Biden "Does Not Recall" Military Advisors Telling Him to Keep 2,500 Troops

"Joe biden who is mental decline. Should be nowhere near the presidency. Gave an interview to george stephanopoulos and george stephanopoulos. Did pretty well give him a five out of ten considering. They're both part of the same kind of group. We'll start with this one. We'll start with seventy two with joe biden where he said you're military advisers. Did not tell you that we should keep two thousand five hundred troops. Joe biden says no. No one said that to me that i can recall overplaying memory games now joe biden is so what is your name. How long have you been president. Who is your child very basic questions. Ono generals made that recommendation even mark milley. Who is the male military version of robin dangelo. Even said himself that he made that recommendation. Play cut seventy two whole hell of a lot more troops. Your top military advisers warned against join on this time line. They wanted you to keep about twenty five hundred or no they didn't it was split. That wasn't true. I wasn't true so no no one told. Your military visors not tell you know we should just keep twenty five hundred troops. It's been a stable situation for the last several years we can do that. We can continue to do that. No no one said that to me that i can recall that i can recall even though that was said to him according to mark milley. Let me. Just say a side note. You look at mark million lloyd austin. I don't think either of them could pass a basic training test. Overweight generals tend not do. Well can we. Can we bring back. Georgia's patton douglas mccarthur. Dwight eisenhower real men. And there's a great quote by orwell people sleep peacefully in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

What Cops Are Doing With Your DNA

"Morning. Everybody for those. That don't know my name. Is anne marie schubert. I'm the district attorney of sacramento county. I remember watching this press conference. Susan was april of two thousand eighteen. The da came out to make our announcement. She's standing in front of a crime lab surrounded by a bunch of cops and he was there to say that finally almost cinematic investigators had found a golden state killer. This man who had terrorized california's throughout the seventies and eighties. There were upwards of fifty rapes twelve murders crimes that spanned ten years across at least ten different counties nor decades had passed law enforcement. Hit dead ends and then regrouped amateur on the internet swap theories and then after more than forty years abroad got him and done it by putting his dna profile on genetic. Teeny apology websites. It is fitting that today is national. Dna we found the needle in the haystack. And it was right here. In sacramento joseph jams. Dangelo was arrested. We'd guilty disturbing twenty six life. Sentences and his case was billed as a triumph for crime solving and genealogy and it marked a seismic shift in how investigators used dna in cold cases. Do you remember what you thought. When you heard that genetic genealogy had been such a big part of that case. I was really intrigued Because i have a biology background before i went to law school and i never thought that you would sort of come together in this way. That's nilo bala. She's a senior attorney the policing project at nyu law school and she studies. How technology and policing come together.

2021 Lottery NBA Mock Draft

"Tony. And i are going to do our first lottery. Mock draft of the year today. We're going to go back and forth. Selecting picks to put a draft order together. Midseason is really difficult. Especially if you've looked at the standings anytime lately and seen how bunch together so many of these teams are so i went to espn's basketball power index That list teams projected records to the season through a number of statistical factors. I think it's it's probably a better look. At where teams are going to be at the end of the season then necessarily their records right now and then based off of that we put together a draft order that obviously is going to change and obviously will be affected by the nba draft lottery where the top top three teams each have a fourteen percent chance of getting the top pick and so on as you know how the draft lottery works and so doing a mock draft. This time of season tough until really until the draft lotteries over. We don't really know the order but but we have some guesses now based off of where teams what teams have played. And what's going on right now and we're going to do our best to give you a are mock draft For the twenty twenty one season. First one we're just gonna cover the lottery and we're going to let tony how the first pick in the draft and based off of that. Espn bpi has the minnesota timberwolves projected to have the worst record in the league. Which is actually pretty good news for minnesota timberwolves fans because the timber wolves have to trade pick to the golden state warriors if this is pick four thirty and so the only way minnesota keeps this pick is if they fall into top three right now. If the season were tomorrow they'd have about a forty point. Seven percent chance of keeping this year's draft pick a falling the top three in the draft. So this is no guarantee from minnesota that they'll have the number one pick they all said the number one pick last year. Tony you're on the board. Who do you select if you're the timber. Wolves with the number one. Pick in the twenty twenty one nba draft. I select the I will not need three minutes to make the selection I'm selecting k. Cunningham six hundred seventy one hundred twenty point guard out of oklahoma state and so when you When you make your draft selections you do to you draft for two things you draft For value and you draft for need and this is both in pick antibi- you pick for for for the minnesota timberwolves number one. K cunningham is the best player draft You know. I think the gap is actually close Because you know. I think jonathan coachman gain in jalen green. You know both of those guys you look at them and they have some real special tools But that being said you know k. Cunningham is is still am. I is the most shore Most short superstar player in his draft. In and i think that's a compliment to how good distract is going to be especially in the top five But you know cunningham can score at all three levels. No he's sick. He's all seven all twenty. He's he's a natural point guard You know if you're minnesota you're trying to trace the ngelo russell Like as soon as possible In you know you put k. cunningham in the backcourt with anthony edwards who i think both of us can safely say it's better than we thought he would And i think that. That's obviously a backward for the future for the minnesota timberwolves in a really nice triumvirate with karl anthony towns so Definitely you know we all rights won't always talk about. We need some some of these number. One picks the go out east but you get the number one pick in another kind of generational prospect that comes to the western conference. I'm totaling till the agreement with you. Tony i think look. I don't think. I think there's five guys that can make a claim to the number one pick in this draft and so it's not like cunningham is a lock here but because of that i would put all of these players in the same tier and then when you look at what minnesota actually needs on their basketball team. Right now i think cunningham is just the right fit for this team as well and i i see him as a really nice compliment to karl anthony towns and to ant man right now and i think that this is this will be a huge boon for minnesota. If they get this pick and you know look everybody in minnesota has got gotta be crossing their fingers at this point Like you said if they fall out of the top three golden state gets this pick. And i think golden state already one that andrew wiggins dangelo russell trade as it is but if they end up getting you know the fourth or fifth pick in the draft does as as well. It's going to be an absolute massacre on that trade.

Andrew DeAngelo on Cannabis Activism

"Everybody. This is Jason Wilson with curious about Canvas podcast. Thanks much for tuning in once again So I am beyond delighted today to be able to sit down and talk with Andrew Dangelo at you. Know there's so many ways I could introduce you. Activists you know co founder of Harbourside. You're involved with the last prisoner project now. Which I know you've been bringing lot of tension to but welcome Andrew Dangelo. Thanks so much for being willing to come on the podcast today. Thank you Jason. It's great to be with your community today. Yeah totally. I'm really stoked to see where our conversation goes. I've been following a lot of your press over the past several months. Some of the interviews you've been doing and keeping up with some your work and there's a there are a lot of milestones to go through but then I know there's a lot you've been talking about lately that I don't WanNa make you regurgitate the same stuff that you've been staying over again someone to try to go in some unique directions here but there's all sorts of stuff for us to Go into right now. One of the kind of segue into a lot of things one of the first things I wanted to ask you about. Is you recently took a trip to Barcelona didn't you? I did I was there for. Icbc Barcelona and span of this. Yes yeah and you. You didn't make it out to the hashish and hemp museum. That's out there I did. I had a great time at the museum. That's Ben drunker zones and operates that museum. He also has one in Holland. Amsterdam and Ben's been old friend of the family for decades and so it was great vehicle able to see his newest outposts there in Barcelona. It's a beautiful building. He's done all this wonderful stained glass work and yeah and if you if you haven't been Barcelona the architecture Barcelona's just every single building every single doorway window archway. is just extraordinarily well-crafted. Beautiful beautiful work and the the hemp and Marijuana Museum. There is no exception and they've ban in his team just done a stellar job with that museum. I encourage everyone to make a pilgrimage to check it out. Yeah I saw some of the photos posted on social media and I was fascinated. How beautiful some of you know the way. Everything was presented the design architecture and everything and I wasn't even really familiar with that museum. Can you describe a little bit about what that museum is like? And kind of how things are presented. And what your experience. There was sure. The museum has multiple levels. So it's two or three stories. There's elevators and stairs that you navigate through it and it's part a history lesson of the plant and and specifically Ham You know the two. The two tracks museum really talks. Most about is is as cannabis as medicine and as an intoxicant and ham has a industrial raw material so so that those are the two focuses. I would say of the museum. And Ben's just got an incredible collection of ancient hemp materials and modern hemp wears also that are represented by some of the leading can't cannabis hemp companies of today. Of course UH sense. He seeds is right next door. Okay Marijuana Museum both in Barcelona Amsterdam and and you can purchase CBD products there and genetics and a whole bunch of really cool will art and culture and Swag from both the museum and since he seats and I was just thrilled to be in Barcelona and an experience that you know we we in the United States. We don't we have cannabis with sort of the first cannabis museum or installation in Las Vegas. There we'd maps just did a big installation in Los Angeles. That was a museum. But we don't have permanent cannabis ham. You know that I'm aware of that's that's as large in a serious As bans I'm sure we have lots of small Wonsan and probably millions of small ones in people's homes. I certainly is yeah I got. I got some in mind mile in my altar of course but you know so when it. It's not easy to have a museum. You know museums don't make money. They lose money and they are about building culture and about keeping something alive for future generations to learn about an and that's hard work to do in our movement in our industry is still in the embryonic stages and I look forward to the day and I hope Stephen I get to be a part of it Where there are something like that. The Hemp Museum here in the United States a- every city should have won. Every every community has cannabis story that goes back hundreds of years and and we can all tell our own version of what's happened over the last hundred years so it's part of the cultural work that I think we're moving into sort of a cultural renaissance canvas. We've had you know we had to legalize and that was just brutal. One hundred year war you know and now we have all these little battles to get legalisation right which we have not done and and of course you know. We have a lot of work to do to get legalisation rights. So that's going to be ten thousand battles that we're GONNA have to fight for that. The cultural work is really something that I think our community is going to have a lot more fun within the political work and I I really. Creativity and culture is been one of the strengths of the cannabis movement community for forever. Going back to the jazz age you know going back to the brothels of New Orleans going back to Jamaica going back to India Longtime in this plant has inspired the creativity of men and women all over the world and so we get to come out of the shadows culturally now and into the light and Where are colors loud and proud and and talk about the plant in ways like a museum? There's millions of ways to express cannabis culture but a museum certainly one of them and you know the there's a big wide open cultural world out there that I hope your listeners will will embrace. There's also I know you know. Science on this podcast. There's a big sign this world of cannabis scientists just like just like culture. It's in the embryonic stages in Gosh. I can't I can't I can't think of something more exciting right now. Then to be working with canvas science or cannabis culture.

"That are a little bit more fun again. It's that like what I enjoy about. Detroit is that there's a lot of like cool hidden stuff to explore that on the normal path so Have a few friends that are into music and in the music industry and like play a lot of shows so there's always a new club popping up or a new after hours. Venue that you know isn't last list like the little. I don't know if we could talk about this on the late as cool as the doesn't have to be there's a there's a great place in southwest Detroit It's called the salon and they have like a bunch of really fun after hours parties there and it's just like people get Kinda Kinda weird like put on their funny dress and listen to music and hang out until four or five in the morning and then again it's unique city where there's so much space and when one of these places get shut down another one's going to pop up with a month within the week until like there's so many places to kind of explore him for people to set up their little. Diy Fun music thing art thing that like pretty cheap too. I mean that's one of the Benefits of Detroit. I mean literally last night as a joke. We'RE ON MOVING OUT TO DENVER. So he's looking at Zil self and then we were joking around about finding place in Detroit and like like you can find something super cheap and then we're zillow just like East Detroit Asia like thousand dollar houses and I think the minimum on Zillow's thousand dollars can't go lower 'cause like these houses are like this streudel. Yeah but I mean I can imagine like there's some pretty like vacant warehouses or whatever that you know probably aren't too expensive and people can just kind of like flip it into something and yeah yeah so in terms of that like it's been a really awesome experience. Kind of watching the revitalization of Detroit but like even more so watching. How like true creative or diy stuff kind of shifts around And works its way around. All the like Gobert Ville and Elhage Ville of Detroit and like people getting kicked out people having like move their artists based in the music space and just like continually expanding The territory of where and when cool and fun things can happen in the city. So it's again like it's been great because I kind of started going down to the city and exploring before all the real expansion in real like reoccupation a lot of these ALEC when the Financial Crisis Two thousand nine and whatnot and it just has been really fun to see where things shift. It's been good. Yes I mean like. It's it's not like nothing got torn album. Obviously like there's been companies that left people that left and starting to come back and there was all these Even companies started making their headquarters here. Who are outside of Michigan. And they're coming here so there's that whole side of that corporate but on almost like on on the sides as like there's all this like creative stuff going on and that keeps moving around expanding out and honestly I don't know the reasons why You know everything's moving. Or maybe just they don't really own the building and they're just ask. The money is going to follow the art so Detroit's like due to its decline due to like a lot of people leaving than a lot of creative people found a way to like make space for themselves make cool things and it became a cool place to be and people wanted to be here and then people the money. See that and that people the money come in. And then they're going to chase out the artists and they're gonNA make their own space not cool anymore and artist will continue to kind of flutter around to wherever they wanNA find cool spaces to make and I think that will always be cyclical thing of the money following the art and kind of chasing itself out of town but yeah fun to watch really crazy. Where would you like to see happening in? Detroit like the whole account like art scene and like the development seen. I mean you're obviously in like architecture. It's like you probably know all the buildings coming up and whatnot like try to keep tabs on everything so it's been really interesting to see kind of like whatever obviously you can't see the end of the graph see chart of like increase in declined increase in decline in. Detroit but at the moment like in the last few years has been so much Ideas Development anticipation or people planning new projects and now with everyone building and everyone working on projects there. They drove construction costs up. There's a labor shortage so there's not enough people that work on these projects and now everything is getting more expensive to build and people are kind of shelving. Some projects or postponing projects are delaying them. but yeah so this like rapid rapid growth has kind of caused. Its own like yeah slowdown. Exactly as there's it's just become more difficult to build like a large building to like work on a brand new project in the city because of the construction costs are so high but wow. I didn't even think about that so you can grow. There's just not enough workers honestly. There's a huge labor shortage at the moment and as far as like skilled trades in the city. It's hard for people to find enough bodies to work on these projects that like people had all these pipe dreams for answer slowing down a little bit but I think that I think and hope that is just a little dip in that. We kind of are motivated enough to solve his problems in the city and create skilled trades. And help yeah kind of create an environment where we can continue this trend and not just like have a bus that would be. That'd be the saddest thing I could imagine. I mean there was a few projects.

"I wake up thinking about it like I might turn my brain off a couple hours during the day if I don't feel like working and turn it back on at night. It's just like such a seamless part of my life that it never really shuts off goes away but it's just always kind of floating in the background and again like it's As a person who isn't over thinker It's a perfect way for me to like direct my thoughts into a positive way instead of like spiraling out into something negative but yeah it allows me to create a puzzle in my head and solve it. Which has always been a part of my life at enjoyed so just like General. Creative thought is like a great great personalities. I think what you've got going on so like unique. 'cause like there's. I like to bring people. There are in businesses and like talk about like how they're growing and whatnot but like creatives especially are usually like personality type is there late they're unorganized. They're this they're that you know that's like that type it's A. It's a certain style on a spectrum of being orderly. They're like now rosalie orderly bike. That's kind of what I was going to be more creative sometimes and I'm just learning I don't know but like at the same time running a business very you know you gotta be on time. You gotTa have all the shots that they want so it's like you really mastering like balance. It's almost like you have to be good at both. Yeah definitely and yeah. I mean with again without balance like I wouldn't be healthy in my personal life in all aspects of my life so this this type of like order and like situational awareness like really Chris just like balance overall in my life. And it's been it's been helpful. Not just like as running a business that has been successful for a while but also just creating a lifestyle that I wanna live. So it's yeah like some days. I work twelve hours some days. I don't work at all and like I might go a couple Michael a few days without working at all I might go a couple of months with working twelve hour days straight and I think that that's another part of the balance that helps me to stay focused like I work for long sprints and then I take like long breaks and yes. It does create nice balance in in my life. So what do you do for fun like just like under time off like days off yeah? I don't know it's so I'll I'll skip my question. Thank you jump into a lot of different pools. I mean for a while it was tearing apart old motorcycles that I found and I got really into that and again. That's like another puzzle solving process. Okay here's an old motorcycle from the seventies. I really don't know much about motors or engines or anything. Let's solve this puzzle so like just again getting going like all in on something and trying to figure it out and it wasn't just like one bike like five at one in it. I know what you mean like you. Just get into so. You're just finding like a random hobby and you just kind of like take it out and learn about it and so right now. I'm in my living room. I have like a giant pile of fluorescent acrylic sheets. That I'm taking and making into some type of weird light and Like figuring out what does it take to cut acrylic? What does it take to like us? Electrical wire this light up. And how does that work and so again I get all everything. I do is like a puzzle that I create for myself. I need to sell so starting small. Getting big I mean again with the motorcycles like I There was a moped in my garage. That was my GRANDPA's that I was kid. Sat there for like ten fifteen years and obviously wouldn't start run so I started with that. Like small little motor like figure that out. That one was pretty easy to get started narrow data out for a little bit and then. I was like okay. There's another little like two hundred. Cc by in that one apart. Let's figure that one out and then all the way up to like my dad's old Honda. Cb seven fifty which was like a two month long process how to get that going and that was yes those little baby steps to get myself like bigger bigger puzzles stuff. That's what it is. What about like Like lifestyle do you. Do you work out by and NOTHER AN QUESTION. I have is like your sleep patterns like I. I've been really into like sleep lately. Got Apple Watch recently and can like monitor your sleep based on like motion of your arms plus your heart rate plus Something else I forget but basically I started reading about sleep and light dislike what time people fall asleep bed and all these rhythms right. You like as a creative like do you usually stay up late and wake up late or is a yes. Oh that like sleep schedule. Kinda follows my work schedule so if I'm super busy and if I'm in like a time period where I'm working a lot I'll like I'll definitely sleep. The right amount which for me was going to be like seven eight hours but that might be a motive to set up my schedule where I can like stay up a little bit later. Work and then work to one of the morning and then have a shoot. That's at ten so it can work work work. Go to sleep get enough sleep and start my day a little bit later and still have a full. Restful night's sleep but yet sleep is very important to me and I I've been blessed with the ability to sleep pretty well. I know not. Everyone has that but yeah I can like once. I hit the pillow. I'm asleep until that alarm goes off and I can do what like again. If I'm in that like go. Go go work mode. I can do fine on like five hours of sleep and when I'm not working as much than it definitely catch up on it and if I don't have anywhere to be in the morning I'll certainly try and get as much sleep as they can and Max that out and like it is very important and yeah working out as well Obviously I care about how I look but even more importantly than the vanity aspect of working out I don't think there's anything better that I could do for my mental health like any type of like anxiety depression. Whatever minor little stuff that I've had like working out in any type of fitness has been like the greatest tool like over type of meditation or any other method like physical. Fitness is like the ultimate way for me to stand tracking. Stay happy cool. Yeah I mean and all kinds of relates to even from just being a good photographer running a business. It's like I'm I'm just trying to pick apart. Like what ways help you become successful and seems like sleep? Is One of them working out as helped you a lot? Is there Is there anything else that sticks out for you like? That's that's crucial that you do outside of actual work but has the benefit of like keeping you at like your tiptop shape when you're in zone. I mean definitely. Try to eat as healthy as possible. And I don't. I don't have any really dire like Vegan or anything or whatever fast rules I like for the last six months. I've been like gluten minimal. I guess you could say Which means like. Maybe don't have the sandwich if you really want the sandwich but like I was out today having coffee and I saw a little donut donut. It didn't kill me but like once in a while it might. I might just like pick one thing for a while and just try that out. I don't think any one thing is going to be a make or break but again it's another little goal that I can set for myself and just to like keep myself in check. Make sure I'm like staying on some type of path and at the moment. That is just a avoiding gluten for a little bit but yes setting some little setup for myself and like this week is just like maybe. Let's not drink alcohol this week so I just sat hard one. Yeah yeah it can be tricky. It can be tricky everyone. Everyone did their dry January and I was just enjoying myself because I do that. January is always a slow for me. I'M GONNA I'm GonNA enjoy myself a little bit longer. You guys can go back to work right now but I'll catch up to you in February for a little. How's that been going harder? None honestly it's not too bad Do you like replace it with anything like do you notice yourself like oh. I can't have that soy like want that Not Typically typically like replace it with focusing on being addicted to not doing that so like the like the like it becomes like an obsession to like not do that or not drink or whatever so that becomes like new hobby that I fill that hole with is like going full force in the opposite. Yeah again all or nothing but how I was like that too. I think the cool thing about that is like testing your willpower. And like I get so much confidence from being able to like overcome something. I was vaping for a while or whatever and then there was like a period where I'm just like I. It's obviously I was like addicted to like not doing it. You know and like and like the feeling you get from whatever it is i. I've done like the no drinking for a little bit. Unlike it. It's resisting it. Itself is like a pretty powerful thing. I think that's definitely definitely gonNA hide from that for sure. It's enjoyable nice okay. Sorry where are you going to go ahead? Okay I kinda WanNa talk about just like Detroit in general. Would you like to do down there? Yeah I mean the the city really has so much to offer. I guess growing up here and being a part of the city. It's kind of Unique experience as opposed to coming here and visiting it seems like one of those cities. Where if you know what's going on or you know where to look to find fun stuff to do. There's never any shortage of it but I can imagine coming here from the outside as a traveler visitor. Tricky giving kids growing up in the BURBS. They you know might be turning you know going to college now or even turning twenty one and they want to go to places where they could never go before. Like like you won't you Were your your sponsorship too. Yeah where do I like to go to eat a tough one? I mean I guess I'd like to go out and I mean you're you're there a lot some time out there Yeah I'd like to go out to like A lot of clubs dancing not necessarily traditional clubs but There are few like maybe after our spots. That are a little bit more fun again. It's that like what I enjoy about. Detroit is that there's a lot of like cool hidden stuff to explore that on the normal path so Have a few.

"And not just wait it out and the first words out of his mouth where I don't think you should do. It and I was shocked shocked because this was the first time we had gotten someone who responded negatively and so I asked why and he said you know try it out on a local level for see how it goes refined your operations then scaled up to state and then scale it up maybe to national and maybe eventually go global and I'm thinking that's going to be five years from now if we're GONNA do this. No this thing has to be global right away so Jimmy. We didn't listen to one of the things we asked ourselves. Well we said to one. Do we have a visit for this. Is it clear. Yes you know. We know the pathway to get there the second thing we asked it's our selves. We said What happens if this thing massively fails right? What does this look like in its worst case scenario and we said well he's supposed to me will probably just go out and serve in Washington to DC and it'll be two guys are serving that day that's what it looks like at? Its worst okay. If that's the worst case scenario that's not so bad. Let's do this. Yeah all right so you jump in this is twenty fifteen and I was actually at the very first day service event just by chance happen to be going in the DC area. I Today's service three thousand participants. Not a two now. All fifty states someone in each state contributed twenty eight countries around the world. This is year one and essentially mosaic of Compassionate Service giving give example to quick of what people took in terms of how they would serve on. PJ serve as I think one of the one of my favorite stories. You know some of the little things really resonate with you right. There's a group of Texas access who Found a need for an individual in their community. who was in a wheelchair but he didn't have a wheelchair ramp at home? So would they do. They built a ramp but then they actually found around that there are more people in the community who need a wheelchair ramps and so they decided to make it a quarterly project to go out and build a ramp for someone in the community. You know little things like that. Yeah I really resonate. And then my my favorite moment every day of service love to share with you my favorite moments Ashley. First thing. When I wake up in the morning firstly I do rollover check my phone for the Hashtag? PT Dos. What we see because the rest of the world is ahead of us in time is projects rolling in from around the world see projects in Japan Indonesia Iraq Nigeria Myanmar? We are crushes it every year. "Working for the United States government. Yeah. That's right. How did that happen? All right. So it all started with this investigation into a Bank failure, this local Bank in Chicago went belly up in one thousand nine hundred eighty one and an FBI special agent named Tony Dangelo started looking at the bad loans. The Bank had made he was an expert in white collar crime, and organized crime. And he discovered that the biggest bad loan. This Bank had made had gone to one man. John Christopher Mr. Christopher had a couple of trucking companies some other businesses, and he had borrowed. I can't remember the exact amount. But I believe the total deficit that the Bank was in the millions two point five million. That's what John Christopher would later saying court through these companies, he borrowed money and was not paying the loans back on time. And they had to be ultimately be written off. Tony Dangelo looked up. John Christopher in the FBI's database and learned that he had a prison record and mob ties so Dangelo calls, John Christopher thinking, he can help the FBI bossed the higher ups at the Bank. So I told them I was, you know, I looked at your dealings with cosmopolitan Bank. I've got you dead to right on financial fraud with your loan application, and I found in my career. People are very curious. They wanna know what information you have about them, what evidence now also mentioned to him. I know you just gotta jail. You got a couple of kids. "Of our league games the night nets at Lakers. Ten thirty P M eastern seven thirty local in L A and the Lakers will have the prom back after he missed a game with that sore groin. But here's the thing guys. It's been, you know, assumed but with the loss tonight, they are officially eliminated from playoff contention t MAC, we just heard Dangelo talk about being traded from the Lakers to the nets. Do you think it would be a little sweet for him tonight area walked into that building playing the clippers earlier this week and dropped thirty plus lies in his veins. Right. Got it on his mind right now. He's thinking about what he's trying to do to this team tonight's eliminate them. It's personal for him. So he should take this opportunity to eliminate a team that got rid of him that gave up on him pretty quick and he's playing at all star level right now. So yeah, it is on his mind as he probably is taking his little afternoon nap. Call him the eliminator tonight. In vain tonight. This young man has been balling pretty much since the Lakers traded him. He's he's had this sort of chip on his shoulders through to get to also level. And we we seen that happen to season. And even since all saw he's picked it up. Even more uplifting of his teammates. You know? Now, they got opportunity to play in the postseason. I'm I'm very happy for him in that he's having a special season now for a young player. If you're going out there for blood with the one thing, you might end up trying to do too much just keep going out there and playing out that opportunity rises, and there's a moment in that fourth quarter. Oh, he's world. Let the World Cup. He he's he's getting there. He ain't Dame Lillard where he just gone just dominate you from the first quarter to the fourth quarter. He has that ability. He's having a special season. But the best thing for him to do just go out there and play your normal game. Just concede to your teammates shoot your shot in an afterlife five minutes that last. Go for bronze plan tonight. This mazing what can happen when you this mentally locked in? And when you leave although the crap law. Because I mean, I think being in LA he was so focused on everything but basketball is a lot of distractions. And I think Kenny actions that coaching staff needs a lot of credit for getting his mindset in the right in the right place. And he's playing great basketball..

"Please. I think she's overheated from Ripley's Durkan. You put a moist wet cloth on that. Ladies for you shakes. You said, yes. Derek stone. The brains behind this operation here. Let's get into this Boston during a guest lecturer. At and this happened at west middle school in the if it did we we exposed that on the show two years ago. Same kind of deal somebody's stood up in front of a bunch of people told they're all racists because there weren't enough black people in the room. They were all racist. Teachers because they weren't affirming the young black children with ghetto speak. Then she didn't call it ghetto speak. But that's exactly what she was talking about. And I had two teachers confirmed that and then the principle of time. Remember she hid under a desk when come on the radio. Yeah. Anyway, during a guest lecture at Boston University, Monday would be what couple of days ago university of Washington. Professor, Robin Dangelo told the dangerous white person sees people as individuals rather than by skin color. Just let that sink in for a second. Isn't that kind of a one eighty degree flip from what we used to teach people are not necessarily propaganda? But exposed them to say, you know, what you need. Everybody's an individual because we are individuals. Do you see what's really happening here? There's sand sandblasting off of the human mind the natural natural at this border. They call it. Love nature. Lot nature laws are natural laws wherever the forefathers said about this is so apparent inalienable rights whatever God, given such that. It's apparent to you close your eyes. It's there. Nobody can take it from me. Well, they're trying to take it from you that you're an individual. Yeah. You know, you're an individual the Jews building the the pyramids new. They're individuals. The the people going back that far when the feral was the head progressive. They you take slavery back to the very beginning. When or when anybody the king when he was gouging people's eyes out for trying to keep from starving to death and hunting deer on his estate and his estate was maybe half the size of England. Without his permission. The that's that's the progressive mindset. That's the power and plunder and they didn't want you being an individual do. You know, the first thing they have to do to put down any kind of freedom. I mean, crush any spark of freedom is get rid of the individual. Well, you know now because you're listening to me so internalized that would you please Boston during a guest lecturer at Boston University on Monday university of Washington, professor, Robin Dangelo, I'm looking at this chick. She looked crazy as hell told the audience a dangerous white person dangerous way person sees people's individuals them by skin color. I'm dangerous baby. But you know, what chicks dig Dangelo whose main field of work is whiteness studies. Wow. She added that those who say they were taught to treat everyone the same. They deny black people of their reality. She said. Everything I'm worldly, a paragraph and a half into this is everything that we fought against when we got rid of racism worked at it. Anyway, like like crazy from the sixties forward. Remember that? Yeah. And making the claim DeAngelis said she was lifting the terminology from her frequent co facilitator and speaking engagements black scholar Aaron Trent Johnson. Well, there you go somebody the three names Aaron Trent Johnson. You know, they read Dangelo comments recaps during a section of our talk title. What does it mean to be white? How does this crap get into the school system? Not you think this is crazy if they run you're just wasting time. What does this got through? This is to do with everything. "And you know, the grass is for kyri, the grass is always greener on the other side. I mean, you look at teams the teams that have money to spend their all teams that are borderline playoff teams or teams in the lottery. You know, you have New York you have, you know, Brooklyn's got a point guard and Dangelo Russell, of course, the Lakers, Dallas the. Clippers don't need a point guard here. So yeah, I mean are you, you know, and I and that's not even taking into account, you know, his health issues that he's had over the last two years two or three years there. You would team that's willing to invest, you know, four years and fifty sixty million dollars in and a player. So yeah, there's risk on a team standpoint. There's for kyri. It's you wanna go to a team. That's probably is the talent efficient than what you were leaving in Boston. So we're talking to ESPN MBA front office insider, Bobby marks I'm gonna ask you to put your front office hat on again, if you're sitting in front office right now, and you read a quote from from Kevin Durant that says the NBA doesn't fulfill me what's your reaction to that that he might sign with the Nixon the off season action. You know, it's fine. I read the article, and that was my cake. Like, here's a guy who he's basically feels like he's accomplished a lot at Mesa the everything, especially if you win a third championship this year, and he doesn't have. Anything else to prove? And he doesn't have to prove anything to anybody. And whatever his next move is going to be is going to be for Kevin Durant to be happy. Then maybe it's not about winning championships here. So you had how this kinda I guess that was my initial take. When I when I read that that article that maybe he's content taking the them abroad approach going to team that is a at best maybe a six to eight seed in China, mold it into his own. Well, let's stick with LeBron for a second here. Right right now, they're they're sitting on the outside of the playoff picture looking in. If they missed the playoffs completely where do they go from here? Well, it's interesting. It's like, you know, they wait for Anthony Davis if they can't do deal, but then we're waiting two thousand twenty and then you're going on your three of LeBron or you can try to you try to build his out, maybe the right way. And maybe not go star chasing, you know, especially if you I know that's probably something. They don't want here if they miss out on ran or coli or Kumbo or career. But the go the, you know, we we've see this year that it is very hard on your putting roster together of of one year place holders, as I call guys on one year contracts here, and I think that's something. They're going to need to look hard at this summer, even if it takes away their cat flexibility, but the Bill the roster out there would have at least it got some stability around some of these younger players because in reality. It's not the younger kids that were kind of looking at as far as where where the blame is. You know, Brenning has been really good lately, you know, calicoes has been pretty consistent issue Alonso ball's been hurt. I think that's hurt you, but slam Stevenson Rajon Rondo Davis. Call up hope, Michael Beasley is not even there anymore Tyson Chandler, those guys have really been kinda your achilles this year. So yeah, it'll be interesting. They've got you know, thirty five thirty six million dollars and cap space this summer to go out and get 'em marquee guy. But what happens when he don't, you know, can you be patient? I guess and wait till two thousand twenty I think if you're if you if you try to build it the right way, we're guys that fit. The role. I mean, we see you don't have to go out and get an all NBA type team the ground win. I mean, we're starting to see that in Milwaukee. You guys can follow him on Twitter at Bobby marks. Forty two. Always the best insight mostly Bobby because he agreed with me or not throwing takes the agreement. That means I I'm doing it right now appreciates your time, a friend. Thanks for joining us. "Plays at an elite level. And it got us wondering what is your all slo MO team? The joker in Kyle Anderson have got to take up to the front court spots. But please help us fill out the rest of the roster also team, I guess, we're current players for the most part. I don't know. If you went legends throw Joe Ingles in the Joey good one. Always looks like he's, you know, step too slow. Yup. Deceptively quick. Yeah. But even with his shot release. You know, is that it gets to him and takes an extra second or two to get it off who's the point guard, Raymond Felton. The guard is tough tough. Maybe go with the big garden. Evan turner. He plays slow got a spin move that takes forever, but somehow works candle the ball showed another go. I who his slaughter Lisa blowers. Bledsoe he sort of goes down and his. His a speedy do Wicca. Yeah. But he's gonna be as well. He's cooking. Dangelo Russell on Dangelo. Russell dangelo. He's herky-jerky. Yeah. He doesn't have a like he doesn't leap. He doesn't get off the floor. He sort of just glides around and slides around anyone else tests to the mix there for the all slo MO team. I want a lot of old old leads. Dirk should be in there. Magnificient? We've even if he's forty whatever he is Dirk was on Zach Lowe's podcast recently, and he was talking about the him competing in the three point competition. And you know, he was a little worried that he might not be able to do shots. And he actually like he was talking about it. It's like my release isn't the part that super slow. It's going to be getting from Iraq. And then lo I think was joking that he should get like an extra ten seconds or something like that. Actually fair like twenty years older than some of these guys. But that's when you see dick now, just Hubble up and down the floor. Yes. Like, he's gonna maneuvers way around those racks. It'd be fun to watch. "But he's playing this very flamboyant strange man, and here he needs to be playing a guy who can be taken seriously as a cunning mob boss, and instead he's playing like this weird flamboyant strange, man. So if it was like if this was a movie that was called like the craziest mob boss, and he was the mob. Boss, Reverend was like what's the deal with this guy? He's so weird. And that point I mean, he's I don't know John Travolta's. Gotta weird energy about him that I like he's kind of like, but in this when it doesn't work. Okay. Anyway, in the whole time watching this movie I kept expecting Frank DeAngelis walk in and start on. It does feel like a Frank Angela movie that Frank Dangelo turned down like like, he's like, I've got standards. No, thank you are left, my heart in San Francisco show. Bubba bubba. Boom. So the cops wiretap Angelo on the tapes. He's he he says things about a bad things about the big boss, Paul. And also he talks about unsanctioned hits and stuff and crimes that paldon sanction. Every the the thing that that lesson. They learned from this movie is that mobsters for all their talk of loyalty and respect and honor their constantly pulling off crimes their bosses did not give them permission to do that seems to be the the running thread and Paul wants those tapes. And God is like what we got to kill Paul. I got to save. Angelo. Meanwhile, Godley beats beats the rap on a Rico case, there's a big street celebration that I think is also the fourth of July where fireworks are going off in the city streets. Some cops are like, hey, we gotta shut this down Gianotti stands up to them and the cop stand down in the neighborhood. Cheers because who's really in charge. John Dadi realize that the small Phuc or with Godley. Because once you get the money, then you get the fireworks. And then power. Yeah. God is just keeps trying to kill Paul. And he has meanwhile, there's another childhood friend to his he has killed because he was informant, but then Stacy Keach dies and Paul the big boss. He does the worst thing doesn't show up the funeral and John Gotti. This is unacceptable. And it is a pretty dick move. Like, it's like if you didn't show up at the funeral of the person you're closest to because I don't remember what they said he had to do. I think he was on a boat or something or he had to he was making a like you had to do it personal appearance on the price is right or something. I don't know where do you think he was that was more important than his under bosses funeral damn? Which? Oh boy. Okay. Moving on. Saturday Night Live tickets, and those put so much money into those all the things he really wanted to he really wanted to see the rehearsal because the show we all see the show, but the rehearsal. That's where the magic gets made. And sometimes some of the best is show up and then get killed. But so John Gotti he still wants to kill Paul. And now he really wants to kill him. And so this is when they pull off the one scene in the movie where I was like, oh, yeah. I remember this stuff. Where Paul Castellano is assassinated outside of sparks steak house in Manhattan..

"Objective. Yours is not. So how does that function? Okay. Ultimately, all of it protects racism. All right. I love this picture. Because it's such a visual. Such a visual of institutionalized palace visual representation. These are all men all white all wearing suits all conservative and all at arguably, arguably, the most powerful committee at most powerful table in the whole nation versus the house freedom caucus, and I show this picture because I want to really amplify and help white people. See what does it look like because I'm saying? And if they haven't said it yet a mistake now, all this internalized superiority that white people have comes out of our pores. And you might be sitting here thinking how does it come out of my pores? I don't know. What that looks like I'm gonna try to help you and they're going to try to do it by showing a one that won't be so hard to see that internalize Purity's coming out of these guys pours, right? Is it pretty clear to you? That these these guys are sitting there at the a combination of a lifetime of expecting to be sitting. There have been smartest people in the room of always been at the table of being seen as. Solving the world's problems. And if you walk in that room. Especially for those of us who are people of color or white women. If you walked in that room, would would they kind of power and internalize superiority that these men have wafting off of them. Would it be almost visceral? Okay. So you kind of get what it's like when that that is coming out. Right. And if you were to suggest to these men that they really should get some women are people are color up in there. I don't know. But I believe to my core. They would feel contempt for that suggestion. They don't see anyone of value missing. From that tables that is that fair to say, I can I knowledge I can't know that. But I'm pretty darn sure. They don't see anyone missing. They haven't been taught to see other voices as valuable, and if you can see it in nam, then you gotta say, so what does that look like for me? Right. And I want all the older people who identify as women in the room. Imagine you have to go in there all by yourself because they've asked you to come in and help them see their sexism. This under you're going to go in there and help them. So you can just imagine how that's gonna go. Right. All right. So for all the people are women who could relate to that. And now, I want you to imagine that this group really needs a woman of color on their board. Women of color is that sound good to you. You want to go in there? And be that one woman help these white women's either racism, Robin Dangelo that doesn't sound good to you. Can you see that in this room? I could walk in that room and just be feeling so much sexism, and I could be in this room, perpetrating racism and white women don't land anymore lightly. Either. In fact, I think when white women do not back people of color, the hurt in the betrayal is deeper because we have a potential way in and we use it as a way out..
