"So what is one of your so like we said You have the twenty twenty one day reassess what is one of your favorite testimonials from somebody or one that sticks out to you that you can tell us about you. Know I get so many every day and I got one this morning. You know it was a girl who lost both of her parents last year in a car crash and she gained bunch. Wait obviously that's devastating and she lost sixty pounds through my program in refound herself and I got the email this morning it was so touching and I I get so many of those stories that just touched my soul in so many people who have had disease and who have you know. I get so many emails. And they start with I've been to every doctrine every nutritionist. And I lost all hope until I found this. And you know those all touch my heart but the the ones that really stick out to me honestly are the girls who have had eating disorders and have had a fear around food and in have not nourished their bodies in years Because that's really hard to go from not eating food eating food that is rough and it's rough on your body and it's scary for a lot of people and and those stories The girls who have gained a healthy relationship through food and started nourishing their bodies those stories. Stick out to me the most doing doing that relationship. Yeah that is true because it is a very scary place to go back to and it's something when you have an issue with food you'd you're faced with it three times a day so you it's so important to find relations with it. Yeah to live a vibrant life and like you have to nurse yourself off and that I mean the whole reason. Why I'm I'm doing what I'm doing honestly is because I feel like the world and especially girls and especially my generation they? They need whole health and they need a better relationship with their food. I think food has been taught to be feared by a lot of women is something that I really want to change. Yeah well this goes perfectly along with all this. Do you consider food combining to be a restrictive diet. I don't I don't Because I think that it goes down to your why one of the pages in my reset is fine the why so. Why are you doing this so if you are doing it because you want to repair repair your body image if you want to feel better if you want to have more energy if you want to eat lunch and not feel like you need to take a nap if you want to show show up and be your best self? If you want to lose weight you know then. You're going to do what you feel is best to do. And if that is to try method and to do food combining and to eat more plants than you're going to do it and you're going to do what it takes to get there if you're doing it to fit into a social scene to try to follow follow along with the trend but you really don't care then yeah it might be restricting but anything at first is hard you know. I think people miss that point again. It goes back to like if if we want more energy you know. What could we do? A we can walk into Walgreen's and we can by five hour energy. We can get a double shot of ESPRESSOS. Those are banned dates. You know those are quick fixes. Those are what people think. Okay I'm just going to do that but like I'm not like that I'm like no let's actually make a lifetime change to have more energy you know and so I think that you know it comes down to what do you want and where there's a will there's a way and nothing. It might feel restricted at I. If you were eating in a completely different way but like you know this is my third podcast. The first one I was so scared scared at when you do something for the first time. It's not easy it's uncomfortable. You have to use your mind you have to use your brain and you have to try so it's like anyone who comes you you know if you're if you're doing it for the right reason. It might be uncomfortable at first like anything's uncomfortable. At first. But you have to push through that you know I have a twenty one day reset it because it takes twenty one days to make embrace a habit right so you know if you do it for four days in your life that was too restrictive. It wasn't for me that's you that's on you and that's fine but it's like a you didn't give it your all and you didn't foresee it twenty one days out of your whole entire lifetime is not that long right so give it a shot and also do not want it because if you don't want it and you don't have your why then it's not for you and that's not and it's not going to work and no one cares but don't play the victim When I want to touch on the criticism and we're about to open a whole? Can Dan Worton warm because we were getting heated before podcasts even began So I wanNA talk a little bit about the criticism that you did receive online And I'm not sure I was kind of watching it from you. Know Birds I. I'm not sure exactly how it all happened. But from what it looked like to me Your instagram started growing pretty quickly rapid and then I don't know if it was you were getting. Hey along through it or you explain what. Yeah yes a mainstream was growing rapid rapid fire all through summer really fast and Because all these people were trying it and seeing all these results and then someone one released something. I don't want to say names and I'm not going to say names. Don't give him any more views but someone released something. Basically saying that food combining training is not backed by science. And take that as you will if you really wanNA find scientific evidence on food combining you can and it's out there but it's not in the book and it's not what your doctor was taught and it's not what you're registered Dietitian was taught. The government's not funding the government's not funding it. You know I mean in big Pharma they they make a lot of money off of you. Know Prescriptions to help with digestion and bloat. So they're not going to fund research for that So someone brought it to the attention in a very nasty way and was very mean to me as a human about my method and it caused an outrage because we live in a time where people love to be mad about something they love Hansel culture like Kenzi Burke is canceled cancelled. So you know. I woke up one morning. Twelve an honor took it as as you know. What Oprah Oprah Winfrey got criticized hardcore? Steve Jobs got criticized hardcore. When you're doing something different and you're waking people up to a different thing a new way people we'll get afraid they really afraid they don't like change It's not in the book and you know the whole time I was like this is so dumb like do people Not realize like to me. It's like people are getting mad at me because I'm not referring to this book. Write this book of like science or whatever and I'm like if the book works so well why are we the leading nation and obesity. Why do forty percent of Americans diagnosed with cancer? Why do we we have high blood pressure? Why is everybody low on energy? Why do girls have such a poor relationship with their body and with the food they eat so if the book is working working so well someone tell me? Yeah someone told me why. Although those things are a problem got criticism and I got so many messages from girls in other countries. I don't know what's going on in America but when we go to the doctor with a stomach problem they tell us to do food combining you know so. I got all this criticism and I was more had a hard time with it because I couldn't speak up in that moment. No matter what I said. Eight people were like lashing out to me. I was put on Daily Mail. I was putting cosmopolitan. You know like influencer. You know claims to lose weight off of food combining and I'm like people make me seem like the guy was obese like I'm like five four my grandma's four nine like I'm a petite girl like this is about whole health and not to mention over the course of the summer thousands and thousands of girls turn their entire life around their digestive systems and their health through my program. You don't grow as fast as I was growing. You don't sell as many copies of a program program as I was if it didn't work right if people weren't saying animals and when you are the person who's like this is so bad nobody try. It didn't work for me it. It did this for me and your debunking it when it's worked for so many people and had such positive impact on their health and change their life. You're you're you're invalidating the word invalidating all of those people and saying like well your sickness wasn't real and you didn't really get healed from it for sure and use your body as a science experiment. Yeah I mean the work speaks for itself. It really does like it speaks for itself. I I'm big on. I live what I know and not what I've been taught so you know. I truthfully believe that like what I eat and how I feel after I eat a meal and how I got rid of my migraines and I reverse my I own autoimmune disease and I changed my own body image and I completely transformed my life that speaks volumes to me more than what a computer cuter screen with some sort of evidence is going to speak to me and that's just me and I'm not saying that I'm everybody and I'm not saying that I'm for everyone but to Have outrage about something like that. Blew my mind and I'm not you know I the only thing that upset me about it was like I'm not the first person I didn't discover over. Food combining. Yeah like there are so many professionals that talk about food combining it just so happens that I'm twenty three. I'm attractive and I my my name at that moment. Got Anybody Clicks. And so these people were trying to get clicks and that's what annoys me is like I'm like not not that kind of human. I've never been that kind of human like the number. One thing with me is respect. I'm like you. I'm fine with anybody until they disrespect me. And I felt very disrespected in the public. Look I so. That's what upset me more about it. And it's interesting when we're talking about. We're going into this but cosmopolitan and all all those other places that you Daily Mail who are writing articles saying. Oh this didn't work like this influence or claim to do this when those are the same magazines who get paid aid thousands and thousands of dollars to put an ad in for some crazy weight loss thing like a crazy bill me T. It's like about the skinny. I mean what really pissed the off. Now I'll tell you. What is that my whole if you read my twenty one day reset first of all? I don't mention the word. Food combining because I want everybody to discover their air bodies and how they feel for themselves second of all it is not restrictive in the sense that. I don't say you have to eat this. I don't talk about calories. I say here the list of foods that you can eat and I give the freedom for people to take that and to apply into their own life Educate educate and the reason I created. It is because I was in. I created it in the way I created because I was the girl who was buying plan after plan after plan right and they all had to do with calories. Put One third of your banana in your smoothie bananas too much sugar and Yada Yada Yada and I was like this is bull and and I don't I just didn't align with and that's restrictive and restrictive. So what set me off the most about this whole thing is someone like myself who's is aligning whole health. Who is making girls excited to eat? Everyone is eating whole real foods and healing all of these issues like IB S. and P. C. uh-huh s and repairing these disorders. They've had you know I get criticism but someone over there can still be telling sixteen-year-olds worlds to put one third of their banana in their smoothie. And to make sure they don't go over fifteen hundred calories and I talk about the quality over food over the quantity so it's like that's what made me mad is why but I realized why now is because you know people they want the short term solution you know being really healthy and really being conscious about what you put into your body it takes time and it takes effort and it's threatening to some people and it's uncomfortable uncomfortable..

"App and favorite us today. And if you have Alexa, Google home just say play WFAN and you'll be locked into the fan. You're locked in with Pete McCarthy. PD MAC on this Saturday evening. Eight seven seven three three seven sixty six sixty six the number talk a lot of baseball Aaron judge. Michael Conforto each with home runs today. I think those are as pivotal players. Both the Mets the Yankees will be looking at this year. In the case of Aaron judge. It doesn't have to do everything. It's just a matter of I think he might be able to do everything for the Yankees. And I would say he's not really a dark horse candidate with this start thinking about the AL MVP. And if you're going to put a couple of shackles on that you'd ever really want to go up against Mike trout, but if you're going to our judge looks like he's poised for that kind of year. You know, the Yankees are going to be competitive that would help him as far as that goes. So I just stick the sky's the limit for judge do there in the Bronx. And then could oh he's pivotal for the Mets is we talked about with how he rose a little earlier. This is the guy with the highest ceiling on the Mets, and they need to have a feared batter in the lineup wouldn't count and Robertson Cano at thirty six years old to be that guy, and you on assessment is no longer is that guy until he comes back maybe in the second half of the year. But it's time for Michael Conforto to put it all together. Six. Month's none of those long slumps. And do what I think Mets fans have been hoping he'd be capable of doing since the home runs. He hit that postseason run back in twenty fifteen for the Mets again, eight seven seven three three seven sixty six sixty six. Let's go to Andrew and your falls. What's up Andrew? Hey, how's it going to be do? They match stakes either. Get wit operate got hurt. I think they should just trade him get some lower level. Don't have enough starting pitchers as it is Andrew. Well, this is what I'm saying. What what wallet? The guy has always killed the match forever as whole career sign GIO Gonzalez. I'd rather have Stephen geo Gonzales lefty matches better than geo Gonzales. Even better than you gazelle. Yes. He is how. Jio is pitch great at city field. But he's pitch. Great against the Mets over the years. I'd rather take another chance on Matt's. Even last year. He did make thirty starts. He had the RA just under four. He's okay. He's just never going to be what the expectations were when he was coming up. And that's okay. What happened to that guy? Two thousand fifteen when they went to the World Series as pitching quality games in the season. And it just his performance. I mean, obviously the health. But now the interesting part of it good. Well last year, he he goes through slumps. And we know that he has worked a lot on keeping his composure on the mound and not allowing things to snowball. It was something that he made the adjustment where he would collected self behind the mound after every batter last journey had some success with that. But you still see times? He'll give up big head home run. Whatever it is. He has high expectations for he's very tough on himself. You see him yelling at himself on the mound. In those things and often there are mistakes that follow that. And I think at this point. It's just kind part of who he is. And what you deal with. And maybe that prevents him from being as great member. Dan, Worton was comparing the Clayton Kershaw when he was working his way through the Mets minor leagues. And I just don't think he's going to be that guy. But that doesn't mean that Stephen Matt's is a failure or a bad picture. Stephen Matt's could be the Mets number four starter. And that's a great spot for him. He's a mid rotation pitcher. He's a lot better. The Jason my is better than geo Gonzales, and he doesn't have to be Wheeler degrom and Syndergaard at the top of the rotation. Let those three guys run with it. And if Matt's gives you six innings three-run ball more often than not you'll take that. And he still has the ability to be better than that. And it's good to see him make thirty starts last year. But no, I'm not I'm not getting rid of Steven Mads dumping him said go to GIO Gonzalez. Dallas kaikal is better than Stephen Matt's. Not GIO Gonzalez. John in the Bronx is next. What's up, John? Hey. Pistol Pete welcome welcome to the fan. Thanks, john. Welcome to listen. They kept talking about the biggest free agents in the market over with the biggest free agent and the fan got your guy. Yeah. Hoffa is rookie it. So they didn't bring him up, and they paid the price. They just they missed the playoffs and their top pitching there. They had shut him down in Tampa. Didn't reverse they should have brought off road right away. And the top pitchers the time limit thing. They should brought him up later in the year. They they messed it up his rookie. Yeah. But the thing is the thing with the three battery it's ridiculous because listening the guy the guy's getting bombed the first to leave him in the I'd have to take an injury to get him out of the race stuck in their high stuck he gets lit up. You gotta you gotta stick with them. It's better than the constant one batter on our you have another commercial break, the next guy warms up e faces one batter. Your back to commercial these pivotal tons of the game. You don't want it to slow down to that degree? And the other thing I like about it is. Yeah, it makes it more difficult for the pitching team the defensive team. So gets the more lead changes late in games. Bullpens have gotten extremely good. I think a little too good. I think those are the fun bomblets. Right. You want to see the clutch hits. You're gonna say. Some more of that twenty twenty. But baseball is you're waiting for that great moment to happen in the game. It has nothing to do. First of all. The guy the guy fake interesting of pulling Matt. Or are we going to beat the guy? The that starts to happen often. Then we'll see we'll see it play out the the minor leagues this year. And if the managers are really manipulating the roles, then they'll have to make an adjustment. Teams are always going to do something. You don't put it past any these did they find every little advantage that they can. But I don't think you're asking that much for someone to go out and face three batters without faking an injury. And if teams are doing it while you're going to see if you're a pitcher leaves the game early. You're going to be unavailable for a certain amount of games after that point there'll be some kind of demerit punishment over you wanna put it that be part of the conversation there. Let's go to be K and Yonkers what's on your mind. Vk don't pay. I don't understand before spring frayed how do people they protect us chief because call eighty four other eighty-five over sweet. To the one decimal point actually, really very good at it. I put up the ball. So who's gonna get hurt? Go to save up. Sorry to be politically incorrect. But also. Okay. Got show hyped. I. Is that perfect? Will either average this year? Go out. Of course, he he certainly have the opportunity to hit about three fifty there. And that's of course, does not just about. It doesn't help you much for the home runs. But the batting average the outfield is so spacious Murph will be able to go opposite field into the gaps. He he could be a monster with batting average this year. They're in Colorado. Certainly would put it past them. They're eight seven seven three three seven sixty six sixty six you give out on Twitter as well. At the PD MAC Carthy right here.

Hey, I bought Mullins crop. He turned down, Dan Worton and sold it to you. I mean, I hold it for him. He thought he thought the price might be better someplace else not enough to haul. It an extra thirty miles to Prescott. And besides you made that sale the day after Mullin was killed. I was it a trap. I was afraid that he killed Mellon were you, and I witness. Yes. Yes. "From what from what you re or hearing is there is there a team that's out there from what we've seen out of matt harvey that would be willing to give him a major league deal at this point or do you think he's going to have to work his way up out of the minor leagues for another team no i think there's enough teams that don't have a shot to win this year and they'll look at it and say hey you know what we can bring in matt harvey in the major league rosser put them at the back end of the rotation see what he can do here you know i look at a team like baltimore which had some interest in in the off season maybe he's a fit there texas dan worton is down there as the assistant pitching coach he has a relationship obviously with rb from his years with the mets i think there's a couple of natural fits that that stand out and i'd be surprised if matt harvey isn't on a major league roster within the next week make some sense is worse than there i don't know somehow i'm picturing baltimore and i'm picturing the reds matt harvey regularly face the red sox and the yankees and it just doesn't sound pretty but no i guess especially in camden yard that to be seems like a recipe for disaster if i were matt i'd be i'd be calling up dan worthen so here we are this clubhouse that was salt and pepper shakers todd frazier kumbaya everything was great.
