconds in the United States yet..

"danny devito" Discussed on KOMO
"Danny devito is the owner of a failing circus who enlists his star performer played by Colin Farrell to care for Dumbo. Of course, the newborn elephant with particularly large ears. Brian the movie guys here could morning. Good morning. I can't wait to see this. You guys are gonna have fun fun movie. Disney's doing these days, right? They did Cidade take their animated classics. They go into the vault and they make live action versions, and it gives them reason the ability to print money, they did it with Cinderella. They did it with the jungle book Dumbo, beauty and the beast this year after Dumbo we have what do we have Aladdin? We had The Lion King. So it's gonna keep going and pretty good. Good to great. So far. This one is. It largely succeeds. That's what I want to say. It is fun. There's a little turbulence along the way. But it's got that Greek cast, Danny devito, Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton's in it as well, special effects are fantastic. And even work in that song. If you remember from the nineteen forty one original there was a song called baby mine, which brings tears to your eyes digging a really cool version of that and this movie as well, this is packed with loads of charm, tons of heart and for better at worst, your times, you mentioned director, Tim Burton. He's got that kind of dark dour demeanor that he brings to his movies that brings balance to this movie. A lot of times about the bond between mother and son, but he occasionally makes the proceedings a little melancholy for a kitty filled Saturday matinee so I think it might go over some kids heads, but they're going to be largely entertained because it is an elephant flying. It's not a groundbreaking movie. But it's a well manufactured piece of sofa entertainment. I'm going to give Dumbo a solid B had a lot of fun with it. Minor issues aside to go take the kids off a blast. A lot of high expectations for this one. Yes, flying high. It's going to make a lot of money this weekend. Yes. And it's not gonna cost peanuts to take the whole family. You know, stop it. I think it's going to unseat us as at the top of the box. Gosh, it's such a good question. Totally different movies. I think it might bring the ashes rated R you bring the whole family, you're gonna make more money. So I think so make sense spraying the guy have a great weekend to to KOMO news.

"Know about that another timeless. Disney story is returning to theaters. Kevin Frazier with our partners at AT explains. Welcome a surprise guests to their Hollywood premiere Angelina Jolie stuns on the Dumbo red carpet with four of her six children. The kids all smiles before they entered the theater to witness a Hollywood reunion almost twenty seven years in the making. In nineteen Ninety-two. Batman returns put the Cape crusader against super villain the penguin. Now. Michael Keaton, Danny devito ender director, Tim Burton are bringing the Disney classic Gumbo to life. First of all, it is a classic in the hands of Tim Burton who takes this material. Into the stratosphere. Joey opens it up into the twenty first century. Keaton working with his Batman friends was a joy as was his new Dumbo makeover. Well that was unfortunately, my idea. I was hoping you'd say it's a bad idea. And then I had to sit in the big up here. But actually those guys are so good over there. It was seamless, by the way, Michael didn't rule out the he and Tim Burton may team up again for a sequel to their classic

Resolved in that Los Angeles prosecutors say, that they are not going to pursue charges on this because of statute of limitations I reported these new charges in February. But they are from nine. Hundred eighty six in one thousand nine hundred eighty eight and she never said anything until recently so that case is resolved nothing's going to happen those, six other cases still we'll be pending and CBS decided if they're going to suspend them or has step down via says decided that. Be returning as the host of the wall AMC is announced that he will be back for. Talking dead and also talking with Chris, Hardwick so here is a case in which someone who was accused of some pretty serious charges was absolved of them there. Wasn't investigation the network's all. Did their investigations and they say that they think that it's appropriate for him to return to work as a result of all this you know he, has such a tremendous following and had such support in more the media world with noticed and and his podcast realm and he was. One of the, forefathers of that area have they brought, him back I mean 'cause he stepped down from, nervous so the idea they they kind of removed him from all that stuff so maybe he's getting work at the mainstream level. But, he's still not getting it from that no. No word on any of that All right let's lighten it up with some good news, what's going on with Iraq the rock did something nice he's got a. Stunt double that's me, and Tom Cruise by the way if you're listening you. May want to get yourself one of those cigarettes smashing your ankles all over the place I. Am tired of doing Rockstarts I'm telling you that right now just because of your uncanny resemblance to that's what. I'm talking about, now I don't know why he, chose this other stunt double who also happens too is cousin maybe that's the reason why because it's a relative family. He decided, to reward his cousin so take some aside this is all of course being videoed and the stunt double is cousin thinks. That they're just doing a little behind the scenes video. Thing but the rock starts? Talking about, how grateful he is to his. Cousin for all that he's done and for multiple injuries that he's sustained. Through the years he's he's worked as a stunt, double for the rock since the movie scorpion. King, which was the year two thousand So that was quite a while ago and turns his cousin around gives them a brand new pickup truck Nice very nice gesture I hope it's a Chevy Silverado Maybe I love the. Rock you can win. Out you know if you gotta WGN radio dot. Com slash, contest The work the plug it the cousin seemed. To, be very surprised. That there was a. Giant pickup truck behind. Him with a giant bow on it. Yeah tear it up I heard he did. He actually broke. Down the costs told me. To watch rampage so I did over the, weekend, and catch I loved. It I love everything. Iraq does he's the. One human being where you're like yeah I could. See that Really You watch, wind your watch rock. Movies. Yes I can see that happening over the. Top there's, huge, crocodile Now Mike he'd be the. One, guy jump out of a plane and survived. Get some, therapy By the way the rock Dini probably know this. This, doesn't as a six pack as well. So, that's, one of the reasons they use them occasionally I any of the. NFL full case You are a full case I have a flight case as opposed to a six pack I have a full family over qualified seventies eighties TV series of become movies. Control the board dean tell me if you. Think this is a good idea to bring to. The, big screen this is going to happen They're bringing back. As a movie fantasy island I know, the plane No. I've already taken down I want it stopped. Peter, Gingrich as tattoo well that. Sort. Of makes. Sense, right I can't well I can't decide if it should be just because, he's a little person but the more, I, thought about it Kevin Hart. Release, should be tattooed. Oh that'd be great Kevin Hart should be tremendous that. Maybe Danny devito devito? How about Kevin Hart. Danny devito's his father I think Justin suggests that the rock for tattoo I would do the. Rock really completely, opposite have the Rockaway both character Justin's a little in, love with a friend..
