"The past two seasons so ever since grunk cliff is been it's been downhill from. There is been downhill from there. But looking at john smith. Okay looking at jonnu smith looking at hunter henry. That combo like i said we have you seen before. Okay we'll i. They did with daniel. Graham in benjamin watson but the more recent one was rob gronkowski aaron rodgers Was tearing it up. Tearing up went ahead. Went up. When tom brady. Had those two and things like. I said we don't know if cam. Newton is the starting quarterback of ruined on based off the money. They gave him all that kinda stuff. he's going to have to fight to be it. I don't know if they're going to draft somebody or do what they need to camp. She's going to be there to help. Wayne was cam most successful. When did he have that killer year. When did he go to super bowl. When him in greg olson was tearing up the middle field. Now yes to. You can buy with candidate. Would cam was good at his tight ends along with with the patriots did in the past with theirs and you might have a full on mess to clean up over there. They are definitely gonna make a rain in afc. I don't think like. I said that was first two days. That was the first day on what all happened. And i think they got a lot more room to grow a lot more to do You know Cam having a receiver coming out the backfield as well that help. I don't know what they're gonna do. James wide or not. That has not been reported. But that's definitely keep i do know. James is in the interests of tampa bay. Not wonder why because we know what's going on there right but yeah man patriots To answer the question. Did i underestimate them. Well being that the conversation in question was around dynasties no i do think there are no longer the dynasty. They were but are they back to being a contender. Did they decided no. We're not by the be that team. That was good at some point at and then mass going to be quiet for years and we will be struggling wind up being one of the worst teams in top picks and having a draft. Not they don't talk that bill ain't getting no younger. Robert kraft not getting any younger. They want to continue winning now. So i think that's what they're working on their when they're working on now. Think about the one year deals just mentioned things of that nature. Those people yes. You're trying to stop the same time. It's people that rely on people that they can count on. You know so people that is going to get the job done this year as they try to make a push Do i think they're going to win their division. That's tough Buffalo is still a beast of team over there in is definitely going to take a lot more to knock them off that a ship okay. They're not there yet. But like i said i seriously doubt they're done as soon as the next segment. I'm gonna talk about the draft and what's to come about that but based off what they got right now is it is not happening. If if the bed on it. I give him a most still making some place else not wanting division but they can make the playoffs. They are really like what they did there on defense you know magin like kamal co that impressive. Okay straight impressive but we will see I didn't underestimate them. I wasn't wrong about the dynasty part. But did i talk a little bit too much on maybe make it sound like they are no more i did. And that's where. I had the by marta. Now we by what they do the rest of the week. i can't wait to update At the end of this week. When i do my next episode so we can learn more about what they have going on. What's going around the league. Like i said there still a few teams. That are quiet that we expect to hear more from but out of those guys there. That's a done deal patriots. Good job as i like. I say good job. Kate see what john do over here for sure Keep camp the camp start. And that's just me being vice at this point. Because i like him but at that's talking about the patriots shopping spree stop for a quick break up. Nex discuss the the draft You know talk about. Somebody's mock drafts. Who they have going. Certain places things that nature the rumors and more coming up next satan. Tired of searching the vast jungle of podcasts. Now listen close.

"Patriots kick returns. Kick returners in terms of yards by god like another quarter. He ended his career with four thousand. Ninety eight kick return yards patriots all time. We're all time all time patients time. Okay in second place else. Hobbs pretty good thousand nine hundred and thirteen return yards. Doubled him up. Not quite but yeah. It's another extra thousand on top basically well. Didn't they change where they kick off from. His win were touchback. Now there are now. Yeah yeah so. Yeah that never be broken unbreakable records. Mother didn't gravy explain number three. Is dave meggett. Greg your favorite Twenty five hundred yards and right behind him was the other kick returner in this game. Johnson ethel that's interesting. You flack house. And he did. He's done okay. This season while all right what did he flash for you steve talent. Yeah i know we're like can you explain the plays. Maybe or what he did. He took the ball and for somebody who perhaps didn't johnson one highlight all our listeners. Andy just think oh yeah. Everyone listens going to agree. They watch the fucking game. Johnson he only has to highlight he catches the ball and then goes really fast. Wow that guy's pretty fast. Actually he had one other highlight that involve him with the ball running really fast. It involves him running down santana moss apart return because they were both really fast and the only person on the field that can run down. Santana moss bethel johnson hidden with the old daniel. Graham watson bed watson sure was daily and i came back off. That's what it is now. So i was actually thinking In this game that if we have some younger listeners we may want to kind of explain who these people were talking about now are in terms of current players will like that and so two one there since the one that stuck out to me was vinny. Testaverde is the original ryan fitzpatrick. What do you mean journeyman. who've everywhere he plays. I mean they're never liked true starter houses. He had yeah he was what i say is the only one of four quarterbacks afc nfc player of the month and he did it with three different teams including melgen. Johnny unites in this game on the all time list. Forty thousand passing yards. Now.

"News Washington Post poll gives President Trump a slight advantage over Joe Biden in Arizona and Florida. Jokingly, the president says it's not often the Dave Easy or the Post. Show him ahead in the polls have me 12 down four years ago with a week to go, and then that'd be even the day of the election, But the Washington Post ABC poll. I've never had a good pole. The president has near universal sport among Arizona Republicans who have Seven point registration advantage over Democrats. Jobless claims down again last week In all 870,000 people filed first time claims for those receiving continuous benefits. That number is falling to 12.5 million, and Texas economy has seen some new growth but still plenty of areas of weakness. The Dallas federal reserves as the service, retail, energy and transportation sectors continue to struggle, But overall, the Fed does predict broad, albeit modest growth continue throughout this year. It will be up to him to determine when to begin the committee hearing on the Supreme Court nominee. He would not reveal the exact timing this morning. But he did say we will have it completed and to the full Senate for a confirmation vote before the election, and he cited the need to have a full Supreme Court ready to hear any possible appeals of the presidential election results. Yes, so here's the process if you believe ballots were improperly Given to people if you believe they were improperly counted. You have a legal process. This is why we need a nine member Supreme Court. We have the right in this country to challenge the election in the court. But here's what's going to happen, No matter who challenges the results of the election. Eventually, the Supreme Court is likely to hear that challenge and when they ruled, that is that is the end of it. And four o'clock Austin time. How you doing this morning? I'm doing great. And as always, you guys, you guys have me revved up and thinking every day, so I appreciate it. All right. Thank you. The and that's in a positive way. Of course, the the thing I wanted to comment on his I saw yesterday that they right after the verdict was announced, and the people are gathering or hair already gathered in the streets of Louisville. A reporter, and I can't remember which your news organization was asked on Africa Black man, Ask him. You know what he thought and there were several other people around him and they were upset. Now this is the take. He said that the black community is really disappointed. It's something nobody's talk about really disappointed because they had a black attorney general who is the top prosecutor in the state, and they really thought it was going to be a slam dunk that these guys would would get the guillotine basically, but they feel betrayed. His words were The black community is feels betrayed by this attorney general. I think the man just did his job based on what we know. And your other caller telling us, the mechanics of the grand jury and how it works. You know, that's all I want to say that I really think this is an interesting spin on it. On top of everything else, The black community feels betrayed by a black Attorney general. Thank you, Chris. Yeah, That's Daniel Graham of Kentucky Well, and he address that, he said. My job is to present evidence. I have to go with evidence over emotion. That's what my job is. That's what the law requires. John. Hi. How you doing this morning? How great are you find, sir? Welcome, Love y'all show. I want to know. Listen, y'all I every way. Appreciate that. Ah, always intrigued. That that that's why first rebuttal to your Former police officers. Thing that he said well ago. The second thing is, Can I ask you before you move on, John, May I ask you? Are you saying that the prosecutor in this case did not seek justice? I'm saying that a prosecutor can bring whatever he wants to the grand jury. To get a grand jury in Dartmouth. Yeah, I agree with that. But your comment about their duty prompted that question. Do you think he failed to deliver on seeking justice? I think you did, and the reason he is the second. The second point brings that up. And Melinda..

"Iona Presley you come in who are who are now just of our government and actually legislating change as leaders in our country? How do they get their seat at the table They did it through a similar kind of level personal sacrifice and dedication that you know they suffer just took of a really great. Individual sacrifice that it takes to run for office, and so as we think again to what information can be drawn from the suffragettes women today. Most, often I'm talking to young women who are considering running for office. They'll say, well, you know I don't really see putting my family through that or it's really hard or I don't want to be in kind of the nastiness of politics, and there's a certain aspects of really just being willing to be uncomfortable for a greater cause Matt something that I was really inspired by in learning about the is history and willing to make some kind of personal sacrifices myself and pursuing this greater aims and I think as we get more women represented in Congress, we will see the follow on changes to policy issues that aren't only related to women, but will help all society APP. "Today this Stephen Gostkowski twenty are filled up with the patriots back in front thirty one twenty but Peyton manning and the colts struck back quickly so we go back tomorrow Albert Sam Weiss and John Dockery there's the kept by just asking it is a short kick played by welcome to the east of the fifteen idols to the left of the twenty and then taken down not about the a twenty two yard line Bob or Scott Baker let's check in downstairs is John Dockery doc is last offensive series Peyton manning banged his hand on a helmet actually what they were looking at was his right thumb while the patriots have the ball money was up on the sideline playing catch with the with Clark and some of the receivers trying to keep Steve his hand was all right we seem to be getting enough velocity on the ball we're gonna find out right now is is in is okay our job we have seven thirty five remaining this fourth quarter cold start out from there twenty three yard line service call by the justice here's the play fake manning looks three most of the seventy thousand people that are in here don't realize what relatable a good grip it over the top maybe through a perfect pass down the middle so first the New England twenty five yard line roads in the backfield takes the handoff finds a hole his way to the twenty one led by god Ryan Littlejohn a fifty two yard pass play manning and Clark hooking up at six catches a hundred thirty seven yard for Clark to get up and drop in the end zone but he's come back strong now second out of five of the patriot twenty yard line down by three in the back field is set what about a slot to the right side it takes planning to throw Manitex along over the far side Reggie white in the intended receiver I was drifting out of bounds even if the court and probably what about about a covered by Ellis Hobbs but it isn't complete so far down and five at the patriot twenty yard line they're well within field goal range has thirty one to twenty eight so they won't be doing anything who's here you know it's tough for the handful of diseases so it's it takes the hand off and the roads running to his left will come up short this day put up a couple for the first until the ban came able to make the tackle and it is a fourth and three at the eighteen yard line so here is going to Terry who is from forty two and from twenty six this will be a thirty six yard attempt one of the freebie clutch kickers in the history of the NFL is right this from thirty six yards away for the time Mr I have to go in the fourth quarter Indianapolis Colts what could be out of this one at half time they were down twenty one three at one point it is now at one the world will kick it all through the dangerous he's the big man loses up and here is the kicker it's a short kickoff plays of the funds to the ten girls one fifteen is tiger twenty one December October thirty five to forty to forty five today down by Robert Morris another terrific kick return by Hobbs this one for forty one what makes a great kick returners again it's always moving north and south is always moving forward but he is patient enough to set up his box which you don't have a Judy going left to right are bouncing outside you always try to kill the ground up to be on setting up the boxes you go is outstanding the patriots with Israel positional number forty six yard line the third published novel to the school boards who do you work for during the regular season the use of the building radioworks Brady takes the snap Brady looks this is called a diving catch by the China Daniel Graham at the forty two yard line he fell forward we'll see with a spot it it's a twenty four yard pass and they will spotted inside the thirty coverage but no one was covering the P. thirty the outside to the office of right side of the field the free safety was dead in the battle it is good to get there in time that was just a full coverage poverty is for the good of the so the first at the twenty nine yard line the flag why the light side circle school Brady takes Brady with the play fake Brady throwing to the far side of the far overhead of double again feet out of the fifty yard line is incomplete brings up a second and ten of the cold twenty nine yard line it was a tough world wide had to do a full split on this seventeen of twenty six hundred eighty seven yards and a touchdown set out the full he takes out of the shop he throws to the far side Hanson Jennifer Graham was a bubble and not the ball loose so it is a complete it brings up a third and ten a twenty nine yard line you're looking at about a forty seven yard field goal right now is they don't do all this it was it's good to see this was the fifth earlier the here's please stop for the first stop just outside the twenty five by the middle linebacker it just three all the way down the field goal unit will will check again and once again Stephen Gostkowski the rookie fourth round draft pick from Memphis in a very big spot at the game winner last week in San Diego this is a free with with the patriots once again this so this it is good he's pretty good he's very good I'll tell you a lot he's been helped a great deal by the kickoff returns because every time the cold store they kick off if real decision is given right back to the grid operators that have to go over for a level three forty nine remaining in this fourth quarter the patriots recap W. they leave.

"So it's a lot of run all over so didn't give me give me give what career you said Kareem Han said what Daniel Graham hunt said that basically he thought that taking place off we were there on the lot the Bronx and were they were planning the defense just kind of rolled over and thanks for the call Daniel I mean Ian Rapoport reported that barring some sort of complete collapse you know Freddie kitchens is gonna be back in a what they they see him long term they they want him to get his feet wet this year and they think he can be a great long term asset for the team I have no idea what the hell's going on there man yes cream hunt said quote I feel like there are some places that everybody didn't leave their hundred and ten percent out there for the whole play through the whole play through the whistle and we've got to do that if we want to be successful I mean if that's the case and that's on the coach it is if they're not playing hard don't want to be there they're obviously get rid of them but the reason why not why aren't the plane or that's coaching I don't right but it doesn't that land on the coach if if plays are being taken off that means they don't respect whatever the rapper caution may be or they don't respect the person that they need to be respectful of it's that simple what's worse than not trying hard seriously failing is much better than not trying hard trying your best and not succeeding is far more understandable and acceptable then not trying at all under percent end of story in anything in life it's so why not Ron Rivera why not guys respected guy is a former coach of the year twice over guys one is the vision guys been Super Bowl guys coached in MVP quarterback guys respected in the community if said god can bring Norv Turner with them you hook up Baker may feel to North here we go again like the same thing about I know I I mean what do you do with the receivers both whom have been reported how DO tell other team got him out get out get out get out I'm gonna gays want to Super Bowl obvious as a player to get a look at that still there still is on the verge of the playoffs let's let the so called best receiver in the game out give your can't be much worse than what we're seeing right now can't be worse I want to thank today's guests and Jones in ya ya doing the team the second now that fans of the show and I love every last one of you and people might be familiar with how I broadcast in what I do you all know that I don't shy away from showing emotion on my sleeve or into a microphone because I'm a human being first and foremost I'm I'm somebody who does not think that showing emotion and telling people that I love them and telling people what they mean to me is something that is less than masculine I learned that from my dad I learned that from my father who passed away overnight early Friday morning at the age of eighty two last week long time New York City public school educator and administrator college adviser guidance counselor number of people that come up to me in my life there told me that they were taught by my dad or learn something from my dad just brings me so much joy always did and this is the first show I've done where he's not out there in many ways he was my number one fan and the number of people that I've met or have come up to me or I know let's put it this way for shore over the last three days who have lost a parent and I said to me the same thing that it's tough never gets easier and I I I didn't know sometimes it's somebody had lost a parent or this person didn't talk about it very much doesn't come up in a conversation it's not a question you ask of somebody the number of times of somebody's come up to me said that they've lost their mama their dad and how its counsel me about how I'm feeling is normal or how to feel and then offered their counsel or the fact that they're out there to be lean don it's just amazing to me that this is a whole different world and which are now placed as somebody was lost a parent and I'm part of a world that I did not know really existed because I was living in my own world where I had both my folks who I love so much so in honor of my father I want to say to everybody out there I lex love let's be compassionate let's try to be understanding it's missing so much in this world these days seems to be missing more and more every passing day whether we see it on Twitter we see it in the streets we see it in our friends are in a conversation sometimes we all know it when we see it too can we just be more compassionate and understanding of one another and stand out for one another and be there for each other that's what my dad would have wanted that's what he wanted for so many years so I just wanted to say that get that off my chest and thanks so many of you out there for sending me a tweet or posting worse reaching out to me in some way shape or form and my dad who's probably finding out now have and how to get the are live on his iPad because he never missed a show and he was so proud and it made me even more proud that I have his name on this month and that sign in that graphic to my dad in on behalf of everybody's lost a dad I love you dad may you rest in peace and we're all gonna be better do each other in your name and your.

"Big gala judge I came away the voice of Colorado big al ray take the field three fifty okay I'm just I'm I'm gonna say it was done it was pretty cool to see the top one hundred because players get introduced to see you come out that tunnel perfect it was cool it was my main man now Wilson man the limitation I looked like he could still play al looks great they're a couple there was a couple guys that I was like oh my goodness eek Daniel Graham Daniel Graham looks like he could still put non somebody outside imposition he just still had that he still had that look about him you know still look like he was in cars well he was another one now yeah just look you look just rough and tough in me but man when I saw you getting with that your defense of boys yeah there are that's just right just that talk and then you you know you you couldn't help but you know try to do a move here and he had seen in see and Simon Fletcher and Barney Chavis to me that's the best part that's the best part of being a Bronco because those guys they made it real for me they made it okay for me to play hard you'll have somebody talk through it because you know coaches aren't always they they don't always understand what you're going through especially if they haven't played the position so I I mean how come I've called Simon Fletcher before to ask him a man I see you doing this move will you teach me this move and of course he said okay so he taught me to move I don't use it very effectively so I tried in the game once again down like you know I can't do it so I can't I can't waste reps trying this stuff right now I got to go or what I know Barney Chavis are we already party would not show you nothing not even after you're gone no no no Bonnie Bonnie work with me Barney work with me as much as the work with the office of mine because the office of mine will come in you know body work with the office of line when he was here what the culture with the Broncos he was assistant he was an assistant for Alex gives so he worked with the office of guys and he told the office of mom in this guy's doing this thing look out for this so you know it's so it was great because you know they had to be for the guy who could tell them what he was looking at but when I was walking with Bonnie Chavis back to the locker room no he would talk to me about football and and you know it's it's great because and maybe that's why we want to such a high clip along with being a talented team because those guys used to come back all the time it was the it was noting the sea that the fellows come back it was nothing to see a dentist may walk through the doors or Paul Smith the walk through the doors of Bronson to walk through the doors you know Billy Thompson was just really big tea man with just around the lock will mild time you know and send it was just in in and I knew how great those guys were in Iran and I understood how they have contributed to the organization like I really knew but I really knew who they were so when it when you get when you get those guys to come back especially the guys to play your position you feel like you know it's okay like like a mom struggling with this thing way look look don't look at it like that look at it like this I'm like oh okay you know this is an old pro that is been there in and done that you know that that is those guys made a special for me they really made a special may not to another guys they may have been some of the guys that you know that played here and just came back and just hang around a little bit but I will I live here you know I'm saying I know these guys are when I see Randy Greta so walk through the door I know exactly who we as will not see car Mecklenburg I don't need people to tell me Hey that's call McLemore as Randy Greta so I don't need that I don't I don't need to go when haven multi sells about only people say eight essay even know what I know these people are no I see them I see them around town you know so you know that was great it really was great being a part of that crew yeah it was a great to see champ yeah come the thirty third minute rock to the ring of fame paint newbie next right paid to be there and the hiring of same but he was there John was there sharpie was there are Zimmerman was there you know all the all wearing the gold color only where the bill because they were in a gold coats for a chance going in it was it was great man it was great it was great it was out it was a day that you know I'm I'm you know it in you know me Jo Jo I'm a little reluctant to do some of those things out that that highlights some of the things about done in my athletic career is just not is it for some reason I'm uncomfortable with it a little bit and you shouldn't be you not always been uncomfortable with it because I've always felt like it was the total team sold singling me out for something that we did it together you know it just doesn't feel right to me well you were you were there with a bunch of teammates yeah day you were an honored with a group if I wanted to talk to you I'll probably wouldn't I probably if I wouldn't talk to you on Friday you like man that's a helluva money out of go man I'm like and I'm just it's just not my thing it was it was cool it was cool to hear your name announced on the pathway Conor getting in your name and have you come out that tunnel and you got a nice round of applause it was it was awesome yeah it was great and by the way y'all need to do that every single week we can't well and we need to do it again on Thursday you know before this Broncos chiefs game all right let's.

"The Broncos to necessarily win but just that you have to game plan for him so that would certainly be good news for the Broncos if it does indeed come to fruition of course the front end of schedules interesting at Oakland home against the bears at Green Bay and then home against Jacksonville not not not necessarily a gauntlet but some tricky games in their Howell improved will Jacksonville be with Nick Foles we know the Packers are good plus they're playing in Green Bay we know the bears are good but that games in Denver and then Oakland with all of their coming off of what will be a hard knocks what they look like how good are they going to be so tricky first part of the schedule for the Broncos and having Emmanuel Sanders back would certainly help that as you know I am not a fan of these top one hundred lists for these NFL teams because I don't really feel like on I mean even I thought about this because I'm like my initial thought was unless you are the Niners Steelers patriots you don't have a hundred good players your team you just that are deserving of such an online honor and then I went back and looked on like the patriots don't have a hundred players that are worth mentioning so I don't know that any team has a hundred where like a hundred there one year like all wow yeah that guy you know that guy I mmhm a good chunk of the list is is pretty much irrelevant for most every team and the Broncos certainly that would be the case of for them but they put out the top one hundred Broncos in the first thing that struck me was I they're not ranking did we not like did they not tell us this first like the just released a hundred people a hundred names listed in alphabetical order like there's no right like what is the point you're not even gonna rank these guys because they said when they announced they were going to do this I said yeah John Elway's number one but after that two three four five and so on tell you get to about twenty and then it's like okay we're done here wait you know top ten fifteen twenty there could be some interesting conversations in there von Miller or Terrell Davis just one then immediately comes to my mind wares pay Mandingo but the Broncos are doing that and I'm not going to rank all under Blair's so that was a little bit perplexing and then the other thing that I noticed and many of you probably knows this too I know Timothy Tiberius TiVo Richard if we call our first time no can do well bill van Heusen he's on totally deserve Alvin it Dan in our of corners absolutely cookie Gilchrist you don't call yourself a top one hundred list if you don't have cookie Gilchrist Sunday alone come online right use a full back for two years but the man who is the face of one of the most I'm orthodox and fine seasons in Broncos history left off this is supposed to be the we're telling the story of a hundred years of Broncos football here the players we want to represent us in number fifteen is nowhere to be found on that list it is clear to me that the Denver Broncos even though sometimes on social media they'll they'll wink wink or re tweets something from him or something like that inside mile high they want to you raise him from memory it is abundantly clear to me because all due respect to the Gilchrist family no one cares about cookie Gilchrist but you have ten people on that list and then you rank them like a normal list would do then you have a real conversation but eight it's clear to me that the Broncos just want him gone they just they don't want Tim T. vodavi link to them I mean I am I wrong wheels because I feel like that I th I feel like Tim T. bows for what he did in that year even if it was smoking mayors was one of the most popular Broncos of all time yeah one of the better seasons we've seen from this Broncos team and the last even those sensors on now a retired well they made the playoffs and won a game true so Palmer was better perhaps but that's the conversation were being robbed of is that we're not a well it but it but here's assignment on the here's the thing the the other guy responsible for that season Matt Prater he's not on the list and he's he kicked the longest field goal in NFL history at mile high right the mayor is Thomas on north speaking of guys who were more respond yes there is more responsible for Julius Thomas the wonderful tight end Daniel Graham was on the list I don't remember him being but that's my point right there they know Smith is on there you could have a but you look at some of these names here like who are these people but anyway did it Tim TiVo gets nine credit for what is that just what we're doing now no no credit whatsoever I mean it was a fan vote obviously partly partly and I think a lot of fans said are not happening you think so I didn't go for it is only that I would I would go the other way and I would say that that's one of those things where you have the fan vote counts but we can also over rule you because I mean my goodness how many of you either you personally or your kid or a neighbor or friend or coworker has a TiVo Jersey in their position so I'm not saying that he was a great player by any stretch of imagination but this is the but TiVo doesn't get on this list in cookie Gilchrist and bill van Heusen do I I just feel like that to me feels like a concerted effort from the Broncos to keep him off because I promise you if the if was cool just on the fan vote he would be on their button fortis problem is he might be number one and then that way if by some people's standards so that might cause a problem because we certainly don't want him to you it's a list of a hundred in T. ball on there but how many quarterbacks you to put a deck is I mean there's a lot of quarterback on this list Charlie Johnson the great Charlie Johnson is well let's be totally honest here who deserves to be on that list more Frank trip Yuka or Tim T. but what aid to the French your Pico and use of the first quarterback in in histories in the ring of fame rain Turner is the first Rockies player and see his name anywhere in course feel less that's the Rockies problem unless you're on the first man on the moon I don't think the first whatever matters okay there are more examples of where the first mers but being the first quarterback for a team and then it being a terrible team and a terrible quarterback I don't think it qualifies you to ask that but all right two eight six zero zero four six.

"But there's not a guy out. That's really got any experience. We gotta get you saw these guys but a big hole right there on nice first down run out of the pistol hand up the Smith that he had pressured his face right away. And they rule the play was dead. Lucas Cooper tackle the butlers. Supposed to be different from last year or or similar Gary. It was going to throw that you what this offense looks like. And what it means for Stephen Montanez? Well, the big thing is you've got usually have tied in the offense. And they're using titans. What a yes. Yeah interest. There's one out there right now. He's the tall guy. A little bigger than everybody else. They are spreading them out put him out as a wide receiver occasionally, but they usually always have tied in there. He's never on the line of scrimmage as a direct used to be traditional tied in dropping. Throw. Looks over the metal pass caught by Bill turn spins his way failed in between ashes across the forties camp down at the forty one yard. Seventy ours at time. Lewis Cooper was there. The tackle gear that tight end in to I two years here fifteen years ago when he were Quinson, Newspeak. You had Joe Clark Stein. And excellent time. We've really seen a tight end offense. Well, we had Daniel Graham. We had a pretty good group of guys going Lucas Cooper's playing in the gray shirt doesn't really make a tackle. Because he's injured. And so they're just letting him play touch out there. And so that's that's just because of the injury surge out of seven Neuer with suppression Espace trove of plant and surround the forty five yard line gonna catch is Daniel areas said he's going to be an interesting to watch. The tackle educate of six yard areas. A big wide receiver at six four hundred pounds creek Washington. He's got a real chance in a very crowded, by the way, receiving was Gary mentionable to go down at about four and a half. It's sort of the two single punted away for the buffaloes and the gold. The biggest difference. I think there's a tight in on the field. Most time everything else is going to be pretty much the same except you run games going to change the tide in and. And. So the way there's a deposition. Play with three players right now. But it's going to change the run game in changes the emphasis on the run game. I believe so when you implimented tight end as well. I mean is that change personnel defensively? Like are they trying to get matchup spy by having tied in on the field. No, not necessarily. They're just trying to run the ball better. Rolling on the field is a mile recover by the offense. I. Alley. Try to run the ball better. And it gives you a little bigger receiver into the. Some of the choice routes and into like, our defense doesn't even cover tied injury often. Those guys give trouble to we've seen that in the past. I Anna ten of seventeen big as by tiny bubbles. Montanez turns it hands off the right side just twenty to twenty five Alex to gain about seventy arts. Carson wells tackle. The Buffalo's got us to talk about together Taylor twenty looks like Lois Duxing with thirty two out there and being recant bowl. He was one of those guys seem to play for seven years at the college level such a main stay second of three. No, he works. His way of side for the first time, we're gonna call the name of number fifty three for the buffalo state Landman three yard pickup avenues. I. Mark Casey Roddick twin left guard we've seen Casey four. This is the first time that we've seen him carry cutch plan the right guard spots three three of the five guys on the often to minor fairly new first time play action, Stephen. Rabbits made at the forty five yard line. Bounce rate half. The forty yard line goes to Metri Stanley another young receiver that could be exhausted Dedi on Taylor tax thirteen yards. And it's a first down for the number one team. But the black day I tape of the twenty-seven make the forty department is under pressure chased by landed touch goes dead right there. Steve got the great jersey on contact loss of seven yards that Saklani land. It's things going to be are there enough footballs to go around because I go to Terry's and Stanley, plus the group you got coming back Bel vista. And Katie and Tony Brown. Got a lot of players, which would tell you. They're gonna find different ways to involve those guys. But are there are no football second down at almost eighteen for the thirty two yard pistol hand off to the tailback and taking contact with. Got Florida was jerick Broussard is a freshman Dallas, Texas, five nine one eighty as a gain of eight yards lamb was. A lot of competitions running back spot. There's a lot of guys there's three or four guys are trying to be the guy jerem knowing that it's wide open third down and ten black team number what offense out Stephen Taza stamp out of the shock is back like down the right side and overshoots Katie Nixon who out about a step. The defensive back Kevin Geordie at montages. Mr meta. That's gotta think you're I think senior quarterback you want. You don't wanna see that mistake too many times? No, you don't. And that was a throw that should have been made accurate more accurately, and you would like to think that guy at this point time would complete that thing. But he didn't have he had nowhere under that ball for you straight shot down there and just just mistimed a little bit especially on third ten. Yeah. Situationally? You would think Montasser be more locked in on that. And and either deliver an accurate pass. Or somebody gets you the first down Gary this offense what we were talking about with. Richard forty yard punt return as touchback. He's better offense. Do you think for Stephen help him a little bit? The I do I think just any anytime you can involve more in the run game and the use of tied in. I think it helps the quarterback play axes become a little more viable if you can do that. And I think that's that's going to be that's going to play his string. I really has one of four passing through two possessions. So far. Five twenty two point the opening quarter scoreless able spring showcase. Here's a handle gift to the tailback Jared Magam there's another one of four guys that are really buying time. And he'll Jones we saw the tackle gate a four yard Garrett. Houston pick out of Detroit. Michigan six to two hundred fifty dollars. Freshman write us a true freshman scraped back there came at early. He kind of looks the part is he does second down at six twenty four yard pistol formation hand off again, this time the left hand side kind of feels his way forward along the hash farside from media yard tackle was about to follow. Really when you look at this whole situation, the guys who probably stand the the most his game Joan running back. They're gonna learn more about those guys any other position that's out there. Janet, six and Noyer to throw the right side of her belly trafficky almost all over the left shoulder reached out with the white hair and nearly pull that bowl, but it was last-second deflected away. By your riot, HUD, city complete breakout force down for the gold team, and the buffs will have to punt this one away into the running backs. We're gonna profit by this a lot. So is the secondary because this secondary. And no one really knows he's gonna play back there. And so this is a huge opportunity for a couple of young guys on the corner. A couple young guys at the safety spots to show up and game like this and just give themselves a foothold going into fall camp. Will you think about the buffaloes here in recent years at how deep and proven that secondary was as.

Gary mentionable Lucas Cooper Stephen Montanez Stephen Metri Stanley Daniel Graham Mark Casey Roddick Lewis Cooper Katie Nixon titans Smith buffalo state Joe Clark Stein Bill Stephen Taza Neuer Carson wells Washington I. Alley Joan

"Carey. Hey, I actually I'm going to bet on the Rams I tell you why I think Brady and the rest of the team for that matter are in for a bad game or for one just think of all the bad games. They have this season. So so you think that the the bad patriots are going to show up in the Super Bowl? Well, I don't think that they were planning on so up, but I don't think they were planning on looking at bad last visible. Half the games. They lost this year. In addition to that everybody's phrase embrace Brady. But though his last drive touchdown winning drive in the last gate championship game the penalties. One in the game. There was that ball to HOGAN that actually hits the ground last. I checked that wasn't a catch. Boy wasn't a catch. All wait a minute. But what you carry? They ruled it not a catch. So what's the problem? It looked like it hit the ground to me. I know I'm saying they ruled it not a catch. All I'm sorry. I didn't hear what you're saying. Yeah. But I I thought that was one of them. That they did rule a catch that looks like it wasn't as well. Well, I mean, I'd have to go back and check that out and carry thank you. But again, they converted three third and ten in overtime. I mean, there's your focus right there. Just just stop them. One time on third and ten for crying out loud. And you end up getting the ball back on a punt eight five five two one two four CBS link. Would some forget is that the patriots offense has taken a while to evolve this year because there's been different versions of it. Remember, Julian Elman was suspended the first four games of the year. So you didn't have that piece. Then right around one woman was coming back the introduced Josh Gordon into the offense and try to integrate him in then they get back. They've got both of those guys then gronk gets hurt. And now what you're finally seeing is a healthy football team and a healthy offense. You know, the the the crazy part about this New England dynasty, if you go back and look at it and the eagles did a brilliant job of this last year as well. They find a way to get the majority of their guys healthy at the right time. If you have a cat. Data Shroff ginger your put on our then you put on IRA available. But if a guy's got a ding or managing gronkowski was a big part of getting to the point to where he's catching a slant round on third and ten running a go round down the sideline. So while they didn't have mainly for a game that they lost earlier in the year having him in that moment in the money moment is really all the mattered. I think the tight ends back then were Daniel Graham, and Ben Watson and Andre Caldwell. I think was called wells mixed in there as well at at certain points. I don't know how you view those weapons. I are. They what Brady has now is is better than that group. But that's just me. I understand that. But. What's different is that Patrick Mahomes on the other hand had all the weapons possible which made him a better quarterback overall. I think. Freddie was able to do something better than Patrick Mahomes. Instead. Well, look in terms of a stat standpoint. And max, thank you. Stat standpoint Brady will never be the guy at the top of the stats. That's where that's the function of the head coach. And that's where the head coach is lucky enough to have a quarterback who is a diva and once though stats, but even if Brady retires and say, they signed a free agent hotshot quarterback or draft another one. Double check ain't gonna bring him in unless it's about the team. Now, they're going to be times where you need to kind of break the glass in case of emergency. And you got a chance to throw five hundred yards in the Super Bowl because you down Twenty-eight three. But if you ask Bill Belichick and Tom Brady, they would take a game where they run for one hundred and seventy five yards possessed the ball for thirty five minutes and Brady throws at thirty times. They'd sign up for that right now because to them they think that would be conducive to winning. I mean, that's something that I think people really forget about is that if you just want to go by stats and the fantasy stats then they're Brady had one year two thousand seven the first year with moss where his numbers were astronomical. And he would've been thought of the way Patrick Mahomes is thought of today. Now, there's a bunch quarterback's throw for forty forty two hundred yards forty five hundred yards. They'd sign up for that right now because to them they think that would be conducive to winning. I mean, that's something that I think people really forget about is that if you just want to go by stats in the fantasy stats then they're Brady had one year two thousand seven the first year with moss where his numbers were astronomical. And he would have been thought of the way Patrick Mahomes is thought of today. Now, there's a bunch quarterback's throw for forty forty two hundred yards forty five hundred yards. I mean, Jean mentioned it earlier look at the numbers for Brady and golf yet at twenty five golf is supposedly ascending and getting better and had a good year. But it forty-one Brady had a bad year. Then the numbers almost exactly the same eight five five two one two four CBS talking Super Bowl fifty three with you on the gresh show on CBS, sports radio and CBS sports radio dot com..
