"Took him a long time to do that. Joy with the news. No word on the news. This is the third line news almost like you have to be balanced to be successful. Yeah nobody's in the. Nfl goes are not talented at something. Do you have good. I think about this all the time. The idea that like nba so like basketball. You don't have a lot of equipment. You don't have bats or hockey sticks. You don't need an ice rink so soccer basketball. The barrier to entry is pretty low. You can literally put a basket on a farm on a barn and shoot a basketball. I was in small town america. I literally had a basketball hoop and so the barrier to entry. The skiing is expensive for golf expensive but soccer and basketball. Does everybody understand how great you have to be to make the nba. I don't care if you the last guy off the bench. There's three hundred and sixty division one basketball programs. What twenty guys. A year from that basketball the barrier to entry. You can be rich. You can poor. You can be international it. Some of these sports are people. Do not in fact understand at all at all to make. So when i criticize mitch trubisky if you if mitch trubisky walked into our studio big thick athletic good looking guy. He's being compared to his peers. Not to us like trubisky if you went out in the parking lot here and he threw the football. We'd be like amazing. Probably break your windshield me through it. So it's not comparing is what. I'm going to do as a quarterback but you're going to do as a quarterback of course other quarterbacks do the question too is not can you play in the nfl. He went and six hundred last year. The question is in the afc now where you've got baker josh allen. Lamar justin herber moms. Can you beat that. That's not that he can't play tiba. Couldn't play to compla- that's not the issue wasn't the best weekend for tibo. So the clippers have reportedly acquired veteran guard. Eric bledsoe from the grizzlies. They will send patrick. Beverley rajon rondo and daniel otaru to memphis and the deal. This'll be bledsoe's second stint with the clippers. He was drafted by the team in two thousand ten and spent his first three seasons in la. This is mostly a money move. It saves clippers thirty million in luxury tax and it creates eight point three million traded player exemption that they will have a year to us so it gives them some flexibility moneywise bledsoe's going into his twelfth. Nba season the average twelve point. Two points three point four rebounds and three point eight assists per game last season with the pelicans. He was traded to the grizzlies before the draft in july. So think this is a good move overall. Money wise for the for the clippers. And you also get a good player and eric so people were kind of freaking out like us too much eric. What's it like. This is cleared up a lot of money with this. Also the way patrick. Beverley season ended with a clipper. That's something the way. Push chris. Paul the clippers organization his had a history of being not the classiest they now feel like a classy organization and that was a kind of a really bottom move. That was not it kind of felt like that was the end of the road. Yeah we when it happened. We're like this. This is not playing well in the clippers for an office. Chris paul was like everybody. Everybody put their arms around cliffs such a cheap shot and thankfully he didn't get hurt but if he had a devastating situation. That would have been for him to do that so again. This is mostly money move but it also probably didn't help similar symbolic yeah. We're not going to deal with that. So ooh saints a love me some new orleans. But i don't know what's going on with the saints this season. I do not feel good at all. I'm selling my stock. By the way next monday i think making my i i get to us. One of my amendments is taking some wins from the saints and i'm adding them to carolina tastes. Got the start. James has also got some time in the saints. Preseason opener neither outta great performance in the seventeen fourteen loss to the ravens wins losses in the preseason. Nobody cares it doesn't mean anything. Obviously they're not game planning. It's not the goal to win or lose these games but neither one of them was particularly impressive and payton wouldn't comment on if either player took a step forward in the quarterback competition. I'm not making any comparisons with quarterbacks right now it doesn't matter who really was six turnovers right is just going to be overshadow with with the those early mistakes in despite how you play in the kicking game or defensively or even snaps offensively. If that's what happens. It kind of just overshadows all of it. you know. it's six total turnovers in the game in book also threw interception and all three running backs lost a fumble jameis winston seven of twelve ninety six yards one touchdown one interceptions seventy seven point one passer rating. Don't you you take michael thomas. Out of that offense. There is no vertical threat. No it's it's a big deal that he's not out there but i mean they just did not. I don't want to overreact to it. But you'd like to see at least someone in this quarterback competition look like they had a significant edge in it. Now i still think james wind up being the starter. But that's gotta be a little discouraging. If i look replacing drew brees and you don't have michael thomas out there for the beginning of the season so he already up against. It's going to be bumpy but you'd like to see some kind of stability going into at least the preseason opener. i don't know. I just. I don't feel good about it. I don't think it your amendment is is is wrong. i. I'm i'm not feeling good about the saints. After that performance so tim tebow made his debut as tight end with jacksonville. This weekend's probably goes well as he had hoped would he was only targeted once by c. May take on austin and jumped in front of him and got the catch and he also went viral for his poor blocking attempts in the twenty three thirteen loss a little. That was his target. There it was. He's a not a great day for empty. Well first of all had three different pieces of video. Here's another one he's not. He's not a blocker. he puts his head down. He's a quarterback who was out of the sport for eight years. He's not a block when he first when it first happened. My first criticism you were here. Joy is so you're gonna to ask a quarterback to put his finger down and block a rush end like there's no way in the world. It's so disrespectful. To the sport ten tibo could block because he goes to the weight room and gets buffed watches blocking style. He's never done it his whole life. So hey go to camp and become a great blocker. He's not athletic enough to be a vertical threat. He's not going to be a pass catching tight in it. Most he would be good team guy in a blocking tight in you. Tell me how many punters and kickers and quarterbacks in your lifetime in the nfl have left a sport for eight years comeback. Been a great blocker. It's hog gronk. It's a great block. It's a little disres- y- gronk is a first ballot hall of fame of greatest identity changing or not changing position. It's it's a little disrespectful to the position of tight. End the idea that he would be able to come in and do. This wasn't great. Wasn't great tape for him in this preseason opener but look at the end of the day this is. This was never really a talents decision..

"Which is surprising eric bledsoe. If everyone remembers he was a member of the new orleans. Pelicans but went to the memphis grizzlies earlier in the off season now. They've traded him to the clippers for patrick. Beverley rush on rondo in daniel otaru so they add another couple players. Eric bledsoe i would think is going to be a part of the clippers rotation obviously given up on two point guards. They're in beverly and rondo. And they just hope eric bledsoe can be a little bit of a playmaker especially with they. Save a lot of money in this deal but the grizzlies. What do you think they're doing with this collection of beverly rondo and a big man in tura dave. Well this is the tour trade right when they traded for josh jackson anthony. Melton we called it the melton trade because you have to look. I mean you know get past the pat beverley and the regime rondo. Think about where memphis is a team. This is what an easy way to pick up a young guy who might have some talent again. It's more bites at the apple for for memphis and they're doing a great job of getting these guys. Even that josh jackson trade it was worth a shot and it just didn't work out for them But they got a great exactly. So i'm excited to see what they do with turn. This is yet another big. He might not get any minutes but if he does. This is a team. That certainly knows how to showcase those guys. And i'm curious to see what happens again collecting another good young player or potentially good young player. Yeah okay we gotta take one more quick break. But i do wanna get to the sports business classroom that you're involved in every year and a potential central sponsorship. I think we could have a co-sponsorship a between yourself at the athletic and between no ducts. We'll get to that in a second after a really quick break and i mean it really quick break. This is just one.

"Picks up his second foul. Save your Simpson. It's Michigan to the offense to Charles Matthews. The overplay by copy allows Matthews to go back door. Good challenge by Daniel Otaru goes up and blocks the shot it goes out of bounds up Otaru. But michigan. We'll reset the offense with eight seconds on the shot clock. Great blocked shot. That's the rim. Protection is cows Matthews had a dunk. Jordan pool cuts back door through the lane on the weak side of the inbound it's knocked out of bounds by Minnesota and Xavier Simpson will trigger it in again this time to the right of the basket on the hoop to our left bras dak- splashes to the basketball shot clock at five in the paint. Look, you didn't see. Well. Good. Murphy gets the left block. He goes right back at Iggy bras. It's the half hook in the lane. He's gotten a couple to go in the second half more aggressive getting to that shot over the left shoulder. He's gone to kind of the true load host where prostate this is not a true low post defender or player Matthews on the drive that time Matthews got it floated up over the big man and got it to fall forty-three Twenty-three Michigan with a twenty point lead over Minnesota. So it's kind of interesting. I I said Michigan state game wouldn't kill Michigan state actually have a day off for to play on Friday. Whereas michigan..

"You gotta get right with Charles Mathews, more games, actually, better for them. As Minnesota scores. Again, this time Daniel Otaru puts it on the floor and gets to the tin laying it up with a right hand this. This. The ceiling for a two routes really high as just a freshman shows a lot of skill early on goodpastor. Great parts in traffic and good hands. Whether big band from Michigan. Dupree mcbrayer between the leg dribble. Picks it up at the point. Now Murphy on the right side picked up by tests the quickness advantage, but doesn't challenge back to Amir Coffey. Coffey. It's been over twenty five straight. But he's struggling to get shots today. Mcbrayer jab step by step back. Three DuPree mcbrayer berries for Minnesota. As the gophers still have some fighting them forty five twenty eight. Pets the rhythm. Now, you gotta stop you. Gotta get a bucket to get a stop and maybe get a run out and get a transition bucket. That was the first three point make up the day for the gophers. Matthew spread. Geico's cutting to the MIR block on the left side he'll float into the lane which the right hand shot up. They actually probably pretty tough shot at the price. Daycare just made a scores bucket. But but he kinda like Ben Simmons right where he's right hand in life left hand vast shot that one with his right hand coffee. Spinning back rips the ball away from a defender who got four fingers on it and put it up an end with that long left hand. And all of a sudden both teams are feeling at forty seven thirty Michigan with the lead over Minnesota. Wolverines into their. They've made their last three shots. Simpson with the dribble bolted up bits and gives it off to test you the foul line of goes right back to his point guard all the very long prazegas pops the right wing fires. The three too long. Who was boxed out, but it came right to his hands. They reset the shot clock not hit the rim. Or if it did it barely grazed at a screen past fifteen minutes. Sixteen seconds left to play. Michigan leads Minnesota forty seven thirty. There's a break in the action of the big ten tournament in Chicago. "Oh to rule that would have been a backbreaker fort Minnesota as they trailed by eleven instead, the golden gophers with the rebound a chance to cut it back to single digits. Post. Jordan Murphy back to Amir Coffey picked up by Xavier Simpson. Brock stole high low post for Minnesota an inch of space given the Daniela to row he draws in for the jump shot. It is a little long and the rebound tip twice by Michigan. John finally, moved to save your Simpson in the wolverines are clamping down on Minnesota here leading twenty six fifteen with five twenty to go in the first. As you looking more methodical as the time goes by Simpson. Left some space. He'll step back and fire the three no good. But the rebound tapped out and goes to Simpson on the baseline back to test ski. He'll give the hand off to Simpson Simpson right back down the baseline do Isaiah livers livers to the basket. To the rim and throws it down with a foreign aid. Minnesota scrambling defensively and never found the match up there. And Michigan's lead is up to thirteen. Minnesota has young players that are really frustrated offensively. And it's causing them to become frustrated me. Thanks, very very notable. When you get Jordan Murphy going because they is doing that good a job and Amir Coffey. He's being guarded by. Bye. Xavier Simpson who he's got six seven inches off. But there's no space because they're not getting any new gem. He forcing upshots Lynn defensively. Just eventually Michigan wears you down. The drive by Isaiah livers, really the patients. You're right. You're exactly right. That's the staff back it up Michigan on a fifteen to run over the last five minutes and thirty three seconds in the frustration for the gophers as they've missed four straight. And turned it over Evans scored in three minutes and fourteen seconds. Auto timeout. Gophers with the basketball. Amir Coffey the point forward Michael hurt in as Richard Patino. Forced to go a little deeper in the bench, new pre mcbrayer, along with Daniel Otaru and Brock stalled coffee. Chased by Charles Mathews for Michigan practice back to stall still thought about the three gives it up. Good pass to Amir Coffey. But he can't get the three point look to fall at an open. Look at it. Rebound to Michigan here Xavier Simpson walking across the time line with four and a half to play in the first and the wolverines up by fifteen against the gophers screen and roll the right side Simpson. Back to prazegas puts it on the floor after a quick jab step now gives it up to Simpson. Michigan very patient again Simpson on the right side livers back to Simpson Simpson. Drivable left hand, flips it up the scoop will go down. But before the shot was the foul on the floor and Simpson that time very similar picked dribble up off of the left hand. To scoop it off the window. He's got all he's got all those little fatty little shots going to the basket. He you wanna play off in. But he's shown the ability to make jump shots or such out occasionally this year. He's a great little hesitation just always in control all on a string with his tight handle. And of course, he's a great defensive play by team fouls on Minnesota. The inbound goes to Charles Mathews, you'll take two dribbles to the right side, Elaine, vivid and put up that Charles Mathews fadeaway. It's too long rebound the Dangelo to root for the gophers stolen the corner to Michael hurt hurt a couple of dribbles prazegas plays off. Now, a good post entry to Otaru what he couldn't catch it cleanly. And then he double dribble that he dribbled at once trying to catch. It bought it and then dribbled again. Time out of the court under four minutes to play in the first half. Michigan leads Minnesota twenty eight fifteen. You're listening to.

"Eleven thirty three to play play in the third of four quarterfinal matchups today in Chicago for the big ten tournament and Minnesota so far trying to get the upset give the books leading Purdue fifty seven to fifty two. Well, you look at the stats networks who led the league in scoring three of ten one five three nine points. But he also has five turnovers all in just twenty two minutes of play did hit his last three. So we'll see it can watching the ball hits. The he's gonna shoot the next time to get this marked out with is. He did he came down the shutter airball diving with basket. But let's not undersell radii for struggles. As shooter or three from three point range from the peel total it he doesn't make shots Minnesota's really athletic frontline of Daniela to ruin Jordan Murphy, making a you've mentioned they have picked on him. No matter who he is defending and sometimes the obsolete, depending is they're going by harms are going by. Trayvon williams. And he's the back line of defense. And it's not really a charge taker and he's definitely on a shop locker. Two team fouls for Minnesota seven four Purdue. Aaron Wheeler has three fouls Carson Edwards met harms with two apiece along with Ryan Klein who also has two three for Daniel Otaru, and to forgave culture. Only foul trouble for the gophers. Amir Coffey will go back to the foul line. This fifteen tonight to go along with a couple of assists in a single rebound. Five of nine from the field. Three of four from the stripe. So far. Coffees. First one on the way, it gets up there. Soft from the left and hangs on the rim and falls he really increased his level of aggressiveness last night in the win over Penn State in the second half. And you kind of get a sense that tone is jumping again for coffee as he gets them. Both of the stripe. He's got seventeen to lead all scores. The lead is nine for the gophers over Minnesota and off to no gel eastern now eastern Stefanovic play catch with it at the basket to our left Edwards off the down screen quick up on the inside the harms and that time it was the right thought just the wrong connection. It goes out of bounds to Minnesota his six turnover of the day. It wasn't wrong to throw it to his big man who screening for him, but we need to look. It's unbelievable six turnovers. Here's Amir Coffey. Double team comes Motte Stockman, not a threat to shoot it. So he's not drawing much attention skips. It left side, debris, mcbrayer mcbrayer, puts it on the floor. Now rises up gives to Jordan Murphy at seventeen Murphy. Step in jumper. No, no gel eastern the rebound. For Purdue drives to strip into the nine point lead eastern all the way to the rack with a right hand. He put his head down and turned up the motor and got all the way to the hoop for the land. Makes it a seven point Minnesota lead with ten and a half to play. Minnesota seems to be slowing down the tempo. In the half court is coffee halted thirty-five feet from the basket. Double team comes on him to stock. Stop brings it down on the inside. Double team comes gets it back. But today, but missed it on the inside rebounded, Matt harms Purdue gonna push down the middle of the court eastern to a trailing harms now Sasha's Stefan of it's picked up by Amir Coffey back to harms adverts off the hand off from the big into the paint all the way to the rim. Missed the shot. No gel eastern, another rebound. Put back no gel eastern back toback, baskets, and the lead for the gophers is down to five. Richard Patino is going to get a time out here everything but the jump shot. No jelly stirred irreplaceable. What a tremendous player fifty nine. Fifty four. Minnesota has seen their lead. Cut in half time out of Chicago. You're listening to the big ten tournament on compass media networks, this is NCAA basketball. What are you looking forward to in this year's tournament? "On the inside. He had the inside position against Jemari Wheeler much smaller player, but he pushed him out of the way or master thing. When you're a big guy. You don't have to push just use your body. Gotta learn to use your lower body to wedge someone out ten and a half to play in the first half nineteen thirteen Penn State with the lead dumped down low to fake draws the defender and puts it up off the window, and that's going to be a foul on Daniel Otaru who had a very rough possession on both ends back to back. The thing that Penn State is doing they're giving into pink. I presented shots especially tournament time. We've been seeing a lot. I mean, we saw lesson. My last game getting imitate. Era. Missed the free throw the big man from wallingford, Pennsylvania. Twenty-one thirteen to more pink points in the paint, though for Penn State, twelve of the twenty one. Here's Brock stall in the corner. Amir Coffey Coffey with the dribble between the legs. Roxette now loses it briefly in the corner. Now, top Motte Stockman. Coffee with the dribble. Good. Switch by Stevens to pick them up. Good size amount leading matchup here. Coffee. Trying to go to work one on one shot clock at five spins back to his left left and jumper fadeaway. It gets a default. But if that's how you're off. It's going to be it's gonna be a long night for Minnesota. Good defense. But better offense. Jemari Wheeler back into the front court for Penn State goes to Stevens in the corner. Stevens level saw baseline Jordan Murphy cuts them off now picks dribble decent treble. You'll throw it away. "Fifteen to eleven Penn State with the lead wearing the black uniforms with the pink shrimp. Miles Dredd triggers it into Josh Reeves who let's go the three, and he's fouled on the shot as a mere coffee dragging to close and committed the cardinal sin of fouling jump shooter on the perimeter. Miffed about that foul because a lot of times guys are going up, and it kicked out, and I'll tell you Reeves kicked out. He did a great job. He knew the referees. Let's see that a little bit more added attention that same corner. Probably saw Reggie Miller. Do that to Michael Jordan a few times as the Pacers were on the road here? Reggie Miller is left with a loss. Yeah. Right. Reeves at the stripe. Missed the second one made the first still has the third forthcoming. These are the first free throws attempted by Penn State because the shooting so well from floor by giving layups. Reeves gets to three seventeen to eleven Penn State with the lead over Minnesota. And every time it's a little basket or. Free throw in state gets three quarter trust the gophers have hit just one of their last eight shots. Seven of their eleven points have come from the foul line. Amir Coffey yet to score Daniel Otaru handed off on the left side to debris, mcbrayer, he'll go to the basket waves off the screen, which was bringing him back to the middle goes baseline presses it off the window and lays it in. He was looking for an one the referees in tournament. Play. Gotta be a little bit stronger. Jemari Wheeler again penetrating into the paint picks up the dribble that time depre-. Mcbrayer stays all. But then bitches about to the Mark Stevens. He missed the three rebound tip long miles Dredd back to Stevens up. John. The alleyoop for the two and jam. That's the fourth dunk early on the Penn State. And that's the thing about a Penn State's getting points in the paint. And the only thing that's going to Jews help your jump shot as well. Ten of the nineteen points for the Nittany lions have come inside. The key mcbrayer goes back to Murphy after the screen and roll Murphy was a picket spot up. There Brock's doll. To Murphy who got the switch working on miles Dredd half double team now he'll turn away from it. Hit the half hook. No, good rebound to Daniel owns. "The Ann Arbor area. You can also weigh game. So there's a lot of places to go watch. But we're big fans of the pretzel bell. They've got a terrific food. The crunchy bird chicken sandwich. There are blue burger really like that. They've got the MAC and cheese that you guys were part of your competition a year ago or so lots of local brews on tap. The soft pretzel to start your meal or the Carmel pretzel to finish your meal is always a good way to go to. They've got TV's on every wall upstairs in the restaurant and downstairs in the sports bar. So no matter where you're sitting. You're going to have a good spot to watch the game. And it's the best place in downtown at Arbor to watch the game with follow Michigan fans, the the environment in there. I certainly during a lot of the big games is raucous good time with for quite a few dance fraternity games. I went there for the for the Villanova game. Earlier this year big time. Crowds Watson Michigan fans to high five and sing the victors with if you can't be at the game you want to be watching the game with fellow wolverines. And that's the place to do it. You can learn more by going through the process belt dot com. You can also, you know, go see them, obviously on the corner of main street and liberty in downtown in Arbor. We haven't really talked too much about that game tonight. We talk some Michigan state. But certainly I think everybody is wondering is this the game or Michigan breaks out of their shooting slump got to think, no? I mean on the road, you know, tough tough atmosphere. I think this is very much a survival game for them, you know, I- Indiana's desperate as can be. I did report today there could be out to rotation players Doron Davis. And devante green. Second third off the bench kinda guys, but Indiana's talented enough, and especially with some some home a home crowd. That's that's full and passionate like that. I think there's a. I think there's a very good chance of an upset. I might even predicted. I'm looking at the numbers seems like Indiana. Although they've lost the, you know, the. They've lost five straight before of them have been on the road and one of them against Nebraska, given the nature. I think they'd only had like a day or two off. I think it was kind of a schedule loss as well. So, you know, they're good. They're not they're not as good as Michigan. But I think at home, you know, especially if Michigan's kind of in this funk, I think Michigan their goal should be just find a way to survive because I think this win is gonna look good at the end of the year and looking one win better. Obviously always looks good. Yeah. I mean 'cause Indiana, they're not a great, man. They don't match up that well against Michigan. But they know what's coming and I wrote about this as well. Agee birthday is in Jordan pool teams are garden him a lot tighter now. And and sure enough over the last three games they've averaged a combined seventeen points, whereas when they play Villanova, North Carolina and Purdue. Each of them combined over I mean, they combined for thirty five points. So they're scoring has been cut in half by northwestern. Wisconsin Minnesota good good defensive teams. But also teams that know what's coming now. And so I think a, you know, Christiane talks about the day. It's that's the next step is how do you? What do you do when you're a marked, man? What do you do when you're circled? I on the scouting report because they were both first year starters think they snuck up on Nove snuck up on UNC snuck up on Purdue not a total sneak, but it's not like during pool did much against those three exact teams last year. So they weren't necessarily looking at him as the guy who could drop twenty points on them. And they certainly weren't looking at stake is the someone who dropped twenty points on them. So it's. What they do what they do. Now. The teams are expecting that comic performance is telling certainly helps John is having a nice game. But having a nice little run here offensively. But yeah, they're going to have to. I don't I don't expect their shoot it. Maybe I'm wrong. I don't expect. They're shooting to come alive. I think it's going to have to be their defense. I think you're going to play their best defensive game in over a month. If they want to win this one. Well, I don't know. I don't know that they're. Yeah. I'm not sure if the three point shooting will be there. But if they can what was the number the other day thirteen to twenty two on labs or fifteen of twenty five thirteen of twenty five thirteen of twenty five on layups. I mean, shoot fifty percent and layups is pretty bad. Yeah. I mean atrocious. So generally speaking. And that's a good point, Indiana. They they have Jon Morgan. He's good. They don't have that triumph fights whatever word that was meant to be of Jordan Murphy him for it. Maybe Daniel Otaru, and Amir Coffey mean all those guys are six seven with wingspan who loved to play some post defense. So you're right. It is a different. It's probably a better matchup for Michigan than past two games. I would say so they can convert seventy percent of their layups eighty percent of their lay ups and get to the basket is consistently as they did the other day. I would have been fourteen more points, if they converted eighty out of and fourteen more points against Minnesota one thing to keep an eye on and talked about this. I didn't quite fit into a story. So, but he mentioned he doesn't like what they're doing in the fast break and what he means by that is Michigan. If you look at how they beat Nova in North Carolina. And Purdue a lot of it was like force a turnover scorn, easy bucket on the other end, easiest two point swing or four point swing that they can get but against Minnesota, and Wisconsin, they got chased down. And so be line. He watched the film and he saw. Basically what's happening with Michigan is they don't think they're going to get chased down. It's not like they dog at once. They have the ball. But it's kind of like when you unaware when you when you're in the outfield, and there's a pop up and you have to go run to get it. You don't run with your hand up with your glove up? You know, looking at the ball the whole time. No you tuck and run you don't look for a little while. And then when you think it's closer than you look at so wait what he seeing is the team is like looking for the ball right away. When really if not like this was us eight and use a specific player like say Charles Matthews gets a steal and say Jordan pools already looking for the ball. What if he just tucked in ran, and maybe Charles Mathews can meet him closer to the basket. And he's a couple steps ahead of his defender. I mean, it's it's really the little things like that can be worth six to eight points. And if you think about like that Minnesota game if they are up twenty Minnesota probably doesn't make that comeback or they don't come close because they're up by so many. Points. Think about Wisconsin. There was a moment. Think about midway fifty minutes to go in the game in my personal opinion. It felt like Michigan was on the verge of running away. But those little fast breaks that turned into turnovers are turned into MRs. It's like if you can make those two pointers or easy buckets. You can kind of create some space that Michigan Senate great job creating space past two games. They have not. And I think a lot of it some there's a lot going on. But it's not just missing shots. There's all these elements the different angles the different timing of things because you wanna make your shots easiest possible. And there's nothing easier than a fast break layup. No, there's not you, and I could score fastbreak layoffs in game cry that is a true statements. There's not many of those true statements. So yes, certainly, certainly we'll see tonight six thirty pm again, you can hear it here on one or two point nine in the area. If you wanna catch it, and we'll be talking about it on Monday. Michigan state Purdue is on Sunday. The Pro Bowl is on Sunday, which we can't wait to get into that. Or do, you know come back to our original topic for today? And we were is there. Anything more pointless? I did get a couple more responses on that one. Someone sat me Thursday Olympic sports, and I apologize, but there's like speed walking. Yeah. Oh, you never seen that. I haven't really stressful. I've seen it before. Yeah. It just looks like a bunch of people trying to rush to the bathroom without having to go there. They'll they'll beat people's five. Kate nyc run times, really, yeah. Like, you can look up the times it is not like you. And I walking it is a real thing. But it's really annoying to watch. Because it's like you just want them to run. It's kind of like watching the did you ever play into polo when you're at Michigan innertube water polo. No, I don't think so. Yeah. So it's an IM sport. You I don't know if they even have it anymore because we should call that a sport. It might be. I am recreational activity. If you're an inner tube. Our are you sitting in the in the in the inner tube where you like up in your arms and enter to you have to you have to your body. Has to be in the two that's a total different than what I was thinking. But go ahead. Okay. So yeah. But basically, it's like this really stressful thing to watch like playing it's fine. It's like kind of it's kind of a goofy sport. But. It's really annoying to watch. Because it's just like just get out and swim. You know? It's just it's just not like when you when there's like that on forced barrier. Like you're choosing to walk instead of just running. It's like, it's it's a little tough to watch. I bet there's it's pretty hard to judge to because the difference between speed walking and being into a job though. They have a big rule book and it serious. I mean, it's I understand. I mean, I've seen some of it. But how about this one? The final day of the tour de France is is pointless, and I actually agree because I think the winners chosen before the final day in the final days just kind of like a victory lap. So I would agree with that one one response. Michigan Ohio state games, we know the outcome. That's funny. I like that. Someone says the Major League Soccer. I don't agree with that in the same vein is the why are you hate not entire leagues? Just because you don't like the sport. Yeah. It's not one thing. 'cause this question is pointless Raya celebration Edwards is amazing. Atlanta. Thanks. Any event held in Columbus, Ohio. Yeah. I can get on that one a little bit. That's from Buckeye hater what a great name as what life to live to. I one person put curling again. I think I think there's a this. Because you don't want to watch. It doesn't mean that it's pointless Olympic curling. Because I I don't watch soccer I understand. Although I got beef with all of you who act like you have someone motions tied at some English Premier League team. But that's beside the point don't get Zack on this rant police. But I don't watch it. But I understand that there's a point to it. You know, I understand like, you know, if you're if that's your team, you know, like, I think I think our point is like, which which event just shouldn't exist. Right in a sport that you like, maybe that's the way to phrase it like. Like, you know. I don't know. I pro bowls really like the one. I know. It's the perfect penalizes a something that we don't need to see at all. Exist. There's no point. Does anyone who do you root for like the the right?.

"Joep wallet Paul Paul Shrager here as well at the bar and a thirteen five lead for Minnesota who shot the ball. Well, interesting Joe they've shot at the outside. They've struggled on the inside. So far right there. Four for six three for three from three point range. Rutgers two for seven with three turnovers. So. When you're on the road. You don't want to turn the ball over. That's for sure because it leads to easy that was an easy transition basket that time good time out there for by coach Michael and Rutgers Minnesota, obviously is overplaying passing lanes. So Rutgers has been forced to run their offense a little bit out towards half court further than they would want it to. So they're trying to overplay. If not steal the ball. Just tip it away and interrupt the moving on the Rutgers offense. Now, they pick up man to man full court. Gave Cal shore in the back court with geo Baker Calcio from Minnesota had a very very good year. So far. Averaging double figures. Ten point one points per game. All five of their starters, double figures pretty impressive. Just Baker the frontcourt. Come right side for east chops one dribble. Feeding miles Johnson. By curry gets in close puts it up in in right over. That's a great play by miles. Johnson. A great job by Steve bike rally house or the other way has the shot blocked away by Chom, but a foul called. He went up one of those monster dunks child would have none of it. But they call the foul say got him on the arm. Free throws for Cal shore. Love the defensive aggressiveness though from east go high up for that. Absolutely again, Minnesota not content to beat the pressure. They're trying to attack. It said calcium six four. Two hundred towns first free throw is up in fourteen seven Minnesota or a sixty nine percent free. Throw shooter. Good. So so far they've had a sixty six hundred sixty nine percent free throw shooter go to the line there. Four four to start so far, right. Tonelli fifty seven. Jio Baker the far side, I slipped past a shack corner, catching close banks at home in a palace called and shack carnival, go to the line to complete a three point play as we will see Peter kiss. Cut the lead to six excuse me, Jerry. We're seeing a little bit of evolution here for Rutgers taking the volume side more not as quite as many trees and Carter who played thirty one minutes the other day most he's played all year. Good things happen as I said earlier wall goes into him. No doubt. Burst on the scene. That was the Wisconsin game. I remember correctly. Do you always remember said? The free throw up and no good fell off the front of the ramp. The foul by the way was on Eric curry fifteen nine Rutgers goes to his own now to three zone. Which we saw a lot of the other day. Caleb McConnell the game as well for Rutgers. Minnesota ball right to let Cal sure straightaway. Download fee for Jordan. Murphy turns a miles Johnson spins in the pay off the glass. No, good rebound grant, by McConnell and Caleb. Look at the of Minnesota's back McConnell topped the cake gets the foul line. Jumper is good. Great move by McConnell, but the defense go buy them. Nobody picked him up and just buried it. Fifteen eleven game. Minnesota in front by four with the ball coffee quarter court the barn logo. Now topic to the foul over the shoulder. Throw right side Murphy, at three pack of the rim. No, good rebound. Knocked it about two miles Johnson. He was boxing out curry, and he went up awkwardly and of contorted his body of the ball at his right hand. It one out of bounce of Minnesota will get another chance. We got a substitution as well. Michael hurt comes in replacing Jordan Murphy, hurt a six seven junior forward out of Rochester. Minnesota malls Johnson time before just real really bothered, Murph. With his legs. I ipad shot. Inbound the ball to curry give it to mcbrayer throw it to the right side coffee down low his curry facing up a miles. Johnson turn spins under the basket. He's able to get it off the glass for to move air at seventeen eleven. Curry's been hurt miss one year and half of another year with injury. So it's very good player. Jack Carter top of the K dribbling to the left. Nice little slip past to Peter kiss and a corner chop up top McConnell payload to the foul line defended. Welcome back to chop shot clock at ten right corner. Kissed lobby cypher miles Johnson who is going to be held on his way to the basket. Missed the shot big. This is more of a foul on the floor. Good recognition that nice pass by Peter kissed. Got the ball on the right baseline didn't really have much of an angle what miles Johnson. He's got. Great hands. Got the ball and got fouled by curry his second. So cow short comes back into the game. Also back in as Daniel Otaru McConnell and the right corner for Rutgers out of the foul line pick up his dribble up top throw from miles Johnson. Now, Peter kissing the left-wing kissed allied back to the left side. Alex pass inside for miles. Johnson. Jerus- defending Johnson five and the shot clock fake left. Go right. Put back at the rim. No, good rebound grant by kiss. But they're going to call a phallic shack Carter, I guess they're gonna say he hit a hurt who is making attempt to get to the basket. And so it's Minnesota Paul Ron Harper will come in replacing Carter who was picked up. His second foul. Good move that time by Johnson. Putting the ball of four. Couple dribbles just missed at gel poke seventeen eleven Minnesota thirteen fifty to play here on the first. Mcbrayer playing catch with coffee who has the right side back to two to three zone. Cow shore nearside beyond the arc. Runs to the right shovel. Pass the coffee over the shoulder. Throw mcbrayer and the corner backpass coffee right corner. Open three cubs up short and miles. Johnson. Tracks down the rebound long outlet pass for ISA Johnson. But mcbrayer is back now for McConnell McConnell guarded, thereby coffee. That's passed them in other right corner for Harper. Harper takes it out quarter court left side picks up his dribble. Looking for help wants. If he Johnson. Finally does swing the passed out low to wrote defending Johnson inside Sandra up with the right hand. How 'bout that? Judge Jerry four points for miles Johnson. Rutgers within four seventeen thirteen with thirteen minutes to play in the first very aggressive with the ball. We've talked about that. When you get a minute here. Cal short to the left side for coffee beyond the arc. Throw it up top mcbrayer, right side. Cal shore fake, the three download Chiro baseline jumper. No good. And the rebound is grabbed by Harper. Barbara head to McConnell, looking pull up three left sky and Rutgers within one is Caleb McConnell hits. The triple it. Seventeen sixteen Minnesota twelve and a half to play in the first good job by McConnell, just step right into that. Nobody played them both of his jumpers. Joe? Completely and rhythm and no hesitation whatsoever. Right, and nobody nobody anywhere near that time coffee straightaway. To the left. Elbow move to the right for coffee shot clock is a coffee to the right elbow steps. Back lost the handle got it back and the quarter quarterback taken away by Harper. Here comes Harper straight up the floor left side, McConnell shoots. The jumper. This time. At short follows a shot gets three bad drives baseline, but he bounces in on the baseline out of bounds. And it'll be Minnesota ball when we come back in the midst of a nine to run they trail the golden gophers seventeen sixteen with eleven fifty nine to play in the first the Rutgers IMG sports network. Locos basketball fans. I'm state farm agent, coal.
