And that may is actually pretty strong because there is this guy, Daniel Richmond, whose big insider with all this, He has been reporting that the cast was working on something this year but was derailed because of the Corona virus, and there has been no plans yet on went to start filming again, but they will be releasing some details soon. So cool. I would be happy with that. That would be cool. There's enough the way we can expand that story that direction just as much as we rolled it back. The fancy. Fantastic be stuff which I like. A. G. aber appeal ever be successful and he said I've seen the many times again and again with sophisticated defense lawyers but this is usually when someone's imminently going to be charged and they try to get to the deputy Attorney General and plead their case all right I have no doubt that's all true so there's going to be a lot happening here I'm but this is what I'm looking for I this is in my sources again we told you two weeks ago this is happening this is the this is the limited this is the limited inspector general report it is isolated and very specific area to the call me memos that he's had and it goes into great detail when you're reading it see its problem what I expect when we get the major report from the inspector general that would be Horowitz on Faiza abuse member will gonna get four of them this is the first this was the least significant if you well in terms of importance or magnitude of the issues criminality that could be involved this was always that and we knew for two and a half weeks said there was no there was going to be no legal criminal action taken as a result of this what what comes next is going to tell it all and what's coming next is this is the FISA abuse premeditated fraud on the FISA court now the justice department regulations embrace the same role requirements and you know let me play rob Rosenstein here for a minute as a result of you know his interpretation of your career law enforcement officer and your filling out of fights application you're swearing to the best of your ability you verified it now remember the dossiers the bulk of information in the five applications it's unverifiable remember that as you hear this the way we operate the department justice if we can accuse somebody of wrongdoing we have to have admissible evidence and credible witnesses need repair to prove our case in court and we have to fix our signature to the charging document that's something that not everybody appreciates a lot of talk about Faiza applications and many people that I I see talking about it seem not to recognize what defines applique five applications actually a warrant just like a search warrant in order to get a FISA search warrant you need an affidavit signed by a career federal law enforcement officer who swears that the information the affidavit is true and correct to the best of his knowledge and belief and that's the way we operate and if that's wrong sometimes it is if you find out anything incorrect in there that person is going to face consequences that person is going to face consequences right was so call me signs a series of them he signed a three pies applications the original application in October twenty sixteen and then told Donald Trump and that came out in this memo investigation are just the opposite was salacious the dossier the bulk of information to obtain the warrant remember McCabe said no dossier no FISA warrant wouldn't happen so the reason that I am more optimistic as we knew this would be limited in scope we knew this would be limited only to the call me mammals do I see examples of wrongdoing yes do I see a clear violation of the law I believe it's very clear eighteen U. S. C. six forty one I do believe that you can't knowingly steel or converted government record the way James call me did in convey it to another without the authority he did all of that and lack of candor tells me that well he.

"News when he hits the air this is the Sean Hannity show hi twenty five now till the on top of the hour okay the this the inspector general report remember maybe I'm too close to this bu is I've been telling you this little that this baby report we told you tune three weeks ago that this was going to be the first one and that this was not going to be the big one that this was going to be limited to the memos on may be I I had a ready absorb the blow that this was not going to be the one that led to indictments I still as I read read the whole thing today and it took a while I got up early this morning I began to concern myself over the summer I want to explain my thought process on this because we predicted didn't pinpoint accuracy what this limited inspector general report that only related to call me in the memos was going to be and it turned out to be right we'll get back to that a second first we do get a quick check of the weather down in Florida this hurricane Dorian now expected to intensify to a cat for posing a a pretty growing danger to the southeastern U. especially Florida at least it's current track Joe up the story is with us chief meteorologist of the Sean Hannity show get all of his great work at weather bell dot com and that looks like it's headed right towards the middle of of Florida if it's going to be a direct hit do you are you think it lands as a cap for well I think it's going to become a cap for but Sean I also think and we've been thinking it was going to try to come in for others out there at least get very close to west Palm Beach fort Lauderdale in there I don't think Miami is gonna be directly impacted what it what happened if you remember walking in amok Joaquin turn west southwest for a while before it went out job is not a person is not one person in this audience what it remembers I just hurricanes like you do okay well I I just want it set the stage is because of what may happen here is Hey it's slowing the it's going slow down as it comes toward the Bahamas NBA turn west southwest through the door the Bahamas then start its way up so that will delay the onslaught of the worst weather in Florida till Monday Tuesday Wednesday and the problem is that this is going to call whether it's on shore off shore it's just going to drift north north west the middle of next week and is it the potential is when do you expect the land fall and where do you expect it and how powerful I spend a lot of illicit I spec harking conditions on the Florida coast Monday night starting around fort Lauderdale west Palm Beach and then working its way up the coast Tuesday Wednesday and then next Thursday a week from today it may be going into the southeast part of United States the thing we have here folks when a storm when a storm is just off shore like Matthew was a few years ago it can't hit Florida from the south southeast it has to it has to be here under the bed near west Palm Beach if you look at the map is a the Coast changes directly direction so we're concerned that's going to happen and it hugs the coast will be a major news story next week first for the Bahamas all right with thank god this Dodge Porter Rico I don't think this is miss in the Bahamas well I will be a cat three or four by that time and then Florida the lady string day what's the strength of this hitting well you know what what is the heart can strengthen it makes landfall in Florida well it is it makes landfall of probably be a strong three or category four are the ones that approach your co slowly Sean sometimes a week it has become the other thing you expect this to be maybe Monday night or early Tuesday Monday Monday night or Tuesday is one I think I think it's gonna be a delayed a little bit the other thing it's not as wide as Irma is more fist of fury a smaller storm but it's going to really pack a punch all right thank you so much job was started whether held dot com will continue to follow it listen my advice is always the same listen to what the experts tell you have a couple days now to decide watch closely make sure you would put your safe your family's safety first right so we have been telling you that there are going to be a series of reports coming out and I'm not before we got this report today this is the heart which report this is limited to the to call me and to the memos that he wrote which were government property now this is a devastating report you know it with the inspector general is is saying that the former director failed to live up to his responsibilities and he did not safeguard even classified but sensitive information obtained during the course of his employment with the FBI and used it to create public pressure meeting political pressure for official action I and then he said that he said a horrible example a dangerous example the exact words for every current FBI employee all thirty five thousand of them and many thousands more former FBI employees who similarly have access or knowledge to these dom public information so here we have these memos written in the course of the scope of his employment and he spoke with the president in his capacity is the director of the FBI and Gregg Jarrett a good point about this and and sure enough the FBI found the Colby's characterization of the memos as being personal records finds no support in law wholly incompatible with the plain language of the statutes regulations policies defining federal record keeping and the terms of the employment is that by employment agreements then nevertheless call me kept copies of these documents at his home and on secured on authorize location he didn't return the records when he got fired which she should have done upon his termination as required and the I. G. made a criminal referral to prosecutors at the department of justice and call me is fortunate frankly that he's not charged with several violations of the federal statute eighteen USC six forty one and that would make it a crime to steal or knowingly convert a government record with the intent to convert it to his use or convey it to another without authority this of course giving it to his lawyers he didn't ask permission they didn't follow protocol and that could be yes a violation of law the federal statute I just cited and as the I. G. pointed out not a single member of call me staff agreed with his interpretation of the memos were personal and the FBI relying on them is official records and kept them at their headquarters in and of course he was an honest okay he lied your lack of candor means you lied and that's another problem call me has on numerous occasions and all this is and the memo that he gave to his friend who we we also hired as an attorney with instructions to his name is Daniel Richmond that'd be lead to a member in the media of The New York Times well that's a violation of FBI rules in as much as the content involves sensitive information about an ongoing investigation and it was incumbent on the former director to protect it former director call me failed to live up to his responsibility those of the exact words in the report and you know but and get it call me is contorted mind he's the victim you know in one memo call me recounted how he promised the president I don't do sneaky things I don't leak I don't do with meat we eat out we usually moves okay well he does and his scheme to leak this sensitive government information records to trigger the appointment of a special counsel that he did all of this is what the Attorney General the inspector general's saying is sold dangerous not safeguarding that sensitive information is dangerous creating public pressure for official action is dangerous because he's deciding that and the list I I literally have six straight pages of every instance where they found that he didn't find file will follow the law of regulations etcetera etcetera now let me just get you to stand back with me because we've been doing this now for two and a half years we told you on this program on Hannity that this memo was coming we told you that they would not be there would be criminal referrals there are there are a number of them and that they will be at the declination in terms of the Attorney General deciding not to move forward with all of this many of you in spite of us telling you that that was going to be there is are angry today I'm I share your anger but I withhold judgment and what what do you mean Hannity we have the major report on Fizer abuse coming that to me is going to be the determining ma'am all well what and that may not even be the worst one because we'll have another one on leaking which is a problem we have two sources now suggesting this guy Ben which was a friend of McCabe arm sorry a friend a call me expects McCabe to be indicted any day now you should expect charges against became to be forthcoming any day okay we'll see if that's true also the former Attorney General acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker told fox news that he thinks that McCabe's indictment is imminent and he said I'm not seeing the D. A. G. ever appeal ever be successful and he said I've seen the many times again and again with sophisticated defense lawyers but this is usually when someone's imminently going to be charged and they try to get to the deputy Attorney General and plead their case alright I have no doubt that's all true so there's going to be a lot happening here I'm but this is what I'm looking for I this is and my sources again we told you about two weeks ago this is happening this is the this is the limited this is the limited inspector general report it is isolated and very specific area to the call me memos that he's had and it goes into great detail when you're reading a seeds problem what I expect when we get the major report from the inspector general that would be Horowitz on Faiza abuse member we're gonna get four of them this is the first this was the least significant if you will in terms of importance or magnitude of the issues criminality that could be involved this was always that and we knew for two and a half weeks that there was no there was going to be no legal criminal action taken as a result of this what what comes next is going to tell it all and what's coming next is this is the FISA abuse premeditated fraud on the FISA court now the justice department regulations embrace the same role requirements and you know let me play rob Rosenstein here for a minute as a result of you know his interpretation of your career law enforcement officer and your filling out of five application you're swearing to the best of your ability you verified now remember the dossiers the bulk of information in the files applications it's unverifiable remember that as you hear this the way.

began to concern myself over the summer I want to explain my thought process on this because we predicted didn't pinpoint accuracy what this limited inspector general report that only related to call me in the memos was going to be and it turned out to be right we'll get back to that a second first we do get a quick check of the weather down in Florida this hurricane Dorian now expected to intensify to a cat for posing a a pretty growing danger to the southeastern U. especially Florida at least it's current track Joe up the story is with us chief meteorologist of the Sean Hannity show get all of his great work at weather bell dot com and that looks like it's headed right towards the middle of of Florida if it's going to be a direct hit they do you are you think it lands as a cap A. G. ever appeal ever be successful and he said I've seen the many times again and again with sophisticated defense lawyers but this is usually when someone's imminently going to be charged and they try to get to the deputy Attorney General and plead their case alright I have no doubt that's all true so there's going to be a lot happening here but this is what I'm looking for I this is N. my sources again we told you two weeks ago this is happening this is the this is the limited this is the limited inspector general report it is isolated and very specific area to the call me memos that he's had and it goes into great detail when you're reading it see its problem what I expect when we get the major report from the inspector general that would be Horowitz on Faiza abuse member we're gonna get four of them this is the first this was the least are significant if you well in terms of importance or magnitude of the issues criminality that could be involved this was always that and we know for two and a half weeks that there was no there was going to be no legal criminal action taken as a result of this what what comes next is going to tell it all and what's coming next is this is the FISA abuse premeditated fraud on a FISA court now the justice department regulations embrace the same role requirements and you know let me play rob Rosenstein here for a minute as a result of you know his interpretation of your career law enforcement officer and your filling out of fights application you're swearing to the best of your ability you verified now remember the dossiers the bulk of information in the five applications it's on verify a bowl remember that as you hear this the way we operate the department justice if we can accuse somebody of wrongdoing we have to have admissible evidence and credible witnesses need repair to prove our case in court and we have to fix our signature to the charging document that's something that not everybody appreciates not a lot of talk about five applications and many people that I I see talking about it seem not to recognize what defines applique FISA application is actually a warrant just like a search warrant in order to get a FISA search warrant you need an affidavit signed by a career federal law enforcement officer who swears that the information the affidavit is true and correct to the best of his knowledge and belief and that's the way we operate and if that's wrong sometimes it is if you find out anything incorrect in there that person is going to face consequences that person is going to face consequences right was so call me signs a series of them he signed a three five applications the original application in October twenty sixteen and then told Donald Trump and that came out in this memo investigation are just the opposite was salacious the dossier the bulk of information to obtain the warrant remember McCabe said no dossier no FISA warrant wouldn't happen so the reason that I am more optimistic as we knew this would be limited in scope we knew this would be limited only to the call me mammals the YC examples of wrongdoing yes do I see a clear violation of the law I believe it's very clear eighteen U. S. C. six forty one I do believe that you can't knowingly steel or converted government record the way James call me did and convey it to another without the authority he did all of that and lack of candor tells me that well he lied and bike mana Ford and like let's see but going after Roger stone on this to go on after they went after Papadopoulos cone general Flynn on this I I would like to know that we have equal application of our laws but when we get to this Fizer part of of Horowitz's work which is now being in the final stages of vetting to give to us this is going to be what tells us whether or not we have equal justice under the law this is where I will be making my I'm out there will be no more withholding judgment for me because it is a felony to conceal relevant information it's a felony and deceive a FISA court it is here there are so many statutes that can be applicable here you know it's a crime if you want to perpetrate a fraud on the court that would be you're doing so for the the deprivation of rights that's actually a felony section eighteen USC two forty two that would include as Rudy Giuliani said perjury eighteen U..

"Latest breaking news when he hits the air this is the Sean Hannity show hi twenty five now told the top of the hour okay the this the inspector general report remember maybe I'm too close to this but is I've been telling you this little that this baby report we told you tune three weeks ago that this was going to be the first one and that this was not going to be the big one that this was going to be limited to the mammals may be I I had a ready absorb the blow that this was not going to be the one that led to indictments I still as I read read the whole thing today and it took a while I got it lands as a cab for well I think it's going to become a cap for but Sean I also think and we've been thinking it was going to try to come in further set out there at least get very close to west Palm do you expect the land fall and where do you expect it and how powerful I spent over a let me say I spec horror king conditions on the Florida coast Monday night starting around fort Lauderdale west Palm Beach and then working its way up the coast Tuesday Wednesday and then next Thursday a week from today it may be going into the southeast part the United States the thing we have here folks is when a storm when a storm is just off shore like Matthew was a few years ago it can't hit Florida from the south southeast it has to it has to be here under the bed near west Palm Beach if you look at the map is a the Coast changes directly direction so we're concerned that's going to happen and it hugs the coast will be a major news story next week first for the Bahamas all right with thank god this Dodge Porter Rico I don't think this is miss in the Bahamas well I will be a cat three or four by that time and then Florida the lady string day what's the strength of this hitting we know what what is the heart can strengthen it makes landfall in Florida well what if it makes landfall of three probably be a strong three or category four are the ones that approach your co slowly Sean sometimes a week it has become the other thing you expect this to be maybe Monday night or early Tuesday Monday Monday night or Tuesday is one I think I think it's gonna be a delayed a little bit the other thing it's not as wide as Irma is more fist of fury a smaller storm but it's going to really pack a punch all right thank you so much job was started whether bell dot com will continue to follow it listen my advice is always the same listen to what the experts tell you if a couple days now to the side watch closely make sure you will put your safe your family's safety first right so we have been telling you that there are going to be a series of reports coming out and I'll before we got this report today this is the heart which report this is limited to the to call me and to the memos that he wrote which were government property now this is a devastating report you know it with the inspector general is is saying that the former director failed to live up to his responsibilities and law wholly incompatible with the plain language of the statutes regulations policies the pining federal record keeping and the terms of it the employment is empty I employment agreements then "Of the hour okay the this the inspector general report remember maybe I'm too close to this but is I've been telling you this little this baby report we told you tune three weeks ago that this was going to be the first one and that this was not going to be the big one that this was going to be limited to the mammals may be I I had a ready absorb the blow that this was not going to be the one that led to indictments I still as I read read the whole thing today and it took a while I got it early this morning I began to concern myself over the summer I want to explain my thought process on this because we predicted didn't pinpoint accuracy what this limited inspector general report that only related to call me in the memos was going to be and it turned out to be right we'll get back to that a second first we do get a quick check of the weather down in Florida this hurricane Dorian now expected to intensify to a cat for posing as a pretty growing danger to the southeast and you especially Florida at least it's current track Joe up the story is with us chief meteorologist of the Sean Hannity show get all of his great work at weather bell dot com and that looks like it's headed right towards the middle of all Florida if it's going to be a direct hit do you are you think it lands as a cab for well I think it's going to become a cap for but Sean I also think and we've been thinking it was going to try to come in further south the at least get very close to west Palm Beach fort Lauderdale in there I don't think Miami is gonna be directly impacted what it what happened if you remember walking in Joaquin turn west southwest for awhile before it went out well Joe is not a person is not one person in the audience well I just hurricanes like you do okay well I I just want it set the stage is because of what may happen here is Hey it's slowing it's going to slow down as it comes to the Bahamas turn west southwest through the door the Bahamas then start its way up so that will delay the onslaught of the worst weather in Florida till Monday Tuesday Wednesday and the problem is that this is going to call whether it's on shore oil shortage is going to drift north north west the middle of next week and it's it's that potential is when do you expect landfall and where do you expect it and how powerful I spend I love it when he said I spec harking conditions on the Florida coast Monday night starting around fort Lauderdale west Palm Beach and they're working its way up the coast Tuesday Wednesday and then next Thursday a week from today it may be going into the southeast part of United States the thing we have here folks when a storm when the storm is just off shore like Matthew was a few years ago Florida from the south southeast it has to it has been hit under the bed near west Palm Beach if you look at the map is the coast changes direct which direction so we're concerned that's going to happen then it hugs the coast will be a major news story next week first for the Bahamas all right with thank god this Dodge Porter Rico I don't think this is miss in the Bahamas well I will be a cat three or four by that time and then Florida the lady string day what's the strength of this hitting you know what what is the hurricane strength when it makes landfall in Florida well what if it makes landfall of probably be a strong three or category four are the ones that approach your co slowly Sean sometimes a week it has become the other thing you expect this to be on a B. Monday night or early Tuesday Monday Monday night or Tuesday is one I think it's gonna be a delayed a little bit the other thing it's not as wide as Irma is more fist of fury of smaller storms but it's going to really pack a punch all right thank you so much trouble started whether bell dot com will continue to follow it listen my advice is always the same listen to what the experts tell you have a couple days now to decide watch closely make sure you would put your safe your family's safety first right so we have been telling you that there are going to be a series of reports coming out and before we got this report today this is the heart which report this is limited to the to call me and to the memos that he wrote which were government property yeah this is a devastating report you know it with the inspector general is is saying that the former director failed to live up to his responsibilities and he did not safe guard even classified but sensitive information obtained during the course of his employment with the FBI and used it to create public pressure meaning political pressure for official action and then he said that he said a horrible example a dangerous example the exact words for every current FBI employee all thirty five thousand of them and many thousands more former FBI employees who similarly have access or knowledge to these dom public information so here we have these memos written in the course of the scope of his employment and he spoke with the president in his capacity as the director of the FBI and Gregg Jarrett good point about this and and sure enough the FBI found the Colby's characterization of the memos as being personal records finds no support in law wholly incompatible with the plain language of the statutes regulations policies the pining federal record keeping and the terms of it the employment is happy I employment agreements then nevertheless call me kept copies of these documents at his home and then secured an authorized location he didn't return the records when he got fired which she should have done upon his termination as required and the I. "Oh in other words ladies and gentlemen that steel wasn't acting as an intelligence official or former he was acting as a pure political political operator folks. Do you understand what that means that now in the United States the F._B._i.. Swearing warrants to spy on American citizens because their political opponents want them to that's what that means. I can't hammer those takeaways of this was an important appears. It got lost with the trump rally and Elrushbo being on Sean show because he's always a big draw and I understand that but that was a devastating appearance by Salomon that now call me not only had one piece of information Russian the Cadillac file but another the bruce or throw choose that the information was junk and I've also told you that right around the time they're signing the first Pfizer Komi and others at approving proving it Colmey or the F._B._i.. At already interviewed one of Steele's Russian sources and found them to be nonsense. Komi is in a lot of trouble a lot. I get that I got all these emails Dan. There's a bigger plants. I am not suggesting there isn't that that bill bar isn't aware of this. I'm simply suggesting to you this. Here's the downside I by the way I did miss the Masud thing either. I got that okay. Here's here's the downside folks the logic for why I'm hearing from sources and others behind not prosecuting Komi for his leaks to Daniel Richmond of the memos that were later classified member who len lead them to the media is that they didn't think the case was airtight airtight and court folks listen. I'm not this is not like pat myself on the back. I did this for twelve years. I worked federal cases not just one one a lot of very big ones. I am not speaking with forked tongue when you have a big fish like Komi the former director through the F._B._I.. Who is clearly right now a key player in the most corrupt political spying scandal in modern American history without a doubt? You're not always GONNA get Joe An airtight case now. Let me show you what the failings in the case were why the government failed to go forward and I'll explain to you why that's a poor strategy in a minute. Let's go to our friend undercover Huber at John W Huber on twitter one of the best accounts after he has to tweets tweets now keep in mind. I'm taking tweets from his a thread. He doesn't agree about failing to prosecute Komi. He's just giving you the reasons..

"Certainly, if it was something Robert Muller would have said, so check Ross's our guest report a daily caller news foundation. And by the way, one less thing news foundation, actually made a little bit of news, today themselves, you had a pretty good victory. You're trying to obtain information from the FBI this specifically about this mysterious Columbia law school, professor, the James Comey basically used to leak information to the New York Times, and you've been struggling to try to get information from the F B I about this, and you've had a pretty good victory today. Yeah. We did we do through cause of action. They represent us a mess for some the memo Daniel Richmond. Is this friend of James Comey who was the guy who leaked details to the New York Times shortly after his fired Comey? The leak. So Komi compiled eight or nine memo's of interactions that Trump and they've been, you know, the FBI and as would help these from public. We're trying to find out which of the memo contained classified information, how the FBI handled them things of that nature. So FBI resisted, but we prevailed in eventually finally, get a look at some of these documents and based on your reporting only have a minute left here check. But mean it seems to me that when the FBI director has a one on one briefing with the president of the United states' rights memo to memorialize that one on one briefing. That is a privileged information that that in some way has to fall under some level of classification that the FBI director certainly the former FBI director in this case can't just unilaterally decide. Yeah, this is okay. We can leak this aren't there already built in protocols? If you have a one on one briefing with the president that the only the president can say, sure make that. Public. Yeah, I yeah. I think it's probably a case that still interested in it seems that I don't know that, that, that is really gone through really rigorous process know figuring out how because no one would be so corrupt and stupid to have done this, until James Kofi. Did use those words. You're reporter. I'm an opinion. Call me hit try to defend himself by saying that he had the authority to declassify anything FBI directors and presidents and heads agencies have some thorny on this type of thing. I think one of his arguments that he can declassify whatever you wanted there for. Which seems kind of, you know, a little disingenuous as far as what the letter of the law would say, you know, we know that he's probably met with the inspector general. We don't know if he's a focus or target of that investigation. His activity that definitely be under scrutiny at this point, I would think so. And certainly the daily caller news foundation winning this cause of action with cause of action to get access to more information about this person that James Comey leaked the information to that's going to help put these pieces together. So I appreciate all the hard work. You're doing Chuck Ross over the caller news foundation. Thanks, chuck. Yep. Thanks. Yeah. If you're looking to be up to date today on all the latest with regard to that testimony in the house, the testimony from Dan junior in the Senate, and the hiring of, of Sydney Powell for Lieutenant General Mike Flynn, and all the other things going on with spy gate. And these investigations into the Trump Russia hoax, you're now up to date. That's why you tune here to this program. Let's check in with Ed Rodriguez. Traffic.

"From his mouth to your ears is Brian Kilmeade. It was a two prong investigation. Criminal aspect. Did the president break the law and trying to obstruct the investigation interfere with it and this other Russia question, and it's important as as you said because our collective understanding was much narrower. It was just on obstruction get the president break the law there. And now, we know that it was far broader it had national security concerns. The FBI was afraid that the firing of Komi was a way to help the Russians. Stop the FBI from figuring out what they did in the election. Is that true is the FBI sincerely believing that the president was in asset of Putin in Russia, and that's what they were pursuing. That's according to the New York Times, they set a budget things they cite the fact that president of rarely talk poorly about Vladimir Putin or critically. They've said the fact that in the platform on the RNC national. Republican national convention. They change to soften the language against Russia and their battle with Ukraine. They also point to the fact that the person sat behind a microphone and said, hey, Russia thirty thousand emails and Hillary Clinton that Hillary Clinton's mysteriously lost. Why don't you go find them? John Dowd quickly when the president got in legal trouble and win. This investigation kicked in was immediately hired. He was a special counsel and handling all this. During this timeframe John dad, we were thinking about you right away. When all this stuff came up about revelations from 2017, go ahead fire away. Did you know any of this? No. But we suspected and Brian the thing that has surfaced togetherness is might boy and Chazz Woodson. I wrote a letter to to special counsel Muller at the end of June. Two thousand seventeen and asked him to investigate Komi. Nothing that Komi was doing made any sense his behavior was Dr and then all the line before the Senate intelligence committee. Other oddball statements that he was raking announcing investigation. His initial meeting in January. It was it was outrageous was our behavior. And and we we sense it someone needed to take a hard look at this guy. So we brought it excessive letter to Muller, and he just blew us off at the end of August. I asked him if he was looking at it. And you said, no. So I wrote the Rosenstein and ask them what the hell's going on here? I mean, this guy is supposedly the main accuser not looking at what's going on. Well, little good. I know. It appears that they were all together. Rollerskating call me. Okay. The whole crowd. And if they were out to get this president, no matter what I don't think. They sincerely believed anything about Russia. Well, he John Dowd. He flat out lied to you when you is to you. But the president President Obama target this investigation rights Priebus was told now and the president was told now that's a lie. That's right. It's unbelievable here. He here's more on this Michael Schmidt games with this counterintelligence business. It's. Tell you what what drives me crazy Brian is the department of Justice. I I did an internal investigation of the FBI back window Kelly was there. And and working for two attorneys general I've never I mean the worst nightmare. Someone was that kind of power within decide to go after the president. I mean, it's a coup attempted coup by Komi this crowd, any evidence is all is all about I take the New York Times article as a digression. Their bad behavior. Yeah. I mean, this I read a strikeforce Iran corruption investigations. I never had the power to say. Well, you know, I don't like the way Kilby carts is here. So we're going after him for obstruction. You know, we asked them to do. So Aden, we're going after them from structure, just arbitrary. No checking with the department of Justice not calling any discipline protocol department. I mean, this thing is astounding. And I just can't wait John might that be what you just said that might be subtly incorrect in that you would think he'd have to report to the attorney general, but he recused himself. So he goes to the deputy attorney general report this investigation. This is the same rod Rosenstein who evidently, according to the FBI was willing to wear a wire to entrap the president and invoke twenty-fifth amendment. So we did they did technically check with the department of Justice. It looks like the Rosenstein was part of the whole. It's just amazing breaker. I is a house. You know roses were wire to get the person. So it does it looks like they're all together. So let me ask yourself departmental protocol. Ryan is whether you're investigating. Up through the field offices to say vice strikeforce, especially as a charge by John Lear following following pieces of conduct. We got these witnesses those were the Swiss take dam, flooded, Pennsylvania. They walked in with Stephen is former chief of staff that guy talked to me for three days with you to set a recent outta weed. Municipals powerful member of congress not on like, you know, what after the president. But you know, none of that was done and then Rosenstein joins in. You know, what rose very odd thing. Brian you wrote he wrote a memorandum condemning Kobe's conduct in the twin? The attorney general and then. The president's wondering about, you know, call me because of his testimony before the Senate Judiciary, buddy. They arrive at the same decision that the guys gotta go at the same time. So the Rosenstein gives his memo. To the president the president says. Yeah. Absolutely. And then he took precedence wetter reduces the one page the president fires me about a month later rose. He'd rewrites says, well, I really didn't meet it. I mean, it's this thing. I mean, we're not we're we're still not to the bottom of this thing. I don't believe all these guys are basically gone. Is a homey. Komi struck Baker page mccade. They're all gone all the people that were doing this. So Benjamin Witty's is a legal analyst with NBC along with the New York Times writer who was on meet the press to talk Michael Schmidt. They put together this whole this whole story. He went on cut thirty one which which was the leaker her Komi to the times. Back when you're a which if you go back, you'll see is Mark. He was the guy. That's where cooling would send sensitive classified information. Vassar professor. Yeah. But I want you to you and Benjamin we listen to this cut thirty one the significance of Mike's. And Adam Goldman story is that it forces you to re imagine the how the FBI understood what it was doing which has Mike just said, and as the quote that you read from from Jim Baker reflects was we had this investigation for national security reasons all Russian activity, then somebody on the US side. I the president of the United States took some action that kind of looks like they're trying to shut down the investigation that raises national security concerns about the weather. We will be able to find out what the Russians were doing whether we will be able to stop what the Russians were doing. So the bureau understood appears to have understood what? Happened in terms of whether the president was working with the Russians that's a very different thing. And it collapses the obstruction inquiry into that larger collusion. And then the fifth paragraph down. They right. So far, nothing's been found to about corruption collusion and that professor by the way is Daniel Richmond. Daniel Richmond got leaked leaked memos from Komi who then put it in the New York Times. But go ahead. John dowd. The other thing is is if you check the circuit. The Senate Judiciary committee testable of of of. Choline. He's asked if anybody ever tried to fool the investigation, you sit absolutely not. Not on my watch. It's never happened which conflicts with his later, stay. But then after he's fired June eleventh, I think he's trying to choose not on the call McCabe up there. The Senate either tells us the judiciary committee kid ask him any investigations been instructed absolutely not. There's been no obstruction of an investigation at all. You know, you said you sell these guys got a secret cool. The other thing to remember about a counterintelligence investigation. It can only be done for one person. And that's the president. He's the ultimate add of intelligence in this country. We do a counter intelligence is four or more. For him. That's what they got. All. So I think they use the phrase counterintelligence as a cover. Find a trying to get something on the president trying to you know, try to try to get them. And it was you know, it was a coup. There's no question about it. And then you take all the lives of the flies accord. Oh christ. Well, I mean, I feel like you're losing Brian. Astounding John what bothers me is that I want this to be new to me. But not to you the fact that you're in charge of the president's legal defense. And all this stuff is surprising. You is insane. For the for the American people have to be alarmed by that. Well, that's that's exactly right because as you call I had I had, you know, MandA van conversations with Bob Muller. And they told us what they had under investigation us. Lists of people documents. They wanted. And it didn't include any of this business. So so, yeah, it's a total shot. I want you to hear what Chris Christie said yesterday. I think this in a way this new way of thinking about a cut thirty. On the New York Times story. I would say this the president. I didn't brace the story because it backs up his narrative his narrative is that FBI agents were acting in a rogue matter overstepping, the normal course of business because they had something against him. And that story is is an extraordinary story that they would open a counterintelligence investigation against a present the United States, and I think it backs up some of the narrative the president has talked about. So if I were him, I wouldn't be tweeting about, you know, the failing New York Times in the how bad the stories, and I would salted three accused of that. I go the opposite tack and say, wait a second. This is what I've been saying all along the FBI under Jim Komi was out of control. I fully I fully agree with Chris. That's what I said it. Mike quote to box has. In the FOX story. I would do it. In fact, I just talked to the president called emergency call to thank me for my quote. And I said Mr President, you got to embrace this story this this reveals what your instincts have said all along. And that is that they were just out to get you crew, the facts, I said, this is this story helps you this is the mission of incredible corruption at the top of the euro. How often do you speak to the president? Oh. Eweek assault. How would you say he's handling this portion of his presidency? The investigation portion. Fantastic come in. I can remember when when Muller. Broke his word when we talked to March fifth. You did have. Kicking the ball down the road instead of deciding you promised us because we delivered everything without without for anything. He said, well, I have to study you book the word. So you decided if we got it to you, the president predicted the actually White House your. Absolutely, great minor raw. More. Bob Muller is not about the facts not about doing. What's right? Bob Mueller is still business really doing this. He didn't have a conflict. Appearance of the president. You had a business dispute with him. And yet, I think he was really the guy in charge. I think Rosalyn steam so to suck talk to him. I think molars the guy I don't think it's rosacea supervising more. But we gotta get Bill in there to rescue the department of Justice like gotta tell you. Horrendous. John you thinking about going back and hope that the president out again or no. No, no. I know. Running away. And he took it day. You're right. Right. Oh along. President here to help you. I love you want to help you whatever you want me to do just keep doing what you're doing. But I talked to the to at least once a week. I talked to. Second roller Giuliani. Whatever the hell. Changed? There's nothing changes. Nothing new. Right. It just keeps going on on. There is some people that I respect to think it's wrapping up. Are you are you one of the people think it's wrapping up? Yeah. She's got to get a eight. And absurd. News. Essentially, torturing Manafort. There's nothing there. It's ridiculous. Keep talking and use use our airwaves to do it. Because we need someone on the inside to give us something that it's not that doesn't have any political stake in a game to give us the legal analyst about what's taking place because I'm watching the rapid coverage. "Now, the Brian Kilmeade show. A news ninety six point five WDBO was a two prong investigation. Criminal aspect did the president break the law in trying to obstruct the investigation interfere with it and this other Russia question, and it's important as you as you said because our collective understanding was much narrower. It was just on instruction. Get the president break the law there. And now, we know that it was far broader had national security concerns. The FBI was afraid that the firing of Komi was a way to help the Russians. Stop the FBI from figuring out what they did in the election. Is that true is the FBI sincerely believing that the president was in asset Putin in Russia, and that's what they were pursuing. That's according to the New York Times, they signed a bunch of things they cite the fact that president of rarely talk poorly about Putin or critically. They've said the fact that in the platform on the RNC national Republican national convention they change to soften the language against Russia. And they're bad. With ukraine. They also point to the fact that the person sat behind a microphone and said, hey, Russia thirty thousand emails Hillary Clinton that Hillary Clinton's mysteriously lost. Why don't you go? Find them. John doubt quickly when the president got in legal trouble. And when this investigation kicked in was immediately hired he was a special counsel and handling all this. During this timeframe John dad, we were thinking about you right away. When all this stuff came up about revelations from 2017, go ahead fire away. Did you know any of this? No. But we suspected and Brian the thing that has surfaced again, this is Mike boy and Kasowitz I wrote a letter to to special counsel Muller at the end of June two thousand seventeen and asked him to investigate Komi Donner, nothing that Kobe was doing made any sense his behavior was Dr and then all the line before the Senate intelligence committee, his other oddball statements. He was announcing. Investigation. His initial meeting in January. It was it was outrageous bizarre behavior. And and we we send someone needed to take a hard look at this guy. So we brought an extensive letter to molar, and he just blew us off at the end of August. I asked him if he was looking at it. And you said, no. So I wrote the Rosenstein and ask them what the hell's going on here? I mean, this guy is supposedly the main accuser looking out of what's going on. Well, little good. I know it appears that they were all in it together rose, call me molar caved the whole crowd. And if they were out to get this president, no matter what I don't think. They sincerely believed anything about Russia. John doubt. He fled to you. When you is to you. But the president president said, I am I at target this investigation rights Priebus was told. No, and the president was told that's a lie. So it's unbelievable. Here's more on this Michael Schmidt games with this counterintelligence business. It's I tell you. What what was drive me crazy? Brian is I served in the department of Justice. I did an internal investigation of the FBI back window. Kelly was there and working for two attorneys. General I've never I mean, this isn't a worst nightmare. Someone will kind of power within decide to go after the president. I mean, it's a coup attempted coup. This crowd any evidence is all is all about air. I take the New York Times article as good vision of their bad behavior. Yeah. I mean, I read a strikeforce Iran corruption investigations, but I never had the power to say well. Kilby carts here. So we're going after him for obstruction. You know, we asked them to do such. So he didn't do it. We're going after them from structure, just arbitrary. No checking with the department of Justice not qualifying any discipline of protocol department. I mean, this thing is astounding. And I just can't wait John doubt. Might that. Be what you just said that might be subtly incorrect in that you would think he'd have to report to the attorney general, but he recused himself. So he goes to the deputy attorney general report that investigation this is the same rod Rosenstein who evidently, according to the FBI was willing to wear a wire to entrap the president and invoked the twenty fifth amendment. So we did they did technically check with the department of Justice. It looks like the Rosenstein responded. It's just amazing. The first is a house, you know, Rosenstein opera the wired. So it does it looks like they're all together. So let me ask yourself. Metal protocol. Ryan is what are your investigation? Come up through the field offices to save advice. Strikeforce especially to charge go by and say John Lear following. Following pieces of conduct. We got those were let's say I did. Plot of Pennsylvania. They walked in with Steve his former chief of staff that guy talk to me for three years is to settle recent. I mean, it's the most powerful member of congress not on like, you know, what? After the president, you know. Of that was done, and then Rosenstein joins in the rose, very odd thing, Brian you wrote erode memorandum condemning always conduct in the twin matter. The attorney general and then. The president's wondering about, you know, call me because of his testimony before the Senate Judiciary committee. They arrive at the same decision. Guys. Gotta go at the same time. So Rosenstein gives his. The president says. Yeah, absolutely at any took precedence wetter reduces the one page the president fires call me about a month later roses teed rewrites says, well, I really did meet it. I mean, it's this thing. I mean, we're not we're still not to the bottom of this. I believe with all these guys are basically gone, homey. Komi struck Baker page McKay. They're all gone all the people that were doing this. So Benjamin Witty's is a legal analyst with NBC along with the New York Times writer who was on meet the press. Michael schmidt. They put together this whole this whole story. He went on cut thirty one which which was the leaker Komi to the times. Back when you're a which if you go back, you'll see your smart. He was the guy. That's where Kumi would send sensitive classified information. Professor professor Benjamin weedy, so listen to this cut thirty one this significance of Mike and Adam Goldman story. Is that it forces you to re imagine the how the FBI understood what it was doing which has Mike just said, and as the quote that you read from from Jim Baker reflects was we had this investigation for national security reasons all Russian activity, then somebody on the US side. I the president of the United States took some action that kind of looks like they're trying to shut down the investigation that raises national security concerns about the weather. We will be able to find out what the Russians were doing whether we will be able to stop what the Russians were doing. So the bureau understood appears to have understood what happened. And in terms of whether the president was working with the Russians that's a very different thing. And it collapses the obstruction inquiry into that larger collusion. And then the fifth paragraph down. They right. So far, nothing's been found to about corruption and collusion and that professor by the way is Daniel Richmond. Daniel Richmond got leaked leaked memos from Komi who then put it in the New York Times. Go ahead. John dowd. The other thing is is if you check the chicken. The Senate Judiciary committee testimony of of. Kony? He's asked if anybody ever tried to pull the investigation, you sit absolutely dot not on my watch. It's never happened which conflicts with his later stay but did after he's fired June eleventh not on June eleventh, call McCabe up there. The Senate either tells us the judiciary committee. Any investigations been instructed absolutely not there's been no obstruction of any investigation at all. You said yourself. These guys got a secret cool. The other thing to remember about a counterintelligence investigation. It can only be done for one person. And that's the president. He's the ultimate add of intelligence in this country. We do a counterintelligence. It's four record for him. That's why they got all all ball. So I think they use the phrase counterintelligence as a cover. Find a trying to get something on the president trying to you know, try to try to get them. And it was you know, it was a coup. There's no question about it. And then you take all the lives of the flies accord. Oh christ. I mean, I feel like you're losing Brian. Astounding John what bothers me is that I want this to be new to me. But not to you the fact that you were in charge of the president's legal defense. And all this stuff is surprising. You is insane. For the for the American people have to be alarmed by that. Well, that's that's exactly right because as you call I had I had, you know, MandA van conversations with Bob Muller. And they told us what they had under investigation lists of people documents state wanted and it didn't include any of this business. So so, yeah, it's a total shot. Hey, I want you to hear what Chris Christie said yesterday. I think this in a way this is a new way of thinking about a cut thirty. On the New York Times story, I would say this. If I were the president I didn't brace the story because it backs up his narrative his narrative is that FBI agents were acting in a rogue manner overstepping the normal course of business because they had something against him. And that story is is an extraordinary story that they would open a counterintelligence investigation against a president of the United States. And I think it backs up some of the narrative the president has talked about. So if I were him, I wouldn't be tweeting about, you know, the failing New York Times in the how bad the stories and insulted. He is to be accused of that. I'd go the opposite tack and say, wait a second. See this is what I've been saying all along the FBI under Jim Komi was out of control. I fully I fully agree with Chris. That's what I said it Mike quote to FOX has in the FOX story. I would do it in my talk. I just talked to president called to thank me for my quote. And I said Mr President, you got to embrace this story this this reveals what your instincts have said all along. And that is that they were just out to get you crew, the facts, I said, this is this story helps you listen to the mission of incredible corruption as a top of euro, how often do you speak to the president? Oh. Week or so. How would you say he's handling this portion of his presidency? The investigation portion. Fantastic. I mean, I can remember when when Muller. Broke his word when we talked to March fifth you did heaven. Kicking the ball down the road instead of deciding you promised us because we delivered everything without without for anything. He said, well, I have to study this book the word. So you decided if we got it to you the president predicted. I told the White House President your instincts. Ashley, great mine. Bob Muller is not about the facts about doing. We'll try. Bob has no business really doing this. He didn't have a conflict in appearance of the president. I had a business dispute with him. And yet, I think he was really the guy in charge. I think Rosalyn steam sucked up to him. I think the guy I don't think it's rosacea supervising Muller. But we gotta get Bill Barham there to to list us the department of Justice. Horrendous. John you think about going back and helping the president out again or no. No, no. I know though. I mean he today. You're right. Right. All along. President help you. I love you want to help you whatever you want me to do just keep doing what you're doing. But I talked to the to at least once a week. I talked to. Sexual or Giuliani. Whatever the hell. Honorably? Changed? No, there's nothing changes. Nothing new. Right. It just keeps going on. And on. There is some people that I respect who think it's wrapping up. Are you are you one of the people who think it's wrapping up? Yeah. She's got get. And there's nothing there. Absurd. Us. Hers, essentially torture. This. This is not there. John. It's it's it's ridiculous. Keep talking and use use our air waves to do it. Because we need someone on the inside to give us something that it's not that doesn't have any political stake in a game to give us the legal analyst about what's taking place because I'm watching the the rapid coverage. The attic control coverage over the weekend. You think the president was caught with Vladimir Putin got the co mingling foreign policy strategy when nothing like that has ever taken place. In fact, he's speaking about it right now. All right, John. Thanks so much. Great bernard. Great one eight six six four zero eight seven six six nine the president speaking. "To Benjamin would is instead of just giving them straight to the New York Times? Even Benjamin with us. Sorry. Gave a memo to one person Daniel Richmond. Yeah. That's right. Why did you not do it straight to the New York? Because I thought if I do it directly as I think I said when I testified about this. It'll be like feeding seagulls at the beach because I have this huge crowd of journalists at the end of my driveway. And how will I how will I say, no, comment and know, how live wait any reaction with awesome people like you? And so so you're concerned about our feelings your feelings. No, no, just about my ability to stay away from me. All right. You struggled with sensitivities around elections. It's one hundred ninety days until the midterm elections. Where Robert Muller's findings could be a big deal. You think you'll take that into account in his pace and released an announcement. I don't know. He likely will because of the norms of the department of Justice, despite what you've read or heard there aren't any rules around how we act in the run-up to an election. There's a memo from two thousand twelve about election related crimes that keep seeing journalists hyperlinked to like that's the rules. That's not the rules. There's a norm. You avoid any action in the run-up to an election that might have an impact if you can. And so I'm sure he'll operate with that in mind now, whether what conduct that will drive is harder to say, and how would you adjust to that? Like would there be a quiet period or soon, they'll get things done? Tune or out of those norms play out when you've got one hundred ninety day deadline. I can't answer in this case because you need to be able to see have a vision for where the investigation is going, and whether you can responsibly concluded. You know, well in advance election, or whether it will reasonably even vice own course, carry you beyond the election. And so you don't make the decision based on the election. But you look at the investigation the election, you say, okay, all else being equal can I responsibly avoid a public action that might have an impact. So it's difficult to answer other than that abstract way. What advice would you give him about coming out and saying something?.
