"A lot of the observer caught my ear in that raid Michael, but none caught my ear more than the drink underdogs because if Formula One always loves an underdog, even those who went to such salubrious heights as Daniel Ricciardo and going back down the pecking order, forming the one just gets around those kind of people. And box of neutrals definitely gets around. Underdog drinks, surely. The reduced to clear the all stock must go. All of the remainder be items. They have top shelf sort of drinks, but they also have the drinks that don't pass the mustard test. Let's be honest, we live in a capitalist society. So there's going to be stuff that just doesn't quite make it. Why don't you support? I want reduced to clear awareness. I tell you what, because the people that are sort of clinging to the last dregs of hope, producing blind beverages and other such items. If you spend 50 bucks or more on the reduced to clear bean, you have $5 of your order. Not only are you getting $5 off your order, but you're also getting. You're helping out. A business that is being relegated to the reduced cleaving. But I'll give you something that's not in the reduced clip in Michael. Slab of Carlton drive because imagine that going under. I just stopped making that stuff. And I'll tell you what, you know what, I dubbed this as the cider of the 2010s, well, of the 2020s rather. Pod Celtics. So you can get a full pack of natural lime white claw. Add seltzers. And they're not in the reduced to clue in. I believe me. They're often, they're just clear. They're not reduced to clear. They just run out of stock because they will gravitate towards them. So whether it's the stuff that you literally, that is just a property, or that is sort of a wholesale property. Reward yourself with liquid. I don't know what the point in my rankings, but there we go. Just spend money with a landfill. For four days and sees, visit liquor land dot com. "He went from 20th last to 5th, and then after that, he still got another penalty. He got 5 more. I got a 5 more place grid penalty. So during the race, Louis started intent and still won. It was incredible driving. Yes, he has an amazing car. Everyone's gonna say, well, it's the car not Lewis and I don't know. I don't like I get it a little bit like I feel bad Fernando Alonso is talking about how it's hard to compete against a guy because his car is so much better than me. And I get that. I feel bad for Fernando Alonso's driving and Alpine. I would love to see what Fernando Alonso could do. And in Mercedes. But what happened last weekend for Lewis Hamilton in Brazil required even more than a great car. It was incredible driving. I mean, Louis was like a shark, just hunting down over take after overtaken it. We need like a mash up of the jaws music in the Formula One theme like done it. Done it, done it, done it. Take it out. I really want that somehow because I just every time I see Louis hunting down, he's just on the prowl man. It's so cool to watch him do stuff like this where he has overtake after overtake after overtake. And one thing that really did help Lewis Hamilton early on was a safety car that brought the pack together. He got a good start, got up up in the field a little bit. And then Yuki sonoda crashed into land stroll. Yuki cenote was way too aggressive, taking the inside on a turn that really wasn't his. By the way, there were two DNFs in this race land stroll did not finish neither did Daniel Ricciardo. But when the safety car happened because of Yuki sonoda, max was way out in front, had a big gap and was way in the lead. And the safety car slowed him down and now would Lewis have still passed max mini.

"Now get that first month starting at just ten dollars. Now here he is bear grylls anathema. Something completely different k we. Now welcome on a very special guest. He is someone that everyone knows. He is a true. I don't even i mean your man's man you're the greatest survivalist i've ever seen. You also have a new show out on. Netflix called u. verse. Wild out cold. it is bear. Grylls this new netflix. Show by the way. Let's start here. I watched the preview. It's a choose your own adventure where we get to follow. Bear in the wild trying to survive after a plane crash This might be the coolest thing i've ever seen. I just. I just popped on the trailer before i sat down and the fact that we get to choose like. Do you wanna eat this bug. Do you want to go over this mountain. Do you want to go through this tunnel. Who came up with this idea. Well it's been really fun today. We've kind of thought to this full matt for a while but the truth is technology has really been before and netflix. Were really encouraging from early. Days of you buses wild when we started this as episodes last year and I remember making this and they were kind of saying you know. We are literally build this plane as we're in the reffing in it out on the road but it's always for me felt like the next evolution of survival adventure rather than just kinda watching Somebody'll people do this stuff. You're kind of involved in the decision making and it's kinda like you know. We had mambros which was going to be on my own that we've had running wild ride. We got some of these hollywood Guys these often survival rookies into the wild but the next evolution was always that kind of sense of. Let's tell you the viewer with me and and you are. You are with me on this journey urine charge and you get to decide as you say whether we got left or right whether we swim the river weather. We make the roth decisions priorities. Life or death on the line Crazy fund to make we sell same team as we had a blast. And you know when we did. The first season of these is episodes. Just flew the number two. You rated netflix show at the time and they said well. Let's do a bigger better. Do a movie. We did the first movie which is cooled animals on the loose We learned a lot through that one. That did well. But i think out is ready to one. We will want to make. I lose my memory on the giannis. Say you guys are lose a lot of my skills. Gone you up to help me. Get pretty wild. Yeah i mean my first thing would always just be fine the water. 'cause you always taught me like find the river find a stream if there's water nearby as far as i know as of survival rookie just walked to the water and then the rest takes care of itself right. Well i think if that's all you stand a decent john's you know there's a little bit more than that but essentially you're right it's about being you'll priorities. Survival clear and in terms of food and water and got three weeks without food three days without wolves at the united states. You gotta prioritize at high and also eating foods dehydrating foster so yeah priority actually number one is protection unite. So whether you're in a car crash whether you lost in the desert whether up amounts Stool priority number. One one is Is is protection you know. Get out of the get off the highway. Get out of the stolen out of the way. Get out of the whatever the flash flood number two is making sure you're visible is a lot of people. Don't make your sh no-ho they'll be safe. That'd be protected but gonna find them so you go to set yourself up for rescue. Make sure you can be seen and then number three is water and then and then food. What how what's the longest you've gone without eating food trying to think probably i think Probably my military taste. I look back to when. I did my first big combat survival training. She and i eventually became an instructor. There with a british special full says that initially the training three weeks at the end will the training we would drop in the mountains left on our. I chased by an injury. Regiment of soldiers dulken helicopters zero supplies. And i just gonna tell to get on with invade capture make it make you back to headlines so yeah that was a long time but we kinda nibble those stuff you'd find bugs and grubs read some berries and you know we still a few phone. This chickens on the roots in the bavarian mountain. So we kind of we. We figured it out but as they say improvise overcome so another question about like. You're you're beginning in your training. What is i have to imagine. There's one mistake that you've made whether it be on the show or before the show that you always go back to in your mind like never make this mistake again. What would that mistake. Why how long have you got. I would actually say my an son of my life. The adventures my career has been built on. Those mistakes is the truth. You know. I mean i think when i started out this job i came out of the military. I thought i got a pretty good and love. It's not and do the stuff a lifetime later. I kinda feel like she. I'm a big move rookie and And it's a continuous. Learning process. Not failed my way through so many of these missions The other side. You could say that adventure really happens happens when things go wrong in that sense. I've had a lot of things that are wrong. A had a lot of adventures but i think counter willingness to take risks. Good survival really says. Do not be sake stay. Put don't run off trying to self rescue. Stay where you are getting good. Wait to be found but as we know that that also makes very boring tv style. Survival shows what for years. And i kind of came along. Let's try and do this a bit differently. Let's do self rescued route. Which says if you've got nothing and nobody's ever looking at the what are you gonna do. You know will you go to gonna gaffer tape in a in a broken glasses. What are you gonna do. You know i. i like that. Spirit of it. tons of andrzej. The question about mistakes. I think is probably overestimating my skills. Sometimes i kinda thing is gonna be fine with the crew when they hit me guy. Regular gotta be a case satellite. We've got an adventure coming. The ross gonna float trust me. It's going to be fine. No problem so i think that as often being the catalyst in many adventures but you know hey. Nothing ventured nothing gained. Who does wins is always been a key mentor of us team in the wild. And you gotta go for these things. And i think a bit like a football tackle when you off commit. That's when you get injured you know when you all in one hundred percent come on. Yeah yeah and then you get away with it a bit. More is their job. Not white do you still do. You still have fun at your job because to me. It sounds like the just the title adventurer. It's something that every kid growing up. It's like what do you want to do for a living. I'd like to go on adventures. And you actually get to do it..

"And i'm like not seem like he's a competitor and leave it on the track and that's it and over. I guess he's still probably carried a little bit of Maybe like frustration. Anger or emotion from silverstone. So maybe that was the reason why he was like kind of like stuff this. I'm just gonna walk away. I would say my. My rule of thumb is nine times out of ten. If you drive over another guy's head it's probably your fault. There are times where it's not but you know the head just avoid the head philly attardo exceed exactly. Yeah i think as well like in seoul afterwards the looked like oh say he kind of came over like ran over his head but then stopped a bit. and lewis. was. I think like things louis trying to reverse and get out so look. I don't like i've already doing boats. But maybe maybe max sold that. And he's Lewis is fine. Like i dunno. Diplomat your trash. Just sit there and you're like out of it. I said max is a jerk and you just sat there. You didn't even didn't even do anything when i said that's a credit to you. I will say like this is going to come across diplomatic. But i'll just say as a general like grid and oles drivers like the show we've got rivalries and show. We all like get on the best bought if we if we knew that like if we had a crash and we knew that guy was injured. Like one hundred percent. I like hat on how i believe. All of us would go and try and help like if we if we knew something serious. We wouldn't just turn back so i'll leave it at that. Yeah no that's so so some on a little lighter note when you win the race you do is. You're on cloud nine having a great time like you said you went out and partied a little bit. Not as much as a kid. What was the process like for you that night of determining which of your party shirts they we're going to wear. Did you have one. That was lined up one that you would take around with the and say i'm not putting this went on. The patterns are so complicated. I'm not even going to wear it until i win race. I'll i really wanna make something out here. Just tomato sound like a lot cooler. But i didn't. I didn't i didn't have i didn't plan for i've been on. If it's might offense. Maybe maybe not been on the road now. Full all like maybe six weeks. So everything's kind of recycling in my bag and The only potty showed that i traveled with actually gave to you guys. Yeah you're gonna give you some shit for that. Oh yes so. We got the party shirt. Thank you we're going to frame it. It's from urban outfitters like you get paid. I don't i never talk about another man's money put it would be fair to say you're a millionaire and you're and you're the party. Shirts are special shirts and you got like we get the bad party shirt or is that what you're wearing. Yeah that's okay you guys you guys got the shit like. Let's let's just once. Why shall we go along. But you ain't get gucci good. That's all i care about. 'cause i just didn't want. I figured that was the case. But i was a little nervous that like. We talked a lot about party shirts. You've talked about on drive to survive. It's very funny. I was a little nervous that it was like all the party. Shirts with banana republican urban which is fine. But you'd have to have a couple that are like ooh. This is a serious serious party shirt. That's it makes you feel a lot better so on that like i. I don't want to kind of give you the weld on the first date if brian ross. Now that i'm back here. Second i'm officer win. I'm a little more generous. So you might. Let's say you might receive. Something of a is standard like that. Make us work for it a little bit we need to do. Is you need to come to when you come to new york. I don't if you ever come to new york but we need to go party and then we then we swapped you're at the end. Yeah all right. Let's we could discuss this line but that we can. Do this. probably sooner than you think. Lesko beautiful i. i'm down for it. I don't care what party sure is because it's a game warned like you know we had that will put them all up or frame them. It'll be great. It'd be like the end of big soccer game. I love it. I love it. I was i was actually looking at the nfl schedule. You might be in new york like sooner than later but we were talking about getting you out to a bills game at some point. Is that something that you're still interested in. Maybe after the after the austin race. Because i saw that they're playing. The dolphins are at the bills on october. Twenty eight but then november fourteenth. The bills are playing at the jets. Here in new york. We could get you there. We party with there. I'm not going to like lose. Tom and check my calendar now. Yeah just put on that soon as soon as don. I'm gonna check and if that some sooner the council. I'm on there like i would love to announce that would be fun so i i Back to montana real quick. You said afterwards that you were driving with a primal rage. What was that is that warm. Ode warm oat. I was like and you know anyone on silent on anyone. That's really followed the weekends and followed like a friday practice qualifying and saw like my interviews. And i don't know my kind of demeanor especially the people in the team like there was. I don't know if there was something that was something that just kind of really flight from saad of the weekend but it was like a good. It was a good rage. That i had and i used it as user as energy use as fuel. And i think that's why like both the saturday we had like sprint race. The sprint qualifying I made a really good start. So i kind of use that to like get me there and then the main race on the sunday at another good style knows i dunno like it sounds cliche. Like truth is like a note. Surprised with the outcome of the weekend. Because i was like. I don't know i was. I was a man on a mission and it was. It was really nice to be not place. And i'm glad that i like both hands. What's the difference between a good rage in a bad rage. Can you tell the moment that is a good rage or is it something that. In retrospect you're like you know what i turned. I turn this anger into something that was productive. Yeah exactly that's what it is like normally would normally but a lot of time if you like. If you flip like you just wanna go home. Great ship basically. And you like you'll let out a lot of that emotion and energy in the next five minutes. And i. I did well at boggling and using it for the competition for the race so like i i as much as i wanted to do stuff i i i guess that's when it's becomes a good right. You can channel into something productive than that's that's pretty powerful. Are you a little bit offended that you didn't get an invite to the met gala I.

"The coach had to get carted off which you rarely see. That's bad it's bad. Juju for sure and i still think that the chargers are going to end up contending for the afc west. I think that they're very very good team. And then i think that's the box falcons. Here's who cares that one. If the bucks wanna win by forty they can if they don't they'll win by seven and everyone will be pissed because they took the box and they ruined the teaser. Right and then. Vikings cardinals the other other one. This one actually kind of liked biking. I do too 'cause like the the cardinals could not have played a better game like dog parlay. It was the perfect game. The cardinals played. And you know what after the entire week of us talking about kirk cousins. Wouldn't it be perfect for kirk cousins. Go on the road and beat the cardinal. This is not to be like. Wow we were wrong. This is a perfect kirk cousins game. Where he's going to go out for four hundred yards three touchdowns and they're going to win by two scores and then and then next week. I don't know who the vikings play next week. But then i'll have a major comeback down to earth moment. Yeah and it's and if you look at it. I do believe in this. It's the four. Oh five game. There's also falcons of buccaneers four five. But then the net like the nationally televised games are cowboys chargers. Titans seahawks so the vikings cardinals game. We'll get slipped under the rug. Yeah you know what. I mean we will. You won't really remember a ton of stuff and then we owe kirk cousins shop. Yes or no in kirk cousins record and primetime. This is actually the best case scenario. Because it's the least primetime game that you can get right because it's going to be the game that no one's going to be paying it to right right okay. That's that's a whole preview. Oh i have a can't lose parliament. Who wants to hear it. Plus three hundred one last week. No big deal Tell me where it loses. Ready eagles plus eight and a half. That's justed okay. I like that Brown's to win just to win box just to win. Yep steelers just to win now. Might be the harry one. No no i think. I think big ben makes a statement this week and then i left myself a little treat. Something treat adjusted total over forty seven and a half so if you get sunday night you got a little treat sitting there for you. Okay sunday night. What's the over under twenty four hundred fifty four. You must love it at forty seven. I was gonna say the other way around. I liked betting the chiefs numbers when they're higher for some reason if it was if this game was forty seven and a half less likely to bet the over but when i see the five like fifty six and i'm like i feel like i'm missing out if i'm not betting on fireworks but yeah i think you might go. I you might not lose a can't lose. Lay knock on wood would be nice would be nice Check out the parcels sports vocab. We got a bunch of exclusives up there. Let's fantasy fuck boys. "Great team yeah also So let's quickly before we get to the picks and everything Shadowed again. Dave and buster's awesome time. Do you guys play. I was saying to. Hank it was a very sometimes. There's a a there moments where it's like. Oh i might be. I am a dad. But i really feel like a dad because you guys went and ripped off some games at halftime and i just went and sat on the toilet by myself and just like like just enjoyed peace and quiet for a minute. Don't you guys look like you had a great time. Had a great time went out and played some of the games there. Did they have a couple of football games. I've played played halo with billy billy as marine really excelled and then got sharp sharp shoot rates sharpshooter. He's deadly accurate And then we went played. Some drastic park did some other like basketball games. It was fun it was really when you put a power card in my pocket. I feel like i'm pacman. That just ate the big the big pellet. Now i'm chasing ghosts. I i think the one thing i'd say about dave and buster's like you know obviously the last couple of years have really socked in people go out and enjoy themselves when you go into a dave and buster's immediately like oh. Yeah this place is fucking awesome. Yeah there's just fun shit everywhere. There's tv's everywhere. I dunno just if you if you're trying to treat yourself go treat yourself to a an afternoon or evening dave and buster's and i guarantee you have a great time. They did a great job. Taking care of us. Except for when tiller hanukkah through that interception and my life flash before my eyes and i was so sad my head was resting on the table and then the server comes out. He's like here's a big basket of tros. Yeah no he kept on. That's true that's the. That's the saddest thing. Ever when i looked at the rows and i'm like i'm in no mood for dessert but they're really good. Yeah better have it. Sure i'll just say it right now. The the The goal to to skydiving took a hit today. Oh yeah this was. We'll get back you know what though this was i. It's like we were a little mini vacation right. We're out on long island in long island inside of long island and we had a great time. all right well. Congratulations washington football team. Season back on. It is verizon. Football the best is debatable. But when it comes to the best phone network there is quite simply no debate. Because verizon was just named america's best network for the sixteenth time in a row according to route metrics and they've been named most awarded for network quality for the twenty seven time in a row according to jd power proven. Once again nobody bills networks like rising and nobody builds five g. like they do best and most reliable based on route metrics reports from second half.

Get your free supply of vitamin d. Five free travel packs today and now back to the show was the workout like what. What is the keeping in shape like for for formula one. Is it how you know. I'm kind of the guy you know in this podcast. I'm kind of the workout guy on. The guy is known for the wait around constipated. Right now you can tell you'll see you'll pictorials and thank you know. Jason got breast. And i so wait so but but in all seriousness. What is that. What is that like in terms of. You've gotta be ingrained. You've got to be in great shape to do that and we talked about losing all that that water weight. I mean it's demanding. Physical using those cars be just doing one raise. So there's there's a few challenges to come with. The physical demand of the spol- is that it's a lightweight sport. So i think in the circumstances we would be like a lot heavier than what we are in terms of. Just i think we'd love to put on muscle if we could and why we need. The muscle is that basically for the g. forces right so like silverstone for example the tracking in england through some parts of the circuit where polling like five point. Five five half. Jeez nicole like it's it's it's wild so is that because of the speed of the turn or the fact that the turn is so flat that there's no sort of banking that the offset the geez. It's mainly the speed of the time. So there's like this. Several coolness swear seven eight skill so this eight years in the net one colorado. Yes like one of them will to the ice. And it's like whatever one nine through some of these in which just so we need like a lotta strands throughout neck. Alcohol don't need a lot of leg strength though do you. Do you ever work your legs. So like outright lake not crazy for the accelerated but for the break i think if anyone droves Light drive in lanka. Probably the biggest thing not say is how hard you have to smash the break that really to get the full minutes. Out of a yeah. It's it's It's mainly like yeah. I guess blue and cough like we do like a some stuff for that and again we have to do all endurance faced. I feel like i could do okay with that because i've got a pro. I've been described as having a pro dumper. The and so like i have glued strength tough to get off the pocket because i have this pro dumper that again so i'm just yeah no. We got her. So the you know what they teach. You is to drive with one foot unless you're driving a stick shift and you gotta work the clutch with the left foot. You guys don't have a clutch. You're still using the left foot for the break. I think you guys are doing it wrong. I think unsafe tell them what to do. You just use just the right foot so you're either on the gas or if you need to come over and he has to get on the break still use the right for. They probably haven't even thought of i don't. It's so start that just safer so yeah now now. Do you miss a club. Let him let him. Don't jason let him tell anything. Here explain the mistake. It's okay so actually in erode. Aw i'll do right for breaking. And i think because there's also a lack of agency on the road you know you've got time to get all the throttle get on the break. Where in racing. We nearly overlap like soon as we come up. This struggle was smashing the bright guts and also the the steering column runs right down the middle in between alex so to get out rot food across. I don't even know if it's physically possible. I got all the buttons on the on the steering wheel. Those are all the shifting gears and shit. Yeah so we do how to watch. But it's on the steering wheel so it's like a hand clutch so you're engaging the clutch as you change gears or no. Don't you just isn't on demand for the stop so just to tangalle storms clutch. Okay just weaken slot shift. I want to know when you when you said you go. You go to los angeles and you you to chill out and everything do you Do you like the breaks in between races. Are you constantly thinking about it waiting to get back and you love it so much are you. Does your brain need the break from constantly going. i think i've always had. Yes racing's my passion. But i've always loved just other things as well Like i i don't live and breathe it so yeah. I do enjoy breaks. Do enjoy doing what do you like doing. Where do what do you like. we're sean next time you're in la greg. So i'd like. I love.

"A relationship is what she wants to know. Yeah i yeah. I have come a long story short. It is hard that with the schedule. Ya the schedule and you kind need for the It of teaches you to be selfish. You have to kind of go all in to like your boss skip all notice even like with family of friends because formula one is serving tense. And everything's like so strict on time and if a mate is late for dinner by like ten minutes on this online that you've listed ten minutes in my talk like that i've kind of grown with the sport idea resent in like life a lot. It's kind of a necessary evil if you will but you do have self care in the sense that like i i noticed. Do you live in monaco. You and i guess you spend a lotta of time over in the uk because that's where mclaren his base so you must go back and forth quite a bit to the uk's that right. i'm guessing yes an eye. So dax said you are an anglo fine. What assigned to look up what that meant. You missed it. Is she said asshole talk about me. He said you're an anglophile. Which is that someone who like wants to be british. So something like that something like that. We're just has a has a great deal as a reverence for And i i'd say guilty as charged in And i and i love the dak said that because it always makes dax laugh. Because every time i've mentioned like with my friend lingo limit. Gas your bunnies from london. Barney's always got 'cause he calls me broil impression is it's so good right way. Do you know like in other sports. Daniel the the like in football and stuff people. There is a ceiling of a when you reach a certain age. Is that true in your sport as well do people age out or are there people of a certain age still doing it. I would say it's uncommon to go like beyond forty I wonder why that is because because reaction time. Oh yeah that's true. I would say it's got to do this. Maybe some yeah like reflexes in that and you can't be a fatty either right. You gotta you gotta fit in those small cars. Here we go. Yeah talk to how you manage your water weight and everything you drink a lot of electrolytes or i. It's very like as soon as it's like. Tell someone how how much we lose during a race to sweat and obviously fluids evans. I need to become an f. Drive either you to lose light into house about whether you're about to make bateman cry. Tell them how much you lose you. Drop between five to ten pounds waterway per race. Yep exactly are you kidding me. I can use that true. I would say on average around like two and a half kilos. Which is we'll tell maybe seven pounds. Sure wait how do you do that. How he's web quickly from sweat. Dude i'll just sway. Okay yeah is there any way. We could just put jason's face in an f. one car. Just do that just so we could learn to three kilos outta my face right now. I can only see like just my basically from they shouldn't be breast. They should be pick. That's start there. What i'm going to do here is i'm gonna just tell my camera up. There's the angel. Look at this week. I was gonna say so. You spend a lotta time in the uk but then you go back and forth and In fucked acts. But then you also spend you also live in los angeles part of the time you own a house in los angeles quite near all of us. I think i am not that. I've googled. But i have where it is and i think we're practically neighbors daniel. What's in the garage over there. Yeah that was my next question. La car so so big bay the bogan australia. We call we call us back home because we don't really have anything big enough to call a truck. So when i when i got my license in the states i was like thirsting. Buying is a wrapped up so rows Incidents this is the most disappointing thing you said. First of all it's empire it no. It's so inland empire view. I a mc contract to say well let me just say this friends don't let friends drive fords. gmc gmc's year is tremendous vehicle. Wills been doing the commercials for gmc. For what is it will twenty-five years twenty two coming up twenty three years. I've been the voice of gmc trucks and they will. They are professional grade jason. Thank you for testing. Yeah yeah he's great. I've seen this the first moment. I've seen daniels face respect. You will right there with. Like i'm gonna i'm gonna drive over to your house and a brand new. Gmc yukon xl. Denali daniel and i make convert out of you. Wait so you spend time in los angeles. My point was this. That kind of must be for you. The real getaway because formula one is not huge in california in australia. I imagine you're i know you're a bit of a superstar in australia. Loves you and they've embraced you. When you're in europe you. Everybody watches formula one. And so that. You're getting not harassed but like your daniel ricardo f one champion driver. You come to los angeles is kind of you. Get to have a little go. Walk around. yeah you want granted and kind of have a life right is that am i. Right with that I'm washing now. But anyways like you're like this to two main reasons one is not very existent nest so you kind of can. It's me as well till at mentally. Get away from the on. And i'm not. I'm not surrounded by f. lung people Enthusiasts so it is like a good night and then it also reminds me a motive farm. It is a lot of weather. We've got the beaches. Yeah like a big a big version of harm. So this this like i went. Lila is a bit more to do this. So it's it's it's entertaining me. But i can also just kind of switch often and lay low Sure and now a word from our sponsors smart lists listener this this episode brought to you by zell and here's a funny story about zell. I'm currently vacationing with wheeler net and his luxurious second. Home here on the east coast of the united states with my family. It was i was twenty. Maybe what you was this album. It was like. Let's see if i was twenty. I was i was It was eighty nine. Hello math or ninety nine. That was born in ninety nine year. Old so So anyway so. I'm all banged up. And it's four in the morning and i need a ride back to my My hotel which is just outside the city. And i can't find a cab so walked by this newspaper truck. Local newspaper truck their stuff in the newspaper. Boxes it's four in the morning with today's new paper. And i say these guys in english because i don't know french Where you guys headed kid rock and of course they looked at me like like one might with not much of a response just kind of ignored me so of course that upset me because as as i said i'm banged up and And so as it's not. That's a french thing but still i mean. Come on a drunk. American asking some guys filling up newspaper box for a ride to let me come on. So they told me to get lost and as i walked by their truck. I just kinda smack. The side of their panel truck frustration. Moon you next thing. I know i'm i'm waking up. But everything sideways. Because i realize i'm on my side on the incline. They knocked me out. I guess 'cause they're pissed off at me and it's a van that rolls up into my vision in the side. Door opens up a wes anderson movie and a cop gets out of the van cop and i go. Oh this is so great you guys going to be able to take me to my hotel. They pull me and they say you can't be drunk. In monaco they take me to jail. They put me in the drunk tank. Which is one of the most beautiful rooms. I've ever seen a drunken monaco. Sound boys song. There's a beautiful sort of angora pashmina Sitting there in the drunk tank from keep myself warm and I wake up in the morning to the sound of qualifying. 'cause 'cause the little jail cop stations right there near the pits and so that was the engines. Wake me up and And i've broken my the heel on my shoe case. so it's sorta you should've mentioned you ring leopards. He'll at form groovy shoes. I mean so. I've got the extra. He'll or the broken he'll in my pocket along with the chips. And the cost wanna know if i want to file charges because i have a dislocated shoulder against yourself. That's what i realized. We're looking way. That's basically they said okay. So you wanna file charges. Because you know you're in violation of being you know drunk in public or whatever. And i just screw it and i of got in a cabin got home and nursed my hangover and my dislocated shoulder. But that's the only time. I've been arrested in monica daniel. Thank you for coming today. Daniel thanks so much here that jason story of debauchery is one of many so daniel you one monaco in two thousand eighteen. You know your stuff. That's pretty good right. How how great was at feeling winning. Monaco is 'cause it's the most famous the granddaddy grunt right isn't it. It is like the. Let's say the ultimate ultimate is is the well title. That's that's what you want and if you don't get thatta. Let's say a runner-up to a well. Todd is twinning monaco. It's like the crown jewel and it's even from. I mean that the circuit is so intense. And it's so tight and it's so easy to crash the basically Sakonnet like putting it together on that weekend. And then with the kind of just the aura of monica and i like two thousand eighteen with special because to years full that in two thousand sixteen i was leading and we had a slow pitstop and then louis posse during my pitstop and and he ended up winning the race so also dock after that. Because it's not often that you get a chance to win monaco on it was obviously a childhood dream. What is dark look like for you. I mean is it. Just you just hitting the bong every day in what you love me or you climb into the crispy creams like sean off of so. Maybe fly levels of it was not. It was actually funny because that so the twenty six kenya. Let's say the on the podium was doc Smiling and all the things that would kind of set about me after that weekend other than like hell unlucky was. Oh my god like ricardo. Can he actually can get. He can get hungry right. Because that everyone just knows me solvency Smiling and analysts lobbing having a good time but it was just funny. That i think everyone just don't i don't have the ability to feel hurts anger and dollar like oh oh somebody poke the bear. Here he comes. And i want to know so they like. I don't know anything about you personally do. Did you have somebody to celebrate your win with you. Are you married girlfriend. You children easy sean. I i don't. I don't i'm not married. No kids i had so. I was very very fortunate because twenty eighteen the year i one i had mom and dad that i had like my best mates who kind of obviously data samy but also like coincidentally doing a bit of a europe trip at the time so the ozzy's love to get around the world. Don't they love coming soon to a bar near you drunk. Ozzy's i i love. I love i love. I love as a canadian. I i love. Americans love is i do. I love ozzy's i love australia. I've been. I've been a number of times. I think it's an awesome awesome place. So so you've got all your friends over there you've got mom and dad you've got no significant other now. Have you ever been in..

"Right back to the show. When i was a kid i would watch racecar during my brother. Mike loves racing used to for his birthday. I would buy them like you know racing around the track stuff you he lives for it. Lived for it. He passed away but hold for laughs and so no he's he's crazy would allow. You didn't run them over with a car leaving. He didn't he since he's he was a great brother. I love him very much but He loved racecar driving. But when we. When i was a kid i was like. I didn't know you well enough to laugh because otherwise police love. Yes it would. He would love talking about him. You would love us laughing about him. He was the best brother. Okay so anyway. When i was a kid he would be. He would make me watch racecar driving. I i was like as a kid. I don't get it. They push the gas and they go around the. What's the skill right right. And so and i've heard other people say that of course now that i'm older and understand it there's tremendous skill about it. There's tremendous talent behind it. But what do you say to those people who don't quite understand that it's way more than that like esp- especially kids who can't understand it. Yeah and and even even like grown-ups like i'm not i'm not mad about and because it's it's simple like no one can really do it in terms of like even me followed it to drive my Tonight i couldn't like it's you know so. Nobody can really relate because it's just racing is such a niche thing and you know like we can run around on costal and understand that that is physical spoil. Can we can. Do it understand the the stress on your body on this along with the with the hope in the net. How i tried to use like an american sport. I guess sure racing if they just on. Tv it's like yeah. I dropped my cod work every day. So it's it's kinda the same just fast but we're kind of cardi drive to work every day mclaren which i'm pretty excited about As you can't really open that thing up in monaco right. I mean the fastest anybody tries on those streets is when they close it off for that race and even when that racetrack is all set up. It's very hard to pass on that track really any track that you guys were on listener. Formula one is all road courses. So you're turning left. You're turning right you you know. Whereas like nascar is a big circle or an oval and one might think that a driver would get dizzy. Because they're just going around and so much easier to pass in that situation. Sean sean so you know so. By the way. I came to know you daniel. I think in a way that a lot of other especially north american viewers guts. No you was on the netflix show. Thirteen reasons why thirteen reason drive to survive drive to survive. And so and and by the way you're the you're the most personable guy on In formula one by a long shot And i don't wanna get into naming names but there's some real duds out there and there is there is only got it must be fucking. It must be god. You have to suffer some of these folks and there's some really cool guys like a lot and tell me if i'm wrong. I like that guy toto. Who runs mercedes. He seems like a really cool character. Rights guys. he's cool. He's he's definitely gonna presence. Yeah i would say very very good at what he does. How much how much socializing is there between teams like when you guys get to a destination. Our teams are drivers hanging out and going to dinner and stuff like that or everyone kind of stay with their own team for the most part not not much like maybe after a race if if was staying at the sunday not so you know whatever it might be like a cool at a party or something like you might end up having a drink with another driver but it's it's funny it's a very individual spoil Yet it's not because al teams like mclaren has to cause and this probably eight hundred people as that team itself. How it's you and landowners for instance the other driver for mclaren this year. Do you guys spend a lotta time together away from the track. No no and i imagine that's common right most most drivers. Even you're on the same team. Don't really hang out with one another. Yeah you just end up. Conan's say stayed yourself like do get on without the drivers but it's you talking to your mechanics near team the rest of your team. That's yeah yeah like Exit lecture owner race weekend yet. If we wanted to go out to deny not. It's yeah you kind of take like you mechanics you race engineers to dinner. And then i'll have like my little con apostle crew whether at smiletrain errands agents whatever. Oh nice you've got you've got like an f. One entourage sure. I want to go back to the eight hundred. There's eight hundred people per team can't believe the apparatus but why why so many people like what are they do. It's so there's like have to tell me what each one of need them all to travel each one of these talks about how that is their plane. Is there a seven forty seven like a like an air air transport thing you put all the cars on it. The the touring bus the that you need in the paddock. Like how do you get everything all over the war against within europe you guys can drive around truck but if you're going from hungary and then you've got to go to australia. How does that happen. So that's all through plots. And i'm pretty sure. Dhl's being like a partner of islam for years and years so they that's will manage through them the tahoe so each team doesn't have their own cargo transport plane. You guys kind of sub. That out with these i believe. Seiger cargo carriers. I should probably not but yeah. I'm pretty sure but like after a rice. The cows get like stripped down Put into two containers are and then At a race weekend there's a limited amount of personnel though team. So i think it's it's roughly maybe eighty cutting travel like part of the travelling circus funding. But then yeah at the factory as aerodynamicists this strategy engineers that like it's it's wall and then and then because it's a business the only track we have here in the us in austin right in texas. Yes yeah yup. And they're going to miami next year is going to maim. Although i can't wait to be there as your guest daniel so that was so nice. Daniel thank you. I'm gonna be.

"Real. So i'm not blowing smoke but the way you've put that solar was beautiful like i will let him finish. I would have guessed. You're an engineer up. Yeah that was how did you. I started a pirelli and then i discovered acting but use. That was really that was somebody. Well i am always interested how you can tell when you drive with somebody whether they are when they're staring a car whether they're trying to literally just stay in between the lanes and so the constantly adjusting the wheel to stay in the middle of the lane or some people drive. They're looking much further down the road and they're just kind of generally going in that direction and they're kind of gliding a little bit and they're kind of at one with the car you can just see it just driving around on the streets and is that kind of how you of marry yourself to that seat and the whole car and you are one thing or or is it much more technical than that basically. Now it's really good awareness. So we have this great i guess. What the fuck are you talking about. By the way. I know you live in los angeles part of the time so next time you if you feel like some is burning the back of your head. Is jason watching you drive so tell me what do with that fear. What do you do with that fear. You just put it behind you because you can't win with it. Yeah pretty much. I think because i mean the first time you get into a cop so for me eight years old. You're aware of already like the risk and the danger room so that that's fear is something now that i've lived with my whole. Let's racing korea and it's somewhere in the back. And i think sometimes like you need a little bit of that split to access it today. Let's access the today. Let's get ready to make guess cry. What about what about when you're driving these really really expensive cars. I mean the go-carts were expensive at eight. I'm sure but now you really have a good sense of what a dollar is worth and these cars are multi million dollar cars. You go into a turn and you get loose. There's hundreds of thousands of damage done on that. What's that process like. I mean obviously some some crashes are assumed and there's a backup car and all this up but the day after or the week after. Is there ever like a little. Like a we talk to you for a second The budget this year crashed times. It's cost us. Fourteen million dollars is are you ever talked to about like your responsibility for the for the crashes in the money and all that stuff does that happen. Fortunately i don't do it often. So i haven't i haven't had that. Yeah that sounds really like arrogant but does it happened. You hear about it in your industry. That driver will get pulled aside or be asked to leave a team because it just constant him too much money. I think this this like the difference of being reckless And then there's the difference all exploring the limit analyst team will especially early days like attainable respect. You full Not crashing every weekend but if you do have a crash every so often but because you're testing the limit. I'm really trying to get everything out of yourself in the call. Yeah or that particular set up on the car was suspension or tires or whatever they would go okay you know. He's just trying to see where exactly speaking of that. So what do you think about in in again we can. We can totally take this out daniel but just what do you think about a couple of weeks ago in it. I think it was at silverstone. When you know when lewis made that move on verstappen and stopping ended up crashing out like that was a very aggressive. Move by lewis and people calling him out and saying that that he did not make the right. Move in that moment. Well they're racing the in that moment that's kind of what they're there to do. Do you agree with that or was. Do you think somebody was being too aggressive. Let's shawn's opinion i. Well i wanna know if you'd want to know what race car backwards is. Oh here we race. 'cau- yeah thanks. Answer well pal rome. Yeah yeah. That's all i was thinking about. There's a part will suffer. But know he goes to the crashing and stuff and being aggressive in those moments and that was something that just happened in the last couple of weeks. What do you think about aggressive driving. Like in that particular moment so i'll go to that one and then i'll kind of talk about it in general so that one was you'd call it like a racing incident. I think because so those have been going on so there. They currently fighting for the championship. And they've been pushing the absolute edge with each other and it was kind of. I feel everyone felt like it was inevitable. At some point. We got twenty something races this year. At some point they gonna have have a moment. So i think that was it. It'll obviously happened so quick. I mean we've been doing a whole lot so we need to be able to. Let's say coke with but yeah there's still a lot of especially the first lap of the race which was that's like the most intense lap of the race. You know shortstop you've got old kind of like the energy and On the atmosphere of the through. That i turn right sean. Yeah you gotta really pull it tight around to understand to like four. Incidentally i don't want to speak for you but so daniel rey. He came up with a torah rosa. Which is owned by red bull and then became a red bull driver for a number of years and had success in fact one monaco and and a bunch of other races under driving for the red bull team and then he moved racist for mclaren so he has a history with those guys with max verstappen. So there's like you guys all know each other and you guys have been racing with four against each other. There's a lot of. It's like being in a big huge extended family. In a way. I bet right it is an end is only i mean this twenty else in the world like that's drivers yell as that's crazy maybe a couple of seats will get changed. Aga like you. You are spending a lotta time with the current route and yet you get to know each other a bit. This is not the i think being overaggressive and stuff like that was actually one of my. Let's say weaknesses downfalls kinda growing up. And when i got to follow on his kind of intimidated just by being there and who i was racing against and i wasn't aggressive enough in and icon of go. I kana a mold you know a few times in it was it was kind of like. Yeah i can. If i qualify. Well that's nothing. If i'm just gonna get eight up on sunday in the race so you know i. I then certainly switched momentum it all and again. I think a team will always respect you for having ago as opposed to you know like this. "Came on. I was just listening. Obviously i could listen and just so you. Guys have unloaded manta. Let's say we're just we're just such board people with too much caffeine in both boring dumb people three narcissistic to hear their own voice. Not even letting you talk please. So your dad a car. Your dad was into racing a little bit not professionally and you're like an early age. You're like let me upstage. My dad gone. Continue your word. Yes i i guess the truth is if he had the opportunity to racist when he was young. I'm sure he would have liked. It was his passionate and still to this day like he knows more about caused than either like he's is the proper proper enthusiast. I'm i mean i mean. I went to social anger up while she on tv. When you did probably like your son to three years old and it was like the noise it was the nfl. Go to the racetrack to watch that. It was the smell bill so many so many senses that i was just in love with new to smell. You'd like to sniff what we call sniff gasoline right. It's actually a toughing but gets up in the morning. And then and sean. And then you're you're saying there was alcohol right and then the sound of the door shutting and then and then the exhausting along the exhaust as just a very distant so daniel so so go karting your parents take you out all the sun. What age was it. That people in perth. We're like this guy. He's really really fast. This guy should be formula one like what was that moment. That people had that conversation. Just like i ended. Yeah who said crikey. I guess who said this bogan should be racing overseas. Your accent skewed. So when i was pretty much. I had a passion for and a love up. I think even through like my teenage years so i was racing going cots but i wasn't. Maybe i didn't have like massive self confidence at that point I was winning some races. But i wasn't the i wasn't like dominating the australian same so to speak Always wondering like the guys but but not the one. So then i was. I was kinda like if i'm not dominating in strata. How am i gonna take it to europe. Where the real like his motives motorsport for at least for the formula one related so i basically got to like sixteen and also israeli Enjoying raising more than anything else. Doing at school i wasn't i wasn't really focusing on your studies. Sorry you weren't really focusing on your studies. Well i tried to sean. You're looking at me. you know. I mean jason listened honestly for jason. He studies were in the back of a trailer on the one brothers. Lots that was. He understands what i'm saying. You know how you know. Make sure you're in your key light and don't shout shadow the other actor and all that stuff lunchtime going into grace. He understood all this of his school experience rates. So so you're not striving at school you're sixteen. You're not the number one guy in australia. Are you even the number one guy in western australia. I was definitely out there. Like i was in the group and i guess the i guess long racial. I probably hit a point. Where i kind of just stop like finishing school. Sixteen seventeen and i kind of slipped a bit of a switch in terms of just like us maturity. I kind of grew up. And i was quite like young immature. Herod's that leg. I'm still figuring out. How old are you now Thirty two okay. Yes and then. I had kind of was a moment. Where are i. I'm i'm gonna go all in on this. And i did like a one off race in europe and i think that was my in a way. Marshfield was kind of thinking that the european guys was so much fed an icon of had. No no chance. And i surprised myself when i did this race. I finished fifth out of probably thirty five. It was kind of like the best of my age group at the time and that was like her. I saw move to your following. You and basically when you're one of those people. This is the heart of a champion. You needed more competition you needed. Because those you weren't getting and look this is not a slight your countrymen down in ause but it kind of is. They were giving you the competition that you needed you needed to go to the big leagues and once you got there that kind of it kind of awoke something inside you and you're like oh i can do this and once you had that first taste of success it probably. You probably never looked back. A little bit in terms of confidence right. I'm guessing yet like one hundred percent that that race gave me so much more because like for us. We put europe on a pedestal. As far as the motor racing. And so when i was like yeah i was kind of convinced myself. I do what i moved to europe. I was like. I was so disciplined so strict and a few a few other guys whether from australia from other parts of the world. Let's europe. there was some young kids who kind of living also in italy at the time and there was a few Living there as well those like a training facility and yeah like i could see the tendency like they were wife and family life. Now parents seventeen years old and the body and this and that and i was just like. I'm here to win. yeah. I don't know i just flip the switch and yeah. That was the. I want to go back to because you think i'm joking but i'm not. I really really really do want to do one of those things where you buy like an hour around a race track or something you know you go to the race checks and you're gonna raise yourself sure. I really do want to try that. What was that like the very very first time. Did you do it at your dad's your dad raised like did you get in a car by yourself. And he said okay great. Let's just try this. And what was that like so like the the one word of of associate racing with is freedom especially at a young age. You know like you'll controlling this machine and even though like you got a helmet on you know you still get some sort of the winds in your face. It's a into free feeling. And that's that's what will talk to me about the the euphoria of freedom and controlling that machine and gliding turns out. You have to marry that i with them. A management of fear too because to really compete. You've got us sort of live on that sort of the limits of adhesion right where the tire. We'll sort of your pressing at too far in. The tire loses adhesion to the road. And you spin off and you'll hit the wall So you have to constantly feel that literally in your seat Where the car is and and risk going just a little bit further a little bit deeper into the turn ause. How do you is it. Not worried about it. How did tell me about. And by by the way daniel and jason knows this because he actually won the long beach celebrity. He beat richard klein. From three's company in tomah contain an qualifying. It was incredible. I don't know if you've seen the replay. I think you're actually right with those names. He's done a little bit of raising himself but so back before Before gasoline was invented. But that what is that fear..

"Listener wills in a what we call a whisper booth in the biz where he's got a sort of a fold up Sort of a fabric closet that he can get you know here. He do all his video work. Remotely wherever is on the planet for some reason. He's got a white stick one. That person without site might use news right. What does that for go ahead. Well it's a light. Oh it's a light for what it's a light yourself. no it's just like a light fixture that i don't use and it's in the background. So sometimes you see this part of the white part of it and it makes jason crazy. Sometimes always sean. I don't know if you noticed. We had a meeting the other day. The three of us with somebody else. Right and During the meeting I did i saw out of the. And i brought it into frame just because i knew it may listen i will. Obviously it is not your fault. You're doing nothing wrong. I'm just more of a comment. On how crazy i am. Wow this is unbelievable. Growth for sure. I i kinda wish. It wasn't a land. I wish there was something else that you needed to get something from off a high shelf for something. Oh right maybe you're you're losing your site and you just want to have the stick nearby in case it takes full. Yeah i'm blessing. That was sorry shawn. I feel like you've got something you really need to talk about. i do. I really really got some really great news I got an antibodies test yesterday to see where i am with my antibodies off the charts really stupor strong. Antibodies did you guys get tested. tested recently. Tested all the time. No but for your antibodies. Is that a separate test. Yes yeah i have been tested for. Antibodies is good right. It's is good. I mean you've been vaccinated. Feel real safe. Yeah i'm accented sean vaccinated no i know but the antibodies the next vaccinated chun. He doesn't trust anybody with a needle but me and he does it. He comes over at night to put me to sleep with some extra. What is it will produce get the rest out in you guys do that on a drip or is it tablet or north of drip drip. Does he ever cook it up for you. You guys are the worst. You're the worst. Yeah i miss you. I gotta say i really miss. Haven't seen each other. I miss you too. You guys are warming me up. I've come onto this episode in a bad mood this morning. Though it's okay. Well listen. I i love you guys in and i'm happy that we have that our guest today is some i'm really hopefully. This is a ray of sunshine can bring me from all. I can say he is now. I've never met this guy. But from what i know he is array of sunshine. So what it said on his on his breakdown when you left and that is what is. The first line is profile low sunshine. I've been i've been. I'm a fan of this guy for a while. Now and jason. You're kind of responsible for it in a way and you'll find out why in a second and i i'm so excited and i kept asking like what is the day that he's coming on. What's the day's coming like some so excited. He's got great energy about him Which is one of the things. I really liked. When was watching him do what he does was his energy but on top of that he's really good at what he does. In fact he's incredible. And i can't imagine doing what he does Our friend is an australian. He's from down under david. Blaine no he has one aim he has won a number of big championships in what it is that he does He has been at the top of his game or ten years since he moved from australia. To europe to pursue Becoming the world's greatest race car driver. He's won so many grand prix including the monaco grand prix. I don't want to wait any longer. Our guest is daniel ricardo. Oh my louise driver dead s. Hello are you guys. Lord ours will you must be will are you. Do you have anything on underneath frame. It's just the shirt today. I'll bet right wills a big f one listener each other from before this. No we've never mel pleasure. Let me just start by saying daniel. Welcome to our welcome to smart lists. We're so excited to have you. It's a pleasure to meet you. How are you. i'm very well. i'm very well. thanks awesome. Fellas plotted flooded And pressure on. Now i'm supposed to be iran sunshine so give it my teeth in the waters great mile. You guys smile is incredible as the greatest smile in formula one. Potentially all of sport so much so that you should. You should be allowed to race without a helmet just so we don't always going around the turns mylan if you wanna love it. Oh my god. So what part of the world do we do. We have you and listener. If you're not familiar with formula one these these rockstars travel around the world to do these races every other weekend. I want to say because they wouldn't be able to do it every weekend. Because the apparatus that they have to put on these big huge seven forty sevens. I think one seventy seven forty seven per team Find out. We're going to be but i mean anyway. So where are you in the world on in monaco at the moment so monaco's like a. It's a little bit of a help. Full tax haven. I guess race car drivers on that any other athletes live there any other rich people looking to escape bit there. A stock was tennis. Yeah yeah. I like german counts and stuff like that. So so so so you're in monaco. That's your home base. You grew up in australia. You grew up in kurth australia right in on the west coast and ugandan to tell. Tell us a little about how you got kind of become a formula one driver. I want to know who is in perth australia to form the one. What was that trajectory. Like how how old were you when you started etc yet. It's absolutely one of the most weird full yup so basically started in dotting really but it was more like as a kid. I loved i dislike going cost like i love the adrenalin of even if it was like riding and push back down a hill like stop all just like let me go That's what i enjoy to do. And when i was Yet like eight nine years old. I i basically begged mom and dad to get me go cop and at the time it was just like you know maybe after school some days they'll take him down to the track and just let off some stayed. But let me ask you this even before that because they all look like hot wheels right those little kind of cars that you raised at home. Did you play with those. Oh yeah i was like massive nut that sorta still win it so it went from that to go karts. Okay were you. Were you like were you a kid when you a baby. I'll tell you why i'm asking this so my toddler My son who's fourteen months old. And i have two older boys. I've never seen anything like it. He's obsessed with his first word was car he wakes up in the morning. He points to outside. He wants to go in the car. And i'm not joking. The last two weeks has been. I take him out and he wants to sit in the dry standing in the driver's seat and he holds the steering wheel and he's good for twenty five minutes and he's he says like four words. It's all he wants is to be in a car. What was what was the second word. Lawsuit mustn't strangely. So we'll you're in trouble not not so the lawsuit for the cost of the. Yeah and i kind of left out. Some some information in the first five is so my dad loved 'cause he he raised a little bit not professionally. But just as a as a hobby. I guess sean your dad was pretty good driving pretty fast away from the home. Sorry some say some say if you listen closely you can hear. The engine received screech carries.

"I think there's a lot of us like we watched roger survive. We now watch a few races. This is sick but we don't know anything about the tires. The the soft hard medium. What like you use all different tires single race. And when do you use different tires in like how does that work. Yes so this this five different compounds An h h race will will get three like so Let's say formula one. Allocate three per race and so You know like the sofa. They'll give us the software compounds on mo- slippery circuits like low groups silicates and the software is only gibbs grip not unlike helps But then more is like the highest speed the corners which put a lot of energy and load through the car through the tile. Then they'll give the hotter. They'll bring the hottest that rice to give it a bit luxury ability so on each weekend we have three For example this race coming up. I think we have the three in the middle. So if you've got one two five this rebuilt two-three full So it would be like a medium a soft and a extra soft I think it's called the ultra soft out. So basically the software the taya. The quicker like warns up the mole grip. You can get out of it. But the quibbles falls apart dodds So it's i guess it's like i mean it's rubber at the end of the day so you can think the rub is soft done. It's gonna stick have more friction but it also is going to pay a lot quicker. It's it's actually the the now. Gigantic is probably like the different Spikes football players wear on their cleats depending on how the surfaces playing like. It's a muddy day at a rainy day.
